A fun place to spend some time while in Seward. My son’s favorite part were the touch pools. They have a wide variety of small sea animals to interact with. It was fun. Seeing the seals and sea lions was entertaining , as well. It’s not a huge location and only took us about 30 minutes to get through. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s worth checking out if you have some time to kill.

A fun and interesting place to visit while in Seward, AK especially if you are traveling with a group. Our group got a private class from an expert on lives of the various kinds of puffins living in the area. Puffins are so cute that everyone wants one and at the SeaLife Center you get a chance to get up front and personal with these amazing birds (don’t touch of course). Here is an excellent opportunity to get close to puffins for pictures and to observe their behaviors. Of course there are many other birds, mammals and fish to observe.

Knowledgeable staff and clean facility. Very intriguing and interactive exhibits for both adults and kids alike. They’re a non-profit that supports scientific and direct care for wildlife. Highly recommended place to visit.

It was nice place to visit!!! My hubby was working here. I met a lot of interesting people. I would hate to live here due to the day light still be light in the middle of the night etc. Dark in the middle of the day. Very educational place to visit. Went to Seward and slept in a train. Looked around Anchorage. Went to Fairbanks' palmer. A lot fun and scary moments due to the wild life keeping me on my toes. Visiting alaska was on my bucket list of places to go. So glad for this experience

Had a great time at the Aquarium in Seward. The staff throughout was super attentive and polite, all the displays were well kept and the fish and sea life was amazing to see. The observation deck is a must, athough it was cloudy at the time it was still a great view. The gift shop was a little pricey but having visited the New England Aquarium and Mystic Aquarium the prices are just the same.

This place is worth every penny. We loved seeing and learning about all the Alaskan sea animals. The people working there has so much knowledge too. We had no problems buying tickets in person but they are cheaper online. It is. Small place, we only stayed about 90 minutes. An entire day would be too long. The “touch pool” and puffins were the highlight!

Loved our visit! Learned a lot about the amazing work that the SeaLife Center does with animals throughout Alaska and the country. My favorite thing was the aviary. Being in by puffins was so lovely! Seeing a Stellar Sea Lion up close really put their size into perspective. And the harbor seals were just so adorable! Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy aquariums and conservation!

We absolutely love coming here, it's not huge, but my son loves it and the animals are adorable and look very well taken care of. They offer a resident & military discount, kids 2 and under are free! 2 levels of animals including a touch tank, and an outdoor viewing deck of Resurrection Bay and some birds. They have an elevator for easy access with wheelchairs & strollers. We also really like their souvenir shop, lots of good choices, especially for kids and they have some neat Native Alaska pieces as well!

A great place to take a little over an hour to go through and enjoy it on two levels. The downstairs aquarium views are quite entertaining for what you see up upstairs. Don't miss out on the touch tank and viewing all the creatures in the tanks.

Enjoyed a nice afternoon at this aquarium with my family. The animals and displays were awesome and informative. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is along the streets nearby and in an adjacent parking lot. Campground nearby.

It was a nice visit but pretty average as small aquariums go. We would have liked to see more staff interaction with some of the exhibits or explaining in person more about the specific mammals especially. Outside exhibition viewing areas for the seals wtc were very small. The starfish petting area was really neat. Gift shop was well stocked and had some unique things. I guess being in AK with so much fish and sealife we expected a little more. Perhaps some movies? Some staff interaction with guests and definitely they need to have labels on each tank on the front below the glass with a photo of the fish so you know what you are looking at! Just a typed list of fish does nothing for the lay person. Some tanks had a rotating LED signboard listing the fish, but if a visitor was standing near it, none of the other 15 or so guests could see it. We felt the admission price is high for what you get. Additional fees are charged for other "experiences" which normally are a free with your admission to aquariums we have been to in the lower 48. We would not plan to visit again.

We visited here September. It's multi-level with many educational displays. Most of the operation is viewed from inside, so it's fine to visit on a rainy day. The best experience for our visit was the wildlife response tour led by staff that took us behind the scenes - we learned about the rescue and development work that is a significant part of this operation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the SeaLife Center. A very good display of marine life. The staff were friendly and informative. All tanks were extremely clean and the animals healthy. It was fun watching the seals, sea lions, puffins, eels, octopus. We were there for over 2.5 hours and wished we could have stayed longer but we had to hit the road. We highly recommend a visit! (Don't know why my phone camera turned the octopus purple. All the other animals in photos were their true colors.)

Very very beautiful place. My kids enjoyed touching and feeling the SUNFLOWER star fish. We had a blast. I live in anchorage and I got to say its worth the 2 hour drive.

I have to say this is a must see place in Seward. I highly recommend the " feed the puffin's experience" , it was absolutely amazing! This place has amazing views and was really close to the local shops and restaurants. Even if you cannot do the puffin experience, they have other amazing animals for you to see, we were even able to spot a bald eagle right outside the building. Thank you very much to all the helpful and knowledgeable staff there.

Was a decent amount to check out and learn. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable. I like how you could touch the starfish, and sea urchins were cool as they would squeeze your finger to sense you, very cool! Sea lion feeding would have been cool too see but I arrived just before so it was too crowded to get a good view despite being over 6 feet tall. Would be nice if they put some extra platforms so more people could see. Other than that it was a cool experience could see sea lions, and seals above and below the water on two floors. Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Seward.

Wow if you have kids or just love seeing whats out in the bay you have to go check this out! It is AMAZING!! My 7 year old son had a blast and I must say I really enjoyed it. At first I thought the admission was a little high but at the end of the tour, it was well worth it. Highly recommend!

Glacier kayaking was the best part of my trip in Alaska. It was splendid. I highly recommend this activity if you’re visiting Alaska

Kenai is one of the most gorgeous national parks. I visited Kenai during the spring season when this entire region turns into a heaven. The lush green wilderness with its snow capped mountain and turquoise blue river created a magical experience. There are several beautiful hikes, fishing spots, kayaking places and some eateries. We had a memorable time in Kenai.

When people say you'll have an experience that will forever be tattooed in your brain, they're not kidding. It feels... almost surreal.

We stopped into the national park after our visit to Seward Alaska. The drive into this national park is spectacular. The road is paved beautifully. As you come around one of the corners keep your eye out to the left to see the glacier. As you continue on the road when you cross over the bridge look for signs on the side of the road of where the glacier used to be over 100 years ago. The parking lot here is ample. We had no trouble finding a spot. There’s a ranger station on site but it was closed when we got there. It’s kind of crazy to do a hike in the middle of the summer and start at 8 PM! The trail was super easy to find and very well kept. I highly recommend coming to visit here!

I've been in many NPS and this one is so unique and cool. In addition to visiting it by ship via a tour, we hiked the Harding Ice Field and Exit Glacier. This is a must-see for any park enthusiast!

This is an easy hike, roughly 2 miles with very little elevation gain (300 ft). You’re able to see how far the glacier has receded over the last 200 years. You can see that the retreat is accelerating in recent decades. Don’t forget your bug and bear sprays. We went in late May and the mosquitos were very few.

My very first national park, and the most gorgeous place I have ever seen in my entire life. I hiked the full Harding Icefield Trail, which really kicked my out-of-shape butt, yet was totally worth it. The pure air and enchanting vistas were absolutely mesmerizing. Do yourself a favor - go there.

Visited Kenai Fjords NP in September 2019 on a 3 hour cruise. This place offers beautiful view of the Fjords, glacier and the wildlife. Be sure to be warm clothes if you are visiting in Fall.

Absolutely a stunning and literally a breathtaking hike to Marmot Meadows. I would describe the hike as strenuous. Trail is in good condition and there are plenty of places to sit and rest. Do that! Know your limitations. Would have loved to have gone to the top but am glad I didn't push it. Definitely go to the bottom of the glacier for that view and see how far it used to go out to. Global warming is real folks and soon this glacier will be nonexistent.

We covered the Fjords tour on the boat and it was fantastic! I've been to many national parks and this one is unique in its own right. Must see attractions - - Aialik glacier (can do a kayak tour but it's too cold) - Humpback Whales and Orcas - Huge bald eagle nests atop Fjords - Blowhole in one of the Fjords Amazing views of the wildlife including otters, sea lions, seals, whales, bald eagles, and many other species of birds during the tour and so much to explore and see here. Carry a waterproof jacket, gloves, warm beanie cap and layers since the boat tour can get really windy and freezing cold. Pack lunch as the tour provided lunch options are limited and subpar. The visitor center is a short walk from the tour harbour, which is also fun and informative to checkout.

One of my all-time favorite trips. Every time I come to Alaska I do something unforgettable and going on this tour was the one this time. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Seward or Anchorage, Alaska.

On our cruise in October, almost everything was closed for the season. We did go on a day cruise, seeing lots of glaciers before they all melt. I'm giving it 3 stars because half of what we scheduled was canceled without a discount or refund offered. Anyone walking up paid 1/2 of what we did.

Whales! Sea otters! Sea lions! Bald eagles! Puffins! Glaciers! Mountains! Rock formations! Coves! I’ve been to 37 US National Parks and this one is in the top ten! We were blessed with clear weather on our tour date. Weather conditions definitely impact the experience. We took the Kenai Fjords tour and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Most underrated beautiful, amazing National park! We did Kenai fjords NP Boat tour with Major marine boat tours and had an incredible experience. We saw many glaciers (Bear, Holgate, Aialik Glaciers in our boat tour & Exit glacier doing a short hike). We also saw many sea animals like Humpback whales, Orca whales, Puffins, Otters, Sea lions, Seals, Dall Sheep and a Black bear which crossed the road in front of our car while entering Seward. (Be careful) Regarding the Exit glacier overlook trail, if you are short on time you can skip it because there is a better view from a overlook along the road before reaching the visitor center from Seward than doing the hike to the overlook area from the visitor center. But take the boat tour for sure. We didn’t do the Harding icefield hike due to a shortage of time but if you have time, do it. There are lots of bears in this area so carry bear bell or spray with you.

One of the underrated National Park in US. No entrance fee. Beautiful scenery. Must book the Resurrection bay cruise tour and enjoy the wildlife. A lot of black bears around, so be careful

Take the Harding Ice Field trail as far as you are comfortable. There are three main points of interest. If you can, proceed to the top. It is 3200’ of vertical but the views above tree line are worth it. Expect 2-3 hours to get to the top.

We are from SOCAL and it was freezing. Did a boat excursion here and took a few good pictures at Memorial.

The drive to Seward is amazing. Beautiful views. Walked the marina and stopped in at the KFT gift shop. Nice, relaxing town.

Very nice place with all kinds of restaurants and little shops! Best shop is a family owned business Lighthouse gifts! Best prices!! And loved this memorial to those who died in the 1964 earthquake.

I love Seward, friendly people, great fishing, relaxing environment, lots of bald eagles, and great trails to hike. If you're in AK, you got to go to Seward.

If you're looking to launch your boat or watch some wildlife then the Seward Boat Harbor is a great place to visit. The Seward Boat Harbor is a great place to launch a boat or even a kayak. The boat launch is located near the Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center on 4th Street and the kayak launch is located at the Northeast corner of the Seward Boat Harbor. Parking is a pain, so you will need some coins or a credit card to pay for time. The Seward Boat Harbor is home to wildlife including sea otters. If the sun is bright you can see fry swimming in gigantic numbers below the catwalks. Occasionally a bald eagle will sit on a tall light pole looking for fish too. The Seward Boat Harbor is a great resource, but the sad reality is the expansion many years ago removed a significant amount of beach. The beach was a great place to snag King Salmon. While the fishing near the Seward Boat Harbor isn't the same the expansion did modernize and expand the Seward Boat Harbor capacity.

The color of the water here is so beautiful! Try to plan your visit on a sunny day, you won't regret it!

We use transient mooring all the time, clean restrooms, easy to reach dumpsters, well kept docks and ramps!

My friends and I stayed here over the weekend in the full yurt, we absolutely loved it! Super cozy, great location right on the water, very peaceful. Close to the harbor, downtown and sea life center. Exit glacier is only a 25 minute drive as well and we got to see some bears and moose on our way there. The wood burning stove inside is lovely, but you will need a lot of wood to stay warm (if you're going when it's cold of course). It got a bit chilly early morning hours when the wood was gone, so dress warm and bring extra blankets! We will absolutely come back!

My wife and I went on the half-day kayaking adventure. It was amazing! Alora (our guide) was so friendly and informative. She took care of everything and made us feel safe. She also took and shared some epic photos. Additionally, we were staying near the Miller's Landing facility and drank from their bar, both coffees in the morning and beers in the evening. I 100% recommend Miller's Landing! We will be back. :)

The Bungalow was Great, Place was easy to find and the Short drive there was full of adventure and great views. Owner gave us tons of privacy and were very kind hearted. Apon arrival in early April we seen Eagles, Seagulls, Jelly fish, sea otters, and what seemed like a heard sea lions a long with alot of exotic ducks in the Crystal blue waters. It made the Aquarium in Seward seem lame. Beach was great to get a early morning run in, Tanning and walks really took the stress of the everyday life away. The house was very clean, Everything worked. It felt safe with the most perfect view of the ocean. In our 4 day stay We had sun, rain, snow, wind and clouds and each day was more beautiful than the last. I've been in Alaska for almost a decade and from the service to the views you can't get much better than this around here.. There are two very well trained and well mannered dogs that are a blessing as you will see , Very wise and excepted our 3 little ones and us two immediately and considering the coast of Alaska has the biggest bears in the world you couldn't be safer then to have two of mans best friends by your side. They were quiet and also gave us privacy. Never even jumped on anyone . Not a nuisance at all. The night sky on the patio was worth the price alone. Had a BBQ on the patio on the beach and ate like a king all week in a place that seemed out of this world. I can not wait to come back. Thanks for everything.

If you like quiet and laid back without being to far out, this is for you. Tristan who checked me in was excellent. He offered advise on local places to go visit and even predicted the weather that day and was 100% accurate. Clean facilities made for an awesome stay. Not close to downtown (about 20 min ride) but worth the stay if you prefer a little more quiet. Local fishermen were bringing in the days catch making for interesting conversation.

This was an amazing winter adventure. The weather lined up nicely for us and we had very little wind and flurries if snow throughout the day. Temps were low, but with guidance and gear it was not an issue. Abby was an excellent guide with a wealth of information on the birds and nature we were seeing. The tide was also aligned such that we were able to explore a creek as well. Lunch was provided and the soup and air fried burritos hit the spot!

My husband and I were visiting Alaska on our honeymoon and did the Best of Alaska tour (fishing, sightseeing, and glacier kayaking). It rained most of the day, but we had an wonderful time. Our guides, Mitch and Mary, were amazing and very helpful. Captain Paul and his hand Quin (not positive if I'm spelling correctly) were also a lot of fun. We saw lots of wildlife from orcas & seals to puffins. Everyone was able to limit out on fish as well. This tour had a little of everything for everyone to enjoy.

We stayed on the campground and I will be gracious and not give a review. This review is for my fishing charter with Capt Dustin and Quin. I had a great full day fishing with these two. All six of us on the boat limited out on all our targeted species plus lots of extra fish. These two know how and where to fish. I was at the resort the next 2 days and watched the boats come in each night. Dustin and Quin out-fished all the other Captains every night. I would request Dustin and Quin exclusively when coming to Millers Landing.

We booked millers landing for a 2 night kayak/camping tour of the northwestern fjord. It was perfect and the best thing we did on our entire trip to Alaska! The scenery, glaciers, and wildlife were absolutely incredible - we kayaked among otters, seals (so many!!), puffins, and other birds and encountered and orcas, humpbacks, and sea lions on our boat ride to/from the fjord. I highly recommend the northwestern fjord for less crowds (a majority of the time we didn’t see any other people), 2 nights to go leisurely and see the entire fjord, and to have Mitch as your guide for all the history of the area. Our guide Mitch was very communicative, planned a trip around what we were hoping to see, had everything ready for us when we arrived on the first day, and also made excellent camp meals. This was the best kayak camping I’ve done and really the best way to see any wildlife - pictures don’t do this wonderful place justice, but I tired. I highly recommend millers landing and Mitch as your guide for any of your adventures.

The view is incredible. The house needs maintenance help, though. The fridge worked the first couple days, but we ended up throwing food out this morning as it seemed to die overnight. The freezer never worked during our stay. The ice cube trays we filled were still water when we left. Had to turn on the smoke alarms. Bathroom fan didn’t work. The stovetop fan is broken, so stovetop-cooking made the cabin smoky. Oven didn’t work, so we used the grill which promptly ran out of propane. If you’re not planning to cook, and don’t mind some dust bunnies, this might be a good choice. A little maintenance could go a long way, but when we called the office they seemed unconcerned. I’d check on the status of things before booking. Or pack a cooler and ice!

Very nice facilities and employees. Before the trip we had several questions and they were available 24 hours and were very helpful. We used the RV spaces and you can not ask for better views from all spaces even the annex. The laundry and bathroom facilities were very clean also. We stayed there 4 nights and loved every day. We booked a full day halibut fishing charter and 3/4 day kayaking trip both of which had amazing guides. So friendly and nice. They generally cared about your visit. We will be back and we will be staying at millers landing again.

Our family did the Captain's Choice Kayaking adventure. We paddled around Holgate Glacier and had an incredible experience. We saw a humpback whale, lots of otters, seals, sea lions, bald eagles, puffins, and logs of other birds. The staff was wonderful right from the first time I called to ask questions and book the trip. Ron (aka Kelpie) and Lindsay were our guides. They were friendly and engaging with everyone on the trip, including our 12 and fifteen year old kids. They were also very knowledgeable about the glaciers and the ecosystem of the fjords. We got on the water taxi at 6 am and didn't get off until almost 9. We had fun the entire time. They even had enough snacks for hungry teenagers, hot coffee at the glacier, and hot soup under a rain shelter while we waited for the water taxi to pick us up. They made sure everyone was warm enough along the way. Captain Steve brought us back on the water taxi, and he made sure we had a chance to see sea lions up close. Every single person at Miller's Landing seems to be committed to providing guests with an amazing experience. This was definitely a highlight of our Alaska vacation. If you are looking for any kind of fishing or kayaking experience, definitely check out Miller's Landing!

We did a charted halibut fishing trip with Captain Paul, Logan, Emily, and Clay. They did an amazing job at finding good places to fish and they made the whole experience amazing. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to fish in Seward! 10/10 would definitely do again!

I went on the Tonsina Creek kayak trip and had an awesome time! Our tour guide, Ron was amazing, knowledgeable, witty and full of useful information that added to our experience. He was great at spotting wildlife and made sure we got as good of a look as possible. I felt safe and in good hands the entire time as safety seemed to be his priority along with ensuring we were all having a good time and going at a pace that was comfortable for us. I was pleased with the gear accommodations as well. Anything I did not have, they provided. 10/10 will float again!!

We had a beachfront RV spot for 2 nights. The view was incredible from it. Inside the workers were friendly, and we really enjoyed sitting on their deck having a beer. Try the cod!! We will definitely stay here again on future trips

I have been taking trips down to Seward and staying at Millers Landing for 5 years now. I have tent camped, RV camped, and booked multiple cabins and beach front properties. I have taken a couple of their guided kayaking adventures, and my husband has gone with friends on their charters the past two years. This year we booked their Bridal Venue (technically we booked it last year) for our wedding ceremony. The whole experience was a dream...the rain not joining us until after the ceremony helped. We did have one minor issue, but once I addressed it, not only did the event coordinator handle it, but I was also contacted by both owners who personally ensured the matter was understood and taken care of. We love the location, the attentiveness of the captains and charter crew, the event coordination, and now have a new respect for the owners of this amazing get-away spot in Alaska. They are kind, gracious, and attentive. We will ALWAYS use Millers Landing for our Seward adventures!

Myself and my spouse, Bryan stayed at a vacation rental offered by the Miller's in November over the Thanksgiving holiday in Seward Alaska and honestly, I cannot say enough about how gracious the Miller's were, how beautiful the home itself was that we stayed in, how beautiful and breathtaking the views were no matter the time of day, the environment as a whole was just phenomenal and I just have to say that I cannot wait to go back, we both can't wait. This place used to be amazing, but alot has changed. Used to get a lot of privacy and they took care of the place. Seems to me like they’re trying to grow, but can’t seem get the money right? They have projects all over, but yet the road on site is terrible. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to take my truck in even after going only 5mph. We’ve used to go here atleast 10 times yearly. I’m not sure when they bought the other side to the island, but they went downhill after that. Put cabin after cabin having no privacy, leaving the side roads on site just destroyed with pot holes. Going in 2023 giving us an outdated map and couldn’t find the cabin we were staying in because they moved it. I get it’s hard to find people, but do one thing at a time. I couldn’t even use the bathrooms with them have number two all over!! You guys have such a beautiful spot! Really hope it goes in the right direction!

We took the Tonsina kayak tour and couldn’t be happier! Our guide Claire, was amazing! She took care of everything, was extremely knowledgeable about the geography and the wildlife, and made this day very special for our family. A day to remember for sure!

Fantastic weekend at Miller's Landing! I stayed at the Ocean Front Inn suite. It's perfect for a couple of friends or a small family that doesn't need a lot of room. The view is spectacular and there is a BBQ with a covered deck. Millers Landing helped me book a last minute shore fishing trip with Mason. He was excellent. I'll be back!

Did the fishing charters, and it was great. The Captain knew right where to take us for some excellent fishing, and deck hands were right there to help all of us. Deck hands were running so much, wore me out watching them 😁. The whole experience was fantastic and definitely would recommend them.

We had the absolute BEST time staying at the little cabins then doing the full day kayaking tour with Rylee and Elora!! The guides were truly so incredible and made the experience one of the coolest things we have ever done. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered our million questions about the wildlife and fjords and initially made such an effort to get to know each and every one of us (which was great considering we spent 16 hours together!!) The trip was filled with nonstop adventure - so many animals and insane views, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Living and working on the road can be rough but I absolutely love getting work done here! The WiFi is fast and easy to connect to (it’s also on 24/7 and works outside the building, there is a sign advertising this!), desks have plenty of outlets, and there is always room for me when I come in.

I stopped by there yesterday. Iwent into the museum ,I was not charged but today I noticed it's a 4 dollar charge. It was interesting i learned a lot about Alaska and took afew photos. I am posting 10 photos of museum.

I noticed this building from the Iditarod Historical site, and just walked up to check out the building. I didn’t go inside, but as you can tell, it’s a beautiful building.

I have only been to the museum section. Some very interesting items and some great history of the town and America. The small town of Seward is a very historical place, so take advantage of it well your in town. Also i bought a disk ( had to ask for it) of the 1964 earthquake. Larned so much

I love this library—it has everything! There’s events, a museum, a kids room with toys (and books!), plenty of room to sit, computers, BOARD GAMES and the usual library stuff, books and movies. If you want a book or movie that’s not here, you can access any Alaska library’s collection and they’ll mail it to this library for you to pick up. Amazing! The people who work here are always helpful and friendly. Our family always has a good time here!

Normally-This place is Great! The staff are really nice. Today It was not. I come in there regularly and a few staff member had told me I can use the laptop to watch movies. If another staff member works and they want to tell me you cant use that to watch movies because it over heats. They should just say that. Instead of TELLING me that, the "director" as she claims-said what are you using that laptop for? Are you using that laptop to watch movies? I told her a few staff offered that to me a while back. I told her that if she is telling me otherwise- she should just TELL ME. She didn't. She bothers me because she was just Prying. It's just manners.

Bear Glacier is the first one you can see at a great distance as your glacier tour boat is passing by. Our glacier tour boat didn't slow to see it, but the captain did tell us that we were passing it. Bear glacier is beautiful. We took those pictures quickly!

Bear Glacier is one of many beautiful glaciers in Alaska. I think Bear Glacier is one of the largest you can see at a great distance as your fishing boat, cruise ship, or tour boat is passing by. Our glacier tour boat didn't slow to see it, but the captain did tell us that we were passing it. Take those pictures quickly!
