The Butantan Research Institute is a world-renowned research institute for poisonous animals, and it's home to some of the world's most impressive living snakes, vipers and spiders. Great place to see reptiles and amphibians. There are lots of snakes, some outdoors in exhibits, and a beautiful place to walk around.

A must for all snake lover 👌🏻
Full of history and mythic place for worldwide research. They develop antivenoms and medicines against many diseases.
MacaronProd — Google review
If you like science/plants/animals, plan to spend a whole day here! I only had time for the vaccine museum and the botanical garden/serpentarium, and had a great time. Most (not all) of displays had some English translation. Truly an under-appreciated gem, especially since an entry ticket to all the museums is only R$6
Meg Edwards — Google review
I liked it a lot. But they were closing to reparations, so there were an air of "closing time" and a lot of unavailable attractions.
The museums are simple but appealing to children. The space is beautiful, large and well maintained.
The serpents and the monkeys weren't there, as their spaces were already cleaned to the reform. So no opinion here...
Plan a couple of hours here, leave it flexible and stay longer if you please. But it definetly worth a try.
Rodrigo Garcia Marques — Google review
Lots of snakes! A few lizards, a couple frogs, many tarantulas. I was hoping I’d get to see what they actually do in the biological institute based on the reviews for it, but it was just a little one room “museum.” Snakes were cool but as an adult with no children, beware that the screaming within the snake exhibit was so ear piercingly loud and constant that I considered putting in headphones to stifle the sound. Maybe on a regular weekday it’s not as bad!
Witch-King of Angmar — Google review
Visited in 2008, as a high school student it was an awesome experience! It's an experimental school with one of the world's largest snake collections. Definitely worth a visit for all the biologists or future biologists out there.

Morumbi Stadium, the home of São Paulo FC, is an exceptional venue that offers a fantastic experience for soccer fans and visitors alike. The atmosphere on matchdays is electric, with the passion of the fans creating an unforgettable atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of the beautiful game. However, the stadium's appeal extends far beyond the soccer field. Boasting two excellent restaurants, the stadium provides a diverse range of dining options that cater to all tastes. The culinary offerings are complemented by the on-site CIA Athletica fitness club, allowing patrons to maintain their exercise routines while enjoying all that the stadium has to offer. Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a foodie, or a fitness aficionado, Morumbi Stadium is a must-visit destination that promises a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

It’s a wonderful place for soccer fan.
They are historic and organized stadium.
We can watch soccer game with nice view.
When there is regular soccer game, they designated several zone and entrance gate, but there is no reserved seat. You can sit in any seat in designated zone.
On the weekend game, spectators are usually around 30,000, but in more important game, there will be more than 65,000 people.

It has cool fishes, though it a small place. I have rated 3 star cause my kid was super excited at the first day we visited, but tjey were cleaning up the fish tank and water was very unclear, so we've got tickets for some other day. We returned 3 days later and water was as unclear as before. We visited the place twice within 3 days and we couldn't see the sharks

Praia do Guaraú is a vast beach enveloped by lush forests and mountains, forming an ecological reserve. Despite occasionally inclement weather, this beach remains a favorite destination. During the summer months, it becomes bustling with visitors and the village teems with activity. However, in the quieter winter season, tourist numbers dwindle significantly. Goodness. If there was a negative rating, I would apply it in this rare case. If you spent your childhood years and summers here, then surely its a memory from childhood and scores a 5 on emotional points. If you are a foreigner and have traveled to pretty much any other beach anywhere else on earth, then do not come here. Dark murky sewer infested water with crowded buildings and absolutely no infrastructure. Drive to any other destination and you are sure to find a better way to spend your time. Or stay home and watch netflix with some popcorn

Beto Carrero World is a popular family amusement park in Penha, Santa Catarina, known for its themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, zoo and horse riding. The park spans over 10 million square meters with eight different areas each featuring a unique theme. Although some attractions like the kids rollercoaster were closed during our visit, the initiative to introduce Master Chef points has expanded the culinary offerings.
I’m from Mexico and I wanted to experience this place. It was really fun. I highly recommend to buy fast passes for some attractions because the line was long.
Also bring a lot water because is exhausting walk around whole day.
Some restaurants are good and some are really bad. I ordered a sandwich and I have to throw away because taste was so bad.
I recommend eat inside of the nerf arcade.
The burgers were good.

A wonderful place to be with friends, bankrupt and the love of your life. I'm very happy to be in this magical place. Thank God for providing me with all this and more. I'll come more often for sure.
Bento Batista — Google review
Went there with my family and friends, my son had just hit 110 cm height so he had more options for attractions. It's a really nice park with lots of attractions and some shows like Hot Wheels and Madagascar. They just opened a Nerf themed area as well.

We had a really nice time there. We arrived right at the open time, was not a busy day at all, so I suppose we were lucky! We just took some minutes to go to the roller coaster and to many other attractions. The food is very expensive, for a normal food. The meal hall is very old, should be renewed as well as add more ventilation, it was sooo warm in there! We had cakes in some bakeries, which were sooo good. The new attraction was also very fun. The theater that happen during the day and evening are really worth it to see, you gonna have fun. + you don’t have to be a kid to be here, just go, I am sure you gonna have fun. There are different attractions, many many restaurants, many kiosks, zoo, candy shops and attractions for all ages!

Great experience. Buy the tickets a day or two before. Don't wait to get there to purchase them because it'll be way more expensive.
mercadaljuanjose — Google review
They need to improve the process of validate ticket.
I stayed waiting in line to validate my ticket about 45 minutes, a lot of people for validate the ticket and only one people to attend all.
Beto Carrero is an amazing experience ♥️

Nice amusement park with lots of attractions for people of different ages and taste. So much to do and see so be ready to spend the whole day there. If you go make sure to buy tickets in advance (they are also cheaper) and to buy the express option (skip line) given that the park is very crowd so without it you will just be able to go to a very few rides (1h or more average time without it). Protect yourself from the sun (it is very hot there and there are almost no shade anywhere) and when purchase drinks make sure to buy plenty as the line for these are huge too. Very popular attraction! If you go, the hot wheels show is a must!!
Adrian Bachmann — Google review
Beautiful park. Would recommend either buying the FastPass or going there during winter, because the lines for some of the games during January are really big and you would need to wait for 2-3 hours. Also the food is delicious.
Adolfo M. Monges Cuquejo — Google review
Great place to go with your family. If you go on weekends or school vacations buy the fast pass.

Joyce Huddleston — Google review
The big rides are amazing! The smaller ones no so great.
Very important! Take your own food because the food in the park it’s the worst that I’ve ever taken, really bad food!! You will be better with sandwiches and chips from home!!

Upon entering the Museu WEG de Ciência e Tecnologia, we received a warm welcome at the entrance. Following registration, a young lady guided us throughout the museum premises. She possessed extensive knowledge regarding both the past achievements and present standing of WEG, an impressive corporation renowned for its production of industrial electric equipment. The museum itself proved to be highly informative and educational; it is undoubtedly a must-visit attraction while in Jaragua do Sul.
It was very educational a lot of history from where it all started.

The Beer Museum in Blumenau is a place where visitors can explore the region's history of beer production with videos and antique brewing equipment. It is currently under renovation, but is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022. Eisenbahn Bierhaus, one of the brewery not to be missed on your list, is located nearby.
Who would have thought it a beer museum in Brazil? There is a limited amount to see inside but this is more than compensated for by the entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought that a Brazilian knew about Thornbridge Brewery. Well worth the visit
W F — Google review
Relatively small place. Nice to see how beer used to be made. Thought there might be some samples but there are none (although there is a beer hall about 50 meters away. Free to get in.

An amazing experience! Roberto walked me through the museum and I was amazed at the quality of the presentation, information presented, and the thoughtfulness behind each part of the museum. It is very well curated and offers a lot of information not only about the process of making beer but the history too. A must see if you are in Blumenau!

The museum was smaller than I expected, but is located in a great location overlooking the river with lots of trees and benches to relax.

Highly recommend this museum as long as you love beer. Otherwise, you might get bored. Only recommend to have more time to see the pictures and stories. Also, it would be great to taste a couple of more beer. I tasted only 2 among many styles. Even better the possibility to choose the styles to taste. Just a suggestion.

Catedral São Paulo Apóstolo is a modern Catholic church built in 1958, featuring electronic bells, a German clock, and intricate wood carvings. Situated in the heart of Blumenau, it is surrounded by key tourist attractions such as the City Hall, Locomotive Macuca, Flower Clock, Castelinho da XV, Carlos Gomes Theater, and the Cultural Foundation of Blumenau.
Very different from other churches. Lovely experience. Nice from outside and within! Including surrounding buildings as the church is on a hill!

The Vila Germanica Park is a beautiful tourist attraction in Blumenau, with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an Oktoberfest event every year, which is a great way to enjoy the local culture. The park is also home to some beautiful seasonal decorations, and is a perfect place to spend some time in the city.
It is the best experience (German food, culture and music). It is a great place to visit!
Alberto Hoyos — Google review
Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Mark Peters — Google review
Purely touristy place. No actual German homes.
If you like beer and overpriced memorabilia, go for it. Not free tables to sit. Pay parking outside. You may park 3 blocks away for free ( I did not go on Octoberfest).
Matias Beltramo — Google review
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.
Mr. D. — Google review
The most iconic and touristic place of Blumenau. The oktoberfest occurs here. In this beautiful and happy mood german place you will find good spots to drink good local or imported beers, souvenir shops, good restaurants to eat real food, snacks, or german style desserts. Clean restrooms, friendly peolpe. Nice place to spend some time in the city. There are beautiful seasonal decorations according to festive and cultural dates.

Nice park with lovely decorative and settings. Good music! Did not go on October fest but nice to see any time.
Antoine Assaad — Google review
I've been there to check the Christmas decorations and buy some handcrafted gifts. The place is huge but well maintained. There are nice restaurants in the park. There were some small attractions for kids. I found it nice for a visit and some traditional Germanic food.
Gabriel M. Probst — Google review
Such a fun place to visit! The german inspired architecture, the details, good food and pretty little shops. It is also fun during the day.
Virginia Costa — Google review
Dissapointing visit. Was expecting more of it. Just 2 streets. 5 weeks before easter and they where hanging the whole park full of easter eggs to many for my liking.
Very touristic pricing was crazy.
