My wife and I had a late (two days late) Valentine’s celebration on 2/16. We ordered the Fromage as a started (I wasn’t a fan of it). I had the Duck Breast which was absolutely delicious!! My wife had the Chicken entree which was also delicious. I ordered the Skinny Spice drink and I couldn’t have enough of them. Wife had two different drinks, the Felicity and the holiday Splitzer.
Over all, everything was absolutely great. Good food, good service and great drinks. Will definitely return to dine here.
We had Sunday brunch at Katharine Brasserie & Bar to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. We were surprising my parents with brunch and a stay at the Kimpton. The hotel & restaurant went above & beyond to help me pull off the surprise with complimentary gifts and goodies galore! The staff was amazing, the food and drinks were divine. My son said the Belgium waffle was the best he'd ever tasted. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back in the future for special meals.
We had breakfast at The Katharine before touring Old Salem. The food came out just as I ordered it: soft scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, buttered wheat toast, arugula, along with a very tasty Mimosa. I also ordered yogurt with strawberries which included pistachios and a small pitcher of honey. (They serve breakfast potatoes too with the meal, but I didn’t want those, and they didn’t show up on my plate.) Every request I made was followed to the letter! BTW, my friend and I both have daughters named Katharine with an “a” and their birthdays are in December, so we thought this was a good omen, and it was!
Had a great dinner here. Speciality cocktails were amazing, as was all of the food! We had mussels, steaks, salmon salad, and dessert. Honestly dessert was the least favorite. The servers were great, patient with our toddler, and really attentive. We can’t wait to come back here another time.
Amazing bar and bartender. One of my top 10 favorite ever bars. Atmosphere and drinks are just incredible. Already planning a future visit with more time to enjoy things.
