Taal Volcano is an active volcano located in the southern part of Luzon, the Philippines' main and biggest island group. It has erupted many times these past few yeas (perspective is from 2022) and has caused problems to many of the towns and residents around it. The volcano is within the territory of at least two provinces, Cavite and Batangas. Still, despite its volatile nature, Taal Volcano is a beautiful place that easily reminds us of the power of natural forces. When calm, it offers a picturesque view that you can enjoy from afar, or take a guided tour within the volcanic island. It is near the capital and accessible if you want a break. It is just a 1 to 2 hour drive away from the National Capital Region. It is a must see when in Luzon! Before going, it is good to check the current situation of the volcano since authorities do not allow activities within the volcanic island when there is an eruption.

Didn't go... only looked it up to see exactly where it was located as it was erupting 😮. Lots of smoke coming out. Turns out we are 60km away, so no big deal for us, but lots of people living just 10km away. There they canceled school and many people had breathing problems. 🙏 for them. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for nature and mother earth 🌎 at its best and worst.

Not sure where other reviewers have been, as you are not currently able to land on the Island. It has been "off limits" since 2021, but MAY re-open in April. That said, the drive down the hillside to get to the village was very interesting, as was the drive around the lake to Taal. We were quoted 5,000 pesos for an hour boat ride or 6,000 for 2 hours which would go right around the Island - we declined. It was worth the trip for the drive and the view but disappointed we couldn't actually visit the Island. On the plus side, there were virtually no other tourists

Beautiful place to visit before the recent explosion. Experienced horse backriding going to the top near the crater. Visit the place near the crater what they called red lava, where the ground is color red due to the heat coming below the volcano. Practice your golf stroke with one ball to the crater with a 100 pesos fee..

Like most we climbed to the edge of the crater and it is a bit of a frightening site as it is one of the most active volcanoes in the country and has erupted numerous times in the past. Actually it is composed of a main crater and several smaller craters. The Main Crater Lake is approximately 2 kilometers in diameter and contains a small island called Vulcan Point. This point is the site of a number of volcanic vents and is considered to be the most active part of the volcano.

Worth it First take a cab to the nearby island. Then take a boat to the volcano. Then come up to the top and then climb down inside the crater. Long long long journey but worth every second of it You would visited an active volcano. In the crater it still smells of sulphur so please decide accordingly how close you want to get to that place without suffocating yourself it feeling nauseousness Helpful guide and prepare for the climb if you are a chain smoker. Not going to be easy. But go for it for sure after checking all regulations and weather and timings to visit the volcano

News of the phreatic eruption of Taal Volcano yesterday (12 Jan 2020) made me think of the trip to the crater we took 12 years ago (in 2008). From Tagaytay, we rode down to the lakeside and took a boat to the volcano. From the shore, we rode on horseback up to the crater of the volcano within a volcano and the view was just ... breathtaking! I hope that after the dust settles, Taal Volcano will recover its beauty. I'm optimistic, though -- look at Mt. Pinatubo. Nature has a way of taking care of herself.

What a view...it kills my curiosity. My family went and visit there and I am truly amazed with what we saw. A great place for bonding and relaxation. Since we had not brought something to eat while staying there...well viewing and spotting a nice resting place is what you can do instead. Visit now and you'll enjoy it a lot.

Beautiful views, if you go on a day that isn't absolutely packed with people. The volcano 🌋 is an awesome sight, and to think that it isn't that far off land. Kids had fun riding the horses. My youngest wanted to do the zip line, but there were too many people in line and also down below, which could be dangerous if someone dropped their phone or camera into a huge crowd. All in all, it was a good day, and fun was had. I would love to come back on a clearer day.

A family friendly picnic place for nature lovers. This place will give you the majestic view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano while sitting in the grass or in the picnic huts and enjoying your good food. You can also try their zip line and horseback riding. The entrance fee is very cheap so expect the long line in the cashier as they are doing the ticketing manually. I hope they can upgrade their process. Currently, they are doing some rehabilitation on the grass and some works in the landscape.

After the eruption last 2020 and the pandemic, the place is totally back in place. Tourism is alive and it is getting lively and active. The scenic view is mesmerizing. Worth to visit and to relax and clear the mind.

It is located about 50 km south of Manila. It is the perfect place for family and friends picnics. There is a lot of greenary all around There is also a small zipline and horse riding facilities. One can also go for eco-trail which is made of boardwalk and wooden bridges.. It is the nearest place from where one can see Taal Lake and might Taal Volcano. The entry fee is 75 pesos and 300 pesos for zipline. It's open daily from 7 to 7 and on Saturdays full day.

Good place to unwind and relax if you have kids. There is a wide grass area where kids can run and play. It's a nice picnic area. You can bring your own food here. There are also a lot of souvenir shops for tourists to buy to. For those who have their own car/vehicle, parking space is available.

The best view point for the magnificent Taal volcano, a unique volcano that's surrounded by a lake. A great place to take a picnic, there are also a few eateries, and even a Ferris wheel for ultimate fun.

Lovely setting and a very peaceful place away from the road. Tremendous views over the lake too. The suspension bridge is beyond being maintained, so it’s a little shabby in places. The cool breeze through the pines make this a great venue on a warm afternoon.

The view of taal lake is spectacular. When you visit this place you'll feel like you are in another planet. The activities are fun. There are a lot of available hut for picnic. The only downside I can say is the price of a food available in restaurants. It is really pricey so I suggest to just skip eating to restaurants there or just bring your own food.

75 pesos per person entrance fee! Motorbikes park for free. I think it’s worth it for the view. You can sit on the grass or walk on the skywalk for free, tables and huts cost a fee. They have zip line and Ferris wheel, but it wasn’t running when I visited (around 5pm on a weekday). Lots of shops (affordable takeout) for an impromptu picnic. We brought our own food from the nearby public market.

Great place to hang out and watch the sunset. The park is very spacious and there are lots of activities you can do here such as ziplining and horseback riding. You can also see a great view of the taal lake here.

super windy! cable car not working. ferris wheel not operational. horse riding @350 pesos per hr but within 30 mins, you'll get bored already despite of me and my 3 kids switching. food is cheap good. very scenic place to take pictures. the picnc huts are pricey. the open field is a safe place for kids to let loose and run like crazy. souvenir shops have good choices too.

It is well developed now. The skywalk is very convenient and also instagrammable. The mushrooming of souvenir shops and dining areas means that tourists arrivals are still high. The main attraction of the picnic groove is not in the property, it is the lake and volcano below. So as long as the view is not disturbed or blocked, picnic groove will always be a must-see area.

Picnic grove is the perfect place to unwind and bond with your family and friends. The scenery is very aesthetic and the place is well maintained. For me, the great time to visit picnic grove is between 3-5pm so that you can enjoy the view and able to see the beautiful sunset.

Place is good for family bonding. Kids and pet friendly and there's a lot of activities you can do there. There's a lot of parking area if you are bringing a car. Restrooms are clean and tidy. Lots of stores to buy all sorts of things.

Was a bit shocked that the used to be free-to-use cottages are now being rented. But it is understandable since maintaining the park is rather expensive. I am glad though that they are improving the place. There are also lots of horses now and they even offer boat rides to the lake.

A great place for a family outing on holidays. It is still open even during Holy Week and is perfect for relaxing. If you come by car, it is recommended to pay the parking fee when there are fewer people queuing, because there will be many people queuing when leaving in the afternoon

Its has nice view, good for picnic and gatherings. The place feels little hot due to the place is open without shade too much. You just need to buy ticket for entrance. They do offer horse riding but with additional payment. During that time theres still not much crowd. If you will go to toilet there, you will need to pay for additional payment.

Very nice place to sit down and relax after a busy day. The views are amazing and there's a lot of space. However, the little huts are nor free to use, you need to pay 250php to use them. There's a lot of space, few attractions like horseback riding, and some souvenir shops. Limited places to eat though.

It is my 2nd time here during the pandemic, and until now, EK haven't failed me in delivering a great service and experience. They are able to manage crowds even in peak hours and they never failed to sanitize each ride. Food prices are still high but it is expected. Missing the previous regular pass fee tho. Currently, their regular pass retails at 999 per person.

The kids enjoyed it!!! Oh well, even the adults. They're only open during weekends, Friday to Sunday. And I wish they could open earlier so that it won't be too hot at 11am when they open. I think 10am opening time would not be so bad. We enjoyed the rides although some rides are not open until after lunchtime. It's still not very crowded as from the pre pandemic times. Restrooms are still clean. I hope you could just put water refilling stations instead of people buying bottled water, it's more environment friendly.

I like it. It’s little but everything about attraction inside for having fun for a whole day. No matter if child or adult. Sometimes you have to pay for some attractions additional. That’s why one star is missing. I like the roller coasters and the wild water rafting. Also a lot of food is offered there. At the end of the day before the park is about to close you’ll see an amazing firework. So it’s my recommendation to stay there till the end. As soon as it’s getting dark the park is shining in it’s beautiful lights.

The security here is very strict, the moment you enter the vicinity they are going to check your bags.it is not allowed to bring any food, candies, bottled water and other drinks inside. On the other hand, they have food stalls all over the park where you can buy your food and drinks ,It's just a bit costly though. They got various rides you could choose from that depends on your liking. Most rides are for big kids and teenagers but they got few rides for smaller kids. They also got game stalls and 3D, 4D,5 D and 7D game theaters. They are also taking photos during your every ride, it's just up to you if you are going to purchase the photo. It cost P300 per photo print. They also got souvenir and gift shops all over the amusement park. Just be sure to bring extra clothes, for you can become wet with the other water wild rides that they have. Over all, we have enjoyed our few hours of stay.

Book a ticket via klook inclusive of transportation from and to SM MOA. Bringing food inside is not allowed but there are a lot of foos stalls inside. Food prices are surprisingly not too expensive. Wearing of a mask is a must. Sanitation is well done too. Staffs are friendly and approachable. Definitely worth it to visit.

It was a great experience visiting the Enchanted Kingdom. A one-Day EKspress ticket is worthy of purchasing. It will surely prevent you from queueing for a couple of minutes. The lockers are available for extra bags that you do not need while enjoying the park. Everything is sanitized before you take the ride. The park attendants are all welcoming and entertaining. Their new horror attraction, Alcatraz, is a must-visit. You have to pay P270 for its entrance and get ready to scream out of your lungs. All actors are really scary. They interact with the visitors and they strictly implement "no touching".We had a lot of fun. Indeed, we will visit the park again.

Very good value for money. A clean, and safe amusement park. Lots of fun for people of all ages. There are lots of rides, including inverted roller roller coasters, 3D movies, haunted house, etc. Every night they have a fireworks show around 6:50pm. The park closes at 8 so plan accordingly. The best part is you can enter and re-enter as many times as you want. Don’t eat at the taco stand.

Nice park not far from Metro Manila. Cool roller coaster, amazing water rides, big clean territory, lots of food and snacks variations. The staff is friendly and helpful near each attraction. The fireworks show and parade at 7pm were beautiful. But you should buy tickets in advance, and also we had an express pass. With regular tickets lines are really crazy on weekends. Although the price for express is affordable only 2200 pesos and it totally worth it. Compared to Disneyland the prices are so much cheaper.

Entrance fee moderately expensive. Come early to get enough dose of the action. Came here at 2pm so we didn't finish every ride. Birthday celebrant (for the month) gets a free pass while guests get a 10% discount. We paid onsite but you can also pay online. If you've been here before, you'll notice some changes that comes with the passage of time, especially the paint. Map is only online via QR code. There's free alcohol spray bottle to claim in many colors (yellow, pink, blue, black, brown) for the regular payee. Get it right away before it closes. There's also a 5% discount to a restaurant if you're dining. Food is cheaper than ever, like you're in a usual mall in the NCR. All the staple old rides and streets were still around, but not all are as crowded as they used to be. The areas with extra payment were deserted, probably because 100 pesos extra entrance was expensive when the stuff looks super old from a decade ago. The entire local theme park feels like a time travel back in time. If you've been here before, you'll notice the very rustic look with the old paint, so it's like Old Wild Wild West with a Korean touch on the decor. Water is cheap at 35 pesos, and most of the food were also cheap. There are several souvenir stalls around for hats and the like. Flying fiesta still nice, the old swing goes up and down and around. It's moderate and not quite going to get you dizzy. Loved the soft breeze on my face. The Rialto portion shows Mowgli's Jungle Race, one that's refreshing and worth the line. We spent 30 mins in line. There were 60 seats upstairs & 48 seats downstairs. There's a bit of water that comes out as part of the effects. The story was a bit short and left me hanging. Carousel for kids and maybe grown ups was a simple ride. Tried it for photos, can be cute here. Rio Grande Rapids, this had a long line from afternoon up to night. We came around 5pm and got in around 5:45pm If you want a picture, it's 250 pesos and you can also download the digital version. I got really wet here, but it's fine since the hot weather at night made me dry in no time. There were ponchos at 75 pesos but it looked flimsy that you're better off bringing your own raincoat if you want to. Others used the magic dryer at 150 pesos nearby. I ate takoyaki there and the snack was filling, worth a try. Went to Agila 7D building, the only one looking modern amidst everything old-style. Closes at 7pm, so we were the last ride for this 15 minute show. It's got an epic music, even going as far as saying: You have just witnessed the splendor of the Philippines. It's a good line but you can't bring any large bags inside, only a small bag can be kept for your wallet and phone. Parade? None. But the Eldar wizard went around randomly at the street near Rialto around 4pm. Fireworks quick from 7:20-7:30pm when we came. We were told it started at 7:30pm prior to taking the Agila ride but they started it earlier. Best spot to watch it is near the outdoor theater stage area and near space rocket. Ferris wheel ride finale. This one closes late, fortunately, and we got here on the last ride before 9pm. Overall, EK is okay for a quick activity for leisure.

it's good and fun here & has lots of variety of rides and foods you can pick! I suggest you should go here on a weekday so you can enjoy your regular pass but If u go here on a weekend you should avail the 1-day EKpress pass for fast line & no wasted time & can go around more. It's a fun place to be with family! The rides range from extreme to kid friendly. Other attractions are paid separately. The carousel is a classic, it never gets old. My daughter and i love it. Please bring gallons of water to break the heat, yes the hot weather. The water for sale inside is expensive. Just a friendly reminder.

We had a blast in Enchanted Kingdom. Here are top 10 tips to make sure you do so as well. 1 - buy the express ticket online, costs twice as much but totally worth it. No lines for the rides and even if you wait, it will not take hours for you to enjoy something. Also zero wait time in entering the park. Best decision I made. 2 - bring a big insulated tumbler. Trust me you will run out of water soon and it's super expensive to buy on stalls. 3 - Realto is the best ride for me, make sure you try this. 4 - Save all the dizzy rides at the end, if you still have time. You won't enjoy the park if you feel sick. Don't force yourself on rides if you think you can't handle them. 5 - not all the paid rides are worth it. The 7D kinda sucks, the go cart is fun 650 pesos for 10mins is worth it. Ride with a group not by yourself. The laser maze and others are pretty lame. 6 - bring a set of clean clothes. Trust me you will get wet and sweaty at some point. There's a bathroom stall outside the re-entry gate, dont wait in line inside. 7 - plan ahead and leave early. Best to be here during opening to make sure you experience everything. 8 - Make sure you have cash, we (2 persons) spent 2k trying out food and games. Also had lunch here. Expect everything to be a little expensive. 9 - Ask what time the fireworks and event shows happen. We missed most of the shows because we were on rides, they have a schedule for the shows, best to chill during those times. 10 - bring a cap or umbrella, super hot when we came. put sun block as well. We came on friday. Cause I know weekdays will be more ok and less people. When we can there was a school field trip so many students all around but it was fine as it is still manageable. Bring a raincoat in case it rain or you don't want to get wet in rides. or just bring extra clothes and shoes. No food allowed but you can buy food stalls.

Been a decade before I visited again. In comparison with theme parks abroad, it came close enough when it comes to attractions. Although would love more 3D stuff since I'm not into rides. Fast pass is worth it and it's not even that expensive! Better come here January and February. Weekends so you got some people around and weather is best during this month in our humid country. They have promo for PagIbig card holders. Good choices are plenty too Parking is secured and enough.

No need to get an express pass during the weekday. And if you’re unsure whether you should get one, you can just buy the regular ticket and have it upgraded after, if you discover that the lines are super long. Still one of the best experiences ever. EK still has it! We had a blast!

Still the happiest place for me. But I would recommend renovating some parts of the park especially in the Rialto area. To have more food stands and more interactive rooms or areas for kids. I wish that the horror train was part of the entrance fee.

The rides were fun and exciting experience but the only problem I come across was the line for the rides because of too Many people it took me and my friends almost an hour to get in a ride and I advised you to bring your own rain coat or a spare clothes to change to if you're going to ride the Rio Grande Rapids and it's not allowed to bring food inside and if you want to get yourself a map of the enchanted kingdom just go to the guest magic or something and just ask them for a map or just ask one of the workers where to get them and no phone allowed in the rides

This a bit of a ride to get up there, and had a nice view of the surrounding valleys. The bathroom inside there park was a better choice and they all cost $10 pis. Fit for royalty but good enough for me. Church services are held here, maybe closer to god? Nice picnic spot for sure, and try the local “taho” like sweet imitation ice cream Sunday but it’s actually tofu based. 👩‍🍳😊

A breath of fresh air. The place is very refreshing, quiet, and relaxing. Perfect spot if you want a break from "city life." Going up is a bit of a challenge thou if you are walking as the slope is very steep, but there is a jeepney going back and forth (for a minimal fee) which is very convenient especially for senior citizens, pregnant tourists, or those with children.

Views - 3/5 Price - P30 Ambience - 2/5 Overall not bad. Not a huge highlight, but worth visiting if you are near and have time. Weather was windy and cool. Air was fresh and clean. Views were not bad. Viewing deck is a bit run down and poorly maintained. Nice little church / shrine up top with a view. A small balcony where you can picture with some horses too.

We love the overcast city lights, even when we go there in the daylight. The city is covered with fog. It's such a good experience with relaxing scenery. It's like a free trial in heaven. kidding aside 🤣.   We enjoy the hike up to the viewing area. Thank you for the good memories. Highly recommend it for families, and get together with your love once 💕.

Another famous go-to spot for sightseeing in Tagaytay is People’s Park in the Sky presenting a wide view of the Taal volcano joined by the all-green Tagaytay Highlands. It also nurtures the experience of being almost eye-level with the clouds and free-flying birds. There's a massive statue of Jesus Christ which solemnly overlooks the whole place. At the viewing deck, tourists can rent binoculars for a closer look at the stunning Taal Volcano and the towns below. There are also a few diner and memento shops where you can stop over for snacks and trinkets to take home.

Beautiful view for sure. Second time up here after 2012. Pres. Marcos started the building of this place to accommodate Pres. Reagan. It was never finished. The problem is, that the place is poorly taken care, it's a monument of Marcos megalomaniac ambitions.

We went here on November 5, 2023. It was a beautiful and sunny day. There are plenty of views of distant cities and vistas all around. It is a great place to hike. It is about 2 bends with a substantial incline. It might be a mix of heat and cold throughout the incline, so dress accordingly! I suggest a light jacket you can easily zip up or take off. There are a couple of Jeepneys at both the top and bottom who will transport you and your group if you feel like you are too tired to go up or down the road. They do have a bathroom near the top, but it is pay per use, so be aware of that. There are also spots near the top that are also paid, meaning if you wanted to sit down in one of the labeled booths, you must pay to relax or to sit and enjoy the view from that spot. A couple of souvenir shops are near the top with negotiable prices. If you want to eat at a couple of shops and little restaurants, there's plenty before you enter the park near the bottom. Overall, it is beautiful, and it is definitely worth the visit whether you're here as a tourist (like myself) to go sightseeing or to go on a short hike with a very rewarding view!

One of the best place to see the beauty of the city from above. You can the beauty of Tagaytay and the nearby cities as well as the Taal Volcano. The place was not just built for tourism but with purpose. It is also good to walk from the entrance rather than to ride the jeepney. It was just disappointing when you see the place not properly maintained. This place needs rehabilitation.

SUPERB SCENERY! TRULY ONE OF A KIND! hopefully this place that has its own rich history get its own renovation. sad to see the place not being taken care properly. :( gates is at ₱30 for both child and adult, no fees for infants. ₱10 for the jeepney ride from the gate to the mansion.

Sometimes going early is not the best thing to do 😅. Early morning fog caught me by surprise. I did not have experience which I expected but still it was amazing ride going up to this Park. Short walk uphill from the entrance is relaxing and not to much steep. Unfortunately didn't manage to enjoy the view (which means ill have to return again). But nonetheless it was amazing. Does vendors should have a bit reasonable prices and I expected to have some coffee or milktea available (but there wasn't). Anyway it's a place to enjoy the view, relax and not to be occupied by small things. Just bring your own water, coffee or what ever you prefer. Small small meals are avilable as well. Do not come early morning in January as fog is not your best friend.

Fun and exciting experience. I love the view. It's a good spot for those people who want some alone time. If you're going with your friends, make sure at least one of you is good at picture-taking LOL.

When the time is just right, the park is filled with fog throughout the day. The clouds were literally as low as can be, and with the winds blowing, you'll weave in and out of the mist with just enough moment to catch the view then into the mist you go. It has parking, approachable staff, and the restrooms are clean, there's a shop at the top to buy food and coffee. You can catch a ride from the parking lot going to the park but you can't go wrong if you hike it. Personally, if it's hot out, I'd rather not go. Try to visit when the weather is cool and breezy.

A nice place to visit with family and friends. It's quiet and relaxing. They offer a jeepney service to the top and the bottom of the place. Great for elderly people, they don't need to walk up. The entrance fee is 30 pesos, which is reasonably priced. There are souvenir stores on the top. You can also get your pictures taken and printed. Food stores are also available. Overall it's a great place for family and friends, Even for elderly people.

Been here a couple of times since my early 20s days riding bike. Now spending my time with my wife, daughter and baby boy :). Place did not change much except for the new shop at the top which serves milk tea and pizzas. Good place to bond with your family and the weather is nice.

Beautiful little gem. It wasn't on our tour itinerary but our driver said we booked them for the whole day and took us here before returning. The views from up here are incredible. It was a little cloudy on our day but I can imagine that on a clear day it'll blow your mind! There are several little souvenir stalls and a cafe up the top. You can use a jeepney to reach the top. I didn't but I loved watching them going up and down the beautiful road. Definitely recommend visiting!

We went here last week together with my friends. We rode our motorcycle and I must say that the roads we drove were really steep so I highly advise to just drive slowly, take your time and just enjoy the view and scenery. When we arrived at the top part, there was a parking fee (varies on vehicle) There are food stalls and restos and the prices are worth it for me since most of them are delicious. If you really wanna go to the very top part, you need to pay an entrance fee and if you don't wanna walk up, there is a jeepney terminal that you can ride on. We really enjoyed the overlooking view of Taal Lake and after awhile, it became too foggy and it was a very magical and memorable experience! We will definitely come back again!

Great views and not much of a hike from the bottom. There are also jeepneys to take you up the hill. Definitely worth the 50php entrance fee, breathtaking views and some attractions to spend time there. There are a couple small places to eat at the top, as well as souvenir shops, but there's even more at the foot of the hill before the entrance.

I was surprised that it was so easy to get to. Getting there tho, we had to park some ways down so it was a challenge to go uphill where Pinto's entrance is at. So if you're not fit (I'm not fit either so it is manageable) you've been warned. It was after 12 noon when we got there so we had our lunch at cafe Rizal. Food was good! We had a couple of pastas and a pizza and a glorious ripe mango shake. The drink really helped cool us down considering it was a humid summer's day. Generally, the place is awesome and it was so relaxing. The artworks are great! They have a number of beds, chairs and sofas all over the place that are very inviting! Just make sure you have bug spray on because we got bit quite a lot. Oh and don't miss the forest gallery. It was super cool and easily passed on by most visitors because the place is dark but seriously it's awesome!😎

It was nice and huge place. It's better to be here by weekdays and be sure it's sunny day so you can enjoy the view outside. Parking is hassle free. Baggage counter is provided as big bags are not allowed inside including helmets and any other sharp and fragile objects. Maps and do's and dont's are also given. Less number of people visiting when weekdays so we did enjoy taking photos. There's cafes and restaurant if you like to dine. Please respect rules and restrictions like turning off flashlights, avoid touching the materials and taking off shoes when needed.

1st time I went was 2016 when I was still in college. Really glad to see that they are flourishing and haven’t stopped expanding and adding more features, galleries, and artworks (and still continue to do so!) 250pesos is super worth it and 10/10 would recommend to everyone and not just art lovers! Definitely a feast for the eyes and soul, there’s so much to look at that you would double take and question yourself if you’ve seen a certain sculpture or painting. The only con is they close at 6pm so definitely would recommend to go as early as 10am when they open!

The place is really nice.kind of Santorini inspired..places in Greece, all white and lots of garden area. The art collections are fine. People who loves art will appreciate. Not much for kids because the landscape is elevated with lots of stairs. The whole 7 gallery are well ventilated. Their cafe is fine though a little expensive for me, but food taste good at least.

It's like an art gallery hiding inside a resort. The buildings are very aesthetic. The exhibits are beautiful, intriguing, and engages the mind. If you have your own vehicle, be prepared to hike up to the museum after parking. Would certainly visit again to take pictures or discuss interpretations about certain artworks. Would also like to try the restaurants inside the museum next time.

Stunning art gallery on the hills on the outskirts of metro Manila. We loved the architecture and the way that the buildings and art are one with nature. Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a tranquil retreat from the bustling city.

Definitely worth a visit out here if you are in the Manila Metro area. The grounds are absolutely stunning with a strong Mediterranean feel and style of buildings. It was hot outside in the sun but inside buildings within the shaded gardens it still felt cooler. The art work within the collection was impressive and great to get a feel of local and important Philippine Artists. There is a variety of styles and mediums within the collection so you will get a good appreciation. Recommend getting there right when it opens. It will be quieter. A school group came in and as the guides gave them a good overview the kids were much more interested in taking social media photos vS appreciating the art. Side not … if you are look for a gorgeous location for a photo shoot this is definitely a good place for it.

Pinto Art Museum is a must visit. We enjoyed everything about it. The curators are very knowledgeable about the arts. Also Cafe Rizal's food and mango shake is unforgettable.

It is indeed a great place to visit. Lot's of beautiful scenery and different types of artworks. We came here for just sight seeing and pictures so we got tired really quick. But if you are an art enthusiast maybe you will appreciate this place better. The only downside here is parking, it is quite far from the museum. They also collect entry fee in the village and another entrance fee to the museum. So plan your visit accordingly.

The place is a 2 hectares of pure Art! You'll get tired before you finish everything. All artworks inside is curated by well known Filipino artists. It has a cafe and restaurant inside and they serve Pinoy, Italians, and some Mediterranean inspired foods too. Not cheap but the food is well prepared and ingredients are high end. Overall, it was a great experience together with my Wife. The place is highly recommend.

Appreciate fine art, lush greeneries and delightful food in the cafe. Enjoy the picturesque spots for taking selfies, and the comfy daybeds for relaxing too. This museum is great for romantic dates or outings with family or friends. Bring a fan and be patient in looking for a parking spot if visiting on a weekend though. And of course, prepare your vaccination card and P250 for the entrance fee.

When we went here years back i recall the entrance fee was less than a hundred. Now I think it's 250 which is fine since there are a lot of galleries you can visit. Art is leaning more towards modern contemporary. Really creative people who created and curated the pieces. Food is also amazing at their restaurants. Orders just take about 30-45 minutes (Which they advise you on before ordering). Overall another great experience. 💯

The artwork at this museum is stunning and captivating. The location is home to a sizable but thoughtfully curated collection of contemporary artwork. They are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday–Sunday and close on Monday. Walk-ins are allowed at the Pinto Art Museum, and no reservations are needed. In addition to pets, outside food and drinks are not allowed. Adults must pay 250 pesos to enter the Pinto Art Museum; students with a valid school ID must pay 125 pesos; and elderly citizens and people with disabilities (PWDs) must pay 200 pesos. Children under the age of three are free. Please take note that all costs, charges, and rates are subject to change at any time.

Entrance fee of 250 pesos (adult). They will also give you a map (you’ll need this!). There are more than 5 galleries varying in sizes and with diverse art work. I find most of the art pieces too dark for me but many are interesting. The place is not air conditioned so it’s best to visit when the weather is cooler. Be prepared to walk a lot and climb a flight of (many) stairs. There is a warning on the map that due to the terrain, it might be difficult for senior citizens, person with disabilities, and person prone to stroke to go around the area. Heed this warning because I thought I’m gonna get an asthma attach (I live a sedentary lifestyle so I think that’s why) The entrance/exit of commuters is different from those who drive their cars. Street parking available around the area :)

Very clean place and the ambience is great. The parking is outside the museum and is along the subdivision. 250 Entrance Fee. The staffs were friendly. I recommend this place if you are interested in unique and distinct creative works.

I understand the hype that this place has been receiving because honestly it was really as beautiful as marketed. The artworks are not the ones I have seen before. The sceneries are perfect for capturing great photos. However, what captivated me the most was the breathtaking ambiance and awe-inspiring though a bit creepy artworks. Truly this is a place that everyone should try to visit. 10/10 I would visit again

The exhibits were really nice. The place is really big so make sure that you don't go there on an empty stomach. There are some cafes/restos around if you do feel hungry. They change and add to the exhibits which makes you wanto To go back . Must go here if you also love nature

Met up with long time friends so the time was spent chatting in a round Table near one of the Gallery #2. Lunch was from Cafe Rizal which we enjoyed both in taste and serving sizes. A walk inside the Arboretum made sure we burnt off that sumptuous lunch and where we also enjoyed the soft breeze. Late afternoon, we had coffee, slices of pie and pudding. All good. Worth another visit next time to see more of the art exhibits

We went here on a Sunday after our mass in Antipolo Church. They have street parking, it's best to go early after the mass. Though even there's a lot of people going inside, it is easy to take pictures without the crowd as there are a lot of galleries. The place is aesthetically pleasing, and it is not that hot even we stayed until lunch time. Definitely going back! No need to buy tickets in advance.

Well curated art, interesting gallery layout and architecture. Entrance/ticketing system is a bit weird, but appreciated the student discount. Though I don't agree with the political leanings of the museum owners, I like their artistic choices haha. Expected it to be much hotter, but there were an okay amount of fans throughout the exhibits, and it was decently ventilated as well, with many open halls and large windows. Only concern is the maintenance and upkeep of the art, given the heat and environment. Parking is just streetside, though there is a small entrance fee at the gate of the subdivision.

One of the best avantgarde museums in the world. Not only expositions but the whole ambience. Huge, interesting, beautiful, unique design. Access is hard but it's the part of adventure. NOT suitable for people with disabilities! Very nice restaurant though not cheap. Overall - absolutely worth a trip. Not only from Manila but from any part of the world.

Strolling through the vast museum space can be a bit tiring, given its enormity, but honestly, the overall museum experience here is top-notch. There's a diverse array of art in various forms to feast your eyes on, making the fatigue totally worth it. We had an absolute blast exploring and soaking in all the creativity. Local gem, went there to visit before our dinner at Vieux Chalet. If going on a trip to Antipolo, a tour of Pinto Museum is one of my top recommendations. This place has some very nice architecture, interiors and of course the paintings and sculptures. Lovely garden for a walk around. Particularly enjoyed sitting under the bamboos.

Museum its an amazing place, was really interesting with almost everything to remembering the fashion dresses from the past. The lunch was amazing under the waterfall. The afternoon cultural show and the costumes were colourful and outstanding. Villa Escudero was simply wonderful. I would definitely do it again.see you soon love it.

So this place is amazing. The whole place is so cool when you come as a family and you get to go stop by stop looking at all the different historical things. The museum has so many amazing collections of everything from statues of saints to old currency. I love how the museum has basically the entire history of the Philippines from the native tribes to all times they were colonized. The restaurant is definitely an amazing experience to be able to eat in a river at the bed of a waterfall. It's something unique that makes it so much more amazing. Then the show is so cool having them show all the different histories and traditions of the Philippines from bamboo dancing to cockfights. This is definitely a place to bring the family for a fun historical trip.

Went here a while back and it was my first time in Quezon province. I knew that the place was beautiful but wow, seeing it in person really makes the trip worth it. I love the unique eating area under a waterfall. Will come back again!

Their resort/pool is very relaxing. The people are well-trained and professional. Culture/tradition meet present; indeed a must-visit in Luzon.

Nature at its best ! I love their friendly natural views .This Villa Escudero Plantation is good for tourist spots , I love the villas , rooms are clean , the pools are well maintained , the foods are delicious and healthy. Very recommended for Family Gathering , company outings .

Wonderful spot! Rich in history and ambiance! The staff is very inviting and super friendly. The restaurant is amazing! The food is legit and that location is perfectly executed! The swimming pools are for everyone, all ages in different pools! The show was energetic and very interesting depicting Philippines 🇵🇭 history. The museum requires masks still but once inside there is much to see. And as an added bonus I will say the poolside bar makes fantastic drinks not holding back on the alcohol content in each drink!!!!! Fairly priced with very few visitors during the week, this is a must see if you’re in the area IMO.

Amazing place. There was so much to do. Everything was superb. The museum was really interesting with a little bit of everything to see. I especially loved seeing the fashion dresses from the early 1900's. The lunch was amazing under the waterfall. The tables and chairs are in the water so your feet are treated to a cool bath while you eat. The afternoon cultural show was so professionally done, and the costumes were colourful and outstanding. Villa Escudero was simply wonderful. I would definitely do it again.

It has improved a lot. Being in this place made me proud once more of my Filipino cultures and values.It is like Im in Bali but more homey and peaceful.I love the warm jacuzzi bubble tub near the adults poil.The food at Labasin was excellent with the waterfalls in front of us.I enjoyed watching the cultural dance too.With a reasonable price for day tour.

Went down for the experience, but it just happens to be Valentines Day to make the experience more memorable. Did the tour, rode the water Buffalo cart, bamboo rafts, and last and best of all was the food...All You Can Eat!!!

It was a once in a lifetime experience. We enjoyed the experience riding a cart powered by Carabao, then the Filipino buffet lunch with our feet soaked in water with the beautiful view of the manmade falls. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. One thing we hope the resort management will look into is the upkeep of their museum. I hope they can make it more clean and improve the quality of the items inside the museum to really preserve the history since its very interesting to look into.

Outstanding extremely friendly and helpful staff In addition to the excellent accommodation the gardens were exceptional. They are beautifully managed by the very friendly Gardener who also assisted me with another matter going above and beyond his duties. As a person who works with plants I found the beautifully managed gardens enhanced the beauty and relaxed feeling at Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort. Will be returning! We had a nice stay at the resort.

Historical and cultural site, with amazing pool facilities for the whole family, tours of the church museum, waterfalls dining with your feet in the water while eating, caribou tram ride, entertainment with dancers representing each region, and a nice gift shop as well. Wheelchair access with staff assistance available. All for less than $40 all inclusive, a good deal.

Went across for a quick day trip pass to experience the sights, sounds and foods. Villa escodero did not disappoint. Regardless of the constant on and off rain, we still had a fantastic experience with the staff taking care of us at every step of the way. Our only regret is that we didn't come in earlier to do everything we wanted to do here. Will definitely be coming back! Must visit when you are going to the Philippines, even for just a day trip.

A huge paradise-like place in a rustic Filipino setting with unlimited activities for guests. Endless activities includes; 1) a visit to one of the biggest museum dates back in the year 1800; 2) a delightful bamboo raft ride 3) delicious Filipino buffet lunch by the gorgeous waterfall; 4) three kinds of swimming pools for the kids, for adults only and an infinity pool for a quick plunge; and finally 5) a cultural show depicting dances and music of the different regions of the country. We enjoyed the ‘Day Tour Package’. It’s a great vacation place having a combination of history from the museum, a nostalgic carabao ride, a kamayan buffet with your feet soaked in water and a refreshing dip in the pool. Fiesta Ambiance is welcomingly festive. All the staffs are welcomingly friendly, attentively serving with grace to everyone. Their efforts depicts an admirable bayanihan spirit. It truly was rewarding to visit Villa Escudero. I recommend this place most especially to balikbayan and foreigners who wants to know more of the Filipino culture.

This is a great place for vacations and family gatherings. Nature surrounded and everything is peaceful. The serenity and calmness is excellent. The staff is very friendly, accomodating, and dedicated. The place is just perfect. It's worth coming back.

This place is great for anyone who wanna experience and enjoy Philippine culture! The food was fantastic. Love how they serve it with banana leaves, bamboo plates and utensils, and coconut bowls for soups and condiments and it just brings back how Filipino eat before (some household I would assume still does but not a whole lot now) But we hope they could do something to the flies as I found some dead ones in the food where the buffet is. All in all, it was a great experience for our family. Especially to my husband, who has never been to the Philippines. It's a must stop by if you're nearby! Make sure you're hungry if you do!

Man felt like a school field trip. You experience eat at the man made waterfalls, then at 2pm there is a play on filipino heritage. Very entertaining. Eating the food was very delicious and authentic Filipino food. The museum is full of antiques. Our tour guide in the museum was very informative and entertaining.

Villa Escudero is always worth for a day trip and overnight stay (we didn't do this time). I was first time in 1997 @ Villa Escudero and after 27 years, it's still the same in a good way. Same great environment and relaxing atmosphere. The cultural dance show is certainly a must see.

Highly recommend this place to get an insight into Filipino culture and have unique experiences. We had. Beautiful lunch by the Falls, watched the Filipino culture show and went on the carabao ride. Really enjoyed the experience, learned a lot of my culture and had beautiful new experiences with my family. We had a day trip so cannot comment on the rooms.

My wife is a Filipina and she brought us home for a two week dream vacation to The Philippines. Villa Escudero Plantations & Resort were absolutely breathtaking. This is a traditional Filipino style resort complete with modernized Nipa Huts overlooking the lagoon. I can show you better than I can tell you, caribou rides, pool, and cultural fulfillment.

The buffet lunch is delicious. The traditional dance performances at 2pm was surprisingly impressive. Apparently local students have to study most of the dances in school. Highly recommended
