Real beach resort along side of beach. You can enjoy sea, sound of tides, sun rise etc while enjoying tea or coffee in balcony. Rooms are just good. Need maintenance. Just walk to sea enjoy walk, bath, swim,food etc and back to room. They will serve food from outside if called.

Well removed 1 star because to reach the hotel you need to walk 150 MTR from a small lane. The overall experience of the hotel was very good. The staff is very polite and gives fast service which is most important for any guest. Rooms are big enough to give a specious feel. Furniture inside the room is antique furniture specially the dressing table and its chairs and center table . There is a common balcony on 1 St floor and terrace on the 2nd floor to enjoy the sea view directly from the hotel. The breakfast tasted good. On this beach all hotels have the same problem of reaching and parking. To reach parking you need a skilled driver because the slope is huge. The owner is also good and helpful. You get more options for lunch and dinner at sea face hotels which are 50 meters away from the hotel.

This is not clean..... The building itself looks like an old cracked bangalow..... It's not welcoming..... The staff were decent and they tried their best to be hospitable It's good to take a room from the first floor above as you can see the beach and enjoy the waves The air conditioning is maintained well...

What I felt that it was a good hotel for staying once upon a time. Overall location is the main advantage here. However service is very poor. Intercom phone was not working, you can't get any tea or coffee in room, no other dining facilities except breakfast. I think if they care for betterment of the hospitality rating will improve gradually but for now it's two from my side. One extra star for its location.

Good place to enjoy with family and friends, Kovalam beach view from the hotel balcony is amazing, attached restaurant is available only during peak seasons, rest of the days visitors has to depend on other restaurants available on the shore. Furniture and ACs in the room are old, maybe replacement needed. Parking is bit far from the hotel.

Hawah Beach Resort is located exactly in front of Kovalam Beach in Trivandrum, Kerala. The rooms are spacious but not that premium. Some room fans make loud noise, which is ridiculous. There is no elevator in this Hotel so if you get room on 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor you need to carry the languages in own. They have a few manpower for support, so at a time, everyone will not get enough facility. The view from the terrace is awesome. The sea is just approx. 70 meters from the hotel. The food quality is good. The way to Hawah Beach Resort is so narrow, and the vehicle parking is away from the hotel approx. 60 meters. Don't expect much, but one can enjoy it if compromise some points.

Wrong location on google maps. Good place, just on the beach shore and all the market is around. Rooms are just fine but the location on maps is wrong, it’s the parking area from where you’ll have to walk 150 meters to reach the hotel back gate. Also yea there is no elevator so not suitable for people having issue in walking.

Terribly worst resort, dirty and smelly rooms, dirtiest linen, towels etc. No WiFi, curtains are dirty and small in size. I would give a Minus1 (-1) review but Google doesn't allow me to do so. Never ever book this hotel.

Service is very bekar. Waiter there were very rude to us. They don't know how to behave properly.I mean seriously. Manager need to keep a check at the staff.

Excellent place for family stay. Very spacious rooms in 03rd floor. Mr. Steerag was very Customer friendly. Resort just facing the beach. The only issue is No Elevator service.. Overall great experience..

A very good place to relax and chill. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony we could view the see and feel the cool breeze. Location of our room was absolutely perfect. View of the sunset from our room was mesmerizing. And very friendly management and staffs.

Beautiful, peaceful and clean hotel to enjoy your holidays. It has all the facilities that you need. Rooms, bathrooms are clean and spacious with good furniture. They have open sit out at rooftop to relax. The USP is its location. The light house beach is clearly visible from balcony and just 10 steps away from hotel.The tarrif and service is also very good. They have roof top restaurant but only breakfast is available that too on prior order/ intimation. But in surrounding many restaurants are available. Highly recommended for couples and family.

Rooms are just normal. Hospitality is very bad. Water is also chargeable. Location is incorrect. Location is only parking lot from where you have to walk in small lane for 3-5mins. Stuffs are non-cooperative.

Stayed for 2 day, location on beach but room cleaning not provided, ac not working, staff not supportive even you will suffer for water bottles.. pay little more have good beach experience in nearby hotel .

Stayed for 1 night at weekend. Superb location. Met a couple from Rajastan. Nice experience. Will reccomend everyone. Beach access for Morning walk is very nearby. Suggstn: Complementory water bottles should be provided.

One word, terrible, one cannot enter from the main entrance, car has to be left in a parking about 300 meters from the hotel and all the luggage had to be carried till the hotel through extremely narrow shady alleys...dont go by the photo of the entrance, it is misleading. The entire hotel smells of fish curry, one cannot even find the right contact details to contact the hotel before check-in, only two chapri bell boys to manage the hotel, no lift, its a terrible place. When we reached the hotel, we decided not to stay and left just after check-in. Pls do not book.

Yesterday We stayed at hawah beach resort, we have booked this resort from review in Google, the price of the room is 4000/- per day, in fact the price of this room is not even 500/-, the room is completely dirty, there is no any facility of extra towel, or matress ,no house keeping staff, there is fungus on the whole wall in the room, blanket and mattress are used and unhygienic, the staff also has no kind of responsibility , spoon and plate in breakfast are not clean ,in fect nearby hotels have Good facility. And rate is also low, please no one would go to this hotel, we spent the whole night sitting on the beach, in the morning we had to shift to Pappukutty resort next door, we had to leave this room in a very urgent situation. Horrible, pathetic, ....I would give 0 ⭐ if google allow me to give...

It is the one of best beach parks in Trivandrum. The peaceful atmosphere is the main attraction. You should go on the night time. Because night beauty is more beautiful than eveving. A small park for childrens is there . Going with family is more memorable there.😇

Beautiful beach and not very crowded. Sea was a bit rough when we went there so we have to be careful. They have a beach aprk nearby where we can sit and enjoy the beauty. It is decorated with wall arts and is well maintained. Kids have a small park also inside this . Adults can sit and enjoy the scenic beauty from within the park, sunset view is awesome.

A well-maintained park on the beach side. It's not that big. But it's a good place to spend evenings and to watch the sunset. The beauty of the place lies in the stonework that is done in this park. Wall paintings also add to the charm of this park. It's usually crowded during the evening time. Refreshments are available in nearby shops. Ample parking space is available. This place is also good for photo shoots.

Today I went to KOVALAM SAMUDRA PARK owned by SAMUDRA BEACH RESORT (GoK undertaking, KTDC). Location : Near Udaya Samudra Resort and Taj Resort Kovalam Vibe : It's a perfect place for enjoying a nice evening. From Children's play area to Small Beach , the whole park will be a good destination. | Entry is free of cost ! | Description : It has a water fountain with neatly decorated pebbles. And a cafeteria with toilet facilities ( under construction) The mural painting on the wall along with the solar powered light tower makes the park both Aesthetic and Modern. Geography: At first u will see a Banyan Tree in front of the park making the park hard to find. Left side - Children's park with a large turf made ground for children's safety, which is impressive. The walls are studded with mountains climbing steps. The main areas was built like a stage. I Hope after the pandemic, many programmes will be conducted here. Cafeteria comes at the left side of park along side the gateway of SAMUDRA BEACH RESORT. Then there is steps to access the beach, alongside a stone hill too.. View : Excellent view from the top of the Rock hill. You can see the lighthouse from there. Perfect place for photography. Ambience : The yellow lights, the green grass, the grey stone used in pillors and stairs, the pebbled water fountain, the mural paintings on walls along with spot lights and the greenish blue sea in the background makes the place a wonderful host. Parking : Enough space for 4 wheelers and 2 wheeler. Cons : 1) No street light from main road to park 2) No proper Name board on main road find it hard to reach. 3) Beach and the nearby area is very polluted with trash. Distance : 11kms from EastFort Bus stop

I have stayed at this property with my family members and had great time. Delicious vegetarian food, Serene atmosphere and great location. Property is very well maintained. It’s surrounded by mountains and lush green vegetation. Early morning view and sunset view is something I really liked. They do have some fun activities such as chit chat sessions during the evening and bonfire 🔥 at 7 pm. Every staff member is helpful and kind in nature. They treat all their guests with great respect. Great hospitality! If given a chance I will stay here everytime I visit this place. Thank you

A small park that is full of wall arts and is very neatly maintained. It is on the beach and is usually always empty. It is so close to the beach that if the sea is rough, water can easily get to the park.

One of the calmest and a non rush beach in kovalam. The samudra park is an extra point to spent time with family and also to chill out with friends.

Nice place to spend time with family and kids in the evening with the breezy sea winds and night views of the sea. But no proper Boundaries for the sea in the night time as there is no lights too. apart from this many are enjoying the Beautiful and lovely Wall arts. Arts are really beautiful and realistic even in night time... Also there is small playing area for kids and seating for adults. Nice memories with my family.

Dam is beautiful. maybe due to covid very less people's are visiting daily. bike parking 10 rs, entry fee 10 rs ..gardens are not maintaining properly. boat ride was there . govt should focus more on garden, more activities inside dam area like light and sound program, etc..

A good(but not great) place to spend an evening with your family.Well there's nothing much to see and explore view of the dam and the catchment area is spectacular. There's small garden around the areas of the dam but it's not that big. There's is a Ktdc beer parlour and hotel nearby the dam . If you want to stay for an evening you may stay there. Also boating is available. There was lion safari available but now it's closed due to death of the lions.There is also a alligator farm nearby the dam. Apart from that nothing much to see and explore.

One of the best to visit in trivandrum. Opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. Best time to visit is evening. It will give much mesmerizing views of dam, sunset and much more. Very good parking area.

It's a beautiful place to explore the nature. The scenarios are very beautiful as I shared the above pictures, neyyar dam includes lion safari parks which is the 1st lion safari park in Asia but now there is no lion or that park. I think for better tourism reopening of the park is a better solution and include more activities for tourists

Entry ticket ₹15 per head, and offering huge parking outside the entrance it's also included on that 15 bucks , the same is quite old mesmerized with the natural beauty of the surrounding, overall it's a perfect add on place to your main trip.espcialy you can visit as a picnic area. They also offer ( with extra cost) lion Safari (currently no lion is there- 08-02-2024) Boat riding ( 300-500 per pax) And the so-called reserved forest.

This is a must visit place if you are traveling to Trivandrum. This is an attraction for all age groups from kids to senior citizens. The highlights of the place is the sight of the water flowing from the dam structure. The sight and sound of it calms you. There are multiple parks inside which are neatly maintained. There are lawns all over with shady benches to relax and enjoy the nature. The steps take you to the top of the dam. There is a watch tower at the top which gives a great 360 degree view. There is a KTDC restaurant at the top. The service is great and food is good. The rates are nominal. The view is again great from this restaurant. There were lions maintained in a Lion Safari earlier. But these are closed now. Was informed that the lions died of ailments. Cars can be parked safely under shade. You can spend more than half a day here with friends and family enjoying the view of the dam, reservoir, lawns and forests around.

Nice place to visit with family. You will be lucky if the shutters of the dam are open. Around the dam there are dear park, crocodile park, boating and lion safari park(no lions currently ). Check the rate with the staffs there before you do any activity. Could have make this place better.

"A photographic spot" Pleasant to spend a time with family in the evening . If its a rainy climate that's a scenic view for everyone💚💙 There is a wildlife boating adjacent to it..we where taken to the wildlife park by boat . While looking from boat the wildlife park which is surrounded by water seems like a mini islands.. kids will enjoy it..worth it. Parking facilities,shops for water and snacks are available.. There is a swimming pool available inside for a hourly price.

A beautiful trip suitable for a family atmosphere, the place is a dam and a beautiful water body, it is possible to use the boat to move to the place of the wildlife reserve, there you will see elephants, crocodiles and deer, and then return again with the same boat. The trip using the boat back and forth with the tour inside the reserve (accompanied by a guide) may take an hour to an hour and a half until the return

It was a good space for walking and just let the time pass. I wish it was maintained though, coz there were garbage in the garden near the cottages. Went here around 5pm and the view was nice. I didn't see any restaurant nearby.

Larger dam with a larger fountain. They don't use this fountain area wisely for tourists. A scenic view and good option for a couple on weekdays.parking fee car 25 per head 10 and bike i think 15. Lots of areas.

This dam offers an absolutely breathtaking view. You can either park your car and climb up or drive up. I'm told it's quite the climb, so be ready for that commitment if you were to climb up. They have various boat and speed boat rides. The ride was nice and offered amazing view. There's also a building structure on the top which you can climb on to of (like a lighthouse) and enjoy the view up top. There's a small entry fee and the rides are decently priced. A little further away is an elephant training camp, deer park etc. The elephant camp has "kotta vanji" or coracle boat ride, which seemed more appealing as there wouldn't be the noise from the motor in the street boat, we did not try this though. There's a milma ice cream place for an ice cream break.

The enormous structure of the dam will leave you in awe. The parks adjacent to it provides a peaceful experience. The best part that I liked was the various kinds of boating. Out if which my favorite was wildlife boating where we were taken through the twists and turns of the water to the "wildlife preservation centre" which is a nature retreat in itself and one worth visiting. You can bring your family or friends and have a nice day here within a budget. Also there's a swimming pool if you're interested

Good place to visit. Timing 9 am to 6 pm Entry for adults 10 rs only Parking- four wheeler - 25 rs . Please maintain liquid money. Gpay option is not available and there is no ATM nearby. A canteen is available in front of the gate . KSRTC bus services are also available to visit the Dam.

Great place to have time with family, friends, kids of school/coll. Great views. Public not helping cleanliness. Authorities should put more effort into making the park better. Couldnt figure out where the aquarium was. Couldnt visit ktdc restaurant.

Today we have visited this place. Very very nice place and must visit once especially the two hours boating trip. It's a marvelous journey.

A calm, scenic place, with a beautiful dam – a view that’s especially inviting for a camera if the skies are clear and the dam shutters are open. Once in, there is quite a bit to do here. We went for a boating – just the 5 of us in a boat meant for more folks – with stops at the Deer Park and the Crocodile Rehabilitation and Research Centre. The Lion Safari was not open at that point since a few of the lionesses were undergoing medical support. The view from the watch tower is absolutely breath-taking if you're game to climb up all those stairs. A lovely half- to full-day trip from Thiruvananthapuram city.

The Lions are dead so safari is not happening. Boat ride and staff are good. 3 people speed boat ₹750+ 15 per head for so called reserve forest. Entry not allowed but they collect anyway. Climb to the top from down is not for the weak or elderly #750 for 20 minutes boat ride in safari boat for 6 people 30 minutes for ₹1100. These also ₹15 / person for entry to reserve they charge.

The neyyar dam looks beautiful but not clean they have to improve the facilities Their toilets are not clean inside and the dam area is not cleaned properly. At the top of there is a small tower where we get beautiful views from there. In the top of the dam outside the dam get another ticket for boating,deer park visit and crocodile 🐊 park visit . Now they don't have lions Safari. Overall it is average

Vellayani Lake, or Vellayani Kayal is one of the largest lake in Trivandrum. You can see an awesome view of fresh water lake and its surrounding. You can visit here and enjoy the natural beauty and sunset. when i ask to people they said the sunset in here was beautiful. But unfortunately i don't have the luck to see the sunset. But the nature beauty was amazing....must take a boating at morning or evening...

Great place to spend weekends. Ig you're coming here for fishing, you'll most probably go back home disappointed. Come here, get some fresh air, enjoy the serenity. That's all about this place.

One of the best place in trivandrum to experience the evening vibe and sunset. You can see the the view from main road itself, but you can also walk to to the side roads to experience the complete beauty of this place. You can buy fresh fish also from here. Currently boating is not available. You can either come to this place though your own vehicle or public transport like KSRTC bus. There is no dedicated parking space but you can park your vehicles near to this site. Safe swimming spaces are there in the lake. I think government can make this place as a main tourist attraction in Trivandrum, by providing public toilets and parking kind of facilities.

Beautiful to spend some quiet time by, in the evening, the public is although allowed only at the lake side way before the agricultural college.
