Key West

You won't find anything quite like Key West. The southernmost city in the continental United States, Key West is a tropical paradise where palm trees sway over gorgeous beaches, quaint shops line the streets and historic old homes still stand. Sip a cocktail at a local bar, people-watch from the porch of a classic hotel, savor the island's famous conch fritters — and that's just the beginning.

Q&A about Key West

If you don’t have locations planned for Virginia yet, I recommend Abingdon! I moved here from California a few years ago. It’s small but super cute and has lots of historic buildings and main street is nice to walk around. Lots of good places to eat and cute little shops. Wolf hills coffee is delicious and Abingdon Vineyards is lovely and has great wine! The creeper trail is a nice little nature trail to take a walk on, and there are lots of other great trails not too far from this area. The Barter theater is doing Covid safe drive-in productions which are super cute. It’s also super close to Bristol which straddles the Virginia and Tennessee state line and also has a lot of good food and drinks.

Look into Islamorada or some of the other islands for less touristy stuff
