Very nice tour to take by car and enjoy with the family a different place, it would seem like you were on another planet. Nature expresses itself and the Salinas are huge, very nice, a little smaller than those in the north but very pleasant, a nice excursion to go out. Highly recommended to do it during the day and take advantage of the sunset in the salt flat. Be careful where you walk because sometimes there are big cracks. It is advisable to go on Sunday when there is little truck work activity in the area. No entrance is needed and on Twitter you enter with your car directly. Highly recommended

There are practically no signs or anything touristy that indicates anything.
We went with the car and moved forward. We found an official from the Dos Anclas company who advised us and explained something to us.
Being in a salt flat is something quite particular, a very strong sensation.
I recommend if you have the opportunity, deviate a few kms. You won't regret it.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful winery. Defined by its good taste both in the Image of the winery and in each of its products. To my liking it is expensive, but it is understood that it is where it points from minute one. A special wine for a few ... The service is excellent, to my liking the guy on the visit lacks a bit of mischief, if he clicks a little he sells 10 bottles. They charge 100 pesos per visitor, somewhere I read that if you bought that you had left on credit but when I made the purchase they charged me for the complete product. It is not money but it is not what I read.

Hermosa bodega.

The restaurant kitchen/bar staff are rude and denied to give us tap water although the waitress tried to, the food is too expensive comparing with the quality.

Totalmente recomendable!!!

(Translated by Google) It was the winery that we liked to visit the most. First we toured the vineyards and the winery with Flor, who explained everything to us very well, we were even able to try some grapes that were already ripening to distinguish the flavors between malbec, cabernet savignon and a white that I don't remember the name of. Then we returned to the main hall from where we had started and we were received by Alfredo Roca with whom we were able to chat for a moment. With my husband we chose the tasting directed by Alejandro, Alfredo's son. The experience was the best of all for two nerds like us, since we were able to ask many questions that Alejandro answered very generously, and he spent a good time chatting while we shared the wines.
I have to emphasize that both the vineyards, the park, the winery, all very well placed, neat, clean, they take care of every detail.
The fact that the owners themselves and very well-prepared people who know and like what they do, made everything close perfectly for us.

The Museo Ferroviario, a remarkable museum dedicated to the history of trains and railways, is an outstanding attraction. It offers visitors a unique insight into the evolution of locomotives and their impact on society. The collection includes artifacts from different eras, showcasing the development of train technology over time. This fascinating exhibit comprises historical photographs, vintage clothing, intricate models and fully-restored trains that illustrate how early steam engines evolved into high-speed electric bullet trains we see today.

It has 4 stars because I do not justify so much wealth in a space where there is so much poverty inside and out, many times very humble people ask for help outside, from those who enter, and they are not given anything, but the alms that the priest asks for are silk. Mmm the values are changed

Bodega La Abeja is a historic winery established in 1883, offering guided tours and tastings. Visitors have praised the smaller, more private group tours that offer numerous complimentary wine tastings of about 5 or 6 different wines. The knowledgeable tour guides provide insights into the winemaking process, including grape harvesting and bottling. Guests appreciate the friendly and informative staff, with special mentions for guides like Sofi and Juan Pablo who enhance the experience with their expertise and humor.
We messaged on WhatsApp to schedule an appointment. The tour was enjoyable, and the wine tasting at the end was fantastic, with numerous samples. For $2000, it was an outstanding value, and we also received a full glass of house wine for only $200 while we waited for the tour to begin.

Bodega La Abeja was fantastic! For only $1000 pesos it was a brilliant tour. Sofie was a lovely tour guide who gave us a private tour in English. We loved trying their wines in the private tasting room as well! A brilliant bodega with a fantastic history and some very tasty wines... We'd 100% recommend!

Nagaoka accepts criticism cheerfully, and uses criticism productively to develop own abilities and skills. When working to a firm but realistic deadline, Nagaoka always completes tasks to an adequate standard. Accuracy and neatness may suffer but the outcome is acceptable. Puts in some extra hours to meet the deadline. When dressed for the job, personal appearance and dress immediately impress. Distinctive, perhaps distinguished. Performs most jobs well and has the habit of checking work outcomes. Nagaoka is achieving excellence in some areas but in others is not yet achieving the highest standards.
A persuasive, engaging speaker when well-prepared, but uncomfortable and less effective when asked to speak off-the-cuff. Nagaoka enjoys working without supervision and usually continues to carry out duties effectively. Still needs to learn when it is appropriate to call for a supervisor’s advice or authority to act. Habitually asks questions in order to fully understand a position or a statement. Keeps asking until the facts are clear and the truth is understood. Can work in a team but often produces individual work at the end of a group activity. Not supportive or tolerant of others in the team.

(Translated by Google) This is an “intermediate” winery, since it is still a family business, but it is much larger and produces more varieties and in greater quantities than others of the same style. The price of admission, which, like most, includes a tour and tasting, is $1,200 (August 2023). I also consider the price intermediate, since in some wineries you do not pay entry, and in others you pay double or more. The farm is not located on the same premises, but the production process takes place right there, so the experience is still very good. The tasting part was the one I liked the most (😉🍷), mainly because it felt more personal than in other wineries. We were able to sit at a bar and chat with the guide, who very kindly answered all our questions. I highly recommend the experience 🙌🏼🇦🇷

The owner, who is regarded as a genius, was actively involved in attending to guests alongside his employees. Visitors can enjoy a delightful horseback ride through the beautiful vineyards. Although our reviewer did not partake in the wine tasting, Bodega Labiano appeared to prioritize safety protocols by conducting their activities outdoors, distinguishing them from other wineries visited.

Exploring Villa las Tinajas Archaeological Park with guides is an intriguing experience. Visitors can expect to discover a different side of history while venturing into the caves. It should be noted that navigating through the three sections of these caverns requires some effort, as one must frequently stoop and get dirty. Nonetheless, this adds to the amusement and excitement of the journey.

The construction of Agua del Toro Dam, a significant edifice, involved the utilization of modern engineering techniques. This colossal structure was built with meticulous planning and precision to harness water resources effectively. Agua del Toro Dam serves as a vital hydroelectric power source and also facilitates irrigation systems in the surrounding areas.
The Pierre Auger Observatory is a remarkable facility that sets itself apart from other observatories. It offers a unique and immersive experience, characterized by excellent organization and educational value throughout. The diligent and passionate tourist guides deserve commendation for their dedication. However, it is worth noting that the absence of a UK flag outside the building may be an oversight, considering the observatory's international contributors. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of responsiveness to reviews over the past three years.
Pretty interesting and very well taken care of. You should check, it's free, just remember to book online before you come.

The lack of a UK flag is extremely disappointing, considering the contribution from Alan Watson, and the team from the University of Leeds, who designed and installed the communications system that gathers the data from the surface detectors and sends it back to the campus.

You do not have a UK flag represented outside the building as a contributing country. Is this an oversight?

The guide at the Planetario Malargüe provided an excellent explanation, delivering intriguing and easily understandable information. The projection was captivating, and the installation where they showcased the film was beautiful. However, a drawback was that all seats were occupied without any social distancing measures in place. To address this issue, it would be beneficial to offer more time slots with fewer people in attendance.

(Translated by Google) It is a must-see in Malargüe, it has two times to attend the guided tour and the projections inside the pyramid. The locations are numbered so I recommend going early because the later numbers have a worse location and you could also run out of a place if a LOT of people go (the same, I arrived a few minutes after the start of that guide's shift and got a place). The projections are some very good, others decent, but what is very good are the explanations of whoever is speaking at that moment, very clear and interesting.
The first part, in which a guide accompanies the tour through the rest of the planetarium, is a bit poor because a single guide is in charge of all the stands, which makes the explanations of each one very superficial. It could be solved with a little more staff.
It is inexpensive, the visit costs $200 per person (adults), and the visiting hours are 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., each visit lasting 2 hours.
(Original)

Due to an occasional emergency, it was necessary to stay for a little more than two hours and the performance of the guard, then in charge of Dr. César CHÁVEZ, and nurses such as Nely, Marisa, Angélica, etc. It was exceptional!
Professionalism such as that demonstrated deserves the score awarded. Understanding, kind, dedicated and with quality humanitarian treatment (towards us and the rest of the occasional attendees).
The place is very well air-conditioned and decorated. Its facilities demonstrate care and cleanliness (although the cleaning staff - a guard service function - delayed their response to the repeated call of emergency personnel, this is a good opportunity for improvement).

Be careful when going with directions from Google Maps, it makes you take a very long turn when in reality from the lagoon to Route 222 it is almost direct. Going to Las Leñas, it is on the right hand side indicated by a medium-sized sign.

Increíble lugar para conocer!! Hermoso y totalmente limpio.

I'll never travel to Malargue without this trip planner again
The picturesque Laguna de la Niña Encantada is surrounded by rocky hills and petrified lava flow, creating a stunning landscape. The crystal-clear water of the lagoon is renowned for its purity. Visitors are advised to bring a bottle to collect the natural and fresh water from the lake. Accessing the area requires crossing a bridge over the river and paying an entrance fee, but it is definitely worth it due to the breathtaking beauty of the location.

It is a nature reserve, the entrance is 200 Argentine pesos (they only accept cash), you leave the car in a parador, you cross a suspension bridge and you arrive at the reserve.
It is a self-guided tour where you access different sites until you reach the lagoon or when you leave it.
Visually impressive natural wonder, with a flora and fauna typical of the place, as well as a rock exhibition to have more knowledge about the rocks present in the mountains or volcanoes that you will observe during your stay in Malargüe.
Recommended to go. If you go preferably in the morning as it is cooler, also because if you follow the same route you can continue towards the Pozo de las Ánimas, Las Leñas and Valle Hermoso...

A beautiful place for those who dream of skiing and enjoying snow activities.
Nadia Kostiuk — Google review
Las Leñas is well known for their après time vibes, a few challenging runs and the best off piste terrain in Argentina. And, of course, being the only true ski in / ski out resort down here.
And boy … do they know that and maker that.
As mentioned it’s THE place if you enjoy off piste… the actual runs are average, not that challenging leaving aside Marte zone where you can’t get some fun advanced terrain. They have a respectable beginners area for Argentina standards and adding they hotel / bars / restaurant offer right at the base, a place to be enjoyed by skiers of all levels.
It does gets terribly packed in the heavy season, not a lot of lifts makes that experience not that enjoyable so it would be wise to try to avoid July … but their snow in the last few years was scarce at best … so trip down when you have to!
Paulo Puglisi — Google review
Great tracks, and great snow most of the season. Off tracks are easy to find and also really fun. Views are excellent too. Problems are the snow by mid August, and the lifts are the slowest you'll ever encounter.
Lucas Cohen — Google review
Don’t ever come to this place , all the facilities and hotels are all outdated and horribles dirty ! Everything’s stuck in the 80 ‘s , besides how racists are all the services members especially if you are an Asian avoid this place , spend your money somewhere else but not here! I mean not all the Argentinian they are so racists but the people that they can afford to come here , even the place is crabby but they think they are rich 😂and consider themself Europeans 😂 ! Soooo listen to my advise and don’t come at all 🤠👍

Nazmul Hassan Nobel — Google review
Perched in the amazing peaks of the Argentine Andes this is a small ski resort by European standards but the piste skiing is great as long as the Marte lift is open (maybe 50% of the time). The lifts are old and slow
Alex Campbell — Google review
I have my own disagreement on how to rate this.
As a “ski resort” I rate it below average (3 stars is average), comparing it to other major sky resorts of Argentina.
As a “Mountain to sky” I can extend to to 4 points, with many good runs and nice snow.
So let’s see why 2 stars:
1. poor poor poor poor infrastructure... been here 20 years ago, and it seems all the same. One day did spend an unreasonable time doing lines for the lifts (meaning that in all ski resorts you will do reasonable lines).
2. Ski rentals offer is poor, leading the companies to charge you whatever they want, since there is no competition.
3. Very small places to eat at the mountains , one better than the other, still not at the quality you expect for the money you pay
4. Not good airport communication, so you pay a lot of extra money if you do not have a package
5. Since is just that, a ski resort far away from cities, you have to just relax and be prepared to charge you expensive prices to eat or drink.
I’m sorry is not as good as its marketing
Makes it look like.
Milton Schneider — Google review
If you're used to northern hemisphere skiing, this isn't as good as say, Squaw Valley, California or Kitzbuhel, Austria.
Argentines seem to be more concerned about posing than skiing. But then these are the rich 5%.
However, if your here in July then it's pretty decent for South America. Not expensive either.
Chris McMahon — Google review
Nice place to enjoy the day, in the middle of scarce snow
