Beautiful temple.
So the temple is no doubt pretty, however it is not big enough to be an attraction. If you are a local, here to pray or if you're within travel distance...
Do come.
Not for tourists (not worth the travel expenses and effort) but for locals within travel distance, why not?
Literally all the main sites I think are in my pictures.

Taking a leisurely stroll in a nearby park or botanical garden adorned with festive Lunar New Year decorations could be a wonderful family activity for the elderly during the holiday. It provides an opportunity for gentle exercise, fresh air, and soaking in the joyful atmosphere. Plus, it's a great way to bond and create lasting memories together.

Found out about this place thru FB. Was very surprised at how strict the covid19 SOPs were and how clean and organized the entire place is. All the set ups and structures are very well maintained and lights up beautifully at night. Worth the visit.

Great place to visit with your family during Chinese new year period. Can feel the CNY environment with yearly theme decoration according to the Chinese Zodiac. If not rush, visit during evening will be better hence you can take beautiful decorations in night views.
For food definitely overpriced, assume you are doing donation then u will feel better.

A must-visit during Chinese New Year! The upgraded flooring has made it much more accessible for wheelchair users, and they even provide wheelchairs for visitors. Additionally, the food offerings have improved greatly from last year.
Just be prepared for traffic jams when heading there.

Been coming here over the years and can see the foundation really runs the place well. The exhibits especially the night lighting decorations get better and better each year. Even carpark which used to be a problem is less so. I remember we used to need to park between some palm trees years ago! Of course you can expect a crowd especially during Chinese New Year but it is all managed in an orderly manner. No entry fee but you are free to donate to the cause.

Visit here this year during Chinese New Year. Plenty of flower and LED decoration in this temple especially this Dragon year. Crowded with visitor coming from all around Malaysia. Nice to bring family or couple to come visit and take photo here.

It’s my first time here and this place is so beautiful! They poured in so much effort to decorate the place for CNY. They also put a lot of effort into organising the charity meal stalls and art gallery. Am impressed by the calligraphy art. This place is worth a visit. Very well done! 👍🏻👏🏻

i-City's SnoWalk is an indoor winter-themed attraction with a controlled climate and ice sculptures. To save money, visitors are advised to purchase tickets in advance through the website. With only one open space featuring a slide, it may not be worth paying full price for admission. Visitors with children should bring extra socks, gloves, heat packs, and snow caps to keep them warm as sudden drops in temperature have caused some children to cry during their visit.
It is a very nice place and a good experience to bring your family here. Winter jackets and shoes are provided but you need to buy the gloves if you need. Recommended that you bring the good winter gloves because the one that they sell here is cheap so won't help much to prevent your kids from getting cold.
Entry fees for 3 adults & 2 kids is about rm330 including 2 pairs of gloves for my kids.
Locker is provided to keep your shoes while you are here.
sharil miza — Google review
Always plan ahead. Get your ticket via website for cheaper price. Currently there's only 1 open space with the slide, not worth it if you have to pay the full price.
Those with small children, do bring extra socks, glove, heat pack, snow cap and everything to keep them a little bit warm. Most of the kid during my visit was crying due to sudden drop in temperature. I mean sweats were literally dripping outside. Waiting time around 1 hour.
Most people spent less than 30 minutes. Jackets and boots provided can be improved. Staff is helpful and polite. Locker is compulsory, RM10 to keep your shoes.
Izzah Sablihan — Google review
This is the place if you guys like being so close to the snow. Mom and dad are also can have fun here because the slide is suitable for all ages. Near the ice place, it's ok, there are 2 games to play for adults. Adults: RM65 Children 2: RM55 The ticket price for renting a jacket include the boots. It's Better for you before coming here ready to wear a sweater, and also 2 socks, gloves, hats, all you can rent here or you can bring your own. It's just worth playing with the price paid. There's a hot water machine near the lobby, you can buy it to refresh your cold body, then go into a cold place to play until your got bruised 😀. Theres Toilet for men and women. Overall, if you just come here, you won't be shocked, but if you're ready to go in and play for a long time, it's WORTH THE MONEY and BEST! It is much more better and more merrier and fun to go with friend and family in large numbers. Anyway this is the place I've recommended for you to go in travel or weekends families trip.

Kids heard of stories of snow abroad and wanted to experience how it feels like. This place has been opened for quite a while but glad to see that it’s still quite well maintained. It opens at 1pm like other attractions in the park (except the water park) so don’t come too early. You can buy tickets online via their mobile app or you can also purchase tickets over the counter. Ticket prices include jacket and boot rental only. I recommend gloves but don’t get it from the park, it’s not suited for cold weather, bring your own instead that doesn’t get wet when touching snow. If you can stand the cold you’ll easily spend a couple of hours of fun here
Winston Chuah — Google review
We were there for the 2nd time and planning to go again. Great place to have fun with kids. Be prepared with water proof gloves, socks and additional sweaters. Shoes and jackets are provided.
Mufleeh Sadique — Google review
Came back here after my first visit 11 years ago! Over the years I've heard that the service has gone down and nothing changed. It's still icy cold with not much snow in sight. Last time I was here, on top of the entrance fees, you have to pay for a winter jacket and 'pua chu kang' yellow boots rental! Now, the entrance fees already included all those necessary attire.. but if you bring kids, i would suggest for you to add the gloves, hat and earmuffs because it's still icy cold. Last time there were no snow machines.. just plain ICE! But now u really get to experience the snow! There are a few sections inside, still big! There's a playground, tubby tube slide, icy slides playground at the end section and even bumper cars! It's still fun.. for those who NEVER experience snow.. heeee

Exciting place to be but limited activities can be done as the space is not that big. The temperature is freezing cold with ice and snow around us. Cool place to take photos and videos. The price is a bit expensive. It's better to buy gloves before you enter.

1/9/2023 - Overall ok la but here’s an absolute updated review on the place. I went with tickets i bought online.
1. You are given actual snow boots, not Phua Chu Kang rubber boots.
2. I think you can actually wear your own jacket which is better. Theirs looked like some raccoon died on it 😂 but ok la can wear. Mine had a broken zipper.
3. The toilet is OUTSIDE of the building. Once you tap in, you cant go anymore so please go before you tap into SnoWalk.
4. The locker is RM3 but must be paid via their own SuperApp. Download it into your phone beforehand and load RM10 (thats the minimum). The reception in there is non existent so please load up before you get there. Balance RM7 can be used to buy ice cream and drinks outside when you’re done. The locker is single use, make sure you are certain of the things you want to keep inside before you lock it. Failing which you have to pay another RM3.
5. We lasted 4 hours inside cos we were super prepared with thermal wear, double socks, scarves, earmuffs, snow gloves and beanies. One thing that worked amazingly well was face mask! Kept our face nice and warm. Also another tip, we wore water shoes on top of our double socks. So please size up your snowboots.
6. Bring tissues cos your nose will leak in there.
7. You enter straight into the bumper car room. To your left of the bumper car room is the entrance to the aurora play area. 3 sections with kids slide, donut slide and igloos tents bikes sleighs. To the right of the bumper car room that says exit is actually another area (best for us). Snow blowers, high slides and a super fast shoot slide. FUN!! But this is the coldest room.
So glad we brought so much clothes along 😂
Staffs are helpful. Except that grumpy lady at the ice cream kiosk outside the building 😂
Mei Mei Ng — Google review
Buy tickets online, even cheaper. The temperature is very cold. Extremely cold. Colder than the fridge in your house. -5.
Don’t make the same mistake as I did, thinking I could withstand the cold, not wearing gloves. Haaaa, numb my fingers. The cold is not a joke. It is extremely cold. They give boots, jacket. But the jacket is pathetic. No zip. If you have your own jacket, please bring it. If you think you can withstand the temperature of Cameron at night, then you are confident you can withstand the temperature in here, you are making a big mistake. Without gloves, in 5 minutes, your fingers would numb. Lips also numb. Recommended clothing, boots, jackets, face cover, waterproof and thick gloves.
MrFarinz — Google review
A few slides currently out of service/under renovation. The whole park area outside of snow walk seems to be virtually abandoned. Unsure if undergoing renovations?
This place was a little saving grace from the heat however, absolutely needed if not used to the Malaysian weather.
We got some really cute photos, and they can hire you a locker, boots, and jacket so you don't need to bring your own. Definitely a great spot to bring the young kids!
Sneaker Enthusiast — Google review
We had a really fun time playing despite it being the school holidays. Entered at 5pm and exited by 7pm. There are so many elements to play, so it was very exciting.
The jackets are unable to zip mostly, some are too thin, some are just nice. The shoes for kids were not waterproof hence their feet became wet and cold. Bring wtaer proof gloves too if they want to play with the snow a lot.
Also advisable to bring a change of clothes too as your pants will get wet from the big slides.

Where else to experience snow without travelling? A great experience for children. Difficult to maintain such an attraction but I am happy it survived the covid shutdown. See you again soon.
John Yeo — Google review
Don't be fool by the photo. The place is so dated and small you can finish the walk in 15min. Even my family tried best taking many funny photos and did 10 times slide each it's at most 1hr we can stay. Not because of cold, it's just too old and boring. RM350 that's enough for a full day family fun at Genting, any other decent theme park in KL.
Wood L — Google review
I recently visited the snow park with three young kids and we had a lot of fun. The park offers a unique and exciting experience, especially for children. However, I'd like to offer some constructive feedback for future visitors and the park management.
Pros:
The park provides a unique and enjoyable snow experience, great for kids and families.
Cons:
* The park provides jackets but not gloves, which is a bit inconvenient. The gloves available for purchase are of low quality, which detracted from our overall experience.
* The children's jackets lack caps, necessitating an additional purchase. This seems like an oversight that could easily be remedied.
* The temperature inside the park is set very low, around -8°C. While I understand the need for a cold environment, this extreme temperature made our stay shorter than anticipated. A more comfortable temperature, perhaps around -3°C, might enhance the experience and allow visitors to enjoy the park for longer periods without discomfort.
Overall, while the experience was enjoyable, these points of improvement could make future visits more comfortable and enjoyable for all guests.
Arshad Mehmood — Google review
Got many improvement since my last visit last 2 year. Could bring your own gloves and snow cap, otherwise you need to buy there. RM10 for pair of gloves. For socks better wear from home. They will only provide you jacket and boots. They also provide you a locker (one time open only) but need to pay RM3 only, so you can keep your personal belonging there except smartphone because of course you’ll need it for take lot of photos. Overall i am very satisfied.

The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque is an impressive and well-known religious site featuring soaring minarets, a blue stained glass dome, and a Malay-style interior. Despite ongoing construction work in February 2022, the mosque remains spacious with ample parking space and a calm atmosphere. The ablution room is also quite large, though there could be clearer directions to the praying rooms for Muslim women.
Always in awe at its beauty. Been here so many times. Im always impressed by the constant improvements that they made to the mosque.
I have been to this mosque since i was a child. I attended my preschool here. Back when theres only an open air area downstairs. Before they put the escalator in. Even back then this mosque has been as majestic as it is.

They are doing some construction here & there rn (Feb 2022) but still, the mosque is very spacious, calm, spacious ablution room, lots of parking space too. Maybe they should do a bit more thorough direction to praying room (especially for muslimah). Annndd, I'm looking forward for the fountain tbh (idk how long it's not working), but I just thought maybe they are upgrading it. But overall, the mosque is 👍. Brought my mom there after a long time we've never went to mosque (because of covid) and she loved it. Plus, I just hope they provide wheelchair for elderly at the entrance because some of the elderly can't walk that far. Tq.

Such a beautiful mosque! 💙💙💙
I came here on a Saturday morning around 9 am, therefore no one was here at that time. The mosque is super clean, I love that the carpet is soft too. The first floor is for males, and the second floor is for females. They have an elevator too, which is very convenient for those who need it.
I’m not sure if they have air conditioners, but I saw a lot of standing fans here and there.
I definitely love the females’ section, mainly because of the huge windows and the art on them.
I would love to come back here again and try praying here as I haven't checked the wudhu room.

Went to the blue mosque on last Sunday with Korean friends. We had a wonderful guide for two hours to brief around about the mosque facilities, architecture and Islam. If any tourists would like to visit, it is open everyday and is best to visit around 9am -12pm and absolutely free.
The guide is really informative and details from the ablution room, prayer room, marriage of law contraction room. Good job for our guide in providing us photo session and some demonstration as well.
For foreigners that would like to visit needs to wear proper attire; please wear long pants and skirt during visit. They will provide a robe and hijab for ladies while the visit. Please visit here if you would like to have better understanding in Islam and how mosque works. I would recommend this mosque for tour visit.
The guide is conducted in English and Japanese by the staff. As for Chinese language, some staff might be able to speak the language. 😊

The architectural design of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque is a combination of Malay and Modernist style.
Love the windows are fitted with blue stained glass to reduce the amount of light that can enter the hall. The resulting filtered illumination renders a bluish ambiance to the interior spaces evoking a sense of peace and serenity!

I recently visited this mosque and was impressed by how comfortable and calming the atmosphere was, particularly after the maghrib prayer. The mosque provides a great opportunity for spiritual reflection and rejuvenation, especially with the daily Islamic sermons that take place after maghrib prayer.
After long working day, I found that visiting this mosque after a tiring day helped me to unwind and make my nights more peaceful. The serene environment of the mosque and the insightful sermons provided a sense of tranquility that I rarely experience in my daily life.
Overall, I highly recommend this mosque to anyone who is looking for a place to connect with their faith and find inner peace. The welcoming atmosphere and spiritual guidance provided here make it a truly special place.

The mosque is among the famous main attractions in Shah Alam. The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque (Malay: Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz, Arabic: مسجد سلطان صلاح الدين عبدالعزيز) is the state mosque of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in Shah Alam and is the country's largest mosque and also the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia by capacity. Its most distinguishing feature is its large blue and silver dome. The mosque has four minarets, one erected at each of the corners. To get the best view of the mosque, take a photo during night time, you won't regret it.

mashaAllah, a really beautiful architecture of the masjid and very peaceful place. on top of that, it its very convenient for travelers bcs you can just shower there, the toilet and ablution water provided is huge

Female praying area at the main hall is accessible during normal days except Friday. I have been to this mosque when I was a kid, coming back here years after brought back memories. The toilet was clean but a bit run down. Toilet can be accessed through the ablution area.
Driving here using Google Maps, the entrance suggested as the first option was quite dangerous to use as it was on a roundabout with sharp left turn, the second option was not appropriate too as you cannot make a U-turn.

located right in the heart of Shah Alam and one of, it not, the largest mosque in Malaysia. It can easily accommodate more than 20000 people at a time. Last time I visited this mosque, there's a tour guide for non muslims or anyone really. You can hire them to get to know more about the mosque as well as Islam. Theres quite a number of parking so that wont be a problem. although, the mosque may not be wheelchair friendly as if I'm not mistaken there's only escalators on both side of the mosque as well as stairs that might also not be suitable for elderly to go to the main prayer hall. Fortunately, theres an area under the main prayer hall that is easily accessible. Overall, not a bad mosque, totally worth the visit.

An absolute must visit while in Malaysia!
The architecture is absolutely amazing, this mosque is breathtaking...
There's a women's area (Muslimat/Wanita) at ground level, behind the men's space is near shoe racks #10-12 there are fans - no air conditioning in this area, it does include a closed off room for privacy/itikaf if staying overnight etc
The women's area with air conditioning is on the second floor - To access upstairs make your way to shoe racks #16-18 at ground level - here you'll find the women's wudu area, with showers and toilets - and large stairs up to level 2 (escalators are available at the front of the building, I didn't see an elevator)
For men, they can continue through the main entrances on ground level + There is also a men's prayer space in front of the women's area on level 2!
If attending during Ramadan, there is iftar sponsorship every night - the queue starts about an hour prior to maghreb prayer.
I recommend arriving from asr prayer and enjoying the time in worship until the iftar distribution starts - this way you'll also get a great car spot if you're driving, in shaa Allah

This is one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia in the Shah Alam area. AKA 'Blue Mosque' 4th-biggest-mosque in the world. Calm serene place and unique atmosphere. Don't miss who into landscape or architecture, but the place quite far from KL, so notice that not recommend if you arrange this place on the day you will back to your home country.

After the flights, you can shop and end up at their amazing food courts. Huge one. With hundreds guests capacity, very delicious foods are sold there. After all, 2 hotels are available within the new airport too!

My partner and I visited Gateway KLIA2 hoping to find some wine, but unfortunately, we couldn't find any, despite the area being full of shops. However, one of the best things about this place is the variety of restaurants to choose from, depending on what you want to eat and buy. For locals, it might not make sense to spend money there, but for someone in transit or needing a quick bite before catching another flight, it has everything you need.

However most of them are still under renovation until Q3 completion. Hence, choices are limited until they are open.

This is a standout airport and among the best in the world.
It has everything. If you are delayed here, count your blessings and enjoy the landscape from amazing shopping, great restaurants, spotlessly clean spaces, lounges, views of the runway and the friendliness of the people.
It's worth spending more time here waiting for your flight.
It feels incredibly safe and people leave their phones to charge then walk away for half an hour knowing it won't be stolen.
Best of all, prices here are only slightly higher than in the city.

A great shopping mall, located directly next to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2. The transit hotel and transportation hub (airport train, bus, taxi, e-hailing) for KLIA 2 is located at the ground floor of this shopping mall. This mall offers F&B outlets, fashion, supermarket, souvenir shops, convenience store, transit hotel, etc. It is a good place for you to hang out before your flights. For F&B products, prices are slightly little bit higher compared to the city.

Why don’t you just put a stupid watch or display at the gate with information of buses 🚌 ?????
I noticed a display on gate but not working,

Its international airport, the tourist coming from international locations, might mismatch with local time zone.

This review is about the rude attendant who guides people to taxis.
I went into the taxi platform looking for the Socar (short term car rental) location and the attendant yelled at me and said this was just for taxis, and proceeded to tell me to read instructions properly, go back to the counter, and he was busy with real customers, etc etc.
This is not the kind of Malaysian hospitality I was expecting. Do not use this service!

Never improve at all. The Grab service deserves to take over their market and they should not complain. Can you imagine, a limo taxi in airport, there is a gasoline tank at the back which you can’t put your luggage, isn’t a joke?. The limo taxi got smoking smell too. Bad impression to the tourist

Great outfit for your dirt bike adventures. I was staying in Kuala Lumpur in august 2023 and had a few days to do some riding. The guys at Motomaniac helped me out from the moment I made contact with them (email) until the moment I left back to KL. Communication switched to WhatsApp and made it easy to fine tune skill levels, bikes choices, expectations and ride options. I did 1 day riding an easy track and days 2 and 3 I went on the overnight adventure. This was al very well arranged with the crew taking care of my luggage and stay in the small town at the end of an epic day riding. The shop has plenty of gear, changing rooms and a shower (which you will need ;) ). The guides know the area well and try to accommodate to your needs.
All in all friendly people and some great riding for most skill levels.
Will go again when I’m in the KL area!

Great day and experience!
If you want to have a fun day with or without your own bike, this place is a good option.
I was very impressed with the guys cleaning our bikes and putting them back on the truck after the ride. I was not expecting that.
The only negative part was that the guide kept riding away and not waiting for all the riders. We got separated twice and we had to go back on our tracks to find the guide. This must be improved.
Ideally you want to go in a group of 4 and share the guide's fees but do not hesitate in joining their rides.
I will definitely go back for another full day of riding.

I had a great time and will be back again. Thanks team.

Putra Mosque is an iconic mosque located in Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital of Malaysia. It's one of the most prominent landmarks in the city, known for its stunning pink-domed architecture and beautiful Islamic design.
Visitors are allowed to visit the mosque during certain hours and are typically welcome to explore the mosque's grounds and take guided tours to learn more about the architecture, Islamic culture, and the significance of the mosque.
However, it's important to note that visitors are generally expected to dress modestly when visiting mosques in Malaysia. For women, this usually means wearing clothing that covers arms and legs, and a headscarf is often required. Some mosques provide appropriate clothing for visitors who arrive in clothing deemed inappropriate for entry.

This is a relatively new mosque located in Putrajaya - a new and modern city. The female staff in the hall is very kind and passionate. She patiently chatted with me and taught me a lot of knowledge about the religion of Islam. I ended up learning a lot that I never knew before. It's absolutely the right place for those who would like to get to know more about the Islamic cultures and history.

Beautiful mosque to visit and relax. No entrance fee charge when I visited, however u can donate if u wish too, to the numerous donation boxes available. There are certain rules you will need to adhere to while visiting.
It is located near the Malaysian Prime Minister home,
This mosque is very windy too despite the hot Malaysian weather.

Another beautiful mosque located in Putrajaya, this is a pink mosque and you can refer to the photos for the same. Again, this is a photogenic place because of the colours. Women should cover the head they provide the abhaya in the front desk, it's free of cost. It's pretty crowded as it is a bit famous in Putrajaya, if you are taking this tour, it will be by default included. Do wear shades since malaysia has sunny weather.

Unfortunately, on the day I went, I wasn't able to go see the inside. Because there are some activities organized for the Prime Minister But outside is really beautiful. It's just that the sun is strong and the weather is very hot.

The dome is under renovation. Make sure to bring your prayer mat, they only let people who brings their prayer mat and telekung to enter the mosque. Parking was ok on the afternoon even on the weekend. But after 5 it'll be crowded and it's hard to find parking spot. Parking is free at the roundabout. Make sure to walk around the surroundings to get nice view. Have fun!

It was the place we got a peaceful atmosphere and a calm feel. Simply sitting beside the mosque will give you peace of mind. There are not many things to see in nearby places. Only this mosque and the lake. And the prime minister's residence also. You need to hire a cab to reach there. Or you can try the train. Putra jaya central is the nearest station. From there you will get cabs to the mosque.

Wonderful mosque. The pink color is really nice. They have a part where you can access the mosque to visit and see inside. It’s a great feeling to pray there. Once you go out you have a beautiful view on the river. It’s literally amazing.

Just walking around the vicinity. Too bad there's a construction going on around the cafeteria downstairs. Otherwise we would've stayed a bit longer while munching. Full of tourists. Better go around weekdays if you can.

Magnificent architectural gem in Putrajaya. The mosque's pink granite exterior is a captivating sight, especially against the backdrop of the serene Putrajaya Lake. The grandeur continues inside with a spacious prayer hall adorned with beautiful calligraphy and intricate designs.
The mosque offers a tranquil and reflective atmosphere, providing a serene space for prayer and contemplation. The expansive courtyard and lakeside location contribute to a peaceful ambiance.

KL Bird Park is a 173-acre paradise in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, featuring thousands of colorful birds in free-roaming areas, walk-through aviaries, and traditional enclosures. It is part of the Perdana Botanical Gardens and offers various attractions such as the Orchid Garden, Deer Park, Butterfly Park, and Islamic Art Museum.
Great place to go with kids. Open air, like a walk through the jungle. But the birds will walk besides you and aren't afraid of people. Not too crowded, even on weekends. Ticket price is very reasonable for the experience too. Friendly staff there who are happy to talk about birds. Even on a hot day, there's plenty of shade. Tempted to just come here one day with a laptop and just hang around.

The park costs RM35 for Malaysian adults. They have interesting species of birds and some of them are free roaming like the peacocks, which was nice. You can get quite up close and personal with some of the birds that are not caged. You can also pay to feed them, which makes for an interesting experience.
The park is quite big, but we didn’t see a huge variety of birds. There’s a huge waterfall aviary which was quite beautiful but it was underwhelming as there were not many birds there.
If you would like to check out a variety of feeding sessions and also the bird show, plan your time accordingly. The daily schedule is on the website. Parking is also limited but you can opt for the multi level carpark which is a 10 min walk away. Expect to spend around 2-3 hours in the park, depending on how much you love birds.

Good place to get to know better of the birds. Most of the birds are roaming free and friendly, just make sure you not being too friendly or hostile to them.
You could easily spend 3 to 4 hours so make sure you are prepared. They have bird show programmed at 12.30 PM and 3.00 PM.
Bring along camera as you may encounter candid moment, and some 50 cent coins if you want to buy some bird/fish pallet from the vending machines.
The park also provides accessibility for the disabled with wheelchair.

Went there at 3pm and left at 4:30pm on a weekday. You can feed fish there and there were many things to do. You can pay RM2 for a cup of bird milk (to feed them) and there were many birds. There were baby chicks in some rooms and there was some taxidermy birds too. We saw a snake and a monkey around the park and there was also a planetarium and butterfly park nearby. Recommended for families and if you plan to bring kids, PLEASE make sure they aren’t loud or noisy, some kids scared the birds away. It is a good educational trip for families. Make sure to bring drinks though, it was tiring.

One of the best parks as most birds are free to fly around. The eagles were inside a very large enclosure, so yes, its one of the things that made me love this park. The birds were lively, happy and in good health. They are fed mostly everyday. Most amazing sights were the owls. Such cute creatures

It's a lovely bird park in the middle of the city. We reached early in the morning at about 9.15. There is a reasonable entry fee. They have different birds and feeding shows throughout the day. They have four zones. The bird feeding shows are zone wise. Most birds can be seen in their natural habitat. Good varieties of birds. They have a cafe inside, there is a nice restaurant with a view overlooking the bird park called on Bill restaurant. They also have a snacks corner. No food items are allowed in the bag inside. They have a nice bird show with Macau. There is a small children play area but it's not immaculately maintained. The restaurant serves decent food. We left around lunchtime. There is a botanical garden at walking distance.

Perfect destination to enjoy your day with nature and spectacular birds in the city centre. It's really grateful to see the way they maintain the flora and fauna including the waterfalls. The birds are very friendly and enjoy giving poses for our photograph shoot. The zones are clearly defined to plan our journey and preferences. The facilities inside the park are in good condition including the public toilets.

No line for tickets on a weekend but we came early. Avoided the crowd by avoiding bird feeding times, but generally not too bad.
The paths were a bit steep at areas and slightly slippery because it was after the rain. They had closed one of the paths that was stroller friendly and we had to carry the stroller up the stairs as there were no alternatives if we didn’t want to turn back. I think this was an oversight as the other areas of the park were fine and it was otherwise quite pleasant to walk around.
Birds looked healthy and well cared for, and there were a large variety of beautiful birds that were easily spotted. Wasn’t uncommon to see birds flying around and swooping nearby. Aviary was quite clean.
Overall a pleasant experience!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how large and open this bird park was.
Many of the birds are free to wander around with the visitors, and some monkeys.
Over 3,000 local and foreign birds of some 200 different species.
A must-see in Malaysia!
The enclosure can get quite hot; bringing in water is recommended, or cash to buy water and ice cream.
Getting up and close to some stunning species.

1. Good vibes.
2. Friendly bird’s.
3. Since it’s not a summer time but it’s too hot.
4. Food and snacks are quite expensive inside the park.
5. Children’s play area is not maintained and still upgrade in progress, which is disappointed.
6. Need to improve the cleanliness. Yea it’s difficult but needs to take care because it’s a children’s loving zone.
7. Bird’s show is amazing.

Good environment, looks like management take good care about this park, birds waking around you, some of them come very much close and let you touch them(just in that case if you really calm and don’t shall at them, this part exactly not for the child). Can feed the fish at the fake mini lake.

I have to say I'm totally amazed by what the park got to offer. To be honest i was expecting it's just birds living in the cage but I was so wrong. This entire place is a cage itself and all the birds live freely within the ecosystem! You'll get all the birds appearing from no where, saying 'wild pidgey appears'. Many beautiful peacocks, and free bird show at 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Brought my parents here and we spent solid 3hours indulging in the bird heaven. Very walking friendly and well maintained. Kudos to all the staffs. Totally recommended!

We were in two minds about visiting the bird park due to some of the negative reviews. However, our son was keen to visit, so we spent the morning there.
Yes, it wasn't cheap for international visitors but we are on holiday & that is what we save for.
The park was a welcome cool retreat from the city as much of it is under huge trees. It had a great variety of birds that were well fed & looked in good health. There was a few moulting, but that is a natural process.
The bird show was a little bit of fun. It was about 15 minutes in duration & is held twice a day.
Agree with other reviews the park could do with some maintenance.

A lovely environment to wander through. We enjoyed the close proximity to some birds and the show was fun.
A little pricey but it's a good cause.
Our only criticism would be the amount of rubbish around the park but that's not for lack of bins, of which there are many and the taxidermy gallery is not worth it, as the exhibits are old and battered.
Otherwise, a great park.

Have been here many times. Very well maintained bird park, even after all these years. Good fun for both adults & children. Takes about 2 hours plus to slowly explore the entire park. Do be careful not to walk into/onto any of the birds that are freely roaming about. Highly recommended!

We ate at the hornbill cafe before going in, seems a little overpriced for KL, but it was good to sit next to a fan on a hot day. There are several zones, though the peacocks seem to be in several. The large free-flying areas are impressive, though most of the unusual birds are in smaller enclosures. You can get pictures right next to pelicans and other birds. In the parrot walk-through you may get close to some parrots, plus you can pay extra for pictures with parrots. The Eagle feeding at 15.30 was a bit underwhelming, no commentary and a number of people drifted away before the end. At the end most of the audience was other birds that were there to be fed on the path next to the people. Saw the 16.30 show where some parrots did tricks and an Eagle flew around. The lady presenting did her best with a sparse audience. Didn't wait for the feeding at the waterfall. It filled some time while we waited for our flight.

The Menara Kuala Lumpur is a tall tower in Kuala Lumpur that offers spectacular city views. The tower is used primarily as a TV and communications tower, an Islamic falak observatory, and a viewpoint over the city.
We went just in time for sunset and it was quite a line at the ticket counter, which you can avoid if you get tickets online.
The Observation Deck is an enclosed space so we chose to go to the Observation Deck, higher up in open air. The view over Kuala Lumpur was magnificent, especially as the sun was going down. We also went to the Sky Box which is fun simply for the fact that it's a balcony with glass floor. Be advised you're only allowed 1 minute and 40 seconds in the Sky Box so make your photos count. And shoes have to come off.
Cristina — Google review
RM30 just for being at the observation deck and not able to go to other floors. To me, I don't think it's worth the price. There are other cheaper options to get a 360 views of KL.
Plus, I was hoping that they could have a section on the floor where they put benches across a TV that plays a video explaining about the tower since there's no tour guide around. At least we get to leave the place with more knowledge instead of nice pictures only.

Not sure if it is worth the price to be honest.
The view is great but there are other ways to see it. It viewing deck area is full or tourist stalls and the constant photographers asking to take photos of you is very annoying. I did this with my lunch reservation at the restaurant.
Which if you must must see this tower. Then the restaurant is also an okay way to do this.....
I don’t think I would go back here again.
Admittedly though, given the state of the world right now it would be nice to be allowed to go anywhere right now.

Going to the top is very fascinating. I would like to advise others to get the brunch option at the 360 revolving restaurant which is one level high above the standard observatory tower. The advantage is that you will get the brunch along with 360 degree views, beautiful ambiance in a fractional price difference. I didn't know otherwise I would have taken this option for my whole family. The standard level is also great to be there and you can capture beautiful sky scrappers from the windows. Enjoy your time out there!!

Was recommended to go here instead of Petronas. The view is fantastic and I believe you can see very far on a bright day. There were no queue so we went right in. We had a pizza at the ground, which was a bit expensive but good tasting. We only went to the observation deck and regretted not taking the sky deck as well.
Jesper Miller Andersen — Google review
We visited during the day and wandered the grounds and ate at the little pizza place there (great value). We come back at night to go inside and do the 360° walk. The city at night is magical! I do think the price is high for what it is but definitely a beautiful sight to see.

Nice tower to visit and to see town from high. Recommend to buy tickets online will be cheaper and you can get offer to visit K.L aquarium aswell. I paid for both 98RM.
The same recommendation is to come in the morning, as queues will be small and you'll be able to do it quickly and enjoy time up without too many people around you.
Unfortunately, it started raining, so I couldn't do Sky Box, but they will give you new tickets, and you can come back once the weather is improved. I got 7 days to come back to use my sky box tickets.

It is a breathtaking view over Kuala Lumpur. You need to buy a ticket to go to observation deck. Before reaching the basement of the tower, one needs to walk hundreds of meters from the main entrance, aside from traversing several blocks from downtown area. This has historical and cultural significance in Malaysia so we really exerted an effortv to check the facts and figures ourselves, despite the sweat and brisk walking. There are food stalls from the main floor where the ticket booth is located. There are small shops selling souvenir items in the observation deck. There is a photo booth at the entrance. A must try when visiting KL.

Recommend the lunch buffet! A great way to spend the afternoon with the beautiful skyline of KL and so many delicious foods to try. It was worth the additional charge beyond just going to observation deck. And lunch is less expensive than dinner. We had a hazy day, but still happy about our visit.

I took the observation deck tickets, and it was quite decent to see the skyline. Recommend going during evening time to see the transition from day to night. When I visited there was a waiting for sky deck and after sometime it was closed due to rain and winds.

Must visit tourist area of KL. Take a grab to reach here, it may seem near to KLCC in the map, but it's basically built in a small hill. There are 2 ticket counters, the self service or the normal people counter. Take the self service, it has lesser people. You can either go up to the open sky deck, the observation deck or tower walk. Best time to visit is during sunset and at night. I went to both the observation deck and sky deck. I think visiting only the sky deck is worth it as you have the open sky and you don't feel claustrophobic and less people come here. Also you have the glass sky box in the sky deck. However, you may have to wait. My tip: always visit the sky deck after the rain, because the sky deck closes during rain and opens only 30 mins after rain, so you may be able to be the first person in the deck! The observation deck is kind of crowded and the glass and rods don't let you get the perfect picture. Definitely sky deck for the best pictures. But all in all you get a beautiful view of KL. Incredible!

Visited KL Tower for the first time with family. It is a wonderful excursion for my little one.
Limited parking around the tower area, so understandably the parking fee is RM 12.00 during public holidays.
No covered walkway from the parking area, you will be exposed to sun or rain.
I enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of Kuala Lumpur from the tower.
There are other attractions around the area including aquariums at a chocolate shop, mini zoo and upside down building.
I recommend you to visit this once in a lifetime. I will come here again with other family members.

This is the best place in Kuala Lumpur to see panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, for sure. I just gave it 4 stars because of the price- about $24 US per person for access to the upper deck and glass floored sky boxes.
We did not have to wait long for tickets, and lines for the elevators were fairly short, but once we got to the top deck, we had to wait almost an hour to get into the sky boxes for photos.
We really enjoyed the amazing views and got some great photos, and I would recommend considering this stop when you are visiting Kuala Lumpur.

We visited the tower as part of an overall excursion, to make sure we did the Batu caves as well. Its not quite as iconic as Petronas but still offers some fantastic views. You can see Petronas from the observation deck, but only at an angle. It offers fantastic views all around and is well worth a visit. Tickets are probably to be booked in advance, it was fairly busy but minutes not hours to wait.

Evening time is the best time to visit here. Alot of seafood places to choose from. And the prices are not as cut throat as other tourist-y areas. Foods are delicious and fairly priced.

Long road about 500m filled with street food stalls and sit down restaurants. Lots of choice although i found there seemed to me a lot more sweet options as opposed to savoury (1 prefer savoury 🤦🏻♂️) it was so handy as was just round the corner form my hotel (citizen M) so came back twice in 2 days for snacks..

Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I'll never travel to Kuantan without this trip planner again
Batu Caves, located in Kuala Lumpur, is a must-see destination with its ancient limestone caves and Hindu temples. The 400-million-year-old mystical caves are nestled within a massive limestone cliff and have been an important religious site for Hindus. In 2018, the entire complex was renovated, including the iconic rainbow-colored staircase that has made it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos.
Gorgeous cave with beautiful surrounding, it's amazing how much work and dedication were put together to make a site of worship for its followers. It's far from city center but definitely worse visiting, there are different ways to get there, we took taxi from our hotel and driver was more than happy to wait for us to get a second fare (apparently sometimes is hard to find a cab during rush hours).
While you're there be aware of monkeys, don't leave phones, small camera or other belonging away from yourself, they're fast, they grab things even plastic bags from people and run away. Make sure you don't give up, climb all the steps, inside the cave is huge and beautiful. If you decide to go inside the temple.

Absolutely AMAZING !!
That's it ...the vibrant colours inside the caves are unbelievable.

Batu caves is an amazing place. It's not just a temple, it's a symbol of Malaysia and what it represents.
Parking is rm2, toilet is rm0.50, but visiting the temples themselves is free.
Dress code for men, shorts and shirt.
Women, please wear shirts and to cover the knees and ankles. Sarongs to rent readily available for rm15.
Steps are steep, so not accessible for anyone walking impaired.
Bird feeding grain available for a few. Bananas and fruit available to buy to feed the monkeys. Please do not hold or grab the monkeys. Although wild, they are used to visitors and will freely walk amongst visitors. Photo taking is encouraged.
Toilets not available at the temples and only available at the base. Toilets are very clean and well kept.
Best to visit early morning before 9am for good weather and views. Do not visit after 5pm or you will be affected by the bad traffic .

The most impressive attraction around KL. Harmony of nature and religion ☯️ Enter is free. Don't be afraid monkeys, they are fed good there but feeling humans fear. Better to check train schedule - I stuck on the station for an hour and I'd prefer to use this time exploring caves

Definitely worth going if you are visiting KL. the cave itself is spectacular, the temples are interesting. Lots of animals everywhere so the ground is a bit dirty, just how it is, so just be prepared. The steps are also quite steep so be careful. There is a dress code, women have to wear a long dress or trousers and cover their shoulders, bit men seem to be with just shorts and t-shirt.

Very inexpensive fee to go inside ( you don’t need to pay if you’re not climbing the stairs) and need to pay for parking so it’s easier to Grab from the city center than drive. The beautiful. Statue with the rainbow colored stairs make for a beautiful picture and there is a restaurant, convenience store as well as souvenir shops inside and outside of the gate. Get ready to climb the 272 stairs !
Wilson Tsang — Google review
Good place to visit. The colored stairs are a very nice touch but are not the cleanest or safest to climb. They are wet and with the monkeys around, have trash including banana peel on them. Be careful when you climb.
Climbing those stairs takes a toll, go preferably on a relatively colder day with little humidity, and carry water.

Went to Batu caves about 30 years ago and 30 years from then, it still has the old charm and mystique from childhood. Besides being a popular tourist attraction, it is also a place of worship and for the pious followers. Take your time to walk up the 272 steps and be in awe as you stand above the entrance of the cave and look down to the sight of tourists, pigeons and monkeys.

Must have for tourist when in KL. Located 10km out of town, reachable by public transportation or grab.
275 steps with colorful staircase seem not too hard, all ages managed to get to the top.
Recommendation to go on early morning if you want to take good photo and less crowded.

Besides praying and visiting sightseeing like Cave Villa, naughty Monkeys are captivating attractions there. Most of monkeys there are playfull but be careful with your belongings especially food items, they tend to steal 😉

Interesting spiritual experience. You can climb the stairs and get to the temple at the top where you'll have monks welcoming you for a prayer. Be careful about the monkeys, they are not that nice. There is a museum on the ground floor as well.

What one could say when you’re in Malaysia and got to know that there’s an Indian temple and that too such an amazing. The place is so amazing that you’ll love it to see the sculptures and all. Don’t worry about the stairs, it’s worth visiting the top of that place and you’ll be amazed to visit it. I would recommend to visit and love the moment.

Batu Cave is an enchanting destination nestled in the heart of Malaysia, offering a memorable experience that blends spirituality, nature, and adventure. As soon as you set foot at this majestic site, you’ll be captivated by its towering limestone formations and vibrant Hindu temples.
The highlight of my visit to Batu Cave was undoubtedly the exhilarating climb up the high stairs leading to the main cavern. While the ascent might be physically demanding for some, the effort is absolutely worth it. As you make your way up, the breathtaking views unfold, rewarding you with a sense of accomplishment as you approach the sacred Batu Cave temple.
Now, let’s talk about the adorable residents of Batu Cave—the monkeys! These mischievous creatures add an extra layer of excitement to your visit. They’re known to be curious and may approach visitors in search of snacks or playfulness. Interacting with them can be a delightful experience, but do remember to exercise caution and keep a safe distance.
Once inside the cave, you’ll be awed by the grandeur of the Temple Cave, adorned with ornate Hindu statues and intricate designs. The spacious cavern houses several shrines, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and devotion.
To enhance your visit, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and carrying some water for the climb. Additionally, it’s advisable to keep your belongings secured, as the monkeys have a penchant for exploring unattended bags.
Overall, Batu Cave is a must-visit attraction for its unique blend of spiritual significance, natural beauty, and thrilling stair climb. Prepare yourself for a challenging yet rewarding adventure, and don’t forget to engage with the lively monkey inhabitants. Your journey to Batu Cave will undoubtedly be etched in your memory for years to come.

Beautiful place to see.
You can easily reach by train from the city.
If you want to avoid the tourist chaos it s better to go early around 8-8.30.
This attraction is free
And pay attention to the monkeys😁

It is a landmark in KL and attracts lots of tourist. Ladies needs to cover their leg and those wear shorts will be denied entry, unless they buy a piece of clothes at the foot of the hill (or stalls nearby) and cover up. Climb took forever (for the not so physically fit like me) but once on top, one will be rewarded with a big cool cave will a couple on Hindu shrine inside. Some parts where the wind flow was very cooling. The climb down looks easy but can be quite tricky.
For transport to Batu, it is not advisable to take the train because the frequency is low and the wait for the next train can be up to an hour.

Beautiful cultural place. There are a few flights of stairs inside the cave after the main climb up at the entrance. The cave was one of the largest I’ve been to. Was interesting to see the devotees in their places of worship inside the caves.

I visited it in July 2023. It was hot and hard to climb the stairs in a dress , longer than my knees ( no pants allowed), but it was worth it. Inside the cave the air was cool. I was surprised to see that the people lit candles and used incense during the religious ceremony ( as it's been done in the Orthodox Church).

Feeding the monkeys and pigeons was the highlight for us in this trip. If you visit the bird zone , ensure to wear a mask. Such a culturally rich area. I wish they put an effort to keeping the place clean. For such a. Large number of visitors and patrons, there is little to no attention to keeping the place clean. Attention to the temple surrounding areas and overall ambience would do it a great favour. Despite all that, I think it's a signature Must see in KL.

Batu Caves is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. But to be honest, there’s not much to see there. And the government should improve the hygiene of the entrance area, and keep tourists from feeding monkeys with their own food.

There are a lot of stairs if you want to climb. It can give you a normal city view, not that much nice, but a good one. There are a couple of active temples there.
The caves themselves are nice and give you a majestic vibe. There's one temple at the start and another one after climbing a few more stairs.

You'll definitely need to bring extra clothes as you will sweat a lot because of the weather and taking the stairs. We arrived early in the morning.
Mens can wear shorts and go up. For the Ladies, the knees must not be showing. Bring something to cover up.
Beware of the monkeys, they are thieft and stealing foods and other items from people.

Mostly Indian foods on the restaurant. No fried chicken alone.
Bring your own water or you can also buy there, but no idea how much.
A lot of coconut for refreshment on the restaurant.

A must experience. I was a bit concerned by the number of steps at first, but it was fairly easy going with loads of places to stop for a moment to recover. Very busy but just an amazing must do place to visit. Go all the way to the back (both caves with a second set of steps). Absorb in the whole amazing place. Lots of things to see in the vicinity, temples, resturants and shops.

Beautiful temple in the caves, decent amount of stairs involved. There are monkeys everywhere so be mindful of your belongings, those mischievous little guys get pretty grabby. Very popular tourist attraction so it’s quite busy. There are restaurants, toilets, gift shops all near the entrance area. I was very disappointed to see how much garbage there was everywhere. Watching the wildlife eating food wrappers and chewing old water bottles was pretty upsetting.

Visitors get two types of attractions in one: the temples and the massive caves. The statue and the steps are impressive to see in person. The climb up is pretty long but not all that difficult. It would help to get here before 8 AM to avoid the heat as well as the crowds that start to build up around 9. Didn’t see any monkeys early in the morning.
The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, were once the tallest buildings in the world and remain an iconic symbol of the city. These modern Islamic-designed towers stand at 88 stories high and offer a visitor skybridge for breathtaking views. Guided tours are available for visitors to explore the towers, including the Observation Deck on the 86th floor with stunning panoramic views.
We purchased the tour tickets in advance as it can get sold out quickly especially during the weekend and school holiday. The ticket can be purchased at their website. We gathered at the front of check in counter before the tour started. Security check was done and small backpack or food and drinks must be left at the lockers as it were not allowed. Then the officer in charge brought us to the Level 41, where the lower deck of suspension bridge connected with the twin towers. After spending around 10 minutes on the bridge, we were then moved to the Observation Deck which is located at Level 86. Here we can see the whole Kuala Lumpur with 360 degree view.

One of the most beautiful modern buildings that I have seen so far. The hype is worth it and it looks beautiful as during the day as it does in the evening. It was one of the best experiences and the ticket fee was worth it.

I bought the tickets for the experience in advance and they cost around 20 dollars per person. The tour is guided and lasts around 45 mins, I would loved to be able to stay more in the observation deck, but I understand why it's that way to give everyone the chance to experience it as well
There is two main stops in the tour, the first one is the suspending bridge between the two towers, it is fascinating. If the weather is too sunny, the reflections of the sun rays could be a little annoying. The second stop is the observation deck which is located on the 86th floor at a whopping 370m above the ground, the views of the city were magnificent

It was the roof of the world for many years. Of course, although Dubai has taken this attribute from these towers, it is still a very valuable place here. Two high quality skyscrapers with all facilities in one of the best cities in the world. The Petronas Twin Towers can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. Existence of different shops with different global brands has increased the quality of this place more than before. Here we can mention the Malaysian signature. Even small sculptures of these two skyscrapers are sold in different parts of the city.
The materials used in these skyscrapers are also very special and different. The interesting thing is that although the skyscrapers are made of metal and glass, they are always clean. It seems that the workers of these skyscrapers is routinely cleaned 24 hours a day. During the twelve years of continuous travel to this city and visiting this great city, whenever I came to these two skyscrapers, I always admired them for these huge structures. amazing.

The famous twin towers of KL. Definitely exciting to see from down below. Absolutely amazing views of the city from above in the sky deck and bridge sections.
Apart from that though, there isn’t a heap to talk about with the towers, other than the fact that they illuminate very well at night!

I had the chance to visit the Petronas Twin Towers in KL, and while the tickets were a bit pricey and required advance purchase, the experience was quite enjoyable. We timed it for sunset, which added to the beauty of the view. The cityscape from the bridge was stunning and offered a unique perspective.
However, a small downside was the staff's persistence in pushing us to buy a family picture they had taken. While it dampened the experience a bit, it didn't overshadow the overall positive impression.
In summary, the Petronas Twin Towers are definitely worth a visit, despite the ticket cost and the occasional push for purchasing extras. The view is incredible, especially during sunset, and it's an iconic landmark that provides a glimpse of Kuala Lumpur's charm.

It looks good at night. Ambience in front of the tower is good.
If you have been to the top of any tall tower in the world, you can safely skip going to the observation deck or the bridge connecting the two towers. There is nothing extraordinary even at night; you can save the hefty RM99 per person ticket charges.

A great place to visit and take in the views. The landscape is good to take in, especially from the 2 levels you get to explore. You are not overly crowded during the visit, with groups being made of about 20 people at a time. You get a good amount of time to explore the levels and take photos. A few facts given when you come off the elevator, but not a lot - would be nice to learn more whilst being shown around.

We booked the tickets online and choose the best time. Sunset. The weather was cloudy that day but still manage to get a glimpse of the sunset.
You cannot bring any water bottle or small bags up. You need to store it in their facility.
You get 10 minutes at each section, so take many photos and use your time wisely .
The glass can be dirty at some spots, and it is very bright with the spotlight, so it will be hard to take photos at night .
We saw a family that was turned away as they came at the wrong time slot, so choose your timeslot and buy your tickets .

Petronas twin towers are iconic KL tourist place to visit.
Plan in advance and book tickets and get the timing to see the towers.
They arrange the visit in groups so please plan accordingly to that when you get there as they will group you only once you get there.
The place has instructions how to get to the visitor centre.
There is huge mall below so you might get lost in that.
If you want to enjoy the place plan to visit the tower the later half of the day so that you can see the illuminated tower at night and the fountain show planned.
There could be showers and that can delay the fountain show.
The tower it self is good place to see the wonders of KL cityscapes.
They stop at the 42 floor to view the connecting bridge between the towers.
They give 10-15 mins for pictures here.
They then take the group to 83 floor and change lift to 86 floor.
This is the observation deck and has a lot of details and good place to take pics.
They then get back to 83 floor which has a small cafe and gift shop.
It also has a small video show on the tower history.
The total cost for the tower tour is about 100-130 Malaysia ringgit.

Recommended for kids to learn and have fun! I suggest to go on weekdays. I went to Aquaria on Monday to avoid crowds, yet there are still numbers of people lined up, but not too crowded and I didn't have to wait much. Cute fishes, but I think quiet small? I expected more sections and more species honestly. But they do have one big tank and one walkaway with fishes swimming above your head. But yeah, not much. However I do enjoy my time there. Recommended for those who wanted to bring their kids here.

We visited the Aquaria on Sunday but was not much crowded. Hardly 10 minutes waiting time in the queue.
We really had a great time (around 1.5 hrs) exploring different species of the fish.
The best part was the water tunnel walk where the fishes were freely swimming above the head with some awesome jawdropping moments.
Worth a visit in Kuala Lampur, better to buy online tickets to enjoy the discounts and avoid the queue at the counter.

A small aquarium with spacious rooms to see under the water world. many kinds of fish but not that much and knowledge for helping this planet earth to protect the climate and pollution. Good leisure activity in free time. It is good for kids and adults who are still young at heart. P.S. the tunnel was very crowded, too many people to get in side.

Aquaria KLCC offers a fascinating aquatic experience, although it leans towards the pricey side for foreigners. The variety of exhibits provides a plethora of captivating sights, with particular highlights being the impressive shark displays and the intriguing presence of Piranhas. Each section is enriched with extensive information about sea creatures, making it an educational journey. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking, but the diverse range of sea life, including fish, lobsters, sea snakes, sea horses, and even preserved animals, makes it a worthwhile adventure for marine enthusiasts.

This is one of the great attractions in KL, it's located in KLCC lower ground, and u still need to walk a little bit cause it's actually at the very back side.
The place is very crowded during big events, and doesn't really make me feel comfortable in seeing fish cause the people are a lot...
I suggest u to come on weekdays or regular weekends for better experience...
Anyways, the fishes are very vary and come from different places in the world... U can also experience passing through their aquarium tunnel and feel like u are surrounded by giant fishes.. So it's really worth to try! And the price is not so pricey for the tickets..

A great place to go with family to see the aquatic life. Bought tickets online to avoid congestion during the weekend which is useful as we went on payday. Overall, the visit is pleasant and we enjoyed the place.

Nice place to go despite being very crowded due to holiday. I think it's good for kids to learn, have fun and enjoy aquatic life. You can buy a ticket easily purchased online or offline. The most amazing thing is walking under the tunnel where you spot sting ray, sea turtle, shark, grouper, and diver cleaning the water. Overall, again, it was a nice experience to revisit these aquatic friends.

Really enjoyed the numerous species of fish at the aquarium. The tunnel to closely see the sharks and rays was very personal. However, I was surprised to see a petting area for visitors to touch the marine life.

Well organised not to busy on a weekday . Ideal location as next door the big shopping centre. Can buy tickets online or on the day . Able to get around with wheelchair or pushchair. Cheaper for local residents as it should be . Plenty of car parking around . Seen lots of various oven life . Like the idea of educating people about the environment , pollution and eco systems. Yes would go again .

Thought it was a really nice place to visit for a few hours while visiting KL! We bought our tickets from a third party website called Pelago which offered a slightly cheaper rate (RM42 for Malaysian citizens) compared to Aquaria itself.
We spent about 3 hours reading on the marine life, looking at the different species in different types of water as well as attending some of their feeding shows!
The tunnel was the highlight for me as a lot of marine life swam past the tunnel. We could even spot all 3 of the tiger sharks and all 2 of the sea turtles while going through the tunnel!
I do agree though with other reviews that say the tanks are overcrowded. But I’m not sure how I can recommend it to be better besides installing another tunnel?
One thing I didn’t really like was how crowded and hot the place was. It says there’s a limit to how many people can enter at once but it still was overcrowded and really hot. I can’t imagine what it must be like on weekends.
I would definitely recommend coming here to visit by yourself, with your family or friends! But do try your best to come on a normal weekday because the crowds can be overwhelming sometimes. Enjoy! :)

Had an amazing experience visiting this aquarium. It’s located inside KLCC. It is recommended to book the tickets in advance. Mobile tickets should suffice here. You will be greeted with a photoshoot and then you can spend time seeing variety of fishes. The tunnel experience is something noteworthy which has a moving walkway providing you the best views. Kids will enjoy this a lot

We walked to Aquaria KLCC on a very wet stormy day, getting there was easy and the entrance welcoming, it wasn’t too busy and we’d bought our tickets online. The experience is well worth the ticket price and there’s plenty to see. My favourite - the tunnel with the sharks coming over your head , also the Turtle and the Manta Rays … just awesome,

Nice place to go despite being very crowded due to holiday. Perhaps they should do crowd control so visitors get a more in depth experience of all sea creatures. The place is quite small to be honest. If it wasn't for the "forced" photography and slow tunnel journey, it would have been a better visit.
The issue with force photography is they get everyone to take photo whether you want it or not. Then they charge exorbitant amount for the photos...that are practically just fake background. Not worth the money.
If there is a administrator from Aquaria reading this, here is my suggestions to improve.
1. Control your visitors. Limit no more than say...200 people at one time. Instead of cramping everyone in during peak hour.
2. Don't force visitors to take photos unless they request for it.
3. Review your pricing of photos. Have 3 tier pricing. Starting with basic where one could get just one photo and simple cardboard frame at low price....say RM38. Then mid tier with an album with all shots about RM90. Final is the premium tier where they get all photos in a nice album and frame including the glass ball photo for about RM180. Just be honest and publish the price up front instead of expecting everyone to come asking.
4. Introduce a guided tour at allocated time. This will really help educate visitors especially young kids going on school trip. I'm sure you have someone from your staff experience and knowledgeable enough to do this. Try giving this free to try out. Then consider charging when demand is good.
Anyways, all the best. I hope Aquaria can continue to expand in future.

Aquaria is a great place for kids to learn and have fun! If you're looking to avoid the crowds, I recommend visiting on a weekday. Although there were still some people lined up when I visited on a Monday, it wasn't overly crowded and I didn't have to wait long. While the fish are cute, they're relatively small, and I was hoping to see more species and sections. However, they do have one impressive tank and a walkway where you can observe fish swimming above your head. Even though there may not be as much as you'd expect, I still enjoyed my time there, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to bring their kids for a fun and educational experience.

Super hot and humid, like a sauna steam room, do not go during public holiday or weekend, super crowded, I can't breath, wanna faint already especially when queueing into the tube tunnel, I can't stay any longer, just want to leave the place as soon as possible. The fishes and overall presentation are good, is just too crowded, feels like no air circulation.
Frederick Chaw — Google review
Crowded and not much of attraction. It took me only half an hour to finish the tour inside, not worth it. I don't even see piranhas. But most fishes are familiar with guests, they even swim close for photos.
Lucilla Strange — Google review
We had a fun time visiting on a weekday evening, entered at 330pm and took 2 hours browsing. We watched the piranha feeding at 4pm and otter feeding at 430pm. Low crowd and we could move around easily. We loved the bioluminescent exhibit too, it was so amazing.
Would advise visitors to buy tickets online for example via Klook to enjoy a discount, and you don't have to wait to enter. You can buy it there and then, with instant confirmation so you don't have to buy it in advance.

We give this place 5 stars. An absolute winner for my 4 year old daughter. Thousands of fish species. It was truly an educational tour for all ages. Sharks, manta rays, eels, turtles, jellyfish and more. It's a well- maintained amusement park and even provides feeding session shows for people to participate. Amazing aquarium. We loved the walk in conveyor belt aquarium the most!

It's a great place to see and learn about the ocean. It's like being under water without getting wet. Would like to go again but with less crowd(maybe on weekdays). It was hectic when I went there which makes it hard to have a good time without bumping into random people.

Really enjoyed this facility. Found it with some difficulty because you have to go into the convention centre. The lift between the floors of the Aquarium was out of action on the day I went, so mobility access would be a problem for wheelchair bound customers. I had help to get down the stairs, after initially telling me I couldn’t have access. For someone who couldn’t negotiate the stairs, a simple solution would be giving them access via the gift shop from the outside elevator.

I had an amazing experience at KLCC Aquaria in Malaysia. It's a must-visit destination, especially if you're traveling with family. My wife and daughter particularly enjoyed the vibrant marine life and the well-designed exhibits. The highlight for us was the underwater tunnel, where we felt completely immersed in the aquatic world. For a smoother experience, I recommend booking tickets in advance through Klook, as it offers a significant discount compared to on-site prices. This place is not just an aquarium; it's an educational journey through diverse marine ecosystems. Don't miss it if you're in Malaysia!

We visited this place on the fourth day our visit to Malaysia and it was really great experience. I have never been to such a place and it looked very interesting to me. For the first time in my life, I saw so many Manta Rays and lot more oceanic creatures from so near distance. Loved it.
Rupak Som — Google review
Place was okay. It had its fair number of aquatic animals featured and there were staff designated in areas where they would provide more info and show you how the animals are fed. I think the place needs to put a limit on the number of people who can enter at a time because most of the time you can't read or even check the animals beacuse there's too much crowd but not much crowd control. During the tunnel experience, there were no staff to keep other visitors in check that's why some visitors tap on the glass which is very dangerous.
Book in advance to save time from the queue.
Jay Manrique — Google review
Nice amount of variety in the exhibits, which appear clean and well-maintained. Plenty of descriptions as well for people wanting to become more educated about aquatic life. However, it was a bit smaller than I expected especially given the price (for foreigners, at least) - not quite as big as other aquariums I have been to. I finished in half an hour with a cursory look at all exhibits. Perhaps groups or families will take 1-2 hours to appreciate everything.

The beauty of the place is too good for words. Varieties of sea creatures are there. It is very well maintained and a good experience for all age groups .Located close to the PETRONAS tower,it has a beautiful surrounding good for evening walks and good evening spend is guaranteed .The entry fee is around INR 1.2k,which is totally justified. Best option is to get tickets via Klook.

Wasn’t too crowded when I went (11am weekday) although there was a primary school trip so loads of highly excitable children loving the fish.. was a surprise to see also meerkats and some other non aquatic animals.. The KLCC Aquaria is a highly-maintained aquarium nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, conveniently close to the iconic Petronas Towers. It serves as an excellent educational resource for children, offering a fascinating glimpse into marine life. Renowned as one of the top five aquariums in Asia, it boasts an impressive collection of aquatic species. However, it's worth noting that ticket prices are slightly on the higher side. Overall, it's a must-visit destination for families and anyone interested in marine biodiversity.

Small but lovely park on one side of the KLCC. There's a fountain, a wading pool (a favourite with kids), another pool with sculptures, a children's playground, all linked by a wide footpath.
You can have a great view of the twin towers and the connecting bridge, and an interesting view of the skyscrapers around.
There were a lot of people in KLCC when I was there on New Year's Eve, so it was really nice to step out into the sun and get some fresh air away from the crowd. It's a wonderful haven from the hustle and bustle, and I recommend it.

If you are foreigners, shouldn't miss this park at all cost. Definitely worth your time for a visit.
You'll be stunned by the magnificent Twin Towers view.
Recommended visit time:
Spare a two hours from 6pm to 8pm.
6pm - 7pm > Get yourself familiar with the surrounding while it is still bright (day time). So you have enough time to find your favourite spot for photography or enjoy the sunset.
7pm - 745pm > This will be the time the sky slowly turn dark. Enjoy the Sunset + Twin Towers lighting up. (Can consider capture time lapse 😉 )
745pm - 8pm > Enjoy the magnificent night view and the Symphony Lake Water Show. Then you're good to go for dinner.

One of the best public parks to visit if you want a morning/evening walk, or just want to breathe fresh air. Make sure it's not a weekend or public holiday, it's very crowded these days.
The park is super clean and maintained. There's a pond with fountains too. I did not stay for long but I heard there's a light show every night. Just like a dancing fountain at Dubai Mall (but I am not sure). What I am sure is that usually those fountains are synced with music and it's lovely.
Make sure you are always walking on tracks and not on grass, it's not allowed.

Nice place and short drive from KL. A good weekend outing to get refresh yourself.
I went on 25/12/2020 and in the entrance they placed a notice saying entry ie closed from June 2020 yet lot of people going in. So we followed them and roads a bit rusty as it closed for months. But had a nice experience.
Go to hill foot by 5 to 5:30 AM and trek takes give Or take 60 mins so that you can have nice and fresh air and sun rise. There are multiple ways lead to hill top and if you are trek enthusiast then there is a path where you need to a moderate climb(assisting ropes are available)
Things to carry, torch/head light. Water(mostly they sell if hill is open for visitors but for us No as such as its closed for CMCO), and limited car parking.
I heard that Usually they charge RM 1 + RM 1 but today we were charged us RM 10/pax by saying CMCO & SOP practicing. So prepare for that extra payment if you are planning in CMO time.
And its definitely not a family outing place so avoid kids, elderly, who has issues with heart or knees issues and who don't appreciate the beauty of Nature.
Attached some photos to convince you that, must visit one before you get 40. 😉

Broga hill located at semenyih. During rmco need to pay rm1 per person for parking, rm1 per person for entrance fee. Need to scan temperature and write down detail before hiking. Weekends more people will go hiking, but we are lucky because we hike during weekday, and less people on weekdays. Some part not easy to hike, need to use rope to climb, we only manage to go until 2nd peak, no more stamina to go 3rd peak, maybe during mco we rest too much, so a bit lack of breath and stamina when we go hiking. Bring sufficient water to dehydrated yourself.

Nestled in the mesmerizing hill town of Genting Highlands, Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms offers a vibrant and colorful experience for visitors. The farm allows guests to handpick their own strawberries or purchase pre-packed ones, surrounded by picturesque strawberry-themed decor that provides plenty of photo opportunities. In addition to strawberries, the farm features lavender fields, a mushroom farm, a bee farm, and various other fruits and vegetables.
Pretty chill place to visit. And cutting own strawberry. First purchase entrance ticket and walk in. There are photographers offering free photo shoot for you. In case you want to print out, they will charge range from rm180 and more (of course u can decided to buy or not to buy). After that walk further to strawberry farm and start cutting.. rm8 per 100gram. I guess the price is reasonable? Haha.. it’s family bonding activities anyway.

The not so good: entrance fee can't be paid by cash/card, only QR code (as of writing this). Some parts look very rundown. The retail side is not appealing, very old-fashioned. Need better management. The good: the flower farm side is beautiful. Lots of flowers, very colourful, great photo opps. Wish they would sell some of the flowers, people will sure buy! Sadly, no strawberries to pick that day.

Very worthwhile. Enter exactly at 9.30 am when it opens. An unforgettable strawberry picking experience. But, even though strawberries are red, they are small and sour. The price is RM8.00 per 10 grams. There are also strawberries for sale, but they are all imported from Korea and the USA. So many interesting places to OOTD and take photos. Highly recommended. A once in a lifetime experience.

For the entrance fee RM20 adult and RM15 kids, I think this place is worth visiting. For those from KL, it is nearer to come here than heading to Cameron Highlands. Free parking on the roadside. With shopping stalls and eateries overall this place is enjoyable, and they have decent toilets. Especially those who love flowers. Come early when the temperature is not hot. Felt the heat when noon heat strikes. Picking strawberries was sure fun.
If they were to offer selling plants like strawberry or grape, I sure will be interested. Like the fact they don't pressure you to buy stuff or take photos.

Interesting little farm. The beginning area is flowers, then you can pick strawberries as well (pay by the kg) or you can just buy pre picked ones. They also sell strawberry jam and juice concentrate as well as lollipops. There wasn't anyone else there when we went. My daughter enjoyed it.
Getting out is like a long maze though, you gotta walk through all the shops.

The place is so huge , we underestimate it at first. But, once you get in there you'll have to walk far to find the exit. But most importantly they provided toilets and prayer room for Muslim. A decent prayer room but enough. They provided free photographer shoot service but you'll need to pay for it to be printed. The pictures turned out so good as if taken by professional photographers. Endless shops you can stop by all the way in this farm. Such a fun trip with the children!

Reached there around lunch time today. There’s no strawberry plucking available today, but we went in anyway to take a look at the farm.
Heard from one of the cafe staff that the strawberries won’t be in season till maybe two months later.
Pretty decent farm, sans strawberries and lavender. And the weather isn’t exactly cool there. Not sure if it’s just today. I was wearing t-shirt with berms and I was sweating as I was strolling around the farm.
Tried the strawberry tart with ice-cream, and a latte at the cafe. Pretty ok.

20rm entry fee, get to look at flowers and pick strawberries. Strawberries have a extra fee of 8rm per 100g. I managed to pick a few (had to really search) but honestly very few strawberries to be picked. Most likely all picked by the kids.
They also sell locally harvested honey, not bad :)
There's also lots of merchandise stores as well as a small cafe selling strawberry tea/coffee.
But overall was still a fun experience. Recommended but try to go during strawberry season.

Ticket price is slightly expensive to me, RM20 for adult and 15 for kids, and this is only for seeing the flowers. If you want anything extra like picking strawberry need to pay separately. A family of 4 will cost 70 just like that.
The farm is big and Flower wise there are a few varieties and only that few varieties in the whole farm. The varieties keep repeating in different part of the farm.
If you decided to pluck strawberry, the price today was 80/kg. They sold packed strawberry too but I’m not sure if they are from their own farm or not.
They also sell honey, lavender made stuff like lotion, perfume, air freshener etc. there’s a cafe and many other stalls along the way near the end of the exit.
All in all, not a bad place and if the price could be cheaper it will be better.

Its a beautiful place if you love the flora and fauna because all you see here is flowers, plants and strawberry farms. The best part is picking your own fresh strawberries which you can purchase.
The entrance ticket for this park is a bit expensive according to me, but the experience is good, specially if you are interested in taking pictures.
There are also 2 photo booths, where they take family pictures as well as pictures with chinese or local costumes.
Some small shops selling coffee, perfume, honey, strawberries and food stall is available.

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms offers visitors a charming agritourism experience nestled amidst the cool climate of Genting Highlands, Malaysia. Spanning over lush hillsides, the farm is renowned for its picturesque strawberry fields where visitors can pick their own fresh strawberries straight from the vine. The farm also cultivates other produce such as vegetables and herbs, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the agricultural process.

A very beautiful place to visit. Entrance ticket is a bit pricey, but they have to get money to maintain the place. You can see strawberries and flowers here. You can buy many strawberries products like jam, juice, ice cream (I love it). You can also pick your own strawberries. There is also a lot of lavender themed products. Toilets are cleaned (at least when I was here). There is a photography service here if you want to take back souvenirs. Many shops near the exits.
Be careful because the place is next to a residential area but parking is fairly easy. I would come again and it is highly recommended.

Nice place, and I had a good time with the kids. Unfortunately, we didn't experience the strawberry 😕 because the season only in September and October. But you can buy a small box for 20MR for eat.

No strawberries are ripe to pick, its not strawberry season. Maybe next time I will call them first before come in.

📋 RM 15 for kids under 12 years old
If you want to experience the joys of picking your own strawberries at the farm, it will cost RM 8 per 100 grams of fruit plucked ❤️

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms at GohTong Jaya. The flower farm is very beautiful and colourful, ideal for those who enjoy taking photos. You can pluck strawberries for RM8 per 100gm or buy pre-packed ones. Thankfully, we were able to pick some strawberries this time. There are fewer crowds today.

Love the strawberry picking part. It was rm 10 per 100 gram. Reasonable price. Entrance was rm 15 adult and rm 10 for kids. Lots of flowers and greens.

The entrance fee for me is quite expensive. rm 20 for adults. kinda not worth it for me because there aren't many fun activities to do here. Can only see the flower field. When going to a strawberry farm, there are not many red and large strawberries. but you can still pick it at the price of rm8/gram.
There is also a small cafe to enjoy drinks and snacks, a honey shop and a gift shop.
There is a service for photographers to take pictures as memories in front of the flower field.
To me this is just a normal strawberry and flower field and doesn't really appeal to me.
In addition, staff and workers need to be trained to be more friendly especially at the counter selling souvenirs or Cameron tea.

The strawberry farm is okay except not muc fruit to harvest, probably not in season bt the whole farm was fabulous...the flowers /blooms plants r so beautiful...it's indeed sad to hear dat the farm be demolished n giving way to a go cart activity...suc a pity n a waste... I guess tis strawberry n flower garden is ideal n shuld stay since there are already too many game activities indoor n outdoor at Genting itself.

It was really fantastic place to visit and enjoy.
This is a one of Chinese temple.
This place defines that after death what you will get and it depend on your Sins and virtuous deeds. This temple define it by making statues. Telling about hell and heaven. Who'll get heaven and who'll get hell this depend on our nature and good or bad work.
I recommend who ever come to Malaysia must go this temple. Really that person will enjoy here.

Good place to walk and take in the scenery. There are also food and drinks to be sold at this location. Go on weekdays to get better pics with no one in the background. One issue is that I don't see any designated area for smoking so the smoke can and will travel to where you eat and there is no enforcement on the smoking ban at eateries which puts me off.

Took the cable car to the temple on the way down from Genting to temple to GPO. The stop is free and the same ticket can be used to continue your ride down to GPO. The walk from the station to the temple is quite long but there are escalators throughout the whole walk. The walk is about 10-15 mins. No entrance fee is needed to enter the temple but you can donate in those donation boxes. Plenty of eateries (meat free and with meat) in the temple compound. Estimated time spent here in the temple is about 1.5 hours if you look around leisurely.

I truly enjoyed my time here. The view was incredible and the ambience was serene.
When you are in Genting, it's worth coming here and embarking on a cultural journey through a visual depiction of the afterlife or simply enjoying the marvellous mountainous landscape from the temple.
There's a huge Buddha statue that you shouldn't miss and I think it's worth taking the time to read the stories and look at everything.

We parked at the bottom where there is a small prayer hall and at first glance we thought that is it, but then we went up to the main complex and it is really stunning. Nice cool air and very wide open space with a lot of architecture, statues, small caves and walkways to explore. Great for taking photos and not too crowded or tourist-trap feel. There’s also a small area with refreshments

One of the must-watch places on the way to Genting Highlands is a very beautiful, calm, and quiet temple nestled in the mountains.
This can be easily accessed by using the Awana Skyway cable car to Genting Highlands. There is a cable car stop station on the way called "Chin Swee Station." You need to disembark from the cable car there. Cable cars always stop there for passengers to disembark and board. However, most travelers do not visit Chin Swee Cable Temple because they are unaware that the cable car stops at Chin Swee Station for them to visit there.
After disembarking from the cable car, you have to walk downward again to reach the cave temple. But it is not an issue as there are escalators, 9 in number as I remember. So, no tiredness at all.
You will be fascinated by the beauty of this place, especially if there is a mild mist. You can enjoy a great view and take nice photos.

Beautiful temple that is kept tidy and clean. The toilets just by the lifts that take you down to the Chinese restaurant are disgusting and need maintenance and up keep but the toilets just behind Starbucks are clean. First of all the name is literal, the water is chilling!! Its a beautiful trail, super flat with little ups and downs and 6 different river crossings that make the journey to the waterfall super fun, all the while you can observe amazing schools of fish in crystal clear water streams, its just amazing. It's a must visit place, the waterfall is beautiful though it can get a little deep closer to the falls. Beware that the place will be super crowded since it only opens during weekends. As always, please ensure to bag and take all trash items with you on the way back. Enjoy!

2 km trail to the waterfall. Beautiful view. But be careful when crossing the river (slippery mossy rocks). Use the ropes provided. First u must register how many people are with you. You can bring food but only until the registration area. Bag inspection were done before u can cross the river via a "hanging bridge". Smoking and vaping were not allowed.
I wish there were signs about the place rules at the very start. Feel bad for the parents who does the heavy lifting carrying all sorts of food. My advice is when arrived, find a spot to put your foods/ to picnic and then register. Don't take a lot of space because this is a public recreation area. Be mindful towards others. Or you can just enjoy the river stream at the registration area. U can still get surrounded by fishes here. Recommended to wear water sport shoes.

The hiking trail is easy but you need to
cross the 7 anak sungai which can be a little
dangerous to kids as the stream can be
quite strong. But all crossing are guided with a rope. The place has tight security. Which Can be only visit on weekend and cannot bring any food or plastic into the hiking trails.
The view of waterfall at the end of hike makes you forget your work at home hoping you could become monyet and stay there for the rest of your life. But there is no sight of monyet as i remember. Definitely a recommended place for you to find peace and give yourself a reward.

Took about 1hour drive from KL to this hiking site, we didn't know that it is now open at 9am ~ 4:30pm.
The hike is super beginner friendly, but will have to cross the river 5 times to get to the waterfall, the water height is from knee to waist, so it is impossible not getting wet.
Along the way, enjoy the nature, sound of river flow. Cheers.

I actually just went on 27th January 2024 and it was open. I saw the google reviews which said it was closed and I went to try my luck and it was open. They do close the hiking trail by 1 pm. The river crossing currents are very strong right now though because the registration desk said whenever the east coast floods, the water has strong currents. nevertheless, the hiking to the waterfall was moderate for newbies like me. It was amazingly fun. I really appreciate how clean it was and the water being so pristine. Going to places likes this makes me wonder why would we sacrifice our beautiful forests for some over development of buildings that take away our lovely nature away. It was so beautiful and it makes me want to protect our pretty natural places. And i got to see the raja brooke butterflies! So pretty.

As this will be a 'wet place' be prepared to have shoes wet or go with sandals but those comfortable ones that is still good for hiking/walks as the water fall is around 30-45 minutes walk away from the registration counter.
Quite ironic, there were signage/notice telling visitors not to feed fishes but at the registration counter, staff were selling fish food at RM5/bag!

Excellent day hike. Bring water shoes of sort as you cross the river about 6 times. We brought our 10 year old and it got to about his waist at the highest point. The water was not very swift, but also had not rained in two days. I have they close the trail for safety if the rains are heavy. The hike is about an hour each way with virtually no elevation changes. Buy fish food at the trailhead. Feeding the fish is an amazing experience for young and old! You can't pack in food for the hike but you can picnic at the trailhead. Parking is on the road and it's about a 10 minute walk from the trailhead. I recommend getting there early to get a spot as it gets busy as the day goes on. Overall this is an excellent family day hike with a unique fish feeding experience.

Looking to cool down from the heat- this is one of those waterfalls that goes on forever, so many corners and spaces along the river for people to hang out for a picnic.
Parking is along the road where the trail begins. A 5 min walk to get to the entrance. There are toilets near the registration counter. Entrance is free.
You have to put in your name and identification before you cross the bridge to begin hiking up the river. There are 6 crossings guided by a rope. currents are quite strong and can be treacherous during rainy seasons.
You'll see fishes swimming near rocks and boulders and on shallower waters as the current pushes them down the river. These are big fish.
Wear a pair of good water proof hiking shoes. Some paths were muddy and slippery. Wear swimwear underneath and be prepared to get wet as you have to cross the river six times to get to the falls. It's spectacular!
They check your bags before you cross the bridge to begin the hike. Bot sure what they were looking for, we had some fruits in our bags and it was ok.

One of the must go destination in Selangor that is still FREE OF CHARGE. No entrance fee and a very good hiking, river/waterfall, fish sanctuary spot.
About 6 river crossing need to be done if you wanna reach the top where the big waterfall is at.
About 1.5 - 2hrs drive from KL. Its the foot of the Frazer's Hill twisty roads.
However, this place is only open on a weekend (saturday and sunday), 8.30am - 3.00pm. If you want to go to the waterfall, hiking and river crossings, and feed the fish, you need to enter before 1pm. Otherwise they wont let you go up ... No overnight camping is allowed, and if it is raining, you need to go out immediately for fear of the sudden surge of water or "kepala air' as the locals calls it.

This place is very well managed and clean. Well done to the management team. Opens only during weekends, 8.30am-4.30pm. This place attractions are river crossing and fish sanctuary. There's 4-5 rivers to cross with some up to waist deep. The fishes are everywhere and they don't bite. Fish food can be purchased at the base. The reason why this place is clean is because food is not allowed to be brought into the river and it's being enforced by having people checking your bags before entering. Nice and simple place to go during the weekend but bear in mind that there's a lot of people hanging around and taking picture. You need to park and walk up the stairs around 200 meters. There's monkeys so please take care of your belongings properly. Overall its a nice and serene place but not really well maintained by the management.

After mco period (March 2022), now that area is not well maintained and the pond and the building looks like poorly maintained, no longer looks like few years ago got the japan vibe. Unless they clean and maintain back the environment, else is not recommended to go anymore.

Came here for quick visit. Expected to see nice Japanese garden with bonsai plant. Completely disappointed with the way it was maintained. Only 2 very run down Japanese hut over there. Plants are not taking care properly at all. Really don't waste your time and effort to drive all the wag here (or even Colmar Tropical). Only weather is a bit cooling, that's all.

If you are Nature Lover definitely will love this place. Silence, peace and nice environment. Entrance fee RM 14. Limited parking available here. During my visit the shops closed.

The location was good, but you need to walk too far to the hill to see the japanese hill house is not very practical. Many old folks were unable to enjoy the moment.
The building and the landscape design are still well kept.
Beside that, the suite and spa was closed during visit, maybe because of pendemic. There was a japanese restaurant at the hill. If you reach before 5pm you can have tea and short rest there.
If there is a shuttle that can reach the hill it will add more points.

Wonderful and secluded place, Wher you can admire flowers, intriguing Japanese garden and enjoy tasty meal with a view. All this in an breezy pleasantly cold (26 °C) environment. Truly a hidden gem.

I really like the smell of nature here. It does look a bit like a Japanese environment, with many spots where you can take photos and check in. It makes me want to go to Japan again to experience it😅.
There is a small Japanese forest on the other side. If you like flowers and plants or like to study plants, you can go in and take a look.
Unfortunately, the snack bar/souvenir spot outside does not have a very Japanese feel.

1) selling ikan koi food at rm1 per packet
2) not recomended to bring stroller since a lot of stair need to climb.
3) well maintain garden and very tidy.
4) There are Tatami Spa but seems to be closed on my last visit there
5) there is rental kimono for guess. Can ask the staff there if interested.
6) do not bring any food so obviously since there will be group of monkey on the path.
7) the path can be very slippery if wet. Wear proper attire.

The Japanese Garden at Bukit Tinggi left a lot to be desired. It lacked the well-maintained and tranquil atmosphere that is essential for a Japanese garden. The overall experience was far from the peaceful and immersive visit I had expected, and I hope that the management takes steps to improve the condition of the garden to better serve its visitors.

When you stay in Colamar there is a free shuttle service to visit this place. Many steps to climb. You can rent a kimono for RM 20 to dress and take photos.
There is a photo booth at the entrance taking everyone’s photos. When you come back they already printed your photo and put it in the table calendars. RM 30 😂

Quite an uphill walk from the carpark... The Japanese garden is still well kept but the waterfall and river is quite dried... Nothing much to see

The place itself is spectacular however the climbing on top is indeed challenging esp for elderly. Those on wheel chair I would recommend a very fit person to push the wheel chair going on top of the hill. Other than that we enjoyed the place very much

Lovely trail from Janda baik, clear and somehow easy for regular hiker. Took around 3 hours to reach the top, enjoy the interactive with those cute little squirrels at the peak and chill at the Chemperoh Waterfall with buddies.

Many advices will claim if you can go G Nuang and pass you will be well prepare for Mount KK. Going via Janda baik route will save us 1 hour hike one way so which makes things easier. Nevertheless it was muddy, we had to crawl and kneel down to get pass fallen bamboos and steep section from 7am to 3pm. Well rewarded at the waterfall at the bottom of Nuang so look out for it. Plenty of leeches here though so be warned
Sungai Pandan Waterfall, located in Malaysia, is a picturesque natural attraction with a stunning waterfall and refreshing swimming pool. Visitors can purchase local food and souvenirs from nearby vendors. It is recommended to visit on weekdays, early mornings or near closing time as it gets extremely crowded. However, the management needs to improve visitor safety, particularly for male teens who enjoy diving off rocks.
Sungai Pandan Waterfalls (aka Panching waterfalls) is about 25 km from Kuantan Town, Pahang. It has a very spectacular view and it can been seen from far away. The beautiful cascading waterfalls is slightly light green in crystal colour when the sun shine on the clear water.
It is an ideal place for family, children & friend to relax & picnic over here.
The water was clean & cool. Children can swim at the lower end of stream & have fun on the sand. Adults can take a cool dip at the waterfalls area. Beware of the rocks, it could be very slippery & dangerous when you climb the waterfall. Watch the warning signs there as precious lives have been lost here before.
Making the environment clean & avoid the pollution is everyone responsibility ! We love our mother nature !
Please bring back all your garbage after your picnic, dating and gathering.

Short 5 mins drive from main road (as long no huge trucks blocking your way, place is being mined for sand n rocks.. sad)
Place is very clean, in someway though its nature but have been slightly tamed by humans with a poolshape water area.
The waterfall itself is so BEAUTIFUL and Majestic.
Toilet and shower is clean, functional and have strong water pressure. Its FREE as well.
There's a small fee for parking and rm 3 per adult entrance fees.

A beautiful waterfall near kuantan town. We went during weekday morning( puasa month) and it was very less crowded. Easy entrance and super easy hike. The water was very clean and clear, there was red tape at the main deep area as no swimming was allowed due to the depth at that time. But the others areas was good to swim. Recommended to visit in weekdays 👍🏼

Beautiful nature’s gem in Malaysia. Worth a visit if you’re nearby. Extremely crowded, suggest to come weekdays, early morning or near closing time (6pm). Last entry at 5pm and closed on Fridays.
Management could do more regarding the safety of visitors (especially male teens who enjoy diving off rocks) and trash management. We need to reduce our waste, practise zero waste and love the earth.

2 April 2024 the lady at the entrance where terrible. Doesn't give any information about the place. I would have been nice to know lile like the waterfall are closed for swimming!!! She just asked us money without saying hello or something. She actually gave us the wrong price so we had to adjust the price.it would have been more polite to ask us where we are from.
Instead of that the waterfall are very pretty. The temperature are so perfect and refreshing. The parking are big so you should not struggle so much to park.
The toilets and showers where good and mostly clean

Cash only entrance and passport holders pay more. However, it is worth it to see the beautiful falls. The water is very cool and refreshing. The day we were there it wasn't very deep, but that doesn't mean it isn't dangerous.

This waterfall is enormous and spectacular. Great place to calm your mind. Unfortunately, authorities need to maintain facilities, some of it not well maintained. Entrance fee as April 2023, was RM3 per head + RM3 (for parking). Outside of this area were some destroying nature activities such as stone mining & bauxite exploration. Hope it will not affect the nature beauty of this waterfall.

We didnt get inside but the outdoor is very clean.. Calm atmosphere with replica (or real) jet, heli, tank and much more at the field. Just beside an old train converted into a coffee shop.

I love everything about the museum, the exhibits, paintings, buildings and surroundings. They are so updated and modern yet doesn't lose it's traditional charm.
Only one feedback though, since shoes are not allowed I hope museum management can ensure the wooden floors are safe to be stepped on. The floors are clean and well maintained but the one in front of the gamelan room (near gramophone) is chipped. I didn't notice, stepped on it and it cut into my feet and there was some blood.
Overall, I had a great time at this museum and will visit again!

Visited this Museum during weekend. There are 3 aircond-areas inside this museum- Muzium Istana Kota Beram, Muzium Peradaban Awal Pahang & Personae Inderapura.
For citizen, RM10 per entry is rewarding as there are a lot of areas to be covered.
Most of the area just finished renovation, they need to mprove in term of signage & some of the artifacts didnt have any explanation/label on them. Apart from that, worthy experience.

KEMASKINI 1 JULAI 2023 - GALERI MUZIUM DITUTUP SEMENTARA
The Sultan Abu Bakar Museum is one of the finest heritage buildings preserved in Bandar Diraja Pekan, Pahang Darul Makmur. It is situated in an area that is preserved for its significant wealth of history dating back centuries. Originally built for British Residents in Pahang, it then became the official palace of Sultan Abu Bakar (Sultan of Pahang IV), before being repurposed into what it is now.
The Sultan Abu Bakar Museum has a rich collection of historical items. Located on Jalan Sultan Ahmad, the museum showcases antiques that include many ancient Chinese pottery and glass items, as well as various other artefacts related to history, archaeology, ethnology, and royalty.
The history of Pahang, especially with respect to its ancient Royal Family, is well documented in this museum. The museum building dates back to the 1880s and was used as the headquarters of the Japanese Armed Forces during the Japanese occupation before it became the official palace of Sultan Abu Bakar (Sultan of Pahang IV).
Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzam Shah consented to transforming Istana Kota Beram into a state museum, and on 17 March 1976 the Pahang State Museum Board relocated to the site from the Office of the State Secretary, from where they were previously operating. Repurposed into a museum, renovations were carried out, especially to create indoor exhibition galleries.

Pantai Teluk Cempedak is a relaxed and picturesque beach that is perfect for walking and swimming. It boasts numerous restaurants and vendors in the vicinity. Although its nightlife can be busy, visitors are advised to adhere to safety protocols and explore less crowded areas. The main bay features fake grass that may disappoint some tourists, but the extreme left end of the beach offers a little-known bridge that leads to Second Bay.
One of the best beach to relax in Kuantan. Clean, safe & cool/windy. Lots of seating places. Can even rent the inflated sofa from the vendor at the beach.
Has few restaurants you can dine in, with the beach view as a bonus. From the posh Starbucks to the local tomyam/seafood restaurant.
Fancy for some gift? Lots of stalls and shoplots selling the keychain, name engraving, kites, toys and others are around.
Also a good place for exercise/jogging. But beware of the wild monkeys.
Parking lots are plenty. The nearest costs RM2.50 per entry while the one besides TC Uptown costs RM2 per entry.
Toilets are clean enough but require major repair/upgrade.
Best time to visit this place is from 6.30pm onwards.
Big applause to the local authority for maintaining this beach.

Night life in Teluk Cempedak is probably too crowded, but hey, take care of SOP, cur to alley with lesser crowd, it will be alright. The Sand at the main bay is moved from somewhere else, fake grass. These are some of the small let down.
Please find times to visit this place in day time, and go to the extreme end on the left, you will find yourselves a bridge to cross to Second Bay. Not many visitors know of this area, so enjoy the quietness it offer.
But be careful when you see Monkeys lurking around the bridge, do not feed them and keep your things out of their sight.

🏖Nice and cleaned beach in Malaysia.
🌊The waves there were particularly strong during the northeast monsoon season, so swimming at your own risk.
However, there were some people who were surfing there.
🪁Since this place is windy, it would be great to fly a kite there. There were some stalls selling easy-to-fly kite there, and it was quite cheap (RM15 each) and really nice as well.
Just have chill and relax session at this place,
Just listening to the sounds of wave and birds,
Just have a great time sun bathing there,
Just enjoy the wind blowing upon your face.
This was a great place~!

Best sea view point for photographers.. Seem less photo effects when we take photos. Nice beach in Kuantan all parts.. Nearby have macd and kfc. Lot of shop's available for kids toys for swimming. The other part beach view we can go by the bridge. But the sad part is the bridge broken half of the way. So they closed for access. Please don't approach after the fencing. If anything happen cannot access emergency time. Lot of monkeys here.. Don't give any foods and don't approach animals rudely.. They have big groups 😂😂😂

Loved this beach - there are some food options available (Starbucks, mcd, and some more). Ample parking available. There is a boardwalk, shady too, we enjoyed the views from here. It can get quite hot during the day and there weren’t much people on the beach itself - could get crowded in the evenings. There are a lot of monkeys, a lot of them, but they keep to themselves and bother you only if you have food. Overall very good not to be missed if you are in the area.

This is the closest stretch of beach to Kuantan City Center and which is also why it had a good number of holiday makers when we were there just after lunchtime.
While one part of the beach is like a private stretch in front of the long-operating Hyatt Regency Resort, the other section is the one that’s open for the public and with the TC outposts of McDonald’s, Burger King, Richaimo, and Starbucks helping to quench thirst and fill up empty stomaches. The sand also looked inviting but as my son and I weren’t staying in the area and didn’t want to dirty the car, we did not walk on the beach itself.
There were many souvenir shops around the area, along with the established player called “Kedai Cenderamata Teluk Cempedak Sdn. Bhd.” in their own shop lot opposite, and my son decided to buy a “name band” for himself and his older brother, as souvenirs of this holiday in Kuantan!
