Not tourist friendly.
Staff can’t speak any word English.
On the site there is a price at 40, but on arrival they double it. When we wanted to order online the website did not work.
Then the cashier Said we could not enter because it will rain soon.
After multiple times asking we could go in, but lost apxm one hour at entrance!

We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise

Silvio Silva dos santos — Google review
The food seemed reasonable to me.
Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good.
The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details.
The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!)
We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything.
It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

Lovely place! At weekends it is the favorite spot of bikers and motorcycle riders, since the road to the station is very pleasant. You may want to take a spin in a historically important train known as "Velha Senhora", the Old Lady, and feel what it was like to travel via railroads back in the 20's. After that, don't forget to visit the brewery in front of the station and treat yourself with some good beer and appetizers. Only way you won't enjoy any of it is if you're the kind of person who can't slow it down or be patient. Seriously. Not for rushers.

What I liked of this station
- the square and the station
- the shops and restaurants nearby ready to welcome tourists either by train or their own cars
- the atmosphere as it was very clear everything was made to welcome people
- there was live music being played in the square by local artists

Iara Cristina Stein — Google review
Very organized shopping center with ample parking space. There is a good variety of quality products, a movie theater, and restaurants. The prices are typically more elevated but this is a general rule in shopping centers/malls in Brazil.
Nassim Dhaher — Google review
It's very basic, it's a simple place full of low budget stores. The cinemas are great, but 99% of the movies shown are dubbed in Portuguese. The bowling alley is nice, great place to eat.
Luis Colarino — Google review
I'm a tourist from the U.S and one of my favorite things to do is to see the difference between malls in different countries. Let's just say Brazilian malls are one of my new favorites. I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.
Larissa Mori — Google review
A not so huge space. A congested environment during weekend. Just like other malls the ambience is the same and restaurants as usual are crowded. No English speaking guide and Walmart in it is the added advantage. Walmart is not so big as we normally see but a good place for a one stop shop

The Sao Paulo Cathedral is a large, neo-gothic building located in the heart of the city. It features a Renaissance-style dome and was completed in 1967. The cathedral is distinctive for its green roof and its two towering towers.
Call god.
This cathedral is so beautiful. Weather your religious or not this is an amazing work of art. The tapestry’s, mosaics, stained glass, columns and the pulpit are just amazing. It cost nothing to enter and take pictures just be respectful of the people there that might be going through some things.
David Montes — Google review
Feels like the heart of downtown Sao Paulo. A combination of tourists and locals generating an authentic experience. Feel the hustle and bustling grit of the locals working right outside on the steps and take in all the sights and experiences. Beautiful mosaic glass and respected aura within the walls.
john d Lin — Google review
Beautiful and unique cathedral, one of the tallest I have seen, an incredible creation in the heart of Sao Paulo.
We visited around 6pm, and as can be seen from other reviews, there are a lot of homeless people in the square around the cathedral which may intimidate some tourists, we didn't experience any issues and we noted that there were many fellow tourists visiting and taking pictures outside. There was a strong police presence to help to keep people safe.
Adam — Google review
Incredible place to be at! Amazing architecture! Only draw back was outside... tons of homeless everywhere. On the steps, in the park, tents scattered everywhere you look. It's a shame the city couldn't keep up the outside area better, but once you are in, it's pretty amazing!
Adam Stubbe — Google review
The Cathedral da Sé in São Paulo is an absolute must-see. Its impressive architecture and cultural significance make it a standout attraction. Plus, the best part is, there’s no admission fee – making it an accessible and enriching experience for anyone exploring the city. But be mindful of your belongings, especially in the slightly run-down neighborhood.

Great cathedral in the heart of Sao Paulo. Enjoy the outside area with the flying buttresses and gothic front. Visit the San Paulo statue in front and enjoy the shade of trees. Walking up the wide stairs to the entrance. Beautiful stained glass inside with large chandeliers, hard wood pews and a high ceiling.
John Harris — Google review
Gorgeous architecture, and the service was loud enough that I didn't feel we were encroaching. The structure, murals, statues, and paintings were stunning and well worth the trip.
Maiku Marianda — Google review
I came here specifically to see the crypt.
It was cool, and I had an amazing guide show us around.
It was a small group which was nice and it meant there was room for everyone and plenty of time to ask questions.
I was encouraged to take photos by our guide. She was so friendly and made my visit more enjoyable.
There were many homeless people sitting outside on the steps, and there was a police van parked to the side of the entrance.
The cathedral is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Kitty — Google review
It's a nice big cathedral, particularly for Brazilian standards. The stained glass windows are pretty and the bizantine murals inside are a bit unusual for such a new church. It's worth a quick stroll by if you are in the area.
Alex Zepka — Google review
Had an amazing experience touring the Cathedral. Took the Tour - Completo (both the church and the cript) for R$60. Tickets can be purchased directly at the store / loja and administative office inside.
Lucia was genuinely helpful and eager to help explaining the history behind the church.
Location is pretty walkable, and just like many other massive metro areas in the world, will need to procreed with slightly higher caution. The police and militaty presence does help adding a little safety net.
Overall, if given the opportunity, do visit the church.

I visited Avenida Paulista on Feb 2021, right on the day the State of Sao Paulo announced another lockdown. I thought there will be no people out on the streets but I was so wrong. People can still roam around freely. I'm so glad I decided to travel to Brazil beginning of Feb 2021. I had fun seeing the city and the people. With the help of the subway (plus the subway fare is so cheap), visiting point A to point B isn't that complicated. I had fun! I take all photos myself, even my selfie! Check out my IG- @jl.dormido

Av. Anchieta - Jardim das Americas, São José dos Campos - SP, 12242-280, Brazil
The Mercado Municipal de São Paulo is a historical building with stands selling rare fruit, vegetables, and dairy produce, as well as a food court. The market's specialty is mortadella sandwiches; for the definitive version, try the crowded upstairs Hocca Bar. Ki Peixe also serves big flat oysters shucked to order while you wait for your fish to be cleaned.
A very large and beautiful market with lots to see. If you're visiting, there are lots of unique local items to purchase here. I loved seeing all the hand made items that were being made there. There are great restaurants on the second floor as well. The mortadella sandwiches are an absolute must try! They are heavy but extremely delicious.
Pedram Esm — Google review
Loved how beautiful the food looks, the building has great features too. Too bad you get the feeling you have to excuse yourself if you don't want to try the products from every other stand. I can imagine some people like to sample everything, but I don't feel comfortable. The famous sandwich is great, but a bit too much meat, but hey that's the typical Brazilian style!

The Pinacoteca de São Paulo is an art museum located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is one of the most important museums in Brazil, and its collection skews heavily towards the Brazilian Modernists. The museum has an 11,000-works-strong collection, and its building was designed by Pritzker Architecture prize-winner Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
I loved this museum. I have been to many museusm around the world, but I found the experience here to be extremely unique. Each room you enter had a placard that not only explained the exhibit, but asked thought provoking questions, that made you really view the exhibit with an open mind. This was definitely a very unique experience. And the building itself was also a work of art to be enjoyed. Make sure you give yourself at least 3 hours here to really walk through all the museum has to offer.
Pedram Esm — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun.
The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean.
The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.
Georgi Bianchi — Google review
This is truly one of the best museums in the world. Pinacoteca is one of those places that you would need days to truly understand and decompress.
With a great collection of Brazilian Modernist Era, the museum’s architecture details its a must all by itself.
Besides it’s great collection the museum also have temporary exhibitions with great artists, so it be good to check it before attending.
The tickets to temporary exhibitions and weekends tends to sold out very quickly, and there is one day of the week when you can get in for free.
If you’re going by public transportation be careful to the surroundings, the neighborhood it’s not dangerous but don’t be distracted with your belongings.
Also take some time to walk in the garden with lots of sculptures by different artists is a very enjoyable experience by itself.
If you wanna take some pictures I suggest the afternoon lighting that entes that glass ceiling, it’s just idyllic.
Tharciso Azanki — Google review
Very interesting place, pretty cheap parking and you can enter Pinacoteca galleries for free. Garden is very nice as well, I’m hot days you will appreciate shade made by trees.
Vlastimil Kucera — Google review
Very well organised museum. Great place to get familiar with Brazilian modern art. Allocate at least three hours to properly review the collection. Highly recommended.
Aleksei Kaliukin — Google review
This museum is one of the oldest in São Paulo. The art collection is huge, each room is overflowing with different pieces. In a way it is actually quite overwhelming and intense, it’s difficult to digest the sheer amount. There is no flowing journey or consistency. There is deep contrast not just room to room, but often throughout a room. You would need to spend an entire day here to truly begin to appreciate and digest what’s on display. It’s quite remarkable at the same time. I recommend a visit.

The Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo is one of the most prominent art museums in Sao Paulo, located next to Estação da Luz, which is connected to the Metro Yellow Line. Entry is totally free on Saturdays (and on Thursday nights, 6pm to 10 pm)
The Pinacoteca's was designed by Ramos de Azevedo, building is a beautiful example of Brazilian architecture from the early 20th century. In 1998, it went through a masterful renovation process, designed by the Pritzer Prize laureate, architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The museum's interior gallery spaces are well thought out and provides an excellent backdrop for the art on display. The galleries are spacious. The natural light of the atriums, connected by steel bridges is the perfect symbiosis between the classic building and contemporary architecture.
The museum's café in the underground floor connects with Praça da Luz, providing an exuberant view of the park and a relaxing atmosphere, a pleasant and calm space that could make you forget you're in the fourth most populated city on earth (and one of the most dangerous areas of Sao Paulo).
The museum's collection is vast, covering a range of styles and periods, with an emphasis on Brazilian art from the 19th century to the present day. The Pinacoteca is especially known for its collection of modernist art, featuring works by well-known Brazilian artists such as Tarsila do Amaral, Anita Malfatti, and Lasar Segall. Additionally, the museum has an extensive collection of photographs, engravings, and drawings, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of Brazilian art history.
Overall, the Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo is a world-class, must-visit for anyone interested in Brazilian art and culture. The museum's impressive collection, beautiful architecture, and commitment to education make it one of the most important cultural institutions one could ask for.

Must see museum in São Paulo. Beautiful building with nice sights to Estação da Luz.
Exhibitions are very well organized and inviting.
The only downside is that the museum surroundings tend to be not so safe when police is not around. But if you are an average Brazilian you will be able to handle it just fine.

Even since before I planned my trip to Brazil I knew I wanted to visit the Pinacoteca at one point in my life. The building is reminiscent of a classical temple, and has a massive collection of works in all plastic arts. I loved the educational focus of the exhibits, the fact that they are arranged by topic and not by region or century, and all the accessibility infrastructure all around. Truly one of the best museums I have been to in Brazil.

(Translated by Google) Pico da Pedra Partida is the second highest in the Monte Verde region and has a beautiful view of much of the Paraíba Valley.
The access trail has indicative signs and red ribbons on some trees along the way, especially in places that may raise questions.
It took us 1 hour to climb the approximately 900m to the top. And on the way back we only spent 40 minutes.
At the top there is a sign indicating the altitude and name, great for photos.
The downside is restricted access by MOVE, which charges R$35.90/person. This amount could very well be used for a "single pass" with access to the 5 peaks in the region. This would both attract more tourists and capture the resources necessary for improvements and conservation of the site.

The trail has 2 viewpoints (close to the final destination). Go with good shoes, water, a blouse and long pants.
I recommend leaving in the morning, preferably before 9, to avoid the midday sun on top of the broken stone.

A trilha possui 2 mirantes (próximos ao destino final). Vá com um calçado bom, água, uma blusa e calça comprida.
Recomendo sair de manhã, preferencialmente antes das 9, para evitar o sol do meio dia no topo da pedra partida.

Trilha da Pedra Redonda is a relatively easy hiking trail that starts at the end of Av. das Montanhas or can be reached from the Plato trail. It takes about an hour to complete and offers a tranquil experience through lush greenery. The trail leads to a 1990m rounded peak, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers are advised to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, bring water, and apply sunscreen due to windy conditions on the rocks and intense sun exposure.

Awesome outdoor outlet mall! There are many options, some on the higher priced name brand. Variety of restaurants throughout and a small food court area. Great walking and shopping atmosphere. The only reason I am giving 4, not 5 stars, is due to the parking, on busy days it can be very difficult to find parking. The parking lot doesn't keep track of spaces so you can find yourself entering the paid lot and not finding a spot and then have to exit and drive around to the added parking garage which is also paid parking and also doesn't keep track of the vehicle count.
Shawn Hart — Google review
I have driven by this place many times without knowing it was even there. It was only when I saw Rafa Ribeiro post about it on Instagram I decided to visit, since I was passing.
The place looks great, however, when we visited on a Tuesday lunchtime, the place was packed! Parking was stressful and could use some management or guidance. People were parked everywhere, literally! To my surprise we did find a space.
We were hungry, and wow, every food place was packed, and the seated restaurants had huge waits, so it would seem best to arrive earlier and make sure the first thing you do is book a restaurant, or eat before you come.
There was a great mix of stores, however the busiest and most popular stores, like NIKE and Adidas seemed on the small side, they were packed with customers, and surely could use larger stores.
As for the prices, maybe for Brazil is good, but even with the favourable exchange rate from the UK the European stores seemed expensive for sure.
I would visit again, but would hope to find a quieter time.

Wet'n Wild is an expansive and vibrant water park with a multitude of slides, a wave pool, and occasional DJ-led events. While the food court options are limited and slightly expensive, children often delight in the burger meals available. Moreover, there are also more affordable snack choices that benefit parents financially. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and amiable. However, one drawback is the steep price for parking at 50R$, especially when considering the already high ticket price of 99R$.
The park didn't have many options of food courts, the food is a bit pricey but kids always enjoy to get the burguer meals. Options of cheaper snacks are also available which is a plus for the parent's pockets ! :)
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The only bad side is the expensive car park ! 50R$ seems a bit much when you pay 99R$ for the ticket itself (whhe buying in advance and not in a combo, with a combo is cheaper).

Avoid at all costs during the weekend.
I went with my 14 yo kid and 10 of his friends. Here is our journey:
* Parking is well organized and reasonably priced (r$ 60)
* It took us 75 minutes to get in the park - that's because we bought tickets in advance. There was no shade, drinks or staff in the entrance line
* We had to wait 60 minutes more in line to get a locker.
* We chose a ride that was not too busy. We "only" had to wait 45 minutes in line. That means that it took three hours from the time we arrived to the time we took our first ride.
* The kids took another ride and off we went for lunch. 35 minutes in line, and the tables were dirty and full of flies. What an unforgettable experience to have lunch surrounded by thousands of flies.
* We took one most popular rides in the afternoon and it was time to go.
* In a nutshell, we arrived at 10am and left at 4 pm, for a total of 6 hours in the park. We took 3-4 rides, each of which lasted about 45 seconds. That averages out to 2 hours wait for every minute of riding.
* Staff is friendly, but poorly trained. When we want to buy an ice cream, it took staff 3 minutes to sell one popsicle.
* Management don't apparently enforce any capacity limit to the park. There were clearly four times more people in the park that there should be. There is zero chance lifeguard could see any kid drowning - which luckily didn't happen.
* There is medical examination to be in the park - and there were a few people with obvious and apparent skin diseases that shouldn't be there.
That, combined with a 35 degrees Celsius temperature made this trip the worst trip of my last 20 years of life (where I have been travelling extensively for work and tourism across 25+ countries in 5 continents)

Great day out, I really enjoyed this water park and my 11year old neice also had fun. The park wasn't busy, queues were short, it was clean and tidy and the food and drink on offer was of a good enough standard. Its not as fun as i remembered and I got hurt in qll the rides.
Make sure to buy tickets before you go, otherwise you pay $50 more. Plus another $50 just for parking, and another $30 for a locker. Like I said, abusive.

My wife always talk to me that would she like to go in a water club. Although, we live in a city with beach she prefers fresh water. The last month we went to Jundiaí SP and we resolve have fun in a club, so we choose Wet'n Wild. I already paid 50R$ only to park my car under the sun. inside the club we wasted some time find place for accommodation but I not found. However, we like the wave swim and the place for kids. Finally we went have a meal and one more time wast more time in the line. When our time arrived there weren't desks available we had eat standing up under the sun.

Fun Water Park, a lots of waterslides, relaxing lazy river and big wave pool.
Amusement park featuring 5 themed areas with roller coasters, a river raft ride & a kids' zone.
Super legal! Great amusement park for the whole family. Each area has its own special magic, from Egypt to The Wild West. Hopi Hari is growing and I'm excited to see what comes in the future!
Jason Widawski — Google review
Hopi Hari is a nice theme park to spend a day. I highly recommend purchasing the VIP pass because the line wait times prevented us from riding all the rides; the VIP pass is quite expensive though. The rides we rode were fun and the evening show was amazing! The food quality was average but I enjoyed the bacon and cheddar fries.
Lindsay Castano — Google review
It's a good place, the biggest problem is there's no free water to drink, covid is over already but you can't find water, only way it's to buy a water bottle.
The hamburger is really bad but at least is cheap, the buildings is in need of repairs.
Now on the good side, a lot of attractions, a big team to help you, organized line and almost all works are smiling.
Matheus Martins — Google review
I paid R$130 to go in 12th of September of 2021. I managed to do go to just 1 ride (the teacup that spins). All the lines were at least 02h30 long. I used to go there as a kid, but it is not the same thing anymore, they don't respect the customer, and even though lines are common in every amusement park, nothing is like Hopi Hari, and I've been to over 20 amusement parks in 4 different continents.

It’s a very nice amusement park in São Paulo! Definitely gonna come again!
MsKrystl — Google review
The place is great but they let too many people in at the same time. I paid R$129 for my ticket and I managed to go on two rides. I had to stay in the queue for just under two hours for each ride which is totally unacceptable. Would really think twice about going back again. Very unfortunate as this was the same experience for thousands of other people who paid this price for a fun day out. Not to mention the expensive car park fee too.
David Kelleher — Google review
The park is old, lacks maintenance, is rusty, and outdated. We paid more than 200 BRL per person for a standard pass at the entrance because we couldn't buy tickets online, and it wasn't worth it. The queues for the main attractions took more than an hour, even though we went on a Monday, expecting it to be less crowded. However, school groups were present, ensuring long lines. The only redeeming feature was the live shows. In conclusion, I don't recommend visiting this park.
Miguel Angel Guerrero — Google review
Great place! The day I visited (Feb 9th 2019) the park was very clean and with just a few people inside, I would say 2500 people. The lines were incredibly fast. The restaurants had slow service. The park is recovering from a strong crisis. It has been refurbished and everything is shining new, but the low number of visitors is still a sign that it still have a long way to go. But I loved it! 10!

A great place to spend a day with or without children.
There are lots of different and varied facilities.
It is not possible to pay on the spot in cash just to recharge a card or credit card.
The icing on the cake was that anyone who has a birthday gets another card as a gift 🤩
Yifat Ten Ami — Google review
We went with our 6-year-old and had lots of fun. Although there are minimum height limits, but she was able to enjoy what she could go on to.
I recommend buying tickets on the internet in advance because you get a discount instead of buying on the same day.
Vitória Kuo — Google review
Great park with very interesting concept: the place is its own country, and fun is the main rule. Unfortunately, they've always had financial issues, which currently leads to ever-in-maintenance attractions and the feeling that all of its potential is going to waste. Some of the coolest attractions were closed on February-21, when we visited the park.
Employees are polite and gentle, but nothing compares to the reception at the entrance: clowns and other artists sing, dance and welcome the public, with contagious joy and excitement. They also seem concerned about COVID and wearing a mask is required at 100% of times, besides every attraction is cleaned with alcohol after a guest leaves.
Attractions are not as radical as they seem, but roller coasters are definitely worth the experience. The wooden one is not only impressive, but it also crosses the road near the park, and is an unique experience.
To avoid the kilometric lines, it's recommended to acquire a VIP pass. However, it costs BRL 120 or more (depending on the day), twice the entrance ticket value. This is expensive for Brazilian standards, but unfortunately it's the only way to have fun and enjoy your day at the park without wasting hours waiting in line.
Food is overall too expensive and not tasty, so it's also recommended to take some snacks and try not to eat much. Taking water and sunscreen is also the most important thing and this is located on the countryside, and sun seems to hit differently when compared to São Paulo.
To save money, take an Uber from Jundiaí train station.
Overall, park fans can get a great experience for an expensive price. I wouldn't recommend it for people who are not willing to spend money, people who are not already willing to give it a chance, or very tall or large people (attractions seem designed for smaller and skinnier people. Most are not fit for people above 120kg, so a bigger person wouldn't fit a roller coaster seat, for example)

Parque Ecológico Prefeito Dr. Clain Ferrari is a scenic city park located next to a creek. It features abundant foliage, walking trails, diverse fauna, and play equipment for children. This picturesque park offers an ideal setting for capturing beautiful family photos amidst the lush trees and colorful flowers. The surroundings also attract numerous fitness enthusiasts who take advantage of the designated cycling paths.
It's the most Beautiful park that I've ever been to, with lot of trees and flowers, this place is perfect to you take a beautiful photo with your family.
You can see lot of people exercising aroud the park as there is a good lane for cyclists
However sometimes you can fell a bad smell from the lake but it's only happend after it rains.
So, if you want to get away from the noise of the big city and enjoy nature, here is the right place.

Jequitibá Woods Park is a vast and lush urban park in the city, attracting around a million visitors annually. The park boasts of an extensive native forest reserve that houses a zoo with over 300 species of animals including large felines, meerkats, hippos and blue macaws. In addition to its impressive wildlife and vegetation, the park also features several facilities such as Casa do Caboclo, Museum of Natural History, Carlos Maia Theater and Municipal Aquarium.
Very nice park. There are several exotic animals, many of them were rescued and were given shelter here. There are also wild, free animals like these cute agouti roaming everywhere in the park. It was a very enjoyable stroll around the park.

Beautiful FREE park in Campinas with tons of animals, birds and beautiful vegetation. Do be mindful of your surroundings though since there are some shady characters there. It is generally safe though.

Very nice park/zoo in the center of the city. Must visit. Amazing for just walking around and reading a book. You do not pay to enter this park so I was surprised it is well taken care of. Only problem is Brazilian people who do not pick up garbage after their visit!
For anyone who is against zoos this place is more of a rescue center... research and stop being so negative. They are just trying to help these animals. Releasing them will kill them! Also this is educational for all kids and adults. Look at all the beauty it offers.
Maj — Google review
The park is nice, great diversity of trees and bushes. But what I think is cruel, is to keep wild animals in captivity. They don't deserve to live this way. People in Campinas should change their minds and ask the municipality to free those animals, or at least take them to some kind of reserve outside the city, where they could roam a little. Lions and Leopards are kept in small compounds without even a little bit of green. Birds are living in small cages, which avoid them from flying.

Bosque is an incredible oasis in the middle of the city. It’s the perfect spot to grab a green coconut, walk in the shade, and see some amazing animals. Some animals do show signs of stress, but many seem healthy and relatively happy. Don’t count on seeing sloths though! Seems like they’re more of an urban legend in Bosque. Sometimes there’s an official parking lot monitor to help you get in and out of an otherwise incredibly small lot.

Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
Beautiful park (with free parking), well maintained with a nice 2.7km walking trail. The big boat was neat but only open weekends to go inside. The lake and all of the wildlife gathered around it (including capybara and cats) was very fun! The workout equipment is a neat idea, and they had water fountains and clean washrooms!!!

Better with family.
This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain.
There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids.
Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained.
It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.

It's one of the most known places in Campinas. It's a classic park you should visit if you are in town.
A lot of trees, tracks for walking/running and cycling. There is a big lagoon in the inside with an inner track. A lot of sports courts (basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc) of cement and sand.
It's a very good place to spend a few hours.
It's lacking some conservation and it doesn't allow pets inside, sadly.
More recently it is hosting some cultural activities and during August 2019 there was the DegustArt festival there with a lot of known restaurants serving food and drinks in small portions. It was very tasty! A fun fact: there was a lot of people from iFood (using the typical "motorcycle delivery uniform") grabbing the order on the table, going to the restaurants stands, taking the order and bringing to you. It was a cool plus.

Located in the outskirts of Campinas, Parque D. Pedro Shopping is a sprawling enclosed mall with diverse retail options, a cinema and an airy food court with chain cafes. It receives 18 million visitors per year and contains 399 stores including 30 anchor stores, 20 restaurants, 49 fast-food outlets, a movie theater complex with 15 theaters, conference center and 8,000 parking spaces. In 2015 the mall expanded to include new gastronomic options at Alameda Parde D. Pedro.
Well designed mall with a central hub that allows for quick travel between stores without having to do a full circuit. Sprawling, lively food court with many options and plenty of seating. Good mix of big box and specialty stores that appeal to a broad range of consumers. Interesting artistic elements. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a tourist.

Reaching the top is not for someone who is out of shape, it could even be a health risk for those with heart health issues. There is about 8meters of stairs to climb and the stairs are not so well made as some of them are low steps and some are hi steps, this can be a problem going back down too.
When you reach the top, however, you will be rewarded with a beautiful picturesque view of the town in the valley below. In my opinion it's worth the effort if your health will allow it. I really really enjoyed it and it is a memory I will savor for years to come.

Stayed for a couple days, the area is beautiful especially the view from atop the mountain. Every single person on staff were extremely kind and helpful. They made us very comfortable in their chalet while we stayed and enjoyed their animals and activities. The food was also quite good and gave a good selection. We spent a day here Christmas Eve 2018, and had a great time. Five of us did a combination of horseback riding (both short and long rides), four wheeler expeditions up the mountains, zip lining on both short and long lines (the longest one goes from the top of Morro Pelado back down to the main site, about a 1.1km run), and had an awesome buffet lunch. We could have done more, but ran out of time (they closed early, at 4PM on Christmas Eve, which is only to be expected!). Next time we'll stay at their new hotel and have a couple of days to take it in. I'd recommend this without reservation to just about anyone, but especially to families with kids who are adventurous.

I have spent 3 nights at one of the family chalets. Loved the homemade food at breakfast and dinner time.
Unfortunately, the weather was not the best and, we only got a chance to take photos of the infinity pool they have on the very last day.
Outdoor activities were also a great call. My family and I went on an adventurous ride in a buggy (aka gaiola) to the highest point of the city where we could see both the cities of Monte Sião and Águas de Lindóia. My husband rode a horse and did airsoft gun shot practice. We had a blast doing archery and arvorismo as well.
