The beach of Lagoinha do Leste is a beautiful crescent of sand on the southern end of the island. It's a great spot for swimming or just soaking up the sun, but it can be difficult to access, so it's not always crowded. The views are amazing and there's plenty of space to play.
We hiked in the long way and then hiked out the steep way, would highly highly recommend

Amazing trail to get there and amazing views
Jan Burger — Google review
Excellent beach. It has no structure or buildings. Very natural. The difficult access makes it harder to be overcrowded, but it's definitely worth it. The sea and the lagoon is amazing, and you can even swim with the fish. Be sure to be in great shape. Don't leave your trash behind.
Danilo Rodrigues Jr — Google review
I believe this is the most secluded beach I’ve ever been. To get there you have 2 options. First, you go to Armação beach then cross the river if low tide or the bridge to go to Matadeiro beach. Once you arrive in matadeiro walk to the very end and you will find a track that leads you to Lagoinha. Take plenty of water and food because it’s a long hike, approximately 2 hours. Second option is to take a bus from armação to Pântano do Sul and there is another track that leads you to Lagoinha do Leste Beach which is much shorter, around an hour hiking.

Best hike to the best secret beach in Flori
Dan Sternick — Google review
One hour walk from the main road, long bus ride there or relatively cheap uber (we paid 60 reales). A few restaurants on the beach and probably another 45 minutes up to the top lookout
Thomas B — Google review
This beach is like a hidden paradise. You can only access it by boat or on foot.
There are 2 trail options: the shortest trail starts at Pântano do Sul but it’s VERY steep - you’ll basically be going up nature’s steps for 35 minutes in a closed up forest and then down for 25 more. Be physically prepared!
The other one starts at Praia da Armação and is much longer - 2.5 hours in total but it is lighter and it has wonderful views as half of it is open aired (bring lots of water and sun block though!!).
Reaching the beach is absolutely rewarding. It is by far on of the most beautiful, peaceful beaches I’ve ever been to.
Aline S. Boff — Google review
The best and the absolute best!
I would recommend start in Armaçao and end in Pãntano do Sul. Take the less used route for Pãntano do Sul which is first to climb the top and then merge with the obvious more famous trail. Figuring it out that's half the fun!

Matadeiro Beach
Beach
Nature & Parks
Matadeiro Beach is a serene sandy shoreline adorned with a few modest eateries. It can be reached on foot via a bridge and a trail, making it easily accessible. This beach in Florianopolis stands out with its astonishing azure waters and an impressive ambiance. A tranquil and pleasant atmosphere permeates the area, enhanced by a trendy bar conveniently located on the beachfront. Matadeiro Beach has the potential to become anyone's top choice in Florianopolis due to its remarkable appeal.
You can pay R$40 to park and then walk across a bridge and take a 5 minute trail to access the beach. Really beautiful with fun waves and a couple cafes in the sand.
BIA — Google review
Great beach overall. Access is made by a small and easy hiking walkway. It is a good spot for surfers, as waves are frequent and the beach isn't cramped with people casually swimming. It has no exit at its southern end besides the start of the hiking trail. It has some small restaurants through its course.

It's a beautiful and selective beach since it's only accessible through a trail.
You can find good local restaurants during the high season.

The Campeche Island is a beautiful, relatively unknown beach destination with a relaxing and pristine atmosphere. The island is also known for its archaeological sites, including an ancient Maya city that still stands today.
It is a must-visited Campeche Island. The best advice I can give is to check the weather before you go, choose an agency to buy it a few days before you plan going because it is a really popular place, if you arrive there without your ticket probably you will face a big queue to try to take the boat! If you have problems with the boat, bring your medicine because it will take 40 min by boat to get there! The water is beautiful, paradise!
priscilla credico da fonseca — Google review
If you are in Floripa a visit to this Island is a must. It is absolutely stunning.
You can access it from a few places but we chose to get a boat from Campeche Beach (10 minutes). Tip - get their early as people queue from 8am because they only allow limited numbers on the Island.

A beautiful island with calm but freezing water. If you go on the weekend, there are many boats obstructing the view of the ocean. Nonetheless, the island feels calm and relaxed. We (foreigners) were told it costs 300 reais per person round trip to the island. When we said we don't have that much cash, they lowered it to 200 reais per person (Feb 2022). Still expensive based on other comments here, but I guess that's the price you pay for not being brazilian.

Shopping
Shopping ViaCatarina is a multilevel indoor mall that offers a wide range of diverse stores and eateries, along with a cinema and hotel. While the food plaza is enjoyable, the floor layout can be confusing. However, the mall stands out for its selection of reasonably priced clothing, shoes, and electronic apparel. It is particularly convenient for monthly shopping due to its associated supermarket, which offers interesting prices.

Has a bit of everything. Quite normal place. The best of it is the supermarket. Can get really packed. Could have at least one more place to pay the parking bill.

The place has the best supermarket in the area. The food court has few options but the not enough seating for a mall that size. The parking gets really crowded on weekends and it’s really hard to get a spot.

Praia Joaquina is a wide and beautiful beach on the east side of Santa Catarina Island. It's perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and picnic lunches. The sand is white and the water is shallow, making it very safe for children. There are also plenty of vendors who sell food and drinks, making it a great place to spend a day.

It’s ok. Actually a very busy beach so if you’re into that then it might be the right place for you. What’s great is the dunes sitting in the background. If you climb up you’ll get a very picturesque view of the beach!

These dunes are amazing. It costs R$20 per hour and they give you a bracelet so you are the only person allowed to use it for that hour. It is quite high and tirering so if your physical conditions aren't the best you might struggle with it. There are car parks nearby and they cost around R$10/20 per day but you can also park on the street and it will be fine. Some car parks have showers and toilets included on these prices. The boards are in good condition here and the staff is helpful. They also give you wax so the board can get more speed. The beach is nearby and you can get there walking. If the temperature is less than 25 degrees the water might be cold and it might bring jelly fishes. There are restaurants and bars in there. The dunes are just perfect and the moisture from the sea helps it to be in the best condition. Do not buy water from the place in front of it as it tastes like swage and it looks like they have bottled it themselves.

I have no doubt that it is the most beautiful beach in Floripa. The water is as clean as I like it, and the sand on the beach is powdery. The shallows are wide and calm, so it is recommended for families with small children. The deeper you go, the stronger the waves, but that doesn't really matter when you're swimming in shallow water. Terrible :
- A major issue happened with the (electric) shower the first day we arrived with no one willing to help. The wifi and electricity system overall is bad.
- The elevator is scarier than the ones in horror movies; people got stuck in it during our stay, it shakes and makes a terrifying noise.
- The staff is unhelpful and rude. Being polite is the least you have to do when working in tourism, replying to a "hello" and saying "thank you" is free!
Nobody wears a mask, it must be a magical place (no) where the pandemic disappeared (still not).
- The wifi is weak and slow.

Great place but expensive. Free for locals who have their birthdays on that day! Nice to walk around even if you decide not to enter.
Antoine Assaad — Google review
Nicely done park on a hill between the beaches. Various options for entertaining teenagers at the top of the cable car - a toboggan ride, a slow electric train and, if the weather is ok - a zip line down to the beaches on the far side. Sadly zip line was closed due to high winds on the day we visited :-(.

The sandy beach Praia das Laranjeiras, located in Balneario Camboriu, is a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is also great for fishing, as there are many good spots for catching small fish. There are several restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, making it the perfect place to spend a day or two.

Praia de Laranjeiras, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil
Central Beach is a popular tourist destination that features a long stretch of coastline where visitors can rent chairs and umbrellas. The area offers stunning views of the city and easy access to various eateries. During peak season, it can get quite crowded with lots of people enjoying the warm sea. It's worth noting that by 4:30 pm, the beach will be partially shaded by nearby buildings. Nevertheless, Central Beach remains an excellent place to unwind and relax while enjoying clean waters.
The wheel, the malecón and this mohle is a great experience. You can repeat this on the south as well via a public bus. Ask for directions. I recommend the beaches and visit both Molhe including walking along the paths.
Antoine Assaad — Google review
You're gonna enjoy it if you like crowds, there's lots of people in season. The sea is warm. At 16:30, the shore is already shadowed because of the buildings.

Beautiful big beach, fancy hotels and condos. Too bad sewage dumps into the bay. The beach water has been judged off limits by the state water monitoring department most of December and January up to the 23, today, with no end sight. No excuse for this.

Cristo Luz, a 33-meter tall statue of Jesus Christ, is a popular tourist destination in Balneario Camboriu, Brazil. It boasts stunning views of both Camboriu and Balneario Camboriu cities when colorfully illuminated at night. However, visitors must pay an entrance fee of 40BRL per person to access it. The parking lot is convenient and there's no need to worry about any issues with it.
If you are around you can't miss it. Good buffet and awesome view of the city. You can also dance all night long with live music

Great view, easy to access, free parking with very quick shuttle bus to the top. Not much walking required for elderly and easy access with pram except for very top of Cristo. I went early and there was hardly anyone there but I think later on there's more of a party vibe happening and the restaurants open. Worth visiting as a tourist.

The Beer Museum in Blumenau is a place where visitors can explore the region's history of beer production with videos and antique brewing equipment. It is currently under renovation, but is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022. Eisenbahn Bierhaus, one of the brewery not to be missed on your list, is located nearby.
Who would have thought it a beer museum in Brazil? There is a limited amount to see inside but this is more than compensated for by the entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought that a Brazilian knew about Thornbridge Brewery. Well worth the visit
W F — Google review
Relatively small place. Nice to see how beer used to be made. Thought there might be some samples but there are none (although there is a beer hall about 50 meters away. Free to get in.

An amazing experience! Roberto walked me through the museum and I was amazed at the quality of the presentation, information presented, and the thoughtfulness behind each part of the museum. It is very well curated and offers a lot of information not only about the process of making beer but the history too. A must see if you are in Blumenau!

Highly recommend this museum as long as you love beer. Otherwise, you might get bored. Only recommend to have more time to see the pictures and stories. Also, it would be great to taste a couple of more beer. I tasted only 2 among many styles. Even better the possibility to choose the styles to taste. Just a suggestion.

The Vila Germanica Park is a beautiful tourist attraction in Blumenau, with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an Oktoberfest event every year, which is a great way to enjoy the local culture. The park is also home to some beautiful seasonal decorations, and is a perfect place to spend some time in the city.
It is the best experience (German food, culture and music). It is a great place to visit!

Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Mark Peters — Google review
Purely touristy place. No actual German homes.
If you like beer and overpriced memorabilia, go for it. Not free tables to sit. Pay parking outside. You may park 3 blocks away for free ( I did not go on Octoberfest).
Matias Beltramo — Google review
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.
Mr. D. — Google review
The most iconic and touristic place of Blumenau. The oktoberfest occurs here. In this beautiful and happy mood german place you will find good spots to drink good local or imported beers, souvenir shops, good restaurants to eat real food, snacks, or german style desserts. Clean restrooms, friendly peolpe. Nice place to spend some time in the city. There are beautiful seasonal decorations according to festive and cultural dates.

Beto Carrero World is a popular family amusement park in Penha, Santa Catarina, known for its themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, zoo and horse riding. The park spans over 10 million square meters with eight different areas each featuring a unique theme. Although some attractions like the kids rollercoaster were closed during our visit, the initiative to introduce Master Chef points has expanded the culinary offerings.
I’m from Mexico and I wanted to experience this place. It was really fun. I highly recommend to buy fast passes for some attractions because the line was long.
Also bring a lot water because is exhausting walk around whole day.
Some restaurants are good and some are really bad. I ordered a sandwich and I have to throw away because taste was so bad.
I recommend eat inside of the nerf arcade.
The burgers were good.

- Very good customer service.
Negative points:
- Very long queues for toys.
- No coffee shops.

We had a really nice time there. We arrived right at the open time, was not a busy day at all, so I suppose we were lucky! We just took some minutes to go to the roller coaster and to many other attractions. The food is very expensive, for a normal food. The meal hall is very old, should be renewed as well as add more ventilation, it was sooo warm in there! We had cakes in some bakeries, which were sooo good. The new attraction was also very fun. The theater that happen during the day and evening are really worth it to see, you gonna have fun. + you don’t have to be a kid to be here, just go, I am sure you gonna have fun. There are different attractions, many many restaurants, many kiosks, zoo, candy shops and attractions for all ages!
Joice I — Google review
Great experience. Buy the tickets a day or two before. Don't wait to get there to purchase them because it'll be way more expensive.

Nice amusement park with lots of attractions for people of different ages and taste. So much to do and see so be ready to spend the whole day there. If you go make sure to buy tickets in advance (they are also cheaper) and to buy the express option (skip line) given that the park is very crowd so without it you will just be able to go to a very few rides (1h or more average time without it). Protect yourself from the sun (it is very hot there and there are almost no shade anywhere) and when purchase drinks make sure to buy plenty as the line for these are huge too. Very popular attraction! If you go, the hot wheels show is a must!!
Adrian Bachmann — Google review
Beautiful park. Would recommend either buying the FastPass or going there during winter, because the lines for some of the games during January are really big and you would need to wait for 2-3 hours. Also the food is delicious.
