Nice central park in the middle of Dushanbe not far from the Ismoli Somoni monument. There's also a statue of the poet Rudaki within the park.

Great park, calm and quiet. There's a lot of roses so the air smells like roses too. Fountains start working closer to 5PM and illuminated with dawn.

A quiet and superb park in a beautiful street. We loved walking through the park and had an evening of relaxation.

I spent 2.5 hours in the company of a male guide for the first floor exhibition and female guide for the other floors. They knew their subject matter well (but were less good at fielding unscripted questions) and spoke perfect English. It was a great way to see the highlights of the museum and understand Tajikistan better before starting my tour of this country. Sadly, you have to go to the British Museum to see the Oxus Treasure.

Typical museum conceived to foster national pride and, I assume, accommodate visits by schoolchildren. Displays of varying quality, from the compelling to the kitsch. I much preferred the museum of antiquities here in Dushambe. It still deserves a look, in case you have visited the latter and wish to admire more of the region's history and archaeological finds.

It's ok museum, -1 floor is a bit dull since it is rocks, stuffed animals and photos. The second and third floors are good they tell history of this land from stone age era to current time with a lot exhibits. 4th floor is art gallery, so if you like it it's cool and interesting.

Just visited yesterday. Wonderful place. You need to pay 5 Simoni to enter, but it’s worth it! There is an exhibition dedicated to Tajik embroidery now. Ticket was a little expensive for foreigners. You can find really astonishing historical finding here. Even the gifts given to president were really great works. Here also you can find local canteen and the food really yummy and relatively cheap.

Nice place with great value to the international travellers. However, as a non-national, I would recommend to use translation-devices or online dictionaries to speak with the staff here. I was unable to have a single communication with them. But yeah, they are always with a smile ☺. That makes the place perfect 👌.

In each season it's so special. I like in the fall and winter seasons. Picnics, weeding ceremonies, youths/kids events, are usually popular. The place is nice for sports like running, riding horses or just for meditation.
