Bear in mind that it’s very touristic

I love this place! Dive and get in direct contact with nature. Seeing the fish close by, feeling in an aquarium is fantastic!
A sea of wonderful green color, and a beautiful historic place ... with well-decorated streets🌵❤
I really liked the place. And the natural beauty that it offers. Corals, fish, attractions and well-kept places.

I felt sorry of the ocean, full of chairs, umbrella, tables on the beach and food stalls, so commercial. and many rubbish, cigarettes 🚬, plastic stuff, and the water has floating oil and ting rubbish that's really disgusting. I understand why the beach provide shower for tourists because the water is polluted.
I think this beach is over rated.

Nice beach in Porto De Galinhas because many kids and adults will like this beach and this beach has got scuba/snorkel activity per person in this beach and it is the perfect beach for all the family.
Becky Allen-Holland — Google review
At low tide you can access the coral pools from the beach for snorkeling. Choice of being in a quieter or busier part of the beach. Laid back brazilian crowd so no need to dress up in town or obmn the beach.

This place was recommended to me to visit while in the nordeste and I am truly happy that I went here. Plenty of hiking areas. Plenty of beaches and they reminded me of Pacific Islands due to the palm trees. I lived on açai here, delicious and loved the place walking around solo. No queues for restaurants when I went there. I would go back here. I met the football team sport Recife when they were promoted to the top league. Recife airport was loco.

I never felt unsafe here. Hot weather, nice bars, quite modern.
Easy to reach from Recife.
I also never felt alone because at every millimeter of the beach there is a "businessman" available selling almost everything you need.
The area is also a Digital Nomad hot spot.

What a wonderful place! There are options for all kinds of tourists, but the calmest ones prevail. Clearest water I've ever seen. Avoid the crowds and rent the Volta a Ilha boat ride. The guys will ride away from the drunk crowds and get you to the calmest pools, quite far from the floating pub.

This place is amazing
Beautiful beaches with great chill and tranquilo atmosphere, people that will make you want to stay longer and really special food
The Quarta Praia beach in Morro de Sao Paulo is a more secluded, quieter option than the main beaches in town, and is worth walking to after a dip in the water. It's also more vazia than the other beaches in Morro, with many people renting bikes to pedal along the long stretch of sand.
Really liked it. Away from the crowds of the other beaches that are closer to the town centre you'll find a nice beach with very little amount of people (takes a while to get there as you can only get there by foot I think). Because of that, unfortunately this isn't an option for people with reduced mobility. There are a couple of bars that (I think) serve some food (although we didn't eat). Not a place to watch the sunset, best during the morning/day time (till 16:30-17:00)
Isa Alonso — Google review
The beach is beautiful, but for those who want bath or swim, it’s better to keep walking till the second half of the beach
Bruno Lins — Google review
Much quieter than in town. Worth walking here and sitting in the shade of the big trees after a splash.

It’s a very flat and shallow beach, even with the tide. The mud is very soft and is good for rubbing on your skin or throwing at your friends (or enemies, you choose). It’s the least crowded beach, especially farther south.
Angus Bennion — Google review
This is the most peaceful and beautiful beach of Morro. When the tide is low you can swim in natural pools with many colorful fishes. The coast is designed with palm trees and other trees.

The 2a Praia in Morro de Sao Paulo is a popular beach with people looking for lots of fun during the holidays. It's home to some of the most popular beach bars and restaurants in town, as well as some of the most beautiful views of the ocean. It's just a short walk from the center of town and it's always crowded during high season, thanks to tourists who love its laid-back atmosphere and cool water.
Beautiful beach, you can lie down and never have to get up, someone will get you all the acai and caipi you'll need. Lots of football, dancers and people having fun!

Ferry Boats deserve better attention from public authorities, as well as the services provided. Boats that were once extremely modern, today need minimal repairs and care. It is worth mentioning that other states in Brazil do not have boats with this quality and construction, so maintenance would be enough to improve service conditions. Pedestrians and all types of vehicles board practically without restrictions.

(Translated by Google) Terminal without good signage. When you arrive at the entrance you almost don't know that it is a terminal, as what is above is a huge advertisement that looks more like the entrance to a company than the entrance to the terminal. The service was disorganized and it wasn't full, I can only imagine on weekends and holidays. Filthy bathroom, dirtier than an old gas station on the side of the road. Truly absurd for the price they charge! How can the Government of Bahia not monitor the service of this concession. The rules of the contract are certainly being violated by the concessionaire Internacional Travessias. It is clear that privatization does not improve the service if there is no supervision and monitoring of the contract by the assignee!!!

A bolder and more entrepreneurial vision is needed, aligned with a health and sanitation infrastructure and land management and vehicle circulation. But it all starts with the modernism of the Bom Despacho Terminal. Oh! I think you should change the name too. Change to a contemporary name. Wanting sujestão, here you go.... Ah! Acho que deveria mudar o nome tbm . Mudar pra um nome contemporânea. Querendo sujestão, aí vai.... Terminal "Netuno" ou Tritão, etc! The Elevador Lacerda in Salvador, Brazil is a historic art deco elevator that offers stunning panoramic views. It connects the upper and lower parts of the city, providing a convenient transportation option for visitors. This iconic landmark has been restored to its original beauty and attracts tourists from around the world. The elevator consists of four separate elevators and can transport passengers 72 meters in less than 30 seconds.
Beautiful elevator with stunning views of the city. At just 15 cents, it is a very affordable way to get to the old city. The observation deck at the top gives you some of the best views in Salavador. It's also closely located to Mercado Modelo, which is convenient. With that said, make sure you don't have any flashy jewlery on you when you go up so you can stay safe.

A tourist attraction with a lot of history.
⭐ The elevator is very fast and takes you to the upper city in a few seconds
⭐ We did not pay an entrance fee and did not have to wait in a queue
⭐ Nothing else to say or to do. Very straightforward. It is an elevator after all. But fun nonetheless!
Also, prices for souvenirs in the upper city are cheaper than at Mercado Modelo!

It's very cheap at only R$0.15, and conveniently located. It facilitates a 10 minute walk from the ferry to Pelourinho or from Pelourinho to the market. There may be a bit of a line depending on the time of day that you visit. Can also get a bit hot during the day. There are stunning views from the top, a very popular photo op spot, as well as a famous ice cream shop help you beat the heat. Can't miss it on a visit to Salvador and I definitely recommend taking it at least once.

A very traditional landmark of the city, this elevator is known as the first public elevator on the entire Amreica. It connects the up and down part of the town (where the Modelo Market is located). The fee to use is very unexpensive - only BRL 0.15 cents. It's also a good place to enjoy the breathtaking view of the All Saints Bay. Unfortunately, the surroundings are not as safe as expected, but note that this is very common for historical cities in Brazil. I do recommend you to be accompanied by a local to avoid unsafe areas and to avoid the local vendors who can be very insisting. As always, enjoy it during the daytime. The elevator doesn't offer a panoramic view (it was not built with this intention), but it has a glass corridor that can be the place for nice pictures.

It's a small pastry and ice cream shop situated right next to the elevator. I have to admit that the ice creams are delicious, generously served, and really cheap. You may choose to get them in a cone or a cup. The 'Pave' flavor is amazing! Pave is a Brazilian cake-like dessert.
Arkadiusz Jędrzejewski — Google review
The history behind the construction is interesting, however it’s not a great place to go. Going up and down costs R$0,15 per visitor and the elevator is too crowded, hot as hell and smells sweat. Great view up there though.

Pelourinho is a historic district in Salvador that features picturesque cobblestone streets, Afro-Bahian souvenir shops, and lively squares filled with musicians and dancers. This area contains colonial landmarks such as Igreja e Convento de São Francisco and Catedral Basílica de Salvador featuring intricate gold-plated carvings and Portuguese tiles. The Pelourinho is also home to the Casa do Carnaval which showcases multimedia exhibits of street parties with costumed mannequins.
The Basilica of the Lord of Bonfim is a large, gothic-style church located on a hill in the city of Salvador. The church is known for its Hall of Miracles and its body part replicas, which are popular tourist souvenirs. The church's fame derives from its power to effect miraculous cures, making it a popular shrine.
I really enjoyed busing this place. We did the 3 ties for 3 wishes. It was fun to explore this area a few vendors out front. Would say this Is a good place to visit, parking can be tough to find.
Alyssa Helkowski — Google review
One of the best attraction of the city.
You'll feel a deep spiritual energy and You'll meet a beautiful cultural side of Salvador de Bahia.
Quaint old church, with a beautiful view, much nicer interior than one would guess from the exterior (although exterior is done in rather charming gothic architecture), and a cute story of wishes granted for each of the knots tied with a ribbon at its fence. Make sure not to tie more than three knots, though, and of course - you can't say the wishes out loud. :) When will they come true? When the last of the knots gets undone and the ribbon falls off the fence...
Vanja Cingel — Google review
Though it is not that close of the mainstream of Salvador's sightseeing, the basilic is indeed a must to see place. It has such a huge and potent energy that will make the extra effort worth it. It's not the most luxurious church one can visit, but the relevance of its history to the locals (and the history of religious development in the entire state) is more than necessary if you really want to leave with the mystical taste that Salvador leaves in all of us. There is no fee payment, and as a plus, you can visit the beaches located on the outskirts. Don't forget to attach your Senhor do Bonfim ribbon on the gates of the church - legends say you must choose the color you like the most and tie it in with three knots, one for each wish of yours. The color you pick will represent the orixá that protects you.
Felipe Lopes — Google review

A must see during your visit to Salvador. A beautiful cathedral that captures the heart and soul of one of the oldest cities established in the new world.
It’s local custom to tie ribbons at the gate in front of the church and say a prayer to the Holy Savior of the Bay of all Saints.
Inside the cathedral and deep rooted in the Afro-Brazillian Candomblé traditions and the Catholic Ex-Voto, the afflicted offer wax casts in body parts to Saints as thanks or hope of healing them.

To get from the center was very frustrating and took me 2.5 hrs to get there.
Do not rely on google maps or moovit in terms of the bus number (many buses have no number) or the bus stop to get on (as many drivers did not stop for me as it was not the right one) or even the route. Ask many people and look for a bus sign that states it is a stop. Many buses don't display numbers, and if they do, the number switches quickly that you may not have the time to see it from far to hail it down!

The TAMAR Marine Turtle Praia do Forte Project is a crucial initiative dedicated to the conservation of endangered sea turtles. At the TAMAR Education Center, visitors can gain insights into various turtle species and the threats they face from activities like pelagic long line fishing and poaching. The project also focuses on preserving humpback whales, with whale watching being a popular activity during their reproduction season from July to October.
A must see place. I love the location (right on the beach). We were able to start early in the morning take a break for lunch in side the Tamar project there is small food area. There is so much to learn in this on place. You are able to see the actual size of each turtle and compare to your own height. So many pools of turtles. One thing we didnt know is that you are contact them in advance and spend the day as a biologist. a good place for kids of all ages. I really enjoy this place.
Alyssa Helkowski — Google review
It's a very interesting, but small exhibit. It's fun to see, but keep in mind that you will maybe spend there 1-2 hours MAX. If you don't have a tour! We went 2 hours before closing and it was the perfect time to go.
B. Jisoon n — Google review
Great conservation project, beautiful displays and signage with a lot of educational content. Great for children and adults alike. The only disappointing thing was to see the amount of rubbish floating around the nearby beach, contradicting so much of the message which the project stands for.
Tanja Samira Jorgic Rudd — Google review
Worth visiting, this project shows great samples of turtles and a few other species, in a splendid space almost on the beach of Praia do Forte. Some explanations in English about turtles and the overall project would be very useful for foreign visitors!
Dominique Lecheval — Google review
It is definitely a place worth visiting. You can admire turtles of different sizes, from tiny hatchlings to enormous old turtles. While they offer guided tours, unfortunately, these tours are not available in English, and not all exhibit descriptions have English translations. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the visit.
Arkadiusz Jędrzejewski — Google review
No one spoke English here so I could not join the tour to interact with baby turtles. I was disappointed.
Tiffany Mullen — Google review
Lots of interesting information. There is a need for guides along the way but none were provided. We could have used more information and this would have generated a more engaging experience. Great to see how the project works and it certainly is an excellent initiative.

Fun outdoor activity to do with kids (free under 5)! Employees are kind, always available to explain or help. Fun way to learn about turtles. There are also sharks and rays to see. The gift shop is nice too :) For people with babies, please note that there are 2 bathrooms on the site, but only one that is baby friendly. It's the one located at the entrance of the park where you pay your ticket. Enjoy :)

I hate giving such low points when reviewing a place that is working to try to help the oceans and efforts of conservancy!!! However, this is a cause that is very close to my heart. Having volunteered 6 years at the G aquarium!!! I went in and out of this place and learned very little. The people that were there were not giving any particular instructions or help. Besides having a t shirt saying, if you need help, I can help but it was all in portuguese anyway.... I know we are in Brazil, and that is the official language. However, if you are trying to educate an effort of conservacy, you should have somebody who speaks other languages so everybody that goes can learn something.
I also found it extremely sad that giant turtles swam in such a reduced space🤔🤕. I understand that there are animals that can not be returned to their natural habitat for diverse reasons, but if they are to remain in human care, they need to be cared for. So for this, I cannot recommend.
Noelle Marozeau — Google review
Great place to go with or without children! Learn more about the turtle protection program from Brasil!
We even got the release of little turtles to the sea , very cute!
Mari Jadon — Google review
I like what they're doing and what they stand for. I guess they need to have to have a front of house so show everyone their good actions. It felt a little like an aquarium to me. I hope those sharks, manta rays and turtles are in there just temporarily.
Conor O'Connell — Google review
The Tamar Project does such fantastic work in protecting the marine turtles, that you absolutely have to love and support this place. The place itself is not very big, and you can walk through the whole area in 30 minutes or so. But you do get to learn a lot, and seeing the turtles is an amazing experience. It's also located in a beautiful area by some of the most beautiful beaches. After going here, you definitely have to go to the beaches and enjoy the natural wonders. If you're lucky, you can even see the turtles in the wild.
Pedram Esm — Google review
Love the place. The landscape and the turtles are amazing. You can clearly see that they love them and care about them. If you want to eat somenthing inside there, you have an open restaurant facing the ocean with a breathtaking view. You will not regret the experience.

A really great place. Full of species of fishes, even sharks. The main attraction are the marine turtles, various species and their cubs (which you can see been freed onto the sea depending on the season).
The place supports a conservancy projected to protect the turtles.
Daniel Junior — Google review
Great staff, well organized and well mantained environment.
The entry ticket justifies its R$ 24 price tag, letting you go to any places in the stabelecement (excluding the Yellow Submarine atraction) with freedom
All animals are healthy and are well cared and loved by everyone working there.
Things on the exit shop are pricy but are justificable by how much this project has been doing and how much they need to pay for taking care of the animals, maintain the building in good state and pay the employees as well.
Overall, couldn't stay more happy to visit and help the project as well.
Victor Augusto Rodrigues Romero — Google review
It's so little! I would recommend if you want to see a group of sharks and some little turtles. Overall I am kind of disappointed because compared to the TAMAR project of Praia do Forte this one has only is 1/3 of the size and attractions. I would recommend watch the animal feeding. You can also ask for a stamp in your arm in case you want to go out and return later on.

The Museum of Sergipe is a great place to learn about the local culture and history. The museum has interactive displays that illustrate different aspects of culture, such as food, history, and environment. There are also student helpers available to answer any questions you may have. The restaurant here is very good and the food is definitely worth trying!
A must to do in Aracaju. The museum is for free and there is option of tour in English and Spanish (need to make a reservation on the website). All the staff are so friendly and lovely and are there to help you out. Don't forget to cross the street and visit the statues of folklores from there. The museum is for all the ages and is super interactive.
Nadja Mayumi — Google review
At first sight, you'll see a pleasant building from the early 20th century. you can come into it because it's totally free to visit the place and, before you pass through control blocks, you won't be able to ignore a really tall statue from a Monalisa-like smiling lady. Her name is Maria Feliciana, and she was the tallest woman in the world for a long, long time.
Inside, this museum displays plenty of multi-colored objects, folkloric dresses and loads of ribbons when you look up. One very simple and interesting moment in the visiting is when you get in a boat to "sail" through the different biomes, who one of smaller State os Brazil has in its inside.
The last but not least this museum is a good way to understand how Brazilian culture was made by the content of three different peoples (Portuguese, Africans and indians) that throughout the times created something totally different in matter of culture and behavior.
The place is very much well conserved. There are some rooms with air-conditioned to keeping the temperature, in another the kind of construction building provides a pleasant temperature. Toilets are cleaned and I liked internship comments.
So, if you are at the capital of Sergipe State, this place is a must go to visit.

The encounter of the Sao Francisco River with the sea is a remarkable sight. Taking a boat from Brejo Grande and sailing for approximately an hour, visitors reach the mouth where they can walk around 200 meters to witness the merging of the waters. This location also offers craft shops and food stalls, providing an opportunity to indulge in local cuisine. A must-try is Dona Maria's delicious skewers at her bar.
If you're in the region, (a big if) this is the most beautiful place —the one not to miss. Take water (somehow) they don't allow the people to sell drinks of any kind, which is stupid as they allow them to sell food wrapped in plastic or foil, so it doesn't stop litter. It's special here though if you don't get too thirsty.

As you travel through the lagoon and pass through the city full of history, you may come across this incredible monument that is the São Francisco Mobile Dunes, from there you will see palm trees like a mirage, and when you arrive at the place it is like a paradise on an island desert with wonderful views and a beach with extremely crystal clear water but be careful! Very busy waters! Back to the side of the lagoon where the boats pull up on the promenade, families can bathe in waist-deep water without having to worry about children as the water has no waves, and we can also find the local residents' craft fair set up there. In the sand you can find everything from very tasty soft coconuts to beautiful clay sculptures... with such a low price that you won't find any in Maceió... oh, and the homemade popsicle is fantastic! Come to this meeting with Peace and happiness!

However, if you go there, NEVER go through Cvc, topTur, or any other tourism agency, as you only have a short stay (45 minutes) and have to do everything quickly. If you need to, rent a boat from one of the locals (you can ask the association) and go on the boat calmly, it's a little more expensive but it's much more worth it and you avoid getting angry. A place like this with wonderful people like this needs to be enjoyed calmly and in your own time.

Praia de Pajuçara is a bustling beach with tranquil waters and opportunities to take boat trips to famous pools just off the coast. The beach features soft white sand and calm, light blue waters with gentle waves, making it perfect for families looking to relax. Visitors can rent beach chairs for a reasonable price and enjoy a variety of snacks, drinks, and meals available for purchase.
Awesome beach, really worth visiting. Between November and March, if it's not crowded you just walk along the shore and you will be offered seats ("cadeiras") under a sunshade or sunbrella for R$30. It might get really crowded on Sundays.
Cristian Bravo Lillo — Google review
Plain awful. The water is disgusting and it is unclear as to whether the water is muddy or if it is sewage. We walked the entire length of the beach and didn’t find it suitable to get in at any point. The sand itself is fine. I cannot understand how this beach gets such high ratings. Avoid this beach if planning on getting in the water.

Disheartening how absolutely disgusting this beach is. Unless you are into loud sound bars from every other group, into piles of trash mixed with algae, and into muddy ocean floor, this place is not for you. The 2 stars go to how this beach looks from far away: pretty ocean reefs and blue sea water. Unfortunately up close, it is a disappointment. Avoid!

Nice place for shopping and eating, the beach is beautiful but bathing is more complicated due to the dumping of the open air sewer into the ocean... Go to Marechal Deodoro instead.
Praia de Paripueira is a stunning stretch of coastline with its golden sands, tranquil waters, and abundant tide pools filled with marine life. The place itself is very good, the room has everything you need to be comfortable: good mattress, good shower, large bathroom, good air conditioning. Breakfast is very good and complete. However, there are no markets in the surrounding area where you can buy food or even a bottle of water, so you must pay what the inn requests. This particular accommodation, because it is small and not on the beach, tries to provide you with lounge chairs and an umbrella. Anyway, at lunch time, you end up looking for a hostel, because the place does not provide food. And since in those places they give you the umbrella and the lounge chair with the drink you end up staying there, hahaha... at least that's what happened to us... The beach is nice, you can walk to the natural pools, I recommend wearing water shoes now there are hidden urchins and sharp corals under the water. The beach may not appeal to everyone, since the dynamics are determined by the rise and fall of the tide... for many hours the water reaches your knees no matter how much you walk (a kilometer calmly). Happy stay!

Feliz estancia!

This tour agency offers natural pools and coral reefs for swimming and snorkeling that are surrounded by white sand beaches. These waters are incredibly clear, giving them a very bright blue colour. There is plenty of variety in the fish and corals here, with some surprising colours and shapes. The catamaran trip here is definitely worth taking, as the pools are stunning on their own, but they're even more amazing when viewed from a boat high in the water.

Beautiful place where we can see clear water and several fishes. But it depends on weather and people crowded. It tales 20 to 30 minutes to reach here by boat.
I recommend to take snorkel set.

Without a doubt a must visit situation. The natural pools are amazing. Take care that you ask for the correct times. You need to make sure you get a catamaran. The service and prices are the beach are okay, nothing to crazy and as expected.

Tourists can enjoy activities like taking photos on rafts, snorkeling, and walking through the sea during low tide to see the corals and fish. (Translated by Google) I have to make some considerations about the beach and natural pools. To have a good experience, you have to buy the raft ride (R$50.00/person). I went on a day with a tide of 0.5, and cloudy weather, there were showers of rain. From the beach you can't see the beauty shown in the photographs, the water is a little murky. Because of the rain, water that contained sewage ran through the sand, it was in a tent on the left side of those arriving via the Porto de Galinhas sign. As the tide goes down, umbrellas will be set up in front of you, making the experience of staying on the sand chaotic. So pay attention to the ideal weather, tide and time of year conditions to avoid disappointment.

When I arrived it was raining but it was still possible to enjoy it. Sea of calm, warm and clear waters, in several points it is possible to observe the fish.
Here's a tip for family trips to save money in Porto. The city hall provides guides every morning who take you to visit some natural pools for free, it's worth waking up a little earlier to take advantage of the opportunity.
When dealing with commerce, I recommend preparing as things are very salty, but you can save money by looking carefully.

Paying 50 reais per person, they take you on some "Jangadas" (raft) to the pools and let you snorkel for 1 hour.
Important when going is:
-See tide table since it is important that the tide is low to take advantage of the reefs and see fish
-Go early so there are not many people

(Translated by Google) Scam Alert!
Unfortunately there are many "guides" approaching all the time and offering tours to the natural pools, they charge the same amount as the association R$50.00 (but the association has nothing to do with these guides) and an additional R$40.00 per person to take hundreds of photos, but when they arrived at the pools the photographer, who in my case was an Argentinian, took about 6 photos and wanted to charge another forty reais for the mid-water photo 😡 in other words, the tour would cost R$130.00 per person. My tip is just buy the tour directly from the association cabin, in the middle of the pools there are photographers or even rafters with Go Pro and other types of cameras who take those beautiful photos that we see on the internet, I don't know how much they charge but I certainly don't. This is nonsense!
Note: the tourism authorities, the association or I don't know who, should monitor this situation better, it is very uncomfortable and annoying to have to avoid these fraudulent approaches all the time.

Porto de Galinhas beach is one of the most popular in Pernambuco, with crystal clear waters and soft golden sand. The coconut trees and lush greenery make it a picturesque site, perfect for a day at the beach. There are also ecological trails to explore, as well as pools where you can cool off or swim.

I felt sorry of the ocean, full of chairs, umbrella, tables on the beach and food stalls, so commercial. and many rubbish, cigarettes 🚬, plastic stuff, and the water has floating oil and ting rubbish that's really disgusting.
