Beautiful beach, also hunt for culinary espesialy "rujak natsepa". Theres many kios about more than 50 for selling rujak natsepa beside beach.

What a beautiful beach! The wave was so calm, the sand is white and soft. We can swim, ride banana boat or simply enjoy the scenery. The ticket is cheap, only 2000 rupiahs. However, sadly, little bit dirty.

I've never been here before. But I always pass by this place. Looks very good, lots of rujak (Foods made from fruits and using peanut sauce you can add 🌶️ for make it spicy) sellers. And there is also fresh coconut that can be drunk directly from the fruit. The scenery is also no less interesting because you immediately see a beautiful beach. This is a very memorable place for me personally and the best beach I have ever seen... The calmness and the peacefulness of the water make you want to come back here again. No trace of sand on your swimsuit or even when you just wear a tshirt and shorts you will come out clean from the water. I can stay in the water for hours and never get bored. I love this beach as much as I love Ambon.

I came on the weekend, therefore lot of people at the beach, which is fine. But even though the facilities quiete OK, you still can find trash scattered everywhere. The rujak is OK, but not that special in terms of the varieties of the fruits and the taste.

A beautiful place to wait for the sunset. Be prepared for stairs and cliffs, so make sure to wear comfortable outfit and footwear. There are some stalls that sell coconut and snacks along the way. The only unfortunate thing is that there are no clean toilets and the surroundings is still underdeveloped.

A hidden gem tucked away from the city centre, it is an awesome part of Ambon that explains the name of the place, Pintu Kota Beach, which means the Door to the City Beach. Nature has its way to take shape of awesomeness.

Such a beautiful place, easy access, 3 tenant that sells food, fries, fresh coconut to souvenir. 2 access to go down, First access end up right to the ocean, second access by the paved stairs end up at the coast. Theres also small cottage for rent if you wanna stay little longer, it comes with very affordable price. Pretty crowd during weekend.

This is a must visit spot while enjoying Ambon island. The Pintu Kota beach is bassically a cliff with hole in between. You can go to the hole while swimming in the clear water. Be aware that in this location there is no white sands, only rocks and stones. You have to go to another location nearby to experience the white sands. I went there for sunset hunting and it was pretty amazing. Another experience you can get from this place is waiting children jump from the cliff to the water.

Unique reef, great spot to take pictures, not to far from downtown Ambon city. Not recommended to take swim or play. A lot of 'warung' that sell fried snacks and coconut water. The public facilities are not well maintained, shame.

The view is wonderful here. It's a good spot for taking pictures and have a coconut drink. However, to get to this spot, you need to go down many steps to get there. So prepare your strength, it's pretty steep.

It's called pintu kota or the gate of city

This place is good for solo traveler, family or group of people who want to have good time at the beach, swim, or ride a banana boat. You can also have “rujak” and different kinds of local snacks.

Typical beach for families vacation with one wooden bridge. Clean water, large area, delicious foods, well preserved sea ecosystem, good facilities and cheap entrance ticket made this beach one of the bests in Maluku. The place is heartwarming so does the people. Banana boat and the other water sport are also able to be enjoyed here. Not too far from the city center and the trip will be enjoyable.

Very nice color gradation sea water with white sandy beach. Beach activity like jet ski, banana boat, semang boat. Lots of traditional foods ie fried breadfruit, fried banana, cannary nuts, and coconut water. Rujak and coconut milk ice cream.

Came here when I was in Ambon, the gong surely attract tourist. Had to pay Rp. 5.000 to enter the building. For a monument like this, the facility are okay, it has toilet and a spot to just sit down and chill. Be careful if you come here after rain down because the stairs are gonna be slippery due to the choice of the surface's material.

This place is a historical monument for the local people of Ambon. There's a coffeeshop and eateries behind the monument. Recommended.

We paid Rp. 5,000 to get into the park area to see this World Peace Gong. Not sure why. It is a big gong that was built after the religious conflicts to symbolise peace in the area. t is close to the town centre and easily accessible as there are traffic lights with pedestrian access close by. You still have to be careful crossing the road. The gong is lighted at night, which is great for photos, but that is about it. Nobody was there the first time I visited and only a couple were there the second time. The lack of interest is not a reflection of the gong itself but rather the poor tourist numbers evident in Ambon. Nevertheless, this is still a must-see given the story behind it.

This monument is build in the nice park right in the center of Ambon. It remind us how bad the impact of religion conflict in Ambon and how they recover. Satu Darah Maluku

I've never been in. But people said if you want to enter there's a fee. Around IDR 5000 for one person. I don't know what else to comment. But that places looks clean and well maintained.

The most Historical place in ambon to remind us about religion based conflict. We should pay 5 k to entrance. I think this place can be so much better if there are information about the purpose and histort of ambonese.

Great historical monument that is located in the center of Ambon. You have to pay IDR 5K/person as ticket. Near to lapangan merdeka and patung pattimura. Dont forget to take a pict because this is one of the iconic place in Ambon.

There is ticket for entering this place. Rp. 5000,- There is few photographs of Ambon’s riots history beneath the gong. Ask the ticket guy for the key to this place. I spent 10 min for this place.

jembatan merah putih ambon the iconic landscape in ambon island, you have to get off from your vehicle to take a beautifull picture in this site Bridge Construction began in 17 July 2011 and inaugurated in 4 April 2016 by Indonesian President, the bridge was meant to cut travel time beetween pattimura airport in the north and downtown ambon city in south, previously, before the construction and completon of Merah Putih bridge, distance of Airport to Ambon city was 35 kilos, must taken approximately for 60 minutes drive around the Bay of Ambon and not including jamm time

The place is beautiful, there's amazing views and so on but it can be very dangerous and can cause accidents

My Ambonese Friend told me that the name of this bridge means unity of diversity of Ambon People. I'm very happy to watch the people there are living in peace now.

The mall really needs help, second floor urgency renovation, attract more investor or shop or moreover food stalls...It actially has big area but abandoned....

Actually it's a good place to look for the things you need at home such as electric/electronics and other stuff that are mainly used in common at your house. But for me, stuff that I need could be found at other stores in town so if you want something valuable for you all at once, then it's the right place to go even more than that, you can entertain your self by just walking and seeing the whole area that for me it's interesting and fun. Almost I forget to mention that you can see the movie in XXI Studio as they all in one area and close enough from the main shopping area. Unfortunately 😔 I can't post the picture that I want to take because it's prohibited in there. First, I didn't know that so I walked around and took a few photos to upload later but suddenly I heard the voice : Sir...! Don't do that...! and then an officer (security & team) stopped by and told me about some reason and rules they apply it there. So then I continue my shopping activity without taking pictures 🤨 Other things that could be useful to inform you it's parking. Divided to several areas including the VIP area and cost you IDR.10.000,- (per hour I guess, because I didn't use it) and the regular park that I'm used it cost IDR.2.000,-per hour. Notice that there are many motor bike parks in regular areas so be careful with your stuff such as helmet or others that might be taken with you or you can safely put it in Deopsit/Entrusted Goods at IDR.2000,- per item in same location. The good news is that you can get stuff such as fashion, (sports/trendy, casual) bags, foods, (fast food, groceries etc.) just like other stores/malls only it's more sophisticated/eye catching for many people like me and you too, right...? Last thing that the price, it's not cheap or expensive. Average cost compared to other places, it's definitely depends on your opinion and tasted of goods/stuff you needed. All in all it's exited to visit and shopping there 😅. Ok guys, I must do other things and prepare for tomorrow's activity so, see you next time. Cheers...😉👌

the first mall in the city, the only xx1 cinema located here, nice environment with vast parking space though the tenant is less variety than the other mall

Smaller than i thought. I think because of corona, most of the second floor closed down. Love the fact that theres miniso, matahari, and a cinema here. Not much choice for food though..

This is a dying mall. Not many shops open anymore and the inside feels eery. There are a some good brands there like Hypermart and Optik Melawai. Without the presence if Hypermart I believe this mall will be closed already.

Visited the place on 22 Jan 2022. Many shops were close, there was leaking from the roof on the top floor & not many shops to see other than Hypermart, apple store & Samsung store. They also still have cinema XXI, which were nice but the movie we want to see were not showing here yet.

The only XXI in Ambon located here. They have some tenants like Hypermart, Skechers, Matahari, Samsung, Solaria, etc.

Air conditioning is not good here. Some says it's the management strategy to save electricity consumption costs. Location is great, since it is founded in the middle of Ambon island which allows people from outside the city coming here. Parking lot is adequate, even though it's crowded on rush hours and holidays. The best thing is this place has cinema XXI inside.
