It's always a great experience for those whom enjoy the animals, The zoo has upgraded some of their areas and the results are astonishing The Asian theme and the new animal areas are amazing 😍🤩 great view for pictures. Can't wait to come back once everything is completed 🦒🐆 the cheetahs were my favorite on this trip

We love the zoo! We buy the yearly memberships and go at least once a month. All of the upgrades they have done and exhibits they have added are amazing! All of the food is awesome as well!

We arrived on a weekday and it was packed with school field trips. The lines weren’t long to enter for general admission. My family and I were able to walk around in a 3-4 hour time span to see all of the different animal exhibits. Our favorite animal attraction was seeing the bright, and colorful pink flamingos in their natural habitat. It was also quite an experience getting real up close to feed the giraffes. Overall, it is a beautifully kept zoo grounds. The staff were inviting and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions or help with guidance around the park. My family and I will definitely be returning and getting ourselves a yearly membership. I would really recommend coming to this zoo!

Lots of improvements have been made and there is construction currently for more amazing things to come. We went on a class trip, first one since the pandemic began. Visited on a Monday morning and it was perfect, no lines to go in, no waiting for exhibits. Definitely recommend grabbing lunch by the safari since the food is being freshly prepared and the prices are reasonable.

We love the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. This little zoo has grown and grown, adding wonderful exhibits and valuable family entertainment. We went to see the new exhibit Kingdoms of Asia. This is absolutely worth the visit. The new tiger habitats are large and the animals have space to roam around. The viewing areas are easy to use, wheelchair accessible and roomy. There are more new exhibits coming... I can't wait to see what they do next.

We always enjoy ourselves at the Chaffee Zoo! I especially LOVED the Butterfly exhibit. I was in aaaww to the point of a sore jaw. The holiday decor is BIG & COLORFUL with twinkling lights galore. Magical to the eyes...

There are lots of animals to view at this large zoo. You can pay an extra small fee to touch stingrays and feed the giraffes. You can be really near kangaroos and emu. They just ask not to touch or feed them. You need a minimum of 4 hours to get through almost everything without rushing. There are multiple areas to take pictures. I went when they were setting up illumniNature so there were extra props to take pictures with. There are some vending machines, some food establishments and a souvenir shop. I did not get to eat there, but one of the food establishments had a beautiful view near the elephants. Restrooms are at the entrance once you pay to enter. For toddler parents: There is a large park near the zoo but no nearby restrooms, and when I asked to quickly use one nearby the zoo. The admission employee said no one could enter until we paid for our admission, even though family members were already at the register paying. The restrooms by the entrance are not very clean, but supplies are well stocked. One stall even had poop smeared all over the floor, and one of the soap dispensers was broken. The restroom in Kingdoms of Asia area is just one toilet, so it may be a wait, but it is very clean and well stocked.

My wife and I take our daughter to the zoo every year and we LOVE going. The staff is always friendly and the environment is always nice, clean and preserved. It seems like every year we go there is more see than the previous times. Its an amazing family time and beautiful animals to see.

Loved the zoo but getting in was kinda ridiculous. We bought a membership and there was only about 3 families in front of us yet it took almost an hour. When we got to the window it took us about 3 minutes to activate our membership. Not sure what took the rest of the first groups so long. The zoo itself was quite nice, while a little small. The exhibits were well placed with a lot of areas to view the animals. Would have been 4 stars if we didn't have such a bad experience just getting in.

I take my boys an average once a month here. We live an hour away but this place is always amazing I have never had a bad experience here. They do amazing holiday themed events my absolute favorite themed event was for Christmas. I have never seen a zoo go above and beyond for their patrons. The Christmas lights were stunning they had to put at least a week or more putting everything up, they had a free picture with Santa they also had hot chocolate with some yummy fireball for adults and extra activities for the kids. Even on none holiday events they do wonders. This place is always clean no trash anywhere their bathrooms are always clean and smell good. Their workers are always super nice. Just have zero complaints and that's rare for me. I will continue to have a membership to this zoo! It also beats the San Francisco zoo and that's hard for any zoo to do..

I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the zoo is for being in Fresno. Once they finish the new are at the end of May 2023 it will be even better. We went on a Monday so was very empty, which was nice. It did get hot but there is a decent amount of shade around the park except for the Africa side of the park. Lots of cool animals and exhibits I did not get photos of. The Africa exhibit is pretty incredible and woth the food court right there with a bunch of different options of freshly made food as well as beer/wine options, all set with outdoor seating with an incredible view of the open Africa exhibit; it was pretty amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or visiting. No complaints here. Great for kids and adults.

The zoo is a great place to visit. The measure Z money has made this place amazing. Go see the tigers the enclosure is huge and it’s so great to see these animals have room to roam. The Asian animals area is beautiful and the art was selected with input from the local south East Asian community.

Perfect for families and children! This zoo stands out with its newest renovations like it’s Kingdoms of Asia! It seemed like a Disney adventure through Indiana Jones! Kids loved it! Seems like they are constructing other great areas with some areas closed down or shut off. Big positive was the many shaded areas and places to eat. They had a wonderful large shaded area to have lunch and look at the large Savannah animals of Africa! Tickets were easy at the kiosk but be aware that parking is smattered and the later you arrive the further the walk to front entrance. Realize that general admission ticket does not include the sting ray exhibit and butterfly exhibit.

Have been here several times and I am happy to see all the improvements they are making. Habitats are much more natural. Less looking through bars. They just expanded their entire Asia section and it's really cool! A few areas are still under construction. It's awesome you can interact with some of the animals. You can walk through the kangaroo pen now. You can feed giraffes, pet and feed stingrays. My only complaint is that both of these activities cost extra. They added a butterfly garden which looks lovely, but this too costs extra. If you don't want to pay more than the entry fee you can still have a lovely time, but just be prepared to dish out some extra cash if feeding the animals is something you really want to do. I fed the giraffes once and it was a really cool experience. Also there is an extra fee of $5 or so for parking for the day. Overall, it's worth a visit.

One of the best zoos I've been to. Just the right size, clean, everything worked, staff was friendly, restrooms were clean, food and souvenirs weren't too expensive but most of all every exhibit that was open (a few were closed for renovations) was well organized and the animals looked healthy. We saw more animals close up than I've ever seen at even the San Diego zoo! Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! And let's not forget the stingray petting/feeding and giraffe feeding. I highly recommend this zoo for a family day trip. Totally worth the time and cost.

I went to see the zoo lights and it was very beautiful. There was a lot to see and some animals were out, such as the flamingo, red lemurs, and stingrays (which you can touch for free). I’m not sure for the butterfly exhibit since I wasn’t able to pass by there. They had one or two shops open, also the cafe. Overall, the walk is 2-3 hours but I’d say it’s worth because there is so much to see and lots of pictures to take with the lights.

Such a great zoo, if you’re in the area it’s worth a visit. One of our first stops was the reptile building. We loved it. So many amazing animals to see. We made our way through the park and eventually began the, “African Adventure”. It’s an amazing area with a lot to see. The sheer size of the area and the amount of animals to see is wonderful. Feeding the giraffes is so worth the price. My son couldn’t stop giggling as the majestic and gentle creatures ate from his hand. All the exhibits were great, we made sure to check everything out as we made our way through the rest of zoo. I would definitely recommend this zoo to anyone in the area looking for a place to spend a day. The Winged Wonders Bird Show was another hit for us. Overall a great experience and well worth every penny. We had lunch at the Kopje Cafe/Lodge and while the wait time was a little long and it was a little pricey (it’s a local attraction so obviously prices are a little high), the food was great and staff was friendly. Again, this zoo is well worth the visit.

We loved the Zoo very clean and well kept. There is a lot of areas for little ones to play and the bird show was fun yet short. If its too cold some animals will not be in display. It took us three hours to walk around and see everything. Very kid friendly and awesome for them to see very different animals close by.

This is one of Fresno’s true treasures. It’s so well designed and themed. The vistas for the animals are great. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Brian who followed up on an item I lost. He was part of a really nice team that helped with that.

Such a great visit to the zoo today! The new exhibits are amazing. Great bathrooms in the Africa pavilion. Impressive and beautifully kept grounds.

So I bought a membership so that whenever we wanna go or spend time together we hid out to see the animals at the zoo in fresno my youngest love touching the stingy ray... best place to spend Quality time with your little ones.and learn about the different animals that I tell my kids that God created 🙏 ❤️ ♥️ 💖 🙌

Visiting Fresno Chaffee Zoo was an amazing experience! Every exhibit was captivating, the staff was friendly, and the size was just right. The admission prices were unbeatable, making it accessible for everyone. The Kingdom of Asia was breathtaking, and the African Adventure with the rhinos felt like a journey to Africa. My kids absolutely loved it - it was truly an unforgettable visit!

We went last year. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and very approachable. (Can't remember his name) The magnitude of what one person was capable of accomplishing, if you look closely, is astounding. Decades of dedication for his vision. All of the staff were friendly. The grounds were immaculate and very beautiful. The rose gardens above ground were lovely. We will go again, absolutely!

Never in my wildest dreams would I expect a part of such interesting history to find in - Fresno. The story of one man’s dream and never giving up told through underground mazes and citrus trees. The words and pictures won’t do this place justice. If you’re nearby make sure to spend a few hours learning about this amazing place and how it came to be. The guides are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend it!

This place is an amazing gem and piece of history. The tour guide was incredible and she was so patient with our kids in a pretty big group. The amazing underground gardens are something to behold. The tree grafting is unbelievable. This is a great story of an Italian immigrant working extremely hard to make their dream come true.

On a really hot day in Fresno it's good to go underground because it's about 10 degrees cooler. The gardens are great but the architecture that this Italian created almost single handed is absolutely fantastic. The labyrinth that he designed was more impressive to me than the gardens themselves and the way that he was able to integrate them.

Tour guide was super friendly and nice. Also knowledgeable about the place. I want to taste the fruit on those trees ☹️☹️☹️. I think tour people will buy some fruit from the tree to taste if they sell it. Sadly, they don't. It would also be nice to have a night tour when it's dark 👻. Over all, worth it.

Great place to go. I took my family here for Easter and it was fun. My family and I really liked how they created the garden. Love the rose bushes so beautiful full of different colors.

Absolutely amazing. What an incredible hidden gem! Fantastic, super friendly staff. Wheelchair/walker accessible as long as it meets the width requirement posted on their website. They also have events at the ballroom area that sounds like a really cool experience; would love to be able to go to one sometime. Don't miss this unique experience!

Katie was an awesome guide. It is so incredible to see what one man can do. The whole family really enjoyed themselves which is rare with teens but it's impossible not to be amazed and inspired. Purchase your tickets in advance online and there are plenty of different start times. Even in a warm 90⁰ day it was pleasant.

One of the best experiences I've ever had! Was meaning to visit long time ago but for one thing or another it didn't happened. This time I actually visited with my military son and my teenager daughter. We all enjoyed this experience and will totally recommend to everyone to visit when in Fresno ♡

How do you even review a place like this? This place is completely unique, like nothing I've ever seen or experienced before. The physical place plus the incredibly inspiring story behind it, the way it just keeps going and going, it's an incredible man-made miracle. Our tour guide was excellent, too - I forget his name but he's in my photos here and he was SO nice, such a great speaker, very knowledgeable, and really made the experience extra special for us. I can't stop raving about this place, it's probably the best and most interesting thing in the city of Fresno. Heck, it's a highlight for the whole state of California. Amazing, breathtaking place.

Absolutely stunning place. Yes it’s pricey but so beautiful and amazing that ONE man dug it all with hand tools. I felt so inspired!! I wish I had come here to visit sooner. Lots of information from the tour guide and it was just wonderful.

Wow! If I could leave a one word review it would be this. I typically don’t love guided tours but Rhanda brought these underground gardens to life with a lively, well informed and thoughtful journey through the wondrous underground works of Baldessare Forestiere. Whatever pictures you might have seen do not do it justice. If you have spare time, the Punjabi market and quick restaurant located on the lot just east is another great stop. We made it a day trip from the East Bay - it was a lot of driving but doable. Wish we had more time to explore Fresno, but we’ll be back. Thanks to everyone keeping Forestiere Gardens alive for the enjoyment of and inspiration to the world. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely amazing place to visit! 100% recommend going even if it’s hot outside! We went for a 9:30 am tour, and even when it got to over 100 degrees outside it was still relatively cool down in the gardens, especially once we got down to the lower level. The architecture is incredible, and hearing the history of one man doing it all was so fascinating. Our tour guide was so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. She was very sweet to my boyfriends sister who is claustrophobic, making sure to warn us before we went through a small space, assuring us we’d be in an open area soon, and offering to have someone guide us back to the gift shop to get some air and water if it got to be too much. Luckily it wasn’t too much and we were able to enjoy the whole tour! We went with our 8 month old baby in a carrier and she had just as much fun as we did looking around at everything. The place is absolutely beautiful and I look forward to coming back with my parents the next time they visit us in Fresno!

Absolutely amazing place; excellent tour guides who are very knowledgeable. You cannot self-guide, so make sure to get a reservation ahead of time if it’s the busy season or weekends. We went on a Thursday and we’re able to get on a tour group happening soon after we arrived, but don’t chance it otherwise. What an amazing story, so many years of hard work, botanical wonder and a historical gem.

We went here as walk-ins without a reservation and got on a tour starting within 6 mins. Our tour guide was Sarah and she was so perfect and made the experience so interesting. The only critique is I wish she’d remind people as we went along the tour to not touch the walls because people started getting lazy, leaning and putting their shoes on the walls as we were standing around. They should also know how to say those phrases in Spanish since over half of our group spoke Spanish. It was quite a unique experience and we got lots of pictures.

Good vibes & excellent environment to study. Miss studying in quiet room area. Helpful staff. I miss the days of going to this library.

Love this kind of Library! It's so nice and big and it has more space to it like the quite room, the children's room is more bigger and It has lots of computers when it get on the internet. Wish I could go back again someday when it's more convenient.

Located in North Fresno, on Perrin ave. Woodward Park Regional Library is very big, clean, and has an arsenal of information and equipment for public use. Open Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm Friday&Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5pm. There is a very spacious patio as well as a kids section. Plenty of computers and fax/copy machines. Free WiFi is also offered. This location also offers plenty of free classes such as guitar lessons, tai-chi, yoga and mediation as well as story time for children. This library is more of a learning and education institution rather than your average library. Why spend $50,000 on an education that u can get for free??

For someone who is trying to study, this place is ideal, but it doesn't feel like that is always the case. Very roomy and friendly feel where you can keep to yourself and study, but their are a lot of kids and sometimes they can cry a lot. Also the internet wifi is plain not good here; it is very slow and it takes a long time to load up pages and links on my laptop and phone

Great collection. The computer system for finding books works beautifully. There are several different types of spaces available for groups and a very pleasant children’s library. Easily accessible.

This place is great! Lots of room. Staff is excellent, helpful. The library in general is a fabulous, whether it is an audio book or real book. They have cd's and video games. Magazines ect. They have a quiet room. The kids area is separated.

This is my absolute favorite library in Fresno county! It's always clean, in a good area, lots of free parking spaces, and the employees are super helpful, patient, caring, and seem to really love their jobs! The library also has many events going on, is colorfully decorated, and feels homey. There's an entire section for kids that's well lit with natural lighting and there's little computers and desks for them to work on. Adorable!!! I could go on and on about this place, but I highly recommend you check it out yourself.

This is by far the most beautiful , intriguing garden inside Woodward park and one of fresno amazing attraction. The front entrance receptions were two amazing incredibly well presented young ladies Adriana and Kenya , they were so prominent and helpful.It’s literally relaxing and great sightsee. People take their photos during their great occasions whether is engagement, graduating, cultural and religion occasions. Highly recommend it. It makes you feel welcomed and stress relieve .. give it a shot and visit this place ..

Very peaceful and extremely well maintained park. Well worth the visit. We couldn’t see the bonsai garden because we got there too late but it was still a great park to walk around. We spent about an hour walking around before closing time, but we would have stayed longer if we could.

The scenery is great but, I wish there was more exotic plants instead of the typical common plants that you see around Fresno. I feel it could use more of the Chinese architecture when it comes to furnishing the scenery. However I really enjoyed my stay there.

Beautiful place for a friendly excursion, romantic date, family gathering, or just time to reconnect with yourself and nature. Ideal location for spiritual practices, meditation, yoga, photography, or just enjoying the beauty and magic of nature. The peacocks came out to greet us and, well, peacock a bit, showing off their feathers and graceful figures. A wonderful experience from arrival to departure.

This is my second time here. This place is so tranquil and beautiful. They had a tour guide help us to feed the koi fish and tell us about the Tea Ceremony that goes along with the Tea House in the garden. We got to see baby ducks. They were so cute. The peacocks were loud and fanned out their feathers by the end of our time there. We even saw a couple of turtles sunbathing. I really enjoy myself every time we come here. It's such a beautiful place to have at Woodward park.

Since living in Fresno for 5 years, it was our first time visiting this place. The place is very cute and maintained well. Lots of beautiful things to look at while walking around and of course, there are lots of places to take photos.

The Shinzen Friendship Garden is a traditional northwestern American Japanese Garden. The Garden was constructed to honor Fresno’s Sister City, Kochi, Japan, celebrating the spirit of understanding and promoting educational and cultural awareness. The beauty, grace and serenity of Japanese design is present in the use of varied plant material, rocks and stones, and water throughout the five acre garden. The garden is designed around the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter; granite markers identify each section. In the Fall of 2015 we were proud to be chosen to house and display the world-class Clark Bonsai Collection, which is now on permanent display in the garden, offering a seasonal rotation of some of the finest Bonsai in the United States.

lovely spot to relax and see some animals like geese, colorful birds and peacocks. parking is 5$ and entrance is another 5$ per adult which is a bit much but it is worth the relaxing scenery. It takes about 20 minutes to walk through the whole park.

I didn’t get to take many photos on my phone since i wanted to experience this place without technology. This place was fascinating to me, surprising there wasn’t a lot of people when i went. parking was $5 and it cost $10 for 2 adults. There is a lot of shade and seating area where you can rest. When i got there, there were elderly and they seemed to have a great time feeding the fish. I followed into the Bonsai section and the trees were great. I liked the way how they were set up into a small building and a worker was there to give us information. Unfortunately the tea house is closed off, but you could still walk around the trail. The place with the turtle photo was a nice spot too and i got to see the peacocks walking. At the end of the walk, I felt great and I would like to come here again.

Very beautiful. This garden is inside the Woodward Park so you have to pay for park parking, plus the entrance fee for the garden. Well worth it. It opens from Wed to Sun. I noticed that they have all different Oribe stone lanterns so I started looking for them but only posted few here. See how many you can find. Bonsai garden is also very interesting. Volunteers are so very nice and helpful answering my questions. Don't forget to look for Oribes in there.

Beautiful, tranquil experience. The docent at the bonsai area was very knowledgeable. Only negative is getting around all the quinceñeras being photographed. We will definitely be back. 😊

Located inside Woodward Park. Shinzen Friendship Garden is a perfect place to connect with your Spirit. It is absolutely gorgeous , truly zen. The air smells of a delicate floral perfume, and you will be surrounded by beautiful exotic plants and trees. Price: Very inexpensive ; parking was only $5 , and entrance to the garden was $7 total for 3 of us. The only downside : Portable Potty , not brick and morter. However, you can always use the park's bathroom before or after visiting the Zen Garden 😉

First time there and we loved it. We drove from Modesto to see it. Very relaxing and beautiful. Beautiful place to do photo shoots.

The garden is beautiful. Very well maintained and kept looking it's best, one of Fresno's best sight seeing locations. Highly recommend for locals and visitors to see at least once.

I visited the Island Waterpark for the first time in probably 20 years 🙃. I forgot how fun some of the slides are. We rented a cabana in the kid swim area as we were celebrating a children's birthday. The kid area is really cool,.I don't remember it having so many cool water slides for the little ones. I like how this park is mapped out, there were groups of slides about 3 to 4 slides per area. So you could go to one area and then go on multiple slides and work your way through them. The lazy river was probably my fabric part, relaxing and refreshing. They no longer allow rafts on the wave pool, which I think is great, it's much safer that way. We went on a weekday and there was no crowds. The longest we waited for a slide was maybe 10 minutes. I do wish there were more trees and green spaces here, most of the park is cement and canopies, but not too many shaded green spaces. It's also right next to the 99 freeway so pollution and noise is a factor, more green spaces would do a lot for this Waterpark. It's $40 a ticket and a $5 processing fee online, parking is another $5. I think that's a bit steep for a water park, I'm sure it also takes a lot of money to operate a water park. Regardless, it's a nice experience with the family.

5/29/22, Tried to book a cabana, website still not working. Called to ask if I can go reserve in person. Rep said no, cabanas will be given out first come first serve on the day off. Not very secure way to book a spot. She made no effort on finding a feasible solution. So will be skipping Island this yr :(.

My first time I loved it very family friendly I love love love this place life guards on duty everywhere following all of the safety precautions and regulations every slide was opened and running very fun place

Counting Down to Cold Weather! Excited to return to the Showboat as the weather gets colder. The retractable glass roof gives the illusion of being outdoors while keeping a comfortable 80-degree temperature. A unique experience that we can't wait to enjoy again

We enjoyed our time there. I have to rent a cabana next time. Our boy loved all he age-appropriate sites. We highly recommend this place to other people.

I had taken the grandkids to one last fun thing to do before school started and what better place than a waterpark. We all had a great time and day but grandma was beat from the heat...🔥

Really fun and amusing! Only thing was that lazy river could be filtered better to maintain clean but at the same time I understand a lot of people get in it. Slides are clean and safe, I haven’t been here in years and I came back today and had so much fun.

I & my adult grandson had a blast.!! We went during the week, and it was not packed, which was great. The strawberry funnel cake was off the hook & yummy! The wave pool was where we spent most of our time... I didn't rent a cabana cause it was just us 2. However, upon entering the park, I was informed of tables with shade that we could utilize for no charge. It all worked out perfectly! Thank you, Island Waterpark, for the fun we were able to have😊

Haven't been in years but we had a wonderful time. So much fun. Be sure to ask when you enter the park what time they close. The website showed 6pm but they stayed open until 8. No alcohol is allowed so don't t try to sneak it in they'll catch you.

This is the best fun place for us. Each year we were going far away places to spend our hot days but now my kids are here every other day. I bought 10 season tickets this year and will buy every year from now on inshallah.

The Island has changed:( More expensive with less amenities. A serious divide has taken place among the have and the have-nots😳 Extremely expensive for minimum experience! The slides are good and the life guards are serious but I was very disappointed that lounge chairs were not available to our family as before😟With a full day of fun in the hot sun, my only option was to rent a cabana for another $80-$150!!! WHAT!!😡 Otherwise only plastic bench or hot cement. My family set up at the lazy river where there are trees. The nearby cabanas were empty all day. Apparently no one rents them. Yet the lounge chairs had to remain empty. I understand the principle that if someone rents a cabana they should have enough lounges for their family. Yet The Island should take a look at their demographic and find another way to be profitable. So much money and no comfortable seat? Unacceptable!! I won’t go back. I don’t have the budget for a park that seems to only want to profit from the families who keep it in business. I have been going since 2000. After Covid we stopped. First time back and so very disappointed🫢Won’t be surprised if they go out of business!!! No Respect! -$50 (including tax) per person -$5 day parking -$10/$12 Tube rental We are a family of 5 = $357 *Brought our own food and drinks! Phew!

It’s so hot now!! So get out to Island Waterpark for a day in the sun with the whole family. If you’re local, it’s best to get the season pass because you definitely get your moneys worth just by going 2-3 times during the summer. Otherwise it’s 39.99 regular admission. Senior discount is available and children under 2 are granted free admission. Season pass allows 1 buddy pass per card so bring a friend (except holidays, i.e. 4th of July). You may bring your own food/snacks/coolers/beverages (no alcohol) but there is a bar there for some adult fun. My $14 Big Wave Kona beer (24oz) needed to be colder though because it got warm really soon. Step up the bar service Island Waterpark! Restrooms/showers, locker rentals, floaties rentals. convenience store for that item you forgot are all located inside. Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen!

the park unfortunately doesn't look like the pictures anymore but prices stay high, pay extra for parking, and pools stay looking dirty, for a park that is not open all year and has plenty of down time to make repairs and upkeep to the waterpark to justify the prices it just don't justify the price you pay, but oh well, you can't even BBQ in this place i just hope they can revamp this place, it was great the first couple of years when it was new and i thought it was only gonna get better but it's not hope they can change that. because for what you pay to go there is just not worth the money anymore. hope park gets better again.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at the Art Museum today with one notable exception and the reason for the one star deduction... the homeless hanging out on the North side of the building. The issue I have is it's well within eyesight of the parking lot and it made my daughter nervous until we got inside of the museum. Once inside, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The museum itself was well lit and clean. At the time of this posting, there is a special exhibit for Maurice Sendak. He wrote and illustrated the children's book "Where the wild things are". We had an enjoyable morning, and we will likely return later in the year.

I have been wanting to visit the Art Museum since I was a teen, I'm mid 30s now, so it's been on my list forever! I finally went on a Saturday, it's only $10 to get in, for it being a Saturday it was very calm. I was able to be in some of the gallery rooms alone and take my time looking over the pieces. I really loved the "Beyond Boundaries" expedition. The colors and art really called to me, there were about 4 or 5 different expeditions on display. There were 4 separate rooms in the museum and then one display was in the main lobby area and hall. The building itself is beautiful, high ceilings, beautiful flooring, modern. They have a cute gift shop, and a sculpture garden in the back, the garden is nice, small and quiet, on warmer days it would be nice to just sit and relax back there. There is also a Beautiful mural painted on the building in the garden. Parking is free, the museum is right next to a park, staff was very nice and welcoming.

It was a wonderful place to visit. I really like that they have an outside area that you can sit and enjoy some art rocks. The art inside was really unique. The place was clean and the gift shop has a lot nice things that you can purchase.

How amazing experience! They are right to say “ visit us … be inspired!” The quality of the exhibition is great, similar to visit the Broad at Los Angeles CA or the MoMA at New York! This museum offers us unique opportunities to see and enjoy important pieces of art and artists. On this museum I knew the Chester Arnold artwork and his art catch me immediately! That is what I am looking for when I visit the museum! FAM is absolutely amazing, great exhibition, garden and the store is really nice. The docents are very kind!

A gem for the art, but I never have a pleasant experience with the staff on duty when I visited them over the years. Third time visiting in 2017 was the last straw. I had been very excited to share the exhibit with my friends and family and readers across the globe, but after dealing with the staff on duty there, I kept it to myself and vowed never to return. But I wish others a good experience.

Was a fun hands on experience. I went with my daighter for a field trip, and was very informative and fun. Great place to take your Family for a local fieldtrip. Cool artifacts, knowledgeable friendly staff. Cool air condition. Everything was very well kept, restrooms display cases and all.

Love this museum. It's not the biggest, but it packs a punch. There's always something good to see here. Usually not too crowded or much of a wait.
