Ski Mountain Park offers an impressive entertainment facility that features an artificial ski slope, toboggan hill slides, ice skating rink and concessions. It's a perfect destination for families looking to spend quality time with their kids. However, the amenities are not budget-friendly and may require significant spending to participate in the activities. Overall, Ski Mountain Park is an ideal spot for those seeking adventurous experiences but should be prepared to spend a little extra for the privilege.
Good place to come with the kids. But not very cheap to play.

It could have everything to be a nice place for families but it is poorly organized and overpriced (I believe overpriced is an understatement in their case). It’s the first place where you have to pay twice for ride, on your way up and on the way down.... food also comes with a huge price tag. Altogether prepare your wallet if you really want to go.

For you to go from São Paulo all the way there, you have to get, at least, good prices. This is not the case. Only one or other store offer good deal. The food court is very limited but you can bring with you your pet. Parking is another problem. It takes a while to find a spot.

Nice place to visit if you’re in São Paulo.
It’s not actually in the capital, but if you have a car, it worth’s the visit. There are several brands there, and if you have an elder together, they offer wheel chairs for free. Just need a brief registration with personal ID.
Regarding the prices, not a big deal. Some products have discounts, others don’t. So don’t expect to buy everything you want there.

This large, popular zoo with a lake & forest features many animal exhibits & an educational museum.
It’s a really worth place to visit.
As of April, 2023, entrance fee is 8 BRL per adult, 4 BRL per kid.
It’s not so big land, they don’t have any kind of animals such as São Paulo zoo, but it’s not crowded, we can see rare birds, monkeys, snakes and others.
Less than 2 hours is enough to see all.
We enjoyed our holiday there.

We had a little girl with us and she had a great time - especially to clap the goats and see the peacock in all its glory.

A great and beautiful place to stay a day with your family, good food, good groceries, good coffee. The farm have lot of activities to do in group. Amazing, i love take my bike and go there just to get a cup of coffee and go back home.

Beautiful area. The peacocks 🦚 and other animals are a joy. Great freedom to explore at your own pace. There is a part for native culture but the performance was cancelled because there weren't enough people. There was 10 plus of us there and no one came to explain it was cancelled which I felt was disappointing. There is a chocolate factory that has good products, although I've been to better chocolate factories in Ireland and Italy. Its a great visit for 3 hours but I think they have so much capacity to grow if they added some more activities, particularly with the native culture. It feels a little tacked on. Definitely would visit again and I'd encourage others. ITU the nearby city is also the best city I've visited in Sao Paulo for tourism, so far.

It offers a pleasant weekend getaway with its selection of restaurants. The range of stores includes popular brands like Nike, Puma, Calvin Klein, and Diesel, among others. Concerning the stores, here you will find a good selection of those (Nike, Puma, Calvin Klein, Diesel, and others).
About the prices, depending on how lucky you are, I've already found some very good deals as well as I ve already found some items that were more expensive here them in the ordinary shop.
About the food, not the best but not the worst as well. Good enough for an average lunch.

Great place with an amazing selection of stores. Great selection of restaurants in the food court too. Honestly, most of the times I've only cosited for the food. It is too tempting to just drive by and not stop on the way back home. The overall layout is great and allows for fresh air to circulate throughout. Definately worth a visit and come prepared to spend a lot of time here.

david power — Google review
Awesome outdoor outlet mall! There are many options, some on the higher priced name brand. Variety of restaurants throughout and a small food court area. Great walking and shopping atmosphere. The only reason I am giving 4, not 5 stars, is due to the parking, on busy days it can be very difficult to find parking. The parking lot doesn't keep track of spaces so you can find yourself entering the paid lot and not finding a spot and then have to exit and drive around to the added parking garage which is also paid parking and also doesn't keep track of the vehicle count.
Shawn Hart — Google review
I have driven by this place many times without knowing it was even there. It was only when I saw Rafa Ribeiro post about it on Instagram I decided to visit, since I was passing.
The place looks great, however, when we visited on a Tuesday lunchtime, the place was packed! Parking was stressful and could use some management or guidance. People were parked everywhere, literally! To my surprise we did find a space.
We were hungry, and wow, every food place was packed, and the seated restaurants had huge waits, so it would seem best to arrive earlier and make sure the first thing you do is book a restaurant, or eat before you come.
There was a great mix of stores, however the busiest and most popular stores, like NIKE and Adidas seemed on the small side, they were packed with customers, and surely could use larger stores.
As for the prices, maybe for Brazil is good, but even with the favourable exchange rate from the UK the European stores seemed expensive for sure.
I would visit again, but would hope to find a quieter time.

Wet'n Wild is an expansive and vibrant water park with a multitude of slides, a wave pool, and occasional DJ-led events. While the food court options are limited and slightly expensive, children often delight in the burger meals available. Moreover, there are also more affordable snack choices that benefit parents financially. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and amiable. However, one drawback is the steep price for parking at 50R$, especially when considering the already high ticket price of 99R$.
The park didn't have many options of food courts, the food is a bit pricey but kids always enjoy to get the burguer meals. Options of cheaper snacks are also available which is a plus for the parent's pockets ! :)
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The only bad side is the expensive car park ! 50R$ seems a bit much when you pay 99R$ for the ticket itself (whhe buying in advance and not in a combo, with a combo is cheaper).
Thayani Conaggin — Google review
Avoid at all costs during the weekend.
I went with my 14 yo kid and 10 of his friends. Here is our journey:
* Parking is well organized and reasonably priced (r$ 60)
* It took us 75 minutes to get in the park - that's because we bought tickets in advance. There was no shade, drinks or staff in the entrance line
* We had to wait 60 minutes more in line to get a locker.
* We chose a ride that was not too busy. We "only" had to wait 45 minutes in line. That means that it took three hours from the time we arrived to the time we took our first ride.
* The kids took another ride and off we went for lunch. 35 minutes in line, and the tables were dirty and full of flies. What an unforgettable experience to have lunch surrounded by thousands of flies.
* We took one most popular rides in the afternoon and it was time to go.
* In a nutshell, we arrived at 10am and left at 4 pm, for a total of 6 hours in the park. We took 3-4 rides, each of which lasted about 45 seconds. That averages out to 2 hours wait for every minute of riding.
* Staff is friendly, but poorly trained. When we want to buy an ice cream, it took staff 3 minutes to sell one popsicle.
* Management don't apparently enforce any capacity limit to the park. There were clearly four times more people in the park that there should be. There is zero chance lifeguard could see any kid drowning - which luckily didn't happen.
* There is medical examination to be in the park - and there were a few people with obvious and apparent skin diseases that shouldn't be there.
That, combined with a 35 degrees Celsius temperature made this trip the worst trip of my last 20 years of life (where I have been travelling extensively for work and tourism across 25+ countries in 5 continents)
Oren Pinsky — Google review
Great day out, I really enjoyed this water park and my 11year old neice also had fun. The park wasn't busy, queues were short, it was clean and tidy and the food and drink on offer was of a good enough standard. The yellow capsule drop slide was scary but fun, and the white half pipe and family rubber ring slides were my favourite. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone to visit and would go again.

It is a medium-sized park with very interesting geological formation. There are several of these huge stone walls and some playgrounds for kids. It's definitely worth a go. The visit can be short (less than one hour) or larger if you profit if the grass and stop for a snack.

Park
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Square Exaggeration is a remarkable tourist attraction that features an expansive park adorned with gigantic replicas of various objects, such as a chess board, pencils, and even ants. This public park stands out due to its unique sculptures, displaying the city's distinctive character. However, one minor drawback is that the maze could be improved by offering more intricate pathways rather than just a straightforward route leading to the center from two directions.
Legal ! Free !

Great public park. Very different with all the sculptures. Shows great character for the city.
Only drawback for me, I'd like the maze to actually be a maze not just a straight run to the middle from two directions

Parque Ecológico Prefeito Dr. Clain Ferrari is a scenic city park located next to a creek. It features abundant foliage, walking trails, diverse fauna, and play equipment for children. This picturesque park offers an ideal setting for capturing beautiful family photos amidst the lush trees and colorful flowers. The surroundings also attract numerous fitness enthusiasts who take advantage of the designated cycling paths.
It's the most Beautiful park that I've ever been to, with lot of trees and flowers, this place is perfect to you take a beautiful photo with your family.
You can see lot of people exercising aroud the park as there is a good lane for cyclists
However sometimes you can fell a bad smell from the lake but it's only happend after it rains.

The Igreja Nossa Senhora da Candelária (Matriz) is located in the square where the city's landmark zero is situated. The church boasts stunning architecture, including a beautiful wooden altar that exudes a blessed energy and carries a rich history. The palm trees add charm to the square, providing several benches for visitors to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It's unfortunate that there are no food establishments available for purchase directly in the square itself.

(Translated by Google) Old and preserved church, but still needs some renovations. Very beautiful, it maintains the city's ancient tradition. I think they could hold another mass on Sunday at 7:00 am, as the one at 10:00 is very crowded and the ventilation and air conditioning is insufficient for the number of people who attend. In addition, at 10:00 it is a mass that should be aimed at young people, children and they try to do this, but end up distorting the old custom a little. Because they bring the children together, then they sing happy birthday and long live grandma, long live grandpa, long live mom and dad, long live everything.... So having a 7:00 mass helps attendance, in addition to avoiding the closed environment and stuffy and inappropriate.
(Original)
Porque reúnem as crianças, aí canta parabéns e viva a vovó, viva o vovô, viva o papai e a mamãe, viva tudo.... Então fazer uma missa das 7:00 ajuda a frequência, além do que evita o ambiente fechado e abafado e impróprio.

(Translated by Google) My review is about the party, specifically with the bingo
At least 70% of people are elderly or old people who like bingo, they come to the party to take notes, have fun, get that feeling from years ago, but we observed that bingo is only interested in raising money and not bringing the fun in. family and Candelária is the only church in the city that wants to do this type of bingo, which in reality is a system of raising money with your own pocket in mind!
If you have any doubts about this, ask the people who participated, give a voice to whoever you need for the party to happen and also more education for those on stage with people who don't like this type of bingo, it's not with a bad face, etc. That will change something!!!

Jequitibá Woods Park is a vast and lush urban park in the city, attracting around a million visitors annually. The park boasts of an extensive native forest reserve that houses a zoo with over 300 species of animals including large felines, meerkats, hippos and blue macaws. In addition to its impressive wildlife and vegetation, the park also features several facilities such as Casa do Caboclo, Museum of Natural History, Carlos Maia Theater and Municipal Aquarium.
Very nice park. There are several exotic animals, many of them were rescued and were given shelter here. There are also wild, free animals like these cute agouti roaming everywhere in the park. It was a very enjoyable stroll around the park.

Beautiful FREE park in Campinas with tons of animals, birds and beautiful vegetation. Do be mindful of your surroundings though since there are some shady characters there. It is generally safe though.

Very nice park/zoo in the center of the city. Must visit. Amazing for just walking around and reading a book. You do not pay to enter this park so I was surprised it is well taken care of. Only problem is Brazilian people who do not pick up garbage after their visit!
For anyone who is against zoos this place is more of a rescue center... research and stop being so negative. They are just trying to help these animals. Releasing them will kill them! Also this is educational for all kids and adults. Look at all the beauty it offers.
Maj — Google review
The park is nice, great diversity of trees and bushes. But what I think is cruel, is to keep wild animals in captivity. They don't deserve to live this way. People in Campinas should change their minds and ask the municipality to free those animals, or at least take them to some kind of reserve outside the city, where they could roam a little. Lions and Leopards are kept in small compounds without even a little bit of green. Birds are living in small cages, which avoid them from flying.

Bosque is an incredible oasis in the middle of the city. It’s the perfect spot to grab a green coconut, walk in the shade, and see some amazing animals. Some animals do show signs of stress, but many seem healthy and relatively happy. Don’t count on seeing sloths though! Seems like they’re more of an urban legend in Bosque. Sometimes there’s an official parking lot monitor to help you get in and out of an otherwise incredibly small lot.

Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
Beautiful park (with free parking), well maintained with a nice 2.7km walking trail. The big boat was neat but only open weekends to go inside. The lake and all of the wildlife gathered around it (including capybara and cats) was very fun! The workout equipment is a neat idea, and they had water fountains and clean washrooms!!!
Brandon Morton — Google review
Better with family.
This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain.
There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids.
Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained.
It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.

It's one of the most known places in Campinas. It's a classic park you should visit if you are in town.
A lot of trees, tracks for walking/running and cycling. There is a big lagoon in the inside with an inner track. A lot of sports courts (basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc) of cement and sand.
It's a very good place to spend a few hours.
It's lacking some conservation and it doesn't allow pets inside, sadly.
More recently it is hosting some cultural activities and during August 2019 there was the DegustArt festival there with a lot of known restaurants serving food and drinks in small portions. It was very tasty! A fun fact: there was a lot of people from iFood (using the typical "motorcycle delivery uniform") grabbing the order on the table, going to the restaurants stands, taking the order and bringing to you. It was a cool plus.

Located in the outskirts of Campinas, Parque D. Pedro Shopping is a sprawling enclosed mall with diverse retail options, a cinema and an airy food court with chain cafes. It receives 18 million visitors per year and contains 399 stores including 30 anchor stores, 20 restaurants, 49 fast-food outlets, a movie theater complex with 15 theaters, conference center and 8,000 parking spaces. In 2015 the mall expanded to include new gastronomic options at Alameda Parde D. Pedro.
Well designed mall with a central hub that allows for quick travel between stores without having to do a full circuit. Sprawling, lively food court with many options and plenty of seating. Good mix of big box and specialty stores that appeal to a broad range of consumers. Interesting artistic elements. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a tourist.

And simply, no one knows anything, no one responds, I'm just going to check, it's lunch time, I'm going to check at the dispatch…. and no return.
Don't buy it, I don't recommend it!!

They didn't even communicate the shipping cost. A mess. Total disregard for the customer. I complained and they didn't even offer to resolve it. Never.

Os preços são bons, mas nada de diferente de outros lugares em minha cidade. Fui com muita expectativa é quebrei a cara. Tem um posto de gasolina mais abaixo, com um loja no local, achei super em conta os preços e as variedades.

The Catholic church, specifically the Cathedral of São Carlos, is a remarkably stunning place that welcomes both children and the elderly. It serves as an exceptional sanctuary for spiritual nourishment, offering solace to individuals seeking to connect with their higher power. This religious establishment's architectural grandeur and serene ambiance contribute to its reputation as a remarkable location for all souls in search of tranquility and inner peace.

Praça Dom Marcondes Homem de Mello s/n, Centro, São Carlos - SP, 13560-570, Brazil
The zoo São Carlos Ecological Park is a cost-free, expansive green area with dense vegetation. There are various food and toy vendors near the entrance. The park offers two entrances; one leads to a children's playground and picnic tables while the other provides access to geese, birds, snakes, and other mammals. Located just 5 km from the city center, this natural spot is easily accessible and suitable for visits both on weekdays and weekends. It even hosts evening activities.
Lovely place to visit in São Carlos. Free entry. We spent 2 hours wandering around enjoying the beautiful surroundings which are really well maintained. Very tranquil slice of nature on the outskirts of the city. The animals and birds were lovely to see but the enclosures for most of them were too small which is unfortunate and should be addressed. Great place to bring kids and they have just built a lovely new playground.
Odhran Allen — Google review
The site is free. It's a big park. The place is wooded, and at the beginning there are places selling food and toys. After the entrance, there are friendly bees that don't hurt, and two entrances. Straight, access to children's playground and picnic tables. To the right, we go towards the geese, birds, snakes, felines and mammals in general, giving greater access to the park. The location is very natural and not far from the city, about 5 km from the city center. It is good to be visited both at the weekend and during the week, and there are even scheduled activities at night. I recommend it for all ages, as it is a very good place for walks and fun, as well as informal meetings and even lunches. Highly recommend.

My kids adore this place. It could benefit from investment, as there are empty displays and incomplete signage, but the location is beautifully wooded, the animals are interesting and exotic, and the kid's park is great. Worth every visit if your family is into this sort of place.

Highly recommend this Zoo/Ecological Park. Animals are all indigenous to Brazil and South America, which gives a great insight into the culture and wildlife. Very family friendly with all animal named in English/Portuguese. Free Entrance

This is a trail in a preserved Atlantic Forest forest reserve rich in various species of fauna and flora. Along the trail we can observe specimens of Jequitibá-Rosa and all its exuberance.
I recommend wearing sportswear (pants and long-sleeved t-shirt) or using insect repellent to avoid insect bites. Don't forget the water.
An unforgettable tour.
