The Cristo Redentor monument is a stunning statue of Jesus Christ perched atop an observation tower, which provides visitors with breathtaking panoramic views. The monument offers sweeping vistas of the city and its surroundings, making it a popular tourist destination. However, due to its exposed location, visitors should be prepared for windy conditions when visiting. In addition to the incredible views, the statue itself is also a marvel of engineering and design that requires careful maintenance to keep it in pristine condition.
Very beautiful! Quite windy, give yourself time.

Fonte dos Amores is a picturesque tourist attraction that features a serene waterfall and rocky pools, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The site also boasts an impressive sculpture created by Italian artist Giulio Starace in 1929 depicting two young people embracing. This romantic spot has become increasingly popular for couples looking to capture special moments together. Additionally, the park surrounding the fountain is well-maintained and offers a pleasant retreat for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Nice place to visit 😀

Sad to see the privatization of places that belonged to the city and its citizens. Most attractions at Poços de Caldas are now private and closed at this time. Yes, you heard me... the attractions are closed except for the christ. Once they open again all attractions will be charged... locations that were free for more than 100 years will now be charged.
Needless to say, the Fonte dos Amores was closed. What saved the day were the monkeys who were coming to the gate to greet us. However, because the attraction has been closed, the monkeys have been hungry and tourists have been feeding them all types of foods even M&Ms.. so sad.

This is a very nice city trail by which I mean, your only one block outside a residential neighborhood and into the mata. Once on the trail you're immediately in dense foliage and on a steep, stairs-like climb for the next 500m. The last 100m or so is on open mountain exposed to sun and a view of your target, Christo. My observations, the trail could be more meandering through the jungle to get to the top rather than straight up. And of course, Brazilian style, there's a road for cars to drive to the top so you arrive into a parking lot, cars and the usual trash and noise. Check out the paragliding view on the backside!

I'll never travel to Campinas without this trip planner again
Pico do Gavião is an incredible destination with stunning natural beauty, perfect for camping and observing the sunrise. It offers a variety of activities, allowing visitors to meet diverse people from across Brazil and beyond. This amazing place is worth returning to repeatedly, as it boasts exciting attractions for both adventure seekers and those seeking tranquility. Additionally, it hosts events like blues festivals.
The best Take-off I have ever been. There is a small restaurant, where you can buy food and beverages, a small shop with t-shirt and other stuff.
There are toilets and drinkable water.
It is possible to take-off with different wind directions. All the take-offs are spacious.

(Translated by Google) The São João theater is truly magnificent and classic. Upon entering it, we are transported to the glory days of the theater. It is grand and beautiful. However, I didn't give it 5 stars due to the obvious need for better conservation; It is clear that it needs restoration and renovations both internally and externally. Furthermore, I didn't have the opportunity to visit or sit in the cabins on the upper floors, which I really wanted to do.

(Translated by Google) The Pirassununga Air Force Academy is an incredible place, especially the Air Demonstration Squadron, famous as the Smoke Squadron. I visited several times and was always impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the military. It's exciting to see the aerial acrobatics and feel the national pride that the Squadron conveys.
However, I would like to point out that the videos in the Google Maps review are from 2014, which may not completely reflect the current experience. It would be great if there were updates to provide a more accurate and recent view of activities and facilities. Furthermore, the commitment of the soldiers and corporals, some of whom are friends of mine, is notable, contributing to the excellence of the Fumaça Squadron. The Air Force Academy is a national treasure, and I hope the information on Google Maps can be updated to further reflect its grandeur and importance.

Organization of the event leaves something to be desired. Large parking lot and well organized by army officers. Small food court and a long time to take orders. Almost 1 hour to pick up a pastry, it could have been more planned as they already knew the number of people at the event. But I still recommend it!!!

Where: Praça Adhemas de Barros, Aguas da Lindoia
What: A public park

Natália Bandeira — Google review
It is a high spot, but the view is not exactly breath taking.
Reaching the top is not for someone who is out of shape, it could even be a health risk for those with heart health issues. There is about 8meters of stairs to climb and the stairs are not so well made as some of them are low steps and some are hi steps, this can be a problem going back down too.
When you reach the top, however, you will be rewarded with a beautiful picturesque view of the town in the valley below. In my opinion it's worth the effort if your health will allow it. I really really enjoyed it and it is a memory I will savor for years to come.

The fresh cassava bread was delicious. The place is very pleasant, well decorated with antique kitchen items, very country. Very pleasant. The room where she welcomes us was an old coffee barn. Beautiful wood on the lining and wooden flooring on the original floor. There is a boring climb up the dirt road, but nothing dramatic. Just be careful if you have a low car.

The collection is super interesting, containing everything from replicas of older devices to cell phones from just a few years ago. The attendant was super friendly and helpful in providing us with information. And all this without paying absolutely anything. Worth the visit.

Ótima experiência! O museu passou a ser administrado recentemente pela Prefeitura de Bragança Paulista. O prédio está em ótimo estado de conservação, diferente de avaliações feitas há alguns anos. You can see a wide range of cell phone devices, the so-called "phone phones" that worked with a telephone card and very old ones that required an operator. You can even see the telephone used by an emperor.
The collection is incredible, well maintained and has a great reception.

Dá para ver aparelhos muito diversos de celulares, os chamados "orelhões" que funcionavam com cartão telefônico e os bem antigos que precisavam da figura da telefonista. Dá para ver até o tefone usado por um imperador.

Shopping Nations Limeira
Shopping mall
Shopping
Shopping Nations Limeira is an indoor retail center that houses popular national chain stores, a expansive dining area, and a cinema. Perfect for those who prefer quieter environments, this shopping mall offers a cozy atmosphere with limited options for purchasing clothing and food. However, it does feature departments dedicated to domestic electronics products, which can be intriguing for tech enthusiasts. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a fun bowling experience here, although prices may be on the higher side.
The best

If you are like me and don't really like busy places and noise this is a great Shopping you may find in Limeira, it's good for the infrastructure that makes this place really cozy, but it has a lack of options for buying things like clothes and food, it has some departments of domestic electronics products that is interesting if you want to buy things like this. It has a really nice bowling place that is cool but the prices are pretty high, not much to do there except for take a walk around watch a movie perhaps and eat an ice cream. Not a bad place, but it could be slightly better

The Municipal Observatory of Campinas Jean Nicolini, established in 1977, is a remarkable astronomical facility that offers exclusive telescope-equipped visits by appointment. This exquisite observatory provides an unparalleled opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the night sky without the hindrance of urban lights and atmospheric pollution. Even without utilizing their impressive telescopes (which are highly recommended), one can still perceive a striking disparity in the display of stars, planets, and even the Milky Way.

Very beautiful, wonderful! Nothing better than really looking at the sky, without the lights and fog of the city. You don't even need to use the awesome telescopes they provide (though you can and should) to see the difference. The stars, the planets, the milky way... I won't spoil it to you, so just come. Estrada do Capricórnio – Serra das Cabras Distrito de, Campinas - SP, 13106-001, Brazil
Located in the outskirts of Campinas, Parque D. Pedro Shopping is a sprawling enclosed mall with diverse retail options, a cinema and an airy food court with chain cafes. It receives 18 million visitors per year and contains 399 stores including 30 anchor stores, 20 restaurants, 49 fast-food outlets, a movie theater complex with 15 theaters, conference center and 8,000 parking spaces. In 2015 the mall expanded to include new gastronomic options at Alameda Parde D. Pedro.
Well designed mall with a central hub that allows for quick travel between stores without having to do a full circuit. Sprawling, lively food court with many options and plenty of seating. Good mix of big box and specialty stores that appeal to a broad range of consumers. Interesting artistic elements. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a tourist.

It was crowded on Sunday, a little difficult to find a place to park the car. But I have no complains about the mall, its infrastructure is outstanding. Also, despite such a great circulation of people all day long, it's a very clean place.

Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
Beautiful park (with free parking), well maintained with a nice 2.7km walking trail. The big boat was neat but only open weekends to go inside. The lake and all of the wildlife gathered around it (including capybara and cats) was very fun! The workout equipment is a neat idea, and they had water fountains and clean washrooms!!!
Brandon Morton — Google review
Better with family.
This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain.
There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids.
Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained.
It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.
Ben Sperry — Google review
This is a very big park, with no entrance fee! I was impressed to see capybaras chilling everywhere. There is a Planetarium, but i advise to first check out the opening hours. There's a huge ship you can get on and several food stalls with delicious snacks.

Definitely my favorite park in Campinas! Amazing green scenery views, river, trees, capybaras everywhere. Delicious Açaí and ice cream are the bonus. Very clean and animal friendly park.
There are many street cats but they love people and people take care of them too. One of my father in law's cats is from this park and he named her "Serena".

Nice park, you can run (2,75km)or walk. In the weekends there are peddle boats. It has s theatre and BBQ areas. Plus playgrounds and evcersise areas. It also has the old city tram running in the weekends, there are toilets and foodtrucks(outside the gate).

It's one of the most known places in Campinas. It's a classic park you should visit if you are in town.
A lot of trees, tracks for walking/running and cycling. There is a big lagoon in the inside with an inner track. A lot of sports courts (basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc) of cement and sand.
It's a very good place to spend a few hours.
It's lacking some conservation and it doesn't allow pets inside, sadly.
More recently it is hosting some cultural activities and during August 2019 there was the DegustArt festival there with a lot of known restaurants serving food and drinks in small portions. It was very tasty! A fun fact: there was a lot of people from iFood (using the typical "motorcycle delivery uniform") grabbing the order on the table, going to the restaurants stands, taking the order and bringing to you. It was a cool plus.

The place is perfect for getting a live experience of Brazilian flora. It is probably the only - and certainly the best - Botanical Garden in Campinas Region. Jequitibá Woods Park is a vast and lush urban park in the city, attracting around a million visitors annually. The park boasts of an extensive native forest reserve that houses a zoo with over 300 species of animals including large felines, meerkats, hippos and blue macaws. In addition to its impressive wildlife and vegetation, the park also features several facilities such as Casa do Caboclo, Museum of Natural History, Carlos Maia Theater and Municipal Aquarium.
Very nice park. There are several exotic animals, many of them were rescued and were given shelter here. There are also wild, free animals like these cute agouti roaming everywhere in the park. It was a very enjoyable stroll around the park.

Very nice park/zoo in the center of the city. Must visit. Amazing for just walking around and reading a book. You do not pay to enter this park so I was surprised it is well taken care of. Only problem is Brazilian people who do not pick up garbage after their visit!
For anyone who is against zoos this place is more of a rescue center... research and stop being so negative. They are just trying to help these animals. Releasing them will kill them! Also this is educational for all kids and adults. Look at all the beauty it offers.
Maj — Google review
The park is nice, great diversity of trees and bushes. But what I think is cruel, is to keep wild animals in captivity. They don't deserve to live this way. People in Campinas should change their minds and ask the municipality to free those animals, or at least take them to some kind of reserve outside the city, where they could roam a little. Lions and Leopards are kept in small compounds without even a little bit of green. Birds are living in small cages, which avoid them from flying.

Bosque is an incredible oasis in the middle of the city. It’s the perfect spot to grab a green coconut, walk in the shade, and see some amazing animals. Some animals do show signs of stress, but many seem healthy and relatively happy. Don’t count on seeing sloths though! Seems like they’re more of an urban legend in Bosque. Sometimes there’s an official parking lot monitor to help you get in and out of an otherwise incredibly small lot.
