Just beautiful!! Ideal place for bird watching. Awesome to see the seals including a baby seal(calf) come ashore. The chalk cliffs. Thoroughly enjoyable I'd love to visit again when the puffins are nesting. Definitely a must if you enjoy nature.

Well worth finding and paying the entrance fee. I thought this might have been a boring walk along some Cliffs but....wow! Fantastic ! Some real pros up there and some helpful volunteers around giving personally valuable information including up to date of the current mainly successful situation with the various species families in abundance and very easy to see via the various platform arrangements they have constructed. We even saw a most beautiful barn owl hovering over the fields behind the Cliffs. Basic sarnies and cakes etc available in visitors centre shop and ultra slow Frake coffee machines. Just don't be in a rush and you will enjoy as we did.

I got here around 5.30 pm. The car park was empty, not surprised though, as it was foggy and visibility was low. The shop and cafe were closed. I walked to the viewing points on the cliff edge, stopping to have a few Blackberries on the way. Paths were all well signed to the various points. The views, at least what I saw, were amazing due to the fog. Sounds from the birds' nesting were mixed with crashing waves on the rocks below. I would definitely recommend visiting here even on a foggy day such as this.

Beautiful place with the best views ever! Got to see dolphins swimming in the sea! Birds that I never knew even existed! Wonderful place for long walks too! Highly recommend

Bempton Cliffs is a fantastic place to visit. There are so many species of seabirds here. If you enjoy bird watching, photographing birds, or just walking the cliff tops... this place has it all. I'll definitely be visiting again. My highlights were the Puffins and the amazing Gannets.

First time visit for us and I have to say we had a great day watching the Gannets,Kitty wakes,Razorbills & Puffins (and lots more). The staff at the visitor centre were very helpful and, the paths were good and the viewpoints were great and well spread out.

Awesome place to see birds nesting and flying out to sea and back to the cliffs. Loved the Puffins especially, they were so much smaller V than I imagined. Lovely Cafe too. A great day out and you don’t have to pay though you can donate.

The RSPB have created a very welcoming and inclusive site for everyone, from avid birds watchers to summer family visitors. Super helpful and friendly staff were outside to meet visitors, explain the site and process entry payments. Also inside the visit centre were more staff at a till. Children are catered for with activity tasks and a very good quality pack of booklets and wildlife information. The main attraction was of course the nesting birds. We went on the 8th of August, so all the Puffins had gone and Gannets moved in to fill the cliff side nesting spots. Sea birds soared up from the sea, along the cliffs and very close to the many observation decks. The whole site is set up to an excellent standard, with plenty of room for everyone to stand watching birds. Most viewing platforms also had an RSPB volunteer in uniform to point things out and answer questions. A fantastic morning, we really could have stayed all day.

Such a lovely day out, parking was easy and free (which was a nice surprise). The visitors center had all the amenities you needed including a cafe, gift shop, toilet, and somewhere to fill water bottles. The cliffs are accessible to all ages and abilities, with view platforms set out for perfect birdwatching. On hot days definitely bring some water with you, as it is a good little walk out to the cliffs from the visitors centre. Was very pleased to see puffins, the gannet colony, and a host of other sea bird while we were there

There is a charge to enter the site, but that's fair enough as it helps support the work of the RSPB. The views of the cliffs are wonderful, and you are pretty much guaranteed to get great views of the birds, especially during nesting time. We had missed the puffins, but gannets were there in profusion, so we weren't disappointed.

It wasn't the best day for me to make my first visit to the cliffs, but I mustn't complain. The wind was blowing a hoolie, but I was escorted most of the way by one of the volunteers a chap called Richard who was amazing at spotting birds, so I did get some pics and nice sightings. Beautiful place to spend a day, and I will be back for definite when more birds are down.

Absolutely love it along here. Beautiful piece of coastline. Saw dolphins and puffins and lots of gannets and other seabirds. Friendly staff and volunteers. Mostly reasonably priced food in the cafe. Some items slightly high. Would recommend wearing good footwear. Was extremely muddy in April! Wellies or sturdy walking boots recommended! Look forward to coming back many more times in the future for more puffins and wildlife!

the walks here are beautiful. The Amount of birds you see with the naked eye is brilliant. The RSPB team are Brilliant. A misshap with one person heading in the wrong direction on a walk. They showed me where I was and where I needed to get to, to retrieve lost person. Clear directions they were brilliant! Calmed me down. Held the dogs lead while I found where I was and got myself calm. Thankyou so much! We pay monthly RSPB and love popping here when we are down this way.

Great RSPB site! A lot of viewing platforms and nice walking paths. It was great to see so many sea birds, including puffins! The cafe could offer more food options though.

Breathtaking to see nature in its splendour. A great place to visit regardless of your knowledge of ornithology. It can get busy but there’s a decent size car park and over spill. There’s events throughout the year and you can even hire mobility scooters. Well worth a visit!

If you love birds watching especially puffins, here is where you wish to be! Visit in June and early July on a sunny day so you can enjoy a nice walk, birds singing and have a picnic! Picturesque and fantastic place! Visiting is a must! :)

This place is rather exceptional. It was busy, even on a week day, so get their early. The whole place is well laid out with various viewing platforms along the cliffs. This IS the place to see seabirds nesting and flying. Can't recommended it enough, even if birds aren't really your thing. Just to note, there's no birds hear in the non nesting season.

Had a lovely few hours enjoying the Bempton Cliffs. Well presented, and lots to see. Staff were very knowledgeable and kind. Coffee shop offered great coffee, sandwiches and cakes. What was refreshingly surprising was that for a significant part of the reserve, they had a path suitable for wheelchair users. This opens up such an opportunity for those less able, and they should be commended for getting it together! Altogether a lovely day in a beautiful part of the world!

A truly stunning area of beauty with breathtaking views. The Autumn wildlife is abundant here, I can only imagine the abundance in the Summer. Large modern visitors centre which houses toilets, a gift shop and a cafe. Two carparks (main and overflow). I recommend getting here early to avoid parking difficulties. I don't really recommend bringing young children, as there isn't much here for them to do, unless they appreciate views and long walks. Parts of pathways are very near to the cliffs and not all are fenced off, so if you do bring children, please be safe and keep a very close eye on them. Fantastic site for wildlife photographers.

Stunning natural cliff face, good but short walk and lots of bird life and sea life (if you lucky), Cafe and shop is very welcome, awesome scones and enough sweet treats to sink a ship!.. Good parking,

A really nice place to visit.there Are some very nice view points along the cliff tops. And a very nice cafe there wear you can buy hot drinks and food. Free car parking but there is an entry cost or donation scheme to rspb.there is also a small shop on site as well.

Very well kept grounds, well maintained barriers, I'd your are a RSPB memeber there is not entry fee, the staff at the main entrance are very helpful and knowledgeable, lovely cafe and gift shop. Beautiful views, unfortunately no luck spotting a Puffin this trip... but we were abit early for them.

The volunteer was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and incredibly informative. It was nice to get such a warm welcome. We had sandwiches, tea and cake in the cafe and it was super. The toilets were very clean. The reserve itself is a truly magical place. We visited in winter and saw the owls flying all around us. Beautiful walks and lots of nature. We will definitely be back!

A lovely cliff walk to the centre. Plenty of staged areas to watch the birds. Cafe has inside and outside seating. Dogs on leads are made welcome. We'll stocked shop. Friendly happy staff.

We Loved our visit to Sewerby Hall & gardens. The little zoo was small but interesting & nice to see spotlessly clean paddocks & well looked after animals( not like another animal park we visited in the area) The house was very interesting,staff were very friendly & informative. We loved the gardens, staff were working very hard doing summer bedding. We took a picnic so could not comment on the cafe. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Amazing value. Great little zoo, brilliant gardens and excellent playgrounds. The cafe is a bit pricey but the food was good . The goats are very friendly and have plenty of space and things to do. The penguins are cute and lots of interesting birds.

Lovely private Manor House overlooking the sea near Bridlington. Not too expensive to get in but also part of the Historic Houses scheme. We got there by walking along the coastal path but you can also get there by car, bus or land train from Bridlington. Good cafe with gluten free options, shop and ice creams. House was really nicely presented and you can have events or weddings there. Also lovely walled garden and estate to wander round with a small zoo.

Lovely trip on the outskirts of Brid. Something different to do than the arcades and Beach. Gorgeous main build that you are aloud to walk around inside and soak up all the history and memorabilia of the past. Enjoyed the interactive experiences offered through the hall. Lovely mini zoo with plenty of active animals to see throughout the day.

Great day out, play area for kids, activities inside the house for kids also which I feel is rare for such attractions, small zoo with birds, lemurs, goats, penguins and more. Worth seeing penguin feeding time. Free car park, decent cafe serving good food & drinks.

Georgian Hall with Beautiful Gardens The snowdrops looked amazing as you entered Sewerby Hall. The Hall is fascinating especially the kitchen and servant quarters. The Monkey Puzzle trees in the grounds are some of the tallest in Europe and are an impressive sight. The topiary in the walled garden is spectacular, and the rose garden was full of crocuses and flowering witch Hazel when we visited. The Zoo was a little depressing as there seemed to be a lot of birds in very low cramped aviaries. Although the Zoo is involved in the conservation of rare pheasants.

This is such a brilliant place to visit. It is lovely to have such brilliant staff in the house, dressed in historic costume, bringing history to life. The gardens are beautiful. The animal park is lots of fun. The cafe has good tea and coffee, plus simple food. We always come for a visit when we are in the area.

We enjoyed our recent visit to Sewerby Park with our 2 year old grandson. The East Coast fresh air was very welcome on a very hot June day. The rose garden looked gorgeous and although the bedding plants were work in progress still we loved wandering round the grounds. Our grandson enjoyed the playground and the animals especially the pigs and the talking parrot. He spotted the tortoises and penguins. We took a picnic so cannot comment on the cafe but the ice cream was delicious. Beautiful location.

Great value for money. Nice House with people in costume to talk to. Zoo was fun, walled gardens and pleasure garden lovely to stroll through. Big cafe. The land train going from the estate to the town is very handy if you don't want to drive

This is a lovely place the house is just so nice and the gardens are amazing oh and the views from the house and the gardens out to sea are just beautiful. Make sure you also make time to visit the zoo there its only small but its so good.

This is a very relaxing place to spend some time. The house wasn't open on our weekday Visit (only open weekends). The grounds are ideal for walking around with no hills and very few steps (only at the entrance to the hall) and the toilets are very clean and include a disabled/baby change facility. Getting into the zoo you need to get a token from the information office. The zoo is easy to get around with a clear paved path throughout. A wonderful collection of birds greats you at the entrance, including a very chatty parrot. Definitely worth a visit and you can spend as little or as much time that you want here. Parking is FREE and a land train runs down to Bridlington Town centre.

Beautiful old house and a very cheap entry fee. The downstairs is a nice look into how the house would have been in its hayday, upstairs is more of an exhibition space but very interesting. Also visited the zoo, mostly caged birds. The grounds and gardens are lovely to walk around and has the bonus of a great view over the sea. Would recommend taking a packed lunch as the service in the cafe is very slow, we waited 40 minutes for a toasted teacake.

We visited in February half term so wasn't quite in full swing. It was a bit confusing as to where the entrance is and where you pay to get in. It's at the side of the big house next to the cafe. We paid just over 10 pound for two adults and a 5 year old which is really good value. The coffee in the cafe was nice and the food looked a bit basic. It would be even better on a summer's day with a picnic.

Nice place to visit if you like something different on a day trip to Bridlington instead of the hustle and bustle of the promenade and town centre. Its a nice relaxing place with great views but a more cooler at the north end so worth taking a little jacket if the sun isn't out. The land train stops right outside the entrance. Lots of interesting things inside the house with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The grounds are lovely and very clean, great for a picnic with lots of benches. The zoo is small and kind of average with the penguins being the highlight for us.

Just been today for the first time & had a lovely day. The house & gardens are beautifully kept. Lovely to see The Morgan classic cars all parked in front of the house. Staff lovely and the lovely knowledgeable one in the hut where we walked along cliff tops, on leaving back exit. Enjoyable day!

We spent a lovely day exploring the house and the zoo with a relaxing refreshment stop at the coffee shop. On the day we visited it was drizzling so we didn't make the most of the gardens as we would have on a dry, sunny day. We found the entrance easily following the satnav, parking was plentiful. Entrance to the house, zoo and gardens was £7.00 per adult, which I thought was reasonable. Tickets are purchased at the welcome centre in the courtyard. There was a classical pianist playing in the orangery which was a treat, such a talented man. The coffee shop was great we ordered four drinks and four snacks total £18.95. The zoo is small but interesting, there are set times to watch feeding of some of the animals, we watched the penguins being fed, along with an informative talk from the zoo keeper. All in all its definately good value for money and a full day out. We would visit here again.

Well kept and looked after grounds, nice hour or so to walk the grounds and has access to the cliffs in which you can walk towards Bridlington from. Zoo was around £3 per person, it's no Chester but for the price point a nice little distraction from the grounds and kills a good 30 mins. Parking is free also which Is always a bonus

Visited today as part of our holiday. Unable to check in so popped by. Great place to visit with mich to do. Kids really enjoyed the play areas one being at the from with climbing, swings and themes activities. Then there's the wooden play area which was small but very fun. House was amazing many features architecturally to see and peices to view. Kids enjoyed the easter quiz and learned some history about sewerby hall. Walled gardens were great and can only imagine in full bloom would be gorgous. Animals all looked appropriately housed and happy. Especially enjoyed the coatii and the walk through aviary. Parking appeared plenty and the toilet facility's were spot on. Family of six two adults and kids. All in came to under £60 very happy 😊

Amazing light displays for their festive winter wonderland. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. All the decoration in the house and around the ground were fantastic! Highly recommend going especially with children. We have been before during normal hours, the zoo is really good, the house is very interesting and the grounds/gardens are so well maintained. Tickets are at an affordable price and you could easily spend a good few hours here.

Another favourite place to visit! Beautiful house and grounds and my favourite part is the zoo! Love the penguins and all the other lovely animals! A really pretty and friendly place overall. Woodlands are also a lovely place to walk with the dog too

Absolutely fabulous place for all the family. Spent many happy times at Sewerby Park with my children when they were young. A recent visit with granddaughter confirmed what I had missed for 20 years since our last visit. The house is great. It's a lovely reminder of the areas recent past. Sewerby Hall Gardens and Grounds are brilliant. A nice short stroll for all abilities. The zoo of course is lovely. Well maintained and the animals look happy and clean, a credit to the keeper and staff. Not forgetting the golf and lovely cafe the coffee is lush. The entry cost on line is a bit cheaper, £10 each and we'll worth it. Regardless the low cost it feels like a grand day out. Well done East Riding of Yorkshire Council for keeping this corner of the East Coast going for all these years.

Good price for a bit of history and a petting zoo. The gardens are nice so come summertime they will be great.

Early days at the Garden Tea Room. Sadly the coffee machine broke down just as we were waiting. The manager was very apologetic and we had a pot of tea instead. These things happen. We will be back to try the breakfasts as they looked very nice. There's a few tables inside and more tables outdoors. Disabled access throughout.

Fab little tea room in Sewerby attached to the model village. Really good coffee and all cakes/scones etc were home baked. Covered outdoor seating if you have a pup.

Very nice indeed. Friendly staff. Lovely mocha and toast. Good value for money and a pretty outdoor seating area. I shall return soon.

This place is fab. Went with friends we had visiting, although we live round the corner we've never been. Will definitely be back, the work and attention to detail on the model village incredible, also to add to the experience we loved the 'can you find' puzzle, absolutely suitable for the adults as well.

Nice little seating area, and lovely Mocha, interesting cups and decent size. Mocha (half coffee, half chocolate) is a drink that many places struggle to get right, or they use cheap ingredients, so it's always nice to find a cafe that gets it right. Will certainly visit again.

The best place in Bridlington for cakes scones . All homemade. Breakfast menu very good and great portions and all at fantastic prices. Real suntrap to sit out and enjoy your morning coffee.

I recently visited Bridlington wildlife park and had a wonderful time. The park was well-maintained and the animals were all well cared for. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the variety of animals was impressive. I particularly enjoyed the bird display, which was really interesting. There were also plenty of activities for children, including a min a play area. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out.

A hidden treasure. Went to the Animal Park a couple of weekends ago. What a fantastic find for those with kids and for those without! Plenty of animals to see and feed, also a brilliant bird show as well! Staff are friendly, nice facilities and well priced ice cream in the shop!

A great animal park, with a variety of animals to look at. What we really really enjoyed were the animal activities that they have here. Feeding the camel's is great fun, petting the guinea pigs too, and the flying demonstration with the owl's is fantastic. What also sets it apart is the fact you can always pet the tortoises and the peacocks are allowed to wander about all through the park. I would recommend the park to anyone with young kids/grandkids.

What an amazing day out we've just had. Paul and his team are so knowledgeable and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The children ( age 7, 13 & 14 ) all loved it, from feeding the Raccoons and petting the Skunks to watching the birds dance to Radio Gaga by Queen. The range of animals is fantastic and it's so much more personal and close up than other similar zoos and at around £35 for a family of 5 it represents excellent value for money, and with fingers crossed Otters, Sloths and much more due to arrive in coming months we will definitely be back before long !

A great experience for all. Whether it’s a first date or a family outing it suits everyone. Plenty of different animals from goats and camels, all the way to wallabies and an eagle! There is plenty on show, especially with some shows on at different times. A well kept and maintained place with a nice shop, play area and sanitising areas, definitely a must do!

Large car park , nice cafe and discount shop on site. A lovely collection of animals and staff were so friendly. We was encouraged to meet the animals and feed them. Enjoyable afternoon out.

A hidden Gem! Entry fees are reasonably priced and bags of feed are only 70p, Lots of little activities throughout the day like the bird shows, guinea pig holding etc.. Very educational for children! Staff have lots of knowledge about the different animals, they are helpful and lovely. Overall brilliant family day out!

Absolutely amazing experience. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting here. The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable too. Everything from the meerkat experience to walking around to seeing the bird show, was just spectacular. I recommend this pace for a family/group/or even solo visit

Great Afternoon, brilliant selection of animals, being able to get so close was a particular bonus. Feeding the Alpaca and Goats was great. Lots to see but what really made the visit memorable was the friendly staff who happily shared stories about the well loved creatures. Thank you will definitely be back.

Wow, affordable, beautiful and most of all the animals are clearly loved and looked after. The staff are all so friendly and informative. Recommend this place anytime of the year! I took a 3 and 9 year old and both loved it.

Amazing place, friendly staff and great animals for everyone to see. The bird show was brilliant the raven was the funniest. Definitely recommend for families to attend. We only thought we would be an hour but ended up staying for almost 3! Michelle and Paul were very welcoming and polite. The animals are very well caref for with some interesting species! Highly recommended

I bought the Meerkat experience for me and my girlfriend through Groupon which gets you entry to the Park too and it was amazing by far one of the best things I've done this year. The 30 minute experience was brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone even at full price let alone the very cheap offer through Groupon. The selection of animals is nice and varied, some animals you can hand feed and also we caught the Bird show which was brilliant. I can't recommend it enough, the whole day was perfect.

Slightly disappointing, we got there and majority of the animals weren’t there due to flooding, of course this isn’t their fault and they did discount the price however I think this information should have been on the website as we may not have made the journey there if we knew 50% of the animals weren’t available to see. The cages for the animals are absolutely tiny and the animals looked sad it was quite sad to see to be honest, the animals just pacing up and down the tiny square cages. A disappointing visit overall but we did get to hold a slink which made it worth the ticket price so that’s the reason for 3 stars and not 1.

This place is definitely the type of place that ‘it is what you make it’. People say it’s small however I’ve been to smaller, the grounds are actually quite big and maybe people don’t realise there’s the whole field at the back with the larger animals. Yes it’s had quite a bit of flood and storm damage but they’re trying their hardest and after taking the time to speak to staff they rely on donations to complete these necessary work. This isn’t a big time ‘for profit’ place but I think they do extremely well given that. If more people attended and more people know about it then it would be a really fantastic place. My advice would be to spend the time talking to staff, they know the animals really well and you might be lucky enough to get up close and personal with some of the animals!

Great day out for the kids, although it was a tad muddy, nice little cafe attached to the grounds too. The kids had a great time chatting to the parrots 🦜.

A great place to go and enjoy the variety of animals on show at this place. The staff are friendly and the grounds are easy to navigate. Some areas are on grass. Great value for money. Although the park doesn't have a cafe you can ho out yo the cafe next door for food and drink and return to the park.

Nice old school inn. Stayed here in August during the heat wave. Nice large carpark around the back, with cameras for security. All the staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, tea/coffee facilities and a comfy bed and a clean bathroom with walk in shower. Only small negative was room was really warm but we knew there was no air con when we booked. There is also a bar and steak house, both with friendly staff running them. Steaks were beautifully cooked and the extras that came with them were lovely. While waiting to be seated in the restaurant there is a nice seating area outside to enjoy a drink, but plenty of seating inside to. A really nice place to stay and we will hopefully be back.

Just had a meal with the family and it was absolutely fabulous. All clean plates, staff friendly and welcoming. Meals were the best I've had in a long while, its a must if live in Bridlington or just visiting. We'll worth a visit and you will not be disappointed.

Visited the restaurant for a birthday meal. From arriving we were greeted with a very warm welcome. We were shown to a table in the bar and given menu's- at no time did we feel rushed. We ordered our meal and were shown to the table in the restaurant. The restaurant is exceptionally laid out. When the food arrived, we found that the food quality was second to none. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the portions were ample, and anything we needed was brought quickly to the table, and the staff ensured our glasses were always topped up! Simply cannot fault the experience, staff or food one bit. Looking forward to the next visit already :-)

Spacious room: Very clean and decor smart. Staff friendly and helpful before and on checking in. Breakfast room not obvious and no one to ask but stumbled upon it. No obvious menu or juice/cereals to choose from but the waitress listed the cooked breakfast for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast cooked beautifully and offered more toast and cereal afterwards. Relaxed about checking out.

We didn't stop here but took my Dad for his birthday lunch. 5 of us had a lovely Sunday dinner. It's freshly redecorated and clean. Food was lovely but not everything was ready (roast potatoes) and the portions could have been slightly bigger. However, the chap hosting was kind and professional. I would happily go back. Perhaps on a week day as they have an extensive steak menu.
