Well organized with lots of introduction. Highly recommend to visit, in contrast, you’ll be more satisfy if you lower your expectations. It might be less collection if you’re a collector for seeing. But lots of emotions if you’re interesting in history of a great man :)

An excellent preservation of Napoleon's house and the story of his life and his family history and genealogy. Definitely recommend using the portable audio guide; you will learn so much. Walk through at your own pace. The walls in the house are hand-painted and look like wallpaper. Furniture dates back to the 1700's and is exquisite.

A must for fans of the Napoleon's wars as well as of Napoleon. A bit sterile inside, derived from its past as a public hosting location I think. The culture of Napoleon deserves greater investigation and more exhibits. Well run.

I really enjoyed it, we went on my birthday and it was beautiful to see the rooms and decors together with the paintings. It was kind of confusion because everything was in french and there was an audio guide but sometimes the story did not flow that well. nevertheless i really enjoyed it and spent quite some time strolling around there.

The worst travel experience in my life. I will never book on there ferries. I travelled in family with my car on the ferry Daniel Casanova. They sent a reminder before a week with our family ticket, they shortened the boarding time, without mentioning it in the mail neither highlighted in the tickets. Then they changed the gate without communicating the info. So we spent hours driving between all port gates. We were a minutes to miss the ferry and they were not reachable by phone. Later on the ferry, restaurants were closed, only one was open -also they did not communicate the info, at least we could bring with us foods- so there was a queue of 1 hour to get a lunch.. all these mess within a travel of 24 hours. Avoid this company, if you have the choice.

Nice rooms, nice bar. Much better (and better for the environment) than taking an airplane! Only I think there should be more of a discount for passengers without a car.

We were a bit anxious after reading bad reviews but our experiences with Corsica Linea have been very good. We had to cancel a sailing planned earlier in the year because of the covid19 outbreak and were refunded without issues. We finally could make the sailing in June and everything went very smoothly. 4 person cabin bigger than expected with large window. The only thing that could be improved is that announcements are in French only.

Have used the services of Corsica Linea a few times now. Easy access, friendly staff and usually plenty of space to relax if you haven't booked a cabin.

Neither the pin location on this map (as at 06NOV18) nor the one they tell you in your booking confirmation are correct for pedestrian passengers ("Gare Corse Joliette" simply doesn't exist) , making it very confusing for pedestrian embarkation and causing a lot of stress. Either arrive very early to find it (it's sort of south of the shopping mall, unsigned) or better still, catch Corsica-Sardinia Ferries who seem much more organised overall and let you roam outside on the deck, which wasn't possible bar one small space on Corsica Linea's service to Bastia.

Boat was a bit dated. The room shook a lot and was quite noisy which made it difficult to sleep.

The chapel was included, but overrated; the actual museum was fantastic though! Recommendation for improvement is to either add a translation to the text (or a QR code). What I loved about the museum was the depth of artwork it presented; it didn't have an overwhelming religious focus. Instead it sectioned each floor with a different focus: Corsica art in the basement, Napoleon Bonaparte and Bonaparte family on the ground floor, religious focus at the first floor that was mostly Christian themed, but did have some pagan themes, and everyday life artwork on the second floor.

Ajaccio guive you many perspectives to enjoy. Don't forget this experience.

Some great paintings with fantastic history behind them. We had a tour guide and the tour finished here, it was definitely worth paying for the guide.

The lighting on the paintings in nearly every room made them difficult to see except from certain view points. I particularly liked the Napoleon exhibit and the hallway of still life paintings

It is hard to believe that this was part of a private collection, there is so much to see. We were fortunate to have an outside guide for an hour to explain some of the paintings to us which really provided an informed perspective and understanding of what we were looking at. Without that perspective, this would have been just another art museum.

I really liked it here. My only criticism is the lighting. Some of the paintings had such a glare on them it made it impossible to see them properly. The big black sculpture, for example, shouldn't be in front of the window....the light behind it makes it hard to see. It would be nice to have translations in other languages even if it's via the internet using a QR code. Apart from that it's very clean and the staff were pleasant.

Most of the works belong to Italian artists, not comparable to the Louvre or orsay. high ticket prices and no discount for student.

I visited the museum last Saturday during the open night therefore the entry was free. I saved 8€ entry fees. The lighting is terrible and the best paintings are not highlighted. However I recommend visiting the chapel next door.

Not a enormous museum, but has some pretty amazing paintings. Recommend downloading their app for a guided experience during the visit.
