Our first time here as a family dinner for my birthday and everything is delicious. The restaurant is well decorated and the staff are knowledgeable on the menu. I ended up getting the fried chicken steak, strawberry ginger margarita and a mimosa with a butterscotch bread pudding with a vanilla sauce. I like the fact you can eat outside in the warm tents or inside with the choice of the main floor or upstairs. Oh we did have the wings and biscuits for appetizers. Delicious delicious
This was my second visit and this time I knew to make reservations in advance because Sunday brunch can be pretty busy. My girlfriends were happy to enjoy some mimosas and bacon wrapped dates to start.
My Bleu cheese and bacon burger was pretty decent. I definitely prefer a thin patty like they had, so that was great. But both my friend and I agree that they could’ve been a bit more generous with those toppings as the edges were quite naked. However, their fries were great!
I also took home two take and bake chocolate chip cookies. I thought it was odd they didn’t put instructions in the bag. So I just set my oven to 350 and kept and eye on them. In the end they took maybe 18 minutes?? They weren’t the best cookies I’ve had in this area, but I can’t say no to a fresh out of the oven cookie.
Our server was great. Very helpful answering all my crazy menu questions.
A popular place for breakfast based solely on the number of customers at the restaurant on a Friday morning.
Our breakfast was filling and full of flavor.
Coffee was frequently refilled - complete with a question "Do you want any coffee to go ?"
Truly enjoyed our dining experience at MoCo's Founding Farmers restaurant.
It is one of the best restaurants in the area. We always love dining in here. The food, service, and ambiance are good. However, the food is delayed for a long time during busy hours. That's one of the drawbacks if you are hungry. You will have to wait for a long time. Other than that, the quality of the food is great, and all the items are delicious. I would recommend this place for good food.
It’s a great place with good food. We’ve enjoyed our family meals and take-away during Covid very much. The Farmers salad is one of the best salads we’ve ever had—so delicious. The pasta dishes (like 4-cheese/butternut ravioli) are very yummy. The mac&cheese is outrageously good and the peanut butter pie and butterscotch bread pudding are both to die for.
Unfortunately, a couple of our week-night pick ups haven’t been that great. The chicken fried steak (yum peppery!) and ravioli with chicken cutlet were tasty, but both were overdone to the point of shoe leather. And, as my pics show, the soup is usually very good, but at $9 for about 3/4 cup (*TINY*) we will definitely skip it in the future.
