One of the best beaches to visit as it is very lively and it's pretty well maintained. The beach and water here is real attractive with all kinds of water sports. Do not ever take any combo as they just give you small rides and there is no value for money. People are everywhere ready to make a fool of you. This is by far known to be Goa to most of the people who come to Goa for a vacation. To the fact its not so but yes it has the biggest parking lot I have seen in all the beaches I have visited in goa plus its most crowded beach ⛱️ 365 days of the year. The shacks are filled with all sorts of people from young to all oldies. I found this place a little less on hygiene and cleanliness. This doesn't bother people who are party animals but to others who have not come just for parties.

During my stay we had early morning walks at 5:30 AM to Baga Beach. The sun barely peeking over the horizon, casting an orange glow. The sand, cool and damp under bare feet. Cleanliness here is good to average depending on time. Breathtaking view of the ocean with boats at distant. We built sandcastles hearing the sound symphony of ocean waves and birds chirping. Ambience so mesmerizing giving peace and bliss like meditation. At Night it is chaotic with DJ sounds and Nightlife lights. At night you would be asked every now and then for Bars, Tatoo or Hookah here by waiters and agents. If you want to truly experience this beach just lace up shoes in early morning when it is still dark. It was a soul rejuvenating experience for me in early morning.

However the beach is pretty crowded and once it’s 6pm the venues start competing next to each other with crazy high volumes of music. Some might describe it as torture. This is the second main beach after Baga. Actually both are in same lane. All the water sport activities are done here. Morning vibes are too good. Dolphin rides are also available.but you have to early morning for that. Otherwise you see nothing. Parking is available at main entrance for Rs. 50. Evening water rides are awesome. Max allowed time will 5 PM. Get into water ride before that and watching sunset there will be a pure bliss.

The market outside the beach is quite big and you can have lots of food options to choose from. Parking for 2 wheelers is paid🥱 costs Rs. 30-50 (April 2024).

Nice Place. This place holds a lot of historical importance. It's considered sacred for the people. For general visitors you get to see the central podium from a side queue. They have the sacred body of their Saint. The internal and external architecture is quite marvelous. Even if there was a queue it doesn't take much time for the visit. Do not go if you are looking for a spiritual experience. This place has a good architecture but it’s too crowded due to over tourism and you will not get a good prayer experience. For prayers and other rituals, they keep the tourists away. If you are a tourist and want to pray peacefully at your own convenience this place is not for you. The place is really unique and has its importance in History. As per Google and everywhere timings mentioned are till 6:30 PM. But the place is open till 5:00 PM only. It's far away place and many people were coming with the same issue and were quite disappointed with it. Information and Public transport is really a big issue in Goa.

A beautiful church to visit in Goa. We visited during new year time, heavy rush was there. We even waited for some time in queue to enter the church but it was all worth it 💯. (Note:- we also saw some guides outside the church. If we are willing to give them an amount like 200 or so, they will take us inside without even standing in queue and will give you a tour around church. Not sure if it's worth or not) One of a kind church with such a great history and beautiful views. Also we were fortunate enough to see the remains of Saint Francis Xavier. A small art museum was also seen within the church in first floor with an entry fee of 10 rupees, showcasing old photos of church and statues of other saints giving us a brief idea about history.

The Aguada lighthouse is definitely worth visiting, it will take a maximum of an hour depending on the time of your visit. We visited in peak summer post lunch, it was scorching hot. But we had good time as the heat was tolerable and we were equipped to beat the heat. The Fort is open at 9:30 am to 6:30 pm on all days of the week, its well maintained and during our visit the garden landscaping was in progress, which looked promising. The fort also features a high tower or citadel and apparently there is a secret passage running from the tower down through the fort, which we didn't get a chance to explore. What was intriguing was the name of the fort, 'Aguada' meaning watery in Portuguese, and apparently there was/is a fresh water spring on the location which was source of water for the sailors during 1600s. Fascinating!

It's my 3rd visit to this fort. Multiple new things added to improve the tourist experience. Drinking water and toilets are available. 25 rupees entry fee for the monument and 30 rupees for bike parking! Entry closes 30 minutes prior sunset. Great view of Panji city and ocean...

Best place. A jail turned into museum. It gives an insight into Goa's history and cultures from the same prison cells where freedom fighters were held captive. They have nice, fun and interactive way of educating people. If in Goa you need to visit this place once to know more of Goa's history and culture

The fort is an immense knowledge book. But as any historical place it needs time and a good guide. If you are running short of time, you may not like the fort and it's surroundings. The surrounding area needs 3-6 hours to explore depending on your fitness level. The fort takes about an hour to roam at peace . The water cooler was not working during my time. Their are plenty of food stalls outside to take care for your food, water and juices. You will need to walk and in the sun it can be really hot. The fort is divided in various sectors. The vehicle reaches only the top part. For the other sector one needs to trek around. Best time to trek is early in the morning just before sunrise. Best time to visit the lighthouse which is next to fort is evening.

The main attractions of the fort were the reservoir and lighthouse. Sadly, both were closed. I just wish I could see the inside of the reservoir and lighthouse. Other than these unique landmarks, aguada fort is not different from the usual forts. The history seemed interesting and the view was beautiful. But seriously though? Why did you close the reservoir? This fort will be a lot more interesting if only they have opened the reservoir and lighthouse.

This is only worth a visit for the great view of the sea. I went on a weekday, so it wasn't very crowded. Wear your hats & caps, because there isn't any shade inside the fort premises so it can get really hot. Overheard a bunch of tourists regretting visiting the place in October and wondering if they should've come in December. You also need to club Fort Aguada with a bunch of other activities around the area (which I did), because exploring the fort takes about 20-30 minutes max. And unless you get lucky with pleasant weather, or carry a massive picnic umbrella, you really can't spend more time than that.

A very good place for beautiful photos and backdrops. Children will enjoy a lot running round and round. There are a number of eateries outside the place. This fort is very nice and one can visit this along with the light house which ia near by. There is entry fees to enter the place and one can explore the place by walking everywhere. There are different spots to view different views and one can spend their time watching them and clicking pictures. It is a huge fort with lots of apace in the middle.A historical monument. This is near Candolim, there is a entry fee for this place which need to be brought at the entrance, there is a walk up to get into the fort, while entering one can see the pictures of the freedom struggle & before and after photos. There is a good view of the sea. There are free public restrooms & drinking water facility.

Excellent place if the weather allows it to be. The place has its own simple history, but the local guides seemed to make things up, including calling a water tank an underground jail. This place is a must visit in overcast conditions. The lighting is just right and you can expect great photos on the sea facing wall of the fort.

Very informative place. A minimum of 3 hours is a must to explore all the information. A smart way of QR codes on every area to get a voice note on the history of the location. Must have a smart phone through the journey. Carry a bottle of water and a cap for the informative journey.

Very beautiful fort situated above the hill top, ticket price will 25 rupees per person and parking for a bike 50 rupees. We can enjoy breathtaking views from the fort. This is build by British era maintenance was good, washrooms and drinking water facilities available here. We can take tickets directly when entering the fort.

This fort has got a lovely sea view point and even the maintenance around is really good. It’s a lovely place to spend time around and it has even got a greener lawn outside the fort. It has hygienic drinking water facility too! Kudos to the maintenance staff 👏🏻 They charge 25/- as an entry fee for Indian Tourists and 300/- for Foreign Tourists.

Visited this fort on 14th April 2024. Fort is clean and beautiful. Must visit this fort during evening time. Just to note to everyone, there is a parking fee for the vehicles. They takes 25 and 50 rupees respectively for 2 and 4 wheelers. Also, there is entry fee for each person to enter into the fort.

One of the places to visit with family in Goa. There is nothing special just a traditional fort with some photos. You will get some good photos here as it's a scenery place. Parking fee is 50 for per two wheeler. Try to visit in the evening. In the afternoon , there will be very hot which makes you very tired. The drinking water pipes are there in the entry place.

Last time I visited this place there was no proper walking pathway or ticketing or parking system and this was 10.years back. But recently it has been developed and maintained very nicely. Must visit for a sunset view. But nothing much inside the fort but can be part of a to do list. The drive to this place is pleasant and it's uphil. Walking is not recommended. Parking is 50 bucks for a bike and 30 bucks entry per person. Closes at 6PM sharp.
