Crystal clear water, beautiful colours. Our bouttrip was cool, really enjoyed it. Negativity: too many people were allowed to go to the cave at the same time. People were jumping off the boat, not wait for other boats to stop. It was dangerous. Otherwise it was the best program during our visit, speedboating in Kotor Bay is amazing.

The hype is real. It’s incredibly beautiful and also incredibly fun to jump in the water and swim for a few. It felt very safe and all the different tour operators had a good routine bringing people in, giving each group time in the water, etc. Don’t expect to have it to yourself or to spend an hour taking photos but you will be able to make it look like you did!

Amazing natural Cave, the blue color is a reflection of the clear blue water with the sunlight & cave stones. Only way to reach is by rented boat , Boats enters this gigantic cave for a brief spin & turning around ( some people stop for a swim) . A must visit site. Enjoy. NK

A great spot for a swim and usually a part of the 40€ boat offered by various operators. This is probably the only part of the tour exposed to the ocean so if you are prone to see sickness you may want to consider the wind / weather conditions. Boats of various sizes will go depending on how many tickets are sold.

Got a speed boat tour from Kotor, there are various tour operators along the sea front that take you out to Kotor bay to see different sites, they take you to the Blue cave and you have time to swim in the cave water. The cave is stunning and can be busy.

Is was fun 🤩 we really enjoyed it. But there were lots of ships inside the so I believe it’s dangerous to swim inside the blue cave. And the smell because of the ship’s engines is really bad. I hope they stop ships from going inside the cave. We went there by taking a boat from Kotor. We booked Kotor trip with 360 monte and it’s great. We visited many places with them other than the blue cave. It is only one stop of the trip

It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Kotor, Montenegro. We went on a speed boat. We bought the ticket from the Green Park area, a hundred meters near the Old Town Marine gate. The ticket cost us 30 euros per head. It was a 3 hours tour and showed us several places beside the blue cave. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.

Blue caves with shallow 5-6meter depth of water. The water appears clear aquamarjne in colour due to the difference in light at the interface. Good for a nice swim if water temperature permits. The cave is lined with miniscule stalactites throughout.

One of the most unique experiences you can get . The water colour comes from the salinity of the water and the light . The water is so clean that it's amazing. Bring your swim wear you can swim here .

Stunning blue water in the cave. Water wasn't super warm and many of us were chilled from the boat spray getting here so only a few brave souls went swimming in the cave, although 30 minutes was allocated. Lots of other boats came in during our time period, mid May, not even height of tourist season yet. Already too many other tourists for me!

It is worth while going to but such a shame there are no signs what is where and it is quite confusing. Not all was open either...

Dubrovnik Old Town is a beautuful place. We were there at the start of June and it wasn't as busy as we imagined/were warned. It's a beautifully preserved old town or g and magnitude and there is beauty in every.

We enjoyed a pleasant wander around the old town. Even out of season there were still quite a lot of people around. I can imagine in the summer it can be a bit of a nightmare… Building work underway at the castle but good that they’re taking care of it.

Herceg Novi is a marbel on the entrance at the Boka Kotorska. Just 45km from Dubrovnik, an old medieval Montenegro port,with a beuatiful old town and a very rich cultural and tourist offer to a visitor. Moderate prices for a high end cousine and service. Really gorgeous town and very friendly people.

Old town as it once was, with narrow streets and packed with history. Founded by the King of Bosnia Tvrtko I, it is a testament to his visionary leadership. Fully recommended to visit and explore the place.

Dubrovik is only 40 minutes away by car. But the overall consumption is cheaper and more affordable than in Croatia! The scenery is beautiful, the seaside mountain view and the old town are all worth a visit

Lovely area to wander round and explore on foot. On street parking is limited but we used an underground car park which was surprisingly cheap.

Beautiful off season. I've come to this place both in August and March and it looks completely differently in the spring - it's a lovely, romantic little town experience. One afternoon is enough though.

As the name suggests old town is old. Medieval. There are a lot of steps. But if you can handle the steps the fortress is worth a look. Plus there's plenty of cafés to grab a drink in.

Really nice street leading to Bella Vista. Looked like the heart of local community so it was good to see what locals do to chill out

Herceg Novi Old Town is very nice with plenty of great historic buildings and architecture. The town has two old forts and a Citadel. They call it the City of 100,000 Steps and it does have a lot so wear good shoes!!

Lovely small Medieval old town. Not too touristy but it is very hilly and the paths can be slippy and uneven with lots of steps. Well worth a visit though. Explore the little side streets.

Absolutely lovely historic town. So peaceful and quaint. However, if you have difficulty navigating stairs, you should be aware that this is truly the "town of steps."

Beautiful. People are friendly. Food is excellent. Especially Sea food. There are steps to access different parts of the Town, so bring comfy shoes for walking around in.

A wonderful place to walk around and relax in the bars and cafes. Views from the top are breath taking and has you walk bown the steps through the allays and cobbled road's, it so delightful. Recommend the the restaurant in the square, (Kafana Pizzeria ) surprisingly prices are very reasonable for the location on drinks and food. Food is amazingly fresh and portions size you can share with two peploe, if you are on a budget. If you walk all the way down to the harbour, you can see great boats and cruise ships coming in and out of the port. Again lots of little bars and cafe to sit and see the world go by.

Free for pedestrians and bikes. Never saw how much for cars etc. You stop in the lanes, get out, buy ticket at kiosk, get back in, hand ticket over and drive on. Fast slick operation, very well done. Takes about 10 minutes to cross.

Quick service, reasonable price, no wait was needed, in high season. There were 5 ships serving the strait, so it goes really quickly.

Fast and reliant way to get across the bay. Price for one way is €5. Staff is okay and will help you navigate to embark and disembark from the ferry. There are dolphins in the bay so keep your eyes open especially early in the morning. The only thing that needs to be improved is the ticket booth. It’s not convenient to get out the car and stop the flow of the oncoming line. It would be way better to make a drive through booth or a dispensary ramp of some sort. Other than that - a very nice experience.

It's quick and fun; it runs almost back to back all day and I heard from midnight to 6am it's every hour or you can do the drive around the day which makes 45 minutes if you stick to the 50km speed limit which is advisable because it's windy and many people drive a bit fast some times.

Quick, easy and low cost way to go at the other side of bay, good organization, easy way to pay, it’s only 5€ by car only! At the other side o’if you turn left you go to the road it is inside the bay, right next to water, it’s a smaller in the size, but with beautiful view. If you turn right it is a big and quick road. At the end, these two roads comes in one same road.

Very good ferry, €5 per car. You have to get out of your car and walk to the kiosk for your ticket. They're very fast and efficient. Ferry is 24/7 however the amount of ferries in use at night are reduced

This is a pretty convenient way of getting across the bay. But there are a few things I would like to point out. First of all, sometimes, there can be a long line to board the ferry, and you will have to wait until you board it. Second of all, the prices are ok but some might find them a bit expensive. For a regular sized car, you can expect to pay around 5€. Many people also keep their cars running the whole time. Thus, the air is pretty poluted on the ferry. Other than that, it offers a unique and fun ride and is a lot faster than driving all the way around the bay. So it does the job done.

We used the ferry when coming from Herceg Novi going to Tivat. We got straight on the ferry without a wait, and the crossing took 9 minutes. It was a fun experience that cost just €5 and saved a much longer drive.

Savina Monastery - with an old cemetery nearby and great views around

Everyone coming to Herceg Novi should visit this monastery, jewel of the city. Free parking is available but there is a suggested limit of 3h for visitors. Monastery has an awesome store with wines and rakia they produce. Visitors will experience stunning views from the upper levels of the property. There are old picnic tables and benches from stone on the left outside from the main gate. Monastery is opened for visitors every day from sunrise until sunset but the store closes at 18h during summer, 14h during winter and 12h on Sundays. Dress modestly, leave your pets at home and don't meka noise.

Fortress that is located at the entrance of the Boka Bay. It was built at the mid 19 th century from the Austro-Hungarians. At first it was used as a protection to control the entrance of the Bay. During the WW1 and WW2 it was used as a prison where horrible crimes and torture of the local people happened. Today it represents monument that is not protected on a proper way. Still it is very attractive and visited place. A couple of years ago horror movie was filmed in this location.

Amazing fort, I visited twice before it was restored. Restoration as a hotel is controversial, but the pictures show that the quality of workmanship is amazing.

Located in the entrance of the bay Mamula Hotel is a unique piece of beauty. Old fortress fully restored having most beautiful sunset and sunrise you can imagine. Offering unique food and beverage experience fully organic and fresh that can trigger your imagination. Nothing similar exists on the Adriatic coast and probably in the world. Historical gallery and holistic Spa, Fine Dinning restaurant and Mixology bar....you name it. Pretty expensive but if you decided to spend your money for great vacation don't miss Mamula.

From what I read, the island has been sold on a long term lease to a Swiss hotel company and is inaccessible to the public. The location will be converted into a 5 star hotel, completely out of the economical reach of most citizens and residents. This is very disappointing and seems to represent a wider 'gentrification' and 'privatisation' of coastal Montenegro by the authorities at the expense of maintaining important sites of national historical significance. It's disappointing, short sighted and will have a negative impact on tourism.
