The Presencias Tutelares sculpture, located in a breathtaking and otherworldly setting, is an impressive display of artistry by the talented Juan Diaz Fleming. The sculptures perfectly complement the surrounding environment, creating a truly unique and surreal atmosphere. While some may consider it only worth visiting if passing by, these remarkable works of art certainly warrant a special trip to witness their greatness firsthand.
Really interesting history of these coastal people.

This natural hot springs will unwind you so good, you may not be able to drive back... the place is managed by the city hall, it charges you 3.000 CLP, about 4,5 USD. it has everything you need. Bathrooms, lockers, shower, nothing fancy, but clean and functional. The level of the water is between 1,0 to 5,0 meters, depending the day of the week (every two Mondays it reaches 5,0) better if you avoid weekends and holidays when is crowded
Eric Schmidt — Google review
Mondays and tuesdays level of water is raised. On these days the pool is limit dangerous due to submerged instalations. We were also (the first time) when water level was lower and it was excellent. Wednesday closed until 15h30 for cleaning.

Overcrowded but it might be nice if there is a small crowd. The water isn't warm. It's semi-thermal so don't get your hopes up.

Puchuldiza is a stunning natural wonder located in the north of the country, offering beautiful landscapes and unique geysers. These geysers are not naturally occurring but result from water forcing itself out due to pressure beneath the earth's surface, creating an incredible sight. The road leading to Puchuldiza is mostly in good condition but requires a good vehicle due to some rough parts.

Isla Incahuasi, also known as Inkawasi, is a rocky outcrop located in the middle of Salar de Uyuni's vast salt flats. It features giant Trichocereus cacti and is surrounded by a flat white sea of hexagonal salt tiles.
Must see when visiting the salt flats. You need to pay an entrance fee to visit the island. There is also a WC in the island. Unique views from the top and all around you just the salt flats. The amount of cactuses is impressive.

Nice oasis in the middle of nowhere, we had breakfast here on salt tables and chairs. You have to pay a small sum to visit the hill, but it is worth it in my opinion. The view from the top is quite nice, especially at dawn or while the sun is still rising low on the horizon. You can even camp close to the hill for the night, if you need to plant a tent or something.

We enjoyed this. We paid to go in and it as a short bit of a hike to get to the top. Some people were winded. It's in the middle of no where and incredible. I say pay- it supports the people who live there. We met some other kids that just walked around it to find the cactus on the out rim that looked like a mans XXXX. They said they found it. That was their priority :p

Beautiful place in the middle of a salty desert.
You can climb the island and see the grand view of the Uyuni desert.
Uyuni Salt Flat, known as the world's largest salt desert, is a breeding ground for flamingos and an awe-inspiring spectacle. The expansive terrain resembles a desert or arctic tundra, but comprises of salt up to 30 feet thick. This prehistoric site was once part of Lago Minchin, a salt lake that covered much of southwest Bolivia before drying up and leaving behind seasonal puddles and several salt pans.
Such a beautiful and majestic place on this earth! Mi encanta! Worth a visit! ✨🌙♥️

This place is INSANE. It seems like from another planet. I was afraid it wouldn’t meet my expectations but I couldn’t have never imagined how amazing it actually was. I went on March and the weather was perfect so I was able to see the mirror effect and stunning sunsets there. When it gets windy you can see waves and it’s beautiful, and think when the wind disappears it’s just quiet and infinite and perfectly beautiful. Wouldn’t change this trip for anything in the world!!!
Alejandra Olaya — Google review
Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni is considered one of the most extreme and remarkable vistas in all of South America, if not Earth. Stretching more than 4,050 square miles of the Altiplano, it is the world’s largest salt flat, left behind by prehistoric lakes evaporated long ago. Here, a thick crust of salt extends to the horizon, covered by quilted, polygonal patterns of salt rising from the ground.
At certain times of the year, nearby lakes overflow and a thin layer of water transforms the flats into a stunning reflection of the sky. This beautiful and otherworldly terrain serves as a lucrative extraction site for salt and lithium—the element responsible for powering laptops, smart phones, and electric cars. In addition to local workers who harvest these minerals, the landscape is home to the world's first salt hotel and populated by road-tripping tourists. The harsh beauty and desolateness of Salar de Uyuni can make for an incredible experience or a logistical nightmare. Here’s a guide to help:
Located at the crux of Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina, the logistics and length of your trip to Salar de Uyuni will depend where you’re coming from. Tours originate from three main places:
Uyuni, Bolivia: The most popular jumping-off point for salt flats tours, Uyuni is a small, dusty town packed with tourism agencies in Plaza Arce, its main square. Travelers can book tours in advance online, through tour offices in La Paz, or they can simply arrive in Uyuni and peruse the options in town. Since Uyuni is so close to the salt flats, tourists can easily book day trips. Flights from La Paz to Uyuni can be booked through Amaszonas and BoA (one hour, about $130 round-trip). Overnight buses from La Paz are available with Trans Omar and Todo Turismo (10-12 hours, $30 to $40 each way).
San Pedro de Atacama, Chile: Agencies drive travelers to the border before handing the tour over to a Bolivian operator. Due to the distance, this is a three-day tour.
Tupiza, Bolivia: This is the best starting point for travelers coming from Argentina. Tour operators recommend four-day tours from Tupiza, visiting Salar de Uyuni on the final day.

Great experience. 👍
This is probably (and most likely) the only thing that you will do in Uyuni 😀
A few notes:
- in my opinion 1 day tour is enough (if you decide to do more than 1 day, make sure you ask about the accommodation and heating at night in the accommodation, and also electricity as some of the salt falts don't have electricity and mainly operated by a few hours of fuel generators a day)
- the weather can get quiet cold and harsh so I recommend have proper warm clothing.
- bring a blanket or two from your hotel if you can
- take a warm hat, scarf and gloves. The cold wind is not forgiving.
- take 50+ sunscreen and apply generously if you don't want to suffer the day after. Don't forget to put sun protection on your lips and your ears, if you don't want painful and brittle cracks on them the day after.
- Altitude won't be in your favour, so if you are not used to it sooner or later you will feel it, best remedy drink lots of water and chew on coca leaves (locals swear on its remedial power for altitude skiness)
- the main attractions of 1 day tour are:
1 Train cemetery (this is actually only 5 mins drive from Uyuni itself),
2 driving on the salt,
3 salt hotel (generally that's were tours have their lunch there, but there is no cooking as there is no electricity),
4 pictures with some dianasuer toys (have fun you will be suprised with the results),
5 cactus island (30 BOB cash entry fee which includes moderate hike of 40 to 60mins return, plus you can use tye bathrooms unlimited, rare case in this area)
6 Sunset (this one was the highlight for me)
- if you are going by yourself make sure take some rain boots as towards the end and depending on the season there is a pool of water on the salt.
- if you are going by yourself make sure ask locals on how to get there, apparently on the map there seems to be some short cuts which may end up in a disaster based on what I've heard from locals
- the shared day tours generally cost between 30 to 50 euros which include, food, 4WD transport, an English tour guide, and rain boots.
Hadi Mashin — Google review
The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes that existed around forty thousand years ago but had all evaporated over time. It is now covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average elevation variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. The large area, clear skies, and exceptional flatness of the surface make the Salar ideal for calibrating the altimeters of Earth observation satellites. Following rain, a thin layer of dead calm water transforms the flat into the world's largest mirror, 129 km (80 mi) across.

Amazing must see place. One thing to bear in mind is make sure to get a good tour guide as in one who would try to communicate with you, help you take fantastic photos and gets involved a bit and shows some interest of the place as we had one who just wasn't so bothered and a bit rude, we had a couple who was told one thing by agency and he told them something different. So in other words make sure you know what your paying for and make sure to get it as again we were told certain things would be included in tour and we paid, as we got to the cacti island and also just to hike along the low hill parts of volcano whilst others went up, we were charged extra money for that, so quite misleading. Also it's worth to invest in luxury accommodation especially if you plan to do 2 nights or more (you won't regret it). The place itself is amazing to see, it's a shame about the tour guide.
P B — Google review
One of the craziest places on the planet. If you go when there is a layer of water on the salt, the sky reflects off the water and blends ground and sky together, so you feel as if you are walking in the clouds. A very surreal experience!
Blake Cronyn — Google review
I heard about it for the first time on TV and thought I'd like to go. It was extremely far away, time consuming, and difficult. However, it is the best scenery in my life that erases all the hardships. It's a very mysterious scene where you don't know where the boundary between the sky and the horizon is.

Pico Tunari is a craggy mountain with an altitude of 5100 meters, offering expansive views and trekking routes for adventure enthusiasts. The Andean condors add to the mesmerizing scenery that can be enjoyed on a day-long hike, which is not marked out and requires booking with a guide. While driving up to 4600 meters, tourists may take Sorojchi pills from pharmacies to counter the effects of high altitude and thin air.
Very recommandable! Normally you drive up to almost 4600 m. From there its just 2-3 hours to the top. But don't underestimate the hight and the thin air. I suggest taking Sorojchi pills before and during the hike (you get them in every pharmacy). The view from the top is just unbelievable and if you're lucky you can see the Illimani.

First of all it’s a clean, warm, not so crowded and very symmetrical and you can enjoy the historic buildings but more then that there are good places for dine in or a coffee break, art exhibitions which you can find something for you home, book stores, good pharmacies etc. As I said it’s look similar but it’s not. Palacio Portales is a European-inspired structure from the early 20th century, featuring guided tours and exhibits. It serves as a symbol of Bolivia's prosperous mineral age, built with luxurious imported materials such as Carrara marble, French wood, Italian tapestries, and delicate silks. The palace's gardens and exterior draw inspiration from Versailles while the games room imitates Granada's Alhambra and the main hall takes its design cues from Vatican City.
Great place to take some photos outside and to get to know the history of Patiño and his family.
You have to pay to have a guide explaining and schedule the session some time before the visit.
It is worth the time. Recomend

Well worth the paid tour. The guide only explains in spanish. Tour takes about 45 min. They explained who and what Simon Patino is and did. They also explain more about the mansion. This is not the only home of his. He has another one in Cochabamba which you can visit as well.

Beautiful palace. We just went to the palace and went inside with a guided group at 11 on Sunday. Tour was in Spanish, but out guide spoke very clearly and we were able to follow everything she said. Beautiful place with a lot of different architecture styles and references to Europe. Unique, even for Europeans.

Palacio Portales is an iconic place to visit, has one of the best gardens in the country with a collection of exotic plants and trees, brought to Cochabamba mant decades ago.
This palace has an astonishing architecture, Italy, France, Arabesque styles, etc. Then what else can we expect when Simón Iturri Patiño a Bolivian industrialist who was among the world's wealthiest people at the time of his death was behind this monumental design.

We came with a friend that interpreted for us. Our Spanish is weak at best.
The history and spectacle was displayed well in this gorgeous mansion and beautiful gardens. After the tour we had tea and a meal with more friends. It was worthwhile visit!

Nice experience, but a bit too short.
The gardens are quite nice to stroll around.
Don't forget to do the one in Pairumani.
The Cristo de la Concordia sculpture, situated on Cerro de San Pedro in Cochabamba, is the second largest statue of Jesus Christ globally and is accessible via cable car or stairs. It's taller than Rio de Janeiro's Cristo Redentor by 44cm and offers stunning panoramic views of the city and valley. The locals claim that it commemorates Christ living for 33 years and a bit.
Take the teleferico and enjoy the statue amd the views from the top.
Well presented, clean area and not overcrowded.
Also don't forget to get a picture from the photographer. Everything is cheap here.
J J — Google review
Definitely worth a visit. The Statue is definitely a thing to see but the views are excellent. The best part is that this place is considered more as a tourist spot devoid of any spiritual importance. The locals do visit it for pleasure.

Take a shared taxi next to the telefonico and ask him to share with others price from 5/10bs each.. because the cable car is not working at the moment (feb2024)!!
entrance up there is free.. you can walk back.. easy and safe way in the morning :)

Beautiful view, not too crowded. Take the teleferico is very cheap and comfortable.. Stay away from climbing the stairs(safety precautions).

Amazing thing to see up close. You can walk up to it or get a ride from a cable car. You can see the surrounding cities from very far away, beautiful view. I was told that on Sundays you can go inside the statue to go to the top for a small fee.

We visited the place on the day celebrating the fiesta for Dia de Cochabamba which coincides with the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross of Jesus. We challenged ourselves to walk up to the top and fully immerse in the experience.
Visitors can decide how to reach the place. By walking, by car, or by cable car.
Reminders for those deciding to walk up:
- the best time to walk up is around 5:30am to 8am (beyond these times, it could be very hot and glaring)
- bring water (or you may buy from those selling along the way and literally along the stairs
- protect yourselves from the heat of the sun (with caps, sunglasses, sunblocks, long sleves, etc)
- be mindful of your heart and medical conditions (Bolivia is situated in a high altitude from sea level so foreigners must be very careful)
- some say it can be scaled within half an hour but our group has to stop many times along the way (also me being careful and trying not to overestimate my capacity that i have fully adapted to the altitude norms)
There are small stalls at the top where you can buy water, refreshments, snacks and trinkets as souvenirs. There is also a restaurant (which we didn't try to find out how it was or what was in there😅).

Obviously the main tourist attraction in Cochabamba. The stairs are super hard but worth it if you’re feeling up to it. If not, I believe the gondola is 6.50bs per person? Beautiful statue and beautiful view of the city. Also have some sellers up there selling little snacks and crafts (jewelry, purses, keychains etc)
Rylee Fortier-Turner — Google review
If you can take the cable car up, I highly recommend it. The hike up is what I did as the cable car line was very long and was not worth the wait. Walking up the hill took about 30 minutes. There are a few little drink stands along the way up the mountain so if you do need a glass of water or Gatorade, you can find it. When you get up to the top, it is a wonderful view.

Went there during holiday season, wasn’t able to take the cable car but went up walking. Arrived there for the sunset, excellent view of the city. I felt safe but everyone advised me to not go down the stairs after 6 pm.

Nice views of the city and impressive to see. We went on a Monday and the cable car was closed. We took a taxi for about 20-30bs one way and same for the way back (plenty of taxis waiting).

Visiting Cristo de la Concordia was a great experience. High above the mountain watching over the whole of Cochabamba with the grace of Lord Jezus!
The atmosphere above there was very nice. Everyone was enjoying the view and relaxing. I really loved it and stayed quite a while.
We went up with the cable 'wagons'. It was just great!

Amazing breathtaking view of almost all the city. We took the cableway to the top, it was very clean, affordable and a much safer option than taking the stairs (which is not recommended). Once up there you can buy beverages and ice cream in little stores located on the sides.

A lovely reasonably easy grind up stairs to see one of the biggest Christ statues in the world! A stunning view over Cochabamba too. We walked up midweek from the city and felt very safe, lots of security around and other people making the trek. It took us around 20 minutes to walk up.

Though challenging and requiring significant walking, visitors will undoubtedly find the experience both rewarding and unforgettable.

It is a really nice place with a beautiful surrounding. The pitty is, that you are not allowed to do a single step without a guide. There are several places which you can visit within a circle of 4 km, but it is not possible to walk and to enjoy the beautiness of the area. You have to go by car with a guide.
Without guide you have to stay in the village.
I defentively would not come back again.

Not worth the trouble to get there from the main cities nearby. It's 4.5 hours on a rough dirt road from Cochabamba. Plus you have to wait up to 2 hours for the collectivo to fill up. No wifi, bank, ATM or pharmacy in town. Nature is pretty but nothing spectacular. Caves and canyon are beautiful and worth seeing if you come. Restaurants are limited and all serve the same basic menu. People are very friendly. Guides required for all visitors. 200 BS to enter park plus about 100 BS per half day tour.

One of my favourite places in Bolivia. 5 hours from Cochabamba, you can reach it by Public transportation or by a travel agency. Once there, you should go to the Sernap office to buy your entrance ticket (40 Bob for bolivians and 100 Bob for foreigners) and get a local guide. Two days and a night is probably the best options to see the main attractions: first day Waka sinqa canyon to see incredible dinosaur footprints and end up swimming in a cold natural swimming pool looking at the amazing Vergel waterfalls, second day the Intas city and the Uma Jalanta cave (pretty extreme sport). If you stay one day more you can go for a trekking and see particular "champiñones" stones, weird and small trees and more dinosaur footprints. Really worth it!!
Alice JT — Google review
Really beautiful views in the two routes I took there (the canyon and fall route and the cave route). The dinosaur footprints are unique to see.
None of the guides in the park speak fluent english, which is a point to consider. One thing that none of the guides prepare you for is sketchy pathways - in both routes, I encountered unexpected sections of climbing, dropping, crawling, etc. Older people / people with some disabilities should consider this before coming to visit.

Espejillos is an awe-inspiring destination with pristine, unspoiled water and a tranquil ambiance. The local residents are incredibly welcoming, adding to the charm of this remote location. While its distance from town adds to its allure, visitors should come prepared with their own provisions as there are no food options available on-site during the week. It is important to exercise caution due to slippery rocks, but despite the potential dangers, Espejillos remains a must-visit spot for nature enthusiasts.
This is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen, natural fresh and very clean water, great & peaceful, the local people are super friendly. It’s a bit far from town but that’s what makes it special.

Beautiful waterfall and many smaller waterfalls to cool off and play in the water. A very beautiful and quiet place, surrounded by birds and sounds of nature. There are deep and deep pools up to 11m so it can meet all the expectations of many people, adventurers, families, children. It would definitely be ideal to accommodate the road as soon as possible so it will be a more sought-after place by people. Another issue, I think there is a need for more facilities, restaurants, accommodation, with a little increase in the level of service, definitely a more emblematic place will remain here🇧🇴👍the only shadow would be since the place is not so spacious if it becomes saturated with people will not be able to enjoy bathing well 곳임. Santa Cruz Municipal Zoo is a considerable wildlife park showcasing a variety of animals, accompanied by an informative museum and a weekly display of orchids. The zoo boasts extensive grounds abundant with vegetation, providing pleasant surroundings complete with ample seating and shaded areas. However, one drawback worth noting is the cramped enclosures for certain roaming creatures like jaguars, small oncas, and foxes that seemed restless within their confined spaces.
One of the better zoos I have visited. There is an aquarium and a herpetarium. All the species are native to Bolivia. The gardeners do a magnificent job.

Beautiful place, mostly clean with lots of flora but still a long way to become a good zoo. Animals need more space and a better environment according to their natural place of origin. Also more signaling needed, signs are too old or non existent.

It seemed to me that the zoo remains the same as it did many years ago and with so many visitors, the animals should be in better conditions, especially the pumas, they should have a larger space appropriate to their natural habitat since they are on concrete floors and very small cages, it is VERY SORRY to see them locked up alone, which happens with some other animals, some cages do not have water, the environment where the manta rays were did not have enough water or depth and to make matters worse there is not even water in the bathroom It is in the food court. As I am an animal lover, I do not recommend a visit to the zoo!

As I suspected, I did not like the treatment of some animals, locked up alone in small cages with a concrete floor and fenced with metal mesh.
Other animals have recreations of more complete and extensive habitats.
I see that there is a lack of investment in this zoo, so that I can consider it a good place for animals.

Large lush zoo with many interesting animals and birds with info boards in Spanish only. It's very pleasant and green with lots of shade and places to sit. A downside is that I felt many roaming animals should not be confined in such small spaces, eg, jaguars, small onças, foxes, some of whom were walking constantly around their confined space. Of course, this is an issue for all zoos worldwide.

The cathedral square is the most attractive part of the center town experience. I often go in to a cathedral to get cool, but I had no such luck here. The ceiling was made
of wood. This is a Franciscan church and although you would expect the nearby Monastery to be a man's domain, it is in fact the residence of the Poor Clares, who make good use of the church too.

Beautiful old brick church. To go up in the clock tower it's 3 Bolivianos, well worth it, and hundreds of steps in a spiral staircase. The views are wonderful. Be careful if going to the top where the bells ring on the hour, very loud! There are two other floors to stop and take pictures from. The church itself doesn't have gold inside and has cobwebs on the wooden vaulted ceiling, but nice anyway.

The Basilica is huge and quite beautiful but the souvenir shops are very over priced. Example, Ponchos are $50!!! while the same Poncho is $18-20 in Ecuador. I also noticed that a few souvenir shops were owned by the same person so there's a sort of Monopoly.

Lots of place to sit for the public in the square where you come across all kind of people. I would spend my whole evening here. This place is very close to 24 de septiembre plaza. Lots of eating options nearby. Would surely recommend this hang out place.

It's the center of the city, around here you will find great places to eat and drink, always can have a visit in the cathedral.
Leonardo Muñoz Huanca — Google review
Really beautiful city centre, has a square with beautiful trees, walkways and benches. Church is stunning. Whole place is very family oriented with regular events for all ages with streets closed to traffic. Which I really loved as traffic fumes in Santa Cruz can be quite overwhelming..

Very nice landscape, colonial buildings around. Many pigeons and children playing around. I would recommend it for a quiet day outside. There are many restaurants and ice cream places nearby

The main place to start visiting the city. Only extreme bad weather will empty it... always with visitors and locals enjoying the pleasant weather, even at early hours of the morning. Coffee runs around in little carts for sale to amenize conversations and just to take a minute in the simple pleasures of life, like friendship and a good company. Locals meet regularly and some take the challenge of a chess game, others find their spot to refresh from the heat of the day, but all soak in the warmth welcome that this city has for everybody.

Heart of Santa Cruz. Great people watching. During the day it is nice to enjoy an ice cream or a cocktail nearby. You will see older men reading the paper or playing an intense game of chess. Families and groups will come out and walk around. Vibrant space during the weekend.

Very nice plaza. There are many benches to sit on and chess tables to pass time. The park has many coffee vendors that walk around and sell cafe con leche (local specialty). It was very nice to enjoy a cup of coffee and gaze at the surrounding architecture of buildings and cathedral

Muhpan - Museu de História do Pantanal is a waterfront museum that offers an interactive experience, showcasing the formation of the Pantanal and 10,000 years of human habitation in the region. The exhibits cover various aspects such as flora and fauna across different parts of the wetlands, European exploration history, and the founding of Corumba.
Some years ago i've been to this place and found it very awesome. If you want to know about the regional history and original people culture (indian) it's a must to see. If you don't have time, you should take a picture and appreciate the forefront of the building.

An unmissable visit if you can make it during opening hours. Unfortunately the elevator and third floor are closed for maintenance. Almost the entire building, inside and outside, is original, only reinforced to withstand the passage of time. The columns are made of cast iron. I hope they manage to expand the location and increase the collection. I want to go back to see the top floor.

Ramona, who welcomed us at the entrance, was extremely kind and provided lots of interesting information about the history of the museum and the city.
Muhpan contains a huge amount of historical information, so it's good to take your time and calmly read the sequence of short texts that describe the unfolding of the history of the region, and its main characters. The museum also presents indigenous, fossil and archaeological items from the region.
We had a little difficulty arranging the visit time during the first few days in the city, so it may be interesting to call the museum before the visit to confirm when it will be open.
I highly recommend the visit. It’s the most interesting place in the city to learn about the history of Corumbá!

The Cristo Rei do Pantanal monument, located in the wetlands of Brazil, stands as a symbol of faith and reverence. This impressive structure, situated amidst the unique natural landscape, represents the religious devotion that permeates the region. The monument's grandeur is truly awe-inspiring, captivating visitors with its majestic presence. It serves as a testament to the importance of spirituality in this area, while also showcasing the rich cultural heritage that defines Pantanal.
The Pantanal Park Hotel is a peaceful countryside retreat with unpretentious accommodations. The rooms are modestly decorated and provide a sense of calmness. This tranquil rural hotel also features an on-site eatery, expansive grounds, and a refreshing swimming pool located outdoors.

We attempted to stay here in December 25th 2020. The miles long mud route to the hotel was not suitable for any rental car, but we did it somehow (it was dry season). Other reviews say that this place is abandoned and we can confirm it with the pictures we took. As i’m writing, i’m trying to find a solution with hotels.com, as they reached the hotel and they kept saying it is open. So clearly, a scam.
You can contact the owner at +5518997232382, who does not speak English and keeps saying he does not have any relationship with hotels.com

We attempted to stay here in March. The miles long mud route to the hotel was impassable for our rental car. Apparently you can book a boat to get there, in advance, but we booked the same day. We tried contacting this place via whatsapp, telephone, email, and facebook. No answer. Other reviews say that this place is abandoned. Took me 5 hours of phone calls to orbitz to get a refund. Dont make the same mistake we did. Spent the entire day in the car wasting gas for nothing.

(Translated by Google) What do I have to say about this hotel!
Don't believe these photos, they were taken a long time ago.
Hotel appears to be abandoned, we had a reservation for 10/24 and were unable to stay, a completely empty hotel in the middle of nowhere.
No reception, completely different from the photos. We walked another 1200km and missed our vacation in brothers... a real shame, we were so upset and went back to our house at the same time and missed our vacation in Pantanal...
The only positive point was the employee Percival who served us with great politeness and promptness.
And to make things worse, they picked us up on the banks of the river in a low-sided canoe (4 men) plus the staff and on the way back it was worse that all our luggage came with us in the canoe.

Horrible owner/agency. Very dishonest. The tour should include the lunch, swimming in the natural water, kayaking, stand up paddle and so on. However, due to the rain two days ago, they closed all the activities. I was told in the morning that everything is cancelled, and I can only have lunch there. I cannot cancel the tour(and the lunch) and ask the money back, also they cancel the activities themselves. They forced me to stay in their places for 4 hours doing nothing. It only costs R$40, but it is NOT about the money, it is about the credit and HONESTY. Who wants to stay four hours in a remote places only for lunch? Waste my time. The worse thing is they have some activities, but I have to pay extra for them. Horrible experience, very dishonest
