Such a beautiful place! Lush greenery and a few pretty flowers peeking through as well. Awesome shaded cool boardwalk and great little benches to sit and watch the waters. Frogs, birds, and insects making great noises too! Cute little gift shop inside as well as many educational panels and faux environments to learn from. The workers are passionate and kind.

This is my God and Me place. Here you will get to see God beautiful creation. The migrating birds, maybe a wild pig, and keep a close eye for a alligator. This is the absolute best place to get away from everything

It was a great visit to this wonderful national wildlife management area. I would like to see them continue to address roadside concerns and lagoon management zones. The natural areas are starting to become more ecologically stable and less manipulated by humanity. The growth of the space ventures there is definitely having some impacts on the fire management of the area.

What a beautiful place! There is plenty of free stuff to do and see but it's worth spending $10 to take the 7 mile drive thru the heart of the sanctuary. The variety of birds that you see is incredible. Loved it so much and will be back to visit again soon.

Beautiful scenic drive with lots of wildlife to view. The ladies in the visitor center were extremely helpful and welcoming. The trails were well maintained. Definitely worth the trip!

Beautiful! Very helpful volunteers at the visitors center, would recommend heading there first to get some tips for your visit and a map. You can pay the very reasonable $10 entry fee. Saw lots of wild life; gators manatees wild boar eagles and birds. Great walks and driving loops.

Great little education center with a few interactive displays and a nice little gift shop. Awesome Florida nature based jewelry in the gift shop. Clean bathrooms but a bit dated and small. Boardwalk out back is being redone but there was a short part open. We saw lots of turtles and birds out there.

There are many boat ramps, several nice, easy trails and a lot of beautiful scenic drives. Unlike other part of Florida you will not see a lot of trash or have to deal with much traffic. INCREDIBLE are to watch rocket launches from the Kennedy Space Center.

I broke my fingers here but had the time of my life. Let me explain, this drive takes you on a road made from rocks/shells/dusty materials. Its a one way drive, with water directly next to the road basically the entire drive. You're going to see pockets of birds, ducks, gators, among other things on this drive. We saw so much! Bald eagles, herons, storks, spoonbills, you name it. I recommend driving fairly slow (say 10ish mph) to take it all in. Every so often you can pull to the side, let others pass, and grab some incredible photographs. Well, right on the end stretch of our journey today we came across the biggest gator of the day. I pulled to the side to attempt to get a picture and I guess the car was slanted in such a way that when I pushed the door open, it shut itself right on my fingers. 😂 it latched itself closed and everything with three fingers in the door! ouch. anyway, I still got out and took my photo and had a blast of a day. Don't squish your fingers and I promise you'll enjoy yourself. Drive safe y'all!

Fishing, Hiking Trails, Excellent place to kayak and ocean swimming! This place is Gorgeous! What old Florida used to look like! Also at beach 1 you get an excellent view of the NASA space launch pads!

What a great way to spend a day seeing Florida in its natural state. Spend the time driving the Black Point Trail is was spectacular. A bird watchers paradise. And if you like to see alligators in the wild we were fortunate enough to see dozens of them. The boardwalk trail at the visitors center is a nice easy hike and a beautiful lush tropical forest to stroll through.

Came here during peak birding season. Did not disappoint! Visitor center staff were kind and helpful.

Cannot believe I've lived in Brevard 7 years and this was the first time visiting. Definitely recommend to see all the birds and gators what a great little day exploring Definitely check out the visitor center, manatee overlook, and black point drive! We also did a little hike (scrub jay?) which was perfect for kids as well Hope to return soon!

Such a beautiful place. Many different birds and sites. This was the second time we came here. Each time was different sightings. We will definitely come back again. The visitors center gave us a map and a lots of information of highlights to area.

Some of the best views and wildlife spectating ever! Manatee, alligators, king fisher, spoon bill, lots of sea creatures including snails, crabs, pufferfish, and comb jellies!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Very helpful workers at the visitors center to help us find where to go. We drove the scenic drives and saw a variety of birds and gators. Great place to visit!

It's pretty and peaceful but I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps it's because it's winter and too cold for the animals. If you visit, I would recommend going in the fall or spring. The road is super narrow too, making the ride not as pleasant.

The Black Point Wildlife Drive is a must!! You encounter all kinds of interesting birds and we saw several alligators. Also, the employees at the visitor center are helpful and friendly!

Great experience at the Kennedy Space Center! This is located at the northeast corner of the Kennedy Space Visitor complex. It is just north of the bus drop-off and east of the outdoor memorial. It is hard to miss since it has the Space shuttle External tank and solid rocket boosters standing outside the front of it. This building has many exciting features for visitors to see. It has an introductory movie experience, a real space shuttle, interactive experiences, a slide for kids, a shuttle simulator, a memorial, and a gift shop. The visuals throughout the building are very well done. The introductory preshow that explains how the shuttle idea started is very well done and explains the challenges that the idea went through to become a reality. It leads to a novel viewing experience that leads out into the large bay where the real shuttle is displayed with bay doors open and robotic arm outstretched. We took the guided tour that was available and Bart did a wonderful job of explaining details about the shuttle program and the shuttle. We chose to pay our respects in the memorial to the Columbia and Challenger Shuttle astronauts that are located on the bottom floor next to the exit. Overall, this is a must-see at the Space Center complex.

Without doubt the highlight of my recent trip to Kennedy Space Centre. The Atlantis space craft is expertly introduced via some short videos in a small auditorium (it must be said that some of the acting in the clips is a little ropey) before unveiling the incredible Atlantis craft itself. This exhibit also houses the takeoff simulator which is helped by some amusing videos and is actually quite impressively done. Highly recommend this exhibit, make sure this is one you attend if visiting. It's essential!

Amazing sight to been seen. There is so much history and technology in one small area. I wish I had more time to explore the area, but this is a must if you are in the park. The shuttle makes you realize how small we all really are.

The outside of the building doesn't look inviting, but it is huge! We spent hours learning and exploring. From interactive stations, to 3-d experiences and even a liftoff simulation ride. This is a must see location when visiting NASA

It is both sobering and inspiring to go to the Kennedy Space Center. So much history and science to read about. Lots of fun exhibits and rides as well. We had a great time, and we didn't even get to see everything.

Okay .. this was brilliant .. well done. NASA. The entire experience was great. From the start when the movie plays to the unveiling of Atlantis - to the simulator and the exhibits. When you first see the shuttle a wave of emotion over comes you. You can feel the energy and the history. Stunning!

Hadn't been back to the Kennedy Space Center in a number of years so it was nice to see it all again. Love this place! And this "new"(ish?) space shuttle exhibit is ridiculously amazing. Jaw dropping that the actual shuttle is right there in the building. Wonderful.

Great! My favorite exhibit. I’m 44, but I rode all the rides, crawled on all the interactive exhibits, and pushed all the buttons. I thought it was much better than universal studios and a lot less expensive. They had a great guided walking tour going and lots of things to play with. My kids would have loved it.

This was seriously THE BEST part of our visit to the Kennedy Space Center!!! The launch simulator was well worth the wait to get in & if you visit the Space Center, you cannot leave without doing this tour! It was AWESOME!!! Even though entering the Center is expensive, you don't have to pay extra for these other attractions & the Atlantis one was by far our favorite of the day!

I've been coming here since they opened It's still a great experience, and they have added new things over the years, so it never gets old. Great for kids and adults.

AMAZING this place was very cool and educational. My kids had a blast and I was very impressed with how neat this place is. Of you are on the space coast you got to see this. They also have a launch experience that is really cool. It os a simulator that actually makes you feel like you are launching in the the spacecraft. The staff went out of their way to make sure you got to experience everything you want to. NASA has done an awesome job with the whole experience at Atlantis.

Here you get to see the actual Space Shuttle Atlantis along with many other related exhibits including flight simulators. Totally an awesome place to learn and experience. Amazing place for all ages.

It is really an awesome moment to see and learn about Atlantis space shuttle inside the Atlantis building. Sometimes the line can be long to watch the shows but it is really worth waiting for it. Loved it lots!!

Don’t miss this exhibition on your visit to the space centre. With so much to see it’s possible to miss this but be sure to check it out. Took me 3 hours to go round as there is just so much to see

This exhibit was amazing! Starts with a 360 video screen where the wall opens and then you walk into a massive room with the shuttle, massive, amazing and just an incredible thing to experience. There was a huge slide for the kids to go down and then my two teens went on a launch simulator that they loved! Super impressive form start to finish.

Amazing shows at the start, and a brilliant exhibit about the Atlantis! The end to the second show is simply brilliant. Hats off the guys who planned it. There is so much to see and understand here. It is a must visit when coming to the Kennedy Space Center. Also, the launch simulation is a must do. But make sure you get there well in time as 4.30pm is the last slot available and we missed ours by just 10 mins! Last you exit the building through the souvenir shop and there are some amazing things to add to your collection and memories of Kennedy Space Center.

Horrible experience. Visiting with small Children and the administrator was shouting at them. We were controlling them to the best of our ability and reminding them of rules, but raising voice at other people’s kids - is another level of uninviting, cold environment. Kids should be welcome in any museum with grace of understanding their age and itsdevelopmental limitations. We were made unwelcome for being human. Won’t be going back. Disgrace. Don’t take your kids to this place. We honor and appreciate veterans but this incident made us reconsider supporting this place.

A great place, a wonderful museum, and awesome staff! This is located behind the Merrit Island Mall. It is at the south end of South Sykes Creek Parkway. It is a very nice location that sports many different pieces. There is a memorial area with 2 helicopters, a tank, a truck, and a plane. There is a park located to the west of the building and south of the memorial area with parking and a walking path over a bridge and around an inlet. The building itself has a walkway along the water. Inside the building is an absolutely wonderful museum. We have been to this building many times but this was the first time that I had visited the museum. What a fantastic place. There are 2+ stories of graphics, artifacts, and memorabilia coving the United States service members’ wartime history. We spent about an hour looking at the various parts of all the floors and areas. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and I could have spent a lot more time looking over all the information displayed there. This is a must-see site for our area. I highly recommend this to any veteran or student of American history. Enjoy.

Great Veterans Museum, progress of all the wars was laid out and in order. Museum is free but donations are welcome. Highly recommend!

An incredible staff of people. Eager to help promote knowledge about the displays and Veterans sacrifices. Free entrance. Has an attached park with a small playground. Supports local schools and others with volunteer experience and scholarship opportunities. Please check out this Center that offers an incredible experience of military history!

A awesome place to learn about the history of our great military in all the branches. 3 floors of history displayed and there is even a piece of the battleship Arizona on display. Beautiful surrounding's and aircraft on display. Had a great time there. No price of admission but donation are welcome.

Very nice museum and memorial that has informative displays from Revolutionary War through the present, also a memorial outdoor area, some scavenger hunts for kids, an outdoor pavilion that can be reserved for events, overall lots to see and learn about, definitely recommend it

I went to see Maverick and unfortunately it wasn't playing on the 2 big screens they have. We had to settle for a medium sized screen. Nice clean theater. The sound and picture were great in the medium theater. Of course, beverage and popcorn prices are really out there but, hey, they have to make money. Nice to go to a real theater.

Like stepping back in time 20yrs - I’m a good way. To a theater at that time, with current movies, digital projection, fantastic stadium seating! Extremely well taken care of. It was awesome! The carpet was good, the floors were not sticky. If you want a rustic experience with new movies. This is the place to go! How it looks from outside is deceptive. Like a still functioning museum of a theater. Perfectly maintained. Loved it!

Dirty, smells moldy, and like urine! The staff was not friendly and definitely seemed unhappy to be there! The pictures are decent compared to what it's like in person. Won't be back! Don't recommend!

A friend took her daughter and me to "Sound of Freedom". An unforgettable movie. In general, good ticket prices, food court, clean, many choices of movies and times. Kids movies (good prices) in the mornings.

We took our granddaughter. She is a 5 year old who had read the book WISH. I am very pleased with CMX Merritt Square! The movie was wonderful. Our experience was great.

Popcorn is great! I love the old school seating & not being forced to select a seat when buying the tickets. It was a great movie experience.

It's a fine movie theater. A few of the seats squeak sometimes, but it's generally clean. A big bonus is that it's hardly ever crowded, in my experience. Even on opening night of the latest Marvel movie, there was no line at the ticket booth, and hardly anyone waiting at concessions. Makes for a very relaxed experience.

No butter or salt for the popcorn. They didn't have napkins either, you had to ask for paper towels from behind the counter. Doors don't open until 1115 and our movie was at 1130. That leaves little time to get food before movie starts. They also did not put the pepperoni on the pizza, had to return for them to put on some slices. They do not cook the pepperoni on the pizza. Would not return to this location.

I went to see across the spiderverse at the 5:20 showing, the lady selling tickets didn't greet or ask which movie i wanted to see just stared at me waiting for me to speak first... weird Enter the lobby and you are hit with the stale smell of mold and popcorn with no one even checking tickets, we literally just walked past and to our assigned theater. We go to AUD5 the seat in front of me has its insides popping out from the plastic seam, the seat one over from that has a completely broken recline, my seat smells like a foot. Eventually I have to use the bathroom so I go to the closest one, next to AUD6(womens), the entire bathroom absolutely reeks of urine to the point its almost unbearable but I don't want to miss a lot of movie so I use a stall anyway. Toilet doesn't flush, didn't have an out of order sign or anything just doesn't flush. (I suspect none of the toilets flush with how awful and strong the scent of urine was in there) I was actually shocked when the sink I used worked, not shocked the soap dispenser was empty though. When I left the movie after I used the other women's room and had to open 3 different stalls before I found one that wasn't disgusting or broken and I still ended up using a toilet where the hinges of the seat were badly broken causing the seat to be shifted. Thankfully it flushed though and this bathroom only smelled like mildew like the rest of the place. Movie was great but I'm definitely driving to Viera AMC next time.

Awful experience. Disgusting place, disgusting patrons. Gross, dirty, outdated theater and seats. Smelled awful. Plus, you get to enjoy the yelling, swearing, and popcorn throwing of 13 year olds who are wholly unsupervised by both parents and any kind of staff or security throughout the entire movie you paid to watch. Kids actually physically fought in the back row of the theater at the end of the movie! When incidents were reported to management they simply shrugged and said, "I can't really keep track of them all." Guess the teens in Merritt Island, Florida get to do whatever the hell they want, including ruining the experience of all the other paying customers. Good luck staying in business, CMX Merritt Square. Never coming back.

Educational , historical about surrounding area. First settler house on Merritt Island. Indian burial mound, fossils and more.really enjoyed this trails leads to a beautiful lagoon ! Highly recommended !

Very cute place on Pioneer day with demonstrations and vendors. Without events it's just nature trails and the oldest house in Florida on display.

Been living in the area for over 20 years and didn't know this place even existed. It is the site of the oldest building on Merritt Island and includes quite a lot of trails. The site was also occupied by Native Americans from about 5,000 BC until 1,200 AD. People lived on this site for over 6,000 years before Columbus came to the West Indies. The only negative about Sam's House is that dogs are not allowed on the property.

Awesome trails upkept very well. There was a surprising amount of exhibits as well to teach us about early Brevard County. We will be going again!

We came for the coin hunt. We found 3 of the locations, and there were no coins on the nails, kinda disappointing. The mosquitos were HORRIBLE, we needed a warning, we were there 10 minutes, and have numerous bites, that's with bug spray. Alittle heads up would be nice. The vistor center was closed, so we couldn't inform anyone about the coins being gone, or ask about the mosquito situation. Besides that it was fairly nice -Sincerely, a local

Great walking trails, can hike to a spot and see Port St.John from the riverside or take a longer hike to Pine Island conservation area.

A free hidden and amazing gem. It has Walking trails, Brevard's oldest house and an Indian Burial ground. It also has a good educational walking tour.

My wife and I celebrated our seven year wedding anniversary yesterday and we had an amazing time horseback ride with our tour guide Ella. This is my first time ever being on a horse and it was very relaxing And informative first ride for myself. Ella made it very comfortable and she was very supportive with me being a first time writer, and she allowed my wife who was a little more experienced to be more of an independent rider and have more autonomy with her horse. Overall, we can’t wait to come back and bring our daughter!!

We have a blast at Romelia Farms! We’re definitely going back in the future, all stuff are very friendly and knowledgeable of all their animals, Ava was our tour guide for the horse ride for my daughter, she loved it, she did it twice, and did so great for being her first time riding a horse, we definitely bringing family/friends back so they can check this amazing place out :)

Would recommend 10 out of 10! Lina was an absolute DREAM to work with. The amount of time and care that went into making our wedding day everything we dreamed of, was more than we could have ever expected or asked for. Lina truly made us feel like we were taken care of! Our guests RAVED about the venue! There was plenty of room for out 100 guest count. The venue also photographed VERY well! All in all, our wedding day was amazing. A HUGE shout out to Lina and the hard working staff!

I just had my wedding there 1-1-22 and it was amazing. Lina and Jeremy were very helpful from the start. They made sure to have everything I wanted for the big day. They made my husband and Is day amazing. The decorations were exactly what I wanted. I loved everything about this venue. The staff who help were very friendly in helping for the day of set up. Also if you love tacos they had and awesome catering company cater tacos they were amazing. Just everything about this place is a dream come true! I would recommend this venue to everyone. If you need a place for an event or wedding this is your place go and schedule a tour. 💝

Wow great place. A lot of animals and reasonably Priced. Out tour guide was amazing. Cannot remember her name I think elle idk was very knowledgeable. Started to rain and now have vouchers to go back on another day. Highly recommended

One of the most unique farms in Florida. They definitely have many unique animals and seems to be very well taken care of. Tour guide is included in the ticket. The tour guide was very informative and knew facts about each animal. My husband loved petting the very friendly EMU. I would recommend wearing long pants to avoid mosquitoes, but overall a very fun experience getting to know more about these animals!

Visited here for a birthday party for a few close friend's kids. Never been here before but very easy to find. Parking is on the grass and there is one road in and out so just be safe when coming in/leaving. Staff are very friendly and seem knowledgeable about their creatures and professional at all times. There's work being done on the fencing and such but it's out of the way and looks good. Animals look well cared for and it was fun to feed and pet some. The hay ride is a little short but I enjoyed the walking. My only real concern was the cows stepping in the trough to reach out for food. I know the creatures stand in it and that's normal, but I would have felt better if it was weighed down more where the cow didn't make it lift up. Just a personal preference for safety with the animals after having worked around horses in my childhood.

So much fun! We did an unplanned visit and absolutely loved it! They had so many animals, some I’d never even heard of that we were able to pet and see and the kiddos loved it! We were able to go on a hay ride as well which was really fun! The guide did an incredible job and it was very affordable as well! Loved the horse back riding!

Romelia Farm is off the beaten path on Merritt Island, hidden behind single homes. It is a relatively small sanctuary with common farm animals, and some exotic animals ( camels, zebra, kangaroo). They offer horse rides and a short hay ride tour were one can pet the common farm animals. Although it was a fine experience, it needed a bit more attractions for the price. Pros: - Great for young kids to pet the animals and feed them. - Pony ride ( horse) for kids. - Tour horse rides for teens and adults. - Event venues for barn like feel. Cons: - Price is on the higher end $~19 for adults, and a little less for kids (Free if 2 or under). For the type of experience. - Not much to offer besides experiences stated above. - Entrance and signs are not easily visible nor work personal.

This is a small family farm but is worth the time. You will get to interact with several animals and you are also able to feed several of them. The horse back ride was great for a first timer. Saw a few animals in the wild while on horse back. Price for the tour was reasonable, horse ride was a little expensive in my opinion but it was worth it to me.

This was the first year our boys attended summer camp and they will be back next year! To say they had a blast is an understatement! They learn so much about the animals and loved help caring for them! Such a wonderful place. Staff are incredible. We visit throughout the year and now summer camp will be a staple. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful educational experience!

Great staff, great place, great experiences. We went to a Bday party of my daughter's friend. They had a blast, petting zoo, feeding rare animals, horseback riding trail, etc. These people have this place running MUCH nicer than the previous people. Hopefully visitors can help sustain it.

Our tour guide Mel was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Kids got to feed some of the animals and they loved the pony ride. The white macaw even said "hi" to us

I had my wedding here at this beautiful venue last November of 2022, it was three days after a hurricane hit and they still managed to keep the place looking so beautiful, I also got to take photos with any animal on the farm I wanted , I chose the sloth of course! What a great experience!! and their bridal cabins were just BEAUTIFUL!! Lina is so great to work with. Thank you Romelia Farms for my DREAM wedding.

We had a lot of fun at Romelia! Their petting zoo is pretty great. They have a ton of different animals, pretty impressive really. My six year old daughter enjoyed feeding the animals and they had some great food trucks there for the fall festival they were having that day. Pro tip: There are three sizes for animal feed. The small is plenty big to feed all the animals!

We took our kindergarten class from Viera Elementary School to Romelia Farms on a field trip this fall. It was so well organized, has friendly staff members, and is in a gorgeous location! The kids loved going on a tractor/hay ride, feeding the animals, and eating lunch in their event barn. They had a pumpkin patch set up and the kids enjoyed going on the see saws and playground area, too! Organizing the event was very easy. Jeremy and Lina were there to help through the entire process! We’re definitely planning another trip next fall! Parents, students and teachers have been raving about the great time they had!

Attended goat yoga with my two daughters ages 16 & 12 and it was fantastic!! So much fun! We did the petting zoo tour after the yoga and it was a blast! I definitely recommend!!
