Great dinner service at the bar. Definitely recommend the grouper. Nicely prepared with the purple rice topped with cucumber salad. Also had the bread pudding for dessert. They also have a nice happy hour til 6pm which I ordered their house red wine and warm roasted nuts.
We started at Citizen Public House for happy hour a little before our dinner reservation and we were glad we did. They have a good selection of drink specials and bites to eat, actually at happy hour deals.
Our entrees were excellent. The flavors in both the grouper and scallops dishes were wonderful; we both had clean plates at the end of the meal. The staff was also very welcoming.
Decent choice but there are better options in the area. Good availability and friendly staff. Service was OK but not exceptional . Drinks overall were solid. The meatloaf however was extremely overrated, dry,, and lacking in flavor. The Sea Bass was also dry and not flaky but better in flavor than the meatloaf; at ~$45 though WAY over-priced for the quality. Crab cakes again were just OK. On the other hand the Mac and Cheese was truly exceptional and worth a stop on its own, with a slight be of spice I found it addictive.
Not my pick but went along with friends for early New Years dinner. Drinks are inventive...for better or worse. Chop salad was great. Scallops were tasty but very very salty. Bread "pudding" was a joke. Just a slice of bread with some sauce. Really lame but hopefully just that way for the New Year's special... which we all know is typically a rip off. Great server. Even though it's New Year's they should make an effort so they get new repeat customers.
We ate like kings! Great experience, fantastic service and most of all really tasty meals, lucky we also got to take advantage of the restaurant week menu!
