Praia do Rosa is a renowned tropical destination known for its sandy beaches, snack stalls, hiking trails, surfing opportunities and whale watching. Well. Its a very working class family beach. It does not offer anything but its natural beauty and even so the place deserve better maintenance. Its unpleasant to see so much trash along the beach and on the trails. Perhaps investing in general education towards environmental preservation and the importance of recycling.

Powdery white sand, and lots of restaurants. Very touristy area, very crowded. Parking for 30 reais a day.
Naufragados beach is a beautiful white sand beach that is known for its historic shipwrecks and 19th century lighthouse. It is a 45-minute hike from the trailhead to the beach, which is also popular among campers. The views in the beginning of the trail are nice, but it's the wide beach that draws in most people.
Amazing beach, very isolated by a 30-45 minute hike. It’s worth the effort. There’s even a barzinho on the beach! Spectacular views !

I did the 90 minute trip. We went through 5-7 scary rapids. The river, the plants, and the birds were amazing. It was a great half day activity and the guides were great.

I can’t recommend apuama rafting enough! Me and a friend traveled about an hour from where we were staying in Florianopolís. We came from outside the country and both found the guides both knowledgeable of the river and extremely accommodating. Even if you have to drive a ways this was the best rafting experience I’ve had in my life. Awesome time on the river and 10/10 would go again any day

This was a great place with nice guides who spoke Portuguese, Spanish, and English. They have all kinds of adventure sports to keep you busy although we just went for the rafting and waterfall repelling. They were both fun and the guides kept us safe all the time. They also have a cafe next door where they are the chefs. It was a quaint and cozy place to sit and have real garden fresh food. Our guide and chef Chris made excellent crepes and also the sell homemade kombucha and spices. Chris made a spicy Mayo for the bravest of spice lovers. An ideal stop for your stay in Santa Catarina state. Definitely days worth of adventure to have here!

Conversation in English worked perfectly fine! Thank you!

The Campeche Island is a beautiful, relatively unknown beach destination with a relaxing and pristine atmosphere. The island is also known for its archaeological sites, including an ancient Maya city that still stands today.
It is a must-visited Campeche Island. The best advice I can give is to check the weather before you go, choose an agency to buy it a few days before you plan going because it is a really popular place, if you arrive there without your ticket probably you will face a big queue to try to take the boat! If you have problems with the boat, bring your medicine because it will take 40 min by boat to get there! The water is beautiful, paradise!
priscilla credico da fonseca — Google review
If you are in Floripa a visit to this Island is a must. It is absolutely stunning.
You can access it from a few places but we chose to get a boat from Campeche Beach (10 minutes). Tip - get their early as people queue from 8am because they only allow limited numbers on the Island.

A beautiful island with calm but freezing water. If you go on the weekend, there are many boats obstructing the view of the ocean. Nonetheless, the island feels calm and relaxed. We (foreigners) were told it costs 300 reais per person round trip to the island. When we said we don't have that much cash, they lowered it to 200 reais per person (Feb 2022). Still expensive based on other comments here, but I guess that's the price you pay for not being brazilian.

Shopping ViaCatarina is a multilevel indoor mall that offers a wide range of diverse stores and eateries, along with a cinema and hotel. While the food plaza is enjoyable, the floor layout can be confusing. However, the mall stands out for its selection of reasonably priced clothing, shoes, and electronic apparel. It is particularly convenient for monthly shopping due to its associated supermarket, which offers interesting prices.

These dunes are amazing. It costs R$20 per hour and they give you a bracelet so you are the only person allowed to use it for that hour. It is quite high and tirering so if your physical conditions aren't the best you might struggle with it. There are car parks nearby and they cost around R$10/20 per day but you can also park on the street and it will be fine. Some car parks have showers and toilets included on these prices. The boards are in good condition here and the staff is helpful. They also give you wax so the board can get more speed. The beach is nearby and you can get there walking. If the temperature is less than 25 degrees the water might be cold and it might bring jelly fishes. There are restaurants and bars in there. The dunes are just perfect and the moisture from the sea helps it to be in the best condition. Do not buy water from the place in front of it as it tastes like swage and it looks like they have bottled it themselves.

Neighborhood of Selina Florianopolis just across the street. It's a decent beach with space. Small, nothing particularly special about it. It's like season right now so maybe there will be more activity during high season which I hear starts in November and December. It's an okay but not absolutely must see beach. Clean though.

Beautiful beach, I’ve been here multiple times - as all beaches in Florianopolis it is always windy! I have been to this beach maybe 10 times and there was one occasion where it wasn’t windy. With that being said the trails and vibe of the beach really do make it special - it’s quite a gypsy beach (if you like that kind of thing) and there is always waves so for surfing it’s good (swimming not so much)

Absolutely splendid place! I spent my honeymoon there and I had the best time of my life. Lots of activities, super chill vibe and safe. You can go scuba diving on the little island in the horizon
I've met so many nice people there and there's a big lgbt and hippie community, which is where the fun is at. No matter how you look like, you'll feel included. There's also professional surfers and fishermen as well , all sorts of cool people.
Let's not forget how AMAZING the fish is at the little food place on the beach

The Praia dos Ingleses beach is popular with tourists and locals alike for its beautiful blue waters, great waves for surfing, and wide sandy beach. The beach is easily accessible from the city center and has a variety of restaurants, cafes, and hotels nearby.
Busy beach. A lot of activities and restaurant. White sand beautiful beach

Great clean beach with lovely waves and water is just right for swimming. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and bars along the beach with a great atmosphere!

From the beaches in Florianópolis, this is surely the most commercial one, it has nothing special and pales in a comparison with its neighbors, especially Santinho.

Beautiful beach 💙! Very calm and clear water. Good for family and kids.
There are a few restaurants where you can eat watching the sea. During high season It may get pretty crowded...
Taty Salles — Google review
Really nice beach but it can get quite busy (for good reason!)
If you come in high season, be prepared to fight for a space, but in October, there was plenty of space and the weather was perfect for it!

It is a complete stunning adventure to go to the edges of the beach, this is one of the largest on the island, highly recomended.

Beautiful beach on Florianópolis, the sea usually is calm and there are many places where you can eat or drink also there is a surf school.

I'll never travel to Florianopolis without this trip planner again
Praia Brava, located in the northern part of the island between Praia da Lagoinha and Praia dos Ingleses, is a public beach renowned for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery. Stretching 1.5 km along an open ocean expanse, this beach faces northwest-southeast and is flanked by imposing cliffs on either side.
Top!!

Most of the beaches look the same but worth the visit. There are free buses on sat and sun but expect 2-3hrs bus rides. You are better off going on weekdays and pay 6 reals for 2 rides within 2-3 hrs. It allows you to see 2 beaches per ticket. You need to get a bus pass I believe. Follow my other beach reviews for more tips!

This is beautiful white sand beach engulfed with hills from both ends and with lots of options for snacks, drinks and ice creams. The beach is ideal for bathing and chilling.
Also there is proper space for parking and the same is free also there are separate bio-toilets.

I have no doubt that it is the most beautiful beach in Floripa. The water is as clean as I like it, and the sand on the beach is powdery. The shallows are wide and calm, so it is recommended for families with small children. The deeper you go, the stronger the waves, but that doesn't really matter when you're swimming in shallow water. December 24th was warm enough.

The waves there are very big, that's what I like about this beach because I play with my family and we all have fun.

Nice beach with soft white sand. One place that sells beverages and not many beach vendors here so bring at least your own food. Not much parking around except private for hotels and condominiums. Paragliding available and it's a nice experience from the nearby hills.

(Translated by Google) Lovely place, natural landscape, well-kept place, access to the viewpoint is free and open until 5pm. It is not a place suitable for people with disabilities, the climb is steep but not very long. I suggest comfortable shoes and clothing, repellent and water for hydration. There I noticed a possible establishment selling items, but on the day of the visit it was closed. I recommend the tour, it is a beautiful view, to be recorded in photographs and in memory.

(Translated by Google) You can see the church from afar. I thought the view from up there was really beautiful. Access to the site is free and it's a bit steep, but going up is fine if you want to go slower and it's easy. There is a little shop up there, you can buy souvenirs and also water, if you want right after climbing. Along the way there is a railing where you place ribbons to make your wish to Mother Paulina. I left our ribbons too.

(Translated by Google) To get to the viewpoint you need to climb Madre Paulina Hill, it's a steep climb, but it's worth it. Along the way, thousands of colorful ribbons, with requests from the faithful, add color to the journey. The ribbons are part of a religious tradition, where the faithful make their requests to Saint Paulina and tie a ribbon somewhere. Following the path, a little higher, next to the ribbons, we can see a space with numerous signs thanking the requests fulfilled. There are plaques, objects, photos, letters, in short, everything that can thank the Saint for the graces he received. A few meters above is the viewpoint on the hill, a very beautiful place with a beautiful view of the Sanctuary and the region.
