The Western Development Region was one of Nepal's five development regions. It was located in the west-central part of the country, with its headquarters located in Pokhara. This Development Region was divided into three parts, from south to north in order of increasing altitude: Terai, Hilly and Himalayan. Wikipedia.

I am originally from Pokhara Nepal. It should be fine honestly because there are too many options. There are air Bnbs available as well. When I went back home last year i used the app called Oyo to check out the accomodations. Edit: its not really an answer to your question but it might help you while you stay in Nepal
