This is a two tiered waterfall located in Simlipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The height is 1309 feet or 499m next only to Kunchikal and Vajrai Falls of India. The tallest single drop is 850 ft.
Budhabalanga River originates from the Barehipani Falls. The water of Barehipani Falls gushes out from a cliff. The entire course of the Barehipani Falls cascades right from the cliff to the pool is breathtaking.
Near Barehipani Falls, there are many tourist attractions like Joranda Falls & Simlipal Reserve forest.

Barehipani is India's 2nd highest and orissa's highest waterfall. The height of the waterfall is 1309 ft . The source of the waterfall is Budhabalanga River that flows over the mountain. It is a 2 tier water fall , which means the water falls in two drops.
The river Budhabalanga falls from the stiff heights of the Simlipal ranges to create these majestic falls 1200 foot (399 meters) high. Situated close to the Barehipani waterfalls is the Joranda falls.

Spectacular waterfalls. Takes a while to get there, on roads that aren't great, but the drive is worth it. Unfortunately one can only view the falls from far away, with no option to get to the top / bottom of the falls (which falls under the core area of similipal). There used to be accommodation here before, I wish it's reinstated!

Nestled in the verdant landscapes of Odisha's Mayurbhanj district, Barehipani Waterfall stands as a testament to nature's artistry. As the second tallest waterfall in India, it cascades down in two tiers, creating a breathtaking spectacle that is both awe-inspiring and serene.
**Location & Accessibility**
Barehipani's remote location within Simlipal National Park adds to its charm, offering a respite from the bustling city life. Access to the waterfall requires a pass, obtainable from Jashipur or Baripada. The journey through the forest to the waterfall is an adventure in itself, with the potential to spot wildlife along the way. However, visitors should be mindful of the park's inhabitants, including elephants, and adhere to guide instructions for a safe experience.
**Amenities & Facilities**
The amenities at Barehipani are basic yet sufficient, ensuring visitors can enjoy the natural beauty without distraction. There are designated picnic spots where one can relax and soak in the surroundings. While the visitor center provides essential information, the availability of restrooms and parking spaces adds convenience to the visit.
**Experience & Recommendation**
The waterfall is best viewed from the opposite hill, offering a panoramic view that is perfect for photography enthusiasts. Although the volume of water varies with the seasons, the monsoon transforms Barehipani into a mighty force, enhancing its majesty. The surrounding green valley, especially right of the parking area, is a haven of tranquility and an ideal spot for pre-wedding photoshoots.
Barehipani Waterfall is not just a natural wonder but also a cultural symbol, revered by the local communities. Its historical significance as a landmark within the national park and its contribution to the region's biodiversity make it a must-visit for those seeking to connect with nature.
In conclusion, Barehipani Waterfall is a destination that promises an enriching experience. Its natural beauty, coupled with the thrill of discovery and the calmness of its environs, makes it a highly recommended visit for travelers seeking solace and inspiration in nature's embrace. Whether you're an avid trekker, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply a lover of natural landscapes, Barehipani will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

I visited Sanaghagara Waterfall last weekend with my family and we had a wonderful time. The waterfall is located in a scenic forest area and the sound of the water is very soothing. The waterfall is not very high, but it is wide and has a lot of water. The water is clean and refreshing, and there is a pool at the bottom where you can swim or splash around. There are also some rocks and trees around the waterfall where you can sit and relax. The place is well maintained and has facilities like parking, toilets, changing rooms, and a small cafeteria. The entry fee is reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend Sanaghagara Waterfall to anyone who loves nature and wants to enjoy a peaceful and fun day out.

This is a great picnic spot, for kids, or adults. The place is well maintained, and the trail to the waterfall is full of lucrative views. You will go through big trees on both sides. There are kids playing areas separately created. Be aware of monkeys though. The monkeys are friendly and they don't attack unless you initiate a teasing. There is a big lake at the centre of the park where boating facilities are available. Parking is available inside the premises.
You will find delicious street food to savour your taste buds.

It's a sincere request to all the visitors, please do not throw your trash in the area. There are dustbins provided please use them.

It is a very lovely location with a lake, waterfall, garden, and park. This location is frequently popular for picnics and leisure pursuits.
Additionally, there are grocery stores on the campus.
It's a great place to spend time with loved ones and friends. This space can be divided into two halves. One area features a lake where you may go boating and a walking route surrounds the lake. The waterfall is another area, and getting there requires a short hike from the entrance.
Small children can play with see-saws, swings, slides, and other toys.
The fact that trash is being strewn around is a disadvantage. There is a lot of trash around the waterfall. We must keep it tidy and put the trash inside.

Latest update of Sanaghagara waterfall .
1 ⭐ rating please try to upgrade those areas. No toilet and bathroom facilities are there. The bathroom is locked. If you have urgent then you have to go outside in an open area. I complained about the toilet at the ticket counter and they told me that the motor is out of order so the contractor locked both bathrooms. There is a small museum about the forest and their living beings but it was also locked outside. People and children were watching outside the window. Very badly maintained place. But the ticket price is so high . You have to pay extra for the picnic cleaning spot to the local people when they are charging for the same cause in the ticket.
Please let people enjoy the place. And authority please sit from the bloody chair and do some work at the beautiful place.

Khandadhar Waterfall is a striking natural wonder created by the Korapani Nala stream, cascading 244m down a cliff. The descent to its base involves 950 steps and an altitude gain of around 550m, which takes approximately an hour with rest stops. The spring season offers delightful views of colorful foliage along the way, but during non-rainy periods, the amount of water is reduced.
This is a very nice and good place to visit. The waterfall is very nice and serene. You will enjoy the nature at its best. The only thing is to see the waterfall properly you have to climb closely 900 steps. So this is a bit difficult. But if you overcome this then you can enjoy the fruit of that hard-work. A best viewing waterfall.

Due to the vertical falling of water this water fall is known as Khandadhar. Its stunning natural environment encircled with mountain range at three directions mesmerizes visitors coming from all around of the state & abroad. This spot is at a distance of 50 km from Keonjhar town.

950 steps, around 550m altitude to the base of the water falls. It takes about an hour to reach and 20 minutes to return with sufficient rest in between. The view around the steps are good, specially during spring due to multiple colors of the leaves, however you will miss the quantum of water as because it’s not rainy season. However, I would recommend to have two bottles of liquid ORS to keep you hydrated and energized through your journey. Cheers!

Located 100 km from Keonjhar and 85 km from Rourkela, Khandadhar waterfall is definitely a treat to watch. In order to experience the fall properly, one needs to climb 650 steps. It's a beautiful place, as the name suggests, it's a Vatika (Garden) spreading almost an acre having Tallest Hanuman deity in India at 82 feet and many other temples of Lord Jagannath, Shree Ganesh ji, Lord Shiv ji and Goddesses. Few of these temples are having beautiful stone carved pillars. All temples are having big verandahs to offer prayers and also have few cottages for doing Hindu rituals, sacred thread ceremonies, Mundan, Marriage etc. The complex has refreshment areas, shops besides entertainment complex for the kids. Lord hanuman big statue is the main attraction of this place. I visited in night with my sisters. They liked the ambience. The complex is very big and full of greenery. Outside the complex has eateries and artificial jewellery and stationary items. We offered prayers and clicked many pictures. It was truly a Peaceful and calm atmosphere.

Tranquility Amidst Divine Abode: A Review of Vedvyas Temple Complex
Nestled along the serene banks of the Brahmani River in Rourkela, the Vedvyas Temple Complex stands as a testament to spiritual devotion and architectural splendor. As a devout traveler seeking solace and cultural enrichment, my visit to this sacred site left an indelible impression.
Upon entering the temple complex, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of the river's gentle flow, creating an ambiance of tranquility that instantly put me at ease. The strategic location of the temple offers a breathtaking view of the Brahmani River, making it a perfect spot for reflection and meditation.
The architectural marvels within the complex are a sight to behold. Dedicated to various Hindu deities, each temple exudes a unique charm and spiritual aura. From the towering spires of Lord Shiva's abode to the intricate carvings adorning the walls of the Goddess Durga temple, every structure is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of India.
One of the highlights of my visit was the main temple dedicated to Vedvyas, the revered sage who is believed to have compiled the ancient Hindu scriptures, including the epic Mahabharata. The sanctum sanctorum exuded a sense of reverence, drawing devotees from far and wide to seek blessings and wisdom.
The temple complex is not just a place of worship but also a center for cultural activities and community gatherings. Throughout the year, various festivals and rituals are celebrated with great fervor, offering visitors a glimpse into the vibrant tapestry of Hindu traditions.
The serene surroundings, coupled with the divine atmosphere of the temple complex, make it an ideal destination for spiritual seekers and tourists alike. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a cultural excursion, Vedvyas Temple Complex promises an enriching experience that will linger in your heart long after you've left its hallowed grounds.
In conclusion, my visit to Vedvyas Temple Complex was nothing short of awe-inspiring. From its picturesque location to its majestic architecture and spiritual ambiance, every aspect of this sacred site resonated with a sense of divinity and grace. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking solace, enlightenment, and a deeper connection with the divine.

Named after the great sage Vedvyas - the man behind the composition of the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Vedvyas Temple in Rourkela is located near to the confluence of Koel, Shankha, and Saraswati Rivers that all together form Brahmani River. Since the temple is remarked as highly religious, every year, thousands of pilgrims flock to this place to solemnize thread ceremonies, marriages, and other rituals. Rituals of last rites are also performed on the banks of the river. Apart from all this, the temple witnesses a large gathering of devotees on the day of Shivaratri. During this time, a 10-14 days long fete is also organized at this Hindu religious site in Rourkela. As per the beliefs, there is a cave on the riverbank, referred to as Vyasa Cave, which is said to be the place where the sage Vedvyas wrote Mahabharata. However, due to the soil erosion, the cave is not accessible now. The stories also say that there was also an underground tunnel in between the cave and the river where sage Vedvyas used to pay homage to the god without getting in the notice of anyone.

Gudguda Waterfall is a beautiful three-step waterfall located about 30 km from Kuchinda in the Sambalpur district of Odisha, India. It is a popular picnic spot among locals, but not yet well-known to tourists. The waterfall is surrounded by dense forest, and the water is crystal clear. There are two tube wells available for drinking water and picnic purposes, as well as cemented flat barandas for seating.
The best time to visit Gudguda Waterfall is during the winter and summer months, as the rainy season can make the path to the waterfall slippery and dangerous. The entry fee for four-wheelers and persons is Rs.100 and Rs. 5rs respectively.

This is one of the best places you can visit if you're in sambalpur. The temple is full of calmness. The goddess is called ghanteswari( the goddess of bells). According to popular beliefs if you offers bells to the goddess as prayer then whatever your wish will come true. The road to this place is so beautiful, you'll have to travel inside the forest area. There is a hydro power project nearby which is also a great place to spend some time. You can see the view of the majestic Mahanadi river from here.

A most beautiful & sacred place in sambalpur & also well maintained. You can feel the real beauty of that place after a small drizzle. The main attractive vibe is a walk in that corridor. But during heavy rain , water over flew through it. & Beware of monkeys; they always made jam the corridor.& As the temple name is 'ghanteswari', you can see a thousand of bells hanging on the wall of temples for their wish. A lot of shop including Puja items, drink, tiffin etc., You can see their.

This Ghanteshwari Mandir is known as "Wish Completing" Mandir.
People are coming to ask - wish something from Maa Ganteshwari or to complete the process - Tie the Ghanta in this Mandir after completing or receiving what they asked.
One can reach this location from Dam road which needs almost 1 km walk on walkway build on Dams' backwater? There is other way too, vehicle can reach very close to Mandir.
This 2nd option I liked because it's is fully surrounded by rice farms - it was a pleasant journey.
I found very little food options at the location.
I visited here in last week of October 2023.

We stayed at Hareli Eco Resort, Mohda,

All the rooms are elevated in machaan style with cosy interiors.
This is an eco friendly resort which completely runs on solar energy.
You won't get any mobile network here, again its the best for social fasting but please be prepared for emergencies.
You can order Food from their canteen but the cost is a bit at the higher side (also not much food options available outside).
Check post for Jungle Safari is only half kilometer ahead (Timings: 6 to 8 AM, 8 to 10 AM & 3 to 5 PM).

There are checkposts for entering in the sanctuary

For safari they charge around 1700-1800 for vehicle and entry fee. Polythene packages are not allowed. It's better to go for safari during evening slots.
Food is good charged Rs200 per meal and advance intimation is required.

Sirpur is amongst the place of temples and it has ancient temples. This Lakshman Mandir is among the ancient temples of India and is situated on the Lord Ram Van Gaman Path the way which was used by Bhagwan Ram, Mata Sita aur Lakshman ji and the architecture is excellent. It also has 3 musium just behind the temple and all have lots of old idols, shiv lings and other pillars found in archeological surveys. The ticket is Rs. 20 for both the places and one can buy it on the counter or by scanning the bar code available near the counter. There is a big garden here to enjoy nature and get relaxed. Very spacious premise having the historical temple, a small museum and large gardens with good arrangements to sit and soak the beauty. All the incarnation of lord Vishnu are made on the sides of the entry gate. Four of these are in good shape. On the top of the door you can notice the lord laying on Sheshnag.
Not many food or eatry options so either bring something along or have it on the way to Sirpur. The place would take 30 to 60 mins.

Dating back to 625-650 AD, the Laxman Temple in Sirpur chattisgarh is one of the most famous structures in the city. It is believed to be one of the best examples of brick temples in India and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The intricate carvings on the exterior of the temple make it special. These designs include Lord Vishnu, Krishna Leela symbols, Vaishnava Dwarpal, and pictures bearing resemblance to the famous erotic work as in the Khajuraho Temple. The mandapa which originally bore stone pillars is now in ruins. The archaeological remains in and around Sirpur consists of both Hindu and Buddhist monuments in the form of temples and monasteries. Among them, the most well preserved magnificent temple is the east facing Lakshmana temple built by Vasata, the mother of Mahasivagupta Balarjuna in 7th century AD.
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this brick temple stands on a high massive platform accessible by steps in the north and the south. The plan of the temple consists of a garbagriha, antarala and a mandapa. The mandapa now in ruins was originally upheld by stone pillars in rows. The exquisitely carved doorframe depicts figures of Seshasayi Vishnu along with his other incarnations. This temple is one among the best examples of brick temples of ancient India.
It’s only and only one bricks carving temple in India. Amazing and wonderful. Worth visiting place.

Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur
The Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur is the fourth-largest cricket stadium worldwide and third-largest in India, boasting a seating capacity of around 65,000. It was inaugurated in 2008 and hosted its first match in 2010 featuring Canada national cricket team against Chhattisgarh state team. The stadium serves as Delhi Daredevils' second home venue for IPL matches since 2013.
This is back water kind off... Best place to visit cheaper and best place for sunset...

It is the third largest cricket stadium in india and fourth-largest cricket stadium in the world. The stadium has a seating capacity of 65,000 approx. Inaugurated in 2008, this ground hosted its first ever match in 2010, when the Canada national cricket team arrived in India and played a practice match against the Chhattisgarh state team. In 2013, the stadium was declared as a second home venue for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has since hosted many of the team's matches.
The stadium is named after Veer Narayan Singh Binjhwar a landlord Sonakhan who spearheaded the 1857 war Indian independence in Chhattisgarh.

Though the stadium is good but the management is extremely poor.
1) Even though there are lot of open spaces available near the stadium, the parking was 2 kms before the stadium. It's foolish on management part to expect people to walk soo far.
2) Many seats were broken which should have been repaired before match.
3) Passes or tickets were not issues as per the available seats. People were standing because of lack of seats.
4) Management part was very poor, people were standing and blocking the view of those who were sitting.
5) Those who were selling water bottles, cold drinks and food items had no regulations. A water bottle costed 70/- , 150ml cold drink 60/- and fried rice costed 150/- . As no bills were issued so couldn't even take any legal action.
I feel BCCI, being the richest cricket board in the world can surely look into the matter.

Nice stadium..parking arrangement is sometimes irritating.
1 Big Screen not working, dirty seats(not even run a blower for big matches even)
Great lazer show witnessed last time n road safety series
Looting ppl for food n drinks a glass of cool drink for 100 rs water bottle @70 snacks@ 150 , poor management.
So many ppl were standing lack of seats and blocked the view of others..BCCI should look into this

Omkar Shenwai — Google review
Currently the 3rd biggest stadium in the entire country, this stadium has an excellent pitch and boundary dimensions for hosting all sorts of international matches. But it has been blatantly ignored by the BCCI.
The state govt hasn't been able to keep it well maintained. The seats are old and broken. There's no proper parking space plus the entry points are also not well curated.
Could have been a great venue for some thriller matches.

Very own International cricket stadium of Chhattisgarh, situated in outskirts of Raipur. It is just few kms away from airport. It is the second biggest stadium of India and has 12 entry gates. As per our Indian team review this stadium can be compared with Melbourne. Also pitch is very suitable to play.

A few days ago I saw the match for the first time in the stadium, it was the final match of the Road Safety World Series. The match was between India and Sri Lanka. India won the match. The stadium is also nice and big, I really enjoyed watching the match. My experience here was very good, there was a parking arrangement too, the police of Chhattisgarh had made all the security arrangements.
In the end all I want to say is,

Shree Rajiv Lochan Temple
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
The Rajiv Lochan Temple is a stunning representation of Hindu culture, exuding an atmosphere of tranquility. The temple premises house various other temples, and visitors have the option to stay in Rajim and avail food facilities. The administration is dedicated to enhancing the overall development of the temple, which is commendable. Amenities such as washrooms and parking are conveniently available, while roadside food stalls offer nourishment.
Well Maintained Temple.
People can enjoy great family time and have fun in shallow waters.
Laxman Bridge is also opened now. A great addition for tourist.

I visited this place with family few days before shivratri when Puni Fare was running. Very crowded place. It's a Vishnu temple with multiple mini temples inside.
After parking your vehicle you need to walk around 500 MTR to go to this temple. After this you can visit Kuleshwar Mahadev temple that is in between the sangam. Around 4.5 kms walk from Rajeev lochan temple.

History. There are two stone inscriptions, one of Vilasatunga of Nala dynasty and the other of Kalachuri feudatory ruler Jagapaladeva dated to 1145 AD. fixed on the mandapa wall. The Kalachuri inscriotion refers to the construction of a Rama temple at Rajim and donation of village Salmaliya by the feudal ruler Jagapaladeva for the temple.
According to the Nala inscription king Vilasatunga had constructed a magnificent and splendid temple at Rajim in honour of his deceased son, so that his immortal deeds can be remember. The inscription is Paleographically assigned to C. 700 - 725 AD.
Details: This west facing brick built edifice dedicated to lord Vishnu known as ' Rajiv Lochana' is placed at the centre of a large panchayatana temple complex on a high platform is approachable through two flight of steps from the north and south side. The pillared mandapa is an unique architectural manifestation of the time where life size images of Narasimha, Varaha, Ganga, Yamuna, Durga, Vaishnavi, Rama, axmana are carved on pillar faces.
Other important temples within the precinct are Rajeswar temple, Daneswar temple, Jagannath temple and temple dedicated to Rajim Telin Bhakti Mata besides the Naraha templ. Marasina temple Bedtinath temple and Vamana terrile athe TOu cores of the courtyard.

The beautiful display of our Hindu culture, in the colour of peace. There are lots of other temples too in the campus. (Note: Staying and food facilities available in Rajim if visitors want to stay.). Administration is looking into the development which is quite nice and appreciable. Facilities like washroom and parking is there, food stalls are there at the side of road. One can go by own vehicle or by bus ( till the rajim entry gate, from there visitors have to walk or book a auto). Nice and clean venue, and it literally feels like a religious place which is very nice experience but the Prasad system has affected by corporate effect. Campus opens into the Lakshman Jhoola bridge.

Very ancient temple and should be your go to list when visiting Raipur / Chhattisgarh. Lots of history inside the temple and great architecture. Must read about this temple history on the internet before actually visiting it.
Alok Agrawal — Google review
I don't have any other option otherwise I would give 100 stars not five for this temple I found the foundation date of this temple more attractive. It is very difficult to describe this temple in my own words because this temple should have been more famous for its carvings, take care of this temple, I did not like it much. This is an important inscription of the Kalachuri period. Its purpose is to announce the construction of Ram temple in Rajim by Panchhans Kulranjak Rajmal Kulamaltilak Jagpal Dev and the donation of Shalmalia village for God's offering. The article is in Sanskrit language and Devanagari script. It begins with 'Om Namo Narayanaya' and its date is Wednesday on the Sthastami day of Magha month Shukla Paksha of Kalachuri Samvat 896. Samant Jagpal Dev, subordinate to the Kalchuri kings of Kosala, was the master of exemplary self-qualities. Along with being a promoter of true religion, ethical, great warrior, he was the one who provided the fruits of religion, meaning and work to his subjects. He made remarkable achievements in the territorial expansion of Kalchuri Empire by conquering Vivar Bhumi, Bihara Desh, Dandor, Komomandal, Tamnar, Rath Teran, Talhari Mandal, Sarharagad, Mechka-Sihawa, Bhramardesh Kantar, Kusum Bhog, Kanda Dongar, Kakray etc.

Nandanvan Jungle Safari in Nava Raipur is a manmade sanctuary and zoo offering safari-style tours through open areas with deer, lions, tigers, and bears. The safari bus is fully covered and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable experience for visitors. There's also an option for non-AC buses. The park features a variety of creatures in the zoo area as well. Visitors can enjoy waiting in the hall or spending time at the snacks store while exploring the wildlife closely.
If you are from Chhattisgarh or have come to visit Chhattisgarh from outside, then you must go to Jungle Safari. The fun of traveling with family, with children or with friends is different, in today's hectic life, there is nothing better than this to see wildlife so closely,When you are locked in a cage and the wild animal is roaming in the open forest near you, this moment fills you with excitement. You get to see a lot of birds and animals in the jungle safari zoo too.

I have visited on 26.11.2023. Very unsatisfied with the service as the all the safari had not been visited by the crew as they have said they are closed and the entire tour ended within 30-40 minues. First of all there is no cordination for the safari bus and zoo bus. and after there is no person who can give clear view when bus is coming no help. For the zoo site the condition is worst old people and kids have to go by walking and it is too far from main gate to reach zoo. At least Authorities have to make the arrangements have been made. It is for the VVIP persons. Ohter persons have to face it. I am not very much satisfied with jungle safari.

Definitely Recommended !
Only Monday it's closed
Rest it's very good to be here (I don't know why they don't run AC buses)
You can see every Animal in Safari

This is a planned Jungle Safari along with a zoo located in Naya Raipur. Earlier the zoo was located in Old City and with the expansion of this zoo, more and more animals are being relocated here. Presently White Tiger, RBT, Asiatic Lion, Leopard, Spotted Dear, Blue Bull, Black buck, Crocodile, Hippo, Otter etc are there. Cage for snakes, Porcupine and various birds are under construction. Overall a good number of animals are there. Inside the zoo, there is a kids park with a canteen nearby where one can get chips, cold drinks, maggi, bread pakoda etc. One can also take hoom cooked food or food which are not wrapped in polythene.
Alongside is located a jungle safari where one can spot wild animals and dears if visit during morning hours or during evening time. During mid-day spotting them may be a challenge.
Entry fee for adults is Rs.50/- for zoo and Rs.100/- for safari. Parking is also available and for four wheelers they charge Rs 50/-.
Overall a good fun place for family and kids.

The Jungle Safari in Nava Raipur is so amazing. Its a place you must visit if you happen to be in Raipur.
It is less than an hour from Raipur, but still you feel in a totally different world surrounded by Nature. You will be thrilled to watch a variety of wild life in the natural habitat. The entire place is well maintained. And I particularly liked the tour guide who was knowledgeable and passionate about conservation of wild life.
Kids and adult both loved the place.

It's worth the money.
It ia a man made sanctuary and zoo just in the corner of nava-raipur. It's an zoo-cum-safari. We booked zoo+safari. Didn't cost us much. There is a waiting hall where you can wait for your turn to come. There is a snacks store to spend time. It's worth the time and money. The safari bus is fully covered and air-conditioned. You can get non-ac bus also. And we're lucky enough to see tiger and lion closely
And lastly the zoo has many type of creatures. If you want, you can go.
FINAL VERDICT:
1. Safari is must.
2. Zoo is optional.

Viewing of animals in jungle safari was too good. Never before seen animals from so near distance but vehicle service was poorest. We find only 2 bus was running for the safari and people there were more than 150 and at a time only 18-20 peoples per bus for a round of 40 mins. So waited long time to board the bus i.e more than 2 hrs.
Manab Sarkar — Google review
Great experience might be the best if the vicinity of the animals are maintained more and some cages are empty but there are no notice about it you have to spend so much time to find out that those are empty cells.

Good place to explore the wildlife with family and friends. There are two options, you can take the jungle safari or visit the zoo or you can take both. We couldn't make it to jungle safari, for that make sure to book tickets earlier from counter or you can book online. They still need some improvement inside the jungle for animals and visitors perspective.👍🏻🫡

Safari costs ₹100/ticket and takes almost 30 mins. You can easily spot 🐻 🦌and 🦁and 🐅🐯 if you are lucky.
Zoo costs ₹50/ticket and you can easily spot White Tiger, Lion, Tiger, Deers, Rhino 🦏 , python etc in captivity. Takes 2.5 hours to fully explore.
Zoo also has canteen and children's park.
Rishabh Shukla — Google review
The place is good but completely unmanaged and unorganized, especially the safari. In spite of booking online tickets for 1 pm safari, they provide tokens and keep you waiting for hours. There are no vehicles running to keep the crowd organized. AC vehicles are non functional, and no drivers are available. It's just the greenery and zoo which can be enjoyed a bit.

One of the better malls in Raipur city even though comparatively smaller, Magneto has a decent collection of stores. The main attraction of this mall is the beautiful decoration they put in place for special occasions (must visit). The only place where it could do better is in the Eateries. It does have several, but some of them are in separate sections of the mall. So, there's no food court as such wherein you can choose from multiple options, instead, you'll first have to explore the mall and then choose where you want to eat!

Though this mall is comparatively small compared to other ones yet it’s location makes it a perfect mall.
It is the nearest mall from airport and it is a great place for shopping & food.
There is not much things to do inside but it is fairly crowded during odd hours.
Parking is available and it can be seen from the main road.

City Centre mall underwent a significant transformation, rejuvenating both its exterior and interiors. Apart from PVR cinemas and pantaloons there isn't really anything exciting here right now. The absence of noteworthy restaurants and shops inside impacts its overall appeal. Despite the aesthetic improvements, the overall experience is lacking due to the limited options for dining and shopping. I hope it's improved in the near future as it used to be one of the best places to visit at the heart of the city.

Nonetheless, a must-visit spot for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a serene escape.

This sanctuary is the abode of about 36 species of reptiles belonging to 2 natural orders and 11 families out of which about 6 species are of endangered status namely Indian Rock Python, Dhaman, Indian Cobra, Russel's Viper, Checkered Keelback and Common Monitor.
The Gond kings once ruled these forests in the vicinity of the Bhandara. In 1970, 116.54 km2 (45.00 sq mi) was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary. In 2012, state government announced to merge this sanctuary with another national park to include in Saving tiger project
It is an important conservation unit in Central India in general and Vidarbha in particular. It acts a "Green-lung" for the adjoining human settlements and helps in maintaining the environmental balance.

Our trip to Nagzira in March 2020 turned out better than expected. We saw wild dogs (dhols), a female leopard, langur, spotted deer, sambar deer, nilgai, peacocks, gaur, wild boar, owl in the space of three safaris. The Central Indian jungle gives a serene feeling and it was very soothing to experience nature and wildlife from an open Jeep. Our driver and guide were friendly and knew the forest well though we had to often poke them to tell us few things. We stayed at FDCM Nagzira resort and it was quite a unique experience to stay inside the core zone of a tiger reserve.
Few people saw a leopard couple at the resort restaurant at night and there are almost always deer and langurs very close to the restaurant.

Pench Tiger Reserve, nestled in the heart of India, is a mesmerizing destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Spanning over 758 sq km across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, this reserve is named after the Pench River, which meanders through the park. Inspired by its stunning wilderness, Rudyard Kipling immortalized Pench in 'The Jungle Book', making it a place of global literary significance.
The reserve's biodiversity is its most compelling feature. Home to a significant population of majestic Royal Bengal tigers, Pench offers a high probability of tiger sightings.
Safaris in Pench are well-organized, with knowledgeable guides adding immense value to the wildlife experience. The thrill of encountering a tiger in its natural habitat is unparalleled and the heart of the Pench experience. However, it's not just about tigers; the park's overall ecosystem is a testament to successful conservation efforts. becoz we were not able to view the tigers so closely except Laxmi from far
In summary, Pench Tiger Reserve offers a quintessential Indian wildlife experience. Its rich biodiversity, high chance of tiger sightings, and captivating landscapes make it a standout destination. While there are conservation challenges, the reserve's commitment to protecting its diverse inhabitants is evident, making a visit here both exhilarating and enlightening.

Wonderful experience for kids and adults alike. Had some real good sightings of Tiger, Leopard, Deer, and Birds. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. It does get hot pretty soon though, so make sure you start early, around 5 15 or 5 30 from your resorts. From 6 AM to 9 AM, you should get some real good sightings time. Post that, afternoon safaris will get real hot, but greater chances of really good sightings. April to May is the prime season for sightings as well because the heat makes the animals wander out for water. will definitely come back here next year.

Been here twice. Sightings are good. Plenty of Tigers and leopards around.
All the guides and drivers are good. The forest officials take care of the park well.
The park is not very big compared to some of the other forest reserves in the country but it is nice. Teak trees primarily in the jungle. The safari pathways are well laid out and not very bumpy.
There are a few separate entries to the park but i have always taken the Turia gate entry. The park opens at exact time after proper verification.
It is about one and half hours drive from tbe Nagpur airport with enough stay options available.
Booking your safari in advance is advised.

Although we didn't see the tiger but the experience at Pench National park was itched in our memory for life. Pench National park is well managed and has lot of attractions. Sillari gate is more popular for tiger sighting. Kolitmara gate has Safari and Agro tourism which is worth a visit. Safari in a well maintained and undisturbed jungle is very wonderful experience

It's a nice place far from the city crowd. If you're a nature Lover you'll love this place. There are 2 kinds of Safari night and day. I've done both. Animal sighting is more prominent in the day but experience in the jungle at night is something else.✨

Most have heard of the park and would have done enough research before visiting . DO NOT come with the expectation of seeing a tiger on safari . That needs a lot of luck . You could see deer . And when they take u to core sector , remember u r only allowed in 15 % or less of the core sector . It's the safari people job to say sighting done yesterday and full chance , but it's all on your luck .

Very good experience at Pench. We entered through the Khursapar gate in Maharashtra for the safari. The safari Gypsy vehicle will even pick you from nearby resorts on additional payment. Make sure to book entry tickets in advance

It was a good experience, spotting tigers and a leopard on our initial safari was fortunate. For those less keen on animals, one visit with two safaris should be enough, especially if you're lucky enough to see tigers and leopards.
The experience could have been better further with a wider variety of animals to encounter.

One of the best national parks IMHO ... Multiple gates for safari. One can book stay n safari together. 4 safaris minimum are recommended. Turia gate experience was best. Very punctual, good coordinated execution. Driver n guide are knowledgeable. Chances of spotting a tiger or leopard are high here. Ample birds n other animals can b spotted easily. A good jungle experience I would say.

Shri Ram Temple & Fort

We planned this as a half day trip from Nagpur. 1.5 hours each way, 1-1.5 hours to visit the fort, temple, Kalidasa memorial etc., and if one wants to make a stop for breakfast/lunch (we stopped at MKHS plaza on the highway) - altogether 5-5.5 hours should be sufficient. A Swift Dzire rented car charged Rs.3,000.
This was somewhat a hurriedly planned trip, and hence, did not have the opportunity to research. Still, I felt there’s not much information available either on the government tourism websites or open internet. All I got to find out that this houses a place for Agastya-muni ashram, near which Lord Rama with his family came and stayed for some time during their exile. The present day temple was built by Nagpur’s Maratha ruler Raghuji Bhosale in 18th century… I assumed that the fort was probably built by Marathas also.
I didn’t see any signage of ASI etc, and I hope the fort and temple is preserved, documented from archeological perspective as well, if not already being done.
The fort and temple are easily accessible with not more than 50 steps all combined, I guess. The temples are very we maintained and clean. The view of Ramtek city from the top of the temple walls are breathtaking.
One should be careful about monkeys.
Restrooms are not in best of the shapes, and can certainly be improved for convenience of visitors.
Overall, very good experience as a half-day trip from Nagpur.
Rajarshi Saha — Google review
The place is ok for a one day visit. The temple is very old and has immense historical importance. There are a plenty of hawkers and monkeys prevalent around the temple area so be careful with your belongings. The views from the place is good.

Divine vibes. The architecture is astonishing. More crowded on weekends as compared to weekdays. The view of the surrounding area from the temple is mesmerizing.

A place full of nature an incredibly empowering place because of Lord Shri Ram Mandir it's just makes us feel who you are...
It's a perfect destination for weekend with family must vist place near by nagpur city.

This Gadh Mandir is situated at Ram Tekadi ( Ram Hill ) in Ratek.. A very big temple of Lord Ram is here...Its a bhonsle dynasty temple architecture is very big & beautiful...Some renovation work is going on my last visit.. Ram Navami & Tipur Pornima are big festivals are celebrated here You may visit if you want to visit a temple as this is the most famous temple around Nagpur. By road, it takes around 90 mins to reach from Nagpur. After reaching, you may park at the base of the mountain and take the hundreds of steps to the temple, or you may drive to the top and then you would just need to climb around 25 to 30 steps that come after intervals.
The temple compound is clean, but devoid of maintenance. Old structures could have been maintained better.
The temple area is supposed to be full of monkeys, but fortunately we didnt see more than one troupe of 5-6 monkeys. These monkeys are know to snatch things from your hand, hoping to find food. It is advised that you do not carry any purse or mobile phone or any bag while visiting the temple.

Nice place to visit n weekend, so also, experience trekking, if u r planning to visit this place by climbing d mountain whereupon same is situated, either by 'Choti Payri' or 'Mothi Payri', i.e., Small or Big Steps/ Stairway.
Personally, hv njoyed climbing, via, Choti Payri during rainy season & winter season.
Reasonably well maintained stairway, but, at d same time Temple is n dilapidated condition.
U may visit d temple by vehicle too.
No charges of whatsoever nature required to be paid.
Beware of monkeys.
Karhandla Gate, located in the Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, offers morning and afternoon safaris for wildlife enthusiasts. Best time to.visit this jungle is in the summer season.

Today we had morning safari here. The morning safari starts at 5.30 am. Weather was beautiful. The jungle was more beautiful. Nice place to visit every quarter for jungle lovers. Sighted the tigeress but since all 18 gypsies started running and due noice of all the visitors couldn't get the photos since she ran away in deep forest.
All facilities are available at this gate which includes parking, was rooms, tea and breakfast points and lunch also.
Loved this place...

Very nice place to spot tigers. Karhandla gate is closest to Nagpur City (approx 55km) and can be reached within an hour from Nagpur City. The gypsy drivers and Guides are very good and they try their best each time to spot a tiger for the visitors. There are resorts nearby this gate as well to stay.

The jungle safari experience is kind of ok. This scantuary has less number of animals as compared to other nations parks.
We went during rainy season so even sighting a deer was a difficult task. We didn't even see any peacocks or any other birds. Only thing we saw in safari was few monkeys and butterflies.
Overall experience of green jungle was good.

A good jungle safari with family. Good jeep with good driver and guide. Didn't sight the Tiger but sighted Bison, deer, Sambar, Peacock, Rabit, monkey. 3.5 hours of safari. Two timings to do Safari. 1) morning 6-8am entry and exit by 10.30am.2) afternoon 3-5pm entry and exit by 6.30pm. This time is for winters and the entry time in summer is early in morning while exit is late in evening.

The sanctuary is 189 sq km. It has 10-11 Tigers. And some bears. I visited this place on 14th February. I didn't get to see tiger.
Only saw 2,3 deers. 2 peacock, 3 pigs, 1 owl, and neel cow. (bison in English I think).
So, ultimately it was totally not amusing much. Its so dusty. You will find tons of brown dust all over you. You cannot escape that. You have to take bath as soon as possible.
People did found a mother and 4 tigers of 3 months on 10th February. Also on 13th February they found 2 tigers near border. Don't know how true was that. Because I didn't get to see any animals inside the jungle in whole 4 hours of safari. No elephants here. And just monkey's. No rabbits. No dogs. No snakes.
Long-established national park known for its dense woodlands, diverse flora & Bengal tiger reserve.
Tadoba is one of my favorite Tiger Reserve park 🐅
Only one feedback I have is the forest department shall allow carrying mobile phones during Safari. All other National parks across India phones are allowed, not sure why it's not permitted here.
My personal request to change guidelines and allow us to carry phones in Safari.
Thanks

It’s really very nice experience , chances of getting tigers are really high . Our Guide was really good , we followed his instructions and we got the very good sight of tiger.. Tigress Maya with her two cubs , Tigress chotti Madhu… , Cubs of tigress W .
Better you carry some food stuff like fruits and chips chikki type things and water if you have kids with you…bcoz a single safari is of 4 hrs and kids really get hungry…
Carry warm clothes apart from scarf , sunglasses , binoculars etc for morning safari in winter (January and February both months )

Tadoba the place is well known for its tiger reserve. It is home to more than 115 tigers, 151 leopards and more than 300 species of other wildlife. I went with my friends and booked 2 rooms in resort. The staying cost was around 2200 per person just for 1 night inclusive of lunch, snacks, dinner and next day breakfast. We booked buffer safari costing around 5000 and core safari cost more than 9000 depends upon the season and the availability as the waiting time for core safari was more than 2 months. We were lucky enough to saw the tiger. The tiger name is choti Madhu and she is the most beautiful tiger in tadoba as told by safari ranger.

What a beautiful place. This is absolute thrilling experience. It's a dense forest area. Full of Deers, sambars, Peacocks, and offcourse King tiger 🐅. We went for early morning safari in core zone.
Total safari costed us Rs7250. This includes Private Gypsy for 4 hours with capacity of 6 tourist, Driver and Guide charges. Also camera charges. One of the things you should remember that MOBILE PHONES are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside Jungle area. So one compulsory needs to carry Camera for photography.
We explored Jungle. It was very scenic and full of wild creatures. There were many water bodies inside Jungle with crocodiles 🐊.
Finally after long exploration we got our reward. Our guide got information that there is a Tiger spotting in nearby Lake.
So we hurried there. But when we went there tigress was sleeping inside bush. So we along with many other Tourist waited for almost 45 minutes at same spot. Finally the moment came and Tigress gracefully walked out of bush and came out in open water. In few minutes her 8 month old CUBS also came out in playfull mood. That was some experience.
After almost 45 minutes we started our exit journey.
I must say I'll definitely keep coming back to this wild paradise. There are many hotel options around. Also it is recommended to book safari atleast 4 month before your visit.

If you love exploring and experiencing wildlife, this place has to make it to the top of your bucket list. I took four safaris out of which we had a sighting on three of them. While the tiger is the usp, there are many many more animals and birds that you will get to see here. The climate is very very hot and if you really want to enjoy and make the best of your time, it is advisable to wear covered cotton clothing at all times, tied hair and head covered and carrying water bottles is a must

A dense forest reserve located near the chandrapur mines.
You can take your vehicle(4 wheelers only) inside but you are not allowed to step outside your vehicle when you are inside forest parameter and you also can't stop your vehicle anywhere on the road.
Best time is to visit in the evening when animals step outside for a walk.

We got lucky to see 3 tigers in a single morning safari ride. Awesome experience. Few notes for visitors
1. Resorts are expensive
2.Mobiles are not allowed inside the park, so don't forget to bring a DSLR camera or you can rent at the park.

Good experience. Safari is managed well and need to be booked well in advance from official website. Road till core moharli gate is in good condition. Souvenir shops are available where we can get different product including camera on rent.
Mobile phones are not allowed inside.
Best time to visit for sighting is summer.
Ample of stay options available but felt little costly.
Tiger sighting depends on luck but i got to see tigress maya bathing and killing smabar while we were just about to leave

One of the best national parks to spot tigers, we spotted 2 tigers Charger and Heena through the Shreekheda gate. It was mating season and 4 tigers were we easy to spot in that zone.
The charger tiger actually charges towards the gipsys.
Tadoba national park doesn’t allow mobile phones for some reason. Cameras are allowed and even can be rented at the gate.
Prebook the safaris earlier as they get sold out soon.

A must visit Tiger Reserve.
Forest is very dense and gives you the jungle feel.
Ensure to have 2-3 safaris booked before hand.
