Beautiful buildings in beautiful gardens. Well worth spending time to visit and absorb the atmosphere.

The structure has a rather huge and very well taken care of park. Location very close to Thanon Mittraphap and it is very easy to approach by car with enough parking space on the front side. Entrance is free for all. Big interior. Not very crowded on a working day, might have more visitors on weekend. All in all it worths a visit.

Ein toller Tempel. Schlicht, nicht überladen mit Statuen. Aber sehr schön
This is a beautiful and peaceful area, easily worth the drive.
The structure itself is impressive, set amongst scenic lakes and trees. I found the mood to be quiet and reflective while wandering the grounds.
Upon entering the temple, one cannot help but to be immediately impressed by the golden statue. As we progressed inward, the scale became even more apparent. I was also struck by the immaculate state the temple is kept in.
I really enjoyed this visit.

This is second time to be here. The temple is quiet. I visited in December 2021. Less people and people who work at store very polite. I like the unique architecture, weather and orchids.

A beautiful landmark of Buddhist Temple which builded by a famous Thai leading actor Mr. Sorapong Chatree whose recently pass away in March 2022. The temple architectures are mesmerizingly beautiful. It was quite peaceful and quiet when visited during the weekday, but quite crowded during the weekend. This place is worth visiting even for non-buddhism.

I visited this place just before the evening, it was cloudy and temples were closed. But enjoyed the beauty of massive architecture in blue darkness.

Toscana Valley Khao Yai is a picturesque Italian countryside-style destination in Thailand. The town square offers charming cafes, Italian restaurants, bakeries, and wine bars with beautifully decorated settings perfect for photo opportunities. Visitors can enjoy the Club Cuccina cafe and explore the area by renting bicycles near the town square. The place is well-maintained and provides a relaxing atmosphere.
One of the best golf course in Thailand! Very well maintained and fun design to play at
Arno Chang — Google review
We went to Club Cuccina cafe and went around by renting a bicycle (near town square). I ordered green curry, fried pork with herbs (definitely recommend), hamburg with butter rice (this is also *chef kiss*). Toscana Valley is the most worth visiting place at Khao Yai. The place is well maintained and relaxing. The price of renting a bike is 100Bth for 1 hr very affordable BUT don't imagine the track will be smooth. There's many ups and down... really a track for working out..not for sightseeing hehe

Played 25th April 2023.
One of the most beautiful courses I have been to in my short golfing life.😍
The green however was very fast today.
I love the fact that it was uphill and downhill.
My caddy was quite good in directing the line.👍🏾
The course was quite wide.
I died in the bunkers some of them were quite high.😭
I took up the challenge to play on the blue T equivalent and it was tiring.
Weather today was very hot.🔥
The entrance to the club itself was beautiful. The changing rooms were quite small but does what it needs to do.
I do not like one thing about this place but that is not the fault of the course - there were plenty of noisy birds. 🤪
If you like golfing this is one of the places that you have to visit and play.
We also had our lunch here and the prices were quite friendly.

One of a top10 golf course in Thailand of me.
Great condition from tee off, fairway to green. Fairway is wide and soft. Very very well maintenance. Layout is fun. View is magnificent. Green is fast.
Also I play on Monday rainy season which is sport day that price is quite cheap compare with rate in winter.
Would surely play here again when I come to Khao Yai. :)
pöd — Google review
A challenging golf course. Numerous dog-legs and you cannot see a few greens from the tee. Many water to cross. This golf course has a wow factor as it challenges the golfers' skill. Quite an exciting course to play on but it is better if the golfer has a handicap of 24 and below.
The whole golf course is built on an Italian theme. The whole environment makes one feel like you are in Italy. There is a copy of the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Do try the pizza at the restaurant. It was really good.

Slightly far away from the main road of Khaoyai, but is a good place to visit. Tuscany architecture, amazing view and atmosphere. Restaurant was a little bit pricey (for TH price) but okay considering it is a fancy place. Prepare to take a lot of pictures here - better come before the sunset and again, finish after the sunset for best pictures taken

Nice course with lots of hills and lovely weather. Caddy was good, locker was okay. Not much snacks available at the break area.

A big place to spend time, but for 100 baht to get in is so not worth it. The drinks are not good and the cake that won number 1 is plain, nothing special about it. Maybe when the weather is cold and there are flowers, it will be beautiful. But as for now, nothing to reccomend here.

Harborland Terminal 21 Korat has won the hearts of many visitors, including families and kids. The mall is known for its cleanliness and overall perfection, making it a favorite spot for an evening visit. Visitors appreciate the modern ambiance and reasonable prices, especially for food compared to other locations like Chiang Mai. Additionally, the unique "prison" style toilet adds an interesting touch to the experience at this flashy mall.
Very flash mall, good prices too food especially cheaper than Chiang Mai. The new "prison" style toilet its a unique experience on its own!
Vasile Remus Coman — Google review
Please note that many of the good reviews refer to the mall, not the Harbor Land. The price is extremely high for a Thai attraction. We got in a bit cheaper as we entered past 18 p.m. Still, you have to buy no slip socks. You cannot bring your own as they all need to look the same. The children get a bracelet with a color (apparently according to their size). What I did not know at that time: Children are only allowed to use slides and so on according to the color of their bracelet. And most of the stations cannot be used by younger children. Our 4 year old could not use most of the slides!! As I asked to measure again they confirmed less than 100cm (two doctors measured 101cm within less than a month from visiting harbor land). There is a lot of staff, but almost no one speaks English. The staff is very friendly. Would never go there again - particularly at this price point.
Alexander Eck — Google review
I felt like I’ve been ripped off!!!! On top of high entrance fees they made us buy their socks although i brought my own anti slip socks for kids and on top of that , despite of me saying that I will be sitting at the waiting area they made me buy the socks as well which made me really angry! I didn’t have a choice as I promised kids to take them there otherwise I would happily just walked away !!! Also - why charge the parents if we don’t use playing facilities???!!! We go there and we spend our money on buying drinks and snacks from their coffee shops!!!!!! Just disgusting!!! The day was spoiled for me! I won’t be bringing my kids there again!!!!
Luda Lunn — Google review
Now they force you to wear their socks. For the kids I have them already but also parents who just sit and wait have to wear them.

Thao Suranari Monument, also known as Ya Mo Memorial Park, is a beautifully maintained and historically significant site in Nakornratchasima province. The central square features an impressive statue of Khun Ying Mo, a legendary heroine who played a crucial role in liberating the country from invaders. Ornate gates and a long reflecting pool enhance the atmosphere of the park, making it an ideal location for family outings or romantic dates.
Nice feel, festive during Ya Mo fest ....enjoyed strolling and tasting the street food.

I Would you recommend dont miss this great place if you visit in Nakornratchasima province.🗽

A nice tourist area but please walk carefully as many holes and trip hazards on the walkway ( check my photo of the wheelchair ramp 😂) - don't even try to cross the road as it's a really dangerous thing to try - pedestrian crossings are just paint on the roads that nobody stops for - ever 😮
Some great local shops and coffee shops/ restaurants in this area 👌

Interesting monument. It will be very crowded since it fits right on the street. Parking is almost difficult to do it's better to use a taxi to the monument and dropping you off and picking you up after you finish business way with Ya Mo.
Everyone who travel to this city should go there pay the respect to Thao suranari monument for you blessful life, I recommend, at least one time of your whole life.

Jim Thompson Farm is an ideal destination for families, showcasing picturesque flower fields that are meticulously landscaped. Visitors can also witness demonstrations of silk production and explore a charming Isaan-style village, which provides a glimpse into traditional Thai culture. The farm offers plenty of engaging activities to keep both adults and children entertained all day long. If you're someone who loves Instagram-worthy locations, this place is definitely worth a visit.
This farm is amazing. Not only beautiful flowers and rice fields you can take photos with, you can also learn the way of life of Northeastern 'Esan' Thai people. This place exhibits about the Thai rices and silks. You can learn the silkworm's circle of life and how people got the silk thread from the silkworm's cocoons.

5 stars for this beautiful farm and amazing silk. 1 star for double standard in pricing rule and charge triple entry price for foriners. I found it very disappointing and discriminatory. Jim Thompson company has a global presence and should avoid this kind of practice

Here is the place where you can take your time, feel the breeze , smell the scent of flowers blossom. Beautiful and perfect place to take pictures with flowers.
There are trams offering shuttle services between zones.
It only opens for one month a year, which is in December for tourists.
Overall a pleasant experience and really enjoyable.

A very nice place to visit as a couple or family. Lots of flowers and pretty scenery. There's a tram ride that takes you around the farm. You can get off the tram to take a picture and catch the next tram. Food inside the farm is very very expensive. I recommend getting lunch and snacks at the entrance. The ticket to get in is kinda pricey.

Nothing much here to explore. Stack of pumpkin hill for people to take photo.
Area very big, need shuttle bus from point to point.
There is no queue system for the shuttle bus, everyone will need to run and rush, saw family with elderly got hard time to get into the shuttle bus.

Big area to walk. We come in the morning around 11am and find that the place is a little too hot to enjoy walking around. There is quite a lots of variety of flower and plants in the farm but feels a little too artificial to be a real farm. More like a tourist attraction.

I'll never travel to Siem Reap without this trip planner again
Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo, also known as Korat Zoo, is a spacious 218-acre zoo that houses a wide variety of African animals. In addition to the animals, visitors can explore the reptile house and children's zoo while enjoying the beautiful gardens. The zoo also features a water park for those looking to cool off in the hot weather. Guests have several transportation options available to them including renting bikes or golf carts or taking a bus tour around the zoo.
A lot of animals, good for children taking studying animal life.
Torpong Chiamtawongse — Google review
Good for a family visit, easy to navigate, and the animals appeared in good health. Enclosures were large for most animals, which was a relief to see, as animal welfare should be a priority at any zoo. The signage is in the native language, so not as foreign tourist friendly in that regard.
Micheal Linke — Google review
Very big zoo you can rent golf car or a bicycle and go around see everything
Boss of fun. — Google review
We visit with family every time
We are in thailand. They have quite a few animals. We usually rent the golf cart for us elders and bikes for the children to ride. They also have a giant water park with slides and a shallow canal for the. Golden to play in. Prices are reasonable and food is available.
Jeff Gore — Google review
the zoo is quite big, and there are lot of different kind of animals and game, you can ride bicycle, drive golf car or take the tour bus inside
Chan Ricky — Google review
It is the zoo with the largest number of animals in Thailand. It has a water park and bicycles and golf carts for rent.
?????????? ?????????? — Google review
There are many animals and it is very spacious. There is a water park and there are small stores along the way when you look at all the animals. You can rent bikes and golf cart to ride in the zoo or you can buy tickets to go on the bus that will take you around the zoo. :)
apichart wijittunukool — Google review
A nice place to visit for a quick getaway from urban life. Most of the animals are housed in spacious enclosures instead of cages, with some enclosures allowing animals (like giraffes) to get close to the edge and interact with people. It's a bit more of an "open concept" concept" design compared to some other zoos around the world. Entry tickets are also quite affordable.
You can either make your way through the zoo on foot, rent a bicycle or rent a golf cart that accomodates a max of 4 people (driving license required for golf cart).
Do take note that there are very few sheltered areas, so you won't be able to escape the hot sun most of the time. Bring an umbrella in case it rains!
Russell Tan — Google review
I've been to this zoo twice before but my holidaying visitors wanted to go so off we went
I am an Englishman with a Thai ID card and as I greeted the gate staff politely 🙏I was allowed to enter for Thai price 👍
I must say some improvements have been made especially to the toilets so a good start
We hire a golf buggy for 3 hours for 500baht and I'm sure that price has dropped 🙄
2 hours is not long enough but we had other plans later in the day
We watched the Tigers being fed and my family fed the giraffes and deer so they were happy
All in all a very nice few hours that could have stretched to 4 hrs easily
Worth a visit for sure 🙏
Leigh Cowen — Google review
This zoo is a nice vacation spot especially for a family with young children who enjoy nature. The zoo is nicely spread out. If you love walking, it is enjoyable on foot, but with small children, you may want to use a stroller, or rent a bicycle to help you get around (from 20-70 bhat per bike depending on the type of bike you choose.) The zoo tram is another good option for getting around. It costs 20 bhat or less per person. They also have gulf carts you can rent, but those are 300 bhat per hour.
The seal show is enjoyable. It shows at 11 am and 2 pm. The trainers work very well with the animals. They also show a few others to start out. My kids (ages 3 and 5) both love the show!
If you are interested in learning about the snakes of the area, there is a nice display in air conditioning with many area snakes. It is a nice reprieve from the heat. These are right across from the seal show.
Monkeys are in natural areas with motes separating them from passers by. It is a nice, more natural setting.
There are also the normal animals at the zoo, lions, tigers, sun bears, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodile and kangaroos to name a few.
If you come in early July, you may be able to find some peacock feathers.
Jephthae Oren Calkins Campbell — Google review
Very nice spacious zoo. Paid Thai people price for tickets (we are not Thai), but the dual pricing is advertised on the ticket booth. We got there on a rainy afternoon, the place was quiet and breathy, enjoyed the weather a lot.
Renting a golf cart recommended (300 baht per hour). Tram and bicycles are available too.
Animals are well-kept, although some seemed a bit lonely. I hope the gorgeous African elephant will get a mate.
Antonina Shvetsova — Google review
Great zoo! My daughter and I had alot of fun here. Rented a bike and cycled all over. Not like western zoos were everything is so strict! Were deer all over the place and the distance to the animals is much closer because there aren't as many fences between you and the animals. I really enjoyed this. Saw the seal performance as well, that was also interesting. You can get here for 8 bhat if you use the transport from kohert. Was crazy to only pay 8 bhat for the entire way..
Flora Park, located in Wang Nam Khiao, is a serene floral garden featuring vibrant flower beds and well-maintained shrubs. Visitors can explore eight different zones housing over 400 plant varieties by hopping on a shuttle bus. However, it's advisable to be prepared for potential traffic and hot weather with hats and other essentials. The park offers a pleasant way to spend time surrounded by beautiful flowers and open spaces.
Nice flower garden with an observation deck.
The deck has a "mini teamLab" room for a little fun.
There is also a rose garden at the back with a shuttle bus run every hour.
Recommend to go in the late afternoon because it was too hot even in Feb.
Restaurant and cafe on site are pretty good and reasonable price.

This is a very nice place. We went in January and the prices went down already. 150 for adult and 100 THB for kids (I think 90/100cm to 130cm) and people over 60.
There is a shuttle bus to the Rose Garden which is also very nice.

Beautiful flowers. Should visit.
Note:
- prepare yourself ready such as toilet, food, drinks. Sometime it has terrible traffic while you are stuck on the road in the middle of nowhere.
- hat: it’s hot and strong sun there after open hours.
- avoid to go there during raining season
- dust from soil road, mainly the zone is not cemented so dust from the ground mixing in the strong winds would make you feel dusty on your face and clothes.

A well maintained place to view and admire flowers. Nothing but lots of flowers. There are some shops selling food at inflated prices. This place is about 2 hours from Khao Yai main town. So plan your trip and avoid driving at night due to no street lights form some parts of the journey.

nice place, pleasant way to spend a few hours with some flowers and open space. the drive in the foothills is nice as well.
not too expensive 100 baht, a few souvenirs available as well as orchids available to purchase.
they have a nice displays to walk thru. seperate they have the rose garden with a pond and orchids for display and purchase. this area seems newer and has signs of ongoing expansion.
would like to see more expansion. something along idea of several 10-20 rai area each set up with classic themes. Japanese koi pond and garden, English rose, Italian med, French vineyard ect
such as the rose garden and pond could be done in classic English rose garden style with walkway to display the roses, border hedges of boxwood, use a classic geometric design of a rectangle divided in rose quarters, center fountain ect.
a Japanese style garden with a Koi pond would it's own destination. could do walkway bridges thru the pond to both view koi as well as show Japanese architecture, add Japanese maples, bonsai
if they did 8 or 10 areas it would be more of a destination than just a pleasant afternoon.
if staying for a weekend there is the national park close, korat zoo and several temples to see.

Really not much to see over here. Maybe the Buddha footprints got a long history but the place is not well maintained. What you can learn over there is, where the air pollution in Pratchinburi is coming from. The gardeners at the site are doing there part to it.

This national park is easy to get to with a well-paved road. There is a 30Baht entrance fee. We were here on after the rain had stopped and no one was there. We were fortunate to see the sea of fog after spending about 20 mins into gazing out into the valley. Let's just say it has the perfect weather to chill and relax with a cup of coffee or camp out in their designated area. The campground is very quiet complimted with birds/insects chirping and wind rustling against the trees. A perfect place for nature lover, though we were warned that this side of the mountain is the habitat for Tigers.

Despite the current situation due to Covid-19 resulting in some outlets being closed, it remains a great place to rest and take photos upon check-in. The hotel rooms are spacious and include large bathtubs for added comfort.
This is a great convenient place to take a rest and take photo check-in in here, the hotel room in here is great with big bathtub, you can find "RC enjoy life" for more videos in here, enjoy life together

This is a great location with a reconstruction of Veronese buildings. Very picturesque and photogenic. It’s currently looking a bit run down with many outlets closed due to the Covid situation. Hopefully this is just temporary. Still worth a stop 😊

Nothing much to do here. Everything has a fee, even a decent bathroom. The workers inside are nice, but the place itself isn't interesting.

Wow!
Amazing Place.
Excellent location among mountains and on the main road.
Made in European style.
Once you are here, you can not go away from this place.
Kids will love this place.
This place has everything in it.
Beautiful lake, Bridge, light house, shopping center, gas station.
What you need more for small holiday?
This place will make you feel that you are in a countryside of Europe..

Some people might find this place interesting but during query times there are few visitors and very little to attract them to pay the modest entrance fee to enter and have a look.
The grounds are quite nice but not particularly well maintained. Once you're inside the staff will try to get you to our your hand in your pocket to try some of their activities.
There are apparently concerts or performances on occasion that attract quite a large crowd.

This is a perfect place for photo shooting. The decoration is lovely and mimic from various cities in Italy.
Not many choices of restaurants and shops, it looks like all the small biz here cannot survive.
As a traveler, I do want to see more local shops and their products - so I could support them and have a sustainable economic in the community level.

Many shops are closed. Dirty and unpleasant place. Very disappointed staying overnight here as the room is quite in bad condition, very noisy. Hotel managed to put the group tour party in the residential zone. Party creates loud sounds until 11pm. No nature here, very nightmare to our family. Will never ever comeback again.

Great hidden Gem of a place and if its natural attractions and no gimmicks and Tee shirts etc for sale This is the place to come :)
I drove all the way to it as i just followed Google Maps and it took me exactly to the Buetififul site of Natural Rock Formations :)
I was absolutely amazed by the place ..Cant wait to take the Family ..
Dont go at night as for your you are likely to fall in a natural Pothole ,)
So if you want to see Thsilands Grand Canyon , then its here BUT dont expect the Grand part ,)Though i loved it as it as its off the beaten path and was great seeing the locals go about their everyday life :)
Make sure your mobile or camera has plenty of charge and a bottle of water is handy as no shops or stalls here YET :)

Unusual geomorphology landscape but beautiful in its own way. You got to use the local service cart ( e-taek ) to go in the place. Paid 250 baht for round trip. Stay safe by grabbing a bottle of water with you.
Kiatkorn Panyavuddhiwongg — Google review
Amazing place with amazing scenery. We were there with family and friends and we really enjoyed it. We have not seen anything like this before. I recommend bringing water and hats with you. The cost of a walk-behind tractor is 300 baht. I recommend this place to visit.
Русич Паттайя — Google review
An interesting geological formations. Life hack: you do not need to pay 200 baht for a local tractor to reach the destination but rather park your car and walk about 10 minutes for free.
Eugene Gorny — Google review
Warning!!! Should read overall reviews before driving to this destination. This place was part of my road trip plans. I didn't read the review, just attracted to beautiful pictures. This is private property. You can't drive to the site. You have to park here and took those vehicles which attached in my review. I had a lot of stuff in my car and look around my sentiment said NO. After read the reviews some times changed for 500 or 300 seems depend on the mood of drivers. I personally didn't like this kinda things. If it let me drive to the site pay fix price 300-500 baht,I would happy to pay for it. For my own safety, at the time of arrival nobody there how could I know if anything happen a long the way. Skipped it.
APC SSP — Google review
Smaller than expected. It's a community maintained area so it receives no funding from the central government. I came during the afternoon so it was blazing hot. Better to come in the evening or late afternoon. You can rent a car for 200 baht (300 baht) from the visitor center. It can fit up to 6 ppl. Alternatively, I bargained to park my car in the temple and walk in there myself for 50 baht.
Anuk Yingrotetarakul — Google review
Cool mud hoodoos that are definitely worth checking out. Since they are mud, they won't be around for too much longer.
Have to park your car at the main visitor center and rent a modified tractor to tour. Cost is 200 baht for the tractor. Pretty good signage once you get to find your way here.
Greg Wang — Google review
Ok so there is a lot of sand and there is cool formation but after a few photos it is just sand. Many years ago you could just drive here and nobody cared now they "claim" it is on private land and they charge you 200 THB and you can not go inside with your own car. We did since the signs were in Thai and when he said we have to pay 500 thb for driving inside i just told him what and drove away. I do not like when locals trying to claim ownership of something and take a big fee. If its there land ok but i doubt it very much.
Neo LothongKum — Google review
Thailand "rock formation", it is actually the stack of clay soil that slowly caused by water (rain) erosion. The structure may change year by year. To visit the site, tourist should go by the local tractor drive by villager who know exactly where is save, otherwise some area may risk to collapse. It is really funny activity and worth to do once.
sumpun Thammacharoen — Google review
An interesting geological place.....lots of unusual rock structures, quite intricate and beautiful to look at.
However it is quite a small area and once you've seen it, you've seen it.
Worth a look if you are in the area but I would not recommend driving hundreds of kilometres just to see it.

Golden Gate Plaza is a vibrant marketplace that showcases an array of clothing and handicrafts stalls, along with street food vendors. It's a bustling night market where shoppers need to possess excellent bargaining skills to land deals on their purchases. With its massive size, the market can take hours to explore fully, and visitors can find an impressive selection of items to buy.
Come here monthly, good place to shop, brought lots of sports kit and pyjamas today. Next time fishing kit

If you are looking for second hand clothes, brand name handbag, original or copy clothes/shoes, machinary and toy, this is the place. Not worth going just to buy few items but if you need to buy a lot or just on the way to or out of Cambodia, great place to stop by at least couple of hours. Better take a bus from Ekamai bus terminal or Lumpini Park.

Golden Gate Plaza Thailand border is so much cheaper than buying in Poipet or the country Cambodia itself. I save a lot of money buying there and a lot of Khmer merchants who have their own stores in Cambodia would buy whatever they need in stocks at a discount rate and sale them in Cambodia for a huge profit. If anyone of you want to save money, shop in Thailand either at the Golden Gate Plaza or somewhere else in Thailand, you will save lots of money. Here in Cambodia, it is the land where one get scammed, get rip off, lied to. Khmer merchants will lied through their teeth and raise the price of whatever you want to buy. Very dishonest. Go to Golden Gate Plaza.

2. HAND HEAVEN
To call Rong Kluea market anything else would not be fair. I do not know where all the 2. clothes come from originally.
I was told that the majority of the seller's which is from Cambodia bring all the products they are selling them from Cambodia. The goods are brought to the market from Cambodia on big hand-pulled carts.
The products are mostly 2. hand clothes mixed with some new copy products.
The 2. hand clothes look like is origins from the west, how it end up at a border market in Thailand's one can only wonder about.
The market is supplying most of the 2. hand clothes shops around Thailand. When you look at the license plates at the cars at the parking lots you see cars from all over Thailand.

Normally it is very hot here but today was,an exception..Be careful of the touts ,starting off with copy sun glasses, and beware what comes next .....The Cheap Viggarrette Scam that is all a set up eith the sellers, the police and the tax office .....don't say I haven't warned you...
The Market though is well worth at least 2 hours and minimarts, atms, bike and buggy rental ,do a great place for a day's out with the family .Or in my case ,by my self on this occasion,)

Prasat Sdok Kok Thom is a remarkably preserved stone Khmer-style Hindu temple from the 11th century CE, located in Thailand. This historical landmark is the top site for historical parks in Thailand and boasts tourist signage, maps, information clearly marked, ample parking space, helpful staff, clean modern toilets and well-maintained buildings and grounds with shady areas. Best of all - there are no tourist charges to visit this non-commercial park!
Avery well maintained historic park. There is plenty of parking and nice clean restrooms. There was no entry fee on the day I went. The main structure was a marvel to look at even if parts were restored. This is not a very big site so it’s easy to see everything in less than a hour.

The Ek Phnom Pagoda is an intriguing site located behind a new and ornate modern pagoda. The temple, dating back to the 11th century, is in ruins but still standing with the help of wooden scaffolds. Despite its current state, it holds a certain romantic charm that is enhanced by its lack of tourists during July 2020. Upon arrival, visitors may overlook the massive sitting Buddha statue situated behind a large tree until reaching the parking area.
Some carving still perfect. it us most ruined.
it is built for a state reforming center at 11th century, the khmer empire

It's an interesting place. It's located behind a beautiful new pagoda. If you're coming from Battambang city centre, you will probably miss the huge Buddha until you go into the parking area - the statue is right behind a huge tree. Ek Phnom is a ruin, held up by wooden scaffolds. It's actually quite romantic... and at this time it's virtually tourist free (July 2020)

A nice small temple. Good to stroll around and take some photos. There were not any tourists besides us on this site. Entrance is $1 and going around takes around 15-20 minutes.
Nextdoor one can find a large statue of a buddha.

Not worth the ride
It's a at least 20 to 25 minutes ride from the city center. What you will find is just another old Pagode Ruin
Really nothing special or something to notify.
More like a walk in a park.

Probably a really cool tempel, if we were allowed to just go in it. We were greeted and they immediately wanted money of us for entree. After asking if the locals also need to pay, they said no. When I asked them to explain why they didn't have an answer for us. We just headed back because we didn't want to deal with being treated different because of our origin.
Bat Cave Phnom Sampov is a must-see destination in Battambang. Locals have set up tables and chairs for visitors to enjoy the spectacular view of bats flying out of the cave between 5:30 to 6 pm, while sipping on refreshing drinks. Nearby, there's a temple and killing cave that are worth visiting before witnessing the bat flight.
Very nice cave. They are not lying ! The bats are coming out between 5:30and 6:00pm
Amazing to witness. I recommend to go and read the sign in front which is very instructive.

An amazing experience, highly recommend visiting. We arrived at 17:00, entrance is $1 and then drinks are on average $1 - you will need to buy something to take a seat to wait or can stand for free.
The bats came out of the cave at about 17:35 and this lasted for around 1 hour! I think about a million bats came out which is incredible!
There are also lots of monkeys around, all friendly and no bother! Lots of local people feeding them.

A must see while staying in Battambang. Great location and the bats come out between 5:30 to 6 pm. The locals even placed a table and chairs for us to see it better and we could enjoy a refreshing drink. If you want to go see the bats, only a couple of minutes there is a temple and the killing cave. We can definitely recommend these before seeing the bats fly. The view is spectacular from the temple on the hill. You can either walk up or take a motorbike for 1$

The bat cave was absolutely incredible! We booked this as part of a package from trip advisor and had an absolute fantastic time. It is impressive how the bats move and something worth observing.
There were also some locals selling coconut and rice snacks which are delicious.

Amazing experience witnessing nature do it’s thing. You’ve got all the tourists sat along a line in front of the cave (I’m guessing at the same time everyday), the bats come out at around 5:30-5:40pm everyday, would recommend anybody travelling Battambang to see this natural beauty.

3. Sunset View
4. Local living and pagoda

Highly recommend, a sight to experience. The bats usually leaves the cave to Tonle Sap River between 5:30pm - 6:30pm and would return at dawn. A car cost of entry is $1.25. The edged in Buddha were spectacular. There is is also a temple right on top of the mountain.
Dave Lim — Google review
Great place to see the 6.5 million bats leave the cave at sunset. I would definitely recommend, if on a scooter/moped, to follow the direction of the bats back to the entrance as they fly above you in wave like patterns (like in the videos).
Free entry, if you want to sit at the tables and chairs just buy a drink $1-$3.
Jordan Coombes — Google review
Unfortunately due to time constraints, we couldn't stay until the time for the bat flies out of the cave, however the view was nice from afar. There are a chair arranged for tourists or visitors to wait. And you can try the local snacks waiting to be served anytime.
There are newly built statues of Buddhas from the rock of the mountain itself.

A very unique experience in the evening with millions of bats flying out. You can take a seat and order some beer and snacks while enjoying this too.I would also recommend reading the sign there to know a little bit more about the place. Overall a really good way to end the day in the province.
Souvik Biswas — Google review
Waited for quite sometime for the bats to emerge and by the time they did it was too dark to see them. Not the bat's fault of course but I couldn't help thinking that the number of people and noise may be putting them off coming out. Interesting all the same.

This was exactly the way people describe it. Very unique experience. Millions of bats flying out of the cave.
It’s free but if you want to sit down you have to buy a drink.
The bats started coming out at 17.15. It took about 30 minutes for all of them to get out.
Henna Kuusisto — Google review
I don’t think it can be understated how many bats there are.
Also, the caves and temples up top are well worth it. You can drive if you have a moto and save an hour of calf tearing stair climbing.

An amazing experience to see millions of bats leaving the cave at sunset. Once they start flying out, more and more come for about 30 minutes!
The downside is that you have to buy a drink to sit on the chairs laid out by the locals and they aren’t too friendly about it but a beer only costs around $2 so it wasn’t too bad.

This is the highlight of a tour to Phnom Sanpow. The locals have everything set up nicely so you can enjoy the show in comfort. Get there early for a front row seat, and you can enjoy a bit of barbecued chicken and a cold beer while you wait for the bats to do their thing. The bats, and there's millions of them, will start appearing at around 6.15 pm.
Safe travels,

Battambang Crocodile Farm is a secure environment where visitors can get up close with crocodiles of various sizes. The farm even has baby crocs that children can touch and feel their skin. A girl was thrilled to catch one in her hands and learned not to scare animals unnecessarily. While it's important to be aware of the danger of approaching large crocs, this well-organized farm offers an entertaining and educational experience for everyone.
Got what we came for, saw lot of crocs l, all looked healthy and well fed. Had mixed feeling about owners but in the end there wasn't anything totally wrong. Animals seemed well and we got what we came for for very little price 2$.

I visited as a part of a tour and I enjoyed my time there.
You can get on top of a tall wall and walk on the wall watching the crocodiles down there.
However, there is not safety net or fence. I see a bit of a safety risk.
You can also pose for a photo, with a baby crocodile in your hand.
Thilina Dilshan — Google review
An interesting experience to see how they keep and grow crocs for commercial sale. Elevated walkways had me slightly worried about toppling over the handrails into the enclosures, and wondering if the larger specimens could actually climb up. Not a huge place and I had finished in 10 minutes.

A very well laid out productive crocodile farm.
You will see crocs of all ages and will be allowed to hold one a few days old.

Evil, cruel destination. Treated terribly the crocodiles. Severe animal cruelty for food and handbags. How this place exists in the 21st century is beyond me. Like going back 200 years in time. An absolutely shameful place in Cambodia. AVOID!
Robin Jepson — Google review
Took the kids here today and had the place to ourselves. Was concerned after reading other reviews that the owners English wasn't great.... But had no issues in communication. Plenty of crocs! Even got to hold some babies. So cheap for such a hands on experience. Would definitely recommend
monique VASCHETTY — Google review
The only good experience was holding a baby crocodile. The rest is more sad then anything. So many large crocodiles kept in small enclosures with very dirty water. There was even one dead one bloated and upside down floating in the water.
Another disappointing main attraction in battambang.
J F — Google review
This place is mental, when we arrived we didn't expect this many crocs. Being this close to them and feeling as frightened as we were haha, super fun! $2 entree, $3 if you want to hold a baby croc. Only downside is that you're not really able to communicate with the owners so any questions you have can't be answered. Overall a really fun experience :)
Bryan Janson — Google review
It’s a safe place for Crocodiles tour in a close range. They have all different sizes who lay everywhere.
They even have a baby crocs for the small children to touch and feel the skin. My daughter was allowed to catch one of them in her hands and she was so proud of it after all.
It’s important to let her know the danger of getting close to the big croc, but at the mean time, she learned not to scare things while it’s not necessary.
If you are in Battambang, I suggest you should go and see them yourself.
Jenny Sophorn — Google review
Amazing seeing so many crocs and being so close to them. From babies to fully grown adults, was definitely an experience and all for just $2.
Delta Romeo — Google review
I honestly don’t understand how people give such a place good ratings. This is an absolute nightmare regarding animal welfare. And all the photos here show the crocodiles with cut off tails.
Ever wondered for what these crocodiles are raised there under these circumstances?
Please, don’t contribute to this.
Alexandra Emilia Müller — Google review
Wow so many crocodiles and you get to hold a baby one. Had a lovely thrilling time for $2. You also get to walk around on yourself but there's a lot of sections with only one side of the rail so not for children or anyone with balance problems. Family run so she will answer any questions, she has children and chickens so if you all don't want to go in you can wait behind with them and just look at the baby crocs in a bucket :)

An actual farm chargjng a $2 entrance fee, not a tourist attraction. Be aware the pens are accessed by concrete walkways above the crocodiles with a rope seperating you from a fall... hang on to your kids! I enjoyed it
We took the ferry from Siem Reap to Battambang. A very nice way (but not very comfortable) to combine transport and sightseeing. It toon us 6.5 hours. Mostly cruising the river with the busy life of the floating villages and friendly waving locals. The boat does look different than on the website😏. It is very noisy so take earplugs. There is a simple toilet and they stop at a floating shop half way for 20 minutes if you fancy fried Rice.. ticket 30 usd and sometimes they can puck you up at your hotel.

Do NOT take this boat !
I with 18 other poor tourists ( some of a mature age) after the boat broke down over half way on the trip as it struggled to get through very shallow water ( some people got out and tried to push it away from the muddy banks.
We where thrown off the boat in the heat and had to walk for over an hour and a half through fields, carrying out luggage! Some elderly people clearly couldn't manage, younger passengers helped.
We were finally met by a couple of beaten ups taxis, which were extremely grateful. It was a horrendous ordeal! We weren't offered any water or any compensation or acknowledgement of what we had been through!
At $30 per person, 18 on the boat.... do the maths! Someone is taking the p*** big time.
I'm only grateful that I survived it!
12 hours later I arrived at my hotel!

It really is fraude! Bought sleeping bus from Siem Reap to Bkk which was meant to leave at 2am and arrive at 10am. At 2am a sleeping bus came to pick us up, but it was only for 3h, it then dropped us to the border 30 minutes before the boarder check was even open. 1 hour later, after all the passport check was done we had to look for the same company ok the other side of the border to get us to bkk as the sleeping bus was long gone. We then ended up in a little bus to bkk which was anything but what we paid for.
Sleepless night and poor service! Hope you read this before booking anything with them.

Echo what everyone else has said. Wish I read these before travelling. It too us 11 hours door to door between BB and SR and cost $30 for first transfer and boat trip. They dropped us off 39 minutes away from SR and we had to take the tuk tuks available. They started at $8 each but when we complained dropped to $6 each. Just be aware before you book. It is a long and uncomfortable trip. The scenery is lovely but only for the first couple of hours. Then it becomess boring.
Mary Clarkson — Google review
The boat is different than that pictures on promotional material. The boat trip is very long, uncomfortable, and loud.
Bring some cushions to put on the seats, and also ear plugs to dampen the sound of the engine.
The trip was an experience, but it's not a viable form of transport if you are assessing pure practicality.
Michael Stokes — Google review
Attention fraud! you get thrown off the boat 20km from Siem Reap in no man's land. Everything arranged. tuk tuk drivers are waiting on site and charge $5 per person to be taken to Siem reap. there are no other ways to get there. There is also no internet to call a vehicle with the Pass app. The boat it also not the same like on the picture.

It was a good way of getting close to the floating villages AND getting from Siem Reap to Battambang. It took us close to 9h in end of February 2020 due to dry season and we couldn't reach Battambang but stopped before it. No aircondition but airstream from boat speed (23km/h max). Boat had sun roof and a small hole-in-the-flor toilet. No drinks provided on board.
If you are looking for "local-kind-of-adventure" this is EXACTLY your thing. If not go by bus.
Startet at ~7am in Siem Reap by getting picked up at the hotel with a pick up truck (with what else?! 😁😁 )
Drove probably 40min to an harbor outside of Siem (at Siem Reap River). Went over the TonleSap to Sangker River. Lots of floating villages on this riverside. Nice to watch. 👍😎
Had "lunch" at 12 in boat stop. You might want to bring your own lunch.
After the lunch break the rivers gotten thiner and driving was not easy anymore. Jurney got a bit boring.
Reached a place close to Battambang finally at ~4pm. There a tuktuk has to be taken and paid to get to your hotel (paid 5$).

For me it is fraud!
I bought tickets from Battambang to Siem Reap. But, the driver stopped about 20km before Siem Reap, everyone had to get out and walk to the already waiting tuk tuks. For an inflated price you have to be driven into town for another $5. So in total I paid 35 euros for 6,5 hours on a small boat on which you can not move, with a short stopover and with fraud later.

Can only echo what other reviewers are saying! The journey itself was really enjoyable and felt like a good adventure - would rate that part 5 stars (other than the fact your bum gets quite sore as the seats are not well padded). However it was already a pricey mode of transport at $30 each, but we decided worth a punt for the fun factor, but then when the boat rocks up 45 minutes away from Siem Reap and you find out the tuk tuks are all charging the same amount - $8 per person - and no more than 2-3 people allowed in one tuk tuk ‘because of the weight with your luggage’! You’re stuffed as there is no internet or signal so you have no choice but to cough up - a sorry sting at the end of a fun day, a real shame. If we had been told in advance by our hotel, we could have at least tried to make an informed decision but it felt like a deliberate ploy. Overall the journey took 8 hours by boat, 9 including the tuk tuk part at the end.
I am in love with prayers at this beautiful pagoda in the CharmingOldTown where there much peaceful life time and precious moments, especially Khmer New year which is permitted to celebrate after previous consecutive years of the pandamic time.

Cool temple but not much there really. We visited and it was very quiet and couldn’t go inside from what it seemed. However it is still interesting and if you have time it is a nice walk through the town to get there, especially if you are alongside the river

Damrey Sor Pagoda, also known as the White Elephant Pagoda, is a beautiful and historic Buddhist pagoda located in the heart of Battambang, Cambodia. The pagoda is home to a number of impressive art pieces and statues, and it is also a popular spot for students from the nearby school. The pagoda is located just a short walk from the Battambang Provincial Museum, making it a great place to visit as part of a day trip to the city. it's Open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Free to visit.

One of my favorite pagoda/temple complexes in Battambang. It is a quiet oasis near the centre of the city. It features a variety of unique statuary, some quite obvious in meaning, and others based on stories of which I am unaware. In the monks' housing area, there is a very nice drink shop and garden/cemetery area. The entrance of the Angkor Comfort Hotel side is especially impressive with a stupa built in almost lego-block style and a hidden area of statuary among jackfruit trees.
The perfect temple complex for exploration and photo taking in the downtown area.

This is the place where the knowledge, morality have been shared. I have been spending my life studying and plan to study until I become old. Never tired of learning in the pagoda. Monks, teacher, and the surrounding environment make me unforgettable memories, though the time change.
In terms of, sculpture on the pagoda, it has been stand for more than a decade and be considered as the ancient temple in Battambang as well as a tourist destination.
Romcheik 5 Artspace & Café is a top independent art space in South East Asia, established by a group of young artists. The Tep Kao Sol gallery offers original watercolors by Cambodian artists, while upstairs showcases the ice painting work of a local artist. The Sangker Gallery provides an opportunity to witness local artists in action.
Such a lovely venue to chill for a couple of hours. You can have your breakfast or lunch here at the rooftop and then take a tour in the place to marvel at the pieces of arts. The fact that the artists share a similar upbringing and show that in their arts is just impressive!
Just a tip; you can access the place behind the “the warm” sign.

Great gallery and interesting and varied selection of art. We paid for entry first to take lunch up on the rooftop terrace - definitely recommend that you spend a bit of time there to do both, even if just a drink. Our meals (Tom Yum soup & blue rice and chicken) were very good, as was my frappe.
Entry was $5pp

I came for the gallery and was happy to pay the entrance fee to support local Khmer artists. The reception explains the layout and recommended direction. They turn on/off the lights and fans which is great for the environment.
You can enjoy the cafe during your exploration of the gallery or instead of. Art is available for purchase.
Cafe has veggie options, and soy milk. I ordered a speciality drink with soy milk as a substitute and they offered to tell me there was condensed milk in it but they could leave it out if I was vegan/dairy-free which I am! Attentive and kind staff.

Cute little art gallery/ roof top cafe, a/c room if you prefer to stay out of the heat. Beautifully decorated. Average food but interesting presentation. It was not easy to find this place as it is located on a smaller street away from the main road.

Somewhat difficult to find and secluded Real but nice nice cafe with different sitting areas and good drinks. Officially have to pay $5 to enter the exposition area (quite decent paintings to see) and go to the cafe on the roof

This place is a MUST if you are in Battambang! There is heavy, dark but beautiful art displayed. It portrays the rich history as well as sadness and beauty of Cambodia. The workers are also very friendly and the cafe upstairs offers a cozy space and delicious food and drinks. Very grateful this place exists!

I stumbled across this place while in Battambang and found the first Modern Art Gallery in the country! The Artwork is beautiful, and then the rooftop cafe is such a peaceful place to enjoy a drink or something to eat. 100% recommend!
Cost is $5 for Adults or $2.5 for under 26 or students - worth every bit of money though

Amazing. A lot of art of Cambodian artists. I will go again. On the top floor they have a very nice coffee shop. 100% recommended. You can go here without visiting the museum.

Very beautiful gallery, with more than 200 works.
A real artistic research all over the paintings.
Otherwise, the restaurant on the rooftop is really surprising, with delicious meals and desserts!
I think a place to visit absolutely if you go to Battambang.
Nicolas A. — Google review
First of all, the artwork itself was spectacular, sometimes whimsical, often poignant, clearly birthed out of the troubled modern history of Cambodia.
That said, the gallery set up left a lot to be desired in my opinion. The entry fee of $5 seemed rather high, the rooftop cafe was expensive as well, as were the art books and postcards ($5 for a large postcard seemed exorbitant). We were not allowed to take photos inside the gallery and they only switched the lights on in the section we were currently in, so we had to report to the curator each time we moved to a new section so he could turn on the lights. In my mind, at least, the cumbersome rules of the gallery diminished my enjoyment of the art itself.
If you don't mind paying a pretty high fee, the gallery is certainly worth a visit, though.
Located just a short distance from downtown Siem Reap, Angkor Silk Farm is a charming destination nestled among verdant mulberry trees. Visitors can take a complimentary guided tour to learn about the intricate process of silk production, beginning with the very trees that envelop them. The farm boasts talented local artisans who skillfully weave silk by hand, crafting exquisite pieces of unparalleled quality.

This lake is so attractive with best personal regards from James.

The West Baray is an ancient Khmer Empire reservoir that was built close to 1,000 years ago. It was used both as both a religious monument with temples on an island and along the shore, and to irrigate the vast rice fields in the area. The ancient city of Angkor Thom was built just a short distance to the East of the West Baray.
Popular both with tourists visiting the Angkor temples and locals coming to enjoy a family outing along the shore. There are boats available to visit the island temple and a bathing beach with food shops, umbrellas and inner-tubes for rent, at the south-western corner of the Baray.

A huge, man made reservoir that was built to feed the waters into canals for rice fields, during dry season - that was being told to me! However, many locals would flock to West Barray especially at week ends and holidays for fun time!! A great time for family - swimming, boating. Hammocks were constructed and to rent out.
Local food being sold here.

Don't waste your time. It's 15 minutes away from airport, however once you get there you have to pay 20 USD per person to get a boat to temple.

If you’re visiting, have an interest in ancient engineering marvels, and have your own car, you should definitely see this from the west end of the baray. It’s hard to comprehend the effort it took to do this by hand. The west shore on the southern half has a lovely little park-like setting where the locals hang out.
