sand beach. this part is not that crowded as others. water is quite clear thou it depends on tides. if it's a bit stormy there's a lot algae and other sea stuff floating. when its calm you can see and swim with fish. there is a lifeguard post

My favourite beach in Sardinia! The sand is soft and white, the sea is turquoise. During the week end, in the summer period, it could be a bit crowded

Long white-sand beach for swimming & surfing, with restaurants & bars along the shore.
A very beautiful beach. Has many bars, sand, water is deep. It is easy to go from the beach to the sea, not much heel. It has mountains, big stones a lot of trees.a lot of parking near by which cost only 0.50 cents. I really like it and very recommend it.

nice clean water, sand like a gold , great bar near by and beds with parasol for rent :)

Agree this is a very beautiful spot. We used chairs provided by Maty Beach - all was very clean, sturdy, comfy and working order. The beach was pretty we are here in September so there were very little people. It was perfect.

Cala Goloritzé is a white-sand beach and pinnacle in the Gulf of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The stunningly beautiful beach can be accessed by hiking from the Altopiano del Golgo, or by boat from the nearby town of Solsona. It is one of the most popular beaches in Catalonia, and attracts climbers and hikers who enjoy some adventurous activities like climbing to see views from 148 meters atop The Aguglia rock needle.
Let’s talk turkey: You need to earn this fantastic view. The hike takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. But seriously it is definitely worth it. You will be rewarded with a fantastic beach with turquoise and clear water - a bit saltier though. The sand is white and beautiful. When we were there, we could see some jellyfish. So you better watch out. The trail winds through sun-drenched fields, rocky caves and shady groves where you can say hello to goats and wild boars. Take plenty of water with you, wear trekking shoes or at least sneakers and apply enough sunscreen.
Nathalie Reichmuth — Google review
First of all, EXTREMELY CROWDED BEACH. I visited at the end of september and there were still a lot of people. Better to visit in low season.
You have to do a hike of 4km to get to the beach. Pretty easy to go down and up.
6 euros entrance fee. You have to book online (only 200 people per day).
We saw a lot of donkeys, cows and goats which I loved!
Water was not crystal clear, so, not so good for snorkeling.
In general, very good beach and hike (despite having so many people), colors are true and the location is very virgin.
barbierikab — Google review
Beautiful beach, but small, way to crowded.
Ticket online 6 euros per person. One hour to get there, around hour and a half on the way back. The road to drive a car to the starting point....not very enjoyable 😁

Amazing beach! Clean and you can see the bottom very clearly. Better to reach this beach by the boat. We took the boat in Arbatax Port and reached Cala Goloritze in about an hour.

Absolutely lives up the hype. End of June and it was easy to reserve tickets day prior, so there should have been plenty of walk-up reservations as well the day of. Hike down took me about 45 minutes solo at a decent pace. Ascent back took just over an hour. You should be about 10-15 minutes back to the parking lot once you start to level out and descend again. The way down had reasonable amount of the trail was shade at 0830 due to tree and cliff blocking sun. On way back up at 1530 the sun was still high enough to take away a lot of the shade on the trail. Hiking/rucking boots or at least stable trainers required since most of the trail is rock scramble or loose sharp rocks. I wore light running shoes since they dry quickly and the treads and foam soles got chewed up. Beach begins to properly fill up by around 1030. Many of the shaded spots under the cliff overhangs are taken first. Since it seems visitors were well below the 250 limit it didn't feel too crowded, but at capacity plus any of the boat visitors swimming to shore it could be quite crowded. I took 2.5Ls and between hiking quickly and swimming a lot there, it was not enough. 2L minimum, 3L if you can carry. The restaurant at the parking lot is decently priced.
Simon E — Google review
It’s the most amazing beach I have ever been. The path is quite hard and you spend around 1 hour to get there. But it deserves. The ticket is 6 euros and I would recommend to book the entrance, wear sneakers and a big bottle of water. You will not regret! Enjoy it 😊
Oscar Palomares — Google review
As many reviews say be ready for the walk/hike. It's 3.6kms each way with approximately 500m of climbing, it's more difficult on the way back.
Cost is €6 and parking is free. Shoes are a must, the path is easy to follow but the terrain is harsh. Take plenty of water especially if you plan on staying at the beach for a while, there is literally no where to buy anything once at the beach.
The beach itself is very busy, I went around 3pm (mostly for the hike) and the beach was full. Also word of warning the beach isn't always as calm as some photos might show, with a slight wind out at sea the waves can be very rough and wouldn't recommend for not confident swimmers.
Highly recommended it overall, it's a real gem of Sardinia and one that many will not be able to say they have been to!

Amazing beach, impressive turquoise water, fantastic surronding
The best thing is that boats can not reach the beach. It is a paradise with a tribute to pay - 1 hour + hiking to go there and 1.5 hours to go back .. but it is absolutely worth the effort

This was the most wonderful beach and full of marine life. Be prepared for around 1hr to 1.5hrs hike from the parking area to the place. Take with you water in the hot summer days and a small backpack. The beach itself is very small and limited people are allowed to come, however it can still be crowded, but is worth it.
Mihaela Valentina — Google review
Beautiful, but the way back up is a challenge. Make sure to have good shoes, and preferably some walking sticks. Water and sugar is a need for the hike back up. It is more difficult than the hike to goropu, but a bit shorter with less general elevation but however a bit more technical (as in more rocky and natural walk).
Worth the effort, the beach is wonderful!
Jolanda Saxfors — Google review
One of my favorite Beaches, wonderful place and walk for 1h and height difference ca.500m but its costs €6, you ... for what?

We hiked to the beach during low sunny season in April. What I understand this makes totally different experience!
The way to parking area is the most difficult if traveling by car: Long curvy mountain road.
Once arrived to parking friendly hosts at till advise you to take a lot of water and snacks; in April we did not need a lot to drink; though in summer this could be a necessity. Also we did not book in advance, which would be quite opportunistic in high season.
Water and food could be purchased at restaurant which is located directly at parking area.
The hiking route is not difficult though at least trainers is a must. My daughter which is 8 year old coped with 1.5 hours trip quite easily. The trail is very picturesque.
But the most beautiful is certainly beach and its light blue water. In April it was not crowded and there were only 3 boats.
There was no dining place at the beach and it closes at 4 pm.
On the way back (it felt much easier, though most of the way it was elevation) we ended up at restaurant (where we parked). It has good choice of Italian salads and beverages. Despite price it has good shadowed outside area with tables and benches; good closing point of the trip!

The most amazing rock formation gives this Cala a special vibe. Though you can’t be reach the beach by big boats you can park in front of it and have a swim right in the middle of the ocean which is what we did while getting to enjoy the fish and the pure cristal water. All shades of blue.
Florencia Soruco — Google review
We absolutely loved the hike! Especially the way there. We are not hikers yet we were able to do the way there in 50min and the way back in 1h10!
Getting there is quite easy but the way back was really hard.
You must book in advance as the places are limited, nevertheless the beach is extremely busy and it's almost impossible to find a nice spot in the sun on the beach.
The beach is quite small but the sea is absolutely fantastic.
We were scared that it might be too sunny but actually most of the beach was in the shade by 12pm.
Highly reccomend bringing water and food (as there is no bar on or near the beach) and insect repellent as it is FULL of wasps.
The water is absolutely fantastic and crystal clear but there are some biting fishes next to the shore

Beautiful place in Sardegna!
It's one of the beautiful beach in Sardegna.
Useful Informations:
You will reach the place from Su Porteddu. It's a hiking path from Su Porteddu to Cala Goloritze. You must take hiking/sport shoes and sport clothes. Because it has a lot of different type of stones and the path could be neat. Please take with you a beach umbrella. The beach isn't fully with sand. Most of them are with stone - up and downs. You must do a reservation on the app Heart of Sardinia to get access to the beach, otherwise you can't. Please go there in the morning , because you can accesss the beach till 15:00.. when you arrive at 16:00 they won't let you go to the beach, because they close at 17:00! The hiking back to the parking is very hard in the sun. Is really hard.. I'm hiker and it is to hot to hike up. Please take each person 2 liter water with you!
Negative Points:
You have to pay 6.00€ to walk to the beach Cala Goloritze. The path isn't clean or prepared to walk.. for 6.00 for each person they could prepare the path. You won't have a reservated place at the beach you have to find a place and it hasn't a lot!
At the Beach they don't have water or a small Kiosk to buy water or something.
To the restaurant Su Porteddu there is always a donkey. I don't know why a donkey is there.. it is whole day there.. in this hot wheater.. i'm feeling bad.
Good points:

Grotta di Ispinigoli is a fascinating cave and grotto with enormous stalactites and stalagmites. Guided tours are available in both Italian and English, but visitors should be aware that the lights are turned off every hour for 20 minutes to protect the delicate ornaments. The cave boasts Europe's tallest column at 37 meters, which is comprised mostly of stalagmites.
Worth seeing, the guide was competent, it was nice to have a free time to watch the place on your own after staff's introduction.

Very beautiful cave, with a great guide. You can see they care about the cave. Small groups, and you get to walk around freely. You don't get a claustrophobic feel (which is nice in a cave).

Impressive display of the art and forces of nature with a well guided and informative tour. I tend to say better than the caves at the waterfront - it definitely saves you an exorbitant expensive boat ride and offers a nice hide-out from the heat. Perfectly understand why goats were the first to discover the cave. Beautiful!
Jo Ganter — Google review
Call beforehand to make sure the times for daily tours as they can fill up. No photos allowed inside the grotta but it is spectacular! It’s a narrow descent into the cavern where you will see some beautiful rock formations.

Beautiful underground cavern system with the world's second largest stalagmite/stalactite. Stunning little tour through the caves with very well informed and friendly guides, who speak English very well too. Thoroughly enjoyed our hour down there, and chatting afterwards with one of the guides about local sightseeing in the area. Just be weary if you have a fear of heights, as you will not like the descent down the metal staircases!
Joshua McDonald (Josh) — Google review
Beautiful cave worth visiting! The visit takes 30 minutes, optimal time for going with small children. Our guide was amazing 👑, someone who really loves caving, such a rare thing to find in tourist cave guides.
Mateja ?an Turk — Google review
The formation and the guide who led us deserve 5 stars. I deduct 2 because of the ban on taking photos inside (even without flash). The explanation offered for this simply read, on a poster at the entrance: “Because”. Ive done some research before posting and couldn’t find a valid reason related to preservation… anyway, if you like geology and fancy something different during your Sardinia visit, this really is a nice excursion with very well trained and knowledgeable tour guides.

Well worth a visit, we just rocked up on the day, had a drink at the restaurant by the car park and bought tickets to enter within the hour (tours on the hour in June/July). Cheap to enter and very interesting, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Great cave to discover. The visits are at hour mainly because they close the lights every hour for 20 minutes to protect its ornaments, the stalagmites and stalagmites. The visit is both in Italian and English.
It has the tallest column (when the stalagmites join the stalagmites) of Europe, 37 meters (36 of it is formed of stalagmites).
The cave and all it’s galleries are still to be explored. To date 17km have been explorer.
The ticket of 8 € (adult) gives you a free visit of the archeological museum in Dorgali (15 minutes away).
The is a hotel-restaurant near buy. I would advise to take a coffee or having lunch. The view is spectacular and the food is incredible.

Europes tallest Stalagmite cave is worth seeing bit small. Every hour you have a guided tour is in Italian and English. Next to it is a great restaurant and the views are very nice. Your not supposed to take pictures 😢

Nice cave to visit. I do find it expensive as it's only a 30 minute visit. The cave excist of 1 room, all other rooms are not open for the public.
Warning: you're not allowed to take pictures inside unfortunately
Ward De Campenaere — Google review
Very nice cave with a tour guide. The visit lasts around 45 min. The tour is very interesting and well explained but as the group is splitted in 2 groups (italian + english) with the same guide, the explinations lasts around 15 min.

Amazing cave! Left me speechless with its beauty ! The guide was very informative and helpful! Unfortunately no
Pictures are allowed which for me was really pitfall

An amazing experience. A very fast tour as this is a huge chamber cave, the only one accessible to the public. Stairs going down 50 meters drop to the bottom of the cave. Biggest pity? No photos allowed.

We had an excellent time there! The groups are small, the visit is guided, and you can get the maximum experience and enjoyment, without being crowded, and taking one's time to learn and observe. We recommend all the touristy caves in Sardinia, instead of the Poseidon one, which is a total tourist trap!

Oasi Biderosa Golfo Di Orosei is a stunning natural reserve located on the east coast of Sardinia, boasting pine forests, sandy coves, and crystal-clear waters. The park features a pond and five beautiful beaches with white sand. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails through the rugged landscape and rent canoes or bicycles to explore the area. The reserve is home to natural granite formations and ancient trees such as junipers, pines, and holm oaks.
Oasis 2 beautiful beach, white sand, and crystal clear water. Make sure you have cash for the snack bar and you have to pay for the entrance

Great natural park - do not miss this one and be sure to book in advance they require tickets to get in.

Great area for hiking. If you walk to the beach parking is only 4€ plus entrance fee 1€/per. If you walk slow and take many pictures hiking around the lake up the mountain and down again in a big figure eight takes 4-6h. Paths are easy and you will find many interesting places. Be careful in the shrubs as i got stung by some sort of wasp after just two minutes on the trail. The beach we encountered was pure pebble, okay for us as we did not care for a swim.
In the hills you will find some form of gemstones on the ground, mixed crystals and animals :)
Leave them there though.. the gems.. and animals.
I don't know why but along all the paths we could not find many birds.. a handful maybe. The upper lake was also dried out. Maybe go there earlier than september?
Many lizards and even a snake.

A beautiful pine forest with a long windswept wild beach at the front divided into 5 sections of beach (these are not 5 separate beaches or bays/ coves as I expected) ...be aware that all beaches on this western side are very much of the wild choppy sea long windswept type not the calm ' Caribbean' bays of the north west. Still very beautiful tho!
Bèrchida beach is a picturesque crescent-shaped sandy stretch that spans about 3 miles and is flanked by dunes, junipers, and pines. The area bears historical significance from the Roman era, with remnants of a settlement and an important port called "Portus Lugudonis." This stunning beach offers clear, shallow waters ideal for families with children.
Very beautiful beach! Wide, white sand, bars, parking. A wooden path from parking far into the beach. Recommended!

Long wide sandy beach. Plenty of space for everyone. There is a bar and a a very good restaurant in the beach. The parking cost was 2.5€ per hour. The most expensive parking in the area.

Nice beach in a very isolated area. The negative side it's far away from everthing including city areas and people need to pay 12 euros each person. Doesn't make any sense. It's a public beach.
Joao Fonseca — Google review
Lovely beach.
It is possible to arrive only by car due to a very long dirt road leading there.
Comfortable parking at the entrance (12eur per day).
Few beach establishments with the possibility to rent beds and umbrella at reasonable prices.
Bar and restaurant in place.
Cold shower for free.
David naftalis — Google review
A beautiful sandy beach which stretches for what seems like miles so if you are willing to walk a bit you can find a spot away from the crowds. If you walk to the left you will find some lovely rock formations. Water is shallow for many metres so you can go far out to sea and still touch the floor, and of course is clear and blue with no/very few stones! You can see the fish it's so clear! Car park does get full quickly even though it is huge so would recommend getting there before 10:30am, 6 euros for a half day, 10 for whole day. Plenty of kiosks selling food and water in the "main" area near the car park

Softest and whitest sand we saw on Sardegna. Amazing beach. We took 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 50€, which felt expensive, but was worth it. Has some nice snacks and drinks available. Paid parking, easy to reach. Our favorite on the island.

Huge & awesome beach with crystal clear water. Not crowded even in peak time. A few min walk from the entrance to sideways you can surely find a place for your parasol. There is a free shower also.
Marton Kurucz — Google review
A very long dusty road that leads to an €8 car park for the day, and then a stroll to the busy beach, BUT if you can persevere the road, and then the walk down the beach to the right (south), it's the best beach we've been to so far. Not very busy, quiet, clean, crystal waters. Beautiful in the evening in particular.

What a lovely beach. Even if it was windy, it was still magical.
It’s a shame that parking is not expensive and you can’t pay by card because of the lack of phone signal.

Husband and I loved this beach during our stay in Orosei. Crystal clear waters and quiet. You have to pay for parking, which we don’t mind at all, especially for the beach you get.
Kyra Collins — Google review
Absolutely stunning beach! Crystal clear water that is calm and shallow, so perfect if you have kids. White sand, facilities near by, what more can you ask for. Parking 10 euros full day which we thought was fair, loads of spaces. Beach gets busy but it's big so there is always room.. Def visit

At the end of a long dusty road, you will find a nice beach with a great food lodge. Every tourist will have to pay to enter. Locals go almost without economic damage. Actually car drivers pay much more for some hours than mobile campers, because they cannot stay overnight and benefit from a favourably night stay. You should better stay overnight than to raise the dust by coming and leaving daily.
Uncle Sam — Google review
What to say about one of the most beautiful beach of the Mediterranean Sea? It's just amazing. Try the southern side where the sands are more soft. The water can get a bit of Poseidonia depending of the current, otherwise it's just clear and warm.

Best beach I've been in Sardinia.
Wide spaces and shining blue water. I absolutely recommend
La Cinta is a renowned family-friendly beach known for its shallow waters and white sand, making it an ideal spot for toddlers and young children. Visitors can find convenient amenities such as parking, restrooms, and showers near the entrance. Additionally, there are options to rent umbrellas and loungers, as well as a restaurant and cafe located along the shore. A small gelato truck is often stationed on the nearby road leading to this picturesque beach.

Worth a visit if in the area. Allow 2hrs for the visit. Park your car at the car park by the main road and walk the remainder of the way up the single track road. Not expensive entry and the site is well kept and clean. Would definitely recommend.

This archeological monument is run by two lovely women. The entrance is charged 3€ for adults and 1,5€ for kids. It's worth it, though. The landscape is beautiful and the view is as well. Nuraghe majori itself is an interesting building of Sardinian architecture. In the area are toilets and a little souvenir shop. They give you a paper guide in various languages (even in Czech). From the parking it's a 5 min walk.

The high price of 3 euros is worth it! A more then 3000 year old and impressive building in astonishing condition. The staff is very friendly and enforce covid measures excelently (green pass, masks) .

Lu Impostu beach is a wonderful white sand and crystal clear ocean retreat in Cala Brandinchi, just south of Cala Brandinchi. With kayaks and umbrellas for rent, the beach offers a perfect spot to relax while taking in all the stunning views. In addition to its stunning natural beauty, Lu Impostu beach is also a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing during the summer months.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the area… it is like a follow up of ‘la Cinta’ of San Teodoro.
Wonderful cleaned transparent light blue water.
In the summertime, it is quite impossible to stay: so many people arrive here, but it is worth visiting this beach.
It is better to arrive sooner in the morning.
Remember to pay the park as local police fines you with the smile on his/her face.
No showers available, take your water with you. Only two beach resort in place.

The beach is amazing! We attempted to back there again, drove 2 hours just to be told that we needed to make a RESERVATION to access the beach. The make was very sarcastic and told us “didn’t you see the big sign in the entrance saying to make a reservation?” 😒 well, I didn’t see anything…

Tourist trap. View is nice but not nicer than anywhere else in Sardinia. Beach is ong but very short, full of water plants. You pay 2 euro/h for parking and you pay 2 euro per person if you want to seat on the beach but not only walk. This is a newly introduced rule this year, and it's totally ridiculous

Great beach 🏖️ Crystal clear water, soft sand, possibility to rent sunbeds and buy snacks at the beach bars. If you are without a car, you can use the beach bus to get here.
Andrejs L — Google review
We were driving 2 hours to Bradinchi beach but we couldn't go there as there was no empty space they said and we came here. You have to pay parking fee, 2€ to enter the beach, no shower, you have to prebook sunbeds too, there's grumpy sand, locals hardly speak in english or they didn't want to, it is also windy, there's only a small beach bar, all in all it was a disappointment. I would not recommend it. After that we decided to go to La Cinta beach which was nice but the wind blew the sand into my mouth and on me everytime someone walked next to me so we went back to our hotel. It is definietly overrated.
Otilia Karasz — Google review
It is a nice beach however, most of the beaches in the area are nicer, cleaner and less crowded! With a 2 euro per person online fee, you would expect the water to be more clean. The water is okay, but this is the first beach I have been to where the water isn’t crystal clear. I would not come back but provably go to any of the other nearby beaches.

The beautiful beach
I got there by public transport - line 2. You can't find them on maps, you have to check the timetable at the hotel or at a bus station. Book one day in advance online. Compared to Cala Brandinchi beach, I found places available faster, that is, from one day to the next.

Great beach close to San Teodoro and that part of Sardinia... You can come there by your own car but you must pay parking 2,5e per hour ....You can come by beach bus from San Teodoro or Porto San Paolo which is the cheapest option and best per my opinion... You must reserve your place on the beach online because from this year you can't come if not reserve place and show your reservation on entrance.... This sand beach is very nice, with so clear tirquise water... There you can find beach bar to take some drink or rent umbrella... Beach is always full of young people who enjoy there... All recommendations for visit and take some nice pictures and videos if you are in San Teodoro or that part👌

Nice, not the best beach but very good for snorkeling and maybe the fact that you pay a fee to enter brings just educated people as I had other places where people literally put their things centimeters away from yours which was very surprizing for me in the bad way. Here Ive felt different
Really nice, come early morning and you'll be great, prebook visit to avoid dissapointment
This one is better than Brandichi, in my opinion

Beautiful!!!! Cresent shaped white sand spit with clear pale turquoise gorgeous waters. Quiet , tranquil and green backdrop. Far far better than Brandishi. You can park right there at the end of the spit and Wade over in the shallows to the spit
Brandinchi Beach is a beautiful, picturesque beach located in the north of Sardinia and popular with snorkelers. The clear waters make this beach perfect for swimming, while the panorama of the surrounding islands is breathtaking.
Quite crowded with very pricy parking, but the carribean sand and colours are worth the hassle.

One of the most famous beaches in the area. You need to book in advance , otherwise you cannot enter the beach. Once you book arrive early or you need to wait to enter the parking. It was very crowded but the water is cristal clear. I enjoyed the beach but I’d recommend to go or early or in lunch time

Stunning beach, if only for the incredible water. Sand is amazing chalk like, although beach is rather narrow. Sea is Transparent and tropical colour, best I’ve ever seen. On a negative…Whatever you do, do not use the portaloos.. most disgusting toilets ever seen. You’d hope paying €30 for brolly and loungers they’d at least give you access to a toilet that’s fit for humans.

Amazing beach, probably one of the best in North East Sardinia. Also known as Little Tahiti, its sand is so white and its water so turquoise that you will feel like you are in the Caribbean. With its magnificent view of the Tavolara rock, Cala Brandinchi offers a breathtaking landscape. Seabed is also very shallow and crystal clear .
Things to know, parking costs €2 50 per hour so expect to pay €20 for day.
You need to book in advance for entry to beach do that on this website https://santeodorospiagge.it/cala-brandinchi/
Costs are 2€/visitor – 1€/visitor if you are staying in San Teodoro – Free for kids under 12
There are bars, free toilets + beach equipment rental (sun beds, sunshades, but you need to book those also.)
This is a must see beach but do book to avoid refusal.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardegna. Keep in mind that the parking for this beach is actually Parcheggio Lu Impostu. Really impressing rocks & worth a visit! Parking not so easy and the trails need some hints where to go. The beach directly at Capo Testa is a unique place, but extremely crowded - and hard to reach (some „climbing“).

Capo Testa is great for a walk to discover the rock formations sculpted by the wind. But it is also great for a swim. There are two sides, on one side a long strip of sand and the other a couple of hidden small creeks with some sand. We chose the later for its peaceful nature and crystal clear water.
Parking could be a big issue during the high season. While you come on the road and see some cars, park, don’t go further thinking you will find something. You won’t.

This is the most beautiful and interesting coast in Sardegna. Crystal clear water, some fish, strange rock formations and several path around.
Be careful with the parking! If you manage to find a place, where the whole car is beyond the white line, you are lucky, you can park for free. If a part of your car crosses the white line, you will pay a nice fine,so better choice to find a blue line slot and pay at a machine...

When I arrived at Olbia and I checked in my first question was
What place should I visit If I have only 3 days here?
The answer was: If you have a car you should visit Capo Testa
Capo Testa is located at the north of Olbia.
It is the closest point to Corsica and you can see it’s coast
This place (Capo Testa) is not only beautiful for being nearest to Corsica but also for the phenomenal small beaches with
Yellow sand, rocks and blue and crystalline water
You can find several beautiful beaches between Capo Testa and Santa Taresa di Galluro where you can choose either small beaches, Bahia’s and beaches a little bigger
If you are thinking in visiting Cerdeña staying in Olbia, you must visit Capo Testa (it’s far away 60 kms from Olbia)

We expected more since we visited palombaggia. Santa Giulia is long but narrow beach so we hardly found our spot. But a lot of grass in the water and on the beach. Parking lot is 5min away walking and it costs us 5€ per whole day.

Very beautiful beach in the southeast of Corsica. Partly white sand and turquoise water. The beach is very long and unfortunately also very busy. Nevertheless beautiful. If you are looking for a quieter place to sunbathe, you should walk down the beach to the end, even further than the last hotel-restaurant. In front of the the Hotel there is also a small free parking lot, next to a small lake, but there you have to be a bit lucky, because the other parking lots cost 15 € per day. If you want to go out for a meal, you should know that the beach is mainly home to high-priced eateries. Exception is a kind of fast food restaurant, but that is unfortunately at the other end of the beach.

Long Nice beach500m from patking. Keep left to the Parking 5€ / restaurant charge for 10€ (discount 10€ if you go to the restaurant) I recommend to parking on the main road or opposite of the main road which is 500m walk to the beach as well

Great beach. Parking cost 10 Euro, but they give it back if you order anything in a bar or bistro. Clean sand, music, a lot of young people. Cool.
100% Recommended.

An amazing beach with clear water for the kids to play all day. There are two bars where you can easily get all the necessary food and drinks, so if you are a person who can stay in one place for the whole day, this beach offers everything. For the first 50 meters the water is very shallow, again amazing for little kids. They can walk in and out (under your watchful eye of course) all day. The water was also not cold. I recommend at least a couple of hours to visit, but it could get crowded.

A beautiful beach to visit. A free parking lot located at the beach. A couple of restaurants situatuated along the beach for an ice cream, a beverage or something to eat. Lots of shade and lovely white sandy beach.

Water is shallow and clear, sand is white. Bay is beautiful and the ship can’t come close. So why just 3 out of 5?
The grade is lowered by the August crowd, but hey, this is the time i am here. It is super busy.
There’s also quite a bit of seaweeds that reduce the amount of available beach. They also smell quite a lot. If you’re going in the paid part of it, just disregard this, they keep it pretty clean and they look gorgeous.
Another minus is the parking, the closest to the beach costs 20€!!! TWENTY!!!
There are cheaper options with nice pals (search for the 5€ one on google map, there’s a 5’ walk on a nice path).
Overall, there are FAR better options. Balistra, petit Sperone, Stagnolu and even Rondinara.

Very nice beach. We went there a bit late, but we will definitely come back for a swim, the surrounding is magnificent!

The beach definitely has a potential. However, it is a victim of its own popularity. In the high season it is very busy. Additionally, the beach is not cleaned of decaying sea weeds making it a very unpleasantness place to lay your towel on. The prices in the surrounding bars and restaurants resemble those found in Switzerland rather than in France. Perhaps the biggest nuisance is the noise pollution. The beach is used to rent all kind of watercraft that emit constant noise and exhaust fumes, polluting this otherwise beautiful place even more. You will do better going somewhere else, unless you enjoy crowds, high prices, dead seewed and noise.

One of the best beaches of South of Corsica. Absolutely loved the beach and the water. Highly recommended to visit when around Porto Vencchio

This is what a beach should look like. Beautiful sea, mountains in the background, warm sun. Usually not too crowded, plenty of room to swim, take a walk by the shore, or play with your kids. Definitely will return here!
Tamás Kondor — Google review
Ridiculously packed and honestly expected a lot more. I think the beach is victim to its popularity as the beach was quite dirty with cigarette butts and random trash , and this was early in the morning. Also on the left hand side it’s just a port with all the boats so doesn’t feel great to be swimming so close to that. Views are very nice and water quite warm.
Getting in and out is a complete nightmare as the roads are extremely narrow and two cards barely fits. Arrive as early as possible and leave between 2-330pm

One of the most beautiful beaches close to Porto-Vecchio. It's definitely a must-see when you're in the area.
After 11 am can get quite crowded, but that's something normal.
Unfortunately, some people act like they are at their house throwing away rubbish like bottle caps. You have to be careful while walking on the sand.
Palombaggia is a picturesque beach located near Porto-Vecchio, boasting stunning views of its white sandy shore and turquoise waters. This scenic coastal area is surrounded by evergreen trees, creating a serene and natural ambiance. Nearby, visitors can explore the charming town of Porto-Vecchio with its historic citadel and quaint streets. Palombaggia itself offers a lagoon-like bay with clear and crystal waters, perfect for swimming or simply admiring the beauty of nature.
Wonderful sand beach with convenient parking. Came at around 11 in the morning and it was not a problem to park car in the shade of pine trees. And parking is free! Beach itself goes alongside, walk further and it will not be crowded at all. Crystal clear and shallow water, stones to make insta pics, bars everything is there! The best beach for us visited in Corsica! Recommended!!!

Nice blue shallow water. Great for little kids. Lots of pine needles and other natural debris on the beach. On Sundays extremely crowded. Some jellyfish in the water.

This is, to me, the best beach in Corsica. The dand is white and thin, the water very clean and light blue. You can park very close to the beach if you get there early (before 10am) otherwise there are parking on the street and with a 10-15min walk (very easy) you get there anyway.
Around 11 till 5pm is a bit crowded but still there's plenty of space.

Very nice beach with very clear water. Good for snorkelling. Not that many different type of fish but enough to have fun.
Beach consists of white sand. Be aware of the sharp needles that fall from the trees.
Enough parking space along the road but also in the parking spots closer to the beach only a few meters walking and you are on the beach

Beautiful long beach. Parking is a challenge but possible if you arrive early. Keep your flipflops/sandles on when up near the trees, sharp spines that fall from the pines into your feet are no good.

Although the weather was very windy and not suitable for swimming, you can see that it is a great beach, with white sands and clear water. The space is not much, so maybe there are problems during high seasson.

Filitosa, an important prehistoric site in Corsica located 20km north of Propriano, showcases remarkable granite menhirs that were erected up to 6000 years ago. Some of these standing stones were re-carved during the Bronze Age, about 2500 years later, depicting intricate faces and weaponry. These unique carvings seem to honor specific individuals. The site offers an hour-long exploration through open fields and hillsides that contain remnants of ancient enclosures.
Great place to visit, is really interesting and plenty to read. You can explore and take your time. The access is not complicated and you have parking and a little brasserie on the side to eat. I was impressed for the olive tree! The path is fairly well indicated however it could be improved a bit. The museum at the end is plenty of historic information.

Parc with ancient Filitosa statues spread over a few hectares. There is at the entrance a modern building with interesting historical artifacts and a shop. The entrance fee was rather high for what is there to see, on the other hand it’s a quite unique site which should be seen.

A place not to be missed. Looking at 8000 years old history. Museum well set with archeological discoveries set chronologicaly, village well preserved and great landscape.

Nice archeological center, as it presents the history of Corsica. (The museum at the end d plains nicely). The site itself is a bit too basic, lacking an explanation (unless you purchase the guide which we didn't do as we already spent 9€ eaxh, for the entrance) that could have been included (the qr code give you access ti only very little and poorly translated information)
Veronica De Bernardi — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed every moment of the visit! I met wonderful people who feel responsible to save and share the ancient history and site. Walking there is simply so peaceful that I hardly wanted to leave while I learnt about history and the dedication of the family owning the site.

They do have a restaurant on site as well. The tour is audio guided via QR code.

Worth visiting for the anthropomorphic menhirs but otherwise compared to sites in say Brittany it is slightly underwhelming. Most of the museum was closed off when we visited with no explanation when it would open. The very good €2 guide guide leaflet is worth spending a few moments scanning before you start exploring. The most important menhir, Filitosa V, is now a replica but there is no mention of where the original now is.

Very interesting place, although privately owned and run it gives in depth information about the neolithic/bronze age people who used to live herein

There are some interesting stones but for sure this "site" can be improved. They simply can add some flower gardens, some productive olive trees, etc
Hint: you can simply visit without paying if you take a look on sattelite images. I was very disappointed to see cars parked inside of this "site"

At 11am, we’ve ordered 2 cappuccinos at an almost empty restaurant. We were served two cups of warm milk with barely dissolved instant coffee or similar substance floating on top although they have an espresso machine. Upon politely asking whether our order was misunderstood, we were informed in no uncertain terms that “chez nous le cappuccino est comme ça”. Best avoided.

This was such a nice place - our first question was “do you accept credit card” as some very nearby places don’t or pretend they don’t accept CC but here the waiter/ owner was very clear: yes we do - the food itself was very tasty, the service was very friendly (almost ‘not-French’ if you get my point), and the location/ view is excellent - thank you “Aiguilles” team!

This place is excellent in a lot of regards.
They offer top quality meals, when "it was too late" for the other two restaurants nearby, the staff are excellent, very nice, the meals were all of a quite large portion and very tasty.
You can even get accommodation (with breakfast, lunch, dinner included) below in the basement on bunkbeds, they have showers, a small kitchen.
Overall, it was an excellent choice to rest here for the evening before continuing our journey on the GR20.

Very nice museum that does not pretend to be the world top. Interesting exhibition that narrates about Corsico origin, good collection of maps. The view from the fortress is marvelous!

Spacious, well laid out museum on several floors.
The exhibits provide a comprehensive history of Corsica. You need to leave plenty of time for a visit if you want to read all of the detailed information for each exhibit. As with most museums there is probably more on display than can be absorbed on one visit. Don't miss the "Corsican Head" sculpture on the outside terrace on the first floor.

Worth going in for the views from the citadel alone. The directional signage is available in English, but the exhibition signs are French and Italian only. Interesting enough though.

Otherwise a nice museum, and the Citadel has a great view over the town, but if you don't speak French or Corse, the museum is simply not worth visiting because there are no displays written in English.

Very well-done the lab for kids: we were two adults without kids and enjoyed it so much anyway. Explanatory videos along the exhibition are nice as well. The permanent exhibition includes objects that show traditional Corsican habits, culture and savoir-fare, but probably should undergo a renovation. Small gift-shop, no bar or coffee inside.

Lovely place! Great to visit before you get on the boats to the mainland. Be sure to also walk down the path to the ruin of the small chapel. There's a train that will take you up from the town center if you cannot walk up to the lighthouse.
Plage de Saleccia, located on the northern coast of Corsica, is often hailed as one of the most picturesque beaches in Europe. With its white sand, turquoise waters, and lush vegetation, it's no wonder this idyllic spot was chosen as a filming location for The Longest Day in 1962. Accessible by boat taxi from St. Florent or a scenic drive from Casta, this half-mile stretch of undeveloped coastline offers a serene escape.
One of the best beaches I have been to. Wide beach fine sand turquoise water. Catch a boat taxi from the St. Florent pier. There are several companies on the pier that are not on Google Maps, not just Le Popeye. We made a reservation a day ahead with Spassighj’Agriate and they were great.

This beach is amazing, comparable with the best beaches in the Mediterranean. The only problem is how close the boats can arrive, it really feels like swimming in an arbour.

Nice beach, but nothing ‘special’, loads of nice beaches in Corsica that do not require an hour off-road driving (10 kms) to get too! A nice sandy long beach, but the snorkeling was disappointing. Maybe a visit by boat would be the best option.

Just an amazing beach!
The sand is superb, the water is azure, and the wind is calm.
However, you can't really get there easily: the "road" is 6 euro and if you don't have a tall 4x4 it's better not to go there.
On the beach there's no toilet or change room, so be ready to share some of your secrets. It's not a lot of people, though.

Gorgeous beach! Definitely has an "Instagram vs Reality" feel due to the number of tourists and taxi boats. Maybe best to visit in the morning. We saw a few jellyfish during the late afternoon. Bring a parasol!
Melissa Warren-Garcia — Google review
Fantastic beach. I like the way to get there. There is no road. But with a motorcycle or a 4x4 car you can get there. The beach is very clean. The sand is fine but not more fine than on the other side like at Bastia. You can be shure that everyone on this beach has made a special effort to come here. There are sometime cows on thr beach. The cows like to play with some visitors. This plage is one of the most difficult to get there.

This beach is extraordinary special and located very nice. The scenery is just great. Clear water and white sand makes you feel like in the Caribbean. During the main season it's often crowded, but still worth a visit. You can go by 4 wheel drive from Casta or by boat from St. Florent. Or by your own car, and without 4 wheel drive it will take some hours to do down the earth road. Close to the beach there's the famous camping site and on the other end of the beach a very nice beach restaurant hidden in the pines. Definitely with a visit.

I give you as good description I can. Because I searched in advance before visiting Saleccia and didn’t get the whole picture. First. This is a beach worth traveling to. One of the top 10 in Europe if you search for unique places. This is natural. Beside Chia in Sardinia this is magic. For me. St. Florent is the nearest city. You will find at least 3 providers of transport by boat there. It cost you 30 euro in a rib. Easy 10 min. You can choose in and out times in advance if you are early or there the day before. From 09. Saleccia gives you about a kilometer of the finest sand with no gras or other. At the south end we found Rosa or pink if you want, sand. You walk easy out in the water. Slowly it gets deeper. So nice. We saw 4 private boats when we where there on a Wednesday in September. We walked 50 minutes to Lotu beach along the coast and returned from there. Wearing just sandals. Nice walk. Lotu is smaller and ok but we found Saleccia more perfect for us. You can also reach it by car. If you have a decent 4x4 just do it. They say 45 minutes. From the road up on St Florent mountain. You find it. There are many providers of transport in that area. 30 min from the city. So you need to add that for the 45 min if you stay in St. F. I don’t know the price for 4x4 transport.
We like corsica ferries more than m...y ships. But it depends. They have good ships and not so good ships. We had a lot of cabins. Some cabins are quiet and some are very noisy.
Reviewer cheffe — Google review
My suggestions for improvement: The staff on the Livorno ferry could definitely be friendlier. A more polite manner and greater willingness to assist would significantly enhance the travel experience. The ferry seems to be in an outdated condition and requires renovation. New carpets, chairs, and overall modern furnishings would uplift the onboard ambiance. If dogs are allowed on board, appropriate facilities should be provided for them. Artificial grass and clean disposal options for dog waste would be a welcome improvement. The conditions of the onboard sanitary facilities are unacceptable. Cleanliness and hygiene should be top priorities and urgently improved. Surveys should inquire about the status of the pool if it is actually in operation. The information should be current and relevant. The website is also in need of improvement to better inform customers about the services and the condition of the ferry. The Wi-Fi code didn't work, which was a frustrating experience. Likewise, the booked Express Boarding did not function as expected.
My opinion on the crossing: Overall, my experience on this ferry was disappointing. The staff's rudeness, the poor condition of the facilities, non-functional Wi-Fi, and the disappointing Express Boarding all marred the experience. The cabins were acceptable, and I appreciate the honesty of the staff when my wallet was found in one of the cabins. Boarding in Bastia went smoothly, and the staff there were more polite. Nevertheless, there is an urgent need for improvements on this ferry to justify the high prices. The information on the website should be updated to better inform future passengers and avoid disappointments.

They get you from A to B, with a big boat that you can put your car on. Expect no more and I wish you the best.
We had a 1-hour departure delay that turned into 2 (we were notified the morning of departure, that was ok), then ended up being 5 as we waited on the parking lot. And that was just the delay of departure. Upon arrival, there was another hour+ of delay for whatever reason. When the doors finally opened to get to the cars, the required vouchers for reimbursement magically went missing until there were just a handful of people left waiting. Great enthusiastic announcement over the PA system (also the first one on all this)! As we by then had a sleeping toddler and were in no rush (we stopped caring), we were among the last so we actually have the voucher. Don't expect any response when you try to get reimbursed, though. Their info on the website is total B#, there's no followup whatsoever (which is against the law, but hey..), they just don't respond and believe me, we've tried, in many different ways. A bad product is one thing, but a bad customer service is another.
No second chance from us, nor any of our friends. the worst travel experience of my life, by a lot.

2 types of boats. It gets the job done but 1 boat is pretty old and dirty, other one is bit more modern and cleaner. Ship is run by Italian people, and they run it like it's their own monarchy, with the passenger as lowest "rank". The boat had some delay and we had to get out of the cabins so they can start "cleaning" it. But the garage-deck wasn't open yet, so the hallway got more and more stacked and hotter and hotter and the crew was kinda shouting with the typical "italian" handsignals, not the best experience.

Mount Capanne is the tallest mountain on Elba Island, with a summit that can be reached by hiking or cable car. The hike up to the top is pleasant and not too difficult, taking around 1.5-2 hours for those familiar with Alpine mountain walking. The trail offers stunning views of the island's natural beauty throughout the journey as it is largely empty due to most people using the cable car.
Beautiful experience, an absolute must if you go to the island of Elba.

Very nice and fairly easy mountain walk up to Monte Capanne. Start at the cable car on route 1. If you are used to Alpine mountain walking, the trip takes about 1.5-2 hours. You will see beautiful nature and great views throughout the walk. It is very empty as 99.9% of people take the cable car. The top of Monte Capanne is very busy and completely built up with telecom and TV antennas. Hence, enjoy your walk up.

CavallinoMatto is a forest amusement park that offers exciting rides and family-friendly attractions, as well as live shows, a pizzeria, and a bar. Children's access to the various rides is determined by their height - from 90 cm up to 130 cm. The park is well-maintained and safe, with plenty of shows for visitors to attend throughout the day. The entry fee is very reasonable.
This amusement park is an oasis of fun and excitement. Outstanding roller coasters, with the standout being "Freestyle". On a week day in July, there was remarkably low crowd levels, and almost no waiting. It's an especially great destination for big kids and can ride every attraction. Pre-ordered tickets are a bit cheaper.

Really nice, not too big amusement park. Of course they don't have the big budget to theme everything, but they have a lot of attractions for ages 3 and up and it is very clean. The parking is for free, which is great and except for the really good themed Dinosaur water ride there were very little waiting times. We had a great day and highly recommend this for families.

Lovely theme park in Italy. So many different rides from age 5 to big kid like me (I'm 42 btw). Has a variety of different places to eat and grab an ice cream and an excellent picnic area, which is useful. Wasn't too crowded, which was a surprise being August but not an unwelcome one as it meant we didn't have to wait long to get on any of the rides. Would love to go again next time I am in Italy

You pay a small one time entry (26€ if you pay in advance) and then can access all attractions as often as you want without paying extra and without waiting in lines.
Almost NO WAITING AT ALL, only at the jurassic river we had to wait around 30min.
All the attractions are really fun for both kids and adults. Throughout the day you have some shows you can attend to and also a 4D cinema playing a short movie.
You can easily spend the whole day here!

THE WORST PIZZA SLICE OF MY LIFE
Sunday April 7. It is a nice park, small but well-kept if it weren't for the restaurant part, and the squat toilets are still in 2024. For 89 euros, a family of 3 deserves more than a frozen, industrial, slice of pizza ( 1 menu soft drink + pizza euro 7,50, for 3 people another 24 eur0) Certainly the worst of my life. Not even abroad have I eaten pizzas of such a low standard. And given that the centre has been open for decades, perhaps I wonder how much customer care there is if the toilets are still squat toilets with obvious inconveniences, especially if you have children. But we are in Italy, a seaside place, so shut up and pay.

We've spent the whole day in the park. Access to the attractions for the kids is determined via body height. Some are from 90 cm, 100, 110 and 130 cm. Lots of fun, for adults as well. The park seems to be well maintained and save. Many shows to attend. Entry fee is very reasonable.

A fantastic theme park. Suitable for all ages. Reasonably priced food and drinks. My 12 year old granddaughter had a great day. You do need the full day to see it all. The shows are all in the afternoon.

Bolgheri is a charming village located in the province of Livorno, Tuscany. It's known for its relatively new but thriving wine scene, with vineyards benefiting from the coastal proximity and dry climate. Since the 1970s, local wine producers have been experimenting with non-traditional grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah.

Visitors to the Terrazza Mascagni in Livorno can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and cityscape from its elevated terrace. The deck is named for Pietro Mascagni, a composer who was born in Livorno.
Beautiful! The chequered tiles give it a beautiful look and you see amazing surroundings nearby.
One can also go close to the sea and find many beautiful corals, sea grass, tiny colorful fishes and crabs. I attached photos.

Go just for a walk down and to enjoy the views(panoramic view). But far out of the town for anything else. Nothing really near by. Go but don't make it a must do list.

Love this place and the aquarium right next to it, was such fun! Wonderful view, very relaxing… best terrace ever!!👏🏼👏🏼

Beautiful seaside terrace. The tile work is very impressive. Sunsets here are one of a kind.

It's OK for a walk down and to enjoy the views. Bit far out fo the town for anything else. Nothing really near by. Go but don't make it a must do list. Some public toilets near by you'd be helpfull

Very clean and bright looking promenade close to Livorno Harbour.

A lovely open air space sandwiched by the sea and the city. The warmly-coloured chequered marble floor, the tall palm trees and the grand bandstand in the centre made it an ideal place for sitting, strolling, jogging, running and cycling.
Feel a bit like the LA's Santa Monica sidewalk but without the sandy beach!!

While visiting Pisa we took the train to Livorno for the afternoon. A bus from the station brought us to the Terrazza Mascagni. It is a lovely walk along chequered tiles surrounded by a waist high wall, which gave beautiful views over the Ligurian sea. There are benches where you can sit and rest / enjoy the views. While there was a cafe nearby the restaurants were all closed by 2.30 / 3pm so make sure you eat before you visit. I would also recommend when buying bus tickets that you buy return tickets as well as it is difficult to find anywhere that sells them.

This area (contrary to other reviews) is NOT well maintained at all.
Haven’t been here for a few years, but it looks like material choice was wrong for the balustrades… appears that saltwater has soaked into the concrete and corroded the reinforcing bars - shattering many of the top stones.
Now looks a real mess… 🤦♂️
Give this a miss - just not worth the walk from town, unless using one of the private beach front facilities nearby.

The views of the city from here are amazing. Plus it's a Great place to park and walk into the city from, which we did. Parking fees were reasonable. They also have a bus stop there as well. It can get very busy so be aware of that. We came just after a rain storm and found parking easily, but when we returned after our visit it was very crowded. Wonderful place either way!

Beautiful view and smell of Mediterranean Sea. It was a nice walk and paid park lot was right next to the aquarium.
The Livorno aquarium is a popular attraction for travellers with kids. With more than 1500 animals of over 300 species, it offers a great view of marine life from all around the world. The aquarium is located in the city's seafront, and also includes an interesting touch pool and tunnels where visitors can get up close with some of Livorno's top wildlife.
what a lively place to visit! we went there on a date and it was so beautiful! not at the scale of other aquariums but with a student card we payed 6 € each which was very affordable! a mist visit if u have an afternoon off in Livorno or if u want to spend some lovely time during your weekend!

Nice aquarium. The first floor has several sea animals and is done in about 30-45 min. Second floor has insects and reptiles and is done in about 20 minutes. Interesting animals and the price of 12 euros is okay. Presentation sometimes was lacking and the provided information or text were sometimes for other animals.

Great place with several different species from the world. It is not that big, but it is for sure a good family experience 😊.
The second floor has some terrestrial species like an interesting ant environment and transparent tubes for seeing them carrying the food.
Diego Luiz Nunes Ventrella — Google review
Not big but beautiful and if compared to the price of the ticket 15€/person, and I think it's a bit pricey.

Nice place where to hide with small kids in a hot day for a few hours. Suggesting to increase the free entry for kids to 120 cm (not up to 1 meter only) as I had to lift even the taller one to many of the aquariums anyway. Some banners are also in English, but not all unfortunatelly. Anyway we've enjoyed it much.

The turtles are wonderful.
Otherwise smallish and quite pricey for the size. There are no family tickets and reduced prices are only valid for small children (literally <140cm). Get your tickets in advance (online) to save if you're a larger group.

Nice place, small. Nice to see is the ants in the amphitheater.

Nice place to spend am hour with your children. Interesting species, but not very big. One hour was more than enough. No penguins but they had giant turtles, which where a hit for us :)

Nice Aquarium to visit during a raining or even a hot day. It is not that large, you will spend 1 to 1.5 hours inside.
Visited on a weekday during high season. No waiting queue and parked at the front door (about 3eur for 2 hours).
Bought the entrance tickets online at the aquarium itself (requires creditcard) and the sooner you do'll this, the more discount you get.
Facilities are okay, but there is option to buy some food.

The place is beautiful, the aquariums are well maintained, but there are too few things to admire. In an hour and a half, the visit to the aquarium was almost over, maybe even faster than that. Anyway, I visited this place on a very rainy day, so no regrets.
Cristian “Mumu” Matei — Google review
The aquarium isn't very big, but it's very interesting. My kid loved it as the turtles were bigger than him and there are some very interesting fish and sharks.

Here from the US for our honeymoon and the weather was windy and rainy today. This was a perfect place to go. Good size, good price & clean. We truly enjoyed it.

It is a great place to show sea life to your children. It is a bit time fatigued, but it is Italy, so sun made it like that. It has a nice observation deck though, where one can see really far away, incl. many ships approaching port. Next to it there is a water park, so the whole day can be easily spent there. An in the same building there is a very good restaurant as well, does not belong to aquarium though.
