This place is good to time spend, and learn about our history. If you want to go there then take care to your bikes in parking for helmets and your luggage, speakers and standard is not allowed in fort. You can carry on the camera take a separate ticket for your camera. Understanding you can take a guide just for 500 or 1000 and 1500 rs. We are from Thane/Mumbai and this was my first visit to Hyderabad and to the Golconda fort. We had a really thrilling and wonderful experience at the site. Firstly, the day luckily was amply breezy, so architecturally beautiful and the scenic beauty was evident as we climbed to the top, nearly 700 plus steps. The site has been kept clean and the caves and rooms provide a cool shade for the brief pauses as one climbs to the top. It really is a photographer's delight!!

Good place for a few hours outing. Bring water with you else it will be hard to find on the way up. Most of the areas are well maintained. Parking and wheelchair access is there but not ideal for wheelchair use. Great view of the city from the top. Go during the afternoon for better pictures. Though morning and noon will be less crowded.

This is one marvellous fort. We had taken a guide which had costed us around 1K. The guide was the one which made the tour worth it. Knowing all the history and various architectural marvel was really great. One should definitely book a guide. Overall a must visit. P.S. book your tickets online to save 5 rupees per head.

Nice place to visit if you are in Hyderabad. The evening light and sound show is under repair hence we couldn't watch it. This happens in evening 6:30. Make sure you check it's website before planning for this show. Fort is big and has good history. Make sure you either read book or better take a tourist guide along. There are places where even if you whisper the sound travels more than a kilometre. Very thoughtful how in history people actually used knowledge of science which we just read and never use. Simple concepts but executed in perfection. You do not have washrooms here. So take care.

I visited this fantastic place for the first time in my life. The whole place is really good and the view from the top is non- forgettable. One small problem is the pungent smell on the top of the fort.yiu can see the whole city from this place. Get your water bottles before climbing, because sometimes shops are close inside the fort and they have only two shops at the height.

A must visit place to visit due to its historical significance. You should visit the fort in day time and avoid entering it after 4pm as the fort closes at 5.30pm in the evening. You will need around 2 to 3 hours and keep some food handy with you, you will not get anything except drinking water at the fort. It is recommended to visit during the second half of the day and then continue with a sound and light show at the fort to know its rich cultural history.

Most of these palaces and mosques are in ruins now, but still depict the magnificence of this place. If you are in Hyderabad, then you mustn't miss this place. There is a light and sound show in the evening. You can take the light and sound show tickets at around 5.30 PM. Paid parking is available, and parking fee is Rs. 50/-. Entry fee for this fort is Rs. 25/- per head and free for children. Also they only take cash for tickets, UPI or card payment not available, also they expect exact ticket amount, so one need to carry exact change.

Wow what an ancient fort to come to in India, absolutely full of rich history. I highly recommend to come and take a guide tour with more information. Golconda Fort is definitely a must-visit place when you are in Hyderabad which is 8 to 10km away from the main city. The entry ticket is 25₹ and you require at least 2 to 3 hours to explore the Fort completely. To understand the Fort and its history in detail you may hire a guide. The Fort and area are very well maintained but ruined by the so-called tourists by throw plastics everywhere. The Fort area is very big and requires hiking to reach the top, be enough hydrated and carry a water bottle along with you. The best time to visit is either morning or post 4 to avoid the sunburns. I love visiting the Forts as I feel the history in each and every corner of it. Inside the Fort, you will find many photogenic corners. Elderly with knee or leg pain stay away as you cannot return as it a one way stair once started will have to go to the top . Once on top will have to return as well . The view from the top is magnificent. And is worth all the efforts . The surrounding is packed with shops and sellers . There is a tea shop do get tea from there and the famous Hyderabad biscuits . There is a mix biscuits box which has all the flavors . They do t allow bags so either don’t take bags or sacs else keep it as the deposit station for 20 rs an hour . It’s a no vehicle done do have to park a bit far and then walk .

I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited, I’d encourage you to avoid them too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the center of the action. There are so many market sellers, although none are too pushy, live performances, and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great; there are so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended.

One of the places not to be missed while in Hyderabad. It is most beautiful at night. We were not able to go inside, but the light up was so beautiful, it was worth it. The area around Charminar is a very busy shopping place. Main business being jewellery and bangles. The bangle stores will dazzle you with their bright display pieces. The monument still needs better handling. You can easily visit the place using public buses, or other transport based on your preference.

A beautiful place that acts as a Time Machine. I felt transported hundreds of years back as I stood admiring the breath-taking view of the Charminar. The bazaar surrounding the structure is vibrant and offer unique traditional items and an unbelievably affordable price. The roads are narrow and too crowded. But surprisingly I felt good about the crowd! Bargaining skills are highly valued here and one can get great discounts with good bargaining. I wish there was a bit more cleanliness here considering he fact that it is the icon of Hyderabad. Be prepared to face heavy traffic as you approach the minar due to narrow roads. I would recommend coming in an auto or two-wheeler to get the best experience. Also, be aware of pickpockets and thieves. The market is amazingly vibrant, so make sure to explore the various bangles and artificers that are on display. Overall, a great place and a must visit!

Visited A Star Place recently and the experience left me with mixed feelings. Worth a visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad - it is around 1 1/2 hours drive from City Centre. Gives an idea as to how films are made and sets are constructed. Need to either reach by around 9 am or stay there in one of the hotels inside the previous evening as you need a full day to see everything. Even a full day is a bit rushed. Best to pick up tickets ('Studio Tour' is good enough) online, go to the centre point (Eureka), attend the opening ceremony at 9.45 am, proceed to Studio Tour/Eco Tour (must do), have lunch, then go for the shows. Don't miss the Wild West Stunt Show! Lights, Camera, Action is interesting too. Rest of the shows are average, especially for someone who has been to other studios/sets elsewhere. Food within RFC is average or even below average. RFC can make the experience better by putting up their detailed e-brochure, program and map on their website. Their email IDs and contact numbers on the website are unresponsive and this is an issue they should address. They should also plant more trees! Overall, it is a nice experience while on a Hyderabad trip but considering the resources, the management can do so much more to make it a 'must see before I die' experience.

Awesome place to hangout with friends or family. I visited in carnival season. Amazing sets. So beautiful. Full day trip with all sets and adventure park . Zip line, Arrow shooting, rain dancing, and many more games. You can book online and definitely skip the hectic queue.they are having their own shiny red buses inside to travel from one set to other. Food and water available inside. Very clean washrooms .kids have their own playing area with some rides and a great entertainment show with jinn , wonderful staff will show beautiful play to your child and will make them laugh. Last, you can enjoy many rides in their amusement area and enjoy snacks over there.

Fantastic experience. Car parking is near to ticket counter. Smooth entry and no waiting for bus. It takes about 15 minutes to actual Film City from ticket counter. Thereafter everything is arranged and organised so well that it becomes a day to remember. The volunteers are polite and helpful guiding the tourists all day long. Besides many film sets, there are plenty of parks and they are maintained impeccably. The cleanliness all around is outstanding and kudos to all who maintain it. The shows are all good and try not to miss them. Small food kiosks are available at every site and reasonably priced. Washrooms are very very clean. Moreover, drinking water is available at every place and one need not carry water bottles. The free rides offered in park are awesome. Moving around in customized red buses is special. Top class! I was surprised that we have places like this in India. Very well organized right from the time you enter the parking. All the shows were superb. If you don't want to miss anything, reach there early - it takes one full day. Towards the end there is butterfly park and collection of beautiful birds - they even have Ostriches. Cafeterias are clean and food is okay. When you reach, don't forget to take the bus tour first, that way you will know how much you are actually going to see and you can plan your time spent at each attraction properly. A must visit place. The ticket rates are extremely reasonable. In fact, towards the end, I heard so many people say the tickets are priced so low considering what they have on offer. Totally worth it!!!

A full on entertainment. Must place to visit for all age groups. The longer you stay the better it is. Tough to cover in one day. There are movie sets, parks, gardens, actions, dance sequences, horror house, food joints and full of adventure. Area wise it’s very big but there are buses from the pick up point which takes you inside.

It is a very good place for people who have seen the movies and love to explore the sets. Overall it is not worth the ticket price. All the items here are overpriced. The items in the adventure park are also way too costly. And the complementary ones are of no use. The food is good. The bus system is also a bit wierd. The buses only leave when there is a significant amount of crowd in the bus. But otherwise it was a good experience.

Must visit while in Hyderabad. Located around 60 kms from main Hyderabad city. Spread over 1600 acres. They have buses from the parking area to the film city and back. Multiple buses are in service. Full day tickets, morning or evening session tickets are available. Very well organized and staff are always helpful and advice where to go after every show. The usual waiting time is 15 to 20 minutes for the shows. Multiple food stalls are available everywhere in the film city. Food is costlier compared to hotels but still cheaper than malls. Buses are available from point to point and are always available. Need at least a full day to cover all the places. The important thing is people will start getting tired by 4 pm since we need to walk a bit within the studios even though buses are there.

If you are going to Hyderabad and not visiting "Ramoji Film City" then you should think 2Wice. So being an Indian we all have lots of influence of Indian Cinema Directly or indirectly on our life's through music, comedy, films, stories or any other way. So Ramjoji gives us the insight what goings on the other sides of the screen and how they shows us larger then life characters, scenes, actions. Its worth the price for sure. You need a whole day to explore and you should start early with the opening ceremony and you should stay till closing ceremony. Staff puts lots of efforts for sure to make sure we are having fun in a cinematic style. Few things which they lack or its not worth is the food they sell inside. Had very bad experience with this. Being so pricy they don't deliver the kind so service you expect and even the food quality is not that great. Specially buffets are not watched for the hygiene or the cleanliness. It's a must visit for everyone to see the world's largest film studio. Management is doing a good job, they keep providing the helpful information to see and help all the way from beginning to end. Drinking water and toilet facilities available at every place whereever you are going to need. It's once in a lifetime experience. There are lots of things to see and experience in one day , difficult to see cover everything in one day, still you can manage to see all if you will hurry. Food is expensive inside though , they should keep it reasonable, lots of people are coming here everyday .

One of the most entertaining places in Hyderabad for both adults and kids. There are different movie sets along with railway station, airport, shopping areas, some of the Indian and world famous monuments, many gardens, birds park with variety of interesting birds, butterfly and bonsai gardens, many different plants and flower gardens, restaurants, kids related entertainment and shows like Spirit of Ramoji, Action Show, Movie Making, Space Yatra, Rain Dance etc. It took us almost 9 hours to see most of the places. The Star Experience package was great.

Good place for family entertainment. Please book tickets in advance. You can either opt for full day trip or even a night stay where they have 3 different hotels available within premises. Provide food(lunch) and high tea both of which were upto the mark. Lots of places to visit. Dance show, stunt show, movie making show, botanical gardens, shooting sets, bahubali set, airplane and train setup, kids entertainment area and finally rides & musical show. Absolute fun.

The most beautiful and well maintained and most cleanest temple. It is on the top of the hill. Need to use approx 200 stairs. But steps are not so big. Convenient for old age people also. There is lift also. Cameras not allowed inside. View from temple are amazing especially in rainy season.

One of the best temple in Hyderabad, it is lord balaji temple, It is on top of hill, so you need to take approximately 200stairs, But steps are not so big so it’s convenient for old age people, There is a lift. Hussain Sagar Lake in walking distance. The place was a bit crowded during the weekend but it's worth going.

I visited first the Birla temple of God Venkateshwar.The temple was just Wow...😍✨it is fully build with marbles i have got to hear that it Is made with so much of tons of marble. Beautiful Baaji Temple on a small hill adjacent to Hussain Sagar & behind New Hyderabad Secretariat. Idols in the temple are very Devine. There is a lift available for Senior Citizens to reach temple top instead of walking through stairs. At night we can view the chain of lights of the Necklace Roads around Hussain Sagar Lake. As camera not allowed we couldn't take photos of it from temple top.

The temple is on a hill and doesn't allow taking photos inside. It has lots of stairs, which might be tough for older folks. But it's totally worth it because Lord Balaji is there. Plus, you get an awesome view of the city from the top, which is really cool. Overall, it's a great experience!

It is one of the best museums I have ever visited. It is a huge one and can get your whole day to see it all. I will recommend buying tickets in advance from BMS especially on weekends. There are plenty of collections of almost everything which you can think of for museums. The paintings are eye-catching. There are also some monuments which are pleasing to the eyes and also many of them are from foreign country cultures. I will definitely recommend a visit there.

One of the big museums in India. Variety of collections of old-age India kept here. You need to buy tickets before entering. One of the best things is that Soldier Clock at the time of 12 o'clock. Western block & Eastern Block, two parts are there. It needs 3-4 hours to visit the whole museum.

The place is great for history and art enthusiasts. It was full packed down on Saturday when I visited. People come with full families. There are so many attractions in the museum. We waited for the musical clock but it was not that worth it. But, the elephant tusk section is really good, though. Metal section is also really good. It's way way better than the museum at Chowmahalla Palace. The cafeteria is okay, you will get everything but would have to pay good money. Not enough space, it was total chaos at the cafeteria. Although, there is a restaurant, it was outside the main museum building. Visit on a weekday if you want to explore peacefully but I have heard, its mostly crowded everyday.

A museum that is really nicely kept up. Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for youngsters gets you a ticket. It's reasonable that they charge 50 rupees for each mobile. The museum houses unique collections of art and collectibles from around the world 🌎. The museum is set out neatly, with each level has a different set of rooms.

This is probably the best museum I have visited in India. We visited during Christmas break and the place was full. There was a long line for tickets which took about 20 minutes. It is possible to buy tickets online which I recommend if you go during public holidays. The museum is pretty big and the collections are fantastic. I found the Asian collection and also the literature collection to be very impressive. There are other rare collections like a carpet collection which might interest some people. If you like art, don't miss this museum.

For more details, the authority offers an app for an audio enabled guided tour. I haven't tried the same, but someone availed that the facility can comment on how helpful it is. Do not forget to sit on the chairs in front of the famous manual musical clock to capture the hourly chimes. Ivory room, clock room, and the double faced sculpture Mephistopheles & Margaretta are must watch.

A very well maintained museum. The ticket prices are very less just Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for children. They are charging 50 rs per mobile which I feel is fine. The museum is well organized with different rooms on a separate level. The main attraction is the veiled Rebecca and Cuckoo clock. They have provided a floor map on each ticket which is kind of helpful. They have a food court which has a lot of food items and it is required since one can spend the whole day in this museum. For kids there is a lot of learning going through each room and I can see the excitement in the kids faces. The museum houses unique collections of art and collectibles from around the world.

Located near MG Road metro,this place is a gem of Hyderabad. Entry fee is 50 rs, but will recommend to spend another 50 bucks for camera ticket as mobile phones are not allowed inside. The museum boosts of one of the greatest collections of the world. The place demands minimum 3-4 hours if you want to at least just visit every part of the museum. The museum has collection from different parts of the world. Veiled Rebbeca and singing clock are the two most sought after attractions of the museum. Overall verdict - definitely recommended.

Good place to visit. All the artifact's are stored nicely. Musical clock is the major attraction. Lift facility should be provided for senior citizens and disabled people. Food court to be improved. More seating to be added and counters should also be added at least on holidays. Over all good place to visit.

Certainly a great place for kids and adults to get a peak into the history. To think that this collection is by a single person is simply amazing. The place is nicely maintained, food courts have good tasty food reasonably priced.

It's a massive museum having different artifacts from different regions. I really loved the place and feel good to know about our history. There are several sections such as french, Japanese, Chinese and of course Indian history. I would suggest booking tickets online. Overall the experience was good

Great museum with such a wide collection of exhibits and paintings. Even the architecture is beautiful and the entry fee is also very affordable with it being 50rs. The one drawback is for each phone or camera you have to pay extra to take inside. The canteen is good too. Overall a good space with such a unique collection and well maintained.

Absolutely love this place. If you're a history enthusiast, then this place is a heaven. They have a very vast yet finer collection of pieces. The art gallery is astounding. Words seriously cannot describe the brilliance of this place.

Museum of good collection. Situated in center of city near to Charminar and Nehru Zoological park. China clay vases bronze statues European paintings and musical clock are the main attraction. Spend a whole day then you can watch it completely.

Ive been visiting this place on and off since I was a kid. Always mesmerized by the collection held here. Although, this particular time it was a bit disappointing to see the state of the building. Perhaps some care can be shown to modernize the display cases specially on the ground floor to really show how impressive this collection is. The pieces are beyond impressive but presentation let's them down a little bit.

Such a huge and vast museum. So many things to see many historical things are kept here. Parking charges for bikes are 20 rupees and entry tickets for Indian adults - 50, child - 20 and for mobile and camera they charge 50 also. I think that's ok. The mobile ticket will get access to use the audio guide for the museum and I think that's a good integration and it makes the ticket worth it and justify the pricing. In this huge museum you have to pay for everything even for the washroom. Online tickets are a little complicated. Otherwise everything goes smoothly.

The museum has such a beautiful collection, which unfortunately contrasts with the state of the building it is hosted in. The place is not kept clean and is rundown. On a normal day, the museum is very overcrowded, to the point it is difficult to enjoy the beautiful displays. There is a cafeteria that feels unhygienic and lacks things like a Coke Zero. As for tickets, there is no online booking, quite some queues to get tickets on arrival, and you need to buy separate “phone tickets” if you wish to take pictures. The main attraction is an old English clock. Beautiful museum, but didn’t really enjoy the day there.

Beautiful well maintained historic artifacts. I loved the brass room, glass room. Dresses worn in those times. A beautiful very old clock chime was the pinnacle of my visit...about 100 sat in utter silence for the hourly chime and then a thunderous applause of the audience.

Good to see at night with lights. The surroundings like Lumbini garden and secretariat with lights looks nice from the middle of the lake. Lake water smells though.

The entire lake is surrounded by fun activities and refreshments. It a boiling pot of Indian culture, with people of diverse origins sharing a place. The tourist destinations include a bunch of very well maintained parks and gardens, religious sites and amusement parks. Keeping in mind the necessity of maintaining a well-rounded decorum for the young people, there is the sanjeevaiah children's park only allowing children inside. The flowers all around the lake are impressively maintained by the authority. The ghats are mostly dirty though, but anyways you can have a good time taking walks and enjoying the sunset.

TankBund is a place where you can enjoy the view if only you visit early in the morning. With years there has been a decent improvement in cleanliness to seating arrangement. The water is serene but not completely clean. Hyderabad needs a lot of improvement in regard to cleanliness and throwing of waste. People throw here and there even after seeing the trash buckets. There should be a law passed for this specifically - maybe there can be a change in regard to cleanliness. Otherwise you can enjoy the fresh air and have a calm family time.

I went in morning, and boating was not started. I enjoyed the moment of pride which I felt after seeing our Indian flag. Wonderful.

Hussain Sagar was built across a tributary of the Musi river in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. The lake was named after Hussain Shah Wali, who was the Master of Architecture in the Kingdom. It is an artificial lake that holds water perennially fed by canals from Musi river. Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar were built on river Musi. The Buddha statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years. The statue was transported to Hyderabad in November 1988. After initial problems, the statue was erected on 12 April 1992 on a red lotus pedestal.

A beautiful place to visit at night and boating is a must do stuff. The view is so nice. But don't expect that you can sit nearby the lake and enjoy it while putting your legs in it. Boundaries are all over the lake and also the water is kinda black, not clean enough but it doesn't stink at all. A must visit place
