We loved this theme park
Fun music and themed lands
We went just before Halloween - so many great photo opportunities across the different lands
Great rides and shows too!
We stayed in the PortAventura Hotel. The pool was mostly always empty. Wear good footwear as there's a lot of walking. Buffet options were great as well, lots of variety to choose from

Absolutely brilliant place. Fab rides. Prepare to get soaked on 3 rides. Great for adults and kids. Little short on disabled signage but we managed to figure it out.
From our hotel we can go in and out at our leisure. The parade is great followed by fireworks. Get a place early as it gets super busy spectator wise.
Absolutely love it here.

a very cool amusement park, but it is advisable to visit with a company that can go to the same attractions (difficult if a family with children of different calibers). you can do everything in one day if you take an express pass (queues are quite long). well, their safety is above all else.

We have visited here now six times and each time we have a great time. The prices are very reasonable and there is a multitude of attractions for everyone in your group. I am a fan of rollercoasters and they have some really cool ones here, each with their own little thing which sets them apart from the others. For the first time we went to the live shows and I was well impressed with these as well. We will definitely be back again as in my opinion it's on the same level as Disney Paris, but with more reasonable prices.

We booked 4 nights in the Gold River Hotel. We also booked half-board. Breakfast and dinner. We booked breakfast for 0800 every morning and even though at first it was every man for themselves there was always plenty of food and the kids loved it. Tummies were always full. The variety was good too. As was the same for dinner time. Would give the Grand dining room 10/10 as the staff were super helpful. The room itself was clean and a good size with a kitchenette which provided a fridge and a microwave. Portaventura itself was AMAZING. Would actually put my neck on the line and say it was better than Disneyland Paris for the thrill of the rides there. My only negative would be to beware of the costs for the food kiosks. SUPER EXPENSIVE. I ordered a coffee and in two sips it was gone 🤦🏻♀️. Waiting times for most attractions was 10 to 20 minutes however later on in the Easter week the bigger rides went up to 1hr 30mins.
Samantha Walmsley — Google review
It was great! Especially for families. The rides ranges from ones suitable for toddlers to extremely exhilarating ones for brave hearts. It was honestly the best time I have had in a while.
Christabel Oti — Google review
Great fun, amazing rides, definitely worth to pay €40 on the express way. We had the most fun of the trip in the park, you definitely need more than one day to enjoy all the options. Buy the tickets in the Website they're cheaper. We pay €53 only for the PortAventura park, but the best ride F1 Ferrari and the Aqua park is a separate. The queues are over 1 hour, the express way its worth because you literally skip everyone and you can go in all the options if you have only one day. It has lota of food options and the park inside its very well done. 😊 love it. I would definitely go back.
Melany A. — Google review
If you want to take a coaster ride that's the place you should visit. There are many many many coasters for kids higher 1.4 m. Do not waste your time in queues if you are here for just a couple days in a high season, the number of people in the park is really high. Consider of getting an express pass, otherwise each ride will take you not less than half an hour and even more under the scorching sun. When you are riding Shambala just raise your hands up and try to fly almost the entire ride. The landscape design for the park zones is really enjoyable. When you are entering Polynesia or China zones, believe me you will surely notice it.

Visited Ferrari Land on a Thursday evening. Some really fun rides! Went on the Red Force rollercoaster, it was well worth the 40 minute wait for the 30 second ride! 🤣 Great fun, extremely fast and high!
There was some great entertainment on the stage the evening we visited also... very talented people!
Not overly priced, good value for money!

Worst theme park and hotels in the world. HONEST
This place is awful. Staff are ignorant and very rude. They can’t even get basic food and water correct.
We stayed in park hotel and they never cleaned room.
They made us pay adult price for our daughter 13 but then said she needed to be accompanied by an adult on the rides.!!!!!!
They completely oversell the place. The queues are advertised as 2 hours but more 3/4 hours. The water park being the worst.
The express passes queues are longer than the normal queues
It’s over priced and dirty.
Food is disgusting with the iron horse restaurant being the worst.
Worse hotel and theme park in the world

Nice roller coasters but very long lines. Express pass ultra recommended if you wanna ride more than a couple attractions.
Wanted to visit the new Uncharted ride and couldn’t because it closed 90 minutes before the actual park closing time.
Yenny Villalba — Google review
Good park with excellent theming and a few great coasters. It could use more 'medium' rides because it feels like there isn't much to do between the bug rides. The few that they do have are pretty underwhelming. Avoid staying in the resort hotels though, they claim 4 stars but are actually 2.5 stars at best.
Michael Aaron — Google review
If you like amusement parks, GO THERE 😆😆, there's so much to do. If you plan well your day, you could be able to ride a lot of attractions and roller-coasters. I recommend to bring water and some food, since everything is very expensive. Unless you are going to the water park, don't wear sandals or anything that could easily get off your feet.

I stayed 2 nights in Gold River hotel located inside the Park.
Hotel is just amazing. Seems you are in the far west centuries ago. Everything is perfectly designed and comfortable.
Apart from that, we had half board which was amazing buffet plenty of different kinds of food and tasty.
Besides that, for the 2 nights we had included access to the park 3 different days (check in day and check out day), plus 1 entrance to Ferrari land, all for 627€ for 3 people. Great price and amazing experience
Jordi Cat — Google review
Very busy due to school trips. 3 hour queues for the big rides. Some truly amazing coasters here, as well as a large selection of family rides. Purchased a fast pass and never queued more than 20 minutes. Recommend visiting from 2pm when queues shorten and you will be there for fireworks in the evening. Visited June 23.
John Dyer — Google review
Had a great day today. Albeit very hot. The park was crowded but not too stressful. Definitely buy Express pass. It’s not worth trying to beat the queues some of them were up to 3 hours wait. With pass 10-15 minutes
Debbie Fagan — Google review
Amazing theme park! Great shows, attractions and food! Staff can sometimes let it down, unfortunately!
We went for 3 days (myself and fiancée) and had plenty to do and see! The app is also great for planning ahead with shows!
Elliott Duggan-Edwards — Google review
Myself, partner and our four children (6-8) came here on a rainy day in August! The water was cold and there was no sun to warm us up, so we spent most of the day very cold! But going on a rainy day meant there were no queues for the slides. We went on the slides many times and did all enjoy ourselves, minus being cold. There is a lot of walking about to do outdoors, so if I returned I'd bring beach shoes. The lockers are expensive but keep your items safe. We left our towels and drink bottles out of the lockers and took them around with us and left them on a lounger near the slides we would go on. Annoying you can't take your phone on any slides but I hid mine in my towel pile and it stayed safe! The food was pricey, but we had some chips to share and they were very tasty! But small portion for the price. There were plenty of toilets about, which was handy for the children.
Overall, it was a good day apart from the cold weather. But I guess if it was hot and sunny, we would have had less rides on the slides and had to wait about in queues for long time.
Natalie Arnold — Google review
Really enjoyed visiting this park, we went early and stayed the whole day before going into Ferrari Land later on. Kids enjoyed the end of day parade and we would definitely return if we were in the area again. Food reasonably price and tasted good and toilets were scattered throughout the park at regular intervals.
Alana Williams — Google review
At this time of year (November) the queues are very short to nonexistent. All but the water rides are open.
Landscaping is impeccable and the staff are very accommodating to non-Spanish speakers.
The food is pricey and the taste is not reflected in that price, if you have the ability to leave the park to get food, I would recommend doing so.
The park has a lot for children to do, don't let the large rollercoasters on the posters put you off, during peak they seem to have a lot of shows to enjoy to there are plenty of ways to mix down time into your trip.
For all of you traveling to this part of Spain, this time of year, it is jeans and T-shirt weather during the day and hoodie/jumper weather in the early morning and evening, night time you might want to wear a thin jacket.
Daniel Fletcher — Google review
Genuinely a fantastic experience, although I can’t imagine how insane the waiting times are during the peak seasons as I visited over a weekend in February perhaps a fast pass is a must buy during mid term breaks and over the summer. The best theme park in Europe with some incredible rides.
Daire G — Google review
Had a wonderful time in the park lots to do and see . only had time to do some of the rides. Definitely need a few days here to get around it all . Lots of walking. felt very safe and friendly. Went back one evening to ferrari land and that was good . We had late evening meal at the sports dinner next to the entrance and the food was very good. And we walked back into town after it took about 15 minutes.
tony holts — Google review
Beautiful park, well themed, great rides and services. Some problems with direction as areas are not easy to find. Overall operations of rides could be better, avg wait time for half full queues seemed to be longer than expected.
You will need at least 2 days in the park for a full experience so make sure to take advantage of any multi day passes that may be available to you.
Karl Deakin — Google review
Incredible park with amazing thrill rides.
Food prices in the park are fantastic! I'm used to the extortionate prices in UK parks and Florida parks, so this was so refreshing to see! Only improve would be refillable cups that can be self filled at stations.
Very clean and helpful staff. Loved our time here and would definitely return.
Alison — Google review
Good theme park, and quite large. Was very quiet when went October during week, so all rides went on had less than 5 min wait. Some of the bigger rides are not ‘fluffy’ or tall person friendly. I am 5 ft 7 and the leg room on Stampida was tiny. Did not even attempt Shambhala due to previous reviews advising if over a size 16, you wont fit. Also found that quite a few of the rides were closed (china area especially) which was quite disappointing. Sesame Street land is really good for little and big kids! Water rides were great, we did get soaked, but dried off quite quickly in the Sun. Park was also decorated for Halloween which was really nice.
The Abbey of Montserrat is a historic monastery located in the Catalan province of Montserrat. It is one of Catalonia's most renowned tourist attractions and functions as a monastery for over 70 monks. The abbey is set against the backdrop of the majestic mountains of Montserrat and its interior is stunning, with ornate architecture dating back to the 15th century.
I booked a tour here from Barcelona. Didn't expect much but got an amazing experience. Great view from the top. Super quiet place. The day we were there was a bit busy because someone passed away. The view was amazing. From the abbey, there's a 20+ min walk to the cross where the view was superb. There were also free wine and cheese tasting at the market. Got a wonderful experience, meet great fellow traveller's here.

Lovely place to visit. Very busy at the time, transport in was easy and an experience. Taking the funicular to the top was an experience and we would recommend going to the top of the second funicular. Amazing views and a nice walk back down. We went on the weekend and watching the local people make human stacks was really good to watch. Again, go early as it was getting very busy around Sunday mass time.

This is a very special place. Take your time. Go early, get your tickets to tour the church asap. Go to the top top top on the tram and spend at least an extra hour up there. You can spend hours hicking! This is a full day trip. Go to the bar at the train station while you wait. Great people!

I'd definitely suggest you to visit the monastery. Parking was €7 and it was easy to find and the entrance to the cathedral was €6 for adults and €5 for 7-16yo. Preferably buy tickets in advance.
Take at least half day if not a full day trip here, sit on the bench and just enjoy the wiev and scenery.

We took the Montserrat Monastery & Hiking Experience. It was fantastic. Our guide Roger was the best. He did such a good job of explaining the history, the geology, and the nature. He even spotted a wild goat for us. Hiking was almost all steep downhill, so make sure you are in shape for that. Beautiful vista's. Bus was very comfortable and driver was very skilled. Great value.

For Catalans and in general for all Spaniards, Montserrat is one of the most sacred places, both the mountain and the Benedictine monastery itself. Apart from having interesting architecture and history, it offers a simply wonderful panoramic view of Barcelona and the surrounding area. And if you go up with the small rail lift, you will be able to enjoy a view from above and the monastery itself.
Simeon Runyov — Google review
Plan for an early morning arrival to beat the crowds and enjoy everything Montserrat has to offer. The line to the Black Virgin is long, however the rooms and staircase you wait in are visual delights along the wait. Plan to spend 6-8 hours here and pack a picnic. The views are splendid and the gardens and paths are perfect places to eat and enjoy the views. Plan your return trip accordingly if you use the tram/train or you will get stranded.
Emily Fitzsimons — Google review
What a beautiful location. It takes quite a bit of effort to figure out what the best way is to arrive, and it also isn't cheap. The chapel and the Black Madonna are interesting but by themselves wouldn't be worth the effort. If you also visit the museum and do some of the hiking, then it is worth visiting! This excursion took us most of the day.
Cher Oliver — Google review
This was spectacular and well worth the trip. The energy in this place is palpable, the design and architecture is really beautiful and the way it is nestled in the unique mountain is amazing. So much to do on the site that 2 hours did not suffice. I will be back.
Eva Villalba — Google review
I was expecting to enjoy this excursion the least, but it was definitely a highlight of my trip. We were able to watch the boys choir perform and their voices were incredible. The interior of the church is beautiful. My favorite part was taking a tram into the mountains and taking in the views. Some of my best pictures were taken on that mountain. 10/10 would recommend you visit the Abbey.
W. M. — Google review
The view and backdrop are epic!
We did not pay to enter the cathedral. The free access was enough for the family.
The ride up is absolutely beautiful. Totally worth the visit.
mati shoshani — Google review
This is a multiple visit place,. First to see it, then to hear the choir. Then to visit and pray to the Black Madonna. Then to train the mountains where the Romans once worshipped Venus. Then to sit on rock platforms in the area that cleanse your negativity. Then to visit the tunnel where the Black Madonna was found. Then to try the cheeses and honey. It's a pilgrimage for sure, one of the best of its kind!

Stunning view from height. Beautiful skyline when looking at finger like summits. Magnificent. Highly recommend! Parking at €7 for whole day. Paid €6 per adult to see the ground floor of Basillica. If pay €18 can visit 5 places

The monastery is located in a very cool place. Parking costs €7. We didn't buy a ticket to enter the monastery, so we enjoyed the surroundings of the monastery. There are several viewing platforms and a large courtyard in front of the monastery, which is free to enter. If you are already going there, I recommend hiking in the mountains, the trails start at the monastery.
Teele Hein — Google review
Truly spectacular. Speechless from the moment we walked in. There are many areas to check and take pictures. It’s a place of worship and you’ll need to be respectful and quiet. Book tickets in advance online and take them with you in your phone as they are timed entries. There are 3
Areas for the abbey, the main abbey, the side of the abbey when you can make an offering and the museum. All worth it.

The Montserrat Monastery is an awe-inspiring architectural wonder nestled amid beautiful mountains. The primary basilica houses the revered Virgin of Montserrat and provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The monastery is home to a 12th-century Black Madonna statue known as 'The Dark One' or 'Our Lady of Montserrat.' It's a famous local icon and a symbol of Catalan identity. During our visit, our tour guide informed us of Montserrat's world-renowned boys' choir and explained their training process in detail. We hope to witness their performance in the future. We decided to skip the museum since we had already visited all the famous museums in Barcelona before arriving here.

Very beautiful cathedral. Lots to see and very mosaic. Beautiful choir was playing that has a long history of beautiful music. You can spend hours here just taking everything in.
KC Mitch — Google review
Visited on a foggy day and it was beautiful, not too hot. The views are gorgeous, both architecturally and scenery wise. The buildings are so beautiful, and we luckily went on a day where it wasn’t too busy. The bus ride up the mountain to get here was a bit windy, so be cautioned if you get carsick easily. Other than that, it is a beautiful sight to visit, would recommend

A long day to and from Barcelona. The Black Madonna is beautiful. The scenery to and from Barcelona to go there are awesome. It takes a couple of hours to arrive, visit takes several hours then ride back another couple hours. We were exhausted. We were exhausted once we got back, but it was worth the trip.
Dixie Williams — Google review
I had lovely weather on the day to the Montserrat and enjoyed the magnificent view from the mountain. There wasn't much crowd as the tour started early and it was great for photos and appreciation of the monastery. It was good advice to queue to see the Black Madonna first as the queue is usually long. It was terrific and I'm glad to see the Black Madonna at close proximity.

You'll want to spend more time than you have. We spent three hours here and were barely able to take in the highlights. The Abbey, of course, is stunning inside. And the views from the mountain are picture perfect. We did a short hike but definitely wished we could have spent more time and hiked farther and explored some of the other buildings here.

One of our favorite stops during our visit to Barcelona. Highly recommend the Tot Montserrat ticket: it includes absolutely everything you need-train, funicular, cable car, museum, basilica, and return. The buffet lunch is amazing with items for every taste. We hiked to the top of the mountain and saw the small chapel and caves. The view is spectacular. The cable car going down from the monastery offered beautiful views too. Don’t forget to stop at the little bar by the train station for a drink and ice cream. Such a relaxing spot nestled in an olive grove. The proprietor will not let you miss your train, though I could have stayed to enjoy the view for hours! Highly recommend this incredible day trip from Barcelona.

I decided to leave a review here because I want to give others more specific information ;) the place is definitely worth a visit. religious, natural, climbing a mountain - an incredible feeling and its own atmosphere. definitely recommend. from Barcelona, you can first take the metro to Plaza España, where you can take the P5 train. then there are different options - going up the mountain by cable car or funicular. it is better to go by funicular (more seats, more comfortable and convenient). you should not confuse the station yet, because you need to get to the station earlier to take the cable car. I recommend buying a ticket for 45 euros at the station before the train. there is a return train, funiculars. you can still go even higher up (this is another funicular and it is included in the price). this ticket is called Trans Montserrat. also included is the entrance to the Basilica and the Black Madonna. you have to pay separately for the museum. 20-30 minutes will be enough there, there are paintings by famous artists. there is also a cafe with a buffet (like 2 of them), affordable and fast. if you climb even higher, mountain lovers can climb even more on their own. that's why such reviews are highly recommended, you also need to pay attention to the departure time because funiculars and trains run once an hour.
Анна Ходзінська — Google review
Get there early. You can park along side the road and at the top is additional parking if you go early. Parking is 7 euros. Make sure you go straight to the guest information center. You'll be able to purchase all tickets here except the incline, which has its own ticket sales area.

Highly recommend to visit museum, very nice art works in a small place concentrated.

Amazing. This is a bustling centre of commerce and faith in what should be a somewhat inaccessible location - a mountaintop. It has lovely art, clean and spectacular vistas, and clearly has been a planned investment by the residents. Well worth the visit.

San Maria de Montserrat is a true marvel of architecture nestled in a breathtaking location, making it a magnet for visitors seeking awe-inspiring beauty and spiritual fulfillment. While the crowds may be abundant, they only serve to underscore the profound impact this sacred site has on all who visit. Absolutely stunning ! Beautiful monastery and Basilica almost 1000 years old. Home to Black Madonna or Black Mother, a representation of Virgin Mary. The top of the mountain is accessible via a funicular that has a max gradient of 65 degrees.
Puneet Gulati — Google review
Monserrat It's very beautiful, it's interesting the rock formation And to think that the sea used to be up there.
A recommendation is if you want to go up to San Juan or something like that, don't go up on the train (unless you are sick) what I recommend is to go around the mountain and go up to the viewpoint and then get off on the train or on foot which is the same and better. The view is amazing and of course you also get some exercise.
Angie Vanessa Villamil Ospina — Google review
This place is simply magical and mesmerizing! At SKY level altitude between unique rocks set, this is definitely a place to go.
The location is about 90 min from Barcelona, but the train system will take you there with only one switch to the monorail that takes you to the mountains.
Inside, there is a place to chill, to eat, to pray, and to hike. If you go with a tour, you might not have time for the hikes, but everything else will be ar reach.
There is also (at a separate cost) a small little train that takes you from the monastery to the top of the mountain.
Luis Ortega — Google review
A little to commercial for my taste. We caught the ques just right, so the lines were not that long. We didn't purchase a guided tour which would help if one doesn't know the history. We purchased tickets through turism barcelona and would need to add tour guide if desired. Hiked around the top and the views are amazing.

As a travel enthusiast, I recently embarked on a day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona, and the experience left me in awe. Nestled amidst the stunning mountains of Catalonia, Montserrat is a treasure trove of natural beauty, rich history, and spiritual significance.
The journey from Barcelona to Montserrat was seamless, with convenient transportation options available. Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the majestic rock formations that define the landscape. The rugged peaks, shaped by centuries of wind and weather, create a dramatic backdrop for the monastery perched atop the mountain.
The highlight of my visit was exploring the Montserrat Monastery, a place of pilgrimage and cultural significance. The monastery houses the revered statue of the Black Madonna, attracting pilgrims from around the world. The interior of the monastery is equally impressive, with ornate chapels, beautiful artwork, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
After visiting the monastery, I embarked on a hike along one of the many trails that crisscross the mountain. The scenic pathways offer breathtaking views of the Catalan countryside and provide a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
In addition to its natural beauty and religious significance, Montserrat is also home to the Montserrat Boys' Choir, renowned for its angelic voices. Catching a performance by the choir is a must-do experience, adding an extra layer of cultural immersion to your visit.
Overall, my day trip to Montserrat was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a nature lover, history buff, or spiritual seeker, Montserrat offers something for everyone. I highly recommend adding this enchanting destination to your itinerary when visiting Barcelona.
Camp Nou is the renowned football stadium in Barcelona, hosting regular matches and offering stadium tours and a museum. It is the home ground of FC Barcelona, a highly prestigious football club with over 100,000 members. Situated in the eastern part of the city, around 5 kilometers from the city center, it can be easily accessed by metro. Following the Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou holds significant importance as one of Barcelona's major landmarks.
Really exciting place to be in if you love football. The stadium is deeply connected with the history of this sport. The museum inside tells the story of the club in good detail. I would advise to not rush through, and make sure to have at least 2h of time to visit. It was especially enjoyable stepping on the field around the bench area along the sideline, perfect spot for taking pictures. Walking on the playing pitch is not allowed.

Absolutely loved it! What an experience for me and my wife! We had a blast. Lots of bathroom at almost every entrance to the seats. The views were great from the second balcony in the corner. Definitely a MUST visit for the museum but if you can also catch a game you have to go!!

Very exciting place to visit. It was great. Just make sure that there is no a game the next day, as you won't be able to experience the full tour and visit most of the places as they are closed. And also everything is super expensive: gift shop and all coffee shops around.

We bought the tour around the stadium and at night we went on game. There are a lot of things to see in the stadium like golden shoes of the players, their trophies and clothes. There aren’t any interactive places so I would not recommend this for younger children. The game night was something totally different because of the atmosphere. There is a big parking space and everything is good explained and marked so you will not have a problem with orientation.
Nastja Prodanic — Google review
We signed up for the tour when you walk in, which is €6 and they hand you a mobile device where you input certain numbers (located on the walls etc) and a video appears talking you through said section. It was incredibly difficult to find the numbers and it was too busy to listen to the device unless you purchased a headset also. So we gave up on this, wasted €6.
I also wasted €6 paying for 3 shots against the robot keeper. The machine was not open and being worked on by maintenance men. I wasn’t told this on purchase or on arrival so I left with no experience and €6 down.
The displays themselves were incredible. Just the vast amount of trophies and memorabilia on display is overwhelming. Especially if you’ve followed the team over the last few decades. You start linking each trophy to certain games in your memory.
The best bit of the tour for me was being able to sit in the stands and take it the size of the place. Also watching 200 people sit and take selfies and profile pictures on the balcony 😂
Another down side is that when it comes to having to go downstairs it is some walk to the next section which is an elevator lift away. Nothing it signed so you just kind of wonder around.
We thought we had finished after the trophies and the stands but after roaming around we found the away changing room, the conference box, the pitch side and commentary gantry. Would have been nice to see the home locker room but I can understand if they charge more for this.
Overall I would recommend visiting and doing the tour as it is a part of history.

The best club museum, all trophies, champions league and laliga titles in one place. And the best 360° Camp Nou room that feels like you're in stadium and Barça wins a trophie. But if you don't want to return after being there go in 2024, because the stadium is in reconstruction and its closed, but the museum, store and cafe are working.

We had an amazing experience here. I particularly enjoyed the Barca immersive tour. Lovely. The guides are great. Camp Nou stadium is still under construction so we never felt it. Overall great experience.

Absolute fantastic tour, take the player experience, absolutely worth it, we got lucky with a super awesome tour guide who was speaking Spanish, Catalan, Italian, French, English, and even a bit of Arabic, he made the tour so much fun.
Part of the player experience is visiting the changing room, but they do undersell it a lot. It isn't just about the changing room, it is about understanding the journey of the players, how they prepare days before the game in the technical room, how they have their meetings, their super tremendous pressure they have to play well. It is definitely an interesting perspective that none of the people on the tour had before.
The visit includes the tour, the store (Which is actually a mega store), and the activities outside, so we spent around 3 hours on premise. Highly recommended

A really exciting place to be in if you love football. The stadium is deeply connected with the history of this sport. The museum inside tells the story of the club. It was especially enjoyable stepping on the field around the bench area along the sideline, the perfect spot for taking pictures. VIP player tour which means you can go to visit locker room ( not allowed to take pictures because of privacy) and sit in where VIP seat view of the club, sadly see to classic build to change new stadium in 2 years' 🤔

One of the best stadiums and most iconic stadiums in the world.I was here 2 months ago right before them knocking it down so glad i could experience it. It was always my dream to see lewandowski play and i did just there, the best place to do so. I watched Barca face Mallorca and it was great, the atmosphere and the fans are also great. The stadium was almost full and then there was Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquests presentation as they were leaving after a long time.Overall, great and iconic stadium, could not give it less than 5 stars and will forever be remembered.

As a football fan, this should be on the bucket list, but wait,.......
It is a building site, no stadium tour, no walk around. You can only visit a makeshift temporary museum, and the Barca shop. There is not much else to see. It is expected to be complete 2024, 2025 season. Just wait till it's complete. It's a shame that this historic, beautiful stadium is now gone.

I'm not much of a football fan, but my visit to Camp Nou was truly captivating. Even though the sport isn't my passion, I found it to be one of the best attractions in Barcelona. As I explored the stadium, I couldn't help but wonder about the incredible vibes and atmosphere during match days, especially during big matches. The energy and excitement must be truly electric. I can't quite imagine it, but I do hope to experience it for myself someday. The stadium's grandeur and history make it a must-visit, even for those who aren't die-hard football enthusiasts like myself.

We were in. Barcelona for a short city break and were going take the cable car up to the Olympic park but it was not running so decided to go to the Nou Camp. Whoops did not realise it was being knocked down and rebuilt. However the currently have a virtual tour and trophy room and although over 30 euros we actually really enjoyed learning and reading all about the clubs history. All in all enjoyed the visit and will need to return in 3 years when the stadium has been built.

I went to the stadium in December and i got to say its an amazing place to go to. Sad part was that the stadium was under counstruction, so i couldnt see the complete stadium. But in December, not many people come here so it wasnt too crowded. If your planning to come to Camp Nou sometime soon, i recommend going in Winter.

Whether a football fan or not, this is an experience. I’m not a football fan, but wanted to see the grounds progress and also was keen to have a shirt printed. (10 years after my previous one). The store is alive, buzzing and great to experience. As you would expect merchandise is not cheap, but worth it. The experience of having your name printed is amazing. I loved it! It’s not too far out the city, easy to get to and you can’t really miss it. Currently under construction 🏗️ but I’m sure will look phenomenal when finished. Definitely worth it if you’re in the city!!!🌆 💫

Designed by architect Antoni Gaudi, Casa Batllo is a renowned historical landmark and museum situated on Barcelona's vibrant Passeig de Gracia boulevard. This exquisite Modernista masterpiece, transformed from an apartment block to a museum, mesmerizes visitors with its enchanting dragon-roofed structure.
Absolutely stunning architecture, full of amazing shapes, curves and colors. Walking inside the building feels like wandering in a romantic aquarium. The video guide is also very helpful and fun to play with. Try to get your ticket in advance, so you don’t need to pay extra for the gold ticket.

Very educational and inspirational experience. The audio guide made the experience even more fun. There several types of entrance tickets, but do not think the ticket with the AR tablet is necessary unless you are going with young children. Make sure to bring your own earphones!

Strange building, one of the strongest attractions in the city, if you have come all this way, it's a good idea to ride the metro for a look.
Organic inspired structure that flows and ebbs.
A visual feast for the eyes, you can stand a while and take it in, if your up for it, purchase a ticket and take a look inside.
Steven stennett — Google review
A unique architectural experience. If you can afford it it's worth upgrading your ticket to get the augmented reality tablet and the cube experience. They do have a lift if needed but it's very small and does interfere with the audio tours flow around the house. Also, if you want to avoid the queue to enter pre book the ticket.

This place is incredible, I cannot imagine someone designing and created it since the 1900s, must be a forward thinker! I was amazed by its beauty, and all every single details of the house. I got a Silver ticket, which allowed you ti skip lines and has access to some areas that the Blue ticket does not. This place was recognized as World Heritage Site, although the money we paid was pretty high, 36€, they say it is dedicated to renovation plan of the house, so I guess it was worth it. Highly recommend buying a book about Gaudi in the end of the tour!

Another amazing Gaudi’s creation - this Casa is like a miracle in the heart of the city! The details, the materials, the ideas- incredible. And when you get to the top you see the chimneys that look beautiful. The central one looks like a dragon with its multicoloured scales. And there is a bar on the top so you can sit, rest and admire all this beauty. There is an option that you can take a photo on one of the balconies and it is a great opportunity to create more unforgettable memories.

This was a highlight of our trip in Barcelona! Beautiful, bold, and innovative. I recommend including the video/audio to your tour. Fun visuals of both fantasy and how the rooms may have been furnished when the family lived there. Increased our appreciation of the spirit and history of the place. We went early in the morning as it was less crowded and the morning sunlight shines on the front of the house which highlights it stunning colors. So glad the place is preserved and available to the public. Allow 2-3 hours to enjoy the house. Get tickets in advance as they sell out.

We went in the morning, and it was beautiful! The cheapest level (blue?) is all you need to enjoy the tour. The audio guide was great. The house is amazing! Worth visiting.

If you like architecture you'll love this building, if you don't like architecture you'll love this building. It is very expensive to get into, I did a group tour of a few of Gaudi buildings which worked out cheaper but you don't get to spend as long as you want on some of the buildings as there is A LOT to take in visually and informatively. The tour I did I thought was more informative as she mentioned some information that wasn't in handset of the self guided tour although she would've missed some things that would be in a self guided tour as well. Doing a tour you also skip the line which I did see was quite long as times.
Hope you enjoy the building as much as I did if you do see it

The house is stunning, the experience novel, the price steep. We bought the Gold tickets (kids free) and it was worth the little extra to skip the line. You don't want to be in a crowd of people if you can avoid it. The audio guides were informative and the augmented reality tablets kept the kids engaged. The architecture is second-to-none, especially the woodwork.

This is one of the best places to see in Barcelona. It was an amazing experience going inside with Gold level tickets that gives you full access to all rooms and a nice set of tablets with good headphones, plus you have a fast line pass.
They do not let you in earlier than your ticket time.
Roman Nagibin — Google review
A must visit, definitely worth the price. I wasn't sure what to expect but the audio tour and house in general is really awesome. I've never seen a house like it and it's very impressive.
The best part for me was the basement where they have a full room / screen experience to finish off the tour which is really good. Definitely a must visit for all Barcelona tourists.
Charles — Google review
Do recommend paying for the highest pass level you can afford (Blue < Silver < Gold), since the difference between Blue and Gold is only 29Euro vs 39Euro.
AND BUY TICKETS BEFOREHAND!
Check out the official site for the differences between pass levels (mainly AR tablet, Gaudi Dome, access to specific rooms, etc.)
Crowd management could've been done better, as all pass levels converge and you don't get special treatment once you're inside areas where everyone can access.
The team-lab-esque Gaudi dome experience was nice, although I can't say too relevant to the actual Casa. Worth the extra difference in pricing though
The casa is quite interesting, esp. considering it was an actual residence.

It's a very beautiful building, one of the most famous in Barcelona, with beautiful majolica on the walls designed by Gaudi. There is a terrace on the roof with a beautiful view of the neighborhood, you can take a "tourist" photo on the balcony and they will print it out and give you a digital version. It's such a stupid thing for tourists, but it costs 14€, I liked it. You should already have tickets, although if you come in the morning at 8-8.30 on weekdays, you won't have to stand in line for long. I also noticed a ticket office near the entrance to the building where you can buy 3 groups of tickets at once. And the "golden" group is very profitable! 6-7 houses for 60€. I liked it, I highly recommend it. One of my dreams))
P P — Google review
We purchased tickets online and were able to go right in. The gold package allowed us to see everything and included an informative interactive audio guide. It's beautiful inside and out. Just be patient as there were many visitors when we went and some areas in the home got congested. Highly recommend visiting.
Trudy Edwards — Google review
Great experience, however quite pricey! The audio tour was integrated seamlessly as you walk around the house and the house is truly beautiful and well preserved. For a one time experience I decided to pay the 35€, but maybe not worth it if you’re visiting Barcelona on a budget. There was no queue and no crowds when I visited on the 3rd of January, but I did get my ticket online.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
I was very disappointed with my visit to Casa Batlló. The place was overcrowded with people and I could barely see anything. The tickets were expensive and not worth it. The AC was not working properly and it was very hot and stuffy inside. The architecture was nothing special and I felt like I wasted my time and money. They sold ticket ten times more than building capacity , I do not recommend this place at all.

Great spot to visit and is worth at least upgrading to silver. The line is shorter, and the interacting tablet is very cool and has some funny interaction. Make sure you don't miss or skip the last video! Was really cool and a highlight.
Zoe Lisson — Google review
Purchased the gold ticket which allowed direct access at chosen time. The tablet and headset were helpful to navigate the house. The house itself is a work of art - so beautiful, intricate and artistic. Definitely worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the immersive experience in the 'cube' at the end of the tour.

I love this place. A lot of opportunities to take great pictures. It’s a good size so you could spend a lot of time here, just admiring the works of art. We did the silver pass, which featured almost everything the gold one does except for like one small area. It was very busy but not like shoulder to shoulder. Employees were nice and helpful. Plan to spend 3-5 hrs.

I visited Casa Batlló in 2021 and it still is undoubtedly one of the most stunning houses in the world. However, what Barcelona has achieved with this museum is truly remarkable. They have taken a regular museum visit and turned it into an unforgettable EXPERIENCE. The visuals, storytelling, and branding are all flawless. If you love museums and are creative, you cannot afford to miss this experience. I would visit it a thousand times and still be in awe of it, and fall in love deeply. I know it's pricey, but it's worth every single penny. Yes, buy the audio guide.

I’m impressed by all the work, art work, how creative and talented people can be. It’s definitely a must if you travel to Barcelona. I personally love the experience of seeing the Casa Batlló (and generally every work of art made by Gaudí). At least once in life you have to see it.😍
Lavie Anic — Google review
We were completely in awe of the architecture here. We were so grateful to have an audio tour we could follow at our own pace. If you don't want to hold the wand, you can plug in your own headphones. The building is beautiful and even though we took our time going through the building I'm sure we still missed stuff. I would recommend this stop when visiting Barcelona. There was even a balcony where you can get your picture taken and purchase it, and there were so many fun facts as you walked through each floor. Get tickets early to avoid large crowds and make sure to take pictures at night of the front of the building as the lighting changes colors and adds a spectacular new view of the Casa. Definitely buy your tickets ahead of time online to save time.
Even though they had a "cube" show at the end of the tour, please be aware of fast moving lights, and lots of moving video especially if you suffer from vertigo. It was a bit much for me because I get dizzy easily from this type of exhibit. But it's short and you aren't missing much if you skip this.

Architecture beyond compare! Indescribable, but I'll try.
Gaudí had amazing vision. He designed and had this home built to resemble nature and the sea. The attention to detail is exquisite. The wooden shell depicted on the stairway, the bubbles of glass everywhere catching the light, the blue hand-made tile surrounding the ventilation shafts that make you feel like you could be under water are all well thought out details that make Casa Batlló my favorite attraction this trip. Just beautiful and amazing too, the grandeur, without being pretentious.
Yes, it's busy with people but it's a self-guided tour so just being still for a bit allows you to see without too much interruption. If you go, I recommend you don't rush!

Park Güell, located in Barcelona's Gracia district, is a renowned attraction showcasing the artistic brilliance of Antoni Gaudi. This verdant park, with its mosaic-covered buildings, sculptures, and staircases, offers panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. Originally designed as an upscale residential complex by Eusebio Guell, it was transformed into a public park in 1926. The park combines natural beauty with Gaudi's distinctive style, fusing architecture seamlessly with nature.
This park has some great view of whole city and also all in sudden you feel like you are some different world surrounded by palm trees. I don't know how to describe the architecture of this place but it looks like to me like I am in Morocco. It's beautiful.
Sonika Prakash — Google review
The park sits on a hill top which provides a spectacular view over the city. The architecture, the design of the rocks , the benches decorated with colorful mosaic were beautiful and unique. The entrance fee is a reasonable €10.
But be aware it requires quite some walks. From the metro station it is about 15 minutes walks. There are lots of stairs to climb. Although there are escalators from the street to the park entrance, some sections do not work so you will have to take the stairs. After we reached to the top of the stairs, there is no clear sigh pointing to the park entrance. We ended up going to a wrong entrance which is for residents only. In the park some sections are not accessible so you will have to return back. The park could do a better job with signage.

This is a must in Barcelona! What an amazing park! The lovely views and incredible architecture make it a must-go-to place. Make sure to get tickets ahead of time and be there at the time marked on your tickets. This park has a limit on how many can be there at a time. You will not regret going!

The park is rich in trees and clean. No map is provided at the entrance. It was suggested to use the app. Routes are not all suitable to pass from if you have a stroller or wheelchair. There is a slope at the beginning and a good number of steps are to be taken to visit and access the whole park. In my opinion I think it should be free to go inside. There are no animals so far. I saw only pigeons and three small parrots flying around. The restaurant inside was fully packed and the service is slow and the servers needs attention. Food is not expensive however the portions are small. It would be wiser to take a packed lunch with you. Take a good walking shoes and non slippery.

An absolutely incredible park with some amazing structures and mosaics by Gaudi. We somehow went to an entrance which was at the back of the park up a massive hill, so I wouldn't recommend going to that entrance if you have a problem walking up very steep steps in the heat. It is a shame a 'park' is being turned into a tourist attraction with gated entry. Would've been the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon if not for
i) the traveling time/cost
ii) ticket costs, and
iii) dealing with massive crowds

Book the earliest tickets. When entering the park(entrance #3 -the most easiest way to walk-downhill), go straight to “ginger houses”. It will be a huge queue after 9:30 there. OMG! I can't say enough amazing stuff about this place!!! It was so interesting learning about the original plans for the park and seeing all the amazing designs. I LOVED IT! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Barcelona.
We got there early, which I recommend to attempt to beat some of the crowd. It fills up quickly. If you want to take pictures, get there before it opens and stand in line. When I go back, I'll know what areas to go to first because the area really does fill up fast.
I scheduled about two hours for us to spend there and wish I'd done more. In fact, I'd at least double that if you enjoy architecture and being outdoors even a little.
There's also a small bakery on site so you can grab a bite while you wander.
Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a WINNER!

The place is unique and the architecture is interesting. The place looks nicer in reality and pictures kinds don't make the place justice.
The disadvantage is that the place is almost always crowded, the if you want to take pictures in the main spots, you will most probably have to wait in a queue for a few, or if unlucky, for over 10-15 minutes.
I'd say it's worth visiting if you are patient and not in a rush.
The Gothic Quarter, also known as Barri Gòtic, is a picturesque neighborhood in Barcelona. This charming and historic area features narrow medieval streets that are filled with trendy bars, clubs, and Catalan restaurants. Tourists can explore the remains of the ancient Roman city at the Museu d'Història de Barcelona. Street vendors sell leather products and jewelry near the Cathedral of Barcelona while flower stalls and food vendors line La Rambla avenue.
The Sagrada Familia, a controversial and majestic unfinished Roman Catholic basilica in Barcelona's Example district, is an iconic UNESCO World Heritage site. Designed by renowned architect Antoni Gaudi, it stands as a testament to his unique vision and artistic genius. Combining late Spanish Gothic, Catalan Modernism, and Art Nouveau styles, the basilica aims to depict the life of Jesus and the history of faith.
If you come to Barcelona, go here! It might feel like a hefty price tag for a cathedral entrance in Europe, but it is 100% worth it!

In addition to being a stunning structure the process to enter is very easy. Easiest attraction I’ve ever been to. Show your ticket and go through security. Then your tickets get scanned and you can start the audio tour with your app. The tour leads to the museum and never fear - it leads you back to the Nativity facade where you started so you can look through again before leaving. I appreciated that it was not super busy - they didn’t seem to pack people in like i have experienced at other religious sites *cough* the Vatican * cough* but I can obviously only comment on the day I attended. The inside of the Sagrada is extremely beautiful. Bathed in light it feels calm even with all the people there with you. Amazing.
Note: you must buy your tickets online and have the app to enter.

Amazing of course. I particularly liked the way the light came through the various windows. Cool colors on one side and warm on the other. Every detail, such as the colors or proportions of the hall have meaning. Leave time for the quite extensive and interesting museum in the basement. The queues and security process are quite well organized and people working there are pleasant, asking you which language you would prefer to speak with them. Some airport operations could take away lessons from these nice but efficient and professional folks. I was very impressed by the amount of progress since my other visit, in 1983! There was no color ( just stone) and not really any fully enclosed spaces then. I hope to come back in another 40 years!

It's incredible and incredibly beautiful. If you come to Barcelona, you should definitely plan to visit the Sagrada Familia. It's best to buy tickets online so that you can get in and be sure of your preferred time. The best time, in my opinion, is in the afternoon, when the sun shines through the windows and the colours come into their own. A visit to the towers is also recommended. We went up the passion tower and had a great view to the ocean side and sun setting.

As an architect, Sagrada was a dream come true to experience. I recommend booking tickets in advance to secure your spot according to your preferred time slot. Personally, I’d advise mid to late afternoon is, however during peak season it’ll constantly be busy.
I’d suggest sure to allocate around 3-4 hours to explore and soak in the sheer size, history and detailing of the structure - both internally and externally. Lastly, make sure to download the Sagrada app beforehand, to follow the audio guide as your explore on foot.

Must visit. Our guide said we had really good sun that day so it really depends on the good weather to enjoy the kaleidoscope colours illuminated into the church!
If you like cool colours like blue and green, come in when the morning light shines. If you like warm colours of autumn, come towards sunset timings.
Suggest to join the tour to learn the significance of each structure. It looks complicated n stern but is filled with symbolism and stories. Wonderful.

Visited the place earlier and it was a wonderful experience to observe the architecture and detailing around the building. It's a real piece of art and admire the work done so far. Did not get chance to get the ticket to enter as no tickets were available at the counter. It is always advisable to book in advance if you are planning to visit the place. There are many good food choices around. Overall great experience and a must visit place while in Barcelona.

Breathtaking experience. You expect a classical church but this is completely different. Modern and classical art combined. No boring golden altars or statues but brilliant architecture and philosophy of a genius. The best monument i have ever visit. The 45 min audio guide (there is also an 25 min express option) is a very inspiring and extremely informative enabler. I fully recommend it, it makes the experience complete and gives you all the astonishing context to really enjoy this piece of art.

A amazing building, but also a very expensive exhibit. The app was very well designed and the ticket sharing was also high quality. May I suggest providing a more detailed audio guide in the app for those people wanting even more detail, including for those walking around the outside and the towers. The towers were also very limited in the length of the walk, which was not well communicated. Very friendly staff and an astonishing space.

Definitely a must visit in Barcelona. It’s magnificent! Their entry system has improved so much that you don’t need to queue up to get in anymore if you buy tickets online.
The entrance was a lil troublesome with the security checks but the staff were all very friendly and made the entire process smooth and welcoming.
The ticket although was pretty steep but came with a great audio guide that made the entire experience truly amazing.

Exceeded my expectations. Pictures don't do it justice. We bought tickets ahead, and went when it opened. There was no waiting or crowds for the first hour. It was quite busy when we left, so glad we took the approach we did. Absolutely loved the free audio guide/app, it describes things like how Gaudi used nature as inspiration. The columns, for example, look like trees. The reflection of the colorful sunlight through the glass onto the floor, ceiling and columns is absolutely breathtaking. Don't forget the museum downstairs.

Needless to say, this place is a must see in Barcelona. Regardless of your religion, you would enjoy the great architecture of the place. The windows artwork is mesmerizing, you should choose a relatively sunny day to enjoy the lights and colors throughout the basilica. Try to reserve the tickets early and plan your trip ahead because the tickets get sold out really fast.

The place is truly unique and does not resemble any other church. You have to order tickets in advance and I highly recommend adding one of the church’s towers to your visit. You reach the top by elevator and go down by foot. When entering the place, there is an airport like security check and bags scan, but the process is very smooth

Absolutely breathtaking, I have never seen anything like it! The immense amount of thought behind every little detail is incredible, the audio guide was really good for getting all the information. About the different colours of the mozaïek, the pillars and the statues. We did not go up the towers so I can’t say much about that, however the cathedral is truly amazing and I really recommend buying tickets in advance online.
Jade Spitters — Google review
You already know how amazing this was. I wasn’t that excited about going to “another cathedral,” but this was totally different. It was modern and more a work of science than art. I mean so cool. You have to go when the sun is coming through the glass. Get the free audio guide downloaded onto your phone. It’s really enlightening.

Absolutely stunning! We were fortunate to be greeted by a police officer who gave us a private tour. The panoramic view was amazing, and the surrounding area is easy to walk to see more landmarks. It's lovely strolling the streets of Barcelona. Go there, explore, experience the culture, and cross it off your bucket list!

Stunning unfinished cathedral. The inside is the opposite of a normal „boring“ church and really brings a special beauty into this building. There is a reason why Gaudi is called one of the history‘s greatest architects. The whole concept is so creative that even I‘m not a big fan of churches was impressed and spent longer than expected here. Would also recommend the passion tower facade to climb.

Absolutely stunning!! This should be #1 on your things to do in Barcelona! Once you see it in person, it's so much more amazing in person than in pictures!
NOTE - BUY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME online to get inside! They get sold out quickly, and unfortunately they were sold out for the next week, so we couldn't see the inside.
But the structure outside was magnificent and I totally recommend it.

Touring this cathedral was a fabulous experience! I booked a tour, which enables you to view it at a particular time. On a sunny day, the sun fills the cathedral with an amazing display of light. Although one tower and one facade are not yet finished, what is already built is simply splendid.

Simply put, it’s a masterpiece. One of the modern wonders of the world. I’ve gotten to visit 3x over the last 7 years and it’s been awesome watching it come together. It’s already incredible, but should be even more so when all the construction is completed. A masterpiece.

It's definitely worth visiting this place. Architecture is amazing. Go have a closer look at the exterior. Each and every object has more detailed work and a story behind it. It's still under construction and planning many more to the existing architecture, and the interior looks so amazed and beautiful. It's worth visiting this place in Barcelona.

One of the most beautiful artistic symbols I have ever seen. You should buy your tickets online to grant the access at a preferred time. Large group visits can be organized only paying for a guide. Online guide was really clear and exhaustive, it permitted me to understand what’s the story telling of the Cathedral. Amazing!
Daniela Figlioli — Google review
Really don't have the words to describe how magical a building this is. You have to see it to believe it, just incredible. If you want great photos of the exterior then you are better getting these from the street as opposed to paying the entrance fee. Inside is stunning too though.

What a place!
It is a Church, it is a museum, it is having history in its every corner.
What design, what creativity and what the usage of stones.
If you are in Barcelona, you must visit this place because it is very alive, vibrant and very good atmosphere all around.
Good food can be enjoyed. One should hire a guide and one should book the tickets in advance, online though the waiting is not too long but still it is recommended.
Enjoy the vibe all around this place.

I know it’s top attraction of Barcelona, but I am not 100% sure I totally enjoyed and understood such a mixture of different styles and ideas. You definitely need to go around just to get an idea, and it’s up to you to decide how you like it. We couldn’t get in as all online tickets were sold even for the upcoming several weeks. Some people say it’s more beautiful inside than outside, so I guess it’s for the next time. In any case, I personally cannot imagine standing outside for hours in order to get in, especially if it’s hot outside.
Anya Nura — Google review
Incredible place!! I loved meeting you. I hope to return another day and be willing to pay 40 euros to see the island from the inside. It's very impactful.
There is a shop nearby to buy souvenirs but everything is expensive, if you walk a few more blocks you will find cheaper places with the same product.
Be careful as there are a lot of people there.

What a beautiful experience it was to have visited this place. The outside of the cathedral is amazing no doubt, but the interior just touched my soul. I literally couldn’t hold my tears back when I saw where Gaudi’s crypt was. To have imagined and made such a surreal masterpiece, is beyond my imagination. No wonder his work is so popular and that he was so well respected and loved. It is a beautiful piece of art, must visit. Every penny & second invested was worth it!
Paulomi Roy — Google review
Last work of the genius and here you find all his magic view. The best view of course is the old side with the nativity. The rest seems to be tentative to follow the maestro. Inside is great especially if you can go very early before the mass is coming.

A must see in Barcelona! Definitely purchase a guided tour well in advance to make sure you get in and to learn about the history. Because we had a scheduled tour at 9 am, we did not have to wait in a line to enter.
We did the optional tower tour, which I found well worth the cost and the time. The spiral staircase coming down is quite narrow and steep. I recommend putting any bag you may have in one of the lockers and having your hands free when you descend.
Allow 2 to 3 hours for the visit.
I can't begin to describe how beautiful the stained glass is and how inspiring the design and architecture are.
Go!

I've been inside many beautiful churches and this is the prettiest I've been in. The stained glass windows show so much beautiful colorful light. The ceiling is very tall and the church is huge. In fact, it's not even a church. It's an entire basilica! An audio guide is recommended as it helps a lot.

Platja de Lloret de Mar is a beautiful and popular beach with a large bay. The sandy shore can be busy, and the water has surprisingly large waves that deepen quickly. There's a steep drop-off from the beach to the sea, making it less suitable for small children. However, there are calmer areas near Castel d'en Plaja and in the evenings.
It's a very nice beach with lots of entertainment, bars and restaurants. Very clean water, but watch your kids when it is wavy. It's deep in a couple of metres.

Came here for the day, stayed in one little area! I really like this beach the sea is quite clear, the sand is quite rough and hard to walk on but it’s ok, there’s plenty to do, drinks and food nearby an aqua course, pedal boats, toilets and showering facilities nearby. the sun beds are €8 each and extra for umbrellas and has lovely views of the area. It’s relatively busy but not overly crowded. I would come back to this beach i’ve had a great day!

Decent beech, if not a little busy. I could not walk on the sand barefoot (VERY, very small pebbles), the beech has surprisingly large waves and the water gets deep quickly. There is a steep drop-off from beech to sea which, whilst good for landing small pleasure boats, is not good for small children. I (adult) was almost knocked off my feet by waves whilst walking along the shoreline. Up towards Castel d'en Plaja (rocky area), plus (generally) in the evenings, the drop-off/wave size was not as bad.

Traveled here on the local bus from Tossa Dr Mar.
Having got off at the main bus station it was not far to walk to the beach and along the cliff top path to climb up the rocky headline or further if you wish to.
Nice sandy edge inlet swimming shallows.
Well worth a day trip and worth the bus price.
Check before returning as I thought I bought a return ticket but was informed otherwise at the ticket office bus station when I enquired about this.
Nice scenic stroll along the promenade beach front and returned back to the bus station down the back streets.

Girona Cathedral is a large, impressive building made of many different styles of architecture. It is one of the most famous and popular tourist destinations in the region. The cathedral has a wide Gothic nave that is larger than any other Gothic church in the world.

Girona was originally on my plan, on my way to Barcelona to Marseille, I made a stop for lunch, and the quick lunch turned out to be a whole afternoon leisure. I stayed at the Cathedral of Girona for over 2.5 hours, appreciating its architecture wonder. It has the widest nave of 23 meters for any cathedral in the world. It also collected the tapestry of creation treasure, the 1000 year old tapestry was still having the brightest colors you could imagine, with the design and story behind the tapestry. It is truly a masterpiece collection! The cathedral was very quiet on a Monday afternoon, only less than a dozen people inside. I was a very pleasant surprise visit of the cathedral! 🙏🙏🙏Cheers!😃😃😃

This church in Girona is truly majestic and one of the main attractions for visitors. It is one of the best churches I have seen in Europe. The Cathedral of Girona is a thousand-year-old building famous for its historical significance and its appearances in film and television. The building is located at the highest point of the old city of Girona, known as the "Old Force," and is protected by a set of walls and ramparts. The Gothic nave, tower of Charlemagne, cloister, and sacristy remain from its Romanesque period in the mid-11th century.

The ‘Catedral de Girona’ is one the most impressive architectural buildings in the whole region. The church lays imposing at the top of a beautiful, long staircase - the best spot for portrait pictures, of course. I recommend going early to avoid too much wait.

This Gothic Cathedral is certainly a sight to behold. Beyond its beauty, it is so rich in history, so be sure to pick up an audio guide on your way in. Entrance is 7 euros, which includes entrance to the basilica as well. The Cathedral has many beautiful and majestic pieces of tapestry draped over its walls, so take your time to enjoy that and the rest of the art displayed throughout the space. Definitely a must-visit during your stay in Girona.

WOW! This is the widest cathedral I have ever seen. It's the second widest in the world, after St. Peter's basilica in Vatican! Stunning cathedral, really glad I decided to go in! (versus only taking a photo of the famous steps) It's the tallest cathedral nave in Europe and has amazing stained glass. The audio guide is great and included with ticket entry. They also do student discount. Come in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, as the coach tours have gone home in the afternoon and there's several cafes still open in Girona at that time.

Visiting the Girona Cathedral is a must if you're in Girona. I visited other great churches and cathedrals throughout my travels, but for some reason, this one took my breath away as soon as I walked through the door. It must be the sound of the organ playing, mixed with the dark setting and the overwhelming size of the interior. It's hard to describe. You have to see it for yourself!

One of the most important cathedrals in Europe, it is simply impressive. Being a fan of Game of Thrones, I had to visit it. It was a great experience to see it laying at the top of a gorgeous, long staircase. This is definitely a must-see place in Girona! I would love to come back soon, probably not in Temps of Flors due to the amount of people.

Went to Girona in November 2023 for a University Trip, was absolutely gorgeous and so quiet even though it was a Thursday! 100% recommend if you want a holiday without all the noisy tourists, a lot of steep hills and walking so if you’re a bit older or have a few kids probably not great but if you don’t mind the walking it’s a lovely area, plenty of shops and cafes further back in the towny area, this was about a 15-25 min walk from the shops and stuff but that area wasn’t horrifically crowded, pretty average I would say, so overall a lovely area and perfect for travels ^^

Salvador Dali's famous art museum is housed in a red castle-like building with giant eggs and stylized Oscar-like statues. The museum exhibits pieces from Dali's early career to his later works, including installations and more discreet pieces. Visitors will likely be able to speak English, but it's polite to learn some Catalan as well.
Unique experience, the whole place is amazing. Apart from the paintings and the installations on display, visitors can also have a chance to see the artwork of some other artists. Also we had the chance to see the work that Dali did in relation with Dante's Divine Comedy. Definitely worths a visit no matter if Art is your cup of tea or not!

Amazing place, totally worth it. Salvador Dali’s art is awesome. Definitely have to see it in person. The Museum is pretty big and you need at least two hours to see everything. In addition to the main part, there is another exhibition (in another building) with Dali’s jewellery which must be seen as well. The museum is so pretty on the outside also. There is a shop inside to buy authentic souvenirs. Had a great time, you should visit it too, if in Barcelona!!!

The museum that Dali himself designed for himself and his posterity. You need a guided tour to fully understand the nuances of the museum. While I didn't see any signature pieces, still saw a number of unique pieces to make it a worthwhile visit. The city of Figueres is Dali's hometown and having his museum there, he is giving back to his hometown with the tourist dollars forever. Definitely a proud native son.

Really 4.5. It is a unique and interesting museum, but it didn't sweep me off my feet. For one thing, it's not very large. And it doesn't contain some of Dali's best works. When there are a lot of people, it can feel crowded. Nonetheless, it's worth a visit if you are in Barcelona for at least 3 nights.
Also, no need to go there with a tour company, as it's readily accessible by train out of Barcelona for a fairly inexpensive price, and a 15-20 mins walk from the train station. The town of Figueres is also cute, so it's worth strolling through it a bit.
Igor Faynshteyn — Google review
Probably the main attraction of Figueres. It is possible and recommended to purchase tickets online in advance. The museum is splendid, with the peculiarity that, by Dali's own will, there is no predetermined route, and everyone is free to visit it in their own way. More explanations regarding the exhibited content would have probably made the visit even more interesting, but it remains an overall splendid experience.

If you like Dali you will find this museum interesting. I took the guided tour in English and learned some interesting details that you do not get just from wandering around.

Well, what else can be said about this sublime museum? Dali designed and set it all up and you can tell as much upon entering and the ensuing adventure within.
I visited in May 2016 when the weather was beautiful. The train from Barcelona doesn’t take too long and is cheap enough. The train I got took around 2 hours and cost around 20 Euro’s return. The museum ticket was 14 Euro’s but this may have changed.
The crowds were spread out so things didn’t get too claustrophobic and you can go off in pretty much any direction you wish. It’s definitely not your conventional journey inside a museum.
My visit was made more fun after meeting a recently divorced American lady who sold everything up and decided to back pack around Europe. She has been a Dali fan since high school and this was one of her major stops along her travels. It was quite exciting to see someone from the other side of the world enjoying the museum like a child enjoys Christmas morning.
The shop was nice but could have had a little more on offer. I did pick up a lovely poster for the collection but there wasn’t a lot on offer which was a shame.
There are few museums around Europe that offer an experience of this kind. Now we are getting back to more regular travel, I would suggest you make The Dali Museum a high priority.

Difficult to put into words. If you like Dali’s work, given he designed this Museum - this is almost a religious experience. Be sure to visit the Dali Jewels exhibition just beyond the Museum gift shop, included with your ticket. Well worth the trip to the beautiful town Figueres.

The Dali museum was well worth the hassle of traveling to Figueres from Barcelona. It's a short walk (15 min) from the train station. We arrived late for our reservation due to us taking longer than expected on the train. They allowed us to come in only because there were open spaces in the next time slot but I highly recommend reserving tickets ahead of time. The museum is I think about 3 floors and ascends in a circular manner. It's extremely crowded in the afternoon so perhaps an early time slot is more comfortable. It was difficult to admire all the works due to the crowds but that was to be expected. If you're debating on coming here, take the plunge. I am a big fan of his artwork and to witness one of his greatest masterpieces, including his tomb was very gratifying.

Came on one of the busiest weekends mid August. The place was full of tourists, but even then we still had some luck with waiting outside the two nearby indoor parkings for around 10 minutes to be able to park. We walked up over to the ticket counter and bought the tickets to get access in the next 10 minutes. It was around 2:30pm when we got in. The place is a bit of a maze but it honestly fits with the vibe of Dali's art. Despite it being packed, the rest of the tourists were respectful of space and it was a generally nice visit. The art, of course, is amazing - a definite must visit.

We were blown away by the intricate details and senses-evoking exhibits and experience that this museum had provided. As a Dali fan, it was a visual and thought-provoking feast! Even my companions of non-dali fans were easily converted into one after going through the works and installation.

Really interesting display. Interactive and fun. We tried not to get lost, many things to see. Quite sure we missed a few! Loved the pictures with Dali himself painting what we can actually see in the room.
Only bémol would be the app. If you take a picture with your phone, the app starts from scratch when relaunched… it takes too long.
Easy to park nearby - we added a nice walk downtown with small Christmas market.

Very interesting to walk and look around the huge museum of quirky and fascinating artwork and experience. You don’t have to love art to have a great time and enjoy this museum. It’s a fun place to experience
with friends and family and you can spend a lot of time just talking about it. Each artwork is so unique and eye catching - some are huge installations, some play with the architecture of the building, others require a second look to unravel the overall picture. There are so many hidden features in each area, depending on where you are looking from, something could look entirely different. It’s a museum unlike any other, where every wall and corner would have something special. Each artwork would have an artist statement and description, explaining the intention and meaning behind the piece, making it so much more interesting and easy to appreciate. Some art pieces are absolutely incredible in terms of their visual qualities like the choice of colour, the fine details, the overall composition. Included in the ticket, is a nearby building a few steps away from the museum, where there are artworks made of precious gems and jewels. Each piece was simply stunning - bedazzled in colourful gems, each work had a peculiar structure and form.

A must visit! I was very delighted with what I saw. There is one drawback - you may not get to the museum immediately as soon as you arrive in Figueres, due to the huge influx of tourists to the museum, as well as others who want to visit it, so I recommend purchasing tickets online in advance. We bought tickets at about 11.30 and got to the museum only at 16.15.

Amazing experience. If you are in the area this is a 'must do' even if you aren't into the work of Salvador Dali. This fascinating museum is all the more incredible given the fact that the great man conceived and created it himself during his lifetime.

No one ever will concur Dali in this type of “crazy”! It’s absolutely amazing 😻
When going there I would recommend:
1) buy tickets upfront online
2) If you are going with a baby, they will ask you to leave stroller at the entrance. So I would recommend to have a baby carrier with you

I am glad that I had a chance to attend a true performance within this Museum. Walking through its labyrinth evokes so many emotions, thoughts and feelings. I think everyone should visit it at least once. You may like or dislike it. But it will touch your heart for sure.

Plaça Gala i Salvador Dalí, 5, 17600 Figueres, Girona, Spain
The Salvador Dalí House Museum in Port Lligat is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. This unique museum showcases the eccentric and intriguing life of Salvador Dalí, who resided here with his wife Gala from 1930 to 1982. The magnificent seaside complex overlooks a serene cove, offering breathtaking views. The whitewashed structure consists of interconnected cottages and sunny terraces, connected by narrow corridors that create a fascinating labyrinthine experience.
A fantastic window into Dali's life and thoughts. His studio is wonderful, once you see some of his large pieces at the museum you'll understand his movable easel.
Make sure to have reservations or be ready to wait and get there early.

A must stop for any fan of Salvador Dali’s life and work. Get intimate with his life work by visiting his house in Port Lligat. You will learn so much. Do the house tour and visit the olive garden. Beautiful views from the top. A magical place for sure.

I feel like it had more potential - they could have made the whole tour QR code audio guided.
He seems like an interesting character so I’m sure it could have been packed with fun facts and his life story.
They have mini QR snippets here and there but literally like 1-3 sentences that hardly offers value.
Watch a documentary about him beforehand to get a foundation first because you won’t be taught anything about his life Eg where he grew up/where he’s from/ how he died/his career.
It’s cool to see the quirky house and garden. And the little bay that it’s in is cute. But definitely unmet potential.

Went in the low season so it wasn't crowded.
The setting is like a film set from a by gone time...stunning. His art isn't to my taste, nor the movement he is associated with but this environment is magical and we are in his intimate environment which has been frozen in time.

This was my favorite Dali museum out of the three! We went early in the morning on a Tuesday morning and loved the views from Dali’s personal Seaside mansion. This gives you a very close glimpse into the artist’s and his wife’s life together. Make sure to buy tickets beforehand! This was a very easy drive from Fugeres.

Entrance fee is 19€, but online 1€ cheaper, better to buy in advance, especially in summer.
Visits are possible in small groups, ~10 persons.
Guido speak English, Spanish, Catalan, French (not audio guide).
You’ll get a map for your tour.
Video about Dali’s life in the end of your visit, optional to see, language Catalan 🤦🏻♀️
We enjoyed our visit, recommend

We loved this house tour! Dali did a lot of curious things and this house is full of interesting things to see. The people there are very particular that you have to pick up the tickets 30 minutes early and you can only go in the house exactly when your ticket says. There is a delicious open air restaurant about a 2 minute walk from the Dali house, right next to the bay. Check it out.

Dali's house is now a permanent time capsule dedicated to the incredible life and work of one of our greatest ever artists. His home is virtually untouched since his passing and therefore gives the visitor a fascinating glimpse into the life of the world's most famous surrealist artists.
For me, the opportunity to stand in his studio with several of his unfinished works was quite awe inspiring and incredibly emotional.
I must applaud the dedicated staff who were both passionate and helpful. If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit to this historical attraction.

When in Spain, visit Dali! The view in front of Dali's house is no wonder why he was such a great artist! Full of scenic view. It's a bit of walk of ups & downs from Cadaques center but worth taking one. The house is now a museum surrounded by a small cafe, a washroom and an art gallery.

A neat and interesting look into Dalí’s life and how it influenced him as an artist. They were quite strict on the time to enter, but did ask to arrive half an hour before, so plan on wandering around the estate a bit before the tour. We did end up spending much longer than we anticipated since we enjoyed it more than we thought we would. What a fun house!

Must see! Mandatory to book the visit in advance. We’ve planed too visit the Theatre Dali Museum in Figueres and due to time availability, we decided to visit the house of the artist before. Unfortunately we didn’t planed right and didn’t booked tickets in advance. The result was that the day was sold out. Still we managed to visit the gardens and exterior (separate ticket), which was available. The pool is also included in this tour. It tooled us aprox 1h and it gave us an idea regarding the house interior. It definitely worth to see at least the exterior if not the full house. As Dali himself stated, one cannot understand the artist works, if one hasn’t visited the artist nest.

Buy tickets in advance, well worth trip. Super interesting space, good compliment to museum. Cadaqués right next door is beautiful as well. Overall you won’t see many of his paintings but more of his mindset and thinking

It’s a great place. It’s a true home where you can feel less madness of Dali but more everyday life of the artist and his wife. They lived here and it’s obvious. But you can still see his amazing flair and talent. However the system to buy and get the tickets is weird. Even if you buy it online (which i strongly recommend) you have to arrive 30 mins in advance to pick them up and wait for 30 mins to start the visit which doesn’t make any sense. We were here in winter and there were no places to stay a bit and drink coffee or have any snacks. 30 mins of walking around is not so cool. Meanwhile the museum itself is worth it. It’s the third spot out of three museums within the Dalí triangle. I would say that it’s not so surprising and expressive in comparison with others but it helps to understand how Dali felt the world around.
Kirill Maksimkin — Google review
Must to visit in Cadaqués. There is a spacious parking if you arrive by car otherwise it is 10min walk from the center.
Make sure you make a reservation if you want to visit the interiors while for the garden reservation is usually not needed.

The Réserve Africaine de Sigean is a safari park and zoo that features African animals such as lions, gnus, and rhinos in both drive-through and walk-through areas. Visitors can observe these savanna animals in expansive enclosures that are well maintained. It is an ideal location for a day trip where visitors can enjoy lunch at one of the several snack bars available. The Sigean zoo is also dog friendly, making it accessible to pet owners looking for an exciting wildlife experience.
This is a great day out and they are dog friendly. The animals enclosures are big and are very well kept. They have several snack bars to get some lunch. We will definitely visit again

Very nice place, cool idea! You can have a "Safari" with your own car / camping car, driving around (queueing in August) among exotic animals wandering free!
After that, there is a walking only area with many others animals and attractions for children.
The whole route takes 4-5 hours -ish. Water available inside the park.
The only con is related to the safari part, if you go in August (or during high season) you will probably queue a lot waiting for people to take pictures of the animals.

Absolutely amazing! We went on a day trip from Spain to visit the reserve. The kids had a great time and the animals look very well taken care of. Well done to all staff for such an amazing job. 👏🏻👏🏻 I would say the bathrooms were dirty, maybe a little more care will be appreciated by the visitors.
Anisia Pienaar — Google review
It is ok for the less price.
We had a bad luck with a weather but still we managed to pass there a half of the day.
We liked the first driving part. It was interesting, animals were walking really close and that what you could name “safari”.
But, unfortunately, this part was short and the rest of the park was more close to a typical zoo. To compare zoo of Valencia and Barcelona, I liked more: more animals and better territory. A lot of zones were empty….
The restaurant of the park is not expensive but not tasty at all, in IKEA you could eat much better. The souvenir shop is incredibly expensive, 25 euros for the small animal toy looks ridicules.
To conclude, it is a good option if the price was double less, it doesn’t cost its price at all. And there are a lot of picnic zones on the open air where better to take something really tasty and enjoy your lunch.

Visited again in July 2023. A huge territory for a car ride and a walking tour. WC are free, there are restaurants where you can get a snack or have a full lunch. During my first visit the part of the reserve was closed because of the bird flu. This time I could discover their collection of birds, it's impressive.

We enjoyed our experience at this park. It’s quite rare you get to do a self-drive safari, especially in the middle of Europe. So, this is a once in a lifetime experience. There were lots of animals to see and the park is really well organised. Just that we keep in the super peak period and the self-drive was super slow from heavy traffic (tourists stopping to take photos). I would recommend to come as early as you can to avoid the traffic.
Nishanth S P — Google review
We fell in love with this reserve! We loved the idea that you get to see real predators through the window of your car at a pace you feel comfortable with. It was truly unique. Even though it was really hot (more than 30 degrees C), we saw all animals, even the lazy lions, and bears. There were also plenty of bovine animals walking freely and not being intimidated by the cars passing by. This part of the park took about an hour and a half. The rest of the park, which is accessible on foot, is a good 4-hour walk.
The sanitary parts were well-maintained and eating inside the park is not expensive, as one might expect. Also, there are proper indications throughout the entire park so you can never get lost. There are mist shower systems situated in several places to keep you cool. Last but not least, there are many taps with drinkable water (if you bring your dog, there are taps suited at about 30 cm above the ground, which are perfect for small dogs). Definitely recommend to all families and animal lovers!

I worked in Perpignan for a while so i visited what i could in the area :).
Been here with my fiancee, and didn't regret it at all. Was a pleasant day,not too warm, not too cold.
First part you travel in your car, we saw some black bears, some herbivorous animals like zebras, ostrichs and others. Than some Liones, actually one lion and some lionesses . Than we had a 4 hours walk , no rush and it was ok. Like a bigger zoo, animals with more space to run and play. No elephants or tigers, but for a walk in nature is a good place to go. The food is not the best and somehow expensive for what they offer. It is usually crowded, even if i went there outside the busy hours they say :).
After all it's a nice experience, worth going. This only if you haven't been in an actually Africa safari, than this will look like childish :).
adrian mircea — Google review
All in all this was a beautiful experience. We arrived reasonably early within the week (Monday, 9.30am) and it actually worked out really well. It wasn't too full, you can slowly drive through the Safari and it is an absolutely unique experience! Beware that the Lion part of the Safari opens at 10am, so we did have to wait for a moment before we could enter.
The Staff is super friendly and speaks English as well.
The Walkable Part of the Park is also really nice, with a lot of shade on the walkways and places to stop to eat/use the toilet etc. The enclosures seemed really nice to me, the animals weren't pacing and seemed really relaxed in general. There are some peacocks roaming around as well, which is pretty cool too.
All in all this was a great experience, and considering you can spend your entire day here and see all these beautiful animals this was definitely money well spent. I would always recommend!
Jennifer Schneider Díaz — Google review
That’s a huge park with very respectful and friendly way of treating animals. There is enough space for them as I can see. It doesn’t feel like a zoo. It’s more a window to a wildlife sanctuary. Even in winter you can find a restaurant to have some food. Meanwhile the infrastructure is really nice and well planned. There are parking, rest rooms, shops - everything that you may need after a long trip to this place. For sure this experience is worth it.

Love this place. Seeing the animals as you drive was great then another whole part to walk.. need at least 3 hours if not more.. we went early amd was not to hot.. the hotter it get the more the animal stay in the shade. Also saw the flimgos being feed at 2pm was great so close . My 3 year old loved it.. but got tired on the walk part
June Murphy — Google review
The place is amazing. You can see alot of animals roam free. I highly recommend checking the feeding times of the animals, because that is the best time to visit them. You often see animals directly on the road. Be aware that the food isn't anything special at the place.
Venelin Dimitrov — Google review
We went in April 2023, in the morning. You should book in advance and you’re given an entry time (tolerance of 15-30 minutes if I remember correctly) - the website has all the info:
There are 2 parts. One visited inside the car (wild animals):
The wild animals were moving freely, but very visible since the food is next to the road where the cars circulate.
The animals looked “happy”, although bears and lions were sleeping (maybe their natural way).
The second part:
The park which can be visited on foot is very big, things distance apart, so be ready to use your shoes 😊
The restaurant has several options, including healthy ones. There are several coffee and ice cream shops around the park, with snacks, etc.
Regarding activities here (feeding animals, etc), there were not too many, nor information was very clear/ helpful. This is something to improve in my opinion.
I understand it’s intended to simulate a natural habitat , so I like that this is respected

Best zoo/animal reserve experience that we’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and happy with plenty of room to roam. This is what a zoo should be like. The staff is friendly and the experience itself was amazing. Definitely recommend even if it’s out of your way. Well worth the trip and would love to go back.
Zachary Huisman — Google review
The visit started out with a very long 40 minutes car queue to enter. We had already purchased our tickets, as requested in their website, but we noticed most cars hadn't. Hence the wait.
The first part of the tour is through the outer spaces were animals are free in the environment and visitors must be in their cars, with windows closed. To our astonishment, people lowered the car windows, offered food to animals, screamed at the animals and some even got out of their cars to photograph them. NO ONE FROM THE PARK DID ANYTHING. We were amazed.
Besides, the bears area had 3 bears only; we could only see 2 rhinoceros and lions were lying down in a space limited by an electric wire (over 10 meters away from the road)
Afterwards, we did the walking tour. We expected many more species and animals, larger spaces for them, but no. Animals are caged in spaces that evidently don't allow them to run or exercise as they would in the wild (so it feels more like a zoo than to a reservation).
The Vivarium doesn't have many species either.
It is a nice experience for kids, but we expected a lot more for the entrance fee.
Restaurants and snack bars are available in the walking area of the park, but food IS EXPENSIVE! And quality is not great. But I must say that fries were awesome!
Nice to see the tallest bridge -336,4m- in the world. The best part is that you can see it from underneath. This gives you the best view of how tall it is. Absolutely amazing. There is also the possibility to have a guided tour.

Spectacular. Tallest bridge in the world (as measured by height of span). Worth taking a day out to visit it. It can be seen for miles. Be sure to drive both under and over. Also, be sure to visit the viewing point and visitor centre at the North end of the bridge. No pedestrian access. If you're bon the motorcycle, be ready for gusts.

A truly magnificent place. The drive from Montpellier is just over 1 hour. You don’t need to do the u-turn like google says, just past the bridge going north there is an exit to the visitor center. No food onsite, but bring a lunch or snack and enjoy at picnic tables with an amazing view.

Seaquarium is a state-of-the-art marine life center that boasts 200 species of sea creatures including sharks, rays and seals bred on site as part of their protection program. The aquarium offers visitors an opportunity to witness and interact with a variety of sea animals such as baby sharks which can be touched. It has well-maintained tanks, toys, and awareness programs for visitors to learn about the different species. One of the highlights is the interesting story about monk seals.
We had an amazing time, and despite visiting on Easter Sunday, it did not feel crowded. There is lots to see, an almost endless variety of creatures, and loads of information in both French and English. We were lucky enough to catch the seal show, which is at random times to ensure that they do not fall into a routine and get bored. The tunnel, the big tank, all amazing. Buggies and wheelchairs were all well catered for with ramps and lifts. There was even an egg hunt as it was Easter day!

Lovley aquarium with loads of exhibitions, and nice to have it catered for with English signage also. Reasonably priced. Seal viewing area lovley inparticular to just watch them. Had no idea times they were fed though :(
Highlight of the holiday was getting to stroke the sharks!
But it was super crowded initally, especially, sure people spread out as you explore (eventually), but initially it was over whelming the amount of people and prams and bags squeezed into small spaces... Was ready to leave and im not especially claustrophobic either.

It's a nice place to spend time with kids or anyone who's interested in underwater life. For 16€ for an adult, you can see sharks, rays, huge turtles, different fish, other sea creatures and seals. The place is full of information about sea life, endangered species, water pollution puzzles for curious minds. The day I visited the seaquarium, there was a quest for children : they got a task at the entrance and had to look for clues around the aquarium. So their time there wasn't just wondering around and watching fish. There's a parking next to it and a few places to eat. The photos I post can't show the real beauty of the place, so go and check it yourself 🤗

Great Aquarium for a 2-hour visit! Plenty of activities for kids, clean and tidy aquariums. The fish look healthy and well taken care of. The entrance fees are reasonable for what you can see and do. There are some booths for pictures, an area where you can touch mini-sharks (highly recommended, really cool experience also for kids as they cannot bite). Overall a nice experience and time well spent! Really educative especially with regards to sensibilisation to waste in the oceans.

The aquariums were very beautiful. Especially the sharktunnel was our favourite place. We went there at about 13h and it was not too busy. But after an hour it became very busy and afterwards there was a long line to enter. Very happy we were out, because while it became busier it felt very crammed. We went with our littles ones (4y old and 1y old) and it was just right for them. Although, I find the price a tiny bit too expensive for how old the place looks. I hope they can renovate it bit by bit too make the place better.

The Ornithological Park Pont de Gau, located north of the city of Marseille, is a premier spot for birdwatchers. The reserve has trails for walking and biking, as well as viewing platforms with excellent views of the wetlands and marshes where pink flamingos and herons live. Other migratory and seasonal birds can also be spotted here. There is a care center for sick or injured birds as well.
A beautiful morning spent marveling at countless flamingoes and other bird life in the natural marshland habitats. Do come with zoom camera or binoculars! Also remember to get your ticket stamped so that you can do re-entry if wanting to come again after lunch. Overall a must do if you’re in the area

Really nice park where you can observe lots of animals, mostly birds like flamingos, for only 7.50 euros per person and 5 euros for children! You can also rent some binoculars for 5 euros which I recommend because you will be able to observe a lot more animals like the beavers and the nutrias who are a bit shy.
By visiting this park you will walk quite a lot: there are two parts one of 3 km and the other about 4.5 km but it's a really nice walk in between all the animals!
Unfortunately the information boards that explain the different animals are only in french.

Fantastic place, absolutely worth to visit! You can observe in nature many kinds of birds (sleeping pink flamingos were the best!) and water animals like beavers. Having a good quality full frame digital camera with telephoto lens might be a huge benefit. A beautiful reserve with excellent walks, guides and seating giving you every chance to watch flamingos, gulls, egrets and herons amongst the wetlands and islands, as well as the occasional coypu.
Immaculately kept, with no rubbish.
We met staff watching nests who let us use their monoculars.
Only €7.50 for an adult.
You can take your own picnic, and a basic cafe serves drinks (cash only).
Although entrance closes at 6pm you can stay til "dusk" and still get out through turnstile.
Bike racks both inside and out.
Toilets basic but functional.

This place is amazing and a heaven for bird enthusiasts and common men alike. The birds here are used to seeing people and aren't afraid of them.
If you are an avid birder then they have an extended path with bird hides to do some proper birding.
We went there in mid Feb, which isn't exactly the birding season of the region but we still saw plenty of birds, resident and winter migrators alike.
Some of the hides weren't properly maintained, like we had a bush growing in front of a hide which cast a shadow in all of my pics 🫤

We drove 45 minutes to get there and it was worth every minute incredible! Great for Bird Photography. I only took one photo with my iPhone at our picnic spot, apparently Google maps and reviews don’t like photos taken with the canon R5

One of my first natural parks, truly an emotion! I will not have seen all the species contained in this gigantic park but only being able to see how much fauna still lives in nature (obviously controlled) and thrives in this way. I had really never seen flamingos before and this visit really amazed me.There are routes suitable for families and for the more adventurous who want to discover the whole natural park, there are numerous truly appreciated lookout posts. I truly recommend it to anyone🤩🤩

Very nice bird park that is nicely set up to balance the good of the birds along with getting nice views. There are two walking areas with paths and we took the shorter one which was about a mile and a half. This is clearly the flamingo season and there were hundreds of them everywhere. It was beautiful. A very nice stop and handy to Arles.

Charming Park: Crowds of flamingos are just around the corner, cool educational content to learn more about these amazing birds. Flamingos undoubtedly attract the main attention, but there are a huge number of other birds in the park - storks, cranes, etc. Excellent walking routes, equipped places for recreation and picnics.

Too many visitors on a sunny Friday. I saw these kind a birds in the wild before in the area. Too many mosquitos. Terrible bathrooms. Euro 8 for adults.

The historical landmark Jardin de La Fontaine is a public park located in Nimes. It is a beautifully landscaped garden with Roman ruins and botanic gardens, as well as ponds and sculptures. The park offers stunning views of the city below.
This park in Nîmes is really beautiful, the trees give it a cool breeze. From the park you have a clear and lovely view of the town. It is so breath-taking just to visit the place. I would go back there countless times. I was with friends so, The more the Merrier...but you can do it solo.

A great set up of fountains. A lot of hungry carp is present in the water which is eager to eat anything. Near the fountains a roman Temple can be found which is easily accessible. It gives a nice view of structure.

Beautiful park to walk around with amazing views from the Roman tower at the top... if you can make it up there in 34 degree heat. Nice cafe at the bottom which is perfect for a drink or two in the shade.

Absolutely stunning place to visit . It’s situated in a beautiful spot . The park is really nice to walk round . Theres plenty of fish to see swimming about carp I think , There’s toilets close by with disabled access to . There’s a little cafe situated just outside the gates by the toilets . A sublime park that climbs the hillside until it meets the tower Magne at the summit. The views, sculptures and Roman architecture around the source are all fantastic. Plenty of places to sit and relax with a picnic or sunbathe. Small children's parks are placed throughout with a miniature carousel by the main entrance. It's well maintained and naturally very green, with a mixture of more exotic plants and trees added for variety. The source is also surrounded by various fountains and water features keeping the air cool and fresh. A must visit for all ages!

The Carrières de Lumières is an art center situated in ancient quarries in the village of Baux-de-Provence in southern France. The center hosts exhibitions of digital art that project the imagery of famous artists like Picasso and Van Gogh on century old limestone walls.
What a form of art it is! The blend of light and music with this art will make you feel immersed into it. It will be a wonderful experience for anyone regardless of their interest in art. The theme when I went was "Venice, La Serenissima"
This is a great form of art expression and exhibition and would be happy to visit again as they have changing themes.

This place is amazing. I guess it was once a mine but the acoustics are amazing and they have decked the place out with high grade projectors and a serious sound system. They project animated art accompanied by music. It really is a magical experience.

This is an absolute MUST see! It's quite simply breathtaking. My teenagers were spellbound but when we took them a younger children, they were equally impressed. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and book in advance as you approach the high summer season. It's a little chilly inside so pack a jumper if you're visiting, even in summer. No dogs are allowed inside at all so be mindful of this if travelling with your furry friend.

Really above expectations. Beautiful presentation in a mountain. It already starts with the beautiful route to the location. Parking 🅿️ is paid, but enough spots and some will require some more walking. Location is children and wheelchair friendly. Even the kids enjoyed the show as the complete location is part of the presentation. Beautiful storyline and nice that there are multiple benches to sit, relax and to enjoy the show. It’s worth it to do a round and view the show from different angles. Cafe/lunch section is not the greatest but ok 👍🏻.

Amazing place of art and usage of a place. Highly recommended for all who love art. Multimedia presentation of van Gogh was excellent and unique. We spent 3 h inside. There is also a dining area with toilets. Just be aware that parking is very expensive for the first hour (5€), we paid 6.5€ for 3 hours. The entry fee was 14.5 € for an adult. Inside was nice cold, just perfect regarding that outside was 34 C.

The immersive light show exhibition is a breathtaking fusion of art and technology, casting the impassioned brushstrokes of Van Gogh and his Impressionist contemporaries onto an expansive canvas that envelops the entire space. In the heart of the Baux de Provence region, the raw beauty of the artists' work is amplified, creating a symphony of light that dances across every surface, inviting the viewer into a vivid world where color and texture come alive. This is not just an exhibition; it's a sensory journey that intertwines the soul of Impressionism with the pulse of the present.

Grotte Chauvet 2 - Ardèche is a unique complex located about 7km northeast of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. This UNESCO-listed site is a replica of the original Grotte Chauvet cave and features around 1000 meticulously reproduced paintings, as well as approximately 450 bones and other debris.
Very impressive presentation of the very first human painting art in the world. Even the cave is a replica, you totally have the feeling of being in the real cave. I think it is fully acceptable that the original cave is not open for the public in order to preserve the original paintings. The interactive part of the exhibition well introduce the fauna of the ice age.

Didn't know what to expect as you see a replica of the caves not the real deal. Got to say its well done and once inside you soon forget your not in the real cave. The audio tour is available in English and switches automatically as you go through each section. It takes about 1 hour to walk the cave.

Well I'm afraid it didn't quite hit the mark for a number of reasons. 1) we book a ticket for 15:30 and are then told we are late even though we were at the gate at 15:20. 2) You arrive at the entrance to the cave system. At the last minute you are told to download an App to be guided through the visit. Trouble is the site has very little phone signal (even the guide was laughing at that). 3) let's remember that this is a module of the real thing, but the guide says no photos and no videos. Why on earth not?! Sorry but I've €18 for this and want remember my visit... 4) OK, it looks inside but it is lifeless with no dampness, not cold enough and no sense of being in a real cave. 5) I guess I have to trust that this is a good replica of the real thing....
We went in Late November. I can imagine summer is very busy.

Absolutely worth a visit, there is so much to see at this site. But most impressive is the replicated cave. The attention to detail is amazing. The tour through the "cave" is slow and you get a real feel of how the real cave would appear.
Alexander Lewis — Google review
The original cave must be amazing and one of the most important for humanity. The copy is a huge engineering and architecture achievement. However I could not stop wandering how well they reproduced the original paintings. I would have loved to look at the details of each piece but this point is mute when we consider a reproduction.
The tour is rushed because they are more interested in making money.
Facilities are not set up for large Amos of people, in the Cafe I had to wait 30 minutes for a warmed up sandwich.
Overall very pleasant experience.

I would give this place ten stars if it was possible. The cave is so interesting, it feels as if it was the real one, both for smell and darkness, and the guide explained the main paintings, and still also a number of minor drawings had been recreated and were visible. A second visit would also be interesting. The place also offers a park and an we could see an "moving" art exhibit which, although it had no connection with the archaeological visit, was surprising and great. There is plenty of parking and the place is easy to find (despite the winding road). It is forbidden to take photos in the cave as we were said the pictures are online.

We arrived around 5 pm and wanted to visit the cave. At the entrance we were already told that we must pay the complete price, but not see everything because of "the storm“ (lame excuse). The funny thing is: At the same time, each point of visit is covered. We decided to visit the cave anyway. In the cave we got headphones to listen to the explanations in German. So far, so good. However, the guide didn't pay any attention to the foreign speakers at all. As soon as she finished explaining in French, she turned off the lights and we were left in the dark. When we left the cave, 40min before closing time, all places to visit were already closed. For this, 18€ was not worth it and the staff is also not helpful at all. If you do not speak French in the store, you are abandoned. For a tourist place really sad.

We just went here today and we had a very good experience! The first one we were not si fortunate as we followed Waze and google in English and we were brought to the original site so we had to add 25 minutes more I think to reach the site. We selected English for our daughter and we were lucky to be just the 3 of us! The tour was so intimate with our guide who was very knowledgeable and informative, we forgot to ask his name! But he answered every questions and showed us interesting things! We appreciated a lot of things because him! Removed the misconception that 30,000 years ago people were less developed, smaller and not so smart to than we are! But in fact no, they have bigger brains, worked only 6 hours and created this magnificent cave that is such a marvel!

I have to admit that firstly I hesitated to go as it is about a replica of the real Chauvet cave. After reading all the good comments we did go and do not regret this! It is really great. We did go with 3 kids 12, 14 and 16 and there is an app that you can download upon the entrance and which will guide you through the cave with good intervals in different languages. Even in Dutch which was perfect for us and the kids. Please don't go with very young kids as it is only disturbing for others. Once you are in the cave it is like you are in the real one.

Loved the place. We arrived at around 9.30 for the 11.20 English language tour. This allowed us plenty of time to see the art installation, and the history of the area.
The tours start promptly, so be there or be square. You also have headphones to hear your guide. Great idea, helps block out screaming kids.
Very easy to walk if disabled. No steps and very gentle slopes.

Amazing castle with very interesting history guide. Chinese is available in the guide. There are incredible wall paintings in the castle where you can’t take photos in those rooms. It’s definitely worth the ticket price and the visit. The 3D castle magnet is very pretty and I couldn’t find the same magnet design elsewhere apart from in the castle souvenir shop. Unfortunately it seems impossible to visit the souvenir shop again once you are out of the gate.

Beautifully curated and well kept palace. There is so much history to be discovered, and so many new things to explore. It is very well kept, with cleaning every few weeks, for the outside. The town surrounding is very touristy, with many shops and restaurants to see. I would recommend going into the palace after lunch, so that you'll go in not starving.

The visitor experience here is really well done. We didn’t buy tickets ahead of time but there wasn’t much of a wait (<5 min) when we went on a Monday around 4pm. An amazing place with a history that makes you think about the "infallibility and unity" of the Catholic Church. Nevertheless, the palace itself, its vastness and splendor inspire respect and admiration. How were people in those times able to build something so huge and so solid at the same time!? Wonderful cloisters, walls and courtyards. Huge spaces of halls inside the palace. Incredible.
Rav W (RaVek72) — Google review
We enjoyed visiting this palace very much. Once we arrived and paid our tickets, we were offered tables and headphones. While we took the self guided tour we could see with the help of the tablets the way in which each room looked like back in the day. We appreciate the integration of technology in the experience. The tickets we got included a visit on the Avignon bridge too.
Georgiana Ioana — Google review
We purchased a package that included the Palisade des Papes, the garden, and the bridge where we visited the first two on one day and the bridge the next.
They provided a very interesting tablet that allows you to view many of the rooms you visit as they likely looked back in time. Many of the rooms were quite sparse and there are a number of stairs so those with issues with them might have issues.
The garden section was small and not very interesting due to the lack of well kept plants and flowers.
During our visit there was a photographic exhibition on the Amazon which was interesting but was very warm with all the lights even though it was October due to the very little cooling which consisted of a couple of fans.
Sal FromCal — Google review
After narrow streets of Avignon, suddenly we arrived in a very grand piazza, which is contrary to the small alleys in the city. Very nice place to spend your time sitting and enjoy the sunset. We didnt get into the palace since we were late. Hopefully next time
Ellen Brigitta — Google review
It's worth a walk through because of its importance and size, both significant but the crowds (even on the last day of October) can make looking at some of the smaller rooms impossible. So you wait until the crowd has left or you skip the room. In summer it would be horrific I'm sure, and if I imagine the crowds I would say not worth it. The tour route is not particularly clear and the history ipad thing is a bit clunky. The best thing I can say about it is that it saves trees for brochures.

This isn't a museum it's a massively overpriced augmented reality tour through mostly empty rooms. The walls look the same from the outside so you might as well stay there.

Excellent histopad which takes you through the various rooms. You scan the scan in each room and on your pad the room as it was is brought to life, with marked areas to learn more about the room, the people who used it and about some of the items used, as well as seeing how it was decorated. Well worth a visit. Many many steps both up and down.

I didn't know I would enjoy this visit so much. The computer tablets they lend you are a bit of a distraction at the beginning, but turn out to be a wealth of information and a lot of fun once you figure them out. The palace is amazing and historically very significant. This is the one thing everyone should do when visiting Avignon. I can't believe it took me this long to get there.
Guillaume Slama — Google review
The Palace itself was remarkable. It's hard to fathom that it was built so long along and in such incredible condition.
However, the Samsung tablet that they give you is a little immature. You scan a QR code and you read a little information (there is no sound) and then you are meant to scan the room and watch the screen to see a rendered version of how it used to look, which would be great for kids, but I prefer facts and historical data.
There were many many signs around the castle explaining things, but it was all in French. It's a shame the tablet couldn't be used to scan those information boards and translate into other languages like on Google Translate.
The large grandstand as you enter the exhibition also detracted from the experience, but I am still glad we attended.
There were some amazing artifacts and the Pope's bedroom with it's painted walls and elaborate floor was our favourite part.

An absolutely historical hotspot. It’s one of the biggest, still existing middle age-gothic buildings/ structures. Really impressive - also nicely guided. Great palace from ancient times. You get a tablet for free to use during the visit. With that you can get a lot of background information about the palace and each room. With the tablet you can also look around to see on the screen how those rooms used to look like during the pope was living there.

We had a great experience visiting this palace. Lots of historical events happened here that everyone who comes to Avignon have to know. I've learned lots of new things about the way of living of the popes, his second hand, the treasury, the three-storey kitchen, etc. The palace is grandiose.

A visit to the Palais de Papes (Papal Palace) in Avignon takes visitors back to the 14th century when the city served as the seat of the Papacy. The palace is a magnificent Gothic structure, and was a symbol of power and influence for the Catholic Church during that time.
I enjoyed stunning architecture, frescoes, and halls that once hosted ceremonies and events.
There are various rooms and chambers to explore in the palace. The exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia presentations provide information about the significance of the Papal Palace in the medieval period.
From the top of the palace, there are panoramic views of the city of Avignon and the surrounding countryside.
Overall, a visit to the Papal Palace in Avignon is a worthwhile investment of time for a lengthy visit.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Its a quite the steep journey however it is worth it once you reach the top. I can not describe just how beautiful and stunning it is when you are there. The view of the city from here is just fantastic. To reach here, I’d suggest to have a walk from vieux port. It’ll be bit of a hiking like and then stairs however it worth because as one climbs up, the view on their back keeps growing into something superb.
Though, there are buses and touristic train available to reach there. You can also take your own car. There’s a parking for them.
The sunset view is worth viewing from here.

Being located in a very high place, you can have an amazing view over all of Marseille. The church is very beautiful and I would recommend to go there to see the sunset. The church does close around 6pm, but then you can still go down the stairs and watch the sunset there.
People told us is wasn't worth walking up there because it took them around 1h climbing and they had to walk on the road not even a nice path, we took the bus 60 from the port which costs 2€ and it takes around 15min. To walk down, we did go by walking because it was only 23min and we didn't have to climb.

Absolutely stunning basilica - and a must-see in Marseille.
I first visited on the Saturday, but because of high winds the entrance to the basilica was closed. I was told I could enter via the crypt, but there was a mass happening and nobody was allowed to enter either the crypt or the basilica.
Luckily I was able to return on Monday (thought I’d give Sunday a miss as there was only a half hour window to visit at 9am due to masses being held throughout the day). I’m so glad I had the time to come back, as the basilica is absolutely stunning. The views from outside are pretty gorgeous too.
Entrance is free, but I’d recommend paying 1€ for the pamphlet at reception - which points out some interesting facts and items to view.
Also, the walk up is hard going - even for the fittest of walkers. I’ve climbed Ben Nevis, so I know what I’m talking about! If the weather is cool then go for it, but when it’s hot…no thanks! You can get the No.60 bus from Vieux-Port (I’d recommend getting on there as the bus does get packed pretty quickly). The journey takes around 10-15 minutes by bus and drops you off directly outside the basilica. It costs 2€, and if by chance you can’t get in because of high winds (or mass) it covers the cost of the trip back down - as long as it’s within an hour of purchase.

Contrary to what visitors might think, Notre Dame de la Garde is not a cathedral but a basilica. Really easy to get to by bus and worth seeing - inside and outside. The view is simply stunning. Beware of pickpockets. But no more dangerous than any other site. This monument of Marseille is located on the highest hill near the Old Port, at an altitude of 150 metres.

Great place to visit .you need a couple of hrs to see it all .plenty of steps to climb .we got the little train up to notre dame .you can take as long as you like walking around .and get a much later train down .there's the sightseeing tour bus that also goes up there .bur much more expensive. And it's not really worth it . Enjoy your visit.we did .

A Catholic basilica with a beautiful Roman/Byzantine architectural style. Inside there were many statues; golden Mary was the most stunning. There was also an outdoor area, giving you a view of the city.

Stunning view of the city and easily accessible via public transport services. Unfortunately the church was closed during our visit but the crypt was open. Definitely a place to go if you visit Marseille.

An absolute must see and go to place when you visit Marseille. While the climb up there at the top is quite tedious and rough, once you get up there, the climb up the stairs is absolutely worth it.
The view from the top is absolutely amazing and absolutely gorgeous. You get a high, perfectly large overview of the whole city of Marseille and everything surrounded it.
The inside of the basilica is also breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. I most definitely recommend visiting this wonderful place.

Pretty cool little place. We walked up from the port, which was quite a walk, but pretty cool to see the city that way. Safe area to walk around in. The view from there was unique and made it a great stop. The boats everywhere in the church was also really unique and interesting. I definitely wouldn’t pay a tour guide if any kind and was glad that admission was free. They charge you to use the restrooms, which was wild to me but maybe that’s normal in this area.

We were staying on the other side of the marina and decided to take a day trip. The hills and stairs are no joke in near 100 degree weather. I got sunburned and we stopped for a quick cafe when we made it up the first round of hill. The walk/hike was WELL worth it the basilique is beautiful as are the views... I highly recommend the trek if you are up for it... I believe there is also a bus that runs every 20 minutes...

The location of the basilica is simply breathtaking, situated atop a hill overlooking the city of Marseille. The panoramic views it offers are absolutely stunning, providing a captivating perspective of the cityscape, the harbor, and the surrounding coastline.
The basilica's architecture is equally remarkable. Its ornate design, featuring a combination of Romanesque and Byzantine elements, adds to its charm and grandeur. The intricate details, vibrant colors, and beautiful mosaics inside the basilica create a truly great atmosphere.

The highlight of the city. It’s not too much of walk to, a little hilly but an enjoyable walk. Amazing views of the city. There also parts of the structure you can pay your respects to the fallen so feels a little nostalgic too. Well worth the visit.

Worth the climb for the spectacular views alone. Fortunately, there are stopping points on the way up the 267 steps. If you're really struggling, you can take a lift from the crypt to the chapel.
Once inside, you will be impressed by the beautiful art.
There is also a shop to buy your souvenirs.

This Basilica is like a lighthouse of Marseille, it is almost always visible when walking in old port or most of the city side.
Apart from the architecture, this natural high point gives stunning view of Marseille in all directions. It’s easy to reach by city bus from old port, and is also covered in most of the city tours.

Not a church person, but an amazing spot with amazing views. So much history and a really important spot in the history of Marseille and to the seafaring tradition of the place.
Get there early...before 10:30am.

Definitely worth the walk up the hill! Beautiful cathedral with beautiful views of the city and the sea. Enjoyed the walk up. There are bathrooms and some vending machines if needed when you get there too. One of the must visits in the city.

Wonderful architecture can be found at this basilica. The views, however, make this a very special place. You can see Marseille in its entirety as well as the sea and local islands. A long steep walk, but absolutely worth it.

Absolutely Breathtaking. Definitely a must see just for the craftsmanship of the inside of the building. It’s great to watch the sunset from here as you get great views from the city. The museum wasn’t open which was a little sad but everything else was great. Bear in mind that you need €0.50 coins to use the toilets here.

Just the walk up the hill. A long way up but totally worth the trip. Better wear your walking shoes. In November, the hill is pretty windy and sunny at the same time.
Beautiful cathedral with breathtaking views of the city and the sea. A must visits in the city.
Just sit by the church stairs and breath in
Facilities: Restroom, gift shop and parking (for groups or personal vehicle)

Really beautiful church and I really like the ship theme. Both the insides and the outside of the church is very nice. The views from the top of the hill around the church are also incredible. And in the winter the amount of tourists were minimal and made the visit very enjoyable.

Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde is a lavish 19th-century icon that's visible from across Marseille. It sits on the remains of a 12th-century chapel and a 16th-century fort. The structure has been used as both a place of worship and a part of the city's defences. Today, locals come to the basilica to pray for or give thanks for safe journeys and recovery from illness.

A tree-lined boulevard in Aix, Cours Mirabeau is celebrated for its restaurants and fountains. It's ideally situated to enjoy the works of Paul Cezannes, as his parents worked on the street in a former hat shop. The wide thoroughfare is popular with shoppers and tourists alike, who can take a stroll to imagine what it was like to walk the same streets as Cezanne himself.
Went there for a walk and found the local market in the area, which closes around 2 pm. Its a changed location when there are stalls. Many places and streets to explore nearby

Beautiful street but on our visit, our group bought little but all were ready! Did not find it reminiscent of Paris fashion district however it is beautiful and found a few interesting items.

Cours Mirabeau is miraculously beautiful with maple trees on either sides keeping shades while you traverse from king Réné’s statue until the rotonde fountain.
Along with king’s statue fountain, there are two other fountain on two crossings on the cours Mirabeau. One is the thermal stream and other one is 9 fountains. The water still comes from Mont St Victoire.
Cours Mirabeau is the most important place of Aix. With lots of stone benches, restaurants, cinema halls, utility shops and street performer; this corridor is an experience in itself.

This is the Aix version of Times Square. Though picturesque, nothing notable lives on the street. The restaurants all looked middling, the shops chains.
The Saturday market was a disappointment as it largely sold cheap clothing. I did hope for more local goods and antiques.

Such a disappointment. Whilst a beautiful place which does come to life when a morning or evening market is around, the place has lost its shine. What was once a stand out street just a few years ago full of authentic Provençal restaus and cafes is now almost entirely faceless and personality-less pizzerias. And sadly not the type you find in Italy! Sub par food, over the odds prices, and poor service

I have lived in this city for 16 years, lovely city and rich in history and culture.
Le Sentier des Ocres, also known as the Ochre Trail, offers two marked paths through a stunning area of red and yellow cliffs in a former ocher pigment quarry. This colorful treat for the eyes is located in the charming town of Roussillon, part of the Luberon region in Provence. The area is accessible by car and is about an hour's drive from Aix en Provence using highway A7.
A short loop walk perfect for all people of abilities and ages! 3€ entrance fee and free for children 10 and under. The bright red landscape is magnificent! We went in December and it had snowed the night before, so the sight was even more amazing! If going in the cooler more wintery months I would recommend wearing snow boots and bring a warm jacket too! After the walk we strolled into Roussillon (literally a 2 min walk) and had a look around the beautiful town. Parking was free when we went, and located right at the entrance of the walk. There are toilets at the carpark which were well looked after and free of charge.

The ocherfields are a nice place to visit if you're in the neighborhood. It is an old mining site where they would mine ocher colored rock. The fields stretch quite far and make for some beautiful landscapes. The nearby town is also worth a visit, as it is very colorful, with all building being made out of or being colored with the stone from the fields. Do keep in mind that the walking routes through the fields are relatively short. These fields are also a big tourist spot, so you'll want to keep that in mind when visiting. If you visit early in the day and outside of the tourist season, you'll probably have a better time enjoying the ocher fields.

A fun trek good for the whole family and dog friendly.
The bathroom was impossible and the parking situation is hectic.
It costs 4 euros for the whole day, so you can leave the car there and go to the town for a walk.

Definitely worth a visit. No wheelchair access. Wear shoes you can wash afterwards. Thus journey through the old ochre quarries is charming and interesting. As opposed to many tourist sites (just because there's just too many of them) this has great signage, kids games and arrows to follow, depending on the difficulty of the trail you have chosen

Gorgeous!! So fun to walk around in nature for a bit. Wear closed toed running shoes to avoid getting the orange sand all in between your toes. It was hot, but there was shade from the trees. Easy hike, but there is a long staircase that you must take to do it. A few local touristy shops at the top sold fun Provence keepsakes & water bottles. There’s also a potable water fountain at the top. Parking was an outdoor lot just before the hike (there were signs) for €3. After the hike, we walked around the town of Roussillon with more unique shops & narrow, red-walled walkways. Definitely recommend adding this to your itinerary!
Zoe Marans — Google review
There are two walks; the longest will probably take 30-40 minutes, I wouldn’t take the shortest one. Expect a few stairs, nothing strenuous though. The soil is sandy and its colour will stay on your shoes a while. We visited the place in June in the second half of the day and that was perfect.
Marcel Molendijk — Google review
This is a really cool place. If you are near, please do not hesitate to visit. The red rocks and soil give almost mars like vibes. Great place to walk around and take awesome photos. It takes around 1,5h to do the bigger circle. Do the big one as the small is almost all forest.
Jacek Głąbica — Google review
Roussillon is my favorite village! I went hiking to the old quarry, I shouldn’t have worn light colored shoes. I had to throw them away afterwards because the stain from the soil won’t come off. The village walk is beautiful, and the view is amazing!

Colorado in Provence as they’re commonly known is indeed a colourful treat to our eyes. The combination of several coloured soil types in one little place accessible by hiking is an interesting experience in itself. Located in the cute town of Roussillon, they’re one of the tourist attractions in the region of Luberon.
The town is pretty cute as well. All houses are coloured with the same local pigments.
One can reach there by car easily. Roughly an hour drive from Aix en Provence using highway A7.
Dedicated parking is available for cars and camping vehicles.
Be aware that reservation required in the month of July and August to visit this place.
There are little lavender fields in the town at a walking distance.
Dont Forget to buy colour pigments if you love to paint. There are many vineyards in this region to explore.
Note: the place becomes really hot in summers so be prepared for such weather and carry a lot fluids and fruits for hiking trail. Hiking trails are well marked (yellow or red).

It was wonderful to travel to this place surrounded by nature like this. The color palette of red was everywhere in this valley, every view had something to give you like a framed painting. The walk itself is not too difficult, but if necessary, it can be divided into a longer (50min) and a shorter (30min) tour. We didn't wait long to enter, there is a nearby car park which allows you to park your car for the whole day at a modest price (€4).

Such an incredibly beautiful place! This might be my favorite spot in Provence. It’s like nothing else in the world. A magical rainbow of natural colors!
I was worried that it might be too crowded, but we arrived around noon on a Friday in early November and had much of the (longer) walk all to ourselves. The path is very interesting and well-maintained. Convenient parking and excellent value.

Its a fun stop and a nice walk around the rocks and learning about the history of ocre. They have two walks and we took the longer one—if you walk at a decent pace you will definitely do it quicker than they say. A nice add on to visiting Roussillon which is definitely worth a stop while wandering the Provence.

Popularly known as Palais des Festivals et des Congres", La Croisette is about 22 km long promenade in Cannes along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea where the Cannes Film Festival is held. There is a sidewalk with hotels, casinos, brand stores, a rose garden and places with lots of shady trees where families meet and spend their quality time. There are interesting places around this place to stroll and explore. If you are falling short of time or do not have energy for a walk, then one can enjoy a small touristic city train tour to explore the nearby area. The place is dynamic with lots of hustle bustle of the tourists and locals. The evening sunsets and the night illuminations and combined with festive fireworks make this place truly romantic and mesmerizing. A must to visit when you are in France.

Lovely park in middle of Nice. Wonderful views of the whole city, the mountains and the ocean with a waterfall feature right below that you can walk up to.
There were archaeological finds and history buffs would appreciate reading the placards. We didn’t explore much around the park though.

Also known as Castle Hill, you have the option to walk up stairs, take a free elevator or apparently take a road train (for €12 I think, but I did not see or use this).
There were amazing views, and a waterfall, as well as some architectural ruins to see. On the day I visited, there were some people dressed up for photos, some zumba near the cafe and some others doing yoga. It was a really hot day so I bought some water at the top (€2 a bottle which was not cheap but very cold!) The cafe also sold many other drinks and there were tables and chairs for patrons as well as areas with benches.
It was very scenic and felt very relaxing, for me definitely worth the climb!

If you're looking for a stellar view of Nice, check out Colline du Château. This place is simply fantastic! It's a prime spot for a bird's-eye view of the city, and the best part is, it's free.
Whether you fancy a climb or prefer a lift, they've got you covered. Plus, the spot is stroller and wheelchair friendly, so it's perfect for everyone.
But that's not all. Once you're up there, there's a pretty garden to chill in and some shops where you can grab a bite or a drink.
We decided to descend via the road, and it led us right back to the old town, Monument, a Giuseppe Garibaldi place, to be exact.
All in all, a must-visit if you're in Nice. It's a five-star experience for me!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are in Nice! You have several options to get up to the mountainside. There is a tram that can take you up; it will cost you about 12€, but it's worth it if you aren't capable of climbing the stairs. You can also drive up; there is parking up there, or you can simply take a taxi or Uber. I decided to take the stairs.

Colline du Château offers a wonderful viewpoint with panoramic vistas of the entire city of Nice. The climb to the top, though a bit steep, is rewarded with breathtaking scenery and a cascading waterfall along the way. After enjoying the views, you can descend on the other side of the mountain, perfect for a leisurely walk. At the hill's summit, you'll find two historic cemeteries to explore—one Jewish and the other Catholic—as well as two panoramic viewpoints offering stunning perspectives of Old Town and the port.

Although the history of this hill can be traced back to the 11th century, there are actually no eye-catching monuments and no historical ruins. The road sign up the hill indicates WC, but it is actually closed, which makes it very inconvenient for tourists. . The reason why it is known as the top tourist attraction in Nice is because, in fact, there is really nothing interesting to see in Nice.
People who come here are looking at Nice Bay and Nice City from the observation deck. But for local residents, this is a good place for a walk, not a special scenic spot.
The mountain is not high. You can climb up the mountain or take the elevator. There are several scenic spots on the way up the mountain with beautiful scenery and delicious food, so I think hiking is the better way.

Incredible view of Turin. Unfortunately, the train that takes you up to the Basilica was not working the day we went (doesn't work on Wednesdays), but there was still a bus which brought us up.
The basilica is free to visit, but you have to pay a small fee per person (I believe it was 7 euro) for the guided visit of the tombs. Note that the day we went, the tour of the bombs was only running from 11:30 to 12:30, so make sure you are there on time. You can buy tickets on-site.
Note: There are toilets - for the men's bathroom it is on the floor, which was weird ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

The drive up to Superga is winding and road is narrow. Be careful.
From the parking lot (which is free), you could see a major part of Torino. The day we went up, it was misty. We could not see far.
Take some time to read the depiction of history behind the existence of Superga. It’s intriguing.
If you want a better view of Torino, climb to the top of Superga dome. Do this if it is a clear day. There is a fee to pay.

Beautiful Basilica above Torino in the Parco di remberance. The views of the city are amazing! The Basilica itself is stunning and has an amazing story behind its construction. Well worth a visit by car or the train that runs from the edge of town.

Worth the trip. Number 15 tram out of Turin then the tram car up the hill. The tram car is brilliant and the views from the top of the Basilica are fantastic.

Amazing church. It is old, beautiful and located in marvelous mountain. It is a great idea to go there in nice weather for a half of the day and get here by the old tram. I also recommend to get up on the roof. The views are absolutely marvelous. And don't forget to get inside the church, as it has beautiful statues and pictures inside.

My personal highlight of my holiday.
Getting to the station was a mare, but the train ride was so lovely.
The Basilica is a beautiful building and so grand. I joined a tour of the tombs (Italian only but the provided English guide sheet was helpful) and it was something else. The stairs to reach the rooftop were tough but the views were worth it.

Very cool church but it was closed when we visited. The memorial to the plane crash with the soccer team was very nice. The views of Turin are spectacular.

Absolutely stunning Basilica which gives you sights all over the City of Turin - it is a 20 minute journey out of Turin and it is only accessible to the terrace by steps but well worth it for the views

This is an amazing spiritual site located in an unbelievable natural setting. It is a historic place of importance in the development of Turin as a city and its independent culture. You will be in awe of the beauty of the church and the artwork inside. There are amazing views of the city and the alps in the distance. It also has hiking trails to see the natural area.

A must visit church if you are in Torino. The little flower shaped stone decorations are cute from a close look but create a majestic tone put together.

Wonderful place to visit using the funicular railway. The Basilica was delightful and beautifully serene inside. The views from the cupula were amazing looking over Torino.

Perched atop a hill overlooking Turin, Basilica di Superga is a breathtaking masterpiece. Visitors are treated to awe-inspiring views of the cityscape and the Alps beyond.

The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest aquarium in Europe and features around 12,000 different species of fish and marine mammals. It's also home to six million litres (1.6m gallons) of water, making it one of the biggest aquariums in the world. The size of some of the tanks is impressive, especially for creatures like dolphins and sharks. Kids will love exploring all the exhibits, from manatees to coral reefs.
Book an early entrance (by 10am) so that there are fewer people so you can enjoy and see exhibits more easily. Price paid is fair. Lots to see. Don't miss the jellyfish and vivarium section. You need to cross to another side. Easily missed as you might think you're done.

Excellent aquarium. The layout and flow offer you different perspectives of the sharks, dolphins and seals at different points. The various world regions and animals are thorough. The location is easy and beautiful. A fun 2-3 hours. Buy tickets online through their official website and be careful of discounted sites.

I visited Genoa on a cruise and went to the aquarium. It was so amazing!!!! I love animals so much and they had some cool and really cute animals. I would highly recommend going here if you ever visit Genoa. Going earlier is definitely better before field trips.

A very nice aquarium with a variety of fish and aquatic animals. It’s worthwhile visiting and you could easily spend a couple of hours if not half a day. If you are with kids, you should plan on spending half a day here as there are plenty to see and will keep the kids interested. The exotic fish and marine life is well kept although one can always argue if the environment they are kept in is truly fair, especially for the marine mammals such as the dolphins and larger fish such as the sharks. The penguins are an added attraction here. You could take a break at the cafe inside the aquarium and spend some time taking in the views from the deck, with the views of the port.

I visited the aquarium with my school and it was a really nice experience. There is an enormous collection of all kind of sea creatures. We also saw penguins, crocodiles and turtles. Obviously there were also scary and strange sharks. Furthermore we were lucky enough to see a dolphin show.
If you plan to visit this place I highly recommend you call them and get your tickets in advanced, because it can get very crowded very fast.

Really great aquarium with beautiful exhibits and wonderful experiences for all ages.
Book tickets in advance. Get there as early as possible if you'd rather not have too overwhelming a crowd.
Not always convenient lifts/enough for strollers and accessibility.

Amazing place. The animals are well looked after, lovely variety of marine life, friendly staff and a great gift assortment with 2 gift shops. Spent roughly 4 hours here and was time well spent. Would definitely recommend

After a quick breakfast, we visited the Aquarium of Genoa. We recommend going early in order to beat the crowds. It’s never that big of a crowd, although any crowd will obstruct your viewing experience. It’s very impressive, their selection. Penguins, piranhas, sturgeon, manatees, seals, dolphins, sharks, chameleons, jellyfish - they’ve got it all. Totally fun for the whole family and very fun to shoot video.

Make sure to buy your ticket before you go, queues out the front can be ridiculously long, and exhibits are crazily busy, especially in school holidays. Amazing array of creatures and sea life, although was wary that some enclosures felt insufficiently deep or wide. Gift shop #sucked.

Wonderful aquarium. Compared to other similar places, this is quite large, the kids were very happy. We stayed about 4 hours (including nice lunch at the terrace with beautiful view over harbour). Price is quite high, but it is a half-day event.

Excellent place to visit - one of the highlights of our train trip around Italy. Kept us very entertained for about 2 hours easily. Perfect for kids but also without. Very interactive and everything is in English and Italian. Everything looks very clean and all animals look in good condition and well cared for. Very good price for what you get. Highly recommended.

Really nice aquarium. My kids were so happy to visit it. Well organised .
Just remember to buy the tickets in advance and to book online your entry time.
It is easy to reach with the car .. plenty of parking in the area.

Very outdated, poorly maintained aquarium with dark lighting and foggy uncleaned glass. Some exhibits were nice, like the Seahorses. Be mindful that the signage directing you to the exhibits is very poor, you do not get a visitor map and there are few signs informing you of the right way to proceed. Especially confusing with the upper and lower levels. After we visited the Penguin enclosure we were brought to a giant white building that had little signs, other than for lockers or bathrooms. There was a big desk that read “Behind The Scenes” and that requires an extra ticket (€8). So we turned back, not even realizing there was another big section of the aquarium after that. Very poor layout and guidance. When we asked about the other exhibits on the pier, they told us to go outside and we will find the Biosphere €5 extra) and other things. That is when we realized there is a Dolphin tank and Tropical Rainforest area… but it was too late. Once you go outside, you can not re-enter. Of course, it’s sad that they keep dolphins in a small tank anyway, so probably better not to see that. And finally, we were surrounded by aggressive migrants forcing us to take bracelets and souvenirs and begging for money along the entire area of the aquarium. From the entrance to the exit. Almost no security around.
Overall, this aquarium should be priced around €15 for the quality of the current experience. After our visit, we felt let down and overcharged. I hope they consider a major renovation to improve the exhibits and signage and consider discontinuing the dolphin shows and instead use the facility to rehabilitate and release injured or abandoned dolphins.

A good price compared to some I've been too. Some animals we never thought we would see so one very happy girlfriend. The tropical pool was incredible. But then some others were rather Barron so felt sorry for them.
But all in a great aquarium and a great aquarium

It's always nice to see what is in the ocean close by. Still think the dolphin tank is small for them. Nice place for kids and adults to visit and understand what beautiful creatures are in de ocean's .
Boccadasse is a primarily residential area that extends from an old fishing village. The houses are painted in soft pastel tones and adorned with green shutters, creating an inviting atmosphere. Along the pebble beach and harbor, one can find ice cream shops and relaxed bars, while local trattorias serve fish dishes and Genoese specialties with outdoor seating available. Visitors can enjoy views of the sea from the terrace near the Church of St. Anthony of Boccadasse.
Travel Agency Bay of Silence offers a chance to explore the less crowded but equally stunning resorts along Liguria's Riviera coastline. Sestri Levante, known for its natural beauty, boasts two famous beaches - Baia delle favole and the iconic Bay of Silence. The latter is a crescent-shaped beach with picturesque houses and cafes lining the shore, making it a perfect spot for families and children. Visitors can also explore ancient palaces perched above cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.

Found this bay on the last morning of our stay in Sestri and had to stop and eat at a little osteria on the beach. It was so lovely and tranquil we ended up staying a lot longer than we had anticipated, but it was well worth it. Definitely worth a visit

His agency handled our unforeseen events with infinite courtesy (plane delayed for hours, child with carsickness).
Perfect cars, always arrived on time, with the correct size seat.
We will certainly use it again.

He handled gracefully when we created some inconveniences for him: our flight was 3 hours late and our toddler was car sick.
The cars were impeccably clean, arrived on time and had the correct baby car seats that we had requested.
We'll certainly use his services again.

(Translated by Google) We bought a trip to Paris for two hoping that everything would go well, everything was perfect until the last day when an asymptomatic positive swab prevented us from returning. Our agency didn't abandon us for a moment, it found us a studio apartment in center, the plane trip was postponed several times, reassured and followed up until your return. I would like to add that Italy prevents you from returning but abandons you there, does not give you instructions on what to do through someone, so we are rightly very worried. Thank you heartily to our agent Rossano.
