Nice to see the bridge in real. Some issues to find a parking place ( don‘t understand how to pay because service was down) but loved to see it also from lake side

Modern and magnificent bridge in the new center of Podgorica. It is relative big and used for cars and pedestrians. Better view is from a pedestrians bridge just next to. It also worth a visit at night to see the bridge lights. Quite colourful. River below the bridge looks clean.

The bridge was designed by Marjan Pipenbaher from the Slovenian company Ponting Bridges and Mladen Ulićević, a professor at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica. It was built by the Slovenian company Primorje, and opened on 13 July 2005, Montenegro's National Day. It quickly became one of the city's most prominent landmarks. The bridge is 173 metres long, and the pylon soars 57 m above the roadbed. Twelve cables support the roadway deck, while twenty-four more are attached to the counterweights, creating an imposing image. The construction of the bridge began in 2005, and the building cost was approximately 7 million euros. The roadway carries two lanes of traffic and a pedestrian walkway in each direction. The bridge connects the Boulevard of Ivan Crnojević in the city centre and July 13 street in the new part of city, thus relieving the other congested bridges connecting the city center with the densely populated districts over the Morača river.

The amazing interior of this church is breathtaking. The main chandelier is beautiful and reminds me of many churches in Istanbul. Iconography is dominant and well preserved. I wonder if it really helps pilgrims to meet with resurrect Jesus when they come to worship, or is it an obstacle to true worship, forcing their thoughts and prayers towards patron saints instead to the living Son of God .

Very beautiful church. The art work , painting and the colors are so beautiful. The paintings have such an amazing color and the whole church inside is filled with these paintings. One of the must visit places in Podgorica.

Must visit. Placed on the very center of the city New Cathedral with very nice architecture and wonderful fresco paintings on the walls and roof. I was surprised to see big number of Bulgarian and Serbian orthodox saints on this fresco.

One of the best places to visit in podgorica. Amazing cathedral almost out of this world. It is the biggest Orthodox Church in Montenegro. A giant place full of beautiful statues and amazing paintings, you can almost breath mystic air in there. A visit is in every case worth. Entrance is free. Please go respectful with the people and the pleace.

Newish cathedral with lovely gilded interior but it is set in the middle of a housing estate and half finished surroundings.

It is located in the western part of the city, and as far as I understand, the new city has been built here. I had read that there was a debate among the locals about its suitability as an Orthodox church, but it was a pleasant visit for tourism purposes. We happened to witness a wedding ceremony when we visited, and observing the local people and their traditions was a delightful experience. I recommend visiting it when you are in the city.

This is my favorite cathedral in the world which is built during modern times. Thanks Montenegro for showing world that beatiful architecture is not dead. It is also different from traditional architectures. Definitely recommended. No ticket is required for entrance.

From Wikipedia: Construction of the church of around 14,000 square feet began in 1993 to a design by Predrag Ristić. Consecration occurred on October 7, 2013, on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan on freedom of religion, and it was attended by the heads of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilus III and Russian Patriarch Cyril, together with Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije and other Metropolitanate clerics. On 1 November 2020, the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral for the thirty years (1990–2020), Amfilohije was, at his own request, buried in the crypt of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, in a resting place prepared for his lifespan.

Stunning modern church. Lots of gold leaf and rather impressive. Very photogenic. Lots of parking although it needs more work to finish the outside. Not ticketed.

Beautiful canyon which road is following with many tunnels and then going up to the mountains covered in mist. Road should be better maintained and renovated but it is also amazing to see what was done in the past without modern technology.

What a beautiful and scenic lake. The water here is so clear and blue, and the beautiful rocks that surround the lake are great to sit on. There was almost no shade so keep that in mind, and try not to get too close to the trees since there are a ton of mosquitoes there. Keep this in mind and you will have a great time here. The lake is not crowded at all and it's so quiet here that it makes a fantastic place to rest.

Great scenery, very old road through the mountain. Lots of vehicles are passing by here, so it's kinda hard to find the space to take some photos.

Beautiful river. Just the canyon part was not very well described and there are hard places for kayakers.

Wonderful little bridge but litter everywhere, on the trees, between the bushes, under the bridge. The colour of the water is beautiful and the place could be a very nice historic spot if it was cared for.

Absolutely worth going to see this bridge and the confluence of the rivers. It's beautiful, it historical and it's a piece of peace snack bang in the heart of Podgorica's centre. Extremely photogenic and a beauty from all angles. The surrounding green area is delightful.

Nice place to visit and relax in Podgorica. The area is calm and feels like you are not in the city, which makes this place worth visiting, as long as you bing some coffee/food so that you can spend some time there.

It's like a hidden gem in the city center. A very calm and peaceful place. It feels so good to see two rivers meeting. The bridge gives medieval vibes.

Low tide let’s you get close to this beautiful little bridge. The water is super clear and it’s suitable for smaller children too. The walk is a little intense and if the weather turns you’ll be able to shelter in a nearby outcrop. It’s the point two rivers meet so after heavy rain the water level can be much higher. Great for photos.

Very nice place to cool down in the middle of the city. You can sunbath or swim, or casually have a drink (bring your own). It's probably one of the most beautiful places of Podgorica.

I think this is the most beautiful view point in Podgorica old town area, there's nothing much can see at the night as it's quite dark, suggest visit in the morning

The Bridge in Podgorica is the oldest bridge in the city, located at the confluence of Moraca and Ribnica rivers. It was built during the Roman era and underwent restoration funded by the Ottomans in the 18th century. Situated at a central point in the city, you can take a peaceful walk, sit down, and unwind amidst the sounds of chirping birds. A must-visit spot in the city. One end of the bridge leads to the old neighborhood, where I recommend strolling through the streets and also checking out the clock tower.

There was no water under the bridge, there was, but it was peaceful and free and a must-see. Because we are interested in historical ruins.

Beautiful church, close to the center of Podgorica. The church is well preserved and well maintained, with ample space around it. It is located at the beginning of a large and silent park. It can be reached very easily and is certainly worth a visit during your stay in Podgorica.

This is situated right at the entrance at the park. It is free in and small so worth popping your head in for a minute to see the frescos.

A beautiful church located a short walk from the old town. The church is next to the Gorica park which is lovely to walk around. The church is Orthodox and has a lovely architectural design. This is a nice destination for any tourist coming to Podgorica. There is parking out in front of the church.

Tiny church, plan about 30 seconds for the visit. Looks nice enough, if you're already visiting the park, it's worth checking out.
