We had a wonderful dinner at Red Salt. My husband ordered their Kobe burger, and I had the lobster gnocchi. Scallops were our appetizer and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. Since we stayed at Ko'a Kea, we also got to sample various breakfast items, and loved everything! We recommend the omelettes, avocado toast, and eggs Benedict!
Ate here multiple times while staying at the resort and never got tired of it! Delicious options for all times of the day. The dinner was delectable with a romantic ambiance. Great portions, really good service. Nick was our server for dinner and was very friendly, quick service, knowledgeable of dishes and described every piece of the dish as he brought it to us. Highly recommend the ahi bruschetta appetizer - best bruschetta I’ve had. All of the dishes were done to perfection! Pictures include… lobster Benedict, avocado toast, loco moco, filet mignon, nut and seed crusted Mahi, ahi bruschetta, and a smoked old fashioned. We’ll be coming back for more!
A letdown. Great ambience but ultimately was disappointed with lack of flavors and poor service. Ricotta starter was excellent. Coconut curry bisque was bland and lukewarm, but plenty of seafood. Ordered the whole crispy snapper to be shared by two people and there was a struggle during a request for a spoon or anything to transfer rice to our plates that delayed eating the dish for over 15 minutes. Opposition from multiple staff members saying that is not how we normally serve this with no clarification how they expected us to transfer rice grains and mushrooms and edamame to separate plates with a dinner fork. Not impressed at all with their lack of customer service. Too bad the fish was also greasy and tasteless with a soy dressing. This item was priced at $82, so should have been better treated with more respect. Would serve the team well to also respect the guest as we seriously felt abandoned. Frequent flyer to Poipu but not interested in coming here again as there are better places
Very tasty. Very pricey. Superb service - Allen was very attentive. The blueberry margarita was the best I've ever had (real blueberries, blueberry vodka, chambord, and lemon), fantastic spicy ribs, and the lobster risotto was also appallingly good.
Not a big fan of the ricotta appetizer - the sweet from the cheese and honey clashed with the truffle (but the toasted bread bites were amazing), and the lobster and crab dynamite sushi roll was absolutely delicious. (And not spicy despite the sound of it.)
Our Experience here was wonderful! The best I ever had! Dustin was our waiter, and he was amazing! I did get engaged here on Valentine's Day. And did out right with the beach as the background, it was a dream come true and the staff here made it stress-free for me.
