Wilson hill is a superb place for outing for a short picnic. Wilson Hills is a hill station near Dharampur Tahsil. Wilson Hills stands in a densely forested region. Just 120 kms from Saputara. Best time to visit in monsoon. Don't go in couple. make enough group of 8-10 people. Keep your food ready with you. Don't forget to have camera or smart phone with good MP camera with you. The beauty starts from the road to Wilson hill. Its little bit adventures type outing so not suitable for aged people.
Very good outing place with friends and family. May get bored if you go in couple. Height of the place, scenery, peacefulness are enjoyable.
Don't forget to take your own snacks and water. There is only one restaurant and some private properties.
Best place to enjoy sunset and monsoon beauty.
Road is curvy but good for driving.
Nearby: Barumal (mainly Shiv) temple. Food is available here also.

Wilson hill is a hill station in Gujarat. Located on a top of the hill this place is just like any hill point that becomes beautiful during the rains. The place was filled with tourist when I went but the weather was chery on top. It's a beautiful place but if you are going when the season is high make sure that you get your parking sorted in the beginning. But overall a good place to visit if you are around.

Review: Willsion Hill - A Captivating Journey Through Time and Nature
Rating: ★★★★☆
Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, Willsion Hill offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This hidden gem, located in the heart of the countryside, provides visitors with a captivating journey through time and nature. During my recent visit to Willsion Hill, I was enthralled by its rich history and breathtaking landscapes.
One of the most impressive aspects of Willsion Hill is its historical significance. As I explored the area, I discovered remnants of an ancient civilization that once thrived there. The well-preserved ruins and artifacts provided glimpses into the lives of those who inhabited the hill centuries ago. It was fascinating to imagine the stories and events that unfolded in this very place long before our time.
The nature surrounding Willsion Hill is nothing short of spectacular. The hill offers panoramic views of the countryside, with rolling hills stretching as far as the eye can see. Hiking trails wind their way through the hills, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural landscape. The air is crisp and refreshing, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect retreat for nature enthusiasts.
The staff at Willsion Hill were friendly and knowledgeable, offering guided tours that provided valuable insights into the history and ecology of the area. Their passion for the hill was evident, and their willingness to share their knowledge enhanced the overall experience.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The signage and information boards throughout the site were somewhat lacking, making it difficult to fully understand the significance of certain areas and features. It would be beneficial for the management to invest in clearer and more informative signage to enhance the educational value of the visit.
Additionally, the amenities at Willsion Hill were limited. There was only one small café on-site, which often resulted in long queues and limited food options. Expanding the dining facilities and providing more food choices would greatly enhance the overall visitor experience.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Willsion Hill is a destination that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching experience. Whether you are a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply someone looking for a tranquil escape, Willsion Hill will not disappoint. Its blend of rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality make it a place worth exploring. I left Willsion Hill feeling inspired and rejuvenated, with a newfound appreciation for the wonders of the past and the beauty of the natural world.

- wilson hills
Recently we visited on 16/06/2023. It’s quite near from surat take 3 hrs to reach and from vapi take 2 hour. Way to wilson hill is amazing and very beautiful.
The climate was amazing with frequent rains and clouds at the top. Wilson Hill is slowly turning in a tourist hotspot for a one day picnic. A perfect 1 day trip to the place would make your memory worth of it.
In my humble opinion. this place is best during winter and Monsoon. Monsoon is the best time to visit and experience green mountains and frequent rains.

The drive to the place is just mind blowing.
Quite steep but great to drive.
It isn't as busy as other places and exactly why it is brilliant.
Is being maintained quite well with a great walking path around the edge and ample space for kids to play and families to relax.
The views were supposed to be great but we didn't see anything due to clouds.

The Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is an ancient and visually pleasing Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva. It boasts a sacred pond that is believed to be the origin of the Godavari River. The carvings on the walls, stairs, and doorway are of high quality and can be admired in peace due to fewer pilgrims during Covid times.

Holy worship temple of Lord Shiva, situated at an amazing hill location.
Don't fall in trap of 2 km away parking and paying extra to policemen outside, the free parking is available inside and from that parking spot, the temple is only 300 meters away.
Separate counter for VIP entry is available which charges 200/- per person (recommended as there is a lot of rush).
The general entry encompasses of 4 big halls but very good arrangements are already made such as sitting, water etc. for the people standing in lines.
Outside the temple, everything is available from restaurants to urinals.

Peaceful place to visit. Roads to temple are nice.
There are two option to visit, free or paid. I suggest to take paid one, as it is less crowded.
Parking is available around 500m away from temple. Many restaurants and hotels available near by. Weekend is usually crowded.

We came from the paid queue and even their the waiting was more than 3 hours. The management is really very bad. They did not even provide water to drink for people in the queue. Overall the temple is just amazing and worth the wait actually. But we’re not allowed to see the lord for even 5 secs the security was pushing people no matter male or females.

This is a sacred place located in Nashik. It is one of the 12 Jyotirling in India. There are two types of entry in the temple, one with the general queue which is free and the other where you could buy tickets for 200 per person. You do not need to buy prior tickets but can buy from the ticket counter located near to the temple.

Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is a sacred place that I had the privilege of visiting. This ancient temple holds great significance as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. The serene atmosphere and architectural beauty of the temple left me in awe.
The temple's intricate carvings and traditional design are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. The sanctity and spirituality that permeate the air create a deeply profound experience for devotees and visitors alike.
Located in the scenic town of Trimbak, Maharashtra, the temple is nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by the majestic Brahmagiri Hills. The natural beauty that surrounds the temple adds to the overall aura of tranquility.
The visit to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir was not just a religious journey but also an opportunity for inner reflection and peace. It is a place where one can connect with spirituality and experience a sense of divine presence.
Whether you are a religious pilgrim or someone seeking a serene and spiritual atmosphere, Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir offers a sacred and memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression on one's soul.

Holly place, very clean.
Temple trust should allow payment for Rs. 200 darashan tickets using UPI or any digital payment method, only accepting cash is something that should be avoided. Vendors shops outside temple are accepting digital payment, but why temple authority is not allowing digital payment is hard to understand.
otherwise all facilities are quite good. but small change can bring in lot of convenience to pilgrims 🙏.

Very aesthetically created temple. Thanks to very few pilgrims in the early morning, esp during Covid, one way able to spend time admiring the high quality carvings on the facade, the walls, the stairs and doorway. It was funny to see the priests, out of sheer habit, rushing the devotees even if there was no one behind them.
Wish there was an audio guide.

They have an option to buy some passes (on donation grounds)to allow preferential entry. It works on some days and the general line is quicker sometimes.
The donation for individual pass started at 200 each.

I recently visited the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, India and it was an incredible experience! The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.🙏
In Every Jotirlinga you will see only Lord Mahadev but at this place you will see Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in One temple and in One linga. Such a peaceful place.🌄🛕
The temple is located in a scenic area surrounded by hills and a river, adding to its beauty. You can go with donation queue by paying ₹200 but in this line too you will get a little bit time for darshan rather than general queue.👥👥
The origin of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga dates back to ancient times. It is believed that the temple was built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era. According to Hindu mythology, the Godavari River originates from the Brahmagiri Mountains, and Lord Shiva himself resides in the form of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga at the source of the river. The temple has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years.
It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Maharashtra and looking for a spiritual and cultural experience! 🙏🏼✨

This temple is one of the Jyotirlinga and Kumbh is also conducted here . Located in the town of Trimbakeshwar must visit place for Hindus and all having faith in the religion. Almost drive of 40 min from Nasik , beautiful highway with good eating places all the way. this temple is situated in the foothills of Brahmagiri hills and it is said that river Godavari originates from here. Very old structure made up of stones and carved intricate sculptures. To have darshan of Linga, mirrors are placed above it on the back of wall to enable devotees to see deity. Thjis temple is always heavily crowded by devotees and you need to stand in queue for long time or you buy VIP pass for Rs 200/- per person to bypass queue. then also you need to wait for almost an hour. You need to Bribe pandits if you wish to perform puja or have clear darshan. Inside also the behave of pandits and caretakers behave is very disappointing as they are rude and keep pushing you. Need to be managed in befitting way. Outside the temple is big market selling all type of items. But the area is not very well maintained. Parking is available but you need to park at some distance and walk almost a KM. local area is very dirty and not pleasing to eyes, as it is famous religious place and historical temple. But you feel divine after visiting this place.

We visited on the weekend so obviously there was too much rush. So we decided to stay overnight and got up early in the morning. Though the queue was long, we got the darshan in half hour.
The darshan experience was divine. The temple has historical importance.
There are ample of stay options near and around the temple. We got affordable option of rs 650/-for a night. Do carry your id cards for stay in a nice place.
There are many varieties of food eateries on the street too and nice restaurants too.
The streets are filled with multiple and affordable shopping options. We need to bargain a bit to get the best price.
Only issue we faced was of mosquitoes. So do carry Odmos Or any other mosquito repellent with you to avoid the mosquito bites. Hope the local authorities look in the matter of cleaning the streets too!!

One of the twelve jyotirlings of Lord Shiva.
A very well maintained, ancient temple complex with multiple entry gates.
One needs to wait in line for darshan, but it is worthwhile as there is a huge mirror above Shivlingam so that everyone can do a proper darshan.
There are many eating places and souvenir shops nearby.

hat is your experience at Darshan in the Trimbakeshwar Temple?
What is perfect way to visit a Shiva temple and approach the shivling (the technicalities, plase dont say bhakti, etc, that's obvious) as per the scriptures (what to wear, what mantras to chant, order of deities to be worshipped, etc)?
I hear you.
There are, certainly, rules or factors that are dear to God and compatible with the Shiva Puja, especially those that are ritualistic and done in temples or in one’s puja. my answer is going to be long and comprehensive, but please go through it, so, that I can provide all the necessary information and points.
You can do anything in Bhakti, where no rituals are being followed. But no temple visit or ritual worship is exempt from ideal and expected conduct.
Before entering the temple, keep yourself bodily and mentally pure. Head bath and clean clothing. You better not have eaten any profane food at least one or two days before, like meat, intoxicants like alcohol etc. But being on Satwika Bhojana always is best. (Brahmacharya is good too, but optional, be as Satwika/pious in body and mind as possible)
White colour / Subhra Barna/ शुभ्र बर्ण is dear to Mahadeva. So, white clothing and offering of white flowers is good. Dress in ethnic wear if you can, like dhoti or saree. First, offer Namaskara to Nandi Deva with some Bilwa Patra and flowers. State your desire and respect for him and Shiva in his ears.
Strike the bell or Mandira Ghanti. It is like calling bell or doorbell of his house :-)
After bowing down, offer the first prayer to Lord Ganesha. Because Mahadeva has given him the Prathama Pujya (First to be worshipped before any Puja) power. He will take away any hurdles to your worship and make your prayers or intentions successful.

I assume you know the meaning of the mantra, if not, put in comments if you do want me to add the meaning. Knowing correct pronunciation as well as the meaning of the Mantra is necessary.
Then proceed first to offer your prayer devotion to Shiva, then Parvati, then both of them together. Start with a Shiva Dhyana Mantra. It does the ice breaking and connecting part.

Vallonne Vineyards Pvt. Guests can also purchase wine bottles of their choice before departing from this must-visit destination. A wine tour followed by a delicious lunch at the hotel is highly recommended for an overall outstanding experience at Vallonne Vineyards Pvt. Ltd.
We stayed at the vineyard for 3 days and had an amazing experience! After having travelled for 3 weeks in India, it was the perfect place to relax. The vineyard is in a beautiful area, full of nature and lakes. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very attentive and really going the extra mile. Food in the restaurant is very good. A wine tasting was included in the booking, and we were impressed by the quality of the wines and the knowledge of vineyard staff! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place!

Good food, great outdoor seating. One major problem was that there were lot of flies in and around us (where we were sitting outdoors) and these were also hovering around our food. When we asked the staff to do something about it, we were sent a glass of mint leaves to our table which apparently was supposed to care of the flies problem, but sadly didn't work much.
All they need to do is get a good size fly killing machine and install it outdoors... this will be the end to the flies problem which overall made the entire food experience, I must say Disgusting...

Great food especially Thai food. Would also suggest trying drums from heaven which was good too. On the wines side of things, the dessert wine was amazingly good. The whole wines offering is very premium, may seem a bit costly compared to other wineries but the wines are definitely worth it. The most horrible last 2 kms of road, literally swimming pools to cross, the most weird part to me is that being the home to the brand they don't offer wine by the glass. The food is too expensive for it to be a quick thing. The place small and bland to say the least. The wines itself are really good but then you'd be better off buying a bottle from a store and going to a better, more accessible and happening place

Yesterday we went there. We spend nice time. Wine was best food was good. But it was so costly. I think there prices are so high. One dish it was non veg lamb chap dish only four chap 845 it's was so costly.
Please recheck your prices.

Way towards Vallone Vineyards is so beautiful and serene that it has got mountains and lakes on both sides of the road. Upon reservation they offer rooms to stay, a chance to sip their freshly fermented wines and equally taste their food which is appealing in presentation.
You can buy wine bottles of your choice when you leave. A must visit place !!

The place has two paths to access it, one is the scenic route and another through the highway.
Tucked in a cozy estate with a very pleasant view. Food is over priced for what is available. I say this because the items are lacking some ingredients that are hard to get where they are located but they improvise anyways.
The wines are real tasty, the prices of the wine are above MRP but they let you buy them at MRP or with a discount if you are taking multiple home.
A nice little bonus was that i saw a guava tree full of guavas in the estate and I helped myself to one. It was delicious 😋

Too far to reach, navigating bad roads. The room was too small to even say it was comfortable. The only food option was Malaka spice, too costly and one type of taste. The property itself is very small, with no amenities , activities to do.

An outstanding boutique place for stay plus fnb. Just 4 rooms but a picturesque location facing the mountains and the dam waterbody. During monsoons the place will be breathtaking I imagine.
We had a special dinner meet to celebrate my family member’s birthday and Mahesh made it very very special. Well curated wines mostly dry is their signature collection. We had an engaging conversation with wine taster Prabhakar Kale who too us thru the process of their wine making.
Malaka Spice is the restaurant where we spent the evening. The deck overlooking the water body, Valley plus the sundowning is a moment to treasure with a Chardonnay glass in hand. We had our golden moments and thrilled at this amazing discovery. Great pics to share with and here we go!

We have went here for Vineyard your. It was great experience with amazing view!
There are 3 vineyard tour daily where they offer 6 wine tastings at the cost of ₹600/- per person. Timing of the tours are 12 pm, 2 pm & 4 pm.
The guide was having good knowledge about the vine making process and he was friendly.
Around 1 km of patch near to vineyard are in very bad condition.

We stayed at Vallonne Vinyards for one night, in October’23. We had an excellent stay, the rooms were fantastic, very clean and beautiful views to the lake and hills beyond. We experienced a tour and wine tasting, which was hugely insightful and the wines we tasted were excellent. We ate at Malaka Spice (on the same premises) and the food and service was all of a very high standard. Thanks to all the team at Vallonne for making our stay memorable.

Cute boutique winery along a gorgeous setting by a reservoir offering some great views of the vineyard, reservoir and the hills. The last 1km leading up to the property is I paved and a little bumpy. The vintners are passionate and proud about the wines they produce there. They took ample time to explain, answer questions and provide recommendations.
The food at the restaurant was delish too. We sipped some cab sauv with the food and then bought a half dozen bottles to take back. This was my first trip to a winery in India so can’t compare but will definitely be back to this one in the future.

If you are a wine lover and a frequent visiter to different famous vineyards around nashik like Sula or Soma then you must visit this place for an amzing experience. The USP of this place is its fantabulous location unlike other vineyards. It is located on the slopes of the banks of Kavnai lake. You get an awesome view of the dam water and the Kavnai fort range along with the grape plantations on the slopes. They have a nice gallery to enjoy some nice wines with extraordinary food menu along with the view. They have a limited choice of wines but all of them are exotic. And food is something that you should visit this place for.

The road leading to it is rusty. Its a small private place, with worn out name board too. But the food here is great with lots of options. Their wine is also great and the atmosphere and ambiance is very calm and peaceful. They do offer a wine tasting, but we didn’t take that up. People usually come here for the food wine and the peacefulness.

We had a wonderful lunch and tour of the winery in December 2023. The wine tasting by Sanket was exceptional and his passion and knowledge of wine was very evident. We love the South East Asian (plus Indian) food by Malaka Spice. But of course what stands out most is the exceptional wine itself. Visit if you want to try the best Indian wine, and understand the difference between a real boutique winery & the more mass produced wines.

It's one of the underrated Vineyards I'd say.
1. Wine - amazing wine, reasonable price, we tried to varieties of white wine, loved them. Would've loved more if they had sparkling wine too which they don't.
2. Food. Overpriced but great in taste, quantity is decent. We tried 4 dishes, two starters, one noodles and one rice.
3. Ambience - the view is lovely. You get to wine and dine with a lake view and mountains. Even though they have limited seatings
4. Service - amazing service, on time and we'll catered for.
5. Location- outskirts of Nashik, the roads are fine except for last 1 KM stretch.

Gira Waterfalls is a stunning natural wonder located in Gujarat's hill station. This picturesque waterfall is most active during monsoon season, with a large flow of water that attracts visitors from all over. However, it is advisable to visit after monsoon season, preferably in October when the rain has subsided and the waterfall can be enjoyed fully. The area also boasts a shopping market where visitors can purchase unique local crafts and artifacts made of wood.
This is a best location ever i see in any hill station in Gujarat. It's absolutely great. In monsoon there were big flow of water and it's viewable and you must see that time.
There were also shopping market for many good and different things you can buy many things and water is also clean so you can swim also if flow is normal not high

One of the best waterfall in Gujarat. We visited in December and still it has some water and beautiful view.
One need to walk down for 500m around.
There are so many shops on the wat where you can buy handcrafted items. Only thing is they should not allow shops after stairs so it won't block the view from the viewpoint.

Another best and most famous waterfall in dang, gujrat. We have visit this place in last month. It's best in rainy season, so there was so much water in the falls. This is a splendid place to visit during or just after the rains.
No much place for car parking. the way to the falls is very rocky. Lots of sellers will be available on the side on the walkway. Spend a full evening here during the rainy season.

The Gira Water Fall is a great spot to visit in the rainy season, in other sessions there is not enough water. Although there isn't a lot of water during our visit, the location is still wonderful for viewing the beauty of nature, and there are dozens of little food stands where you can buy handcrafted toys from nearby vendors.

Kalsubai Peak
Mountain peak
Nature & Parks
Mountains
1,646-m. summit, the highest in Maharashtra, with popular overnight treks & a temple at the top.
10 years ago you would only find trekking enthusiast, hiking on Kalsubai. But things have changed now. It's more of a picnic spot now. You can expect huge crowds on weekends and bank holidays. People normally plan to camp at the base village and trek to the summit to witness the Sunrise. The downside is you would find plastic (in the form of wrappers, bags, nowadays even masks) at every step of your trek. Quite a sorry state. The 5-star is for the location and no doubt it's amazing as are the other places in the Sahayadri Mountains. Check the pics to get an idea of how the terrain is going to be. There are multiple routes to get to the top, bt the most common one starts from village Bari. Not too sure about the public transport, but if you are getting your own vehicle, there is ample PAID parking in the village. Also you can easily find places serving home cooked food.

कळसूआई । कळसूबाई 🛕महाराष्ट्रातिल सर्वात ऊंच शिखर 🚩 This is been one of bucket list for most of tge trekkers in Maharashtra & across. We have been to Kalsubai trek this winter season for night trek & let me tell you it was a breathtaking experience of lifetime.
Trek starts from base village named as Baari where you can park your vehicles & I would recommend if you are startingat night then please do take local guide with you. During Normal Day time it is manageable. Peak Height is almost 1646 meters from sea level.
Food m/snacks options are available on the way while trekking still its recommended to carry your own essentials as those helpful.
Great sight once you reach at top where you can see AMK, Ratangad fort etc. Sunrise 🌅 from the top is icing on the cake 😊
Lastly please keep area & surrounding neat & clean as it’s each one of us priority🙏🏻

Kalsubai Peak Maharashtra: Kalsubai Peak trek is a very enthralling experience to have fun while trekking and enjoy the enormous landscape view very closely. We started trek 4:30 AM in the morning and reached at the time of sunrise. This trek is coming in moderate level, at an altitude of 1646m /5400 feet without any other connectivity. Recommended time of this trek is raining or winter. Sharing few pictures...

The mother of all Treks .Best time to be at top is between 6 A.M to 7 A.M where you can view scenic sunrise(October to Jan best months to visit). So if you are visiting here prefer a night trek
Steep elevation at some patches but what I think is a person who is engaged in moderate day to day Physical activity can scale the peak easily .Water ,Fruits and other stuff are available while trekking as there are small shops between trails

it was a great fun. Moderate difficult level trek. It takes up to 3 to 4 hour depends on your capability. You can climb up in early morning to watch sunrise. You can stay there near to peak. You can rent a tent from local villagers they also provide you a mat. Wear warm cloths if you are visiting in winter because there can be around 9 degree Celsius on top. Trekking shoes recommended.

The Kalsubai Peak trek offered a mesmerizing experience, especially with the thick fog enveloping the surroundings. Navigating through the mist added an adventurous touch, creating an ethereal atmosphere. Highest Peak of Maharashtra. We can also call it as mount everest of Maharashtra. The trek is little difficult and it takes around 4 hours to reach the peak. U can also get snacks and drinks during the trek as there are small shops. Best time to start the trek is early morning as you can enjoy the sun rise and while the sun is up at your head you will be reaching the bottom base again.

The trek is very adventurous. One side distance is around 6-7km. There are steel ladders in between the trek. During monsoon it is very slippery. The peak will be very cold during monsoon and it will be very windy. You must carry a raincoat. There is greenery all around. It usually takes 3-4 hours to go up and another 3-4 hours to come down. There are many shops selling maggi and other snacks on the way. You must have a good experience before you trek here. It will be difficult for beginners. The main problem is that, there are very few washrooms and changing rooms in the base. The best way to come here is with a guide or with a package. They will have local contacts and you can get access to washrooms. The route to the base camp is also very scenic. At one point, we spotted a leopard. Overall it's a beautiful trek. And yeah, it's the highest point in Maharashtra!!

Being the highest peak in Maharashtra, it takes you through steep climbs, ladders and if you go during dry time, expect a lot of dust. During rainy season, I believe it would be more slippery.
It feels that we are so close to the summit but this peak deceives everyone like a horizon. It takes an average person around 4+ hours to reach the summit. I recommend getting your body conditioned prior to the climb. Cheers!!

Pretty decent trek, not too difficult if you exercise regularly and have endurance. With decent speed you can reach the top within 2-3 hours. Some patches have iron ladders which provide convenient way to get to the peak. There is a temple of goddess Kalsu aai at the peak. Try to reach the top before sunrise to get spectacular views.

Kalsubai Peak, nestled in the Sahyadri range, is Maharashtra's highest point, offering breathtaking views and a thrilling trekking experience. Best visited post-monsoon, as it gets slippery during heavy rains, and in winter, it can be chilly. During summer, the ascent can be hot and strenuous. The trek rewards adventurers with panoramic vistas and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit, where the Kalsubai temple stands, honoring the mountain's deity. It's a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers seeking an exhilarating adventure in the Western Ghats.
Night trekking to Kalsubai Peak offers a unique and enchanting experience, with a climbing time of approximately 3 hours. The cooler temperatures and the illuminated sky add to the adventure, creating a magical ambiance. However, it's essential to ensure proper safety measures, including adequate lighting and appropriate gear. Additionally, familiarity with the trail is crucial for navigating in the dark. Night treks to Kalsubai Peak are recommended for experienced trekkers.
From the summit of Kalsubai Peak, trekkers are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On one side, the majestic Bhandardara Dam sparkles in the distance, reflecting the sunlight during the day and creating a serene vista. On the other side, the rugged peaks of Alang, Madan, and Kulang stand tall, forming a dramatic silhouette against the horizon. The sight from Kalsubai Peak is truly awe-inspiring, offering trekkers a moment of tranquility and appreciation for the natural beauty of the Western Ghats.

Sula Vineyards is nice when visited during monsoons or winters. They have open as well as covered parking. The entry fee for weekends is Rs 1000 per adult. No entry fee for children at least upto age of 13. The fee is a cover charge and can be used to buy food and wine inside. They have a nice path to take a walk around to see the place and click a lots of pictures however if you are visiting with a toddler, I recommend you get your stroller along. They have a golf cart or buggy but that is only for the ones who are staying at their hotel. The tour was okay as all that was showed to us was the storage containers and a lot of theory. We enjoyed the wine tasting but if you are a bigger group then I would suggest that you skip it and enjoy the wine on their terrace restaurant using your coupons at your own pace. Food here is not great. I had their pizzas and cheese platter. Cheese platter being the worst. They have other restaurant too. Overall a scenic place, not much to offer than tasty wines.

The resort is beautifully done and upgraded over the years with spacious rooms tastefully done. The staff is very cordial and attentive to the needs of guests. The package includes wine tasting and visit to their brewery which made an interesting trip to understand wine culture which is gaining popularity in India too. The food in their restaurants is delicious and breakfast spread is decent. The pool and outdoor seating during evenings is very relaxing and entertaining particularly as they had musical artists performing melodiously and was spellbinding with a variety of choice of wines and barbeques. A great place to enjoy and relax with family or friends or even couples wanting to enjoy the peace and calm. Will certainly recommend a stay !! Winter months are more preferable to stay

Their wine tasting sessions are quite good and exhaustive. The Wine tasting sessions are improving very fast - this time was even better than the one in Apr 23.
The sourdough sandwiches are something to remember.
Their amphitheatre had an awesome ambience for dinner.
A memorable stay 👌

During my visit to Sula Vineyards last year, I had the pleasure of experiencing the renowned number one vineyard of Nashik. One of the highlights was trying their Zinfandel Rose wine, which was truly mouthwatering. The wine had an amazing taste that was both refreshing and flavorful, leaving a lasting impression. The vineyard's commitment to producing exceptional wines was evident in every sip.
Aside from the exquisite wine, the view from the top restaurant was truly heartwarming. The picturesque surroundings added to the overall ambiance, creating a serene and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable culinary experience, Sula Vineyards offers a perfect blend of stunning views and delectable wines.
From the vineyard's top-notch hospitality to the breathtaking scenery, my visit to Sula Vineyards was nothing short of remarkable. I highly recommend visiting this vineyard for an unforgettable journey into the world of wine, accompanied by breathtaking vistas that will capture your heart.

Lovely tour. The tour guide was very energetic and informative. I had booked a room at their affiliate properties- Beyond and this wine tasting tour was complimentary in it.
Beyond also arranged for a cab for the drop and pickup from the vineyards.
The vineyards were beautiful, hygienic and very interesting. The weather was great and all the wines tasted exclusive and different.
I got to taste 6 different varieties of wine and all of them were unique and exquisite!

Located beyond the midc area at Nashik. Nice cool place with ample green lush. You can tour the process of wine making. The restaurant is good. Good place for photography. The entry charges during weekend is Rs.1000/-, which seems to be high. Other days it is Rs. 600 per head. However, they issue coupon for said amount which can be redeemed for purchase of wine, gift articles, food etc. Overall a nice place to visit.

A really nice place to come and visit if you are a wine lover. I would suggest visiting this place during the cooler months of November to January.
Post Jan if you go to this place that opens only after 11:30 the sun is so hot that it is difficult to explore the outdoor settings and the vineyards that you can otherwise.
The tour of the factory and the wine tasting are absolutely worth every penny that you spend and they are very educational as well.
There is ample amount of parking available here but the shaded parking is only for guests who are staying at their property.
For those only visiting the property you have to park in the hot sun, so be prepared to get into a car that is like an oven once you are back from the vineyards.
Overall it is a good one time visit if you are in Nashik.

Very beautiful place for a day outing. Right from entering the place looks amazing. Completely neat and clean. The restaurant is good, but little expensive. All the wines are sold at MRP, I think if they are prepared there, there should be some discount so that people can buy. Most of the people buys just to cover the charges they have paid at the entrance.
There are cover charges which you need to pay at the time of entry.
Weekdays-600 per person
Weekends-1000 per person
Huge parking space is available which is not chargeable.
Overall nice place to visit with family/gang to have fun and click beautiful pictures.

What an amazing time we had at Sula !!! To see and learn the process of wine making and sampling the varieties was truly a wonderful experience and educational. The vineyard in itself is a beautiful space nestled in a scenic landscape just outside the city of Nashik. With luxury rooms, restaurants, gift shops, and a tasting room to try different wines, Sula Valley is the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Sula wine is often hailed as a must-visit destination, but in my opinion, it falls short of the hype. Their entry fees alone are exorbitant, demanding at least Rs 600 on weekdays and Rs 1000 on weekends, with no exceptions. Although they provide coupons equivalent to the entry fee, the overall cost is still staggering. Paying such a hefty sum for a mere 60 ml wine tasting feels unjustifiable, especially considering the underwhelming quality of their wines. On a positive note, the place boasts picturesque decorations that are sure to entice your camera lens. However, it's worth noting that they charge more than the MRP on their wine bottles. In our case, we ended up paying Rs 1110 instead of the listed Rs 1039 for a single bottle.

Great place to hang out, it close from Nashik about 15 minutes drive, entry is around ₹800 per person and the amount can be redeemed inside the restaurant and bar, though the food is costly and food quality is great. Great place to explore on Weekend with family and friends

What a awesome place to visit. You can have some nice pictures clicked here and can check the wine yard.
The cover charges are 1k per person and the charges for tour of wineyard where they will explain you the process of production of wines and tasting 6 wines is 600 bucks.
But the place is really good specially enjoying the long drive to visit here and an excellent weather will make your mood to love this place 😍

Vineyard with Stunning Views but Uneven Offerings
This winery boasts breathtaking views of vineyards, perfect for a sunny winter day. The entry fee is 600 (adjustable) towards food and shopping, and the staff is helpful with selecting gifts. However, the restaurant's trendy ambiance doesn't quite match the quality of the food, which is average and overpriced. Consider grabbing a bite elsewhere to fully enjoy this scenic spot.
Durgesh Singh — Google review
It is just fine. It is better for only wine lovers or those who wish to try wine for the first time. It costs 1000 per head of which you compulsorily need to spend 600 only on wine. A few incharges at the entry gate were arrogant. The place is only picturesque and nothing much. You can have a tour of the factory and the process of wine making. The food is good taste-wise but otherwise the prices were steep.

Awesome place to enjoy with friends and family, they have a beautiful setup done to attract people. The decor of the place is quite lively and refreshing. You can also enjoy the tour of their brewery and enjoy a selection of 6 wines after the tour in their wine tasting. They have a restaurant on the first floor which has a good assortment of food to compliment their wine.the food might seem a little overpriced but overall it is a good place to enjoy and relax with your family.

Do not visit on weekends they charge ₹1000 per person. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and insta-worthy. But Not worth it for non-alcoholic people.
They give you two types of coupons which you can spend on wine, tour&tasting, gift shop and Food in the vineyard itself.
However we can only buy wine with 1 type of coupon which makes it compulsory to buy wine to make our money worth it.
The other coupon is insufficient because it's applicable on almost everything including food.

This place is good for spending some time if in Nashik.
We went in morning around 11ish and it was already crowded.
They have various photo booths and points where good pictures can be taken.
Entry fees is 600/- per person on weekdays and 1000/- on weekends and they can be used in the restaurants inside.
You can pay for winery tour also where they show how wines are made and wine tasting too.
The restaurant has really good trendy vibes but is certainly overpriced and the stuff isn’t that good.
They have in campus hotel to stay called the Source.

The pandavleni caves are a prime attraction of tourists even foreigners. These are the caves where Pandavs held shelter during their vanvas in the age of Mahabharata. There are around 20 caves here. They have inscriptions on caves. Also there are ancient made sculptures in them. It is a proof of our divine and great history.
Tushar Patil — Google review
The caves, known as Trirashmi Buddhist Caves (erroneously known as Pandav Caves) were carved out from the 1st century BCE until the 3rd century CE, with later additions of sculptures.[5] They were paid for by local Buddhist royalty, merchants and local people for the Buddhist monks. The name is derived from the word "Tiranhu" which is inscribed in the Caves.[6][7] It means "rays of sunlight" which is quite obvious referring to the rays of sunlight emerging from behind the Caves as seen from the village. These caves were carved and donated by various kings that ruled Nashik - The Satavahanas, The Nahapanas, The Abhirs. The caves lodge idols of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Some caves are intricately connected by stone-cut ladders that join them to the other caves. Steps lead to the caves from the bottom of the hill. The peak of the Trirashmi Caves is also accessible by trekking of about 20 mins but the path is well built with steps.[8]

The Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir Vedic Puja Spiritual center is a 19th-century Hindu temple in Panchavati, Nashik dedicated to Lord Rama. The black statues of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lakshman are housed within its walls.

There are some renovations going on in the temple but it does not effect the travellers.

The history of this temple is old. Sardar Rangrao Odhekar during 17th century once had a dream that Ram Lalla's black idol is submerged somewhere in Godavari River. He started a search mission and fortunately found the idol and that's how this modern day temple was built around 1790's.
The ambience around the temple is serene and vibes are very positive.

Kalaram Mandir is a splendid testament to devotion and architectural mastery. Nestled in the heart of Nashik, this temple dedicated to Lord Sri Rama stands out as one of the finest examples of Maratha craftsmanship. Constructed with intricate black stone carvings, it exudes an aura of grandeur and spirituality.
Stepping into the temple premises, visitors are greeted with a sense of tranquility and reverence. The meticulous detailing on the temple walls and pillars is awe-inspiring, reflecting the rich heritage of the Maratha Dynasty. It's evident that every corner of the temple has been crafted with utmost care and devotion.
The history behind Kalaram Mandir adds another layer of significance to its allure. Built by the illustrious Maratha Dynasty King Bajirao Peshwa in the 17th Century, it stands as a symbol of his deep reverence for Lord Sri Rama. The temple's association with such historical figures enriches its cultural value and attracts pilgrims and history enthusiasts alike.
Legend has it that the construction of the temple faced numerous challenges, yet through unwavering faith and determination, it was completed, marking it as a triumph of devotion over adversity. Overall, Kalaram Mandir offers a serene sanctuary for spiritual seekers and admirers of art and history alike. Its architectural splendor and sacred ambiance make it a must-visit destination in Nashik, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the privilege of experiencing its magnificence.
Kalaram Mandir stands not only as a testament to architectural brilliance but also as a symbol of resilience and social justice. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's satyagraha for the rights of untouchable people to worship at the temple adds another layer of significance to its historical narrative.
In the early 20th century, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a champion of social reform and equality, led a satyagraha to challenge the discriminatory practices barring untouchable people from entering Kalaram Mandir to worship Lord Sri Rama. His courageous act of nonviolent resistance aimed to break down barriers of caste prejudice and ensure equal rights for all individuals, regardless of their social status.
Despite facing vehement opposition and hostility from entrenched societal norms, Dr. Ambedkar remained steadfast in his conviction and commitment to justice. His satyagraha at Kalaram Mandir echoed the principles of Mahatma Gandhi's nonviolent resistance, resonating with the spirit of the Indian freedom movement.
Dr. Ambedkar's satyagraha ultimately paved the way for significant reforms, contributing to the broader struggle against caste discrimination and inequality in India. His unwavering dedication to the cause of social justice continues to inspire generations, reaffirming the timeless values of compassion, equality, and dignity for all.
The legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's satyagraha at Kalaram Mandir serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing quest for a more inclusive and equitable society. It highlights the power of peaceful resistance in effecting positive change and underscores the enduring relevance of his vision for a just and compassionate world.

Sunset Point in Saputara is a breathtaking destination that offers a truly unforgettable experience. As the name suggests, this spot is famous for the spectacular views of the sun setting over the Western Ghats, which creates a stunning display of colors across the sky.
The view from Sunset Point is simply breathtaking, with the surrounding hills and valleys bathed in golden light as the sun sets. Visitors can take in the scenery while relaxing on the benches provided, or opt for a more active experience by taking a short hike to the point.
What's great about Sunset Point is that it is easily accessible and offers something for everyone. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply someone who appreciates stunning views, this spot is sure to leave you feeling awe-inspired.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Sunset Point in Saputara. It's a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the area, and offers a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a family outing, Sunset Point is sure to be a highlight of your trip.

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable.
It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.
Rock Buddy — Google review
Pls don't go there by rope way. Pls don't waste your time & money to come here as Govt Construction work is in progress at present. After reaching at the opposite end, there is restriction to go out. You will not be allowed to go till Sunset point. They are running rope way only to benefit few food stalls here. There is no point visiting here till the time construction is over. They should actually stop running rope way business tilln construction is over. Tourists are misguided.
If you want to visit sunset point, go by road till Toran Ambika hotel of Gujarat tourism. There is parking available at this place. From here you can go by walking to sunset point. But this is advised for those only who can walk on steep heel.
Jagdish Thadani — Google review
Beautiful place to visit and use Ropway to reach there.
Shahid Ahmad — Google review
If you reach there, it is amazing but first you have to reach there. There is a inclined climbing of atleast a km before you reach the top. BTW if you want to go to trolley, this is the same way. Cars are stopped below and then a inclined walk of almost a km to reach the top.
You can take a small self driven scooter for 100/- to reach the top and Rs.50/- if you want to come down on it.
It is a good point and worth to go. Be fit and save money.

The Sunset Point is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Saputara, offering a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the lush green hills. The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station.
The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Additionally, there are a few benches and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the view at your leisure.
Overall, the Sunset Point in Saputara is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to this beautiful hill station. The stunning view of the sunset and the tranquil surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and relax in the midst of nature.

Could reach there only after the sunset. Even at that time, the view was really good. You have to cover around 1 km by foot to reach the top. There is provision for bike rental which costs around 150 to and fro. Construction work was going on when I went.

Saputara Lake is a serene man-made reservoir that offers plenty of opportunities for recreation, including boating and relaxing in tree-shaded areas. The lake is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and provides a clean environment for visitors to enjoy. There are several food stalls nearby where one can grab a quick meal or snack, as well as hotels in close proximity to the lake.
🌄 Lake + Garden + Boating ⛵
✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗
🌄 At sunset, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting ✨, and you'll find the lake view to be particularly captivating. It's a great time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. 🌌

Saputara Lake is the heart of Saputara. Mainly Pedal boats are there, and normal boats are also available. We took the pedal boat as they were in a better condition.
Timing is from 8am to 7pm
I will suggest visiting the lake in the morning (if u have a single day trip) to avoid the harsh sun. During the evening we mostly visit to see the sunset so it will not be manageable, better to go in morning itself.
But if u have 2 evenings then go boating on 1st evening as Lake during evening is mesmerizing!
Charges are fixed around 100 per head
There are many small shops for refreshments around boating ticket counter where you can try lemon soda, tea etc. Kids games and entertainment is available over here.
(2 seater decorated cycle for adults is preferable to ride here as compared to table point, since the road is plain in Boating club area.)

It's one of unique museums in the country. It's the only gem, mineral and fossil museum and the biggest in the world by an individual privately. It's a wonderful place for the subject experts and students in the related field. It's organized in a wonderful way, maintained beautifully and asthetically in the best manner. Of course, it's visited by many but I have doubts, whether people from other areas of Maharashtra and other states are visiting it. This place needs to be visited to know the beauty of earth and geographic wonders for the laypersons as well for the geology students. Staff is knowledgeable and cooperative to give all the information.

* Well curated & preserved collection of numerous minerals, rare metals, fossils and other things. A must visit place for families, friends while visiting Nashik.
* The guide was well Trained and had a lot of knowledge about the minerals but he kept standing too close to us and it was deliberate. He made us uncomfortable with his behavior. This made our overall experience very bad even though we liked the collection very much. Management should take some action against him.

These stones and minerals are collections from various places from India and around the world. There's also a gift shop in the museum. The museum has visitors from different countries. One of its kinds of mineral musium. They have a very good collection of minerals, most of them are becoming rare today because of different techniques used in mining and construction. Entry fee is Rs 100 per head but they provide a free guide to explain to you about the collection. They also have a gift shop where you can buy genuine stores and handicraft items. If you want to learn geology and rock formations, it is really good. Their collection is amazing.
Rocks from moon and Mars is inspiring to see in India.
Pyrite iron ore and fossils of Indian dynasour is mind boggling.
But I think the guide needs to slow down. In order to complete it in one hour (I don't know why the hurry) he was rambling words and he himself was not able to understand or answer questions.
They need to explain some words either in charts or video format so that students can take notes and also remember things.

Don Hill station in Gujarat is a spectacular destination for day trips, offering breathtaking panoramic views of lush green mountains during the monsoon season. It serves as an ideal spot for picnics due to its outstanding scenery and 360-degree vistas. However, amenities are scarce, making it advisable to bring your own food and beverages for long visits. With no nearby accommodations, it is best suited for day tours only. Hopefully, future development will enhance this location with improved facilities for dining and lodging.
It is highest peak of ahwa. Very pleasant atmosphere. Last eight km route is enough wide and little riskier so take care during driving. Tea and chips are available in local village. Better to go in monsoon or in winter.

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

Darshan costs INR 200, while the morning aarti, known as the Kakada aarti, costs INR 600. The charge for the midday, evening, and night aarti sessions is INR 400. All devotees have access to both free and paid darshan. Darshan booking is now possible online. Devotees can purchase Seva Tickets at the Temple Counter or online. Thursday is considered the Baba's day and is the busiest, from morning to dusk.
The temple has organised the Q system well , and takes very minimal time to do darshana. Temple premises are kept clean and neat. They also have "Prasadalaya" which is walkable distance from the temple , They have a website for more information and to book different services offered by the temple. I'm falling short of words to admire Sai Baba inside the temple, i would recommend you to opt for one of their baba Aarti services from the website.

The Sai Baba temple is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with long lines of worshippers waiting for their turn to seek Sai Baba's blessings. The temple is open overnight for certain occasions such as Guru Purnima, Dussera, and Rama Navami.

OM Sai Ram - Spiritually inspiring and the place has some energy. However during this trip was harassed by lot of beggar's some of them were high on alcohol - drugs and some begging in spite of having no disability. The security was missing and they were probably hand in glove with these elements. Unfortunately this is a government run institution and it would probably not change even if i put this review.

My only concern for which i am posting this review is with regard to the BLOOD DONATION .I had donated My blood this morning looking at the free VIP entry mentioned for blood donars . After getting my blood donation certificate i straight went to gate 02 for vip entry , upon reaching the gaurd said there is no entry from here , you need to go to gate 06 which is a paid darshan gate. Its really disappointing and misleading where on the banner it mentioned FREE VIP ENTRY and the donars are routed to gate 06 .I was on empty stomach and wanted to skip the long queue after the blood donation . Appreciate and request to change the term FREE VIP ENTRY for FREE PAID DARSHAN against BLOOD DONATION . With SAI BABA'S blessings i was able to get through the queue and get his darshan .

Dwarkamai is a sacred destination for devotees of Sai Baba in Shirdi, India. This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. The temple's atmosphere brims with divine happiness that visitors can feel as they step inside. Dwarkamai houses a rock that Sai Baba used to sit on, making it an important part of his legend.
Dwarka temple is a very nice place. Where there is a crowd of devotees. Devotees come here to fulfill their wishes. Devotee Shri Sai Baba fulfills their wishes. Fills the bags of his devotees with happiness.

It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.
Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba's devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.

The village is 35 kilometres from the city of Ahmednagar. Wikipedia.
The Shri Ghrushneshwar Mandir is an intricately carved 18th-century Hindu temple made of red stone that is dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is considered one of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and features carvings of all Vishnu Avatars on its shikhar. The temple is located in an underdeveloped area with low crowds, allowing for quick pooja, abhishek, and darshan visits.
The 12 th Jyotirlinga, one of holiest site of Hindu, just nearby Unesco World Heritage site - the Ellora cave. Temple periphery needs a lot of face lifts like paving marble , painting, demolishing saggy stalls of local vendors. Cleaniness seems very poor. Grishneshwar temple, Aurangabad Overview
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grishneshwar Temple located in Ellora is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Also known as Ghrneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple, this Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered an important pilgrimage site. Grishneshwar is the smallest of the Jyotirlingas and is considered the last or the 12th Jyotirlinga of India.
Entry to the Grishneshwar Temple is open to all, but to enter the Garbhagriha (the main sanctum housing the Shiva Linga), men need to be bare-chested. This is also one of the only Jyotirlingas in India where the devotees can touch the Shiva Linga with bare hands.
The temple architecture follows a South Indian Style and it is known to be one of the holiest places to visit in Aurangabad. The five-tiered shikhara of the Grishneshwar Temple is spectacularly carved and constructed in the traditional temple architecture style. Rebuilt several times, the current form temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century

One of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Developments are not that much in the area and even Temple also. Place is not much crowded so we can offer Pooja, Abhishek and Darshan in short time. Curved all Vishnu Avatars on Temple Shikhar. Person must take off his Shirt and Undershirts if wants to visit Garbgruh that can be kept outside of temple/Garbgruh. Devices like Camera, Mobile are not allowed inside the premises as photography is strictly prohibited there. Temple is covered with boundry wall, so even you can't take complete pictures from outside. Private mobile locker facility is also available outside temple, Rs.10 for one mobile.

Grishneshwar Temple locates in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. It is one of the favourite lists of 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva. The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga is about 3000 years old and faces east of the lingam. The Grishneshwar temple timings are 5 AM to 9 PM.
In the sanctum sanctorum are Grishneshwar and his wife, Ghrishneshwari. The Grishneshwar Temple is also an excellent example of pre-historic architectural style and has beautiful carvings. Devotees can see the wedding scene of God and his wife in the temple murals and carvings.

As soon as the queue ends and we enter temple, males need to remove the upper body clothes. i.e., shirt and vest and tie around waist and then only enter. Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated all over India. It is also known as Ghraneshwar or Ghushmeshwar Temple.
This temple is about 31 km away from the main city. It is located in a Verul city, a city which is known for a very famous Ellora caves. These caves are just a 1 km away from this temple.
The old temple structure was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in 13th and 14th-century. It was re-constructed by Maloji Raje Bhosale, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and later again by the Queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.

The most devine place I experienced in my life.
Honestly, I was experiencing a divine light in my heart for almost three days. I heared that, a jyotirling touches you at your AAGYAA CHAKRAA if you have a devotion at your heart and, veryfirst time I experienced it at my personal level.
My temple experience was amazing. I was there for two complete days and performed Rudrabhishek also. Honestly I can say this is one among a few places where you may not feel cheated at any level. They allow bhakts to go directly in the garbh-grih to touch the jyotirlinga and perform pooja. For interested devotees, Rudrabhishek pooja is also available which is performed by 11 ved-paathi brahmans for almost an hour. Which gives a total divine experience if you are a true devotee. The crowd is limited and you do not need to wait in a lond queue. Anyone can expect to finish his pooja maximum within 30 mins.
Brahmins are so honest and gentlemen that I felt worthy to touch their feet and also to take their blessings. They do not demand any money at any level. You can stay within the premises and in temple as per your wish.
Outside the temple, flower vendors and mobile lockers are available because leather things like belt, wallet, and mobile phones are not allowed. These vendors charge just 5 Rs to keep these all things safely.
One more tradition, that a male person needs to remove his upper body clothes while darshan. Ladies are not bounded with any such rules and this is because of following the old tradition.
In Ghrishneshwar only any one may find an economic home stay within the range of Rs. 600/- to 1200/-.
Sambhajinagar is the nearest famous city to this place. Along with darshan of Jyotirling, you can also take the darshan of "BHADRA MARUTI" in Khultabaad and world famous heritage site ELLORA. In Ellora, Kailash Temple is made with single stone which is worth watching.
At the last, I would suggest everyone to visit this Jyotirling at least once in life time. Specially who are having LEO as their jodiac sign.
Jai Shree Ram
Har-Har Mahadev💐

I have good experience from the temple. No day light robbery with us there. We kept our mobile phones at prashad shop at then entered the temple due to noon aarti we waited there in queue
For 40 minutes, before entered in Garbhgrih we took off our upper clothes of body due to the temple rules which is for male. The day was Crowded but no rush in Garbhgriha, we took good time their.
It's not necessary for male to wear dhoti for worship there but don't wear clothes upper part of body.

Excellent experience. Magnificent structures and views all around. Locals are really not helpful and give all false information. There are a total of 34 caves among which I felt Cave 16 which is the centre one as soon as we enter and Cave 29 which is a bit far are excellent. For cave 16, If you are fit enough try to climb the hill for the top view. En route to Cave 29, you will get a waterfall and the view is really amazing. Even though this is inside, Cave 29 is huge make sure you don't miss it.

These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Ellora, with its uninterrupted sequence of monuments dating from A.D. 600 to 1000, brings the civilization of ancient India to life. Not only is the Ellora complex a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit but, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.

The Kailasa Temple is a monolithic temple that is carved out of a single rock and is one of the largest and most complex rock-cut temples in the world. The Buddhist caves are also notable for their beautiful sculptures, and the Jain caves are the smallest group of caves, but they are still worth visitingI highly recommend visiting the Ellora Caves if you are interested in rich Indian history and culture. They are a truly amazing sight that you will never forget.

Absolutely loved it here.
Contrary to what I had known earlier, this place is HUGE. There are 34 caves with many having A & B, plus there are caves above the waterfall next to cave 29 that no one visits, but I loved the solitude there. Look out for the Ganesh statue in orange in my pictures.
If you are in good shape and want to spend a good 6 hours (not 2 or 3), Ellora is the place to visit, especially if the weather cooperates.
I walked along the golf cart road till Cave 34, and then took the trail from 34 down.

The caves are quite ancient and well preserved with time. The cave right in front of the entrance is really big and beautiful. There's much to explore inside. Many takes are depicted there in the form of rock carvings. Other caves are not as beautiful and attractive as the one at the main entrance. One can go and pay a visit if they really have the capacity and time to roam around under bright sun during day.

Must visit this place with your family and friends. It is very important to know our culture and history. I prefer wearing shoes and caps as there is lots of walking.
Washrooms are available. Almost a whole day is required to visit all the caves. Tour guides are also available there. Ample parking is also available. There are restaurants, shops for souvenirs, eatables, etc. Caves are at distance so there is a lot of walking. There are e-vehicles available at ₹30 per person who has a waiting list so it's time taking. Water bottles, drinking water taps are also available. You can carry eatables inside as well. There are small restaurants and souvenir shops outside the main entrance.

Ellora Caves in Maharashtra are really cool! They're like super old rock-cut temples from a long time ago, and they have carvings of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist stuff. The Kailasa Temple is huge and amazing. It's a must-visit if you're into history and cool architecture!

A Marvelous Journey Through Time
I recently visited Ellora Caves, and it was an awe-inspiring experience that transported me back in time. The intricate rock-cut architecture and the sheer scale of the caves left me breathless.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail in each cave are remarkable. From the majestic Kailash Temple to the beautifully adorned sculptures in the other caves, every corner tells a story of India's rich cultural and artistic heritage.
The site is well-maintained, and the efforts to preserve these ancient wonders are evident. The informative signage provided valuable insights into the historical significance of each cave, making the visit not only visually stunning but also educational.
The serene surroundings added to the overall charm of the place, making it a perfect destination for history enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.
The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend Ellora Caves to anyone visiting the region. It's a must-visit destination that showcases the brilliance of Indian architecture and artistry.
I look forward to revisiting Ellora Caves and exploring more of its hidden treasures.

It seems there might be a typo or a misunderstanding. There's no well-known place called "Elora Cave." However, there is a place called the "Ellora Caves" in India. Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable rock-cut architecture, featuring Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain cave temples and monasteries.
Special E- vehicle available for long travel at 30 rupees per person.
At least 3-4 hours required for full exposure.

Ellora caves is one of the good examples for architecture students to study and understand the ancient ways of building great remarkable designs and their thoughts with any modern technology and techniques.
I observed lord Buddha idols on the right and lord Shiva idols on the left, there should be some inner reason to design in this way. One of the good things I found is they are storing water all over the place during rain. We could also see their rain water harvesting.
wheelchair accessible is there for people who can't walk.
EV vehicles are also there connecting all the places inside.

Unbelievable! It's an absolute architecture wonder and mind boggling place.. a must visit for every India to realise how advanced we were in ancient times. The beauty of Shive temple is incomparable. We all were stunned.

Start from the middle temple where all the scriptures of Hindu God can be seen. Then head towards the right for the best view, where you can see Buddhist status with an old school-like structure with a waterfall from the above. On the left again you can see the Hindu god statues. As usual go with family and enjoy the atmosphere, You must go in the winter or rainy season.
Panchakki, also known as the water mill, is a must-see attraction in Aurangabad. This site provides insight into medieval science and technology while offering stunning views of its surroundings. It was built to supply water through underground pipes from a nearby tributary and generate energy to grind grains for pilgrims visiting the Baba Shah Musafir Dargah. Panchakki is a popular destination in Aurangabad, alongside other significant sites.
The buddhist temple Aurangabad caves are a fantastic attraction in the city of Aurangabad. The complex of 12 caves was carved out of soft basalt rock and date back to 6th or 7th century AD. The Ajanta caves, one of the most popular attractions in the complex, are a magnificent structure that depicts different stages of Lord Buddha. The cave is also a UNESCO world heritage site and is safe for children to visit.
Nice place neat and clean.. good place for meditation... But kindly book a personal vehicle otherwise you will walk 2.5~3 km at the time of returning....

A must visit place as Ellora Caves are world famous Heritage sites in India. Very calm and quite although some of the statues are destroyed but a must visit place in life time. Best time visit this area / place is during winter (Nov to Feb) as climate will be awesome. Suggested to visit first in the morning as you will require to spend at least 3 hours to complete. Parking is available outside and there are entry fees and if you are late, there will be lot of rush. A best place for kids to explore !

The climb is worth the view... the caves are stinky due to stagnant water, but there is not much to see just a buddha statue and a few beautiful carvings on the walls. Locals just visit the place to chill as the view is soooo amazing. Need to have your own transport or it gets a little difficult to get something back to the city.

Located on a hill, there are twelve caves. Some are not accessible though. Most are Buddhist shrines but also display Goddess Durga and God Ganesh. Not much visited by tourists, it is very peaceful and offers a beautiful view of the city of Aurangabad.

The place is so beautiful and calming, the people who work there are good at their job and helpful.
They have good maintenance of the outside area of the caves.
But the government should know and understand that these historical monuments are precious and need to be taken care of. These monuments give each city an identity and thus give value to our nation.
The caves are not at all maintained from the inside, It smells dirty and also the walls are getting more dirty and infectious. There are statues of Our supreme Buddha which are not properly maintained and there are no rules for visitors to showcase respect towards those statues.
People who take photographs are so disrespectful towards the place and statues.
I think people should learn to show some respect towards our monuments which showcase our history.

Very interesting place!
There's an open ground at the base of the hill, so ample parking available. There's a washroom before you start climbing the hill, no facilities in the caves, so be mindful.
The caves sit atop the hill, the stairs lead to them. The panaromic view of the city from the top is gorgeous.
Like all rock cut places, this cave also has a calming, chill feel to it. The caves are not lit, so the main attraction - the massive Buddha statue with the disciples - sits in dark. I'd have really appreciated if there were a few guides who'd explain the carvings on the walls. Some of them did get spike my curiosity.
Clearly, there's been a lot of patch work done to make it tourist friendly. But nonetheless, it's a nice place to visit and spend a couple of hours.

Buddha Leni caves is a very good example of Indian history and mythology melting together. The caves which have been reported are supposed to be used by the pandavas during their exile. The Buddhist meditation centre at the foot of the hill is also worth a visit. It takes almost 1 hour for climbing the stairs and return. Overall I can say it's a very peaceful place. Historical place with preserved sculptures. Although there is no guide but you can identify the history of the site by the sculptures encarved on the stones. While climbing upward to the site you will be seeing more than 100 Buddha statues on the way. It has quite a nice view from top. You can take stairs or the road to go half way up. It has 2 cabes and one big domb like place. The details of the sculptures can be seen using a torch. The main sculpture is damaged a bit but still is in good condition.

Aurangabad Cave Temple. Jesus, Mohammed were not born yet. India was home to pure Indians. They follow the teachings of Hinduism , Buddhism and Jainism, three of the world's oldest religions. The mythology of those days described 'Devgiri' as the abode of the gods. The muni sages of the three religions lived in the beautiful coniferous forest of that beautiful mountain. It is written in the Shiva Purana that sometimes even Mahadev himself used to visit that land. In harmony with all religions, the mountains used to chant Sanskrit and Pali verses. The Buddhist caves of Aurangabad are contemporary with Ellora and Ajanta, but how much do we know about them? In Devgiri (Aurangabad) our ancestors built twelve stone-cut Buddhist temples on a hill extending from east to west near the city. The hill is also formed from volcanic lava, but experts say the Aurangabad Buddhist caves were excavated from relatively soft basalt rock in the 6th and 7th centuries. The Great Chaitya Cave Inscription of Kanheri Cave mentions Aurangabad Cave. Of the 12 caves, caves numbered 1-6 are named the "Western Group", 7-9 the "Eastern Group" and the three unfinished caves 10-12 the "Northern Cluster". Cave number 4 among them is Chaitya Stupa. The caves hidden in the green hills are beautiful to see from a distance. The architectural styles of the Aurangabad caves include deities and stupas of the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana architectural styles. In some of the Buddhist caves, you can find statues of several Hindu deities including Durga, Ganesha, as well as numerous Tantric Buddhist deities. When I saw the seven matrika idols in the Vajrayana cave, I first thought they were Hindu idols, but later I heard that they were Tantric Buddhist goddesses.
The caves are not very big in size, a bit dilapidated and maybe neglected as comparatively few tourists visit. Carved in the Sihyachal range, the Aurangabad caves may have been somewhat overshadowed by the influence of the great names of the Ellora and Ajanta cave temples. Although its sculptures are comparable to those of Ajanta and Ellora. The cave temples of Aurangabad, carved between the 6th and 7th centuries, are located about nine kilometers from Aurangabad city centre.
Must visit place along with Ajanta and Ellora caves.

Aurangabad caves are situated just outskirts of the hustling city noise and few kms from mini taj - bibi ka maqbara.
This 12 caves are carved from basalt rocks and it’s divided in 3 sub groups. Among them are some nice chaitya style of caves. Some have nice sculptures of Hindu god and goddesses. Worth to visit. Also you can spot some nice birds here. Closed at 6 pm. So better to start accordingly. It will take more than one hote to explore all caves. Western caves are little higher than others.

Reaching the caves is difficult. For seeing the caves, one has to do stiff climb on stairs of considerable heights. Very difficult for aged persons. Moreover, there seems to be no or very little care for the artefacts. Most of the caves are dark as neither natural nor artificial lighting exist.

Around 6 KM from Aurangabad Central Bus Stand. There are around 10 caves. 5 caves are in one side and the other 5 caves around a km away. Best time to visit is early in the morning. For caves 1 to 5 need to climb around 70.steps and as you go up the sound of birds welcome you. As is it less touristy compared to Ellora and Ajanta it's the best caves I prefer eventhough it does not have the grandeur of Ajanta or ellora.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum in Rabia-Ul-Daurani's memory, built by Aurangzeb in the mid 1600s. The building has a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. The carvings on the facade and around the grounds are worth taking note of.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

In day time it looks beautiful but not as good as it looks at night. Entry closes ends at 9pm. Good big paid parking available nearby. Reasonable Entry Fees of Rs.25 and if you are carrying a digital camera then additional Rs.25 for the camera. Mobile shooting is allowed and it's free. Historically valued, but not maintained well. Everywhere people feel the need to take dramatic poses and snaps. Kids running around, standing/leaning on parapets. It spoils the entire aura of the place and shows the utter disrespect we Indians, as a society, have for historically significant monuments.

Visited this place on 15th Aug, 2023, i.e. Public Holiday. So there was a huge crowd, really, very heavy crowd, as it was the time of monsoon too.
Important points:
•> There is a huge crowd, primarily compromising of the local peoples, but there is only one ticket counter, and about 500 m long line. Quite disappointing. So it's a good decision to pay online through QR code beside the ticket counter. They give ₹5 discount if paid online. So the ticket which usually costs Rs. 25, costs Rs. 20, and you save time.
•> There are huge parks around, to wonder and spend time with your closed ones. Also the mountains all around give a wholesome vibe. There is a small temple on one of the peak with a big indian flag which looks so damn beautiful.
•> You will not take much time to visit this place completely. It can be completed in 1 hour if you have other plans too. Like visiting the soneri mahal, which is at little distance from this place. Google map can help if you decide to walk.
•> Kindly control your children as the railings on the side of the platform of maqbara is not very strong, so sitting on them is prohibited too. Beware of falling on stairs due to the crowd.
Don't pollute the place kindly. Be responsible and enjoy.

It's more like the Taj than you'd expect. There are beautiful gardens on all sides - shaded and quiet.
Be sure to get a view of the monument from the back. Not sure if the marble and plaster have stayed whiter or the light hits it differently - but it is even more etheral and beautiful.
Prepare for it to be hot, though some part of the monument itself offers shade at all times of day.

The Ajanta Caves, dating back to the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, are adorned with intricate designs and religious artwork. These caves are situated along a steep gorge that borders the Waghore River. Among the various caves, five serve as prayer halls while others act as dwellings. While early Buddhist caves represent Buddha through symbols such as footprints and wheels of law, those from around the 5th century AD follow Mahayana practices.
This is one of great tourist site in India. Caves, painting and carvings are simply beautiful. You will feel proud about our ancestors and the marvelous art they have left behind in our reach heritage. One must spend enough time in each of 30 caves to understand beauty of the place. Cave 2, adjacent to Cave 1, is known for the paintings that have been preserved on its walls, ceilings, and pillars. It looks similar to Cave 1 and is in a better state of preservation. This cave is best known for its feminine focus, intricate rock carvings and paint artwork yet it is incomplete and lacks consistency. One of the 5th-century frescos in this cave also shows children at a school, with those in the front rows paying attention to the teacher, while those in the back row are shown distracted and acting.
Cave 2 (35.7 m × 21.6 m) was started in the 460s, but mostly carved between 475 and 477 CE, probably sponsored and influenced by a woman closely related to emperor Harisena. It has a porch quite different from Cave 1. Even the façade carvings seem to be different. The cave is supported by robust pillars, ornamented with designs. The front porch consists of cells supported by pillared vestibules on both ends.
The hall has four colonnades which are supporting the ceiling and surrounding a square in the center of the hall. Each arm or colonnade of the square is parallel to the respective walls of the hall, making an aisle in between. The colonnades have rock-beams above and below them. The capitals are carved and painted with various decorative themes that include ornamental, human, animal, vegetative, and semi-divine motifs. Major carvings include that of goddess Hariti. She is a Buddhist deity who originally was the demoness of smallpox and a child eater, who the Buddha converted into a guardian goddess of fertility, easy child birth and one who protects babies.
The paintings on the ceilings and walls of Cave 2 have been widely published. They depict the Hamsa, Vidhurapandita, Ruru, Kshanti Jataka tales and the Purna Avadhana. Other frescos show the miracle of Sravasti, Ashtabhaya Avalokitesvara and the dream of Maya. Just as the stories illustrated in cave 1 emphasise kingship, those in cave 2 show many noble and powerful women in prominent roles, leading to suggestions that the patron was an unknown woman. The porch's rear wall has a doorway in the center, which allows entrance to the hall. On either side of the door is a square-shaped window to brighten the interior.

Parking to Caves shuttle service is good too. Overall well managed place. Amazing to see how people have built such a huge place 2000 years ago!

UNESCO heritage site. Must visit place. The carving and paintings are good. People can find Jatak katha painted. Public toilets, water dispensers are available. Typically 3 hrs are sufficient to visit all places.

A place to experience the grandeur of the Indian heritage and culture. Mainly dedicated to Buddhism but has the presence of Hinduism and Jainism as well.
Peace and quiet, the feeling of serenity in the caves is something we can only experience and not explain in words.
Foothill restaurant serves good food.
Take at least 2 to 3 hours and be prepared for a walk/climb and opening the shoes repeatedly.
The bus ride is scenic. Recommend hiring the guide provided by the government. They do a good job explaining the caves.

There are in total around 30 caves of which 26 are open to the public. Cave 26 is the best one followed by 1,2. Ajanta is known for the paintings though most of the paintings are not clear. However the statues are in good condition. Overall a must visit place to learn about our history. Ensure you carry enough water with you as it will be a very long walk.

Ajanta Caves is located about 100 km away from Aurangabad. The road is good and you reach the parking where you have to pay Rs 50/- as parking charge and Rs 15/- per head as amenities charge.
From the parking, a bus takes you to the caves where you are charged per head Rs 30/- for A/c and Rs 25/- for regular.
The ticket window to the caves charges Rs 40/- per head and camera is free. Here, you are checked and then can proceed to the caves. There is a cafeteria and also clean restrooms.
There are steps and a ramp to the caves and even a chair lift available(charged extra) for those who can not climb.
The caves are very well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and mostly are temperature controlled. It is advisable to wear easy to remove footwear as nearly in all caves foot wear has to be removed. The paintings are preserved and advisable to have a book explaining which cave has what.
Guide railings are there, and attendants are there for each cave.
The road back is also easy and worth the visit.

Need 4 hours to see all caves. Better to come early morning at 7am to see before the sun gets stronger.
Carry an umbrella or hat and apply lots of sunscreen before visiting. Carry liquids and eatables.
Wear slippers or something that can be easily removed as you will have to remove shoes at every cave.
Beware of monkeys. There is lot of parking.

This place consists of Buddhist caves of around 45 caves. In that around 15 caves are exceptional and worth visit. For complete round trip it's gonna take around 4 hrs. Keep light luggage if u have heavy luggage there is a cloak room after going to the place in the bus. Don't keep any luggage in the shops.

Lovely place, with rich history. Everything is very conveniently located within walking distance of each other. There are steps to climb up and down, elderly please be mindful. The caves with paintings are exquisite. Take a guide to know the details. The guide charges are higher than any other place I’ve been to, so if you don’t take a guide listen to the descriptions in YouTube before coming to see the caves

A wonderful place to visit. 27 Caves. Some are incomplete. The complete caves have excellent statues, paintings, carvings on pillars, doorways ...
The caves are in a semicircle on a range of hills. A stream flows at the base of the hills. It would be very nice to spend an evening during the monsoon here,

It was an amazing experience to visit the historical caves with family. It was crowded due to year end holidays but the ticketing and bus service to the caves was quick. We spent about 2 hrs to visit all the caves.
Some suggestions for improvement -
1. Accept UPI instead of cash for entry and bus tickets .
2. Do not allow hawkers at the parking lot.
3 . Proper sign boards to the bus parking area.

The cave temples of Ellora are real must for the travelers in India. Spectacular carving of gods , fantastic animals , intricate scenes of battles or peaceful Buddhas cover the walls of the dark caves ,creating such a beautiful scenario that it is difficolt to leave the place.

Worth visiting this Marvel from 8th century AD. Try taking the right trail from 1-16 caves and then if you have energy, go for the left wing. Visiting in the morning is better as there would be a smaller crowd. It is very hot during summer. Do carry water, fruits or anything less to keep you hydrated.

A world heritage site by UNESCO and well maintained by ASI. Monsoon or after monsoon is best recommended time to visit. Visitors must remove their shoes before entering the Caves. Good food (paid service) served at hotel in Ajanta Caves premises.

Lovely place to spend a day to go through the caves. Some caves are better preserved than others. Some caves were left incomplete. Stories of Buddhist origin, philosophy and vision are well carved in stones/rocks. A good guide or at least a good guidebook will make the trip more meaningful.
Unique, oval-shaped lake formed by a meteorite impact & surrounded by forest & Hindu temple ruins.
Lonar lake also known as lonar crater is a National Geo heritage site.
It was created by meteorite hitting the earth.
Surrounded by ancient temples glorifies the lake more.
It is around 1.8km in diameter and 150meters in depth.
View point is located outside the lake temple premises where we can get the beautiful view of the entire lake.
Once inside the premises, there are temple stairways and trail road to lead down till the lake.
Entry is free.
Would need almost a day to explore the lake area.

Nice one day trek both ways up to the base of the lake and back. The lake itself is a natural wonder of the world - the largest crater lake and the largest crater from basalt rock. There are fresh water streams around the salt water lake with no explanations of their origin. Great old architecture mandirs dot around the lake. The flora and fauna around the lake are special as well as they form their own closed ecosystem.

Lonar Lake is one of the best sites to visit in Maharashtra and you can call it one of the wonders of India. Lonar is one of the lakes in the world formed due to the impact of a meteoroid on the Earth which is also known as the mysterious lake due to the various facts.
To reach Lonar Lake the nearest railway station is Jalna and from there, it is around 2 hours from the bus where the bus frequency is very limited from Jalna bus stand.
To reach the water level of the lake one has to hike a lot which depends on the speed and pace of the hike, it took around 45 minutes to reach the water level. The hike is kind of tiring and carry enough amount of water along with you.
At one entrance, you have to pay 40₹ per person for an entry ticket. If you are travelling solo either hire a guide or walk along with a group of people as the way downstairs is a jungle area and leopard and monitor lizards are often spotted here. I was walking alone and at one point a group of monkeys tried to attack me, thank god to the group of three who were walking a few meters behind me otherwise it would have been a horrifying situation for me.
The way is smooth and you can see ample temples and ruins on the way even you can find signboards showing the way to the lake.
I think the Maharashtra government should take some measures to protect this national geo world heritage site, I could see thrash everywhere on the path.
Overall it was an amazing experience visiting this mysterious lake.

Amazing place. Lonar crater lake has its own ecosystem. One should read its history before visiting this place. Although the crater's age was previously estimated to be 51,000 years, newer studies suggest an age of 556,000 years.

Lovely place. One of its kind on Earth. To visit the lake one needs to hike down from Gomukh temple and walk the forest trail. There are ruins of various ancient temples on the perimeter of the lake. Lake itself has mesmerizing history. Having a guide with you while visiting the lake is useful.

Lonar Lake has a captivating story!! Around 52,000 years ago, a meteor weighing about two million tons hurtled through space at an estimated speed of 90,000 kmph and crashed into the earth creating a magnificent trough. To visit, one has to hike down 2-3 kilometres which will take 2-2.5 hours approx. Carry your water bottles as it would be very exhausting. But after reaching view is breathtaking. Entry ticket is 30 Rs per person.

Lonar Lake is an absolute must-visit destination. The trek is easy, and hiring Saurabh as our guide enhanced our experience exponentially. His insightful narration about the place, coupled with demonstrations using litmus paper and magnets, added depth to our understanding. The up-close view of the lake was mesmerizing, followed by a scenic drive around it from various viewpoints.

Lonar lake is a ASI protected site and one of the 4 lakes in the world that were created by a meteorite. To reach the lake you have to walk down around 3 kms and a forest entry charge of INR 40 is taken. It is a must visit since the Lake is beautiful and has a lot of different qualities. Early mornings are good for bird watching. The lake is said to be more than 50000 years old.
It is not so famous yet but has its own natural beauty. There are old Hindu temples around Lonar also that one can include in their itinerary.

My favorite temple has always been my place of worship.

Shree Gajanan Maharaj temple is the world's cleanest and most disciplined temple. I have never visited such a holy place in my whole lifeline. I visited Tirupati balaji, Dagduseth Ganpati temple, Jejuri, Ambabai kolhapur but the divine energy here is incomparable. One must attend the 11AM Aarti at the Samadhi gruh.
Huge crowd can be seen for the darshan. It requires at least 30 mins for the darshan in normal line on weekdays and it itakes upto 1-2 hours on weekends. Mukh darshan facility is also available for senior citizens which will take 10-15 mins for the darshan and special service is provided to the handicapped.
Highlighting the emphasis on hygiene, the temple trust offers Mahaprasad from 9 am to 9 pm daily, ensuring top-notch food quality unmatched by nearby hotels or restaurants. Photography is restricted, but I've included few photo for reference. Anand Sagar, a garden adjacent to the temple, recently reopened partially after being closed for two years. It's a must-visit spot, complementing the temple experience.

A shri Gajanan maharaj temple, it gives blend of experience of so many things silent, peaceful, pleasure, neat and clean, self discipline, polite and humble staff.
They offers free of cost bus services (neat and clean) from railway station to Temple to bhakt nivas. You get three options to stay at bhakt nivas, no advance booking or online booking applicableq, just walk down and as per rooms availability and your requirements room gets offered.1. Bhakt nivas sankul near to temple 2. visava bhakt nivas and 3. Anand vihar both are about 3 km away from temple.
You have best options to stay as per your budget and convenience.
I visited with family at shegaony in covid time, required e-pass which is available online as well as in all bhakt nivas.
The entire temple is neat and clean, pleasent atmosphere. Everyone was acting in self discipline and going in queue with following safe distance. The darshan time is about 1 hr in which people take samadhi darshan and then go for maha prasad. Every where we found silent, peaceful, polite and humble staff, neat and clean place. After prasad you go to donation area. There are 4 counters where people can give donation as per their wish. And then you go to exit. We got excellent darshan and mahaprasad, my entire family was very happy.
I visited many place but Best management experience, neat and clean, pleasent atmosphere and self discipline in my life is only at shegaon devasthan and bhakt nivas.

Other options are available outside temple.

Crowd management is appreciable as compared to other big temples, no one says you to rush, overall samadhi darshan with maximum crowd will take
30-35 mins. They even have a facility to do mukh darshan from glass, which will take merely 5-7 mins.
They also facilitate vip entry for old citizens.

Shree Gajanan Maharaj Temple, Shegaon is run by a very well organized Trust. They have wonderful arrangements for devotees at Bhakt Nivas that include very clean rooms and 24 hour hot water. There is definitely a wait of one to three hour for a room so definitely plan accordingly. They also have breakfast available. Lunch and dinner free at the main temple, but also available at Bhakt Nivas for a nominal price. They prepare food at a central kitchen in a very hygienic environment. They also provide transport from main temple to nivas at all times, day or night. The main temple itself is beautiful and there is a display indicating the estimated time for samadhi darshan. The main mandir inside is also very beautiful. What I especially liked were the clean restroom facilities, clean and cheap Nivas facilities Overall, it is a very well managed temple.

This is a good place to visit one time with friends and family. The water park starts at 10 A.M. the parking ticket cost 50rs and the park ticket price is 700rs per head. Which includes breakfast and lunch as well. You'll have to submit one mobile phone at the check-in counter to get entry. Once entered you can rent a locker which can cost 250rs for a large one and 150rs for a small one. You can also rent a swimming costume in case you forget yours at home. The wave pool starts at around 3 followed by lunch (unlimited food). Once you are done with the water park you can head towards the amusement park which has a few cool options to hop on (no extra charges) and the park closes at around 6 pm.
Even tho i didn't stay there till 6 as i had other plans for the day. But we really enjoyed the water slides and wave pool.

I visit here on 29 mar 2022. Tickets rate is 1199 for male adult, it's worst ever water park visited. Only two water coster are available and remaning are closed. Water quality is very bad water turned green, no traces of chlorination in water. No greenary at all only plastic grass. By rule there must be provision of drinking water at public gathering places but not a single water tap available. Looting people with least price of 100 for just short. Only one pool of 5 feet deep is the one you can use that's it all. Food included in 1199 but quality is just above bad.

The place is fabulous in terms of slides, spaces, amusement park activities and the pools. However The costs of tickets do not justify the facilities they provide, especially the food is very poor in taste and quality is below par. Also, the timing for the wave pools is very short. The variety of rides ensured that no one in my group ever felt bored or unengaged.
One of the highlights of Fun & Food Village was its emphasis on safety. I noticed that the park maintained strict safety standards and ensured that all rides were well-maintained and regularly inspected. The lifeguards were attentive, vigilant, and always ready to jump into action if needed, which provided a sense of security for everyone, especially parents with young children.
Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness of the park. Despite being a popular attraction, the management made sure that the premises were spotless. The restrooms were regularly cleaned, and there were plenty of bins strategically placed around the park to maintain cleanliness. This attention to detail enhanced the overall experience and made the visit all the more enjoyable.

The place is amazing. Entry fee is 900 per head and 1200 for combo of water world and fun world. Locker and costumes are free and well maintained. We can deposit our valuable items separately. It's a good place for family and friends. The slides are amazing. I'd highly recommend it.

The park is a popular destination for families and groups looking to spend a fun-filled day out.
The park offers a range of thrilling rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. Some of the popular rides include a roller coaster, a giant wheel, a bumper car ride, and a 360-degree swing ride. There is also a range of water slides and pools for visitors to cool off on hot days.
Apart from the rides and attractions, the park also has several food stalls and restaurants serving a range of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, and fast food.
One 🌟 minus for food quality. The food they serve are not good. Though they charge for food but quality of food is even less than local Mess.
