This museum is not part of the national or state park system. It is a locally-run museum, and admission is only $10 for adults. The exhibits are very well done and informative. It would take almost a whole day to see the whole museum and all it's outdoor buildings. For anyone interested in local history this is a great place to visit.

4th grade field trip with my son was fun here! Volunteer Chuck was very informative and kept the students very in gaged during his presentations at all the exhibits!

Excellent display of the history of the area. They have a great Pioneer Village. It was a pleasant museum to visit.

Had an excellent time with my daughter and her fourth grade class. Anita, our guide (docent), led us through the exhibits and gave us background and context for all of the pieces. Everything was clean, the staff in the gift shop was friendly, and there was a lot to see both inside and out. We appreciated the A/C in the main building and the nicely kept grounds outside. The play structure was fun to have as well (although a little full with so many students).

We were driving and I spotted the open signs. It said they were only open another 30 minutes. I expected it to be a small area we could easily get through. The amazing woman in the gift center worked with us when we realized it was much bigger. Told us all about the Oregon trail program in the summer. We will definitely be back!

Great museum to visit. Will definitely come back for more history. I loved all that I saw inside and out. The staff was so inviting & knowledgeable. They were are also personable to visitors. There is so much here at this museum and surrounding grounds. I have so much more to come back and see/do.

Very informative, lots of things to see. This museum was created by families that lived here to preserve the history so there are a lot of items and photos. My favorites were the prison info, the quilts, and finding my great grandfather's donation stone!

The effort to put activities together for the kids and the ice cream is a plus. It's a weird and different museum, but you can tell the community cares, in general. Great effort and you can learn.

One of my favorite museums in Washington! The people who run it are great! I highly recommend it to visit. They put on many interesting and informative living history presentations throughout the year.

We really wanted to go inside and spend some time inside the museum, unfortunately we've been traveling with our dogs on our quest to visit all of Washington State and the temperature was above 100⁰ so we couldn't leave the dogs in the truck which meant we either took turns to go in or not go at all... we chose the latter and headed back to the picnic area for lunch and get a couple of shots of the artillery equipment. Hope to someday come back without the dogs.

Never been to Walla Walla before until today and this is a really good museum. They had Lewis and Clark reenactors full of information plus lots of really cool stuff to look at and it didn't cost much to get in.

Such a fun park! Many different options for fun for all ages! The ducks are not afraid and will come right up and bug you for food! Be careful of the trees dropping heavy chestnuts (I believe). There is plenty of room for games like catch or frisbee. Sunny areas but plenty of shade and water features!

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Walla Walla and possibly even the Pacific Northwest. It's a special place. There is a lot of history here and the trees are older and much larger than they are in other less recently settled places in Eastern Washington. The early 20th century gazebo adds to the charm. If you can, go in spring and fall for the colors.

Love this park and all the birds! There's also pickleball courts and the dog loves the squirrels. Landscaping is very nice and has beautiful, huge, very old trees.

Pioneer Park is a clean, fun, and expansive Park just outside of downtown with a playground, rentable indoor venue, picnic benches, and plenty of shade from the old growth trees throughout.

Our beautiful local park! Love this place, They go all out for holidays and always a great time here, 4th of July, Christmas, Spring Fling. Always making memories! My son grew up playing in this park!

As parks go, this one is a gem. The trees in this park are absolutely amazing. Cyprus, Oak, Maple, pine. Some of the most impressive specimens I have ever seen. Add to that, pickle ball courts, aviary, walking trails and meticulously maintained grounds. Not many better parks anywhere.

What an incredible park with lots of room to explore. There is a gazebo, play equipment, walking paths, bird watching at the pond, and the aviary. We didn't walk the whole park this day so I know we missed a good part. It's very well maintained and cared for park. Such a nice surprise and experience.

Beautiful park with much to see. Many of the trees are old, and this place has a great energy. The aviary was interesting to see, the pond and everything is well kept. The prosthetic branch (sculpture) was quite the surprise and very well done.

Pioneer Park is the nicest city park I've ever been too without paying a fee, there isn't anything like it in CA. I always mention it to people who visit from out of town it's a great place to relax, get a workout, bird watch, walk your dog, or even hold gatherings. Love it!!

I love this park. My aunt and uncle lived 2 blocks away. It is so beautiful, and well maintained. There are so many things to do for everyone. We have been visiting for 64 years now.

Wine was good, the charcuterie boards were wonderful. Our server outside was fantastic. However, the long hair gal on Saturday, May 21 working the tasting room approximately 12:20 pm greeting people at the door was atrocious. We were a bridal party- on a chauffeured wine tour- and she snapped at us because we stated a last name for the reservation- and when we stated we were with a tour company, her response was “well that’s what you should have said.” When our chauffeur came out to tell us it was time to Leave for the next stop- we went inside to pay our bill- as our server was very busy taking care of multiple parties- the same gal flipped us attitude- and said “You all need to show patience, your server is busy.” Not sure what this gal’s role actually is- but she needs to be upgraded to “unemployed.”

We made an impromptu stop here because it’s the only winery in Walla Walla that has a full-service kitchen. Boy, were we delighted! We should have made a reservation, but they were kind enough to make it work so we could grab lunch. The food was incredible, the wine was perfect, but the best part about it was the service. B (Bethany), the tasting room assistant manager, treated us like royalty and took care of everything we could possibly need. She checked on us often enough, but not too often, accommodated our 3 year old and was super positive and thoughtful. The rest of the staff were very kind, as well. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience and we will absolutely be back to Waterbrook again and again. Can’t wait for the summer when their gorgeous patio (which overlooks an incredible sunset) is warm enough to utilize. We love Waterbrook!

Beautiful location, attentive staff, delicious food, and excellent wine! We began with a charcuterie board with excellent cheeses, fruit, bread, and meats. So beautifully presented. Caprese salad in a generous serving, Ziti Sugo alla Bolognese, followed by Klickers Marionberry Cheesecake, New York style. And red and white wines paired with each course. Absolutely delicious!

Took my parents here for breakfast and wine tour and it was amazing. The area is nice, the food was great, and the wine was amazing. My wife and I got the mimosa flight thinking we would get a few small mimosas, but ended up splitting a full bottle of champagne and had 3 different juices to choose from that were all great. Everyone really enjoyed their food as well!

I had a great experience here. The wine was great and I really appreciate the recommendations the staff was able to give. Sky was a great server and so was the woman who gave me a sample of her favorites of the purple sticky note. One of the wines of the flight was not my favorite so she brought me a different red instead. This place was gorgeous and had a nice path to walk, a bridge and fire pits. I will definitely be back! We went to Waterbrook on a group tour with 25 people. The Events Manager, Bryce, was great to work with and actually waited on our group onsite. We had a private area on the patio with a beautiful setup. Bryce was very knowledgeable with the wines and answered all our questions. They brought out charcuterie boards that were amazing! The lemon cheese was my favorite! The winery dog was super cute and we enjoyed watching him dive for frogs. Our entire group loved the experience and wine!

Tasting experience was great here. There are a number of flights you can choose from, and all the dishes we ordered tasted excellent to be paired with the wine. There’s seating options indoors and outside.

My husband + I came over memorial weekend w our two kids. Biggest bummer was that their fryer was broken and they didn’t seem to be staffed enough to be serving the patio and running the inside. But we had made a reservation online the night before and it automatically blocked out 2 hrs on my calendar and we were in fact there for two hours, so I can’t complain. If you’re looking to be in and out, this may not be the place for you. My husband and I got a flight and we all ordered food. Everything was good and the staff were very friendly, even w us having two younger kids. My 5yo was really into the pond and lawn games, which was mainly why we came. Really pretty place and it worked out well for us.

We sat outside with our dogs and the grounds / atmosphere was great. The wine was really good, the food was really lovely.

Darren was great host to us, kindness and information! Beautiful property if you only have half a day, come to this one with restaurant and tasting all in gorgeous room. Our teenage kids had a nice time too. We ordered Chef's Board $16 and a flight of wine to share . See the wine menu attached.

We had an amazing weekend here! Such a beautiful place and great space for dining and hanging out with friends/family or small corporate event. Loved it!

We stopped at Yellowhawk Tasting Room on vacation to check out the sparkling wine. My friends and I really enjoyed their wine and the location was beautiful. I then decided to bring a travel group of 25 people back to Yellowhawk. We were BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful surroundings, service, food, and wine! We were set up outside under a private tent with a food and wine pairing. Winemaker George-Anne talked to us about each wine and answered all our questions. FANTASTIC experience!

The wine is amazing but the service was the worst I’ve had in a long time! There was almost as many people working as there was people at the winery and still we waited 10 minutes for our first drinks. That wasn’t terrible but then we finished those drinks and sat at our table without drinks for about 20 minutes, watching our waitress walk past us about 6 times without even looking in our direction. I finally got up and chased her down and asked for drinks and an appetizer. I asked for a glass of wine and got a 2 oz taster instead. The appetizer I asked for we never got. When we asked for our check, the charge for the appetizer was on it. We had to ask to have that removed since we never got it. It was an absolutely horrendous experience!! Go there to buy the wine but don’t sit down because you’ll likely get treated like a ghost like us.

Great place and a amazing view of the blues. Food was good. Not a big wine person but the wine was good. Had a couple of cross buck beers to.

We love visiting this beautiful chateau at the top of a hill overlooking the estate vineyards with the mountains in the distance. Their staff in the tasting room is very knowledgeable and helpful, but the wine of course is the best part! We’ve never had anything but yummy wine there. Love the Merriment!!!

As a wedding florist it was such a joy to design at Yellowhawk! Shannon and her team were incredibly kind and made my job a breeze! The load-in and parking situation were ideal and I could not have asked for a better day at the venue. I cannot wait to go back for a tasting soon!

We hosted a brunch for family and friends here. The setting is spectacular, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I worked with the event planner and she made everything so easy.

Food was grease bubbles just ok the 30 to 40 minutes to check out was terrible, was revelers club rewards members that could not be found was a joke & ruined the day, took longer to get the bill & check out than eat a sub par lunch & drink a bottle of bubbles. The steakhouse needs to stop trying to expand an start doing 1 thing great because they are going backwards. Will not be going to there restaurants

Visited once and that was enough. Dined on the patio. It was a beautiful day and lovely scenic spot. Charcuterie board was disappointing as it was presented in a manner that appeared hastily thrown together. The typical mustards, jellies, and dried fruits one would expect was missing. Server was also unfortunately unable to answer almost all of our questions regarding the food menu and sparkling wines offered on the tasting menu. Presentation lacked inspiration. The new ownership of this winery still have a lot to learn/improve on the wine tasting experience, especially in comparison to other wineries nearby. Furthermore, there should be a courtesy to diners to inform them of a standard 20% gratuity when checking into their reservation and not at the time of presenting the bill to the patron. Given the low quality of the service, this was like rubbing salt on a wound. Gratuity at that percentage should always be at the discretion of the diner. Would not recommend dining here unless some serious changes happen.

We stopped by the Yellowhawk resort for lunch and tasting because it was supposed to be very scenic. That is true. It's a very nice setting. Unfortunately, that's where the good news stops. We were directed to a table by the hostess and we then sat there for 20 minutes receiving zero attention from any of the wait staff. I recognize that staffing is a challenge these days but that was not the case here. Staff numbers were more than sufficient. We were given neither lunch nor tasting menus. I finally called to a waiter who came over. He was personable and brought the menus. We selected lunch and two tasting flights - one sparkling and one still. When the flights arrived, two of the wines were not what we had ordered. Had to get that fixed. Didn't mater much. The wines weren't that good. Lunch arrived and the smoked chicken salad was good, the sashimi scallops very good and the french fries limp and soggy. We then went back to the same situation as when we arrived - no attention from any of the wait staff, including our waiter who apparently had decided to simply leave. I asked a server at the next table over if we could get our bill, which was when I was informed that he had left. She said that she noticed we were being ignored (then why didn't you do something about it?) and she would bring over the manager to make it right. The manager arrived and her definition of "Make it right" was to ask whether or not we had been informed of the mandatory 20% service charge. I had not, but considering that we were initially ignored, our waiter had left, the other server felt it appropriate to have you come over, perhaps that could be waived as a gesture of goodwill. No, it could not. While 20% is my base tip amount, the quid pro quo should be some level of competent service. At that point I decided I would not be returning to Yellowhawk. Addendum: The following day while driving back home I received a phone call from the resort. The person had heard of my experience and wanted to know if there was something she could do, such as a free tasting flight. I said the time to address the issue was when were there and since we were on our way home 300 miles away a tasting flight wouldn't be too helpful. She did ask if she could send a bottle of wine but, like I said, I didn't find my tastings very impressive. I expect ours was an isolated experience. Sometimes things go wrong. But when they do, address it at the time, rather than laying the blame at the waiter who left and throwing a Hail Mary the following day.

The grounds are beautiful and I very much enjoyed the sparkling wines. Did not care for the lack of complexity in most other reds I tried. What is unacceptable to me is that after ordering a full case of wine following my tasting, the waitress notified me that they 'don't honor the tasting waiver' if we order wine from them. One of the tackiest moves I've seen a winery pull. All other wineries I have visited in Walla Walla know better. Grounds make for a beautiful spot to visit, but I would definitely not consider this a serious vineyard.

We did not experience any of the negatives mentioned in other reviews. We had good, knowledgeable service and we enjoyed the wine. Some of the better structured wine we tasted this year. The views are very nice and more idyllic than many of the newer places. I would recommend based on this visit.

What a winery! The tasting room has a fantastic view of the surrounding hills and has lots of seating outside in the grass or patio. The tasting lineup was wonderful, a great variety of reds. The people pouring were very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, even when large groups starting rolling in. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed ourselves.

Just a blah experience. Charcuterie board was unacceptable for $25...this picture is how we received the board. We had not touched it yet. Basically, it was one of those adult lunchables straight from the package (I saw the lady toss the package in the trash). First time we came here in 9/2021, we fell in love w the winery and became members...even with the unfriendly service. We assumed it was a one off...visited the winery yesterday and had the exact same experience with the lady. It feels like you're bothering her if you ask questions.

This was our fourth visit to the tasting room We thought we would give Wally Walla Vintners another try (since we really like their wine) and our tasting room experience was wonderful. Dakota met us coming in and seated us at a very comfortable table outside. She was friendly and very knowledgeable, the scenery was beautiful and the wine was excellent. Everything was perfect so I restarted my Wine Club membership. I would give more stars if I could. Previous Review This was our third visit to the tasting room. I am a wine club member. This time the experience was not so good. Wine was excellent, as always but having a leaf blower just outside the door was very annoying. We had a reservation for tasting and it seems that the leaf blowing could have waited until we were done. There were also nats around the table some got into my wine. Also no extras just the 5 wines listed for tasting. Additional pours are extra. No additional wines available for tasting. No deals. Being a wine club member I got 10% off and free tasting. We had brought friends along who had not visited the winery previously. They loved the scenery but had the same comments. We will not be returning to the tasting room.

Loved our charcuterie board. The medium was perfect for 4 people. Loved the space and the dog friendly patio. Service was really friendly. Only part we didn't fall in love with was the wine so we didn't buy any but we had a lovely time

Our tasting experience could have been better. The tasting room staff was friendly and efficient but we found the wines available for tasting were limited and for the most part not of the quality we expected. We had to pay for tasting in advance when we made our appointment. I do not think we will be coming back.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would! We had a wonderful experience with Matt as our server. We usually don't care for white/Rose, but we enjoyed these wines at Amavi and the reds were excellent. Matt is an asset to Amavi! We look forward to continuing to enjoy these excellent wines.

Amavi is a beautiful vineyard and winery! The vineyard is absolutely stunning during golden hour, and the inside tasting area is gorgeous. I am not an alcohol drinker, just there to take photos!

The wine was great and Linda was very hospitable and fun. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio, we didn’t even mind the noise from the construction! Can’t wait to see their patio done next time we visit!

When entering the winery, the front staff were very welcoming! Natasha, my boyfriends and my server, she is awesome! She will tell you the exact varietals in the vintage along with what the varietal will pair well with. 10/10 recommend asking for her when coming by. All around great time! Left with a bottle I'm a happy girl.

We enjoyed some delicious wine on their dog-friendly patio with beautiful views of the valley and mountains. It was very relaxing. Linda was a great host with lots of details and hospitality. It’s nice that they have a tasting room in Vancouver so we can visit again closer to home.

We stumbled upon Walla Walla Valley on our elopement/honeymoon road trip around the PNW area. We did the sensory tasting and paired it with cheese and chocolate tasting. By far the best wine experience we have ever had. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Tiffany was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. She helped us throughout the tasting and you could tell she actually cared about us and our experience. You don’t find that a lot these days. I will definitely return again someday. It’s worth the trip all the way from Florida.

Linda was a wonderful and knowledgeable host. The other staff were also engaging and welcoming. We really enjoyed the red wines and the setting is beautiful too.

This place was very crowded, but also very nice. Their deck had a very good view of the hills in the distance. We all kept getting caught just staring at the hills and not drinking our wine. Speaking of wine, it was very good. We were continuously surprised at the quality of wines in WA.

I love coming here to have tastings or to buy bottles from them. Sipping on a glass while looking out at the view of the valley is very relaxing. The Semillion is my favorite!

Yesterday, we tasted wonderful wine with delicious cheese and left with a couple bottles for home. The young man who introduced us to each tasting was well informed and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better day to enjoy the patio. We will definitely return, if we pass this way again
