The Pench River winds through this protected national park with tigers, elephants, gaur & leopards.
One of the best national parks IMHO ... Multiple gates for safari. One can book stay n safari together. 4 safaris minimum are recommended. Turia gate experience was best. Very punctual, good coordinated execution. Driver n guide are knowledgeable. Chances of spotting a tiger or leopard are high here. Ample birds n other animals can b spotted easily. A good jungle experience I would say.

Pench National Park is very close to Nagpur, almost 80 km which takes around 1.5 hours by own car.
Jungle is huge with different views of river, forest , deep bamboo forest and horizonal landscape.

Exploring Pench National Tiger Reserve was a mesmerizing adventure, surrounded by a captivating jungle landscape. During our four-hour safari in an open-top jeep, we marveled at the diverse array of wildlife, including wild dogs, panthers, majestic tigers, and graceful deer. The thrill of encountering bison and the enchanting sight of numerous birds added to the overall fantastic and fascinating experience.

Wonderful experience for kids and adults alike. Had some real good sightings of Tiger, Leopard, Deer, and Birds. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. It does get hot pretty soon though, so make sure you start early, around 5 15 or 5 30 from your resorts. From 6 AM to 9 AM, you should get some real good sightings time. Post that, afternoon safaris will get real hot, but greater chances of really good sightings. April to May is the prime season for sightings as well because the heat makes the animals wander out for water. will definitely come back here next year.

Most have heard of the park and would have done enough research before visiting . DO NOT come with the expectation of seeing a tiger on safari . That needs a lot of luck . You could see deer . And when they take u to core sector , remember u r only allowed in 15 % or less of the core sector . It's the safari people job to say sighting done yesterday and full chance , but it's all on your luck .

Pench Tiger Reserve, nestled in the heart of India, is a mesmerizing destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Spanning over 758 sq km across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, this reserve is named after the Pench River, which meanders through the park. Inspired by its stunning wilderness, Rudyard Kipling immortalized Pench in 'The Jungle Book', making it a place of global literary significance.
The reserve's biodiversity is its most compelling feature. Home to a significant population of majestic Royal Bengal tigers, Pench offers a high probability of tiger sightings.
Safaris in Pench are well-organized, with knowledgeable guides adding immense value to the wildlife experience. The thrill of encountering a tiger in its natural habitat is unparalleled and the heart of the Pench experience. However, it's not just about tigers; the park's overall ecosystem is a testament to successful conservation efforts. becoz we were not able to view the tigers so closely except Laxmi from far
In summary, Pench Tiger Reserve offers a quintessential Indian wildlife experience. Its rich biodiversity, high chance of tiger sightings, and captivating landscapes make it a standout destination. While there are conservation challenges, the reserve's commitment to protecting its diverse inhabitants is evident, making a visit here both exhilarating and enlightening.

Been here twice. Sightings are good. Plenty of Tigers and leopards around.
All the guides and drivers are good. The forest officials take care of the park well.
The park is not very big compared to some of the other forest reserves in the country but it is nice. Teak trees primarily in the jungle. The safari pathways are well laid out and not very bumpy.
There are a few separate entries to the park but i have always taken the Turia gate entry. The park opens at exact time after proper verification.
It is about one and half hours drive from tbe Nagpur airport with enough stay options available.
Booking your safari in advance is advised.

It's a nice place far from the city crowd. If you're a nature Lover you'll love this place. There are 2 kinds of Safari night and day. I've done both. Animal sighting is more prominent in the day but experience in the jungle at night is something else.✨

Had a great stay at Tiger N Woods. Place is super comfy, clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The experience of staying at a machan was absolutely amazing. There's lots of greenery around. There's a pool, play area, and a seating area outside to just sit, chill, and have interesting conversations under the starry night sky. The food served on all 4 days of the trip was delicious. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Absolutely loved the stay and the whole experience there! Would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Pench!

Would love to visit again!

Best stay!!
The staff is really polite and welcoming!!
The food is amazing and there service is really good.
Non veg curry in dinner only.
Full packed breakfast is ready at 4:30 for morning safari which starts at 5:30 to 5:45
This place is within 5 mins of driving distance from Core Gate Turia.
Sometimes early morning you can hear deer calling ( signaling presence of big cats). Thrilling but not dangerous..
Rooms can be bit cleaner.

We booked this for 1 night but the amenities we could not enjoy were the pool as it's directly in front of the reception and the restaurant so zero privacy so we could not enjoy it.
The room we got was not properly dusted and our small private pool was not cleaned or ready for us.
The food was the only decent thing about the resort.
We also had a very annoying experience after the checkout process where they reception was continuously calling because THEY FORGOT to bill us a few things such as water bottle when we were checking out.

A wholesome weekend experience with the family.
The service was exceptional, the place was gorgeous and kept as natural as possible for an eco resort.
The best place for wildlife enthusiasts and tourists alike.
They have amazing recreational activities in their campus, and my favourite was their collection of books.
Thanks for the great time!
Would surely visit again.

Travelled here with my mum and dad, had a great time. The staff is really friendly and prompt. You could literally count till 10 and they’d get you whatever you need to the room. Great food, decent rooms. The machaan is a little too squeaky even when someone’s walking inside. Other than that no complaints. Had a really great stay and great meals throughout the trip. Thank you tiger n woods

This property is a must stay property for families, couples and even friends. The rooms are beautiful, unique and scenic. We have stayed in normal Machan and it was mind-blowing. I have stayed in a lot of luxury properties but by far this is the best in terms of experience. Food is good as well. Manager's are too cooperative and ready to help wherever you need them.

We liked tiger n woods resort very much. Nice ambience and quality of rooms and fittings is also good and natural. Staff is very polite and service is quick and excellent. Manager Mr. Rakesh and other staff was very helpful and always available on call or in person. They also helped us for our Taxi booking at very reasonable price which was value added service for us. Food quality and taste is quite good. Oher guests whom we seen here also seemed nice and well mannered people. We did not encounter any disturbance or loud music either. Certainly we would highly recommend this place for stay and we give thanks for serving us well.

Really great experience working with Tiger N Woods. All the needs of our guests (prior to and during their stay) were taken care of, and the staff was polite and hospitable while managing everything. Yogesh, the coordinator, is efficient and helpful in planning a great trip!
Have some really good feedback from our guests regarding the staff, food, and the place in itself - it's just perfect for wildlifers with a rustic feel and animals in and around the property. Look forward to our continued association with them!

It's not worth the money we paid.
Location is good, providing the view of jungle from your rooms. And service was quick and good too. The wooden Machan cottages are not worth the price. Taste of food is pretty average. They don't have much activities to do in the premises. The restaurant cum dining area could be kept cooler in the scorching summer heat. Overall it's an average place which charges you way more than it's worth.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the most incredible resort and it was truly the best vacation experience I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with exceptional hospitality from the staff who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The resort was beautifully designed with stunning landscapes, incredible architecture, and state-of-the-art amenities.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the modern conveniences one could ask for. The bed was so comfortable, the linens were of the highest quality, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking. Every detail was carefully crafted to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
But what truly made my stay at this resort so special was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The hospitality was second to none, and every single person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and always eager to help. The manager was especially impressive, with a level of dedication and passion for his work that was truly inspiring. He was always available to answer any questions I had and went out of his way to ensure that my stay was a success.
In addition to the exceptional service, the food at this resort was a true highlight. The Indian sweets were authentic and absolutely delicious, and the chefs were happy to bake anything I desired. The food was always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
Had a truly remarkable experience at the resort! The view from the room and balcony is a highlight, and the bonus of seeing a deer at night makes it even more special. The washroom with a big glass window offering a forest view is unique and adds to the overall ambiance of being surrounded by nature. The availability of a bonfire and a pool, as well as a dedicated area for parties and functions, are all great amenities. All in all, it seems like the resort has everything you need for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
In conclusion, my stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. From the beautiful surroundings to the warm hospitality of the staff, every aspect of my experience was first-rate. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable vacation, and I cannot wait to return!
I'm not adding any photo with this review reason is I feel photo can't justify the actual beauty of this place,
sometimes, photos can only capture a small part of the overall experience, and the true beauty of a place often lies in the intangible elements like atmosphere, emotions, and memories. Writing a descriptive review can help others get a sense of the beauty you experienced and inspire them to visit the place for themselves. So, go ahead and enjoy your trip and paint a picture with your words!

What a lovely experience we had during our recent visit to Tiger N woods. Entire team is extreamly polite, helpful, soft spoken and prompt. During our 4 nights 5 days stay we enjoyed...no...over eaten on all meals and breakfast 😁😁😁. During our morning safaris our breakfast was nicely prepared with sufficient quantity for all the members including driver and guide. And was timely ready at 5:45 a.m. The front desk team is warm and gives lot of suggestions if you are keen to enjoy the jungle throughly! They are very warm and welcoming. We are leaving with a promise to come back soon when my sister comes from Germany on her vacation. See you soon 😊 😊 😊

Best part is, we had an amazing anniversary celebration., They had arranged such a lovely decor to jaise woods and mainly with full efforts :)

Spent 3 nights along with family in April 2024. Nice large airy rooms, great service, excellent food and great location just 2.5 KM from Pench Turia Gate. The packed breakfast for the morning safari was more than adequate and we had to ask them to reduce. Good facilities of indoor swimming pool, indoor games, archery, biking etc. Highly recommended.

The resort has a variety of rooms and we stayed in the Tent room. The room was very comfortable, big and very nicely made. The bathroom has a sunken tub which is very nice and the shower area is also well appointed. The general cleanliness has to be improved and the food variety was very ok and repetitive. The best part of the resort was the service. Not a single waiter, cleaner, manager or bartender has disappointed us. The whole staff was fantastic, helpful and always smiling. Worth a visit, but for the price charged the cleanliness and food needs to be upgraded for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort in mid March. The highlight of our stay was the excellent service starting from the front office, the enthusiastic young naturalists, the restaurant staff & house keeping. Every request of ours was attended to and a special mention must be made of this. We had forgotten our medication and they managed to source it all the way from Nagpur. A big thank you for that as they were very vital.
Our suite was very spacious and well maintained. A good spread at the buffet. Since we found it a little spicy, the chef catered special meals for us. The breakfast served during the safari rides was a very good idea and welcome. Overall a great experience and we would love to repeat in the future.

Ramtek temple is famous old temple made by Bhonsalas ( Royal King Family of nagpur).
It's very much famous due black monkeys over there, they are very much polite and ask you for some peanuts or chanas.
You can feed them without fear by you hand, it's only place I seen where monkeys touches and pick your hand and took channa from you hand gently but if you do any misbehave with them then you may have suffer from their anger, so be careful while feeding them.
Don't hide your pockets from them if they ask you and picks your leg, show them if they are asking you to show, if empty they will leave you and go to someone else for their food.
Must careful while carrying bags, better to leave in your vehicle.
Fantastic view.
Nice trinket shops around.
Nice and even staircase.
It is the average temple, but look and feels like a fort.
it's photographic with contrasting colors.
Temple sanctum is nice.
Go there in mornings. We went in late afternoon on a summer day.
Memorable experience over there.
Everyone should go and enjoy.

Shri Ram Temple & Fort
Hindu temple

Religious destination

We planned this as a half day trip from Nagpur. 1.5 hours each way, 1-1.5 hours to visit the fort, temple, Kalidasa memorial etc., and if one wants to make a stop for breakfast/lunch (we stopped at MKHS plaza on the highway) - altogether 5-5.5 hours should be sufficient. A Swift Dzire rented car charged Rs.3,000.
This was somewhat a hurriedly planned trip, and hence, did not have the opportunity to research. Still, I felt there’s not much information available either on the government tourism websites or open internet. All I got to find out that this houses a place for Agastya-muni ashram, near which Lord Rama with his family came and stayed for some time during their exile. The present day temple was built by Nagpur’s Maratha ruler Raghuji Bhosale in 18th century… I assumed that the fort was probably built by Marathas also.
I didn’t see any signage of ASI etc, and I hope the fort and temple is preserved, documented from archeological perspective as well, if not already being done.
The fort and temple are easily accessible with not more than 50 steps all combined, I guess. The temples are very we maintained and clean. The view of Ramtek city from the top of the temple walls are breathtaking.
One should be careful about monkeys.
Restrooms are not in best of the shapes, and can certainly be improved for convenience of visitors.
Overall, very good experience as a half-day trip from Nagpur.
Rajarshi Saha — Google review
The place is ok for a one day visit. The temple is very old and has immense historical importance. There are a plenty of hawkers and monkeys prevalent around the temple area so be careful with your belongings. The views from the place is good.

This Gadh Mandir is situated at Ram Tekadi ( Ram Hill ) in Ratek.. A very big temple of Lord Ram is here...Its a bhonsle dynasty temple architecture is very big & beautiful...Some renovation work is going on my last visit.. Ram Navami & Tipur Pornima are big festivals are celebrated here You may visit if you want to visit a temple as this is the most famous temple around Nagpur. By road, it takes around 90 mins to reach from Nagpur. After reaching, you may park at the base of the mountain and take the hundreds of steps to the temple, or you may drive to the top and then you would just need to climb around 25 to 30 steps that come after intervals.
The temple compound is clean, but devoid of maintenance. Old structures could have been maintained better.
The temple area is supposed to be full of monkeys, but fortunately we didnt see more than one troupe of 5-6 monkeys. These monkeys are know to snatch things from your hand, hoping to find food. It is advised that you do not carry any purse or mobile phone or any bag while visiting the temple.

Reasonably well maintained stairway, but, at d same time Temple is n dilapidated condition.
U may visit d temple by vehicle too.
No charges of whatsoever nature required to be paid.

The reservoir, Khekra Nala Dam, is a fantastic location to spend a weekend with loved ones. It offers ample opportunities for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of nature. The dam itself is quite large and impressive, and there is also a spillway nearby. Additionally, visitors can explore the Sai mandir located beside the dam. Resorts in close proximity make it convenient for those wanting to stay overnight or visit the Pench tiger reserve gate.
