If your new to visit the forest go for the old part of the forest and spend atleast 2 days so that you can enjoy the whole jungle. There is also vary nice facility of resort inside the forest by the government also there are various private resort available in which you can get rooms through online booking. Kaur type nagzira resort.
Now days 5tigers are in the forest and various different type of birds you can see in this forest . Most possibility of seeing wild dogs . If your lucky u can have citations of tiger and leopard 🐆.
Many of photogenic people came for having great nature pictures .
Only come before rainy season during summer.there is more chance to see the whole animals of the jungle.

This sanctuary is the abode of about 36 species of reptiles belonging to 2 natural orders and 11 families out of which about 6 species are of endangered status namely Indian Rock Python, Dhaman, Indian Cobra, Russel's Viper, Checkered Keelback and Common Monitor.
The Gond kings once ruled these forests in the vicinity of the Bhandara. In 1970, 116.54 km2 (45.00 sq mi) was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary. In 2012, state government announced to merge this sanctuary with another national park to include in Saving tiger project
It is an important conservation unit in Central India in general and Vidarbha in particular. It acts a "Green-lung" for the adjoining human settlements and helps in maintaining the environmental balance.

Went there in last week ie Oct 17
Booked online, morning slot
Forest was quite dense and cool, guide was also good, but sad part is was not able to locate many species there.
As per discussion with guide if you wanna see good amount of animals than go there near June evening slot.

Our trip to Nagzira in March 2020 turned out better than expected. We saw wild dogs (dhols), a female leopard, langur, spotted deer, sambar deer, nilgai, peacocks, gaur, wild boar, owl in the space of three safaris. The Central Indian jungle gives a serene feeling and it was very soothing to experience nature and wildlife from an open Jeep. Our driver and guide were friendly and knew the forest well though we had to often poke them to tell us few things. We stayed at FDCM Nagzira resort and it was quite a unique experience to stay inside the core zone of a tiger reserve.
Few people saw a leopard couple at the resort restaurant at night and there are almost always deer and langurs very close to the restaurant.

Love this place for Leopards and wild dogs although we did sight a male tiger.. Beautiful untouched park.
If you come here do stay with Nagzira Nature Camp( search them on google for the contact number) very close to Chorkhamara entry gate. You will get througho professional service. They are fully into Wildlife, you can book your accommodation and they will help you with Safari party your pick and drop from near by station and airport. So one place for Nagzira to stay is the place. Book well in advance and get the best of hospitality.

Pench National Park is very close to Nagpur, almost 80 km which takes around 1.5 hours by own car.
Jungle is huge with different views of river, forest , deep bamboo forest and horizonal landscape.

Pench Tiger Reserve, nestled in the heart of India, is a mesmerizing destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Spanning over 758 sq km across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, this reserve is named after the Pench River, which meanders through the park. Inspired by its stunning wilderness, Rudyard Kipling immortalized Pench in 'The Jungle Book', making it a place of global literary significance.
The reserve's biodiversity is its most compelling feature. Home to a significant population of majestic Royal Bengal tigers, Pench offers a high probability of tiger sightings.
Safaris in Pench are well-organized, with knowledgeable guides adding immense value to the wildlife experience. The thrill of encountering a tiger in its natural habitat is unparalleled and the heart of the Pench experience. However, it's not just about tigers; the park's overall ecosystem is a testament to successful conservation efforts. becoz we were not able to view the tigers so closely except Laxmi from far
In summary, Pench Tiger Reserve offers a quintessential Indian wildlife experience. Its rich biodiversity, high chance of tiger sightings, and captivating landscapes make it a standout destination. While there are conservation challenges, the reserve's commitment to protecting its diverse inhabitants is evident, making a visit here both exhilarating and enlightening.

Wonderful experience for kids and adults alike. Had some real good sightings of Tiger, Leopard, Deer, and Birds. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. It does get hot pretty soon though, so make sure you start early, around 5 15 or 5 30 from your resorts. From 6 AM to 9 AM, you should get some real good sightings time. Post that, afternoon safaris will get real hot, but greater chances of really good sightings. April to May is the prime season for sightings as well because the heat makes the animals wander out for water. will definitely come back here next year.

Exploring Pench National Tiger Reserve was a mesmerizing adventure, surrounded by a captivating jungle landscape. During our four-hour safari in an open-top jeep, we marveled at the diverse array of wildlife, including wild dogs, panthers, majestic tigers, and graceful deer. The thrill of encountering bison and the enchanting sight of numerous birds added to the overall fantastic and fascinating experience.

Been here twice. Sightings are good. Plenty of Tigers and leopards around.
All the guides and drivers are good. The forest officials take care of the park well.
The park is not very big compared to some of the other forest reserves in the country but it is nice. Teak trees primarily in the jungle. The safari pathways are well laid out and not very bumpy.
There are a few separate entries to the park but i have always taken the Turia gate entry. The park opens at exact time after proper verification.
It is about one and half hours drive from tbe Nagpur airport with enough stay options available.
Booking your safari in advance is advised.

Although we didn't see the tiger but the experience at Pench National park was itched in our memory for life. Pench National park is well managed and has lot of attractions. Sillari gate is more popular for tiger sighting. Kolitmara gate has Safari and Agro tourism which is worth a visit. Safari in a well maintained and undisturbed jungle is very wonderful experience

It's a nice place far from the city crowd. If you're a nature Lover you'll love this place. There are 2 kinds of Safari night and day. I've done both. Animal sighting is more prominent in the day but experience in the jungle at night is something else.✨
Govind Pal — Google review
Most have heard of the park and would have done enough research before visiting . DO NOT come with the expectation of seeing a tiger on safari . That needs a lot of luck . You could see deer . And when they take u to core sector , remember u r only allowed in 15 % or less of the core sector . It's the safari people job to say sighting done yesterday and full chance , but it's all on your luck .
Accurate Weighing Machine Co — Google review
Very good experience at Pench. We entered through the Khursapar gate in Maharashtra for the safari. The safari Gypsy vehicle will even pick you from nearby resorts on additional payment. Make sure to book entry tickets in advance
Hari — Google review
It was a good experience, spotting tigers and a leopard on our initial safari was fortunate. For those less keen on animals, one visit with two safaris should be enough, especially if you're lucky enough to see tigers and leopards.
The experience could have been better further with a wider variety of animals to encounter.
Venky — Google review
One of the best national parks IMHO ... Multiple gates for safari. One can book stay n safari together. 4 safaris minimum are recommended. Turia gate experience was best. Very punctual, good coordinated execution. Driver n guide are knowledgeable. Chances of spotting a tiger or leopard are high here. Ample birds n other animals can b spotted easily. A good jungle experience I would say.

Shri Ram Temple & Fort
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Fortress
Religious destination
Sacred & Religious Sites
We planned this as a half day trip from Nagpur. 1.5 hours each way, 1-1.5 hours to visit the fort, temple, Kalidasa memorial etc., and if one wants to make a stop for breakfast/lunch (we stopped at MKHS plaza on the highway) - altogether 5-5.5 hours should be sufficient. A Swift Dzire rented car charged Rs.3,000.
This was somewhat a hurriedly planned trip, and hence, did not have the opportunity to research. Still, I felt there’s not much information available either on the government tourism websites or open internet. All I got to find out that this houses a place for Agastya-muni ashram, near which Lord Rama with his family came and stayed for some time during their exile. The present day temple was built by Nagpur’s Maratha ruler Raghuji Bhosale in 18th century… I assumed that the fort was probably built by Marathas also.
I didn’t see any signage of ASI etc, and I hope the fort and temple is preserved, documented from archeological perspective as well, if not already being done.
The fort and temple are easily accessible with not more than 50 steps all combined, I guess. The temples are very we maintained and clean. The view of Ramtek city from the top of the temple walls are breathtaking.
One should be careful about monkeys.
Restrooms are not in best of the shapes, and can certainly be improved for convenience of visitors.
Overall, very good experience as a half-day trip from Nagpur.
Rajarshi Saha — Google review
The place is ok for a one day visit. The temple is very old and has immense historical importance. There are a plenty of hawkers and monkeys prevalent around the temple area so be careful with your belongings. The views from the place is good.

This Gadh Mandir is situated at Ram Tekadi ( Ram Hill ) in Ratek.. A very big temple of Lord Ram is here...Its a bhonsle dynasty temple architecture is very big & beautiful...Some renovation work is going on my last visit.. Ram Navami & Tipur Pornima are big festivals are celebrated here You may visit if you want to visit a temple as this is the most famous temple around Nagpur. By road, it takes around 90 mins to reach from Nagpur. After reaching, you may park at the base of the mountain and take the hundreds of steps to the temple, or you may drive to the top and then you would just need to climb around 25 to 30 steps that come after intervals.
The temple compound is clean, but devoid of maintenance. Old structures could have been maintained better.
The temple area is supposed to be full of monkeys, but fortunately we didnt see more than one troupe of 5-6 monkeys. These monkeys are know to snatch things from your hand, hoping to find food. It is advised that you do not carry any purse or mobile phone or any bag while visiting the temple.

The jungle safari experience is kind of ok. This scantuary has less number of animals as compared to other nations parks.
We went during rainy season so even sighting a deer was a difficult task. We didn't even see any peacocks or any other birds. Only thing we saw in safari was few monkeys and butterflies.
Overall experience of green jungle was good.

A good jungle safari with family. Good jeep with good driver and guide. Didn't sight the Tiger but sighted Bison, deer, Sambar, Peacock, Rabit, monkey. 3.5 hours of safari. Two timings to do Safari. 1) morning 6-8am entry and exit by 10.30am.2) afternoon 3-5pm entry and exit by 6.30pm. This time is for winters and the entry time in summer is early in morning while exit is late in evening.

The sanctuary is 189 sq km. It has 10-11 Tigers. And some bears. I visited this place on 14th February. I didn't get to see tiger.
Only saw 2,3 deers. 2 peacock, 3 pigs, 1 owl, and neel cow. (bison in English I think).
So, ultimately it was totally not amusing much. Its so dusty. You will find tons of brown dust all over you. You cannot escape that. You have to take bath as soon as possible.
People did found a mother and 4 tigers of 3 months on 10th February. Also on 13th February they found 2 tigers near border. Don't know how true was that. Because I didn't get to see any animals inside the jungle in whole 4 hours of safari. No elephants here. And just monkey's. No rabbits. No dogs. No snakes.

A must visit for Ganesh bhakts.

Beautiful architecture, clean and maintained. This place can accommodate a lot of devotees simultaneously. On some significant days like Chaturthis, naturally the temple becomes overcrowded, so they have police guiding the public and have proper inspection on the entrance. Although there's a huge parking inside, but you need to park your vehicle outside the temple's premises whenever it's overcrowded, since it would be overwhelming for the police to inspect every vehicle to prevent any mishap.
Besides lord Ganesha there are other idols of lord Shiv, Lakshmi, Hanuman, etc. On the entrance there are shops to buy garlands, flowers, camphor, incense sticks, etc. They have their own packages that would include all of these. The visitors can select accordingly. On the entrance there's a shoe stand, but you need to keep the token safe unless you want to go home barefooted!

The serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings of Shri Vighnesh - Ganpathi Temple in Adasa offer a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While the stunning views are truly captivating, accessibility might pose a challenge for the elderly and disabled individuals due to the presence of stairs. However, the temple's provision of ample paid parking and nearby shops add convenience and enhance the overall visit experience for all visitors.
Additionally parking charges are taken 10rs per vehicle

Temple is merely 40 Kms from Nagpur and has distinctive road approaches either from Patansaongi or from Kalmeshwar. Importantly the roads are being developing and one must go slow as this could led to an severe accident. There are also some areas where poor light is there no proper street lights and can cause accidents. Otherwise a nice, neat and tidy temple premises where thousands of devotees travel to come visit to this temple.

Long-established national park known for its dense woodlands, diverse flora & Bengal tiger reserve.
Tadoba is one of my favorite Tiger Reserve park 🐅
Only one feedback I have is the forest department shall allow carrying mobile phones during Safari. All other National parks across India phones are allowed, not sure why it's not permitted here.
My personal request to change guidelines and allow us to carry phones in Safari.
Thanks

It’s really very nice experience , chances of getting tigers are really high . Our Guide was really good , we followed his instructions and we got the very good sight of tiger.. Tigress Maya with her two cubs , Tigress chotti Madhu… , Cubs of tigress W .
Better you carry some food stuff like fruits and chips chikki type things and water if you have kids with you…bcoz a single safari is of 4 hrs and kids really get hungry…
Carry warm clothes apart from scarf , sunglasses , binoculars etc for morning safari in winter (January and February both months )

Tadoba the place is well known for its tiger reserve. It is home to more than 115 tigers, 151 leopards and more than 300 species of other wildlife. I went with my friends and booked 2 rooms in resort. The staying cost was around 2200 per person just for 1 night inclusive of lunch, snacks, dinner and next day breakfast. We booked buffer safari costing around 5000 and core safari cost more than 9000 depends upon the season and the availability as the waiting time for core safari was more than 2 months. We were lucky enough to saw the tiger. The tiger name is choti Madhu and she is the most beautiful tiger in tadoba as told by safari ranger.

What a beautiful place. This is absolute thrilling experience. It's a dense forest area. Full of Deers, sambars, Peacocks, and offcourse King tiger 🐅. We went for early morning safari in core zone.
Total safari costed us Rs7250. This includes Private Gypsy for 4 hours with capacity of 6 tourist, Driver and Guide charges. Also camera charges. One of the things you should remember that MOBILE PHONES are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside Jungle area. So one compulsory needs to carry Camera for photography.
We explored Jungle. It was very scenic and full of wild creatures. There were many water bodies inside Jungle with crocodiles 🐊.
Finally after long exploration we got our reward. Our guide got information that there is a Tiger spotting in nearby Lake.
So we hurried there. But when we went there tigress was sleeping inside bush. So we along with many other Tourist waited for almost 45 minutes at same spot. Finally the moment came and Tigress gracefully walked out of bush and came out in open water. In few minutes her 8 month old CUBS also came out in playfull mood. That was some experience.
After almost 45 minutes we started our exit journey.
I must say I'll definitely keep coming back to this wild paradise. There are many hotel options around. Also it is recommended to book safari atleast 4 month before your visit.

While the tiger is the usp, there are many many more animals and birds that you will get to see here. The climate is very very hot and if you really want to enjoy and make the best of your time, it is advisable to wear covered cotton clothing at all times, tied hair and head covered and carrying water bottles is a must

One of the best national parks to spot tigers, we spotted 2 tigers Charger and Heena through the Shreekheda gate. It was mating season and 4 tigers were we easy to spot in that zone.

Aundha Naganath Temple is a revered pilgrimage site known for its historical significance and architectural splendor.
Devotees flock to this sacred site to pay homage to Lord Shiva and seek blessings for prosperity and well-being.
However, I have concerns about priests soliciting money aggressively, detracting from the spiritual ambiance of the temple. While the temple itself holds cultural and religious importance, the persistent demands for monetary offerings can overshadow the sanctity of the pilgrimage experience for some worshippers.

One of the 12 Jyotirlings, Aundha Nagnath 8th Jyotirling (Nageshwar) temple is located in Hingoli District and is an important place of pilgrimage.
The original temple is said to be from time of the Mahabharata and is believed to have been constructed by Yudhishthira, eldest of the Pandavas, when they were expelled for 14 years from Hastinapur.
It has been stated that the temple building was seven-storeyed before it was sacked by Aurangzeb. The present temple is said to have been rebuilt by Ahilyabai Holkar.

8th number of jyotirlinga.. This temple was destroyed during Aurangzeb's conquests. The present standing temple was rebuilt by Ahilyabai Holkar. One of the most ancient temples in Maharashtra... Whenever you enter the bottom of this temple automatically you feel one invisible power into your body..

This is the 8th Jyotirlinga and located near Hingoli.
To reach this temple you can either take a cab from Aurangabad (210 KM) and cover this as well as Parli Vaijanath Jyotirlinga together
Or
You can reach the nearest railway junction named Parbhani (51 KM) or reach the nearest railway station named Chondi (21 KM)
You can also take Private or Public bus service operated from Aurangabad, Pune, Thane, Nashik, Nagpur etc. Nanded is a major town 70 KM from Aundha.
I will suggest visiting the temple early in the morning. It opens at 5:30. You can visit the temple in the early morning and have a glimpse of the sunrise in the campus of the temple. The blend of the historical architecture and nature will be the most memorable experience.
This temple has references and connections in Purana Pandav Kal, Mughal Kal and Ahilyabhai Kal.
You can easily perform Puja on the jyotirlinga. Shashtriji and Panditji of this temple are very helpful and charge reasonable and allow to perform Abhishek on Jyotirlinga.
Jyotirlinga is down in a cellar(undercroft) and you need to go down and come up using a 2 or 3 feet step which may not be possible for physically challenged or disabled people, which need to be kept in mind.
If you will be lucky you will find a young guy who is working as a private guide. He will take a nominal amount as a guide.
You must hear the history and story about this temple from this guide. Every penny spent for a 5-7 minute story will be worth it.
There is a Bhakt Nivas (lodge) managed by the temple management and within the campus of the Temple. I have not stayed there so can't comment about cleanliness and procedure. But you can definitely consider this as an option for a short stay. They hardly charge 300 or 500 Rs for the stay.
The government must highlight this temple and need to speed up the road infrastructure in surrounding towns and villages.

Temple is very beautiful, i have spent hours studying the details of the carving. This place is very well maintained.
1. Temple was built from single stone carving during 13th century
2. Temple building was said to be seven-storied before it was demolished by Aurangzeb.
3. The Jyotirlinga is located below the ground level accessed by two deep steps.
4. The Aundha Nagnath premises also house 12 small temples for the 12 Jyotirlingas.
5. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, big Mela and Bhandara hosts many devotees.

Aundha Nagnath Temple (one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples) in Hingoli, Maharashtra is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is worshipped as Lord Nagnath in this region. The devotees praying to Lord Nagnath believe that the Lord will guide them to the correct path of life, just as he did with demons at Darukavane.
The temple opens at 4:00 AM in the morning and closes at 9:00 PM in the evening. The temple also performs various rituals during this time. The devotees can be a part of these rituals such as the afternoon and evening aarti.
The timings of Aundha Nagnath Temple are as follows:
Darshan4:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Darshan during Shravan Maas4:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Afternoon Pooja1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Evening Pooja4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
It is a popular belief that the Nagesh Linga or the Jyotirlinga is the Adhya or the first Jyotirlinga on Earth. Devotees believe that by praying at this temple, one can protect themselves against all kinds of poisons. Since this form of Shiva is Nagnath since he has a snake around his neck. This association with snakes has led to a belief that this Linga is very powerful and potent against negating the harmful effects of all poisons. Devotees have often sighted snakes with open hoods guarding the Linga.

Legend
A famous story is told about Namdev and Aundha Nagnath temple. Once he was chanting bhajans in front of the temple along with Dnyaneshwar, Visoba Khechara and some other devotees, the temple priests told him that his singing in front of the temple was disturbing his regular pooja and prayers and asked him to leave the temple. The priest of the temple insulted Bhagat Namdev and told him why he came to the temple because he was of low caste. Then Bhagat Namdev went to the back side of the temple and started chanting hymns there. But God moved around the temple to be in the sight of the sad devotee and listen to the bhajans. Why Nandi is at the back of the temple is a testimony to that miracle.
Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, is said to have visited the Aundha Nagnath temple during his travels in the area and also visited Narasi Bamni, the birthplace of Namdev. It has to be mentioned here that Namdev is worshiped as Bhagat Namdev in Sikhism.
The best time to visit the temple is during the festivals of Ekadashi, Vijayadashami and Mahashivratri when a large number of devotees come to visit the temple.

Also known as the Aundha Nagnath Temple, it's one of the oldest surviving ancient temple in the Maharashtra State.
There is this famous story about this temple that the doors of Temple turned to the west side because the pandits didn't allowed Bhagat Namdev Ji to enter into the temple because of his lower cast and made him sit on the backside of the temple. And when he sat on the back side of the temple and started chanting shlokas of divine, the door of the temple rotated to where he was sitting. Now, there is a small temple has been built on that side in his memory.
The only thing I disliked about this place that as soon as you enter the temple premises, priests start demanding money on the donation and the forces you to donate more and more. The bigger problem is that they almost harass or embarass you for donation money.

It was created by meteorite hitting the earth.
Surrounded by ancient temples glorifies the lake more.
It is around 1.8km in diameter and 150meters in depth.
View point is located outside the lake temple premises where we can get the beautiful view of the entire lake.
Once inside the premises, there are temple stairways and trail road to lead down till the lake.

Nice one day trek both ways up to the base of the lake and back. The lake itself is a natural wonder of the world - the largest crater lake and the largest crater from basalt rock. There are fresh water streams around the salt water lake with no explanations of their origin. Great old architecture mandirs dot around the lake. Lonar Lake is one of the best sites to visit in Maharashtra and you can call it one of the wonders of India. Lonar is one of the lakes in the world formed due to the impact of a meteoroid on the Earth which is also known as the mysterious lake due to the various facts.
To reach Lonar Lake the nearest railway station is Jalna and from there, it is around 2 hours from the bus where the bus frequency is very limited from Jalna bus stand.
To reach the water level of the lake one has to hike a lot which depends on the speed and pace of the hike, it took around 45 minutes to reach the water level. The hike is kind of tiring and carry enough amount of water along with you.
At one entrance, you have to pay 40₹ per person for an entry ticket. If you are travelling solo either hire a guide or walk along with a group of people as the way downstairs is a jungle area and leopard and monitor lizards are often spotted here. I was walking alone and at one point a group of monkeys tried to attack me, thank god to the group of three who were walking a few meters behind me otherwise it would have been a horrifying situation for me.
The way is smooth and you can see ample temples and ruins on the way even you can find signboards showing the way to the lake.
I think the Maharashtra government should take some measures to protect this national geo world heritage site, I could see thrash everywhere on the path.
Overall it was an amazing experience visiting this mysterious lake.

It is not so famous yet but has its own natural beauty. There are old Hindu temples around Lonar also that one can include in their itinerary.

Lonar Lake is a beautiful and unique lake located in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra, India. It is the only major crater lake in the world formed by a meteorite impact. The lake is surrounded by forest and is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
Overall, Lonar Lake is a great place to visit for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The lake is beautiful and the surrounding area is full of interesting things to see and do. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique travel experience.

The Ajanta Caves, dating back to the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, are adorned with intricate designs and religious artwork. These caves are situated along a steep gorge that borders the Waghore River. Among the various caves, five serve as prayer halls while others act as dwellings. While early Buddhist caves represent Buddha through symbols such as footprints and wheels of law, those from around the 5th century AD follow Mahayana practices.
This is one of great tourist site in India. Caves, painting and carvings are simply beautiful. You will feel proud about our ancestors and the marvelous art they have left behind in our reach heritage. One must spend enough time in each of 30 caves to understand beauty of the place. In rainy season this might be on top of natural Beauty. Planning to visit in next August or September.

Cave 2, adjacent to Cave 1, is known for the paintings that have been preserved on its walls, ceilings, and pillars. It looks similar to Cave 1 and is in a better state of preservation. This cave is best known for its feminine focus, intricate rock carvings and paint artwork yet it is incomplete and lacks consistency. One of the 5th-century frescos in this cave also shows children at a school, with those in the front rows paying attention to the teacher, while those in the back row are shown distracted and acting.
Cave 2 (35.7 m × 21.6 m) was started in the 460s, but mostly carved between 475 and 477 CE, probably sponsored and influenced by a woman closely related to emperor Harisena. It has a porch quite different from Cave 1. Even the façade carvings seem to be different. The cave is supported by robust pillars, ornamented with designs. The front porch consists of cells supported by pillared vestibules on both ends.
The hall has four colonnades which are supporting the ceiling and surrounding a square in the center of the hall. Each arm or colonnade of the square is parallel to the respective walls of the hall, making an aisle in between. The colonnades have rock-beams above and below them. The capitals are carved and painted with various decorative themes that include ornamental, human, animal, vegetative, and semi-divine motifs. Major carvings include that of goddess Hariti. She is a Buddhist deity who originally was the demoness of smallpox and a child eater, who the Buddha converted into a guardian goddess of fertility, easy child birth and one who protects babies.
The paintings on the ceilings and walls of Cave 2 have been widely published. They depict the Hamsa, Vidhurapandita, Ruru, Kshanti Jataka tales and the Purna Avadhana. Other frescos show the miracle of Sravasti, Ashtabhaya Avalokitesvara and the dream of Maya. Just as the stories illustrated in cave 1 emphasise kingship, those in cave 2 show many noble and powerful women in prominent roles, leading to suggestions that the patron was an unknown woman. The porch's rear wall has a doorway in the center, which allows entrance to the hall. On either side of the door is a square-shaped window to brighten the interior.

Ajanta Caves are a set of 30 Buddhist caves, some of them dating a few centuries BC, and the site is an awesome historical place to visit; and if you are not tired after going up and down stairs by the time you visit most of the caves, you can still hike up more stairs on the other side of the river to have a panoramic view of them, and also of the river and waterfall, that are active during the wet season. I got there at opening time (9AM) and didn’t have to wait, except for the shuttle bus taking you 5km to the restaurant and caves.

A place to experience the grandeur of the Indian heritage and culture. Mainly dedicated to Buddhism but has the presence of Hinduism and Jainism as well.
Peace and quiet, the feeling of serenity in the caves is something we can only experience and not explain in words.
Foothill restaurant serves good food.
Take at least 2 to 3 hours and be prepared for a walk/climb and opening the shoes repeatedly.
The bus ride is scenic. Recommend hiring the guide provided by the government. They do a good job explaining the caves.

Ajanta Caves is located about 100 km away from Aurangabad. The road is good and you reach the parking where you have to pay Rs 50/- as parking charge and Rs 15/- per head as amenities charge.
From the parking, a bus takes you to the caves where you are charged per head Rs 30/- for A/c and Rs 25/- for regular.
The ticket window to the caves charges Rs 40/- per head and camera is free. Here, you are checked and then can proceed to the caves. There is a cafeteria and also clean restrooms.
There are steps and a ramp to the caves and even a chair lift available(charged extra) for those who can not climb.
The caves are very well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and mostly are temperature controlled. It is advisable to wear easy to remove footwear as nearly in all caves foot wear has to be removed. The paintings are preserved and advisable to have a book explaining which cave has what.
Guide railings are there, and attendants are there for each cave.
The road back is also easy and worth the visit.

Beware of monkeys. There is lot of parking.

Some suggestions for improvement -
1. Accept UPI instead of cash for entry and bus tickets .
2. Do not allow hawkers at the parking lot.
3 . Proper sign boards to the bus parking area.

Worth visiting this Marvel from 8th century AD. Try taking the right trail from 1-16 caves and then if you have energy, go for the left wing. Lovely place to spend a day to go through the caves. Some caves are better preserved than others. Some caves were left incomplete. Stories of Buddhist origin, philosophy and vision are well carved in stones/rocks. A good guide or at least a good guidebook will make the trip more meaningful.
The buddhist temple Aurangabad caves are a fantastic attraction in the city of Aurangabad. The complex of 12 caves was carved out of soft basalt rock and date back to 6th or 7th century AD. The Ajanta caves, one of the most popular attractions in the complex, are a magnificent structure that depicts different stages of Lord Buddha. The cave is also a UNESCO world heritage site and is safe for children to visit.

The place is so beautiful and calming, the people who work there are good at their job and helpful.
They have good maintenance of the outside area of the caves.
But the government should know and understand that these historical monuments are precious and need to be taken care of. These monuments give each city an identity and thus give value to our nation.
The caves are not at all maintained from the inside, It smells dirty and also the walls are getting more dirty and infectious. There are statues of Our supreme Buddha which are not properly maintained and there are no rules for visitors to showcase respect towards those statues.
People who take photographs are so disrespectful towards the place and statues.
I think people should learn to show some respect towards our monuments which showcase our history.

Very interesting place!
There's an open ground at the base of the hill, so ample parking available. There's a washroom before you start climbing the hill, no facilities in the caves, so be mindful.
The caves sit atop the hill, the stairs lead to them. The panaromic view of the city from the top is gorgeous.
Like all rock cut places, this cave also has a calming, chill feel to it. The caves are not lit, so the main attraction - the massive Buddha statue with the disciples - sits in dark. I'd have really appreciated if there were a few guides who'd explain the carvings on the walls. Some of them did get spike my curiosity.
Clearly, there's been a lot of patch work done to make it tourist friendly. But nonetheless, it's a nice place to visit and spend a couple of hours.

Aurangabad Cave Temple. Jesus, Mohammed were not born yet. India was home to pure Indians. They follow the teachings of Hinduism , Buddhism and Jainism, three of the world's oldest religions. The mythology of those days described 'Devgiri' as the abode of the gods. The muni sages of the three religions lived in the beautiful coniferous forest of that beautiful mountain. It is written in the Shiva Purana that sometimes even Mahadev himself used to visit that land. In harmony with all religions, the mountains used to chant Sanskrit and Pali verses. The Buddhist caves of Aurangabad are contemporary with Ellora and Ajanta, but how much do we know about them? In Devgiri (Aurangabad) our ancestors built twelve stone-cut Buddhist temples on a hill extending from east to west near the city. The hill is also formed from volcanic lava, but experts say the Aurangabad Buddhist caves were excavated from relatively soft basalt rock in the 6th and 7th centuries. The Great Chaitya Cave Inscription of Kanheri Cave mentions Aurangabad Cave. Of the 12 caves, caves numbered 1-6 are named the "Western Group", 7-9 the "Eastern Group" and the three unfinished caves 10-12 the "Northern Cluster". Cave number 4 among them is Chaitya Stupa. The caves hidden in the green hills are beautiful to see from a distance. The architectural styles of the Aurangabad caves include deities and stupas of the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana architectural styles. In some of the Buddhist caves, you can find statues of several Hindu deities including Durga, Ganesha, as well as numerous Tantric Buddhist deities. When I saw the seven matrika idols in the Vajrayana cave, I first thought they were Hindu idols, but later I heard that they were Tantric Buddhist goddesses.
The caves are not very big in size, a bit dilapidated and maybe neglected as comparatively few tourists visit. Carved in the Sihyachal range, the Aurangabad caves may have been somewhat overshadowed by the influence of the great names of the Ellora and Ajanta cave temples. Although its sculptures are comparable to those of Ajanta and Ellora. The cave temples of Aurangabad, carved between the 6th and 7th centuries, are located about nine kilometers from Aurangabad city centre.
Must visit place along with Ajanta and Ellora caves.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

Visited this place on 15th Aug, 2023, i.e. Public Holiday. So there was a huge crowd, really, very heavy crowd, as it was the time of monsoon too.
Important points:
•> There is a huge crowd, primarily compromising of the local peoples, but there is only one ticket counter, and about 500 m long line. Quite disappointing. So it's a good decision to pay online through QR code beside the ticket counter. They give ₹5 discount if paid online. So the ticket which usually costs Rs. 25, costs Rs. 20, and you save time.
•> There are huge parks around, to wonder and spend time with your closed ones. Also the mountains all around give a wholesome vibe. There is a small temple on one of the peak with a big indian flag which looks so damn beautiful.
•> You will not take much time to visit this place completely. It can be completed in 1 hour if you have other plans too. Like visiting the soneri mahal, which is at little distance from this place. Google map can help if you decide to walk.
•> Kindly control your children as the railings on the side of the platform of maqbara is not very strong, so sitting on them is prohibited too. Beware of falling on stairs due to the crowd.
Don't pollute the place kindly. Be responsible and enjoy.

Good historic place but due to our government negligence this place will be worse in the next 10-15 years. But after comparing our fort condition this place maintenance is a little bit good. Good location. The surroundings are good. Beautiful nature senary. Pay and park available. Security system at gate is good.

Surroundings are well maintained but the outer structure has bad patches due to weather conditions. No digital payments are accepted to buy tickets and its only cash.

It's more like the Taj than you'd expect. There are beautiful gardens on all sides - shaded and quiet.
Be sure to get a view of the monument from the back. Not sure if the marble and plaster have stayed whiter or the light hits it differently - but it is even more etheral and beautiful.
Prepare for it to be hot, though some part of the monument itself offers shade at all times of day.
Bibi ka maqbqrq is located within the Aurangabad city area. Popularly it is caleed mini switzerland . Main Taj was built by Emperor Shahjahan for his wife Momtaj and bibi ka Maqbara is built by Son of Shajahan, Aurangazeb for his wife Rabia Durrani. and grandson Azam Shah. It is designed by Ataullah son of Lohari who designed Tajmahal. The main tomb is surounded by spledid garden and fountain . There are fourmineretes and a stair leading to first floor. There is door from where tomb of the is seen from top.

This is a miniature Taj Mahal land is reasonably impressive. It is worth visiting however is a bit run down and needs some TLC. Clearly it must have been very impressive when built. It is close to the city and cost 300 rupees for entrance.

I would recommend visiting this monument during the Sunset time so you could get both day view and the night view with lights. This place has proper pay and park facility. Would recommend you to book your entry tickets online through Archeological survey of india website/app to save time and money.

It's a must visit if you are in Aurangabad, it's a replica of the Taj Mahal. It's a commemoration of Aurangzeb's wife Dilras banu from her son. ASI charges you around 25 rs per head, and for cameras there is another charge of 25 but not for mobile. The vicinity is beautiful and has many mango trees you will recall Taj Mahal many a times
Panchakki, also known as the water mill, is a must-see attraction in Aurangabad. This site provides insight into medieval science and technology while offering stunning views of its surroundings. It was built to supply water through underground pipes from a nearby tributary and generate energy to grind grains for pilgrims visiting the Baba Shah Musafir Dargah. Panchakki is a popular destination in Aurangabad, alongside other significant sites.

Excellent experience. Magnificent structures and views all around. Locals are really not helpful and give all false information. There are a total of 34 caves among which I felt Cave 16 which is the centre one as soon as we enter and Cave 29 which is a bit far are excellent. For cave 16, If you are fit enough try to climb the hill for the top view. En route to Cave 29, you will get a waterfall and the view is really amazing. Even though this is inside, Cave 29 is huge make sure you don't miss it.
It's a holiday on Tuesday(check once before you leave). It will take around 3-4 hours depending on the time you use to take pics. Overall a nice experience.
Note: You won't get food inside only water so make sure you get something to eat. Since the overall duration will be more.

These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Ellora, with its uninterrupted sequence of monuments dating from A.D. 600 to 1000, brings the civilization of ancient India to life. Not only is the Ellora complex a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit but, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.

This was one of the most unique experiences I have ever had. The Ellora caves are filled with history and ancient architecture. This is one of the World UNESCO Heritage sites.
The magnificent structures are amazing to watch and experience. There are almost 34 different caves in here. Although we went to only one of the caves.
You will at least need 3 to 4 hours if you want to thoroughly explore the caves. It is good to have a guide along to understand the architectural marvel.
The caves are very well maintained and kept clean. Also, we found facilities like clean washrooms and proper wheelchair accessibility here.
Overall it was a good experience. To get more details about this place and also other beautiful travel destinations login to my website www.travelclever.co.in

It's beautiful to see ancient caves at Ellora. Feels like a single day would not be sufficient to see these caves in detail. Because there are many caves. There are electric vans to reach a few caves. Waterfall at one of the caves is mesmerizing. I would suggest to carry water bottles or snacks along with you, as selling water bottles and food is not allowed inside the caves premises.

Kailash temple is an architectural marvel. The top view is amazing. Some of the Caves have multi-stories. You might need one full day to visit all the caves properly. Watch the caves closely so that you can see the mural paintings also in the ceiling and walls.
Please check the day, it will be closed all Monday.

It was a awesome experience visiting this place. The whole experience was just too good. I was taken up by the size of the structure!
The entry and the upkeep of the caves is very good.
We visited all the important caves. All were awesome it is own way. I would suggest you start from South and walk up. Infact of you don't want to walk, they operate a battery car, you can take it.
Whether you take the battery car or not, you will need to walk up the cave. There is no escaping that. The steps are steep.
Plan to spend atleast a day on this. Take enough water.

This price of art took centuries to build and we are witnessing one of the best architectural advanced techniques of our ancestors.
No words to describe the skill, beauty and devotion of the makers of this place.
Looks impossible to achieve in modern times, however it's a reality.
Over the years it has faced invasion, destruction and still it stands strong and shows us the remains of what was one of the best piece of art.
The caves are extraordinary and the statues carved are more than impossible to make.

I recently visited the Ellora Caves and was absolutely blown away by their beauty and historical significance. The caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Now, is the best time to visit. Only in monsoon you will be able to witness the beautiful waterfalls.
Some Important points:
- Reserve at least 3 hours for the visit.
- Good shoes are must. Please avoid footwear which are not suitable for long walks.
- Electric Vehicle transport (small open bus) are available at extra cost. (Inside)
- Drones are not allowed.
The Kailasa Temple is a monolithic temple that is carved out of a single rock and is one of the largest and most complex rock-cut temples in the world. The Buddhist caves are also notable for their beautiful sculptures, and the Jain caves are the smallest group of caves, but they are still worth visitingI highly recommend visiting the Ellora Caves if you are interested in rich Indian history and culture. They are a truly amazing sight that you will never forget.

Absolutely loved it here.
Contrary to what I had known earlier, this place is HUGE. There are 34 caves with many having A & B, plus there are caves above the waterfall next to cave 29 that no one visits, but I loved the solitude there. Look out for the Ganesh statue in orange in my pictures.
If you are in good shape and want to spend a good 6 hours (not 2 or 3), Ellora is the place to visit, especially if the weather cooperates.
I walked along the golf cart road till Cave 34, and then took the trail from 34 down.

The caves are quite ancient and well preserved with time. The cave right in front of the entrance is really big and beautiful. There's much to explore inside. Many takes are depicted there in the form of rock carvings. Other caves are not as beautiful and attractive as the one at the main entrance. One can go and pay a visit if they really have the capacity and time to roam around under bright sun during day.

Washrooms are available. Almost a whole day is required to visit all the caves. Tour guides are also available there. Ample parking is also available. There are restaurants, shops for souvenirs, eatables, etc. Caves are at distance so there is a lot of walking. There are e-vehicles available at ₹30 per person who has a waiting list so it's time taking. Water bottles, drinking water taps are also available. You can carry eatables inside as well. There are small restaurants and souvenir shops outside the main entrance.

Ellora caves is one of the good examples for architecture students to study and understand the ancient ways of building great remarkable designs and their thoughts with any modern technology and techniques.
I observed lord Buddha idols on the right and lord Shiva idols on the left, there should be some inner reason to design in this way. One of the good things I found is they are storing water all over the place during rain. We could also see their rain water harvesting.
wheelchair accessible is there for people who can't walk.
EV vehicles are also there connecting all the places inside.

Start from the middle temple where all the scriptures of Hindu God can be seen. Then head towards the right for the best view, where you can see Buddhist status with an old school-like structure with a waterfall from the above. On the left again you can see the Hindu god statues. As usual go with family and enjoy the atmosphere, You must go in the winter or rainy season.
The Shri Ghrushneshwar Mandir is an intricately carved 18th-century Hindu temple made of red stone that is dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is considered one of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and features carvings of all Vishnu Avatars on its shikhar. But we noticed a few people carrying mobile phones so we asked them to click our pictures and gave them our contact details so that they could send the pictures to us. Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated all over India. It is also known as Ghraneshwar or Ghushmeshwar Temple.
This temple is about 31 km away from the main city. It is located in a Verul city, a city which is known for a very famous Ellora caves. These caves are just a 1 km away from this temple.
The old temple structure was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in 13th and 14th-century. It was re-constructed by Maloji Raje Bhosale, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and later again by the Queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.
This beautiful temple structure is made up of red coloured stones and it is an illustration of Maratha temple architectural style and structure. It has a 5-layered tall shikhara and several pillars which bear intricate mythological carvings. The exterior of the temple also has a carvings and sculptures of many Hindu gods and goddesses on it.

The most devine place I experienced in my life.
Honestly, I was experiencing a divine light in my heart for almost three days. I heared that, a jyotirling touches you at your AAGYAA CHAKRAA if you have a devotion at your heart and, veryfirst time I experienced it at my personal level.
My temple experience was amazing. I was there for two complete days and performed Rudrabhishek also. Honestly I can say this is one among a few places where you may not feel cheated at any level. They allow bhakts to go directly in the garbh-grih to touch the jyotirlinga and perform pooja. For interested devotees, Rudrabhishek pooja is also available which is performed by 11 ved-paathi brahmans for almost an hour. Which gives a total divine experience if you are a true devotee. The crowd is limited and you do not need to wait in a lond queue. Anyone can expect to finish his pooja maximum within 30 mins.
Brahmins are so honest and gentlemen that I felt worthy to touch their feet and also to take their blessings. They do not demand any money at any level. You can stay within the premises and in temple as per your wish.
Outside the temple, flower vendors and mobile lockers are available because leather things like belt, wallet, and mobile phones are not allowed. These vendors charge just 5 Rs to keep these all things safely.
One more tradition, that a male person needs to remove his upper body clothes while darshan. Ladies are not bounded with any such rules and this is because of following the old tradition.
In Ghrishneshwar only any one may find an economic home stay within the range of Rs. 600/- to 1200/-.
Sambhajinagar is the nearest famous city to this place. Along with darshan of Jyotirling, you can also take the darshan of "BHADRA MARUTI" in Khultabaad and world famous heritage site ELLORA. In Ellora, Kailash Temple is made with single stone which is worth watching.
At the last, I would suggest everyone to visit this Jyotirling at least once in life time. Specially who are having LEO as their jodiac sign.
Jai Shree Ram

Lots of business, feels less of bhakti, difficult to get in and have darshan. Some people get in through internal links. No way to come out of line once gotten in. No way to see the ancient temple and enjoy architecture.
Do not carry your baggage, phones, gadgets, camera , they do not allow inside and have to be kept at nearby shops for lockers , instead leave at your place or vehicle securely.

Dwarkamai is a sacred destination for devotees of Sai Baba in Shirdi, India. This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. The temple's atmosphere brims with divine happiness that visitors can feel as they step inside. Dwarkamai houses a rock that Sai Baba used to sit on, making it an important part of his legend.
Dwarka temple is a very nice place. Where there is a crowd of devotees. Devotees come here to fulfill their wishes. Devotee Shri Sai Baba fulfills their wishes. Fills the bags of his devotees with happiness.

It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.
Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba's devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.

Sai Baba’s early years are a mystery. Most accounts mention his birth as a Hindu Brahman and his subsequent adoption by a Sufi fakir, or mendicant. Later in life he claimed to have had a Hindu guru. Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, about 1858 and remained there until his death in 1918.
At first denounced by the villagers of Shirdi as a madman, by the turn of the century Sai Baba had a considerable following of Hindus and Muslims, attracted by his compelling teachings and his performance of apparent miracles, which often involved the granting of wishes and the healing of the sick. He wore a Muslim cap and for the better part of his life lived in an abandoned mosque in Shirdi, where he daily kept a fire burning, a practice reminiscent of some Sufi orders. Yet he named that mosque Dvarakamai, a decidedly Hindu name, and is said to have had substantial knowledge of the Puranas, the bhagvatgita, and various branches of Hindu thought. Sai Baba’s teachings often took the form of paradoxical parables and displayed both his disdain for the rigid formalism that Hinduism and Islam could fall prey to and his empathy for the poor and diseased.
Shirdi is a major pilgrimage site, and other spiritual figures like Upasani Baba and Meher baba credited the teachings of Sai Baba. In the late 20th and early 21st century Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be his incarnation.

Blessed by the grace of Sai Ram, we finally got the chance to visit Shirdi. Mobile phones are not allowed inside Shri Saibaba Darshan Queue complex. Mobile locker available at Rs 5 per mobile and free shoe, chappal stands available. Before heading to the mandir on the street, kindly navigate your way through the situation with a polite deflection from any unnecessary purchases. As I stood in line for Darshan, the sight of Sai Baba's idol filled me with a sense of peace and gratitude. The rhythmic chants during Aarti echoed through the sacred space, creating an atmosphere of devotion that enveloped the entire SaiNagar. The complex was so beautifully well maintained and clean. Very pleased to visit The Dixit Wada Museum. Baba’s robe, clothes, chappals, water pots, grinder and other artifacts are so well conserved. Thanks to Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust for their hardwork and commitment. Next to Samadhi mandir there is Gurusthan, sacred Neem tree, Ganesh mandir, Shani mandir, Shiva Lingam, Nanda deep, Baba’s followers samadhi inside the complex. Also visited Dakshin mukhi Hanuman Mandir, Dwarkamai, Dhuni, Shree Chavadi which are located nearby but outside the complex. Lastly explored nearby sansthan shops to buy Prasad. Purchased some gift items from nearby wholesale shops. At evening we visited the beautiful and picturesque “I Love Saibaba” garden. Om Sai Ram.

Had good dharshan for all the 3 days. We booked for Shej Aarti in advance. We were one of the early birds and waited in line among the first 30 devotees. When we reached the entrance they stopped us for 10 minutes. Once we were allowed inside we were surprised that the hall is jam packed with devotees. But we managed to get a good Dharshan. The guards are breaking the line on their whims. Because of that Late comers in the line are getting priority. Instead of FIFO it is LCFO. At least some senior persons in their hierarchy should supervise line control. Man proposes and God disposes🙏🙏🙏

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

The temple has organised the Q system well , and takes very minimal time to do darshana. Temple premises are kept clean and neat. After getting my blood donation certificate i straight went to gate 02 for vip entry , upon reaching the gaurd said there is no entry from here , you need to go to gate 06 which is a paid darshan gate. Its really disappointing and misleading where on the banner it mentioned FREE VIP ENTRY and the donars are routed to gate 06 .I was on empty stomach and wanted to skip the long queue after the blood donation . Appreciate and request to change the term FREE VIP ENTRY for FREE PAID DARSHAN against BLOOD DONATION . With SAI BABA'S blessings i was able to get through the queue and get his darshan .

Considering the number of visitors visitng this historic place, the place is quite neat and maintained well. Not sure why people are not allowed to go through the gate (were barricaded). The Taj hotels - both the old one and the modern one just opp the gate -look splendid. Good place to take some selfies and snaps of the sea, the gate and the jetty. There were no pigeons when we visited around
11 am.

Weekends are crowded. They now have the scheme of letting people skip the queue by paying ₹100 when the weekend crowd is large. This is the only Ashtavinayak temple that employs such scheme. Parking is limited considering the size of the crowd on weekend.

I visited the Ranjangaon Ganpati Temple, one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and success. The temple is located in the village of Ranjangaon, about 50 km from Pune. The temple is very ancient and has a rich history and legend associated with it. The temple is said to be the place where Lord Shiva invoked Lord Ganesha before defeating the demon Tripurasura. The idol of Lord Ganesha here is known as Mahaganapati, the most powerful form of Ganesha, with 10 trunks and 20 hands. The idol is very impressive and awe-inspiring. The temple complex is well-maintained and has a peaceful atmosphere. The temple also has a beautiful garden with various plants and flowers. The temple is open from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm and offers various services and facilities for the devotees. The temple is easily accessible by road and has parking space

Mahaganpati is one of the hindu gods who is considered to be the big and powerful gods as he defeated and killed Tarakasur the enemy of god once for all. This ganpati temple is situated in Ranjangaon (Pune district) that have quite big and enough space for its followers and worshippers to pray, and devote their time in front of this great deity. The temple is quite old and built around 9th or 10th century. It has a solid rock structure throughout the temple premises that looks like it is built during peshawa tenure. Overall it was a pleasant experience to visit this temple.

A very very holy place and one of the idols from Ashtavinayaka.. Its believed to be created by Lord Shiva. We started our journey from Wagholi, approx 35kms from Wagholi. Road is good, we can enjoy the ride, lots of Dhabas and petrol pumps one can see while heading there. Inside there are many small temples of Lord Shiva and other Gods also there is a beautiful garden which was there, but unfortunately it was closed at the time of visit. Cleanliness and maintainance could be better. GANPATI BAPPA MORYA...

Ranjangaon Ganpati is one among the Ashtavinayak, celebrating eight instances of legends related to Ganesha. This temple's Ganpati idol was inaugurated and donated by the "Khollam" family, a goldsmith family based in Ranjangaon. The temple was built between the 9th and 10th century. The main temple looks like it was built in the Peshwa period. Nagarkhana is situated above the entrance gate. The temple facing east has huge and beautiful entrance gate.
Madhavrao Peshwa made a room in the basement of the temple to keep the idol of lord Ganesh. Later on Sardar Kibe of Indore renovated it. The idol of these lord Ganesh is also named as 'Mahotkat', and it is said that the idol has 10 trunks and 20 hands.
While going from the Pune - Nagar highway the route is Pune - Koregaon - then via Shikrapur; Rajangaon is 21 km before Shirur. From Pune it is 50 km.
In early 1990s, Govt of Maharashtra established an industrial zone (MIDC) on the land acquired from the nearby villages and the industrial establishment is known as Ranjangaon MIDC. It host many multinational manufacturing companies like Whirlpool, LG to name a few.

One of the Ashtvinayak located near Pune, the premises is right on the highway and has 2 parking spaces. One on the left of entry and one after you go through the main gate.
The premises were under construction when I visited and I didn't like the crowd management queue system.
The way to go to the main temple was very confusing.
After you are done with the darshan, to pick your slippers, you have to go through the security part again and then come back extra.
There is a park in the premises which is nice for kids or families to sit and relax.
On the outskirts, you have a market to buy local stuff like vegetables, eatables etc.

We visited the place after 7pm. Just a day before Ram mandir inauguration. There was no crowd. But the entire temple was busy with decorations for the following day. It was nice to watch the preparations. However , coming to Lord Ganapathi ,one cannot take eyes off this Lord, I found it simple yet mesmerizing. It's premises has beautiful paintings narrating the tales of Ganapathi.

One of the lord ganpati in the list of ashtavinayak temples. Maha means big. Many people visit daily. It's situated just near the Pune-Nagar highway so no extra travel is required to reach the temple. Huge parking area but it's paid. A huge entrance area and structure will be identified from the main road. One extra building is added just to manage the crowd. They allow us to skip lanes by paying Rs.100 per person, this is little convenient for rich people. Not a good posture in the temple all should be treated the same. Some of the stone structure and pictorial things made. But disappointed with the management when they are not allowing them to see them and see other things like the garden and entrance part of the main temple. The temple has a big history but manageable is not up to mark. Must visit place with your family members and friends. Avoid the weekend to avoid the rush.

It is a really old and special place dedicated to Lord Ganpati. It's located in a small village and has been around for a long, long time. This temple is so cool that it's even been featured in some Marathi movies!
As one of the Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, Mahaganapati Temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. The temple itself is super impressive, with lots of cool carvings and symbols on the walls. When you go inside, you feel really calm and peaceful, like Ganpati's watching over you.
People come to Mahaganapati Temple to pray to Lord Ganpati and ask for his blessings. It's a really important place for them, and you can feel the love and devotion in the air.
Visiting Mahaganapati Temple isn't just about saying prayers; it's also about feeling connected to something special and taking a moment to think quietly. It's a place where you can find peace and feel close to Ganpati.

Malshej Ghat, situated on the route from Kalyan to Ahmednagar, is a picturesque mountain pass in the Western Ghats that offers breathtaking views of nature and an abundance of bird species. The road is only two lanes wide throughout with one carriage way each side, but it has excellent conditions for most parts. It features clearly marked viewpoints with ample parking space where visitors can take pictures and enjoy refreshments like maggie, lemon sharbat or tea.
A nice place with beautiful green green panoramic views and waterfalls.. A 2-3 hours drive from Mumbai will take you to this place..
During monsoon time it will be a more beautiful for sure.. A perfect weekend destination if you like to explore the places.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai.
Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan.
You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee.
To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash.
Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

Superb place. Amazing ghat road. No traffic like the Mumbai - Pune route. Travelled in Dec... this place would be heaven on earth in the rainy season. The roads have been great for most part.
There are 3 or 4 points where you can wait and take pictures. Clearly marked out, has some parking space and amazing views. You can get maggie / lemon sharbat / tea here. Before and after the ghat there are enough restaurants.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed.
Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

Shree Moreshwar temple is one among the Ashtavinayak Ganpati. Very Peaceful and Devine place to visit.
Darshan line is covered well & look is given as ancient, it's made of wood, so in hot season also it doesn't really bother to stay in line for some time. Darshan happens within half hour, nobody pushes you and make hurry to go ahead in queue.
There's nearby parking provision on paid basis. It's approximately 18 km from Jejuri, by road its hardly 20 minutes.

Shri Mayureshwar (or Moreshwar) Ganpati temple is one of the Ashtavinayakas (Eight sacred Ganapati temples) in Maharashtra. It is located in Morgaon Village in the Pune District of Maharashtra state. It is around 70 kilometers via Jejuri-Morgaon-Baramati Road and Saswad – Bopdev – Pune Road.
Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple is an important temple. It marks the beginning and end of the Ashtavinayak Yatra. It means that devotees should start the journey from Morgaon, and at the end, they need to visit the same place. The temple flourished during the rule of Peshwas, and it was blessed with the presence of Moraya Gosavi.
As mentioned before, Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple is located at a very convenient distance. Since the place is very well connected to Pune, which in turn connects to all major cities in India, therefore, you can easily reach there. The distance between Pune and Morgaon is 70 kilometres.
You have to pay for private parking without any bill or receipt. Also you can purchase Prasad and har at so many stores front of temple.
History Of Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple
There is a legend associated with the temple. It says that Bhagwan Ganesha was born to Parvati in the Treta Yuga in the caves of a place called Lenyadri. Bhagwan took the form of a fair Mayureshwar, who had six arms and was riding a peacock.
The young Ganesha was fond of climbing trees. One day, he accidentally knocked off an egg, from which a peacock emerged. Therefore, this Ganesha idol is seen riding a peacock. Therefore, he is called ‘Mayureshwar.’ After finishing the task of slaying the demon, Bhagwan Ganesh offered his Vahan peacock to his brother Bhagwan Kartikeya.
Morgaon Ganpati temple is in a picturesque location, and its architecture is also very impressive. Spread over a wide area, it offers a very beautiful view to the devotees.

It's a Hindu religious place from shree Ashtvinayak Ganpati. The temple area and nearby places are too good. If you're living in Pune then you can visit this place at any time it might require half of the day. I suggest you visit this temple if possible on weekdays to avoid crowd. I advise you to explore market of this area you will definitely found amazing metal idols of Hindu God. Even you can found amazing home decorative items but you should have to bargain with them properly because if you're not good in bargaining then they will definitely ask for more money.
The only thing I didn't like about this place was that they charge ₹50 for parking of our vehicle.
If you're staying there, there are lots of options available like Bhakatnivas of Mandir trust and even lots of hotels are there for lodging. I don't have any idea but charges of staying there.
You can also visit Jejuri which is about 17-18 far from it while going towards Pune.
The best season to visit is the end of the month of may and the starting month of June.
