Beautiful park with walking and biking trails. We even spotted two tiny owls while we were there. There is plenty of parking at both entrances.
Anna van Wesep — Google review
I recently visited Parque Villa-Lobos in São Paulo on a rainy Sunday morning for my long run, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! This park is an absolute gem for runners and bikers alike. The 3.5 km / 2.2 mi loop provided the perfect track for my run, with scenic views and well-maintained paths. What's more, the availability of restrooms and a filtered water station made my experience even more convenient. And to top it off, vendors selling fresh coconut water were a delightful treat post-run. Rain or shine, Parque Villa-Lobos is the ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Five stars without a doubt!
Michal Wisniewski — Google review
A very serene park to relax and have fun.
Eghe Ohikhueme — Google review
A beautiful, big, dynamic park with tons of things to do and to walk around. There were lots of people jogging, training, taking selfies, biking around, having a delicious coconut, etc.
There’s also the biggest wheel in Latin America apparently, or one of the biggest ones. And I also saw a super vintage and cute merry-go-round.
The park is pet friendly, and families can enjoy picnics, small gatherings and much more!
Emilia Guidobono — Google review
Incredible. Clean, vibrant, full of people and their dogs, loads of bikes and families and children. Best of all, the infrastructure supports it all.

It is even more amazing!! Now with a new attraction (photo).
Dercio Silva — Google review
It is ons of Sao Paulos better parks, huge with very nice trees and walkways, lanes for bicicles. Huge Fairess wheel, a must do thing in the park. Quite crowded over weekends but still a nice get away if you stay between the trees to avoid the weekend rush, during the week it is very empty and you will have most of the park to yourself.
Le Roy Swart — Google review
I like this park so much. There are 3 running tracks and 1 for biking. Many runners use the bike track to run on the weekend. It's pleasurable to run there, stay a little under a tree, relaxing, and enjoy nature. You can also play tennis, basketball, or enjoy the various attractions the park offers every weekend. There is a huge library there too. The only problem is the bathrooms; they are far from each other and not well maintained.
Rodrigo Santos — Google review
It is 5 if you enjoy different activities with the family. Free entrance and lots of washrooms and benches. In terms of nice pictures and selfies they can Improve on that as they have a huge land. Lots of restaurants. Can rent a bike. Mostly a park to be active and exercise.
Antoine Assaad — Google review
Good place and there is a big wheel and the cost is around $70 R per person. The audio didn’t work well. The park is big but is a little insecure.
Lorena G9898 — Google review
Huge park with lots of different activities, including outdoor gyms, carnival rides etc. there’s great bike paths to ride too. Note the various activities have different hours of operations.
Angie h — Google review
Beautifullll.
The trees have grown, the grass well taken care of. Peaceful place.
During the week its easy to park and less crowed then weekends.
Kathryn Collins — Google review

Went for Cinese New Yesr and was highly impressed by the temple and koi fish pond and garden. Lovely oasis just outside the center if São Paulo

I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.
Tatiana Kalinina — Google review
I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

Very peaceful temple at the top of a hill. There are great views and the grounds are lovely and relaxing. I saw a little monkey in a tree! There is a nice vegetarian buffet restaurant and a cafe. Also a nice gift shop.
Oliver Hall — Google review
This a magnificente Buddhist temple ! Whether you want to stay quiet and calm or learn more about Chinese culture, there are several activities you can develop there, for example the traditional Chinese calligraphy classes. When they celebrate the new Chinese year the whole temple receives hundreds of people and they perform various traditional rituals and dances. Tip: go with comfortable clothes !

The temple features 16 sturdy columns and an accompanying tower that stands amidst well-manicured gardens, providing ample space for large-scale religious services. Ski Mountain Park offers an impressive entertainment facility that features an artificial ski slope, toboggan hill slides, ice skating rink and concessions. It's a perfect destination for families looking to spend quality time with their kids. However, the amenities are not budget-friendly and may require significant spending to participate in the activities. Overall, Ski Mountain Park is an ideal spot for those seeking adventurous experiences but should be prepared to spend a little extra for the privilege.
Good place to come with the kids. But not very cheap to play.
Lucas Choi — Google review
It could have everything to be a nice place for families but it is poorly organized and overpriced (I believe overpriced is an understatement in their case). It’s the first place where you have to pay twice for ride, on your way up and on the way down.... food also comes with a huge price tag. Altogether prepare your wallet if you really want to go.

If you find yourself in the region, this is one of the few options to have some leisure in town. It's a Park with a few attractions and, most prominently an artificial skiing slope.
A very interesting Downhill MTB track also is available but in specific dates.

Praia do Guaraú is a vast beach enveloped by lush forests and mountains, forming an ecological reserve. Despite occasionally inclement weather, this beach remains a favorite destination. During the summer months, it becomes bustling with visitors and the village teems with activity. However, in the quieter winter season, tourist numbers dwindle significantly. The pristine sands offer an idyllic setting for leisurely walks.

Estr. do Guaraú - Q.ta do Guarau, Peruíbe - SP, 11750-000, Brazil
Cave network with vast lit halls viewed by walkways & bridges located in a conservation park.
Huge and very impressive cave, with an illuminated 600m pathway inside. It is well signposted (as Caverna do Diabo) from the highway, including tens of kilometres before the turnoff, well before you arrive. Access is then along a 4km stretch of asphalted road uphill to the large visitor centre where there is plenty of parking and a restaurant. The guides (aka monitors} are all from the local community and operate independently as a co-operative association.
Alistair Clark — Google review
Incredible kilometres long cave system thats definitely worth a visit when you're nearby. There are many tours that go from Sao Paulo. A guide is obligatory to visit the cave. They are very knowledgable. Near the cave is a restaurant with amenities and parking.

A very nice natural park with a lot of caves that are a good attraction.
To visit the park and walk the trails in the forest, you must to pay a guide, that they call a monitor... is a person who knows the trails and the caves like they own palm.
There are stories about people who got lost in the forest and inside the caves and fatally dying alone.
That's why is not allowed to walk inside the Forrest and caves alone.
But there is a trail that you can walk for a whole day into the forest, visiting caves, falls and river... 9km total, after that you can eat pastel and relax sleeping in some hostel or pousada.

This natural park can offer you a great opportunity to have a deep contact with the nature in different ways! Here you can enjoy a lot of caves with different styles and difficulties, hiking all day long over different directions, even the river in a calm place become a natural pool. For entrance, you should pay a small fee (20 Brazilian Reais, approximately 4 dollars - Sep 2022), and you can free parking in the entrance area. Important: to access the caves, you need hire an official guide from this region to go together to you and/or your group
Renner Modafares Pereira — Google review
Amazing natural park (caves and tracks) with professional and knowledgable guides. A deep and safe adventure that requires not much of physical strength.
Jose Dias — Google review
It is a beautiful place. However, one has to have a guide, they tend to serve you primitive attractions (like listening to music in cave) and enforce a number of regulations that neither increase safety nor pleasure (like crossing the river wearing shoes and walking later in wet shoes). Really unpleasent experience. I recommend finding another park to explore Mata Arlantica.
Piotr Wrona — Google review
The caves here are phenomenal and merit more foreign visitors. Some of the caves are huge, others smaller. One is actually a tunnel exiting elsewhere from where there is a lovely 2km trek back. You need to hire an accredited guide beforehand to go with you, or else you will be turned away (as I saw with another car when we arrived). And believe me - you need a guide for your own safety as the caves extend hundreds of meters inside and you'd be in complete darkness if it were not for the guide's knowledge and our helmet torches (supplied by the guide tour agency). My guide was great, Luis from Monotours, with whom I spoke Portuguese. I also used my mobile/cell phone flashlight to better illuminate the stones we often stepped or scrambled over.

Tangua Park, Curitiba's largest recreational area, is a diverse and beautiful setting that features two lakes, gardens and a waterfall. The park is open 24 hours a day and offers a circular walk around one of the lakes with breathtaking views of the greenery.
Very beautiful park area complete with fountains, water features, small waterfall, and a terrace that offers breathtaking views of neighbouring hills. Well maintained flower display. Open walking spaces are suitable for exercising, picnics, and photography. Plenty of parking spaces.

The Oscar Niemeyer Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture and design. The museum showcases permanent exhibitions of Brazilian and international artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as rotating exhibits highlighting Brazilian and international designers. The eye-shaped tower housing the museum's photographic time capsule is an iconic visual element of the space.
This museam has an exhibition of the famous Brazilian twins world renowned for thei graffiti work.
The exhibition is well set out and detailed.
I love art so I loved this place.
More over the architecture of the museam is wonderful. It is truly fascinating from an architectural and engineering perspective.

Could be better: the „Free WiFi“ needs a registration which is only in Portuguese to get the English texts inside of the museum.

The exhibition items are extremely beautifully set in scene. The exhibition is generally very well curated and diverse exhibitions, both modern and traditional, are on display. During my visit quite some rooms and the eye were closed foe the setting up of new exhibitions (08.04.22). Entrance costs 30. Drinks and bottles are not allowed inside, but there are free lockers available. Good coffee in the museum café.

I’m not a fan of art really. I visited this place with my architect friend and he found some stuff interesting. I liked the part that talk s about Africa. I took a picture of the man with curved back to show it to my physiotherapist cuz he always tell me my back is curved.
I gave 4 stars because the parking system didn’t work
I do like the idea of collecting what is considered art in one place
Muhammed BALLAN محمد بلان — Google review
A great indoor space for a miles-long stroll on a bad weather day. Exhibitions (that try hard to be interesting) take place mostly in the undescriptive, adjacent "square" annex, so what is actually worth seeing is 85% outside. Store offers an array of objects using the museum logo (=outline). Still by far tourist attraction #1 in town.
HERM PAZ — Google review

This famous museum is on every city tour. The architecture of the museum building is impressive, especially the adjacent building known as The Eye, which is quite stunning. Amazing museum with an unforgettable building design. There are various exhibitions inside, which include contemporary art and an impressive Asian and African collection of works.
My favorite exhibition this time was “BANCOS INDÍGENAS DO BRASIL”, which displayed more than 200 banks from 40 ethnic groups in the Amazon. Understanding the worldview of indigenous people was an inspiring experience.
It could be quite cold in the museum, though, remember to bring a jacket.

Free on Wednesday even for tourists. Lots of buses that goes there. The 50 reals for 12hrs to see 26 touristic locations is ok but you will lose 3 hrs here as it is amazing. The botanical gardin is also amazing (3hrs). I suggest walk/uber/omnibus for these top places. I like the African room and Chinese! Great art works. Free washrooms and water. Residential Jardim Botânico fans out from the Botanical Garden of Curitiba, with a 3-domed tropical glasshouse, a wooded area with trails, and a sensory garden. The local Paraná Clube soccer team plays at the Estádio Vila Capanema. Laid-back bars serving local snacks fill with students from the Federal University of Paraná, while Italian restaurants and burger joints are scattered around Av. Prefeito Omar Sabbag.
The city park Parque Barigui is a large and popular park in the center of Curitiba, Brazil. It features sports courts, lakeside trails for hiking and biking, and a skating rink. The park also has BBQ grills for enjoying outdoor meals. The old sesmaria belonging to the pioneer Mateus Martins Leme was transformed into the park in 1972.

unitstar — Google review
The park is beautiful, but nothing special. If you aren't from the city, there's not much to do. It lacks a good restaurant, and the few options available aren't quite impressive. It's big, and many areas don't have trees, so it's tiresome on sunny and hotter days. Beware of bicycles in the bike lane; they sometimes go really fast and don't watch out for pedestrians. There are also a lot of big dogs without muzzles, and the police just don't care. Regarding security, it's fairly safe on the south side, starting from Candido Hartmann Avenue; there's patrolling, and it feels alright. The only problem here is street vendors who walk around offering cakes or biscuits; they sometimes get too insistent and annoying, but rarely a big headache. Anyway, security remains an issue for the North side, particularly near the chimney and beyond. Avoid this side after dark and in the early hours of the day, and don't explore the forest trails unless you're in a group.

The International Friendship Bridge is a 1,812-ft.-long arch bridge with a pedestrian path that connects the cities of Foz do Iguacu in Brazil and Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. It symbolizes the union between the two countries and was constructed during the 1950s and 1960s over the Parana River. The bridge links Ciudad del Este to Foz do Iguazu and also shares a border with Puerto Iguazu in Argentina.
Easy to find a way to cross the bridge. Just uber close to it, and the signs will show “Pedestre”. Asked Imigration if its okay to walk, no problem.
M?ris Jankovskis — Google review
I took an Uber to the bridge which cost me £3. I walked across the bridge with no problem. I’m a single middle-aged female on my own and no one troubled me. I did a little shopping and I came back again. I didn’t even make a stop at immigration nobody seemed interested. No problem. I got a cold beer near the bridge and I ordered an Uber back to my hotel, which cost me £2. I was advised to use the buses I didn’t get on with that because I couldn’t figure out which bus or how to pay
Maria Brown — Google review
It was build in 1965 connecting Brazil to Paraguay. I do not advice to cross it on foot way too dangers You'd rather take a van in some local agency in Brazil and go with others, much safer that way.
Rodrigo Rahmeier — Google review
As a person that lives in the frontier and has passed this bridge countless times I will leave some tips for people that are visiting: (updated again!)
1. The bridge is not unsafe (and the cities aren't also) but you still have to pay attention for pickpockets. Doesn't mean you will find one but better to be precautious like you would in any big city. I would also add that right after Paraguayan customs there are a lot of men trying to give people pamphlets or flyers about certain stores, I personally wouldn't take those nor pay attention to them, be safe and just ignore them and go to the store you wanted to go (see number 11 too).
2. As pedestrians we do almost the same thing that cars do on the road. If leaving Paraguay by foot, you go from customs (Shopping del Este side) to the same side of the road until you get to customs of Brazil, if you are retourning to Paraguay you have to come back on the other side. When on the hallway of the bridge, we usually walk on the right so people that are in a rush can pass by the left.
3. There's no need to go to either customs if you're just going to do some shopping in CDE and go back or viceversa with Foz (read Acuerdo entre Paraguay y Brasil sobre Localidades Fronterizas vinculadas (ciudades gemelas)). If you're travelling further in either country you need to go to both customs (Aduana) BY YOURSELF.
4. If you want to take a good look at/take a picture of the bridge, it's even better on your way from cde to foz as they have an overlook to the bridge right after the bridge and on the way to brazilian customs (pay attention to your right after the end of the bridge, walk up some small steps and you'll find it).
5. Bring a hat or something to cover your head from the sun because the roof doesn't cover much, you can still see the sky. The roof and the barricades (?) are anti-suicide protections that they put up a few years ago, but in terms of rain and sun it doesn't protect much. Use sunscreen, a hat and bring a bottle of water with you to drink. It can be too hot or too cold (if windy).
6. If you pass to either side by bus or by car it can be fast sometimes but other times the road is too busy and you can be there for hours. Even though the problem is not in the bridge itself but the problem is the traffic before reaching the bridge from both sides. You can check that by searching "Ponte da Amizade camara" in google.
7. If you pass by bus the price is 12 reais or 15.000 guaraníes, goes back and forth in both countries every now and then. In Paraguay you can get in the bus at the terminal de buses or wherever downtown, goes to Brazil until TTU (Terminal de Transporte Urbano) and Rodoviária. Doesn't stop in the Aduanas (Customs) in case you need to make your entry.
8. There are also "paseros" that can make you get to the other side faster and for a little bit cheaper (some) but you have to ask until which part of both cities they go (probably not outside downtown side).
9. There are places where fakes are sold in Ciudad del Este, but it's not just that. There are many official stores of International brands or where they are represented, for example: Shopping China, Monalisa, Nissei, Shopping Paris, SAX, Atacado Games, Mobile Zone, Mega Shopping Importados, Tokutokuya (Asian foods and goodies especially from Japan).
10. Currency used the most is US Dollars but you can also use Reais or Guaraníes in stores, check if buying in dollars is the best option for you, it usually is.
11. People Are going to try to drag you to theirstores, they will talk to you some sweet things to lure you to buy their products; if you don't want any of that just say Gracias and make a "yes" motion with your head at the same time, that's all.
12. People in Ciudad del Este speak spanish, guaraní and portuguese (especially those that work downtown), if you speak english only it might be a little more difficult to find someone to speak with you but we are working on that! :P
I will keep updating if I notice some other things are missing here!

To be fair, it is nothing special, but yet it is somehow. Where else can you just walk over the border. Might be also quicker than in a Taxi.
Tim Opitz — Google review
Getting checked out of Brazil was a little complicated, but then walking across the bridge was no problem. Arriving in Paraguay was not complicated.
The view of the river from the bridge was nice.

Caracol Park is a state park that offers easy access to a 130-meter high waterfall, Caracol Falls, without the need for hiking or dirt roads. The location is about a 10-minute drive from Canela's city center and has various attractions like artisan shops and the Estacao Sonho Vivo train ride that narrates the region's history. Aside from the waterfall, visitors can also enjoy scenic views from a tower and cable car ride.
Beautiful place to spend the day with nature. We saw a hummingbird and a toucan and had a wonderful time hanging in the hammocks and viewing the waterfalls.

Beautiful view across the valley towards the waterfall. Make sure you go early or by 10:30 you will have over hour wait in the queues.

Like many things in Gramado/Canela, the Caracol Park is overpriced. R$75 for an adult or 90 with the mirador. Add to that parking (30) and if you want to do the little train inside (hard to avoid with kids) it’s another 20.
The views are nice, and compared to other things in the area it’s not a complete rippoff, but it’s too expensive nonetheless
It’s not accessible like they claim. If you’re on a wheelchair forget about it. If you’re with a stroller, prepare for a treat: the gravels uphill are a delight!

A nice park, but less interesting since it's privatization. Focus has shifted much more to the commercialization of the park over the beautiful natural environment.
Estev?o Madeira — Google review
Ok, I liked the views and the short trails, but the place has become a tourist trap. They make you pay for parking and entrance separately and it is not cheap by Brazilian standards. Go in the morning and you'll have a better view of the waterfall (and shadows behind). The trails are easy, but my 80 yo father was struggling as they are not all paved.
Alex Zepka — Google review
Very nice park with waterfalls and wild animals. It is a perfect place for you coming with your family for a happy day. However, remember that this is a touristic place. So, if you don't like crowded places, it is better you come during the weeks days, in low season periods.

If you a person who is really into details, then this is the place for you. In order to really enjoy your visit, make sure to spare some time to really understand the complexity and beauty of each of the miniatures; Germany and Brazil are the two places most covered during the expo, but I do hope they start expanding the list of countries very soon. If you are in Gramado, try going there for you will not regret. :)

Very well done miniature world with creative adventures hidden between the small buildings. It is a pretty cool place. The “mini world” is very detailed and feels alive. There are many landmarks (mostly Brazilian and German) and they are very well done. Adults and kids will have a good time there (2 or 3 hours to see everything if you aren’t in a rush). Look out for the weather since this is an open museum.

Beautiful place, very well designed and built. Great for kids and enjoyable for adults. Pay a lot of attention to details, the small figures are doing all sort of fun stuff. The Cafe is not expensive and the food is very good

Cute lovely detailed miniature representations for local and some internationals buildings. And is not only about the structure they really paid attention to details and you can find the most lovely and or hilarious scenes blend in the landscape! If you look carefully it will be way much fun!

Awesome dedication to the tiny cities! Lots of details, and funny things to try and spot, I was actually curious there wasn't any like challenges to do, find 10 strange things and win X prize hah

Mini Mundo was an amazing attraction. So much time was spend on the tiniest details that were truly mind blowing. Entire cities 1/100th of the size were created. Many different cities from countries like Brazil and Germany. The mascots were cool too. The family enjoyed themselves here.

This Gastropub in Gramado has a delicious food and an impressive view of its windows. You can enjoy pizzas, buffalo milk cheese, functional foods and even a freshly fried croissant! For snacks, you can choose a good beer, cappuccino or exclusive drinks.
Wow. Great taste. Awesome presentation. The risotto with salmon.. amazing

(Translated by Google) Good place to eat, close to Lago Negro. I tried the cabotiá broth served on bread and it was very warm and didn't get cold. The chef came to ask if I wanted it on the bread or on the plate and explained the difference to me at the table, I found it very attentive. The food took an average of 30 minutes to arrive. I found the service to be good.

Achei o atendimento bom.

(Translated by Google) We arrived with 6 adults and 2 children on a Saturday weekend. We understand that this would cause a wait, but we did not imagine that it would take more than 1 hour for the food to arrive. More than 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and even then, they handed us a beer that we had been seeing sitting on the counter for more than ten minutes, now hot.
The food on the menu is beautiful, but the actual food is terrible. Salad with so many leaves that there is no room for the other ingredients on the plate, completely unseasoned; emptiness that looks anything but empty; super hard cassava, impossible to eat; ribs 12 hours pure fat; a dish that didn't come.
It was impossible to talk to a waiter while we waited, they quickly passed by the table without looking at the customers. When we got up to ask about our orders, they said they would look into it and didn't give us any feedback.
Oh, as for the price, they charge much higher than what they offer. You can't consider that it's a cheap place and that's why the service and food are terrible.
All in all, it was a bad experience. I really hope they improve or change management soon, as the spot is great for those who visit the beautiful Lago Negro.

(Translated by Google) The prices are ok but the food leaves something to be desired. I didn't even want to order dessert because the place doesn't do that kind of thing. The salmon was ok but the side dishes were not good. The Uruguayan picanha was not picanha and the white sauce tasted like cream.
Very bad service, a bit rude.

Atendimento bem ruinzinho, meio grosseiro.
