What a gorgeous dinner! We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a four course meal and every bite was both beautiful and delicious. The staff were kind and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely return!
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ontario. My favourite place sit is at the bar looking onto the kitchen. Seeing the chefs move is like dinner and a show. Typically a set menu, but really some amazing combinations of favours! They are a great twist on classics would appeal to foodies and less adventurous eaters alike. Ingredients are super fresh, food is unreal and with an amazing wine list, this place is a must dine.
The food tastes really good and seems very authentic. The flavours are genuine and the plating is very impressive but the best part is their service. All the staff members and waitresses make a genuine effort to connect with you and make sure that you get whatever you are looking for. Their local knowledge and willingness to guide you around the different foods they offer and wines they serve goes a long way in making sure you are treated with respect and honour. Would strongly recommend this place for a great meal whether it’s morning breakfast or afternoon brunch/ lunch or even a sumptuous dinner.

My husband and I had different 4 course menus and shared to taste more of the menu. Every dish was so fresh and thoughtfully put together. The Farm to Table concept really shined through.

I went to Treadwell with my family on 23rd March at 12pm for lunch. We ordered 2 starters and 3 main dishes for the four of us to share. We were all utterly shocked to have all the dishes coming at the same time!! When I gently mentioned to the waitress twice that we had never had that kind of experience in a restaurant with all the dishes landing at our table, starters and all, she didn't seem to care and went off with her own business when there were just two more customers sitting at the bar in the whole restaurant at that time. Shouldnt the chef and the waitress be aware of the timing of serving the dishes? We had to rush through our mussels, beef tenderloin, salmon, and pasta, and of course most of the food was cold after 10 minutes.
I have never had such a bad culinary experience in a western restaurant and I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that we were Asians. When we told them that we had a 12pm reservation, we were told that they were serving lunch menu at that time. Why? Did they think that we booked a table at 12pm for just a drink? Anyway, we did our share of adding an 18% tip to the bill despite our doubt of their worth. But did they live up to the expectations of their customers in terms of service? Definitely not!!!!
