The Warehouse Restaurant in Marina del Rey offers a unique dining experience with its casual and lively vibe, delicious food like Shrimp Campi and calamari, beautiful views of the marina, friendly service, and fun atmosphere. Guests can enjoy happy hour with strong Mai Tais, live music events, handicap-friendly facilities, and a variety of dishes from brunch to seafood trios. The decor gives off an old-school Tiki bar/South Pacific feeling with large menus to choose from. While some reviewers noted underwhelming experiences due to understaffing or mediocre food garnishing at times, overall it's praised for being a lovely spot for date nights or family outings.
I give 5 stars for the food. We had a late lunch and it has a casual n lively vibe about it.We ordered Shrimp Campi, iceberg wedge salad and wine to begin with.
The Warehouse Restaurant opened in 1969, they retained some of their history. You can see some of the original decor.
We truly enjoyed the afternoon, watched the boats sailing and finally ended our meal with stuffed omelets n toast. Great service n ambience. Its a lovely place to visit with friends n family.
It has been a while. Our experience was not good due to under staff. The waitress was new and she seemed to ignore us without refilling the water, taking the order. She only showed up once to deliver the food and the whole time, we could not find him. We had to ask the Mexican cleaner to find her for us to give us the bill.
She disappeared again and we had to walk to the receptionist to pay. She was young and inexperienced and the pandemic makes everywhere under staff that I don’t blame her.
Food is good, the service is lacking. That is it!
Food was alright. I think they garnished the dishes just a little bit overboard imo. Service was decent, nothing out of the ordinary or anything to write home about. Atmosphere, like the presentation was a little bit over the top. Expect to pay for parking in their own lot, valet or not. As well as tip/ gratuity added to every bill. Not a big deal but to be completely honest i would have tipped 20% as apposed to the 15% automatically added. Great view of the marina while you eat though.
Such an amazing spot in the heart of Marina del Rey. If you're like me and you love happy hour, The Warehouse offers an amazing one from 4pm -7pm. Their delicious Mai Tais could keep you there all night as you dine and enjoy live music. Being a disabled patron, I love how handicap friendly this place is, including beautiful views. Service was incredible, drinks strong, and food flavorful, well seasoned, and delicious. It is a great spot for date night, group outings, and family time.
We enjoyed this place so much that we started with eating delicious brunch items and fun unlimited mimosas for $20 at 11:30. We then moved to the bar area until 5:00 pm continuing to enjoy the atmosphere. The bartender was also very accommodating with our drink orders which was nice.
