About
Parada is a trendy Peruvian restaurant that offers a variety of delectable dishes, ranging from rotisserie chicken to ceviche. The vibrant space includes a popular patio seating area. While some patrons praised the excellent food, with reviewer David recommending the flavorful aji de gallina, others found the atmosphere just okay. Unfortunately, the service received mixed reviews, as some felt it was lacking. One particular bartender seemed more interested in his phone than his job.Reviews

I went to Parada last night for the first time. The restaurant was very noisy and we were a group of seven so we sat on the patio. Even though we were right next to Treat Blvd and there of plenty of obnoxious cars going by, it was quite lovely for dinner. Our waiter was amazing and the food is very good. At first, we were worried the menu had no vegetarian options and since five people in our group are vegetarians, there was a moment when we weren’t sure to stay. But, many of the menu items can be served without meat and we all had great dinners. I had a mushroom side plate that was amazing and the empanadas looked good too. I ordered a Pisco Sour to start, which was an excellent choice. Give this place a try. I think you will be happy.
Food her is great (at least the lamb shank I had 😁). I was honestly going to skip the onions but after tasting everything together it's worth the food experience.
The service for me wasn't good. Didn't get a refill on the water nor did the waitress visit my table to see if I need anything. I really only interacted with her at the start and the end of my meal (waited like 10 minutes to close my check after meal).
Overall I recommend going here once. It's a one and done for me.
Delicious Peruvian food, I highly recommend you try the king salmon and blue mash potatoes. The seasonings on all the plates were amazing. The empanadas were a nice treat as well.
Great little spot by the pleasant hill BART station. Relatively quiet area, with great outdoor seating. Best empanadas of all the Peruvian restaurants I've been to in California. Crust is soooo flaky and filling is tender. The mushroom empanada is especially good. The skewers were excellent as well. Ceviche is good. Fish is styled in larger chunks almost like poke. Staff is very friendly and attentive.
Food was excellent (thanks to reviewer David who recommended the aji de gallina!), atmosphere was okay, service was pretty bad. The hot tattooed male bartender was more interested in his phone than his job. It was a relatively slow night, but I left feeling like a problem. When he prioritized the closing procedures (an hour before close) right in front of my seat rather than elsewhere, I knew it was time to go. Next time I’ll get takeout. Food = worth the cost; drinks def $3-4 too expensive
