I like old Train Station.
Ale Diniz — Google review
Lovely place! At weekends it is the favorite spot of bikers and motorcycle riders, since the road to the station is very pleasant. You may want to take a spin in a historically important train known as "Velha Senhora", the Old Lady, and feel what it was like to travel via railroads back in the 20's. After that, don't forget to visit the brewery in front of the station and treat yourself with some good beer and appetizers. Only way you won't enjoy any of it is if you're the kind of person who can't slow it down or be patient. Seriously. Not for rushers.

- the square and the station
- the shops and restaurants nearby ready to welcome tourists either by train or their own cars
- the atmosphere as it was very clear everything was made to welcome people
- there was live music being played in the square by local artists

We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise

The food seemed reasonable to me.
Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good.
The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details.
The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!)
We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything.
It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

The Pinacoteca de São Paulo is an art museum located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is one of the most important museums in Brazil, and its collection skews heavily towards the Brazilian Modernists. The museum has an 11,000-works-strong collection, and its building was designed by Pritzker Architecture prize-winner Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
I loved this museum. I have been to many museusm around the world, but I found the experience here to be extremely unique. Each room you enter had a placard that not only explained the exhibit, but asked thought provoking questions, that made you really view the exhibit with an open mind. This was definitely a very unique experience. And the building itself was also a work of art to be enjoyed. Make sure you give yourself at least 3 hours here to really walk through all the museum has to offer.
Pedram Esm — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun.
The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean.
The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.
Georgi Bianchi — Google review
This is truly one of the best museums in the world. Pinacoteca is one of those places that you would need days to truly understand and decompress.
With a great collection of Brazilian Modernist Era, the museum’s architecture details its a must all by itself.
Besides it’s great collection the museum also have temporary exhibitions with great artists, so it be good to check it before attending.
The tickets to temporary exhibitions and weekends tends to sold out very quickly, and there is one day of the week when you can get in for free.
If you’re going by public transportation be careful to the surroundings, the neighborhood it’s not dangerous but don’t be distracted with your belongings.
Also take some time to walk in the garden with lots of sculptures by different artists is a very enjoyable experience by itself.
If you wanna take some pictures I suggest the afternoon lighting that entes that glass ceiling, it’s just idyllic.

Very well organised museum. Great place to get familiar with Brazilian modern art. Allocate at least three hours to properly review the collection. Highly recommended.
Aleksei Kaliukin — Google review
This museum is one of the oldest in São Paulo. The art collection is huge, each room is overflowing with different pieces. In a way it is actually quite overwhelming and intense, it’s difficult to digest the sheer amount. There is no flowing journey or consistency. There is deep contrast not just room to room, but often throughout a room. You would need to spend an entire day here to truly begin to appreciate and digest what’s on display. It’s quite remarkable at the same time. I recommend a visit.

The Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo is one of the most prominent art museums in Sao Paulo, located next to Estação da Luz, which is connected to the Metro Yellow Line. Entry is totally free on Saturdays (and on Thursday nights, 6pm to 10 pm)
The Pinacoteca's was designed by Ramos de Azevedo, building is a beautiful example of Brazilian architecture from the early 20th century. In 1998, it went through a masterful renovation process, designed by the Pritzer Prize laureate, architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The museum's interior gallery spaces are well thought out and provides an excellent backdrop for the art on display. The galleries are spacious. The natural light of the atriums, connected by steel bridges is the perfect symbiosis between the classic building and contemporary architecture.
The museum's café in the underground floor connects with Praça da Luz, providing an exuberant view of the park and a relaxing atmosphere, a pleasant and calm space that could make you forget you're in the fourth most populated city on earth (and one of the most dangerous areas of Sao Paulo).
The museum's collection is vast, covering a range of styles and periods, with an emphasis on Brazilian art from the 19th century to the present day. The Pinacoteca is especially known for its collection of modernist art, featuring works by well-known Brazilian artists such as Tarsila do Amaral, Anita Malfatti, and Lasar Segall. Additionally, the museum has an extensive collection of photographs, engravings, and drawings, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of Brazilian art history.
Overall, the Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo is a world-class, must-visit for anyone interested in Brazilian art and culture. The museum's impressive collection, beautiful architecture, and commitment to education make it one of the most important cultural institutions one could ask for.

Must see museum in São Paulo. Beautiful building with nice sights to Estação da Luz.
Exhibitions are very well organized and inviting.
The only downside is that the museum surroundings tend to be not so safe when police is not around. But if you are an average Brazilian you will be able to handle it just fine.
Matheus Boschetti — Google review
Even since before I planned my trip to Brazil I knew I wanted to visit the Pinacoteca at one point in my life. The building is reminiscent of a classical temple, and has a massive collection of works in all plastic arts. I loved the educational focus of the exhibits, the fact that they are arranged by topic and not by region or century, and all the accessibility infrastructure all around. Truly one of the best museums I have been to in Brazil.

The Mercado Municipal de São Paulo is a historical building with stands selling rare fruit, vegetables, and dairy produce, as well as a food court. The market's specialty is mortadella sandwiches; for the definitive version, try the crowded upstairs Hocca Bar. Ki Peixe also serves big flat oysters shucked to order while you wait for your fish to be cleaned.
A very large and beautiful market with lots to see. If you're visiting, there are lots of unique local items to purchase here. I loved seeing all the hand made items that were being made there. There are great restaurants on the second floor as well. The mortadella sandwiches are an absolute must try! They are heavy but extremely delicious.

Loved how beautiful the food looks, the building has great features too. Too bad you get the feeling you have to excuse yourself if you don't want to try the products from every other stand. I can imagine some people like to sample everything, but I don't feel comfortable. The famous sandwich is great, but a bit too much meat, but hey that's the typical Brazilian style!

Ibirapuera Park is a large park in Sao Paulo, Brazil with many of the citys well-known museums and recreational areas. The park was originally commissioned as part of the citys 400th anniversary celebration, but due to budget cuts, some of Niemeyer's original plans were not implemented. Today, the park is still one of the most popular attractions in Sao Paulo, with over 14.4 million visits per year.
Do not leave São Paulo without visiting this park. The park is extremely beautiful and large with so much to see. The natural beauty is very hard to describe and show in photos. The Museu do Café in Santos is a museum dedicated to the history of coffee, housed in the historic building of the former Official Coffee Exchange. The architecture of the building is intricate and beautiful, with many details to admire. Inside, visitors can explore various exhibits showcasing objects, documents and audio-visual presentations that tell the story of coffee both in Brazil and around the world.
A journey through time!
The building inside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful.
Very interesting place, for those who love coffee!
It has a cafeteria that serves a brewed coffee that is delicious! ❤
I went in Dec / 20 and on the outside it is covered in renovation, not being able to take photos.
In the surroundings there are beautiful buildings that are worth the scenery.
The museum itself is fine.
The monument is beautiful and, although it is not as interesting a visit in the city as the Aquarium or the Sacred Art Museum, it is worth it.
The problem is, ironically, as another comment pointed out, in the cafe.
I have the costume of drinking coffees of various types and expected much more from the place. Do not go to the cafeteria because you calculate expensive for ordinary coffees prepared in an ordinary way.
If you ask for the museum's iced coffee with milk - which now costs R $ 18.00 and is one of the cheapest items in the establishment - you will leave with the impression that your homemade coffee with a little milk and ice would have came out tastier.
Again, go to the museum, don't go to the cafeteria.

Admission fee is 10 BRL per adult, students and over 60’s are half of it.
Their explanation is Portuguese but even it, you can enjoy.
Papipupenta — Google review
A nice building which is located near Pele Museum. There is a small admission fee. There are lockers where you need to put your bag in and it has a small cafe on the ground floor. Very detailed history on Brazilian coffee, educational with lots of information

A nice history of the origins of the coffee in Brazil and the port of Santos
Eduardo Sequeira — Google review
Great museum to learn about the farming and processing of coffee beans and extensive history related to coffee. The building is beautiful and there’s also information about the architecture and its origins. All of the information on the walls/signs is displayed in Portuguese but there’s large cards with all the same information in Spanish/English available too. Very informative! Entry was 10 reais.

Aquário Municipal de Santos is a well-known aquarium that showcases a diverse collection of both fresh and saltwater species, including penguins. When planning your visit to the area, Hotels.com can help you find the perfect accommodation, whether it be a budget-friendly option or an upscale hotel. By using the map-based search feature on their website, you can easily locate hotels in close proximity to the aquarium and other nearby landmarks and neighborhoods.
Very small but lovely entertainment for kids if you in Santos! Kids up to certain age for free and adults only 8 reais - great value!
Michal K — Google review
The price ticket is very cheap and the attractions inside are cool. The place is nice and you can see many different species there but this aquarium is small, so you’ll finish your tour in probably 30 minutes.

It's a nice aquarium close to the sea but very small.
It's really nice place to visit with family.
Rocky Bashimor (GHBoy) — Google review
A nice place to see variety of oceanic beings. But is not extraordinary. The tanks need maintenance on a regular scale
Shamanth M S — Google review
Great place to visit with kids. It costs 10,00 per person and kids pay half. There was only one cashier which made us wait some time in line.
Patrick Leonardo — Google review
This is a nice simple place to visit, especially on a rainy day when the beach isn't so nice. It's a small aquarium with a nice collection of fish and similar creatures. The one depressing tank was with the sea turtle. It was just a tank and water, no earth features or other stuff. I'm hoping that it is a work in progress.
Todd H — Google review
Small, lots of empty tanks, but it seems like they are trying to improve it. I’d recommend it for a quick visit, don’t expect too much though.
Miriam Davidson — Google review
I was convinced to enter inside because the man who assisted the tourists outside. He said there is a shark inside. the Shark weighing 32 tons, he said. Sad to know there's is no Shark inside, only a small fish, penguins, sea turtle, fresh water turtle, and a few species of fish inside.. it's disgusting, guys. To all tourists reading this, please don't believe the man who introduced you to buy a ticket worth 10 rias for entrance but nothing to see inside its like a public market selling fish. this is not a tourist attraction it's a tourist distraction.
EDDIE SASIL — Google review
cheapest aquarium admission I ever had, relatively. it's good to spend the day. the penguins still clinically depressed. try as they may, AC is no substitution for arctic weather. also make sure to get combo ticket and visit the zoologia garden on other side of town. walk or take a Uber there
Der-Liang Yung — Google review
Very nice location with good views, although we were there in winter (August) and fairly quiet, I imagine it gets a lot busier in peak/Summer time.
Simon Rivett — Google review
While I understand why people may think is a place to visit in 30 minutes (after an hour in line during the holidays period. Tip, if you go to the orchidiarium before (well worth a visit) you can buy ticket for both there, and then just skip the line at the acuario!) I think you can slow down, and take time on each tank to identify the fish, there origin, etc. Still the beginning of the place is a little claustrophobic, really notable the difference with the most modern area at the end. Super cute stuffed animals at the shop, but really overpriced. We just play for a while with them! 🤣😉

I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.
Tatiana Kalinina — Google review
I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

This a magnificente Buddhist temple ! Whether you want to stay quiet and calm or learn more about Chinese culture, there are several activities you can develop there, for example the traditional Chinese calligraphy classes. When they celebrate the new Chinese year the whole temple receives hundreds of people and they perform various traditional rituals and dances. Tip: go with comfortable clothes !

The temple features 16 sturdy columns and an accompanying tower that stands amidst well-manicured gardens, providing ample space for large-scale religious services. Ski Mountain Park offers an impressive entertainment facility that features an artificial ski slope, toboggan hill slides, ice skating rink and concessions. It's a perfect destination for families looking to spend quality time with their kids. However, the amenities are not budget-friendly and may require significant spending to participate in the activities. Overall, Ski Mountain Park is an ideal spot for those seeking adventurous experiences but should be prepared to spend a little extra for the privilege.
Good place to come with the kids. But not very cheap to play.

It could have everything to be a nice place for families but it is poorly organized and overpriced (I believe overpriced is an understatement in their case). It’s the first place where you have to pay twice for ride, on your way up and on the way down.... food also comes with a huge price tag. Altogether prepare your wallet if you really want to go.

Cave network with vast lit halls viewed by walkways & bridges located in a conservation park.
Huge and very impressive cave, with an illuminated 600m pathway inside. It is well signposted (as Caverna do Diabo) from the highway, including tens of kilometres before the turnoff, well before you arrive. Access is then along a 4km stretch of asphalted road uphill to the large visitor centre where there is plenty of parking and a restaurant. The guides (aka monitors} are all from the local community and operate independently as a co-operative association.

A very nice natural park with a lot of caves that are a good attraction.
To visit the park and walk the trails in the forest, you must to pay a guide, that they call a monitor... is a person who knows the trails and the caves like they own palm.
There are stories about people who got lost in the forest and inside the caves and fatally dying alone.
That's why is not allowed to walk inside the Forrest and caves alone.
But there is a trail that you can walk for a whole day into the forest, visiting caves, falls and river... 9km total, after that you can eat pastel and relax sleeping in some hostel or pousada.

This natural park can offer you a great opportunity to have a deep contact with the nature in different ways! Here you can enjoy a lot of caves with different styles and difficulties, hiking all day long over different directions, even the river in a calm place become a natural pool. For entrance, you should pay a small fee (20 Brazilian Reais, approximately 4 dollars - Sep 2022), and you can free parking in the entrance area. Important: to access the caves, you need hire an official guide from this region to go together to you and/or your group

Amazing natural park (caves and tracks) with professional and knowledgable guides. A deep and safe adventure that requires not much of physical strength.
Jose Dias — Google review
It is a beautiful place. However, one has to have a guide, they tend to serve you primitive attractions (like listening to music in cave) and enforce a number of regulations that neither increase safety nor pleasure (like crossing the river wearing shoes and walking later in wet shoes). Really unpleasent experience. I recommend finding another park to explore Mata Arlantica.
Piotr Wrona — Google review
The caves here are phenomenal and merit more foreign visitors. Some of the caves are huge, others smaller. One is actually a tunnel exiting elsewhere from where there is a lovely 2km trek back. You need to hire an accredited guide beforehand to go with you, or else you will be turned away (as I saw with another car when we arrived). And believe me - you need a guide for your own safety as the caves extend hundreds of meters inside and you'd be in complete darkness if it were not for the guide's knowledge and our helmet torches (supplied by the guide tour agency). My guide was great, Luis from Monotours, with whom I spoke Portuguese. I also used my mobile/cell phone flashlight to better illuminate the stones we often stepped or scrambled over.

Beto Carrero World is a popular family amusement park in Penha, Santa Catarina, known for its themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, zoo and horse riding. The park spans over 10 million square meters with eight different areas each featuring a unique theme. I’m from Mexico and I wanted to experience this place. It was really fun. I highly recommend to buy fast passes for some attractions because the line was long.
Also bring a lot water because is exhausting walk around whole day.

We had a really nice time there. We arrived right at the open time, was not a busy day at all, so I suppose we were lucky! We just took some minutes to go to the roller coaster and to many other attractions. The food is very expensive, for a normal food. The meal hall is very old, should be renewed as well as add more ventilation, it was sooo warm in there! We had cakes in some bakeries, which were sooo good. The new attraction was also very fun. The theater that happen during the day and evening are really worth it to see, you gonna have fun. + you don’t have to be a kid to be here, just go, I am sure you gonna have fun. There are different attractions, many many restaurants, many kiosks, zoo, candy shops and attractions for all ages!

Nice amusement park with lots of attractions for people of different ages and taste. So much to do and see so be ready to spend the whole day there. If you go make sure to buy tickets in advance (they are also cheaper) and to buy the express option (skip line) given that the park is very crowd so without it you will just be able to go to a very few rides (1h or more average time without it). Protect yourself from the sun (it is very hot there and there are almost no shade anywhere) and when purchase drinks make sure to buy plenty as the line for these are huge too. Very popular attraction! If you go, the hot wheels show is a must!!

R$ 68 for the entrance or you won’t see anything.
Alexey Golubev — Google review
It opens at 4 pm. And it has an entry ticket of 55 real.
Parameshwar Hegde — Google review
Great view, easy to access, free parking with very quick shuttle bus to the top. Not much walking required for elderly and easy access with pram except for very top of Cristo. I went early and there was hardly anyone there but I think later on there's more of a party vibe happening and the restaurants open. Worth visiting as a tourist.

It’s a wonderful place. My daughter and I had a peaceful time there.

A nice place to visit and see a beautiful view from both cities, Camboriú and Balneário Camboriú. However, you have to pay to access this place. The parking lot is good - you won't have any problems with it.

Tourist ripoff. Don't waste your time. They charge entrance fee of 55 reais lol.

Situated in Balneário Camboriú, State of Santa Catarina, Rs, Brazil.
Very touristic place. Inside you can spend as much time as you like as there's restaurants and live music at night time.

Picturesque beach cove with views of 4 islands, plus a large cross fabled among fishermen.
Beautiful beach, blue flag. Busy, but a great place to spend the day in the beach with your family. Toilets and showers nearby and enty of parking on nearby streets and private parking.

You can bring children because of the long shallow space. Spacious and open beach but the tide in the middle of ocean is strong.. mini- surfing with Body board is possible.

Zoo Pomerode is a conservation-focused zoo that houses approximately 220 species of native and exotic mammals, birds, and reptiles. Visitors can purchase entrance tickets for an intimate experience with the well-cared-for animals. The zoo offers a diverse range of animals from South America and Brazil, providing a unique opportunity to see species not commonly found elsewhere. The lush surroundings and friendly staff contribute to a perfect zoo experience.
I would definitely go again!
The place is clean, the animals are taken well cared; you can see that by the size of the places where they are kept and we were able to see the workers feeding, cleaning...
I would suggest going later in the afternoon or early morning because of the hot weather.

Really cool zoo. Small but a good variety of animals. Very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun outing in this part of Santa Catarina. Don't miss the maned wolf exhibit!
Clay Mccraw — Google review
A must-go in Pomerode. You can get quite close to the animals. You will not have to walk long distances as the cages are not far apart. The place is obviously very well maintained.

We visited here in July 2023, it was fantastic. The animals looked happy and healthy. You get a very intimate experience and view of them all. I got to see a few animals from South America and Brazil that I hadn't seen before, or knew existed. There are lots of lovely trees around the zoo itself, the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. A perfect zoo experience!
I was also offered a teacher's discount (I am a school teacher in New Zealand), if I provided proof/ID, so educators - be sure to bring your ID with you!

A beautiful place, well organized, had a nice diversity of animals and are beautiful and health animals.

This was a nice small zoo but it was well laid out and there were plenty of cool zoo animals for adults and kids to enjoy seeing. Highly recommend visiting this zoo if you are in the area.

The Praia dos Ingleses beach is popular with tourists and locals alike for its beautiful blue waters, great waves for surfing, and wide sandy beach. The beach is easily accessible from the city center and has a variety of restaurants, cafes, and hotels nearby.

Great clean beach with lovely waves and water is just right for swimming. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and bars along the beach with a great atmosphere!

From the beaches in Florianópolis, this is surely the most commercial one, it has nothing special and pales in a comparison with its neighbors, especially Santinho.
Gian Mastrorosa — Google review
Beautiful beach 💙! Very calm and clear water. Good for family and kids.
There are a few restaurants where you can eat watching the sea. During high season It may get pretty crowded...
Taty Salles — Google review
Really nice beach but it can get quite busy (for good reason!)
If you come in high season, be prepared to fight for a space, but in October, there was plenty of space and the weather was perfect for it!
Maddog (UKwonderboy) — Google review
It is a complete stunning adventure to go to the edges of the beach, this is one of the largest on the island, highly recomended.

Beautiful beach on Florianópolis, the sea usually is calm and there are many places where you can eat or drink also there is a surf school.
The Vila Germanica Park is a beautiful tourist attraction in Blumenau, with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an Oktoberfest event every year, which is a great way to enjoy the local culture. The park is also home to some beautiful seasonal decorations, and is a perfect place to spend some time in the city.
It is the best experience (German food, culture and music). It is a great place to visit!
Alberto Hoyos — Google review
Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Mark Peters — Google review
Purely touristy place. No actual German homes.
If you like beer and overpriced memorabilia, go for it. Not free tables to sit. Pay parking outside. You may park 3 blocks away for free ( I did not go on Octoberfest).
Matias Beltramo — Google review
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.
Mr. D. — Google review
The most iconic and touristic place of Blumenau. The oktoberfest occurs here. In this beautiful and happy mood german place you will find good spots to drink good local or imported beers, souvenir shops, good restaurants to eat real food, snacks, or german style desserts. Clean restrooms, friendly peolpe. Nice place to spend some time in the city. There are beautiful seasonal decorations according to festive and cultural dates.
Eduardo Beckhauser — Google review
Always a good time. OCTOBERFEST is the best time to go!
Spencer Ross — Google review
Nice park with lovely decorative and settings. Good music! Did not go on October fest but nice to see any time.
Antoine Assaad — Google review
I've been there to check the Christmas decorations and buy some handcrafted gifts. The place is huge but well maintained. There are nice restaurants in the park. There were some small attractions for kids. I found it nice for a visit and some traditional Germanic food.
Gabriel M. Probst — Google review
Such a fun place to visit! The german inspired architecture, the details, good food and pretty little shops. It is also fun during the day.
Virginia Costa — Google review
Dissapointing visit. Was expecting more of it. Just 2 streets. 5 weeks before easter and they where hanging the whole park full of easter eggs to many for my liking.
Very touristic pricing was crazy.
