Wonderful sand beach with convenient parking. Came at around 11 in the morning and it was not a problem to park car in the shade of pine trees. And parking is free! Beach itself goes alongside, walk further and it will not be crowded at all. Crystal clear and shallow water, stones to make insta pics, bars everything is there! The best beach for us visited in Corsica! Recommended!!!
Taja Sim — Google review
Nice blue shallow water. Great for little kids. Lots of pine needles and other natural debris on the beach. On Sundays extremely crowded. Some jellyfish in the water.
Jana Munyon — Google review
This is, to me, the best beach in Corsica. The dand is white and thin, the water very clean and light blue. You can park very close to the beach if you get there early (before 10am) otherwise there are parking on the street and with a 10-15min walk (very easy) you get there anyway.
Around 11 till 5pm is a bit crowded but still there's plenty of space.
Veronica De Bernardi — Google review
Long Beach with lots of space n a couple of beach bars
Maria Ach — Google review
Very nice beach with very clear water. Good for snorkelling. Not that many different type of fish but enough to have fun.
Beach consists of white sand. Be aware of the sharp needles that fall from the trees.
Enough parking space along the road but also in the parking spots closer to the beach only a few meters walking and you are on the beach
Maarten de Heus — Google review
Despite being one of the most touristic beach in the island, it is very nice. Try to go early so can avoid the crowds.

Definitely overrated place. Corse have much more beautiful beaches than this one.
Don't get me wrong - it's still worth to visit but don't get disappointed looking on photoshop pictures.
Usually very busy and you have to leave car on leading road and walk at least 1.5km.
Cyprian Granosik (Gü_coder) — Google review
Beautiful long beach. Parking is a challenge but possible if you arrive early. Keep your flipflops/sandles on when up near the trees, sharp spines that fall from the pines into your feet are no good.
Matt J — Google review
Although the weather was very windy and not suitable for swimming, you can see that it is a great beach, with white sands and clear water. The space is not much, so maybe there are problems during high seasson.
Juan M. — Google review
Beautiful beach with very clear water. There is a lot of sand space so one can enjoy, and the water is shallow. Enough free parking space along the road.
Maria Clapés Cabrer — Google review

Beautiful beach!!!!!
Really warm and transparent water. Great place for sunbathing and swimming!
The popular Plage de Santa Giulia in Porto-Vecchio, a bay on the south coast of Corsica, is surrounded by clear, shallow water and beachside restaurants. The pier offers fishing opportunities.
One of the best beaches in Corsica! There are good bars and restaurants, water is crystal clear. One can walk around and explore nice and more quiet places around.
F. Zefi — Google review
We expected more since we visited palombaggia. Santa Giulia is long but narrow beach so we hardly found our spot. We were located in front of some mobile homes and it was really bad smell I guess from the toilettes. The water was clear and shallow, so is perfect for small kids. But a lot of grass in the water and on the beach. Parking lot is 5min away walking and it costs us 5€ per whole day.
Sanja Rozman — Google review
Very beautiful beach in the southeast of Corsica. Partly white sand and turquoise water. The beach is very long and unfortunately also very busy. Nevertheless beautiful. If you are looking for a quieter place to sunbathe, you should walk down the beach to the end, even further than the last hotel-restaurant. In front of the the Hotel there is also a small free parking lot, next to a small lake, but there you have to be a bit lucky, because the other parking lots cost 15 € per day. If you want to go out for a meal, you should know that the beach is mainly home to high-priced eateries. Exception is a kind of fast food restaurant, but that is unfortunately at the other end of the beach.

Long Nice beach500m from patking. Keep left to the Parking 5€ / restaurant charge for 10€ (discount 10€ if you go to the restaurant) I recommend to parking on the main road or opposite of the main road which is 500m walk to the beach as well

Great beach. Parking cost 10 Euro, but they give it back if you order anything in a bar or bistro. Clean sand, music, a lot of young people. Cool.
100% Recommended.
Alex Pelevin — Google review
An amazing beach with clear water for the kids to play all day. There are two bars where you can easily get all the necessary food and drinks, so if you are a person who can stay in one place for the whole day, this beach offers everything. For the first 50 meters the water is very shallow, again amazing for little kids. They can walk in and out (under your watchful eye of course) all day. The water was also not cold. I recommend at least a couple of hours to visit, but it could get crowded.
Jon Premik — Google review
A beautiful beach to visit. A free parking lot located at the beach. A couple of restaurants situatuated along the beach for an ice cream, a beverage or something to eat. Lots of shade and lovely white sandy beach.
Charlene Elliott — Google review
Water is shallow and clear, sand is white. Bay is beautiful and the ship can’t come close. So why just 3 out of 5?
The grade is lowered by the August crowd, but hey, this is the time i am here. It is super busy.
There’s also quite a bit of seaweeds that reduce the amount of available beach. They also smell quite a lot. If you’re going in the paid part of it, just disregard this, they keep it pretty clean and they look gorgeous.
Another minus is the parking, the closest to the beach costs 20€!!! TWENTY!!!
There are cheaper options with nice pals (search for the 5€ one on google map, there’s a 5’ walk on a nice path).
Overall, there are FAR better options. Balistra, petit Sperone, Stagnolu and even Rondinara.
mikyberra — Google review
Clear water, cute bars & a lot of parking space. Many people, even in october - but we had enough space. Perfect with little kids!
Mara Schlager — Google review
Very nice beach. We went there a bit late, but we will definitely come back for a swim, the surrounding is magnificent!
michel mougey — Google review
The beach definitely has a potential. However, it is a victim of its own popularity. In the high season it is very busy. Additionally, the beach is not cleaned of decaying sea weeds making it a very unpleasantness place to lay your towel on. The prices in the surrounding bars and restaurants resemble those found in Switzerland rather than in France. Perhaps the biggest nuisance is the noise pollution. The beach is used to rent all kind of watercraft that emit constant noise and exhaust fumes, polluting this otherwise beautiful place even more. You will do better going somewhere else, unless you enjoy crowds, high prices, dead seewed and noise.

One of the best beaches of South of Corsica. Absolutely loved the beach and the water. Highly recommended to visit when around Porto Vencchio
Sucheta Sarkar — Google review
This is what a beach should look like. Beautiful sea, mountains in the background, warm sun. Usually not too crowded, plenty of room to swim, take a walk by the shore, or play with your kids. Definitely will return here!
Tamás Kondor — Google review
Ridiculously packed and honestly expected a lot more. I think the beach is victim to its popularity as the beach was quite dirty with cigarette butts and random trash , and this was early in the morning. Also on the left hand side it’s just a port with all the boats so doesn’t feel great to be swimming so close to that. Views are very nice and water quite warm.
Getting in and out is a complete nightmare as the roads are extremely narrow and two cards barely fits. Arrive as early as possible and leave between 2-330pm
Nick Verschelde — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches close to Porto-Vecchio. It's definitely a must-see when you're in the area.
After 11 am can get quite crowded, but that's something normal.
Unfortunately, some people act like they are at their house throwing away rubbish like bottle caps. You have to be careful while walking on the sand.

Piscines Naturelles de Cavu - Piscine Naturali di Cavu
A beautiful walk to the water. A very easy, flat walk suitable for all people of all ages and abilities (prams are totally fine to go here) We parked up at a big car park (free of charge) and did a loop which was approx 4 km.
Charlene Elliott — Google review
The spot that everyone comes to take a swim is very crowded which lost the tranquility of the place and the water was not as clear as the other part. HOWEVER!!! if you want to dodge that and enjoy the beauty of the your “private pool”, walk down a little bit more there are tons of small rivers that you can find. The water was pristine and the scenery was a WOW!!
Mai Chi Nguyen — Google review
Nice spot, a bit touristy, but we fully expected that. If you go with kids, there’s a nice adventure-park that is quite expensive but my lads had a lot of fun. We hiked only 20’ or so because the weather was not good, but I expect that the most beautiful spots were up the path.
mikyberra — Google review
if you love nature and hiking, don't miss this place. Basically there are several natural pools all along the river with crystal clear water that lures you to jump in. The water is cold as ice though, so taking a bath there requires some adrenaline. The are are some 10 of them and the upriver ones are the most beautiful, so I advise you not to give up half way and go all the way up. You can drive as there's a (dirt) road going uphill parallel to the river, or you can leave your car in the parking lot and walk the last 2 km or so to admire all the pools on foot. And a piece of advice : on the other side of the river, oposite to the road, there's a trail that follows the river bed, so if you're into hiking I advise you to go on that trail either when you go upriver or for the return journey, it's just wonderful.

Beautiful river with lots of waterfalls and lagoons. There are quite a lot of tourists, but you can find a place without tourists. The path is a little broken, but it can be done. Children love it here.

Beautiful area to visit. There is parking at the start of the 1.5km walk you need to make before reaching the piscines. Well worth the walk on a hot day.
Amy Halliday — Google review
Beautiful green and shady place where to have a nice swim. There is a little snack place but it was close when we went. Not recommended for people with limited mobility as one has to go down not much but is not a proper path, and once you are down there is just rocks. to get to the water. The road to get there is quite winding, in case get sick easily or if you are pregnant.
Rocío Alcaman — Google review
Great for hiking and swimming in rock pools.
Martin Cvilink — Google review
Had a nice hike through the rocks which i would recommend instead of taking the dirt road path.
The natural pools are pretty but very crowed. There was a spot (5 mins walk) that was wonderful with no one.
If you go all the way to the end of the path right where theres the restaurant, you will find everyone which is very crowed.
Since crowed, parking is a bit annoying bc you will go around for a while. At least parking is free.

At 11am, we’ve ordered 2 cappuccinos at an almost empty restaurant. We were served two cups of warm milk with barely dissolved instant coffee or similar substance floating on top although they have an espresso machine. Upon politely asking whether our order was misunderstood, we were informed in no uncertain terms that “chez nous le cappuccino est comme ça”. Best avoided.

This was such a nice place - our first question was “do you accept credit card” as some very nearby places don’t or pretend they don’t accept CC but here the waiter/ owner was very clear: yes we do - the food itself was very tasty, the service was very friendly (almost ‘not-French’ if you get my point), and the location/ view is excellent - thank you “Aiguilles” team!
Ingmar Boon — Google review
This place is excellent in a lot of regards.
They offer top quality meals, when "it was too late" for the other two restaurants nearby, the staff are excellent, very nice, the meals were all of a quite large portion and very tasty.
You can even get accommodation (with breakfast, lunch, dinner included) below in the basement on bunkbeds, they have showers, a small kitchen.
Overall, it was an excellent choice to rest here for the evening before continuing our journey on the GR20.

We like corsica ferries more than m...y ships. But it depends. They have good ships and not so good ships. We had a lot of cabins. Some cabins are quiet and some are very noisy.
Reviewer cheffe — Google review
My suggestions for improvement: The staff on the Livorno ferry could definitely be friendlier. A more polite manner and greater willingness to assist would significantly enhance the travel experience. The ferry seems to be in an outdated condition and requires renovation. New carpets, chairs, and overall modern furnishings would uplift the onboard ambiance. If dogs are allowed on board, appropriate facilities should be provided for them. Artificial grass and clean disposal options for dog waste would be a welcome improvement. The conditions of the onboard sanitary facilities are unacceptable. Cleanliness and hygiene should be top priorities and urgently improved. Surveys should inquire about the status of the pool if it is actually in operation. The information should be current and relevant. The website is also in need of improvement to better inform customers about the services and the condition of the ferry. The Wi-Fi code didn't work, which was a frustrating experience. Likewise, the booked Express Boarding did not function as expected.
My opinion on the crossing: Overall, my experience on this ferry was disappointing. The staff's rudeness, the poor condition of the facilities, non-functional Wi-Fi, and the disappointing Express Boarding all marred the experience. The cabins were acceptable, and I appreciate the honesty of the staff when my wallet was found in one of the cabins. Boarding in Bastia went smoothly, and the staff there were more polite. Nevertheless, there is an urgent need for improvements on this ferry to justify the high prices. The information on the website should be updated to better inform future passengers and avoid disappointments.

They get you from A to B, with a big boat that you can put your car on. Expect no more and I wish you the best.
We had a 1-hour departure delay that turned into 2 (we were notified the morning of departure, that was ok), then ended up being 5 as we waited on the parking lot. And that was just the delay of departure. Upon arrival, there was another hour+ of delay for whatever reason. When the doors finally opened to get to the cars, the required vouchers for reimbursement magically went missing until there were just a handful of people left waiting. Great enthusiastic announcement over the PA system (also the first one on all this)! As we by then had a sleeping toddler and were in no rush (we stopped caring), we were among the last so we actually have the voucher. Don't expect any response when you try to get reimbursed, though. Their info on the website is total B#, there's no followup whatsoever (which is against the law, but hey..), they just don't respond and believe me, we've tried, in many different ways. A bad product is one thing, but a bad customer service is another.
No second chance from us, nor any of our friends. the worst travel experience of my life, by a lot.

Last summer I travelled from Toulon to Corsica to visit the village of my ancestors and promote my titanium bicycle. I recommend renting a cabin to be comfortable. It was a safe trip and food at the restaurants was very good. Staff was friendly and professional. Departure and arrival were very organized.
RIDE THE PLANET — Google review
When we boarded, we had to wait a long time until we got on the ship at the last minute. The staff seemed completely haphazard. The whole deck smelt of diesel and there were many damaged chairs. Everything vibrated and made a lot of noise, the stay was terrible and the ship looked very run down. The dog toilet was a disgrace. When we left the ship we were only allowed to our vehicles very late for some unknown reason, the gates were already open and when we entered the lower deck cars were already driving towards us. There was no question of safety. Then our vehicle was unfriendly escorted out by incompetent staff without really keeping an eye on the vehicles already travelling. The only positive aspect we can mention is that we were able to cross the sea at all.
Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention that the staff attach advertising stickers to the vehicles without being asked, which are sometimes difficult to remove without leaving adhesive residue.

2 types of boats. It gets the job done but 1 boat is pretty old and dirty, other one is bit more modern and cleaner. Ship is run by Italian people, and they run it like it's their own monarchy, with the passenger as lowest "rank". The boat had some delay and we had to get out of the cabins so they can start "cleaning" it. But the garage-deck wasn't open yet, so the hallway got more and more stacked and hotter and hotter and the crew was kinda shouting with the typical "italian" handsignals, not the best experience.
Filitosa, an important prehistoric site in Corsica located 20km north of Propriano, showcases remarkable granite menhirs that were erected up to 6000 years ago. Some of these standing stones were re-carved during the Bronze Age, about 2500 years later, depicting intricate faces and weaponry. These unique carvings seem to honor specific individuals. The site offers an hour-long exploration through open fields and hillsides that contain remnants of ancient enclosures.
Great place to visit, is really interesting and plenty to read. You can explore and take your time. The access is not complicated and you have parking and a little brasserie on the side to eat. I was impressed for the olive tree! The path is fairly well indicated however it could be improved a bit. The museum at the end is plenty of historic information.
Javier F U — Google review
Parc with ancient Filitosa statues spread over a few hectares. There is at the entrance a modern building with interesting historical artifacts and a shop. The entrance fee was rather high for what is there to see, on the other hand it’s a quite unique site which should be seen.

A place not to be missed. Looking at 8000 years old history. Museum well set with archeological discoveries set chronologicaly, village well preserved and great landscape.
Olivier Rahier — Google review
Nice archeological center, as it presents the history of Corsica. (The museum at the end d plains nicely). The site itself is a bit too basic, lacking an explanation (unless you purchase the guide which we didn't do as we already spent 9€ eaxh, for the entrance) that could have been included (the qr code give you access ti only very little and poorly translated information)
Veronica De Bernardi — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed every moment of the visit! I met wonderful people who feel responsible to save and share the ancient history and site. Walking there is simply so peaceful that I hardly wanted to leave while I learnt about history and the dedication of the family owning the site.

They do have a restaurant on site as well. The tour is audio guided via QR code.
Goodyear — Google review
Worth visiting for the anthropomorphic menhirs but otherwise compared to sites in say Brittany it is slightly underwhelming. Most of the museum was closed off when we visited with no explanation when it would open. The very good €2 guide guide leaflet is worth spending a few moments scanning before you start exploring. The most important menhir, Filitosa V, is now a replica but there is no mention of where the original now is.
John Laidler — Google review
Very interesting place, although privately owned and run it gives in depth information about the neolithic/bronze age people who used to live herein

The road to here is difficult
There are some interesting stones but for sure this "site" can be improved. They simply can add some flower gardens, some productive olive trees, etc
Hint: you can simply visit without paying if you take a look on sattelite images. I was very disappointed to see cars parked inside of this "site"

The Corsica Museum, located in the former barracks of the citadel, offers a spacious and well-organized exhibition on multiple floors. The museum provides a comprehensive history of Corsica, showcasing traditional habits, culture, and craftsmanship. Visitors can explore exhibits dedicated to Corsican anthropology and pottery while enjoying explanatory videos throughout the exhibition. The museum also features a lab for kids and an outdoor terrace displaying the "Corsican Head" sculpture.
Nice view from up there... Museum for shure worth a visit. They have also audio guides there... The center of the city is relay nice. Better don't visit with a huge car. Not much space there.

Very nice museum that does not pretend to be the world top. Interesting exhibition that narrates about Corsico origin, good collection of maps. The view from the fortress is marvelous!
Ирина Могилева — Google review
Spacious, well laid out museum on several floors.
The exhibits provide a comprehensive history of Corsica. You need to leave plenty of time for a visit if you want to read all of the detailed information for each exhibit. As with most museums there is probably more on display than can be absorbed on one visit. Don't miss the "Corsican Head" sculpture on the outside terrace on the first floor.
Brian Gavin — Google review
Worth going in for the views from the citadel alone. The directional signage is available in English, but the exhibition signs are French and Italian only. Interesting enough though.
James Harper (Mousetrapper) — Google review
Really interesting museum with plenty of greate exhibits and good styling. You can enter citadel from here. This place have a huge potential, problem is that they is not a single word in English on any of descriptions. That's something to fix and improve for sure .

Otherwise a nice museum, and the Citadel has a great view over the town, but if you don't speak French or Corse, the museum is simply not worth visiting because there are no displays written in English.

Very well-done the lab for kids: we were two adults without kids and enjoyed it so much anyway. Explanatory videos along the exhibition are nice as well. The permanent exhibition includes objects that show traditional Corsican habits, culture and savoir-fare, but probably should undergo a renovation. Small gift-shop, no bar or coffee inside.

Gorges de la Restonica is a stunning natural wonder located in the heart of Corsica, carved by the untamed Restonica River. One of the most renowned hikes in Corsica, the trail begins at Bergeries de Grotelle and leads to Melo Lake at an altitude of 1,711 meters. The route offers a breathtaking experience suitable for both adults and children, although proper footwear is recommended.
Splendid place but the road is really scary, barely the place for a single car most of the time.

There are two ways to reach Lake Melu, the one on the right is with a via ferrata, decidedly more challenging than the other, but not adequately signposted.

Absolutely worth discovering.
The natural bowls or swimming pools are a real treat in hot weather. Water a little cool but pleasant.
Be careful, the road that runs along the gorges is barely wider than a cycle path. Big danger to cross paths... with the void below.

Endroit magnifique, comme figé par le temps.
A découvrir absolument.
Les cuvettes ou piscines naturelles sont un vrai régal par temps chaud. Eau un peu fraîche mais agréable.

A Cupulatta
Zoo
Nature & Parks
A Cupulatta is a unique 2-hectare park in Corsica that houses a diverse collection of tortoises and turtles from around the world. It's an ideal destination for families, offering an educational experience as well as enjoyable moments for adults. Visitors can explore the park at their own pace, observing tortoises of various sizes and types while learning about their habitats and behaviors. The park also emphasizes conservation efforts, providing a glimpse into turtle clinics and rescue operations.
A simple lovely tortoise and turtle zoo. Who knew there were so many, ranging in size from a couple of inches up to the giant Galapagos tortoise. They look well cared for, and the zoo seems heavily into conservation. There is a small snack area at the end. A couple of hours well spent.
Rob Wood — Google review

The tour takes around one hour.
Parking is available.
Definitely a good place to entertain the youngest.

One of a kind place. So many different turtles! Must visit if you are in Corsica and you love animals.
Take sunscreen with you, it gets very hot during the day in the open areas.

We really enjoyed visiting this park with our baby. It's of course a perfect place for families but also adults can have very happy moments here.
The park is full of tortoise of many tipes and sizes (our baby loved the baby tortoise!). Every type is explained and contextualised, and all of the tortoises are at the open here.
We stayed also for launch. There is a little bar/restaurant with outdoor seats and hee you can eat also your food as a pic nic (not necessary to buy at the restaurant).
The price for a single day access is not high and in my opinion value for money. 😉

Plage de Saleccia, located on the northern coast of Corsica, is often hailed as one of the most picturesque beaches in Europe. With its white sand, turquoise waters, and lush vegetation, it's no wonder this idyllic spot was chosen as a filming location for The Longest Day in 1962. Accessible by boat taxi from St. Florent or a scenic drive from Casta, this half-mile stretch of undeveloped coastline offers a serene escape.
One of the best beaches I have been to. Wide beach fine sand turquoise water. Catch a boat taxi from the St. Florent pier. There are several companies on the pier that are not on Google Maps, not just Le Popeye. We made a reservation a day ahead with Spassighj’Agriate and they were great.
Dan Sinnreich — Google review
This beach is amazing, comparable with the best beaches in the Mediterranean. The only problem is how close the boats can arrive, it really feels like swimming in an arbour.
Eleonora Delfrate — Google review
Nice beach, but nothing ‘special’, loads of nice beaches in Corsica that do not require an hour off-road driving (10 kms) to get too! A nice sandy long beach, but the snorkeling was disappointing. Maybe a visit by boat would be the best option.
Nigel McKinley — Google review
Just an amazing beach!
The sand is superb, the water is azure, and the wind is calm.
However, you can't really get there easily: the "road" is 6 euro and if you don't have a tall 4x4 it's better not to go there.
On the beach there's no toilet or change room, so be ready to share some of your secrets. It's not a lot of people, though.
Vlad Kasianenko — Google review
Gorgeous beach! Definitely has an "Instagram vs Reality" feel due to the number of tourists and taxi boats. Maybe best to visit in the morning. We saw a few jellyfish during the late afternoon. Bring a parasol!
Melissa Warren-Garcia — Google review
Fantastic beach. I like the way to get there. There is no road. But with a motorcycle or a 4x4 car you can get there. The beach is very clean. The sand is fine but not more fine than on the other side like at Bastia. You can be shure that everyone on this beach has made a special effort to come here. There are sometime cows on thr beach. The cows like to play with some visitors. This plage is one of the most difficult to get there.
Reviewer cheffe — Google review
This beach is extraordinary special and located very nice. The scenery is just great. Clear water and white sand makes you feel like in the Caribbean. During the main season it's often crowded, but still worth a visit. You can go by 4 wheel drive from Casta or by boat from St. Florent. Or by your own car, and without 4 wheel drive it will take some hours to do down the earth road. Close to the beach there's the famous camping site and on the other end of the beach a very nice beach restaurant hidden in the pines. Definitely with a visit.

I give you as good description I can. Because I searched in advance before visiting Saleccia and didn’t get the whole picture. First. This is a beach worth traveling to. One of the top 10 in Europe if you search for unique places. This is natural. Beside Chia in Sardinia this is magic. For me. St. Florent is the nearest city. You will find at least 3 providers of transport by boat there. It cost you 30 euro in a rib. Easy 10 min. You can choose in and out times in advance if you are early or there the day before. From 09. Saleccia gives you about a kilometer of the finest sand with no gras or other. At the south end we found Rosa or pink if you want, sand. You walk easy out in the water. Slowly it gets deeper. So nice. We saw 4 private boats when we where there on a Wednesday in September. We walked 50 minutes to Lotu beach along the coast and returned from there. Wearing just sandals. Nice walk. Lotu is smaller and ok but we found Saleccia more perfect for us. You can also reach it by car. If you have a decent 4x4 just do it. They say 45 minutes. From the road up on St Florent mountain. You find it. There are many providers of transport in that area. 30 min from the city. So you need to add that for the 45 min if you stay in St. F. I don’t know the price for 4x4 transport.

First we were supposed to go on Tuesday which was cancelled because of bad weather. A strange story and not the case after all. On the phone and in the office they told us several times we should be there at 8 in the morning.
When we arrived on the new date, in time, the boat had left. The location bateaux 2000 can confirm we were there in time because we have been talking to them and they tried to help. They told us that we should have been there at 7.30h.
Maybe because of the different day the time has been changed?
When we called them they said we are wrong, we were not here at 8, they could not reschedule, we could not hop on our boat somewhere else and it is all our fault.
When arguing this she started yelling on the phone and did not stop. They did not come up with whatever solution. They are not even willing to pay us back the money if only it was partly! They do not pick up the phone anymore if we try to call them.
When two fight there is almost never 1 guilty, it was not all our fault we we’ve now lost 350 euro’s on nothing. Customer friendly?….

The Calanques de Piana is a stunning natural wonder where magnificent red-rock cliffs meet the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This awe-inspiring destination features a breathtaking road that is considered one of the most panoramic in the world, offering visitors an unforgettable experience. The area boasts gorgeous rock formations and lovely landscapes, making it a must-visit location for anyone traveling to Corsica. While it can be busy and difficult to navigate due to narrow roads, there are excellent restaurants with perfect views that are worth exploring.
Awesome eroded red rock formations, many looking ready to break loose! Beautiful views with sheer drops to the sea. Grab any and all small parking spots then walk usually less than 100m to get best views. Drive careful on the many blind corners!

An island region of France, Corsica lies in the heart of the western Mediterranean Sea. This mountainous and rugged island is ringed by lovely white-sand beaches and coastal cliffs. Our image was taken on the west coast, overlooking the Gulf of Porto and within the Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The dense, low evergreen vegetation growing here is known as maquis shrubland, and it grabs a foothold wherever it can among the jagged cliffs.
The Calanques de Piana are made up of a colorful type of volcanic rock called red porphyry. Over the years it has naturally eroded into the geologic sculptures and craggy cliffs we see today. The best time to view these rocks is in the late afternoon when the sun plays off the pink, orange, and deep-red hues.
Napoleon Bonaparte was born on 15 August 1769 in Corsica (Ajaccio 50 km south of this place).

The Citadella di Calvi, a historical landmark in Corsica, offers visitors a chance to experience authentic old streets and buildings. The citadel's location provides stunning views of the surrounding ancient city, bay, and mountains in the background. Additionally, it is conveniently situated within walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants. It is worth taking a stroll up to the citadel at least once during your stay to enjoy some cozy eateries with an exceptional view of Calvi Bay.

The top of the citadel was a great place to climb on during a cloudy day. Nonetheless, Calvi is great and the citadel as well.

We visited Calvi, some of us coming from Asia, some from Paris, and were looking forward to a dinner at La Villa. Not only was it very difficult to book a table, in spite of the restaurant being half empty when we eventually visited last May, but the experience was very disappointing. No welcome at the hotel entrance, very slow service -a nice lady seemed to be alone dealing with several tables- nothing of what’s expected from a 5 star hotel restaurant at this price. The sommelier was most unpleasant: arrogant, rude, not interested to explain local wines, only focused on filling and re-filling our glasses to the max -spilling wine on the table right from the beginning- even before any bread or other food had been brought to the table. I wonder if the experience can even get worse during high season when the hotel is busier. It’s a shame to offer such a poor experience at this price in a beautiful location.
Christian Piat — Google review
La Villa is a contradiction , it is a five star hotel but many facets of its service are distinctly lacking .
Firstly the positives
- excellent location
- clean and airy and modern
- good spacious bright clean rooms , the house keeping staff are excellent, friendly, enthusiastic and professional
- food is good , albeit I have had much better elsewhere.
- the young lady running the restaurant was excellent - very professional and friendly.
- the drivers were excellent- particularly Euan
The disappointments
- despite being a resident we were unable to book a table despite being flexible on time
- the wine waiter needs retraining !!
He pushed for our wine order even though we hadn’t ordered / decided on our food ! He made no attempt to be helpful , he overfilled the glasses , he even wanted to poor a second different wine into the same glasses we were frankly appalled and he argued the point.
He was rude and arrogant .
- the room service menu for children lacked imagination . It was also
Problematic that hot food was not available until after 7.30pm ( the food actually arrived at 8.50 pm).
- a meal served to one of our friends had paper in it !! The waitress apologised , but for a 5 star rating I would have expected the owner / manager / chef to come out and apologise- indeed the chef did come out and came over to us but then proceeded to talk to two people on the next table for 15 minutes with his back to us - a opportunity lost!
- my wife and my daughter were at the beach but the hotel refused to come and collect them ( having done so 2 days earlier ) - the person was unhelpful , didn’t offer to organise a taxi or make any suggestions
This hotel did not live up to its 5 star rating , please improve the consistency of your service level - attention to detail and training are core requirements.

This is a lovely peaceful hotel, with a magnificent view of Calvi. Very friendly and helpful staff with large well appointed rooms. The grounds and pool are well presented and it is in walking distance of the centre of Calvi, although it is uphill on the way back. Although they could lose the rubber ducks in the pool in front of the restaurant! (Some smart designers idea of being funny)

Had a disappointing trip here a while back. Food and drink were lovely but quite stuffy for the children to really relax and enjoy themselves. One member of staff (a driver/delivery guy) was so unpleasant to us, it really ruined our holiday. I complained to R&C who gave me a pretty pathetic response. Won't go again.

Nice hotel, room and view. However seriously let down by a few points: 1) food choice extremely limited 2) transfer from airport not organised properly; 3) air con in gym very weak; 4) shuttle car not at level expected; 5) staff -some lovely and some very unhelpful; 6) beach utterly dreadful. Overall much to like but could be so much better with attention to a few areas. Also not in the slightest kid friendly with very small pool and surrounding area.
Vicki Stern — Google review
Lovely place to stay. Classical and tranquil. The service is perfect as you would expect, and partly the reason why you'd stay for the care and attention to detail. I have added some photos of the views of Calvi bay and hillside the room. The hotel also have an electric car for shuttle services into town. So thumbs up for the environmental care. More hotels should follow this lead. People are taking notice of hotel policy and the care they make with impact on their local environment. Well done, Relais & Châteaux.

Beautifully situated on the water in the heart of beloved Menton, this space is whimsical and steeped in a history that is tangible. The art is sublime and the museum is well worth a visit.
Modest hillside campground with ocean views offering tent & caravan sites, plus cabin rentals.
Just lovely, so romantical & quiet place uphill 100+m over the beautiful Menton. 💖
The sea - awesome, even at the city beach (what I usually avoid) People - too! 💖
The price could be a little bit lower...
Wished to stay forever!

Very overpriced. The facilities were very dirty. The showers were horrible. No soap or toilet tissue. No garbage disposal site evident. Not much info given at check-in other than taking our money. Only French or Italian spoken. Person at reception (and the signs) say the gate is locked at 2200... we got back at 2110 and the gate was already closed and locked with nobody around. Only used this place as there weren't any other reasonable alternatives.

This is a nice campsite with great views, very clean amenities and friendly staff. However there are some issues! First is that there are only a small number of showers and toilets for a site of this size. Secondly these facilities and the site generally is looking very tired and needs a significant overhaul. Finally the price is way too high for the quality of the amenities here. We have stayed in places half this price that are better serviced. The route in is challenging which ever way you choose - best avoided if you have a large van. Steps up and down to town do make you very fit! Access to the train station is great for visiting other towns and Menton is lovely.

An ideally set campsite just outside of Menton. 15 min walk to town down the steps, a lot longer coming back up. One toilet per gender and 2 showers each. Water ranged from tepid to boiling hot depending on how many were in use. No toilet roll, no soap and no hand drying facility. Not sure if they had a washing machine as we couldn’t find it. The woman at reception was very nice and spoke good English. Wi-Fi was ok but didn’t reach our pitch. €44 per night for 2 people with a tent and car with electricity. Our car did not fit on the pitch. The pitch was rocky and on a slope. The tent pitches are located beside a busy junction with car noise late into the night and even a bin lorry arriving around 10pm. The tent sites also have no view of the sea which is probably what the steep price is for. Not a bad campsite to be fair but just wasn’t worth double the price of other sites.

Narrow roads and very steep hills, tough on your RV clutch and not for the fainted heart, off-season 49 euros with EHU, the whole area just doesn't work for motorhomes only vans.

Beautiful Camping in the hills of Menton!! We walked up there which was in the heat pretty exhausting - but we’ve been welcomed with some water by the receptionist. He made us a very nice price for one night and we had a great spot with a view over the city till the horizon!! Sundown from up there was Beautiful!!! Showers and Restrooms are clean! Would definitely come again!

I've stayed here a few times on tours through France. It is suitable for tents, and has some great views depending on where you pitch. The toilet/shower facilities are poor though, and it is crazy expensive at around €30 a night just a bike and tent and one/two people.
Carl Michael — Google review
Difficult to access the site, even using the recommended route. Views are spectacular but very difficult to access the town, and coming back up 300+ steps is not for the faint hearted. 2 sets of sanitaires we were closest to the more updated block, but it was something of a trek, especially if you need to go to the loo during the night. Decent restaurant next door to the site for meat eaters, but no fish or vegetarian options.
Not the worst site, but I wouldn’t be rushing back especially at these prices.

We absolutely loved this campsite!
The drive up through town was a little hair raising, so try and come around the back way if you have a bigger camper. If you come through Menton there is a few hair pin turns on a steep slope.
On arrival and for the whole stay the staff were very helpful and friendly! We were given a full intro to the camp, what was where, how to order breakfast and get into town. The showers and toilet were clean and comfortable. The views are amazing and it’s pure tranquility up there!
It’s around 10 mins walk from Menton back up to the campsite up steep steps so keep this in mind.
Our favorite campsite along the Rivera!
P.s the pizzeria next to the campsite is absolutely amazing for views and pizza! A real hidden gem! Staff lovely here too!
Rosie Thackray — Google review
Friendly staff. Nice camping spots woth some shade, but there are gravel and hard pressed soil instead of grass = more ants around and inside the tent. VERY expensive compared to other campings here, 47 Euro for one night 2 adults, 2 kids and a tent, without electricity. The gates closes at 10 pm, so after that you can't access your camping spot with car. Only 2 toilettes for the whole camping, but they are clean. No paper on the toilettes "due to covid restrictions", still. The dish wash sink gives only burning hot water (2 seconds, then you have to press the button again) and you can't lower the temperature. Unfortunately no other campings around.
Anna Samuelsson — Google review
The location of the site is brilliant, right on the side of a sunny hill in an olive grove just 15 minutes walk down into the bustling town of Menton. Our pitch overlooked the distant bay and we could see the tops of the wonderful buildings below. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The problem with the site is that it its very expensive (around 50 Euro for two people, a dog and a campervan without electricity) and the toilets / showers / washing up facilities are quite poor. The water was always much too cold and there was only one toilet in each of the two bathrooms (the female one had a broken seat too). The whole shower block was very dated, not very clean, and badly built and in need of rebuilding.
In our 4 week camping trip we stayed in 10 different campsites all over Europe. This one was easily the most expensive, and it definitely also had the worst facilities. The problem is that there is nowhere else to stay in the area, and it does have a great location, so you will just have to put up with it I suppose. Even we stayed a couple of extra days - C'est la vie! Hopefully they will demolish the showers and rebuild them, adding a few more toilets, over the winter when the site is closed...
Trevor Wilson — Google review
Stayed here two nights after finishing hiking the GR52. Thought the price (€27/night for two people in one tent) was reasonable given it’s in Menton. The facilities were fine, they got a bit messy by the evening but were cleaned overnight. It’s a 15 min walk to the beach and the staff were friendly enough. This is a basic campsite but provided everything we needed. It’s about 300 steps from town into the campsite so not suitable for those without a car who are unfit! Only real criticism is they told me when I tried to book on the morning of the day I finished my hike that I couldn’t book a place and it was first come first served which can’t possibly be the policy, so not sure what happened there…This is a great base for exploring the beautiful local area at an affordable price. Bring your own toilet paper, it’s not provided!

Castle Hill is an iconic Nices park with stunning city and sea views. There's a man-made waterfall and cafe on site, making it a great destination for a leisurely afternoon or evening out.
Lovely park in middle of Nice. Wonderful views of the whole city, the mountains and the ocean with a waterfall feature right below that you can walk up to.
There were archaeological finds and history buffs would appreciate reading the placards. We didn’t explore much around the park though.
Paths are wheelchair accessible, steep in some moments but completely manageable. There’s even a little cafe at the peak of the castle overlooking the city.

Nice spot to see a wonderful view. Not far away from the waterfall and way to go up higher. Elevator was not in service today but even for those with lower mobility, steps can be taken a little at a time with spots to sit along the way. Check it out!

Beautiful place with a fascinating view of old Nice . Beautiful nature, an impressive fountain.
In an open air cafe on a hot day, you can sit and enjoy a glass of cool beer or ice cream and then again continue sightseeing
of the historical sites or just stroll through the park. It is possible to walk down the stairs to
the promenade through the picturesque greenery.

If you want great views of the coastline, this is a great place. Captures the city of Nice and the water in a stunning picture. Highly recommend. The elevator/lift is free to use, just walk inside off the street and follow the signs.

A must if you're in Nice on holiday. Many stunning views from different viewpoints and lovely waterfall. Place to have snacks & drinks on top but take note, cash only! Was really interesting walking up from the town side and coming down the hill on the sea side.

Beautiful beautiful must visit place in nice. Either go early morning or later in the afternoon to enjoy the best views of the city. The lift to the top is free but can easily get crowded otherwise there is always the option to walk up to the hill which will roughly take 20 mins. There is a beautiful waterfall and park on top. Everything is free for the public no tickets required

Would recommend visiting when you are in Nice. Beautiful views from the top of the hill. You can also see a waterfall. Very peaceful park. There is also a toilet at the top which costs €0.50. Rewarding if you bring a picnic and eat it at the top.
Unfortunately the elevator was out of service when we visited but the walk up only took about 30-40 minutes at a slow pace.

Amazing view from this hill lead to the water fall. You can see the whole promenade from here and even nice airport you can watch the planes land and take off. The view looks amazing great at sunset and highly recommend. There is a lift you can take so you don't have to take the steps.

Unbelievable view on the Old City, the Old Port, the whole of Nice. Excellent playground. Free admission. You can climb the stairs from the side of the Old City, that is quite difficult. Or you may climb from Old Port if you prefer a more gentle path. An artificial waterfall, beautiful views, ancient, excavations, lifelong impressions....

Also known as Castle Hill, you have the option to walk up stairs, take a free elevator or apparently take a road train (for €12 I think, but I did not see or use this).
There were amazing views, and a waterfall, as well as some architectural ruins to see. On the day I visited, there were some people dressed up for photos, some zumba near the cafe and some others doing yoga. It was a really hot day so I bought some water at the top (€2 a bottle which was not cheap but very cold!) The cafe also sold many other drinks and there were tables and chairs for patrons as well as areas with benches.
It was very scenic and felt very relaxing, for me definitely worth the climb!

If you're looking for a stellar view of Nice, check out Colline du Château. This place is simply fantastic! It's a prime spot for a bird's-eye view of the city, and the best part is, it's free.
Whether you fancy a climb or prefer a lift, they've got you covered. Plus, the spot is stroller and wheelchair friendly, so it's perfect for everyone.
But that's not all. Once you're up there, there's a pretty garden to chill in and some shops where you can grab a bite or a drink.
We decided to descend via the road, and it led us right back to the old town, Monument, a Giuseppe Garibaldi place, to be exact.
All in all, a must-visit if you're in Nice. It's a five-star experience for me!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are in Nice! You have several options to get up to the mountainside. There is a tram that can take you up; it will cost you about 12€, but it's worth it if you aren't capable of climbing the stairs. You can also drive up; there is parking up there, or you can simply take a taxi or Uber. I decided to take the stairs.
Zora Tan — Google review
It’s free! There’s an elevator you can take up or take the stairs, driveway up/flat surface where you can travel by a cute trolley train. This is a family friendly park, it’s huge up at the top with several different playgrounds for kids of all ages from toddlers to middle school. Lot’s of open space, sitting areas, views, outdoor cafe that serves, beer wine, sandwiches, burgers, ice cream. Toilets are .50€ or 1.50€ on a credit card. Very relaxing open space

u can walk, take a tourist guide train or i even think an elevator but i would recommend walking. its not that far and the view is great even while walking and you miss a few beautiful things on the way there.
the park is also really great and there are even public toilets even tho you have to pay a little bit. there’s a restaurant and you can buy ice cream and stuff like that. its a great place for children.

Colline du Château offers a wonderful viewpoint with panoramic vistas of the entire city of Nice. The climb to the top, though a bit steep, is rewarded with breathtaking scenery and a cascading waterfall along the way. After enjoying the views, you can descend on the other side of the mountain, perfect for a leisurely walk. At the hill's summit, you'll find two historic cemeteries to explore—one Jewish and the other Catholic—as well as two panoramic viewpoints offering stunning perspectives of Old Town and the port.
Sue Real — Google review
Although the history of this hill can be traced back to the 11th century, there are actually no eye-catching monuments and no historical ruins. The road sign up the hill indicates WC, but it is actually closed, which makes it very inconvenient for tourists. . The reason why it is known as the top tourist attraction in Nice is because, in fact, there is really nothing interesting to see in Nice.
People who come here are looking at Nice Bay and Nice City from the observation deck. But for local residents, this is a good place for a walk, not a special scenic spot.
The mountain is not high. You can climb up the mountain or take the elevator. There are several scenic spots on the way up the mountain with beautiful scenery and delicious food, so I think hiking is the better way.
Martin Miler — Google review
Wonderful view point. You have to go all the way to the top on the stairs and see a wonderful panorama of the entire city. There is also a waterfall on the way. You can go back down on the other side of the mountain, it is a good place for a nice walk.

The scenic walk up to the hill is refreshing, with charming pathways, and plenty of spots to pause and enjoy the surroundings. As I climbed up, the panoramic views of the city, the iconic coastline became breathtaking.

We walked all the way up from Old Nice - quite a hike up steep roads and stairs. About 5,000 to 8.000 steps according to out Fitbit. We were on the north west end and didn't have the elevator /ascenseur which is on the south end off the Promenade Des Anglais.
But really worth the climb for the amazing views of the harbour, the beach and the city.
We got to see the sun set over Nice. A bonus.

Very disappointed with the way the carnival was conducted.
The place itself was ok but man is there 0 information about what happens on opening night.
They say its free for entry and then when you queue up suddenly everyone has tickets.
They block the whole view from the sides for the carnival and hold it in a super exclusive staged area.
We travelled all the way from UK for this for nothing.
If people say we should have bought tickets in advance, its clearly mentioned on the website that its free on opening day and doesn't mention about any tickets!

Lovely area with live music regularly. We found many shops and restaurants in the area. We didn't have a chance to see if uber was well represented here because our hotel was close enough to the water as close enough to Nice Massena that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Old city is very near. So is the castle hill. Both places I would highly recommend. The beech of course, too! We found it quite easy to communicate as English speakers. We were only in Nice 2.5 days but would happily return to this area!

It is about 7km of magic. Whenever I am Nice I have to walk this walk where I get to enjoy the Mediterranean sea, different people walking long locals, and visitors. Different generations from all walks of life, it feels like a small world. I am glad that the city of Nice didn't allow anything to be built between the beach and the promenade.

Popularly known as Palais des Festivals et des Congres", La Croisette is about 22 km long promenade in Cannes along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea where the Cannes Film Festival is held. There is a sidewalk with hotels, casinos, brand stores, a rose garden and places with lots of shady trees where families meet and spend their quality time. There are interesting places around this place to stroll and explore. If you are falling short of time or do not have energy for a walk, then one can enjoy a small touristic city train tour to explore the nearby area. The place is dynamic with lots of hustle bustle of the tourists and locals. The evening sunsets and the night illuminations and combined with festive fireworks make this place truly romantic and mesmerizing. A must to visit when you are in France.

A must see ! We did a boat trip from Cannes to Saint Tropez! Food trucks, sightseeing, water and the beaches are worth to visit and enjoy.

Visiting the Port de Saint-Tropez again was a delight. The weather was still warm for October, storm Ciarán wasn't on the horizon yet and... few tourists about. Yachts varied, as per usual, from the expensive yet butt ugly to the absolutely stunning beauties such as the ones in the below pictures.

Gorgeous place, worth the visit. Also, a great place to see the sunset. Grab beverages and takeaway food, and enjoy the view seating on the big rocks by the sea in the port.

Nice to visit..
Nice boat and yachts..
It is a pleasant place to walk and look at the yachts.. and when you get tired you stop at a terrace.. to eat something and drink a glass of good wine. Pedestrian access is allowed and you can even rent boats or go on excursions. In certain periods you can also see very expensive yachts...
The city is smaller than Cannes but in port you can see bigger yachts and more expensive

Lovely Marina, lots of restaurants along the front. Pricey as you'd expect. The boats are something else. Nice time to mooch before going into the town itself.

The harbor is beautiful and clearly laid out. There are plenty of expensive yachts to watch as well
many adjoining cafes

Good service and friendly staff! What is even more… The slips, restrooms and shower units are very clean. It was my first time to arrive in the port of Saint Tropez by my sailboat in May 2019. I sailed back again with my passengers and crew members at twice last month. Their good service remains unchanged so far. Definitely, we will be back again next year. 🇫🇷🇨🇦🇺🇸🇬🇧

Amazing place. The views, the yachts, the markets. Staff friendly every where we went. Recommend you take a short boat trip around the bay, great value.

Stunning views of the port (and the luxurious yachts!). There were heaps to see (art galleries, museums) and do (dining, shopping) in the area.

Many restaurants, coffee shops, public toilets and big parking area, not far from old town with stunning views and boats ( you can rent boats as some of them displayed their offers ). A good walking tour between old and new.

I heard so much about St Tropez that I skipped other places just to be here. It was very unfortunate that it wasn't as I expected. We took a ferry from Nice on Tuesday. There was town market at the market square. I didn't find anything really special there. Of course there were rows of high end boutiques and shops for those who go for branded goods. The self operated public toilet which cost 50 cent was very dirty. The only cafe we found was the one near the market square. There were many restaurants at the port. Personally, will not be going there again.

Stunning marina filled with impressive yachts from all over the world making St Tropez a very pretty port town. Nearby is the Gendarmerie Nationale which made St Tropez famous in the cinema world, including Brigitte Bardot, with a statue dedicated to her next to the building. Bardot is St Tropez's most famous resident.

Very clean
This time of year most places are closed. Great place to walk around.

Rather spoilt by the very large displays of 'look at how big my boat is' overshadowing the beautiful architecture.
People in the shops & restaurants, very friendly.
Grotte de Saint Cézaire is a stunning cave system filled with intricate stalagmites and stalactites, offering guided tours that showcase its celebrated cave, dolmens, and barrows. The 40-minute exploration of this underground world provides a glimpse into its Roman and medieval past. The tour is informative and suitable for all ages, with the temperature inside remaining constant at 15 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
Blown away! This was my first experience in a cave but it was incredible. The history behind it was fascinating. The tour guide Tom was super friendly and patient. Highly recommend.

A 40 minute guided visit inside in this not so big grotte/cave for the family. Beautiful stalactites that were created as years passes by. Just be careful when going down as to not fall as the path can be slippery. I wouldnt recommend going down with handicap young kids that have trouble walking. The entrance fee was reasonable.

Highly recommend!
The tour is great for all ages with beautiful geological formations and lots of interesting facts about the caves. Definitely worth a visit.
The staff spoke perfect English and were extremely knowledgeable. And super nice!

I recently had the pleasure of exploring the depths of Grotte de Saint Cézaire, an enchanting natural wonder tucked away in the Domaine de la Grotte Saint Cézaire. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by an aura of ancient mystery and natural beauty.
Our guided tour was not only engaging but also fun and educational. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, weaving stories of the cave's history, its geology, and the unique features of the intricate stalactite and stalagmite formations, holding us spellbound throughout the journey. Their enthusiasm for the cavern's secrets truly elevated the experience.
Despite the deep, cool, and sometimes narrow passages, the tour was accessible and enjoyable for all ages. Whether you're a seasoned spelunker or new to caving, Grotte de Saint Cézaire offers a fun, captivating experience that unites adventure and learning.
In conclusion, a visit to Grotte de Saint Cézaire is more than just a tour; it's an immersive journey through time, encapsulating millions of years of natural history in a breathtaking, hour-long exploration. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an intriguing and enjoyable activity in the region. Don't forget to bring a light jacket – it's cooler underground!

Beautiful jewel of an afternoon out. I would suggest trainers for this 40 minute exploration of a grotto to discover a secret underground world. The tour is about 40 minutes and is in groups of around 10. The history of the formations is fascinating and the kids loved it. The Nex door there is an accrobranche zip line facility which the kids would like, but it was raining on our visit. Drive up to St Cezaire is beautiful also and there is free parking on site. Well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed the tour and learned. 9€ per adult is fair.

This was a really nice day out. The grotte was fascinating and enthralled a 4and 6 year old, mainly because of the fantastic young man who was our guide. Tyrolean for older kids, archery, mini golf, bouncy castle and snacks, all done very nicely nestling in the countryside. This was a nice thing to do, not a rip off, nice selection of souvenirs too.

Visited this grotte multiple times. It's a guided tour and better to reserve tickets online. So you know the time you can enter. Else you need to buy tickets for the next entrance and wait for may be 15-20 min.
There is a restaurant nearby and a food truck. There is a good big area for accrobranche for kids and adults. So you can plan atleast half a day here after the visit. Nice and shady place outside the cave as well. Will recommend

We visited on a Sunday in February and it was a great time to go. Only a handful of people were on the French/English tour. The guide was approx 45 mins while we winded through the cave passages. It was well done, lots of interesting information along the way. Be careful as it can get slippery and there are some low parts that you need to crouch down. Not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. 15 degrees no matter what season. A lovely shop at the entrance to purchase souvenirs. Well worth a visit especially for children, it was such a great experience!

Small but outstanding formations. Our guide Derek was outstanding. You could tell he loved the underground world. He pointed out interesting features that would have gone unoticed.

Slightly off the beaten track, these caves are great for a family outing. With a great guide in French & English, visitors are taken down the grotto through easy-to-walk steps until a depth of 40m is reached. Temperature is a constant 15C so some might want to bring a light sweater.
For sure worth a visit if you're in this part of Provence.

Citadelle d'Entrevaux is a captivating historical gem! The medieval fortress offers breathtaking views, intriguing architecture, and a step back in time. A must-visit for history enthusiasts, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

I loved seeing the old citadel le and imagining how difficult it must have to live there. Cost 3€ for adults. The views from the top down the valley were amazing.

Very romantic place, tho you ha e to pay for the entrance, where no stroller could get through. Shame, but otherwise worth the visit.

Quaint medieval town - tough climb up to the citadel but its worth it for the panoramic views of the town and the surrounding area.
Samuel Hardy — Google review
A stiff walk from the town is very worthwhile . This fortress, typical of Vauban, is definitely a must visit when in Provence. The history dates from 1690 when it was built to the beginning of the twentieth century when it was used in WW1 to house German POWs. The views are also exceptional and worth the climb just for the scenery.

As others wrote, the pay-as-you go gate is basically a lottery ticket. You might get in or not. Today I have probably drawn a blank/ contributed 3€ to conservation efforts. I’m not a gate engineer but this should be fixable. Otherwise the views from the photos of the ones that made it in looked fantastic.
Christian — Google review
A pleasant hike and view. But beware the pay-as-you-go gate, which doesn’t always function properly and may accept your €3 without opening. The tourist office at the city gate will not give you a refund. This should change.
