It's a good place to relax and spend holidays with family and friends. You have a lot of restaurants options where you can eat and drink plenty and with a good variety of food. Enough places to rent nearby or even if it's only for a short period of time you'll feel comfortable here. It have picnic areas with a wide range where you can lay down or even camp on the surrounding of the beach and is only 2 or 3 minutes by walking. You won't regret it. I really loved it even though I visited the place when it wasn't time to have a jump into the Tisza waters. 😉

A truly wonderful place to stay, live or visit, plenty to do and plenty of places to eat and drink. Has camping available as well as houses to rent close by. Good place to walk or cycle along as well. During certain times there is live music festival on and many different activities.

Amazing place to be. U can rent a house or just staying in the camping. I will go back. Recommended

Awsome river beach, hard to find worth to go
JJ Endredi — Google review
Closed for bathing during off season. The famous sand bank of the "throat" is only usable at low waters. Worn down buildings. Fried fish (deep frozen, but that's claimed to be mandatory) available in season and sometimes during weekends.
Gergely Szakács — Google review
Loved it. It is like a sandy seashore, but much-much closer and cheaper! :)
Kornélia Czeglédi — Google review
Nice natural water, the area is turned into a beach. Lot of food and drink stands, cheap prices. Swimming is for free.
Sunshine Aquapolis Szeged is an energetic waterpark that boasts both indoor and outdoor waterslides, as well as swimming pools and a sauna. It's the perfect place to spend your weekend with family and friends. To save money, it's recommended to purchase full-day tickets which grant access from 8am to 8pm. The thermal bath area is particularly beneficial for overall body health and stress relief.
It's nice swimming pool to spent your weekend time here. I recommend to buy full day ticket because is cheaper. It's from 8 morning until 8 evening. I love the termal bath it's good to relax our body health and stress here. I am student and I paid 2700 huf/person for 3 hours only because I don't have a lot of time here.
Highly recommend to visit

The best of the best. Water park (for children) and thermal baths (for adults). Lots of water slides, thermal baths( kids can go to the baths too). On some slides height over 140 cm is allowed, but you can sign a paper and your child can go there too. We have been here twice already and satisfied beyond measure. I recommend it for families with children, but also for couples.
Barbora Kukuckova — Google review
Very nice experience here for all the family. We enjoyed this place in February, so we took baths only inside. The slides are awesome! The food is also very good.
Alexandra Birtar — Google review
Excellent fun for a weekend! Great slides for kids (and adults), nice spa. We didn't try outside as it was cold, but the inside provided plenty of fun. Also, very safe - lifeguards doesn't allow any shenanigans and unsafe behavior, so you can let your kids roam free.
Bojan Popic — Google review
The aqua park is not bad but I was expecting more. There are a lot of activities for children, but not for adults. Of course everything is expensive, but you can bring what you need and reduce the cost. Check the bracelets you get at the entrance because it happened to me that it doesn't work and no one did anything to help me.
Iboja Pacula — Google review
Wonderfull all is so good...organization is good, place is good....slides is good ....water and pools are great.
Aleksandar Z — Google review
The place is very fun for kids because it has a lot of slides. Two of which are very big and exciting. The bars on the outside part are very good and have tasty drinks. They also offer big pools one of which has tunels. It wasn't too expensive for how much fun I had. In my opinion it is totally worth it. VERY COOL! 🌊🌊🌊🐳🐳
Maks Lach — Google review
Very nice place to enjoy bathing, swimming and spending time with kids. Big territory, a lot of pools with various features. We enjoyed the most the outside swimming pool with hot water where you can lie on the water and look at the stars. while the temperature outside is +5 you feel very warm in the hot water.
We forgot some of the kids cloth and easily got it back the next day.
Maybe the only thing to improve is the quality of the food in the cafeteria.
Olga Pecherskikh — Google review
A perfect get away from daily life, whole day with family, with a lot of fun activities. Lazy river, variety of water slides and gadgets, grotlo, green water pools with mineral water for elderly people or those that like 38 degrees water, outdoor pools, and many other things... On the last floor there is a good restaurant to have lunch
Sinisa Nikolic — Google review
This cashier is horribly impolite and dishonest and her English level is underground. This place is expensive, and as this cashier made me pay full price against my choice, I made a claim at the end and I can say the all staff I met is on the same level, the “director “ tried to intimidate me telling me I have been staying more than 3 hours ( He made me wait 30 mins his majestic appearance), the “security “ man came to show muscles or should I say belly as I was talking peacefully. Don’t go there for spa it’s outdated and expensive, They are making fun of strangers in Hungarian no respect of customers. Even if the summer strand is huge, there’s choice in Szeged. Avoid this person on the photo.

Good place for a relaxing day. Family-friendly with slides and many pools both indoor and outdoor with heated and thermal water, plenty of seats and a reasonable price for tickets. The whole place a pretty clean as well. In the colder season there aren't many options for food and it could use some care here and there. Overall, a good and worth it experience.
Denisa Oprea — Google review
Great aquapark, has a lot of indoor pools, very children friendly with a lot of slides (suitable for both children and adults). The food availability is however a bit low, we barely found something ok to eat as lunch, it's ok for a quick bite though

Really fun experience, variety of water slides... only wish there was better privacy in the showers... no curtain or door... btw the shower stalls...
Overall a you can enjoy a very good time there.

An excellent water park with all the necessary accompanying facilities. Ideal for families with small children. The service is very good, the staff is friendly and all at affordable prices. The water slides are arranged according to the degree of risk and the level of safety is OK. I recommend a visit, and I will definitely book the hotel again at the first opportunity.

Perfect place for kids. We were lucky that stayed for 3 days in working days and wasn't crowdy. In weekend I think it's very crowdy and have to wait a lot at toboggans. The water it could be a little warmer. We had a nice time here.

Forras SPA - silent wellness is great! The only thing that bothered me was the wet floor. No one to dry it...I almost fell down, although it was not too crowded. I can only imagine in peak season!
Jelena Milinkovic — Google review
Great Aquapark/Spa for whole family. Plenty to enjoy for all ages.
Guests of Forras hotel can charge food and drinks on their room.
Most info boards on 4 lanhuages: Serbian, Hungarian, English and one more, possible Romanian.
Many slides, including europest longest. You need to take elevator to go up to tower top and take blue or yellow gygantic slide, always queue both in front of elevator and on top at slide entrance.
Lots of missleading info around - outdated prices of food on postersl, work schedule of slides that apparently is not true, etc.
Enough content for everyone to enjoy, from smallest kids, teenagers to senior citizens.
Dejan Mratinković — Google review
Nice place, plenty of sliders, hotel spa is also nice. Food options are a little limited but nothing too extreme. The downside is the fact that the showers newrby pools and the pools edges are dirty.
RA HDR — Google review
It's a beautiful place with magucal cave and a hot outside pool. The experience outside when its dark is priceless! Only it was pretty cold otlutside the pools in the indoors. The food is satisfying. Noone explains you how the things function there with lockers. It was too cold to stay until the end of working hours.
Milica Vasić — Google review
One of my favourite places to chill during summer in Szeged. The place is not the best but still, it’s not bad either. Somethings that can be improved are like the cleanliness, staff (should be more friendly or helpful), and add other activities for adults like make a small sandy volleyball area. But overall, the place is big enough to relax and enjoy the water. The pools are okay and big, the slides are good, a few choices and there’s also sauna that you can use, it’s just that it’s only one and I think not that enough. The food is a little bit pricey but that’s common, there is also gym that you can use. You should spend more than 3 hours here to make your money worth. A big advantage if you’re a student, mention this to the cashier and you’ll get discount.
Lavishly decorated church that was built after the city was devastated by a flood in 1879.
The central cathedral of Szeged, it is the heart and centre of this adorable little city, with sublime frescoes adorning its walls. You have to really see them to appreciate them.
Outside this relatively new cathedral is the main city square, the focal gathering point of the city and the place where many different events are regularly held.
The entrance is free and worth it, even if you're an atheist like myself.

Most see! Its a beautiful dome inside out + for 1200ft (2-3 pounds) you can climb up on one of the tower and have a fabulous view of the city 5/5

Marvellous place, if you find yourself in Szeged it is definitely must see! It looks so intimidating hovering above the square and surrounding lower buildings, there is option to pay to all the way up the tower, walk of about 360 stairs, that is worth the effort!

Really beautiful main church in the city. It's on a big square which makes it really stand out. It's very photogenic. Didn't go inside but it's very lovely to see from outside. Definitely a muss see when visiting.

Absolutely gorgeous this church. Located on the Dom Square ( this square has the same size as Piazza San Marco from Venezia).
Now this place holds the beautiful Christmas Market, amazing traditional food and loads of possibilities of buying presents or souvenirs.

Magnificent Catholic Church with stunning vibrant Frescos decorating the interior. The one covering the ceiling of the dome is particularly magnificent and was painted by Laszlo Patay and is centered around the procession of the Holy ghost.
The impressive twin towers at the front of the church rise skywards 91 meters and the dome spans 54 meters.
Visiting is free, a must do if you go to Szeged.
Miles Macdonald — Google review
This is a stunning church that has been lovingly restored. The colours inside leap out and want your admiration. Outside there are some very poignant memorials none more so than the famine of Ukraine in 1932-33.
We attended a concert in the evening which was delightful. The organ was deep and resonant and the sound quality inside the church was excellent.
AussieIslander — Google review
We climbed up in the tower: 302 stairs, 46 meters and an outstandig view of the city and its neighbouring region. You can take short breaks if you want on given floors where you can get more info (short films, etc) on the cathedral. There is also a gift shop and a historical exhibition on the ground floor which we could visit for free on the first Sunday of the month. If you are not afraid of a little hight it is definitely a great place to visit in town!
Szeged Zoo is a vast outdoor animal park that showcases various exotic creatures in their natural habitats. It provides ample free parking space and features a playground for children, as well as food options within the premises. The animals are healthy and active, and visitors can interact with some of them by feeding them special food. Szeged Zoo is an excellent destination for a day or half-day city break, easily accessible with well-maintained facilities that guarantee safety for all ages.
You have a lot of parking space there for free. We had a family ticket, 2 adults 1 child about 20€. It is worth every cent! The Zoo is big and has lots of animals. You can feed a few of them with special food. All the animals look healthy and are active. The Kids have a playground. You can also eat and drink in the park. We will definitely visit again.

Loved it! We went early in the morning & it was quiet, it felt almost like a private experience. Not once did we ever feel rushed by people.
Lovely open space, lots to explore & you can buy treats to feed certain animals.

A great destination for a day, or half-day city break if you are living close to Szeged. Very easy to find ,free parking and of course many wild animals .The place is clean , safe and well maintained and kids friendly. If you still have time, after the zoo, you need to go to visit the city center.

It is not the best zoo I visited but for sure is top 5 and I have seen many across Europe. They are very organized and the animals are treated decently. They also have a big variety of animals to impress you.

First visit to a Zoo with my three year old and it was a blast. All the animals looked very healthy (unlike some zoos I’ve visited in the past), place is clean, lots of shade from the trees since the whole park is in a forest. You don’t need to worry about the parking, there’s plenty of space and it’s free.

Excellent family day out. They have a variety of animals, including all the big cats, Rhinoceros, Elephant’s and Bears.

Great zoo. Beautifull place to visit, where you can see wild animals in their natural environment. You will need a lot of time to go around the whole park.
Dusan Trajkovic — Google review
Fantastic as always. It was great to see the rapid development of the zoo, already in half a year. Even though I love seeing the animals in the wild, luckily, I was able to see so many around the world, I find the zoos a great source of education development. What more I could imagine in the future in the absolutely amazing Szeged Zoo, besides the huge variety palette of animals, to focus on sharing more educational information for the younger generations, evolve the knowledge through hidden "Easter eggs", surprises, extra features around the Zoo.
Annamária Vakhal — Google review
All-time favourite. The ticket is reasonably priced. Beautiful are with lots of trees. The animals have big areas to walk around. You can also adopt them. There is free parking outside. Great place to spend your day.

YOLO RENT — Google review
Excellent ZOO with nice and different organizations on very large space. Animals is in good conditions and they have enough space in friendly looking "home". Zoo is excellent for baby wheelchair. To visit and have enough time to see everything in the ZOO you need to come early at 10 o'clock and you need 7 hours for all ZOO (open from 9 to 17). You can pay a tickets in EU and inside you can use a bank card to pay for food and beverage...

Showcasing Hungarian history through paintings, monuments, open-air museum village and horse shows.
This is one of the cool places in Csongrad! It’s a very interesting place with very nice sculptures, statues, monuments and exhibitions. The place is kinda big but it’s easy to walk around as many benches are available to rest. It’s full with Hungarian heritages and histories. Different parts of the area have different displays and you’ll be entertained with each part of the park. It’s truly a worth place to visit.

Rich hungarian history, culture and traditions nested in this peaceful open museum with beautiful sceneries.

I was happy to see sample books, assignments and the map of Africa in the display.
They accept credit cards and they offer different rates/ packages for groups and families.

Well it’s a nice place. Tickets are quite expensive (around 10 euros with a painting). The painting is definitely worth seeing, ask for English voiceover and a leaflet. Bring some snacks and enough water, the buffet was closed at 16 something 🤯 The menu there is quite limited but stuffed cabbage was alright (1800 huf a portion). Drinks a cheaper in a Labirintus nearby, drop by before the Skansen.

Worth visiting at least once even if you're not into heritage parks. Definitely a feel-good place, especially the skansen with the old buildings and structures.

The picture is amazing! But it does not allow you to take a photo. In the park, you can walk around and spent a whole day in the old village, it seems you go back to the past.

Great place with children, some labyrinths, interactive outside games. The bush labyrinth is the 3rd biggest one Europe, they said.

One of the world's biggest labyrinths. There are two labyrinths, one is build by wood and the other is build by living bushes. You can buy some souvenirs from the shop and take a coffee break. The shop offering standard things, like coffee, cakes and some snacks.
The receptionist could be a bit friendly but otherwise great place. Good for kids and adults to relax. Plenty of pool to choose from not to crowded on the weekends.
viki racz — Google review
It is nice and clean. It was not crowded since we were there on a working day. Hoewer, there is jo free space to put towels and things on weekends. It is just a nice place to relax. Some music would do good there.

Super cool spa!
Thermal water is full of sulfur, magnesium, iodine which greatly relaxes and calms nerves and muscles.
The object itself is clean, modern and well maintained.
The temperature of the water varies from 32 to 40 degrees Celsius in thermal pools so there is something for everyone. There is also a splash pool with 18-20 degrees and ones for circulation called the walking pool.
Saunas are a bonus and a giant slide is a plus. If you bring your kiddies they will also have loads of fun.
There is a baby place with toys and changing station. Totally tiny tots friendly.
If you are hungry there is a restaurant and a fast food joint in the complex AND a place you can sit and have your own snacks or food.
Amazing experience!

Great day out with family. Everyone can find the most relaxing option from the little one to the grandparents. I love this place, time and money well spent. Go early to get good space and make sure you stay for the day.
Anita Fugedi — Google review
We visited the so-called Quiet Wellness Premium Spa Area - what a disappointment!! All the sauna's in the new area where closed, including the beautiful big one that you see on their website. So the "premium" area (where you pay extra to get access) is nothing but a large rest room. It is indeed quiet (which is a big plus in Hungary where it seems normal to chat very loud in every sauna) but there is an annoying music which plays every 2 minutes the same sound... not so Zen! The other part of the spa area is much older, very little space. Here was only 1 hot sauna open. One color sauna, not so hot. One jacuzzi, that's it. One very small cold tub to cool down., outside shower did not work.
On top of our disappointment about the location, we were very surprised to find out that it is normal to bring your smartphone in and use it in the sauna area!! Since we came in on a Friday 'non-textile' sauna day, hoping to enjoy a real sauna experience instead of sweating in your bathing clothes, this for me felt very unpleasant, knowing people can easily make photo's and video's. In any country and all the sauna's we visited this is strictly forbidden.
All together, an experience not to be repeated... high cost, disappointing location, non-relaxed atmosphere. Too bad, because it is really hard to find a real sauna in Hungary.
Alies — Google review
I have been coming here with my family for the past 20 years and we used to love it. Recently, we heard that they changed the owner and the place has become a mess.
We bought extra tickets to be able to go to the sauna special programmes. The sauna master (named Adam) started the programme and my father just whispered to me if I understand what aroma he is using. To this a random man sitting next to us shouted at us to stay silent and Adam was very rude saying that we can switch spots if we will speak again. Nobody told us nicely that there was this rule of ABSOLUTE silence in the sauna, they just shouted at us for whispering.
Later when we went to ask for a refund. The manager did not listen to us but to the random guy who shouted at us (I am guessing they are friends). This man said me that I should go back to Serbia and that I am not welcome in Hungary if I behave this way. The boss was right next to him and allowed that his customers are treated this way.
We did not receive an apology neither from the boss nor Adam, the sauna master, but the boss forced the kind receptionist lady to apologise to us even though she did nothing wrong.
Apart from this. Szent Erzsebet spa used to be a nice, clean place to relax. Now it has become a welcoming place only to the close friends of the owner, and it is not so clean anymore.
Highly unpleasant experience and we will never return to this place. FOREIGNERS ARE NOT WELCOME THERE SO I ADVISE YOU TO SEARCH FOR A BETTER SPA.
Update: I was contacted by the mayors office of Morahalom and she apologised to me and my family. We received free tickets and went back there without any problems. I corrected my rating and I hope that the above mentioned incident does not repeat to anyone.
Ivan Momirov — Google review
Szent Erzsébet Mórahalmi spa was one of the best expiriences. You can count on 22 pools, some are with hot water, some with cold, some pools have mineral water which is great for health. The big main pool is 33 meters long and 25 meters wide. It is easy to reach, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great! For an adult you can get a whole day ticket for less than 10 euros and you get wellnes package with it. There is a finish sauna, infrared sauna and turkish bath. In Belgrade for example you pay 4 euro for only one open air pool, no wellnes at all. Families can get family packages and discounts so it is great to come with kids. Kids really enjoy the slides and a pool with waves and currents. Also in summer there is enough natural shade from huge trees in the garden so it is not so hot. I would also recommend something to eat because the restaurant is good, and hungarian food is great. Prices are also great.

Overall I would give 5, experience and amenities are great. We've been going there for several years now, however yesterday I noticed something for the first time that I didn't like. Namely, while I was waiting with my wife at the wardrobe, a group of elderly people (approx 30 of them) arrived and rushed directly into the center to take over sunbeds or chairs without changing their shoes or clothes. In my opinion this is a highly hygienic concern , since some kids are walking naked feet, most other guests enter with clean slippers and this should be controlled much better at the entrance. Nobody should be allowed to enter before it is changed and in clean slippers. Hopefully this will be improved, however till then we'll see you again.
Marko Savov — Google review
A place where everyone can find fun for themselves - from the youngest to the oldest. A large selection of swimming pools, enough sunbeds and space where you can put a towel if you prefer that.
The entrance fee is 3900 forints (about 10 euros), and at the entrance you leave a deposit for the locker (1000 forints), which is returned to you when you leave the spa.
I recommend that you definitely try the langos in the food section - it costs from 500 to 1000 forints (depending on the toppings) and it's really tasty.

we spend couple of days in Hungarian SpaS,and Morahalom deserves all the praise!
First of all, recommendation for all the people coming from Serbia - go through Romania (on Jimbolia, then Cena),since we waited on Horgosh 2 for 4 hours (30 cars in front of us),this is local, not so perfect road, but border crossing is EMPTY!
So,the Spa - the entrance price is same for all days,and kids above 6 consider adults;
inside - it was holiday, but working day,so wasn't crowded, but clean, warm, awesome kids area, big swimming pool,a lot of sulfur/thermal pools, inside and out - kids are allowed everywhere (in difference from Mako),saunas, cold pool, very, very nice,so thank you Morahalom for awesome time,we'll come again 🥰

I recommend. Good relation quality-price. I we did a night at the motel and full day at the spa. Everything was clean, hot pools and all the aquatic experiences working fine. I’m not giving 5 stars only because the girl at the bar is one of the rudest workers ever attending me. Don’t speak not even the basic English and don’t make the minimum effort to understand - I mean “menu”, “hamburger” and “Camembert” are universal and the same everywhere. So proud of not speaking and being rude that even laugh at us. Being rude only for foreigners, of course. Bar service really slow also… took more than 1h to do 2 burgers. All the other staff was ok, even when don’t know English made it to be understood.
Safe space, in my opinion.

My first experience of a thermal bath and it's something I won't ever forget, being outside in the mist and warm water was amazing and such a surreal experience. I found the facilities to be really clean and looked after too. The variety of the pools was great as well and I thought the clothes hangers were a very smart idea. We will visit again thank you

This place has a good potential, but they need to understand that bilingual signs and instructions are mandatory - now they have everything only in Hungarian; WiFi also - now there is bo Wifi for guests. Bigger and faster restaurant and serving should be taken into consideration, two counters on the entrance instead of the current one.

Robbers! I left my swimming suit in the car and they charged me 200ft to re-enter the facility even I had my receive which was purchased 5 mins ago. Absolutely disgusting! Food Prices are very expensive and all the pools are over crowded. Never ever again!

Lovely place to visit with family or friends. Accomodation is available next the spa in little, cozy log cabins we all loved. Either for a weekend or for a few weeks you can find multiple places to experience. Recommended!!

The place is well kept and maintained.
Thermal pools are okay however the water content and temperatures are not clearly visble..
Staff: very everage. Dressing room attendants were mean and rude both days we went.
Services :This is claimed to be a wellness place . Unfortunately there is 1 person doing massages and its impossible to get a massage because that 1 person is booked for months Advanced. Placed like this suppose to have at more people to offer spa services.
Food options are great and the serves are super nice there .
Palic Lake is a picturesque body of water with numerous biking and hiking trails. It boasts an artificial island that serves as home to over 200 bird species. Visitors should consider staying in a local hotel before exploring the lake for a relaxing afternoon. While the park surrounding the lake offers many attractions and activities, visitors should refrain from swimming or entering the water due to its poor quality.
It is a beautiful lake. It has the color , tranquility , the park right behind it , restaurants… oh yea I suggest visiting the zoo (5-10 min walking ), taking a walk , going to a restaurant and going for a boat ride ( around 400-600 dinars per person (around 30 min ) I like to buy souvenirs at stands near the lake. For restaurants I recommend choosing one near the water.
You can go if you’re in a wheelchair.

A nice place for a walk or picnic. There aren't many different activities there, but you can rent something like a bicycle and ride around on the asphalt there or on a pedal boat on the lake. It seemed that there was also some kind of boat that could be used for a round trip on the lake. Free parking area for cars.

Visited the undeveloped area of the lake. Good place for fishing and great for bird watching. But the access is difficult, and the only infrastructure are some bird watching platforms along the only and poorly marked and maintained cycling & hiking path around the lake. A good place to escape into nature, close to town, well, if you know where to go. If not, there is always the developed part of the lake at Palić town.

Quiet place, but the lake view is nice. Good for walk around, little playground for kids and also some restaurant nearby.

Beautiful place, big park, a lot of attractions and activities but don’t count on having a swim or going in the lake because it’s not clean. No one is in it. Make sure to sit on benches and to visit Zoo and the great entrance of the park. Food is really good.

A nice way to see the Csikós in their original clothes work (and play) with horses. You get to the show by carriage or walk – it takes approx. 30 minutes but is worth the time. You also get to see the gold-locked pigs and more animals on the farm.

(Translated by Google) The horse-drawn carriage took us first to the "Bugacpusztaháza", where the life of the shepherds was told, and then to the perfectly arranged demonstration of the Puszta five-horse team in the "Bugaci ménes". At the well-maintained stud farm you can observe many local animals up close. Although the program is specifically tailored to tourists, it is nevertheless very well done and definitely worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) It was an excellent weekend program. From the Karikás Csárda, we drove out to the stud, saw the attractions there (shepherd museum, local animals, etc.), the foal show, and then drove back to the csárda. There, we were already waiting for tables with names. The price of the buffet lunch was included in the entrance fee, only drinks had to be paid for. The entire staff is helpful and kind, we had a great time. The place is dog-friendly, our dog could come everywhere with us.
I sincerely recommend it to everyone.

A hely kutyabarát, kutyusunk mindenhová velünk jöhetett.

Natürlich ein Touristenprogramm ... aber sehr gut gemacht, um einen Eindruck vom Leben in der Puszta zu bekommen. Die Reitkunst der Männer ist beeindruckend. When visiting Subotica, this is the place you want to be. It is the center of Subotica and when something happens it will happen here. Promotions in Subotica is once a year and everyone dress up 👗 and meet up at this place. That occasion happened during our visit at 3rd of june in the evening. The city was full of merry young people and lots of photographs making photos of beautiful young women that looked like princesses 👸 If this is not enough Subotica has the 2nd largest synogogue and is definitely worth to visit when in Serbia. There is more in Serbia than Belgrade and Novi Sad 😇

Very interesting place - but the guided tour was only a joke... The guiding was in serbian - even if I was asked what language I spoke at the entrance. I didn't get any information unless I asked for it. And what should I ask for? I hadn't got a clue of anything...Besides - we had to run through the facilities with very short stops in each room.
The climbing of all the stairs to the watch tower could be exhausting for those not fit, and should perhaps be mentioned at the entrance. One of the women in the group had severe problems to reach the top. Maybe the worst was that we only got a few minutes up there before we had to rush back down. The guide said it was much better in the summer... Well - too bad for us who were there in November...
All in all the experience was disappointing due to the harsh guide - who seemed to have been forced to take the tour. But I would love to explore The City Hall and the tower again - without the time rope around my neck... It was very beautiful! And the view from the roof was amazing!

It was fantastic experience with the kids. I have a 4 year and a one year old boy and they just loved the kids pool which is right their depth so even my smaller one could walk on his own (well with a little support) in the swimming pool. There is a huge turtle with four slides and a separate slides as well. One of my favourite kids pool I have visited withmy kids. They have just opened theoutside area so it was not crowded at all and you could find place in the shades. I can only recommend for all ages as there is thermal pools and sauna as well.

Milan Konjović (1898–1993) was a prominent Serbian painter. He lived in many countries abroad, including in Paris, France from 1924 to 1932. He bequeathed around 500 pictures to his birth town and it’s how this art gallery was established. If you love art this is a must-see place in Sombor. Like in most other tourist places in Serbia, open hours are not visitor-friendly. They are open during working days but during the weekend it is highly likely to be closed.

We went in late March, it was beautiful, you can take a long walk over the wooden walkways, take a tour on an electric boat and also use a small train to get to the boat (great option for very hot days or with very small children). Stunning nature, hundreds of animals to see, including all sorts of birds, frogs, snakes, turtles, even deer.

Great area to visit...probably 5 star in spring as now in autumn not too much to see..the toilet at the boatramp was also closed which is a shame (evidence of that in the park yuk)..i would come again in spring..
Hermien Cook — Google review
The service at the reception and on the boat was excellent. However, walking paths over the fields would need some serious repair. Loud music was overheard from neighboring houses during broad daylight which was annoying as we tried to enjoy nature.

Very nice guided walk + boat tour in an important nature park. A sanctuary for birds and wildlife at the flooded wetland between Danube and Drava rivers

The view is wonderfull , the place is not renovate in the last couple yeat, but just maintain cleaned.
Ticket price 1 adult 1.3 euro.
Very few visitors during week so need to wait 2h if uou like to yake a boat. There is no much to birds to see while walking inside, but most you may see them and water lily if you drive with the car next to the chanel

"Kopački National Park is a nature lover's paradise! The vast wetlands and diverse wildlife create a captivating experience. However, be prepared for mosquitoes and limited facilities. Also it’s good to visit during proper spring. The boat ride (you to buy tickets for that) was average. Recommended for an average adventure in Osijek, Croatia."

Beautiful nature park with etno willage. There is a swamp with a wooden trail made thru. Everything was perfect but mosquitos. Loads of them. But this year is extremely rainy so i can understand the whole mosquito problem. Will recommend this place.

Small and inexpensive museum showing a standard exhibition of the Busójárás tradition of Mohács. There are temporarily exhibitions as well. At the time of my visit there was a photo exhibit of Baranya county.
Well looked after, nicely presented collection. The staff was friendly and polite. Good experience, especially if you would like to know more on folklore.
This place should consider a major renovation. Half of the wooden statues outside are missing. The "fountain ⛲" 😬 is dry and the toilets outside are closed. In the main building with museum, the higher you go, the higher the temperature 🔥🥵 so In summer, only for sauna lovers!
The underground part is good though.
🤔 In the cash desk you can buy some ice cream and if you ask them, they have some cold drinks in the fridge too. For me... 3 stars is the maximum.

It's a Museum of History of Hungary. The place is quite informative and there are many things such as swords and items of the Turkish Regime.

I would recommend checking and coming during the summer months. I went to the site today and whilst it was very interesting, the staff were friendly and I learned alot about the battle. There were quite a few of the items being repaired, although they made sure that there were stand in images.

Museum and a memorial site of the famous Battle of Mohacs from 1526 where Hungarian and Croatian forces tried to stop Ottoman expansion into Europe.

Indoor mall with many well-known chain retailers, plus casual dining, a multiplex & bowling alley.
The mall is very big and beautiful!
Great thing about this place is that it has somewhat of a food court unlike the other malls in the city!
Also, there's many stores and outlets!

Shops like Nike and there is a really good shop in there called portanova with mens and womens clothing at a decent price

Honestly it has lots of great clothing stores , a cinema , fast-food restaurants , etc.
And it's usually quite packed with people , so you may have to scavenge for a parking spot for a bit if you're going by car .
Personal favorite clothing stores are Deichmann and New Yorker ( reasonable prices and decent variety of clothing options and footwear ) .
Good place to spend some time shopping or hanging out .

Siklós Castle, located in Southern Hungary near the Croatian border, is a well-preserved 1200s castle that showcases various architectural styles such as Romanian, Gothic, and Renaissance. Once serving as the seat of an important ruler and later owned by Count Moric Benyovszky, the castle now offers visitors a glimpse into its history through furniture and weaponry exhibits, a wine museum, dungeon, and torture chamber.
It's a great place to learn Hungarian history. We met a black cat, which has its own home next to the wizard's home. All of us got fun here, for my daughter, enjoys the játékváros very much and has funny photos with her toy owl.

A cool castle in Southern Hungary, near the Croatian border. The signs and placards were in English, German, and Hungarian.
Overall, the place was fairly well kept up, though some places were under renovation, and it was a pity not to see the rose garden.
Other than that, with a variety of gift shops, coffee shops, and a mini-wine museum and shop, it's a great place to spend a few hours.

This medieval castle is maintened well and quite complete (compared to other Hungarian castles). There are not many tourists, so if you don't like the crowded "popular" places, it's a good choice. The castle contains a lovely chapel, a small dungeon, a contemporary exhibition a coffee shop, a small castle garden with herbs.

The exhibit in the different rooms is good and very informative, in some rooms you can even try on historical soldiers armor and uniforms (excellent for children). The paintings and wine exhibits are interesting and keep the castle "alive" with people. Recommend a visit.

Zsolnay Cultural Quarter is an extensive cultural hub in the site of a former 19th-century ceramic factory. It's divided into four main areas catering to craftspeople, families and children, creative pursuits, and university programs. Visitors can stroll down the street of artisan shops or browse through the impressive Gyugi Collection containing over 700 Zsolnay pieces while learning about the history of both the factory and its founding family through exhibitions.
This place is a must in Pecs. You can feel the arts in the air. I went there rather early in the morning, there were few people and I enjoyed myself disco bring lovely selfie spots, visiting the glove factory and listening to the students at the Academy of Music. Széchenyi tér is the bustling main square of Pecs, surrounded by elegant baroque buildings and offering a perfect spot for observing local life. At its northern end stands the Mosque Church, while the central area is dominated by the striking Trinity Column. The southern part features the exquisite Zsolnay Fountain, adorned with lustrous eosin glaze and four bulls heads, a gift from the Zsolnay factory in 1892.
The Zsolnay Porcelain Museum in Pecs showcases the world-famous handmade ceramics and stonework of the Zsolnay Porcelain Manufacture. The museum is located in the oldest building in Pecs and features six rooms that take visitors on a chronological journey through the manufacturing process. The exhibits include decorative motifs for buildings, figurines, tableware, and tiles. The museum also highlights the technological innovations and Art Nouveau murals of Zsolnay.
One of the most wonderful museums in Europe ( ceramic industry). I love that.

(Translated by Google) It is thanks to these burial chambers that the city was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list twenty years ago, one of only 9 Hungarian sites. Here approx. 1,600-year-old buildings can be viewed, which is quite rare in itself. You can learn quite a lot about the late Roman period, the thinking, life and burial customs of the contemporaries, if you pay attention. The exhibition is enriched by video footage, which helps you imagine what you see in its form 1,600 years ago. The survival of the burial chambers and their role in the later history of the city is very interesting, e.g. how much of a role these stone buildings played in the topographic reorganization of the medieval city, in the formation of its religious center, and ultimately in the foundation of the city's survival and historical significance.

Pécs Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a stunning Catholic church with origins dating back to the 10th century. Situated in the heart of Pecs, Hungary, this active cathedral boasts beautiful gardens and exquisite religious art. Its rich history and magnificent architectural design make it a top tourist attraction in the city. The cathedral's Romanesque Revival look from the 19th century adds to its allure.

We have had the privilege to listen to the organ, and it was an amazing experience, definitely a wow-factor.

Pecs Cathedral stands as a remarkable example of architectural brilliance, boasting an array of colours and styles that distinctly set it apart from other European cathedrals. Its vibrant decor is a feast for the eyes, presenting a harmonious blend of shades that reflect the cathedral's rich history and the creativity of its restorers. Whether it's the interplay of light through the stained glass or the intricate mosaics, every element works together to create an atmosphere that's both inspiring and tranquil. A visit here is not just a journey through a religious monument but a passage through a gallery of artistry that speaks across cultures and ages. Highly recommended for its unique charm and breathtaking interior.

The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms. The pool was okay, but really nothing special and the bubble bath and all other water amenities were out of order. Spa complex equipped with two working spa-rooms. Dinner is like in a regular school diner, nothing bad, but easy to forget. Breakfast is plenty and fresh. Room service and bar are extremely expensive for a hotel so remote and simple. If looking for time travel, you will survive this place but if you would like to explore the region, you’d better of in a small and well-run B&B or in a newer hotel.

i gave 2 stars as this hotel is closer to a 2 star standard than to the 4 star. it is a time travel: a recently refurbished reception gives you false impression, then as you go deeper the rooms and the wellness area looks like it's from the 90's. the standard rooms are basic and weary. at least the outdoor sauna gives you a treat.
