This centuries old temple stunned me with its beautiful architecture. Taking photos were not allowed inside the temple complexes but the design of the temple shikharas (spores) reminded me so much of the traditional temple design predominant in East Bengal (the areas in today's Bangladesh).
Maybe the rajput lineage of architecture had been carried to Bengal. During medieval times, Rajput generals and nobles were often employed by the Mughal Empire and historically many Rajput personalities have attacked Bengal at the head of major invading armies.
India is fascinating country, with history peeling out at you from everywhere. But only if you are careful and patient in looking for it.
The area just outside needs to be cleaned up and encroachments removed.

One of the oldest temple in the city of the heart of lord Shiva where you find and 500 year old shivali made of crystals. There also other it is also like Mata Rani Ganesh ji and many other pindis. Situated in the heart of the city and easily approachable by matador vehicles car parking also available and very highly maintained and hygienic atmosphere and the best part was that the atmosphere was so calming and relaxing everybody was very curious and helpful.

This temple was constructed by Maharaj Ranbir Singh in 1878 A.D. Construction started in the year 1863 A.D, and it took 15 years to complete. It is the biggest Shiv temple in all of North India. Some things to keep in mind: remember to never do a full parikram crossing the water drain in any Shiv temple (look for the answer online, there are plenty 😌). They close the temple at 1pm and reopen at 3pm so latest arrival should be by 12pm.

The Bahu Fort is a historic fort in the city of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. Constructed on the banks on Tawi River, the ancient fort is believed to be constructed by Rajput Raja Bahulochan around 3,000 years ago. It is believed that the first renovation of this fort was undertaken during Dogra Rule in 18th century. The fort is a religious place, and within its precincts has a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. The temple is known locally as the "Bawe Wali Mata temple".The building of the city of Jammu and the Bahu Fort are linked to a legend. Raja Jambu Lochan, when on a hunting trip, witnessed a curious scene of a tiger and a goat drinking water side by side at the same location in the Tawi River, without the tiger attacking. The Raja considered this a divine direction to establish his new capital here, as the scene he witnessed at this site represented peaceful coexistence. His brother, Bahu Lochan, is credited with building the fort.
The fort is located on a high plateau land overlooking the Tawi River on its rocky left bank with an average elevation of 325m. The forest area that surrounds the fort has been developed into a well laid out park called the "Bagh-e-Bahu", from where a commanding view of the city of Jammu could be seen. The garden attracts a large number of visitors.[1]
The fort, the temple, and the Bagh-e-Bahu garden are located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the Jammu city centre. The city road to Surinsar was widened for providing approach to an Oil drilling exploration project. However, this project was shelved and consequently the widened new road provided better access to the fort and the temple, and the number of visitors to these places has since increased.
The fort structure is located at an elevation of 325 metres (1,066 ft), opposite to the old town of Jammu. The fortified structure has thick walls made of sandstones built with lime and brick mortar. It has eight octagonal towers or turrets connected by thick walls. The towers have enclosures to house guards. The main entry is fit to allow passage of elephants into the fort. A water tank with access for pilgrims to take bath is located on the left entry into the fort. This tank or pond is 6.1× in size and has a water depth of 4.6 metres (15 ft). A pyramidal structure is on the right flank (with very thick walls to withstand any gun attack) of the fort was an ammunition store. An underground chamber here was used a prison. This chamber has a secret exit to escape from the fort in case of any emergencies. The first floor is lavishly built with arches and decorated with floral designs like a Baradari or a palace.
To the right of the temple, there are a few halls which were used in the past as assembly halls and offices of the Quiledar (master of the fort). However, they are not maintained at all. The royal stables were also located within this fort. Substantial renovation and additions to attract visitors have been added during recent years.
The earliest historical recorded link to the fort is that of Raja Jambu Lochan and his brother Bahu Lochan, sons of a powerful ruler Agnigarbha II of the Jammu dynasty of Suryavanshi kings. Bahu, the eldest of Agnigarbha's 18 sons, is credited with establishing the Jammu city and building the fort. The earlier fort structure was modified over the years to a stronger fortified structure. The present fort was rebuilt, probably at the same location as the ancient fort, by Autar Dev, the grandson of King Kapoor Dev in 1585. Over the years the fort underwent demolitions and reconstructions from time to time, until during Sikh Empire the then new Governor/Raja of Jammu Maharaja Gulab Singh reconstructed the present fort in the 19th century, which was further refurbished during the rule of Maharaja Ranbir Singh. They first established temples for their tutelary deities; the image of Mahakali deity in the temple in the fort was brought from Ayodhya

This garden is located at Bahu fort. Garden maintenance is ok. Could be improved. One can view Jammu city from the garden deck. There is a musical fountain with lights that starts only after sunset. As we were not aware of it we missed it.

Park is well maintained, but non accessible for specially a led people. Musical fountain staff are fraud, there is a big problem with power disruption and they do not have any backup. Staff runaway once power is gone. No refund, be careful with this.

Even with all the hustle and bustle around, one can find solace here and appreciate its natural beauty.
This one is certainly right out of a story book.

I visited Khajjiar shortly after the monsoon (one of the best seasons to visit). It is a sprawling green meadow with a marsh lake in the middle and surrounded all around by deodar trees. There is a cottage run by Himachal tourism situated right in the meadow (the iconic photo that you see when you search Khajjiar in Google), where you can book your stay through the Himachal tourism website. It was lush green and the weather was pleasant in September. The good thing about Khajjiar is that it's not overcrowded (yet). There is so much fresh air and tranquility. You can take a good walk around the perimeter and then sit on a bench and enjoy the view how much ever you want. This place is a great escapade from the noise and crowd of the city.

My experience at Khajjiar Lake was far from impressive. I visited in the month of December and without the picturesque snow, the place loses its charm, leaving little else to captivate visitors. The lake itself is ordinary, and the surroundings lack the magic that comes with a snowy landscape.
When the snow is absent, Khajjiar Lake becomes just another average spot, lacking the allure that's often associated with this destination. I'd advise skipping it unless you're fortunate enough to catch it during the rare snowy season. Without the snow, it's a rather unremarkable visit.

It's a must-visit place. At the beginning, you might not be thrilled, but once you reach the top, you'll definitely enjoy this trek. The route to this location offers a very scenic road. We also experienced snow on the track and along the road. We enjoyed the trek overall.

Excellent place; a must visit to trek for those who are not used to trekking. The stone and paved path uphill is full of breathtaking views. You will get amazing view of valley and pine covered mountains. I went in monsoon. The beauty of rain, and clouds dancing on the mountains, and the myst all around, was amazing.

At a distance of 17 km from Dalhousie Bus Stand, Dainkund Peak, perched at an altitude of 2755 m, is the highest mountain peak in Dalhousie. This is the most important peak and also a very popular place to visit in Dalhousie. Tourists can enjoy 360° view of the entire valley from this peak.
Dainkund is also a famous place for short trekking near Dalhousie. The name Dainkund is said to have been derived from Dain - Kund, which means Lake of the Witches. It is believed that in old days this mountain was the residence of witches. The sound of the breeze passing through the trees makes a musical sound, due to which this peak has also acquired the name, the singing hill.
This peak has two major attractions; one is the Indian Air Force base and the other is the Pholani Devi temple, which is a temple of great importance. One of the most interesting facts about this temple is that, except a trident there is nothing inside the temple premises. The peak offers a clear view of the flow of the rivers Ravi, Chenab and Beas which flow at the base.
Trekking is the most common path to get to the top and is a beautiful experience, with great views and fresh cool mountain air. Being the highest peak, it gets maximum snowfall during the winter season. The ascent to the Dainkund begins after crossing Lakkar Mandi. About 6 km drive from Lakkar Mandi leads to Indian Air Force Barrier, where the cars are parked. From the end of the motor able road to the temple one has to walk around 3 km of which the first km is very steep. However, this steep stretch of walk is quite safe as the path is made of wide concrete steps.

One of the best places near dalhousie. It's a small trek with a climb at the start and beautiful views at the temple at the end. About 1.3 kms long walk to the temple at the end.
One could easily spend 4-5 hours enjoying views along the way and the panoramic views from the peak. Way is well marked and paved.

Small pond surrounded by lot of green trees. It is not well maintained though. There is hardly any water and whatever is there, it is green and dirty. Understandably, there is no boating here. It is on the way towards Naddi View Point, passing-by glance is enough for this spot.

1.Okayish place for tourist attraction.
2.Surrounded by trees and horses can seen around grazing.
3.It's not a lake, It's a Pond.
4.Water is all green and filled with algae.
5.Boating is not allowed.

It’s a artificial pond renamed after Dal lake of Kashmir.
But it is not even 10% of that Kashmir dal lake .
The bed is green trees behind the pond is only a good thing there .
Else water is smelling bad and also dirty.
Not well maintained.
Just the name is there and nothing good there from my opinion, it can be maintained well and make a good tourist place.

Nice place to visit. The pine trees give this place a picturesque view also which makes this place look very beautiful. But the Government has to do something to revive the lake. The lake is having mud & it looks like a daldal. The government should look into the matter of cleanliness and reviving of this lake to make it more beautiful ❤️

This place didn't really surprise me, it seems like any random lake. However, as I visited this place in July the monsoons made it look much much better 🤩

Visit this place in the month of January. It was devoid of snow. The Deodar tree line on the outline of the lake created a beautiful landscape. Only if the water level would've been a bit on the higher side, it would added on to the beauty.
Hopefully administration revives the aquifers and get a year round supply of water for the lake and beyond.
Sample space for parking across the road enroute Naddi hill station.
One time visit is more than enough.

When we visited this place just after the extended monsoon, at the end of September, we found this small lake, surrounded by lush green trees, very pretty. However, since it is an artificial lake, with controlled water, it may not look so beautiful throughout the year.
The park by the side of the lake needs better maintenance.
It is just about 2.5 km uphill from McLeod Ganj, on way to the Naddi/ Sunset View Point.

Chilling spot surrounded by cedrus forest. Lake itself is made artificially by damming the stream on the flat terrace are. The banks are turned into the park zone with walking paths, number of benches, trash bins and places for picnic. Fast food facilities are also available, but not operating throughout whole year. Lack of maintenance from municipal services leads to intensive trashing of the place.

Ancient Hindu temple in a secluded compound with a pool & trails leading to a waterfall.
Bhagsu Naag Falls is closely situated to the Bhagsu Naag Temple after which these falls named after.
Very beautiful ❤️
Off season (winters) water is very less because it freezes over the hills hence water fall is thinner during off season.
During season you'll be mesmerized by the beauty of this place.

Nice authentic temple with a swimming pool. Often crowded. Avoid on the weekend as it is getting seriously popular among Indian tourists who come from all around to visit, and if you going there from MacleodGanj, you might get stuck in a horrible traffic jam! . From the temple there is a very nice hike towards the water fall.
Again!! AVOID GOING THERE ON A WEEKEND 😉

It was not worth the hype. The temple is small. Not managed well.Pandit ji was there but special puja are not done fyi.
The only good part was the clean pool adjacent to it. Surprisingly many people are using it.
Overall not worth a visit to this place ,but we were here for 5 days so had some spare time. The waterfall can hardly be called so and nothing great about it. After the Triund trek this was a disappointing trek. Takes 30 mins to climb up from the temple to the waterfall . There is zip lining too in case that interests.

Bhagsunath Temple, Kangra
A medieval shrine, Bhagsunath is Shiva Temple situated about 3kms from Mcleodganj. The temple has been highly revered by the Hindus and the Gorkha Community. The sacred shrine is famed for its two pools that are believed to have healing properties. The best time to visit Bhagsunath Temple is during the annual fair that takes place here in the month of September. The Dal Lake, Kotwali Bazaar and Bhagsu Fall are the main attractions around this holy shrine.
History:The legend has that King Bhagsu built this temple after seeking forgiveness from Snake God. It is believed that Nag Devta was raged in anger as King Bhagsu stole water from the sacred Nag Dal Lake here. Later, the king repented and built the temple in reverence to Nag Devta.
According to another legend, this shrine was the patronage of a specific Gorkha community called Bhagsuwala (after the God Bhagsunag). It is also believed that these rulers built the two pools of water here with tiger-head spouts. A double-story wooden house for pilgrims was also built by them.

Awesome experience. Dip your hands and legs immersed. Chilled water. Did not see anybody jumping into the pool. Accumulated water at the other end had moss and could be dangerous. The temple itself has a very serene atmosphere dedicated to Lord Shiva, Snake God's, Shani Dev, Devi Maa, Lord Ganesh and Bhakt Shiromani Hanuman! From here there is an uphill trek towards Bhagsu Waterfall. Not much water now though due to reduced rains. Check before you venture. Lot of eateries nearby... You can spend 1-2 hours here.
An auto from Mcleodganj rickshaw stand costs 70 bucks, Return you can easily walk down. Not more than 20 minutes.

Upon entering the temple premises, I was greeted by the soothing chants and prayers, which instantly filled me with a sense of peace and reverence. The atmosphere inside the temple was serene, with devotees offering their prayers and seeking blessings from the deity.
The main deity, Lord Shiva, presides over the temple, and the sanctum sanctorum exudes a divine energy that is palpable to all who visit. The intricate carvings and vibrant paintings adorning the walls add to the temple's allure, showcasing the rich heritage and cultural significance of the region.

Each turn of the prayer wheel symbolizes a devout wish or prayer, creating a rhythmic harmony with the surroundings. This complex has the Tibet memorial, namgyal monastery, official residence of H.H. Dalai Lama and various hostels/offices which are not open for normal tourist. Some basic things that one must remember here;
1. Always wear masks
2. Follow the rules written on the wall
3. Maintain silence in the temple.
The namgyal monastery was set up by H.H. Dalai Lama and other refugees who came from Tibet after China's invasion. It has the reamin of the main idol of the original namgyal monastery from Tibet. You can sit and pray outside the main temple, as there are a lot of mattresses and area for public.
One needs to maintain silence there all the time. There is drinking water available but please don't use it untill it's necessary because the residents of the complex are already facing water shortage.
Enjoy the area, pray and learn about Buddhism, Tibet and H.H. Dalai Lama.

It is situated on a long height of 1457m.
The views of the Dhauladhar mountain ranges from the stadium, especially in winters covered with snow, is mesmerizing.
You can sit for hours with those scenery.
You've to take tourists tickets (Rs. 30 per person as of Feb 24) to visit the stadium on non-match days.
The entry for tourists is allowed from Gate 2 (not on Google Maps). You've to ask from some locals as the gate is located inside a small road.

I went there from Mcleod Ganj using the Dharamshala Skyway, which added a lot to the entire experience. After entering the stadium, I sat there for a while enjoying the cool breeze, which was absolutely awesome. Must visit!
The Masroor Rock Cut Temple is a cluster of monolithic sandstone temples located in North India. These ornate structures were carved from living rock between the 8th and 10th centuries, displaying beautiful architectural carvings that have suffered severe erosion over time. The temple complex bears similarities to smaller temples at Angkor Wat in Cambodia and offers a stunning reflection when viewed from the nearby tank.
This is a rare monolithic temple of Northern India. It is a marvelous heritage of India.
Very well maintained by archeology department of Indian government.
Tickets can be purchased online only.
Also the temple complex is very best and clean. 2 3 stalls out side for food and beverages.

A peaceful tranquil place that gives you a view that will be with you for life. The view of the temple from across the lake is the best. While it can get really hot during peak summer the way we experienced in June 22, however if you carry an umbrella, you can walk around without much fatigue.
There is plenty of shade to sit and enjoy the view. You can also walk beyond the lake to enjoy some Maggi or other quick snacks or biscuits or soft drinks.
Photo options are a plenty.
Overall a place worth going to and spending at least couple of hours to soak in the peace and awe of the view and wonder about how many centuries back people would have carved out these structures and what would've motivated them to do it.

Amazing to see such an old structure with intricate sculptures. There is a lot of erosion though. There is no guide to help you appreciate the place better.
Many structures are glued together or reinforced to help stay in shape.
Going up the stairs gets you nice view of the scenery around as well as the top view of the temples.
Well spent hour.

Beautiful place. Not known too much as it is quite a distance from the main city. But the journey was worth it. The rock cut temples show our rich heritage and depicts the kind of art we had in our country. It is partially destroyed due to an earthquake in 1905 but the remaining part is well maintained. However food facilitates not close by so don't plan this visit so as to overlap with lunch times.

Quite clean, nice, beautiful, & calm place to visit. You have to buy a ticket online to visit the temple & then you can go inside. It's a simple temple but, the artistry of cutting a single rock is an awesome experience.

A hidden beauty far away from all the limelight. Takes about 2hrs to reach from Dharmashala by car. No bus routes available nearby. A digital entry fee directly payable through app( no cash taken). This temple is in complete ruins post a massive earthquake in 1800’s. No much history is known, no guides available. But the massive ruins speaks for itself the magnificent temple that existed earlier. A pond is beautifully constructed in front, which still has certain ruins beneath it. Apart from the ruins, the view of the temple from the top is heart breaking! However, the sunset view is spectacular at the top!

This Temple is a truly breathtaking site to behold. The intricate carvings and stunning architecture of this temple leave visitors in awe of its beauty and history.
The temple, located in the state of Himachal Pradesh, is believed to have been built during the 8th century by the Pandavas. It is said to have been carved out of a single rock, which is a testament to the incredible skill and craftsmanship of its builders.
The intricate details etched into the walls and pillars of the temple depict various gods and goddesses, mythological scenes, and celestial beings. The beauty and intricacy of these carvings are truly awe-inspiring.
Visiting the Rock Cut Temple Masroor is an experience that will stay with you for a long time. The peaceful surroundings and beauty of the temple offer a spiritual and serene atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend visiting this extraordinary site if you are in the area.

Very well maintained in such a remote place.
Approach road to the temple is narrow and not good. Drive slowly and carefully. Could see landslide on the way.

Everything is great apart from the lake. The lake needs to be cleaned as it's very dirty and you can see plastic and dead fish floating.

Very beautiful rock cut temples that were partially destroyed by the 1905 earth quake. All the temples were defaced and some faces missing maybe done during the mughal rule. Not sure though. Take 1.5 hour to reach here from Dharamshala by car. The place is overall clean and has a nice tea stall outside. Worth the visit if you're interested in history

The Rock Cut Temples of Masroor, located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India, are an impressive architectural marvel dating back to the 8th century. Carved out of a single rock, these temples exhibit intricate detailing and craftsmanship, reminiscent of classical Indian architecture.
Visitors are often awe-struck by the grandeur of the temple complex, which consists of a group of rock-cut temples dedicated to various Hindu deities, primarily Lord Shiva. The main temple, dedicated to Shiva, features a towering shikhara (spire) and intricately carved bas-reliefs depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.
While the temples have suffered some damage over the centuries due to natural erosion and earthquakes, they continue to stand as a testament to the skill and dedication of the artisans who created them.
Visitors to the Rock Cut Temples of Masroor can expect a serene and picturesque setting amidst the backdrop of the Dhauladhar mountain range. The site offers opportunities for exploration and photography, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and travelers exploring the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. However, accessibility and infrastructure around the site may be limited, so visitors should plan accordingly.

Recently explored Masroor Rock Cut Temple (11-11-23) – a hidden gem for a family picnic. Even during the Diwali Festive Season, the serene atmosphere prevailed with fewer crowds. The temple, a marvel of ancient architecture, left me in awe. The journey from Kangra unfolded breathtaking mountain views, riverside scenery, and enchanting pine forests. The road, though occasionally bumpy due to recent heavy rains, was generally well-maintained.
Entrance fees were surprisingly low, and the online ticketing process, facilitated by the attentive guard, ensured a smooth experience. The strategically located restroom atop a hillock provided not only convenience but also a panoramic view of the surroundings. Cleanliness was a pleasant surprise.
A quaint eatery near the temple offered delightful treats – from scrumptious Vegetable Maggie and momos to an outstanding pizza. The pizza, in particular, was a standout. I cherished nearly two hours in this picturesque setting, perfect for both photography enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxed picnic spot. Masroor Rock Cut Temple is not just a place; it's a reason to take pride in our rich heritage.

Shri maa Chintpurani temple is one of the most divine, serene and beautiful religious place situated in Himachal pardesh. It is one of the 51 shaktipeethas of devi durga. Chintpurni Temple is located around 80 km from Dharamsala. The presiding deity is Goddess Chintpurni, who is said to remove worries, and is represented by a pindi (round stone idol). Legend has it that when Lord Vishnu severed Maa Sati's body in 51 parts to end Lord Shiva's dance of cosmic destruction, the parts got scattered over different places in India. Considered one of the most important among 51 shaktipeethas, it is believed the head of Goddess Shakti fell at Chintpurni.

Here are few tips for easy darshan:
Park the car in government parking place, take taxi that charge 200 per trip. Taxi drop point is gate no. 2.
Only taxis are allowed to reach at gate no.2.
Gate number 2 is near to the temple and with very less steps. It was very comfortable for MIL who has knees problem.
Right your feedback if you found this way for easy darshan.

Mata Chintpurni is a very popular temple in the Hindu community. A lot of people visit daily to seek the blessings of Mata Rani.
The temple is very well organized and the people management is amazing. There are two parking available and I would suggest parking your vehicle in the first parking which is the government one as the charges are quite low and you can get a darshan token from there.
The temple has started the lift, which wants to go directly in front of the darbar. The lift is free for old age people and handicapped people. But others have to pay a fee of 1100/- to avail of this service. Token for the loft is available is first parking only.

Ancient origin
When Lord Vishnu severed the burning body of Maa Sati into 51 pieces so that Lord Shiva would calm down and stop his Tandava, the pieces were scattered over various places in the Indian subcontinent. It is believed that Sati's head fell at this place and is thus considered one of the most important of the 51 Shakti Peethas.
The goddess residing in Chintpurni is also known by the name of Chhinnamastika. According to Markandeya Purana, goddess Chandi defeated the demons after a fierce battle but two of her yogini emanations (Jaya and Vijaya) were still thirsty for more blood. Goddess Chandi cut off her own head to quench Jaya and Vijaya's thirst for more blood.
She is usually shown holding her own severed head in her hand, drinking one stream of blood spurting from the arteries in her neck, while at her side are two naked yoginis, each of whom drinks another stream of blood.
Chhinnamasta, the headless goddess, is the Great Cosmic Power who helps the sincere and devoted yogi to dissolve his or her mind, including all the preconceived ideas, attachments and habits into the Pure Divine Consciousness. Cutting off the head suggests the separation of the mind from the body, that is the freedom of the consciousness from the material confines of the physical body.
According to Puranic traditions, Chhinnamastika Mata will be protected by Shiva – Rudra Mahadev in the four directions. There are four Shiva temples – Kaleshwar Mahadev in the east, Narayhana Mahadev in the west, Muchkund Mahadev in the north and Shiva Bari in the south – which are nearly equidistant from Chintpurni. This also confirms Chintpurni as the abode of Maa Chhinnamastika.
manvir stark — Google review
Chintpurni Temple is dedicated to Mata Chintpurni Devi who is also at times referred to as Mata Chinnamasta. Chinna means ‘without’ and Masta stands for ‘Head’.
Out of all the pieces, it is believed that Maa Sati’s head fell here, making it one of the most important Shaktipeeth. Mata Chintpurni Devi is a symbol of self-sacrifice and according to legend, she is protected by Lord Shiva in the four directions. As such, there are four temples surrounding the main temple. Kaleshwar Mahadev is present in the east, Narayhana Mahadev is found in the west, Shiva Bari in the south, and Muchkund Mahadev in the north.

The experience was good, albeit a few things could have been better - I went with a small baby in a pram, and had to constantly lift the pram as there are no pathways for wheels, it's possible for people with wheelchairs to have similar problems so they should fix this. Another thing is that they don't let us back in after we leave, I get that there is a certain way, but we just left to keep something in the car, and couldn't come back in which was a major let down. All in all, a wonderful experience to witness authentic punjabi culture. I would definitely recommend visiting, but rather come at night than day as in day you can only click pictures and see statues and all, whereas in the night there are shows and activities like pottery wheel going on .

But sorry to say garden is deprived of maintenance.. Green grass is there but without proper mowing or cutting. No cleanliness at the sitting places either on grassy area or cemented benches.
For kids, swings are there but are in very bad conditions. Slider is broken which can cause injury to any toddler.
RAKH BAGH NEEDS MAINTENANCE!!!!??

Sri Nanaksar Gurdwara is situated in the Ludhiana district of Punjab and is located approximately five miles from the city of Jagraon along the road from Ludhiana to Moga and Ferozpur. The sacred beginnings of Nanaksar began over a hundred-years ago as a simple hut; humbled by its natural surroundings amongst the thick of the jungle. This location was specifically chosen by the Holy Saint, Baba Nand Singh Ji as it personified a spiritual retreat where one could move to escape the misguidance of the world, and concentrate on the sole treasure of Naam Simran.
Baba Nand Singh Ji was born on the Pooranmashi of month Kathak (November) in 1870 in village Sherpura, Tehsil Jagraon, Distt Ludhiana. His father’s name was Sardar Jai Singh Ji and his mother’s name was Mata Sada Kaur Ji. Even as a child, Baba Nand Singh Ji was extremely pious and his urge for devotional worship continuously saw him escape all worldly measures and partake solely in meditating the holy name of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through recitations of Sahib Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Baba Nand Singh Ji mastered selfless sacrifice, and devoted his existence to prolonged meditations and holy service. Baba Nand Singh Ji placed the utmost importance on the need for contemplation and never placed a single regard on weather conditions or how safe the local terrain was before embarking on his spiritual retreats. Furthermore, he never worried for worldly comforts such as food or water and solely believed that everything was in Waheguru’s hukam. This belief was principled on the thought that since he was devoting and meditating solely on the name of a higher being, all worldly requirements should

As per some historical documents, It was built in 1975 by Baba (Sant) Nand Singh with the help of the devotees .
They meditated here for a long. After him, baba Isher Singh ji served here.
This Gurudwara sahib is architectured very beautifully. It is a beautiful structure with a huge marble-floored hall and sanctum at its end.
The main festivals celebrated here are Prakash divas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji,Barsi of Baba Nand Singh ji and Jor Mela is conducted very enthusiastically on these occasions , which attracts sangat from all over.
Also there used to be huge devotees on every Fool Moon (Puranima/ puranmaasi) every month.
Main unique point of this religious place is that, not even a single panny (rupee) is given(as Charhawa) by devotees, only fruits, eatable things are given by devotees and taken as parshad.

Title: A Tranquil Haven of Spiritual Serenity: Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib
Review:
Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib stands as a testament to the profound spiritual heritage of the Sikh religion. From the moment you step foot into its sacred premises, you are enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and purity that leaves an indelible mark on your soul.
Located in the holy city of Patiala, Punjab, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib holds immense religious significance for Sikhs around the world. It is believed to possess the power to alleviate the suffering of those who visit with a sincere heart and devote themselves to prayer and contemplation.
The first thing that strikes you upon entering the gurudwara is its awe-inspiring architecture. The magnificent white marble structure adorned with intricate glasswork and frescoes creates a sense of ethereal beauty. As you make your way through the entrance gate, the serenity of the place engulfs you, transporting you to a realm of peace and devotion.
Inside, you are greeted by the melodious strains of Gurbani (Sikh devotional hymns) resonating through the air. The melodic chants, accompanied by the soothing sound of the harmonium and tabla, evoke a sense of spiritual transcendence and fill your heart with devotion. The rhythmic recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, further enhances the atmosphere of reverence and sanctity.
One of the most cherished aspects of the Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib experience is the langar, a community kitchen where free meals are served to all visitors, regardless of their caste, creed, or social status. The langar epitomizes the core Sikh value of selfless service and equality. Sitting alongside fellow devotees and partaking in the simple yet delicious vegetarian meal creates a sense of unity and brotherhood that is truly humbling.
The gurudwara's serene Sarovar (holy pool) serves as a focal point for reflection and purification. Devotees partake in the sacred ritual of Karah Parshad, a sweet offering distributed to all as a blessing. Walking around the Sarovar, absorbing its tranquil ambiance and witnessing the devotion of pilgrims taking a dip in its holy waters, one cannot help but feel a deep connection to the divine.
The spiritual experience at Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is not limited to Sikhs alone; people from all walks of life are welcomed with open arms. Whether seeking solace, spiritual guidance, or simply a respite from the chaos of the outside world, this gurudwara offers a sanctuary where one can find inner peace and rejuvenation.
In conclusion, a visit to Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is an enriching and purifying experience that leaves an everlasting impression on your spirit. Its serene ambiance, soul-stirring devotional music, selfless service through langar, and the profound religious respect it holds in the Sikh faith make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking solace and spiritual enlightenment.

Steam Engines of Narrow and Broad Gage both we can find in one place..
Some important things Railway management to consider.
1. Make sure some schedule is provided online about the startup of the steam engine such that Steam engine enthusiastic people can visit on those particular calendar days.
2. For Toy Train is being run by battery make sure that the miniature Steam Engine is mounted on that.
3.One Miniature Steam Engine is available I felt very happy after noticing that I think in whole India only Rewari workshop is having this kind, but management should take necessary steps to display this in running condition. (If not daily make a schedule and keep it online such that the people who all are interested may attend on those particular days).
Overall good place having a vintage collection of Steam Engines....

The staff is quite cooperative. Places is nicely maintained. A good place to bring your kids. Fairy queen and other steam engines worth a visit if you love big equipment and history
Amrit Sharma — Google review
Okay firstly, experience was good of course seeing technicians restoring these old steel behemoths. But I would've given 5 stars if I could've seen these locomotives huffing and puffing inside the loco shed as I saw many times in videos.
Secondly the biggest downpoint was not being able to see these locomotives huffing and puffing. After asking one of the staff members I was told that if any senior railway officer is scheduled to visit this place only then the locomotives are fired up. It's your lucky day if upon your visit by chance you get to see this spectacle. Otherwise get ready for disappointment.
Thirdly, spend only on the entry ticket and film show. Don't spend on any other activity. To reach the shed from Rewari railway station, you need to exit from the back side and not front. From there it's a 1 km walk.
Lastly. This place is definitely a must visit. Seeing so many steam locmotives in a loco shed being restored is an experience like no other. You can get to see locmotives open from the front giving you a glimpse of inside it's boilers.

Such a good action in a right way to maintain the Loco Shed. It's good place to show you the Railway historical fictions, very well maintained steam engines here. To explore the Loco Shed, there is a Toy Train Model.
A lot of movies scene have been shot here including Sultan, Bhag Milkha Bhag & Bharat etc. It's very decent place by mean anyone can visit it with the family and friends. Cafe facility also available here for some refreshment. Gardening and other stuff are also good.
I had downloaded a 10% off coupon from their website. Website was also discounting the price to Rs 1400 (full price is Rs 1500). But instead of buying the tickets online we decided to buy at the fort as I was not sure if my sister would be interested.
But when we bought the ticket they refused to honor the coupon or the website price. We paid Rs. 1500/person for 2 zip package.
You have to hike up a fair bit, so you better be wearing layers (which you can take off or add) and comfortable shoes. Also, keep your hair tied. And make sure your glasses are not loose (or they will fall off during zipline).
You will be thirsty by the time you get to the point where you have to start the zip. And the staff will gladly offer you a water bottle and charge you Rs. 20. So you may be better off carrying a small disposable water bottle with you that you can stick in your pocket after finishing the water.

Nice adventure. Must try . The staff is cooperative and humble. They instructed well about the process and were very supportive throughout the process. We tried the morning slot as it is less crowded and also saved from sun heat. Need to track to reach the starting point so we prepare for this also . The need to reach the location is another challenge as it is away from the highway. Overall nice experience

Flying fox Neemrana was a great experience. Coach/ instructors Mr Deepak and Mr ChandraVeer were most professional , patient , lively and accommodating. These boys deserve special note for their professionalism. Mr ChandraVeer regaled us with local stories of the zip area while Deepak helped less avid trekkers , pulling people stopping short of destination on the lines and laughing along with the group. Flying fox Neemrana deserves five out of five for safety, adventure , procedure , location and paisa wasul😊!!!

I visited the place around 4 years ago. I booked for the tickets in advanced. There is a Trek of around 30 minutes. You will get very tired easily if you havenot been into any physical activity since long. The instructors were amazing and very patient. The zipline experience was great. With the zipline tickets I had the chance to visit the Palace too. The Palace was very beautiful.

Hukum and Nischyal made the experience even more memorable. The weather was amazing so it made it whole lot better. But it can get really hot in june july.
There are a total of 5 ziplines. Enjoy the spectacular views while ziplining

Great experience. Brilliant instructors (Madan and Suraj)
Note: There's a 15-20min trek to the top. Nothing too intensive, but just to inform.
Abhinav Chawla — Google review
Little costly but worth it, as it comes in combination with Fort entry... There are total 5 zips, though only 2 are longer but still 5 zips satisfy your gut.... Initially tracking to the mountain top feels like tiring, but it's worth taking ride...
Ankit Paliwal — Google review
Zip lining at Neemrana is a must do. Flying fox was awesome at it. The training, instructors, facilities (like harness, gloves and even water bottle) were all too good.
The hike up till the zip line was a bit tiring, about 750m of climbing, but it was totally worth it. The views from each of the 5 zip lines were amazing.
2 tips: follow the instructions given by your guides regarding posture, or you'll find yourself pulling on the zip..
and, choose to zip when it's not too sunny as it becomes difficult to climb when it's too hot.

Super relaxing activity. The experience is not adrenalinic, but it sure has very nice views. The staff is very kind and helpful. Nish and Hukum (apologies for spelling errors) were with us, making us feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I would do it again.

When we checked about 2 weeks ago, the palace was closed for renovation. However the palace is accessed through Sariska Tiger Reserve forest. So we undertook a safari jeep ride to explore the jungle. It turned out an excellent step, as the greenery was just too much, and we could spot a number of birds and sambar deers.
AJAY GAUR — Google review
Nothing special, all the authenticity of the place is far gone in its so so-called renovation. The small (few km) car-ride from main gate to fort is better than the fort itself. Yes if u have time surely go there, have a better look at the city and if lucky you can site dears on the way.

A must visit place in in Alwar town. Not exactly in the town, just a twenty minute drive from the city. The fort is.under renovation now. It is going to take another year to complete it. Still it is worth visiting it. The location of the fort is inside the buffer zone of Sariska sanctuary. The best way to visit the fort and surrounding forest area is to use the gypsy safari. Reach there before 10 in the morning and gypsy ride and guide will be readily available. Cost is 1400 for a two hour ride and it is worth to the last cent. Sufficient parking is available outside the entry gate, park your vehicle there close your eyes and take the gypsy safari. Six people can seat comfortably in it. The fort is closed but you can enter and offer worship in the ancient temple inside. There is a rudraksha tree inside the fort premises.

A small fort located at the mountain top in Aravali ranges. During the clear and good weather, you can get a nice and beautiful view of Alwar city down. There is nothing much to see inside. There is a small temple and some nicely decorated walls and pillars. The photos of course come classic. They do provide open jeep safari to reach to the fort but if you have your own vehicle, I would suggest to just take your own vehicle. It is cheaper and better.

Bala Fort was built by Hasan Khan Mewati in the 15th century. This fort is situated on the Aravalli Mountains above the city of Alwar.
The most special thing about this fort is that it has also been ruled by Marathas, Yadavs and Kachwaha Rajputs. Built on a hill 1000 feet high from the ground, this fort has a radius of about 6 miles.
Bala Fort in Alwar is a heritage site that has stood the test of time. The fort is perched atop a hill and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Siliserh Lake is a serene destination that boasts of a historical palace and is popular for boating, wildlife, and nearby accommodation facilities. The lake lies nestled amidst mountains on either side, providing shelter to several exotic species of birds and water creatures like crocodiles. Visitors can witness the breathtaking sunrise over the tranquil waters of the lake while observing different bird species engaging in their morning activities.
One of the best sight scene viewpoints in Alwar District. A very popular weekends gateway for visitors especially in the rainy season and summers.
Boat ⚓ riding Is one of the eye capturing feature here. you can have an amazing boat ride with your friends and family with 8 pax maximum In a boat and enjoy boat riding.
There are a lot of food stalls that are available and serve good quality snacks and beverages outside the lake.
Not so far from Delhi, Gurgaon. You can plan a single day to visit this place and enjoy your weekend or holiday here.

Beautiful lake with serene beauty. Boat ride is strongly recommended. The best part is the boat ride which takes you for a ride around the lake. Entry to the lake is 100 rupees per person and there are different ranges for the boats. The normal boat with a capacity of 08 people costs 1200 rupees for 10 minutes and the speed boats costs 2000 rupees. We did go during the sunset and it was an incredible experience.

Siliserh लेक 🏞️ / 🌄 सिलिसेर Lake - situated between mountain ⛰️ cover from either side and is home to varies 🦆 species of birds / 🐊 crocodile and other water species.
I visited here on a recent trip to Sariska, due to the moutain cover on majority sides the 🌞 sunrise is just beautiful over here.
We got to sight different water 🦚 birds feeding and making activity 🦢 in the morning.
Due to ongoing 🏗️ commercial activity found that there are plastic waste spread on the banks of lake which will cause an impact on this natural heritage which Government and people should take a collaborative cognizance and work together.
Vineet Mishra — Google review
Siliserh lake is situated 8 miles southwest of Alwar. It cover an area of about 7 (up to 10 square km with good monsoon) square km and are flanked by dense woodland and cenotaphs on its embankment.
It was Built in 1845 by Maharaja Vinay Singh, the then-ruler of Alwar, by constructing an embankment/bund on tributary of river Ruparel. The lake and the aqueducts that surround it were built to provide water to Alwar. The lake is flanked by its namesake palace, which was built at the king for his wife.Palace is now converted to Rtdc hotel. Boating facility also available.
Tourists generally visit the Neemrana Palace, the Sariska National Park and Jai Samand Lake before or after exploring the beautiful Siliserh Lake.
The lake is about 30 to 40 minutes away from the city of Alwar. There is an entry fee of INR 100 to reach the lake site. Being a tourist place, there is a boating ride also available for the tourists. A typical six-seater motor boat ride can be bought at INR 800 which lasts for about 30 minutes.
Sure, the boat ride if one of the best things to do to enjoy this expansive lake. But, bird watchers can bring their camera to capture the sights of the migratory birds and more species of winged creatures. The lake site generally remains windy and the water is quite clear. The presence of Aravalli Hills in the backdrop of the lake is perfect to enjoy a picnic on a pleasant day out. The lake is also home to crocodiles in some parts; the boatmen ensure they do not ferry the tourists in the reptile-infested areas.
There is a restaurant at the lake site which serves humble Rajasthan cuisine. Also, the palace is also worth visiting. Tourists from Delhi can easily reach Siliserh Lake in about three and a half hours.
The best time to visit the lake site is in the cooler months starting from November to February.

You will find a lot monkeys roaming around there. So be careful and keep your snacks in the bag else they will try to snatch from you.

Nestled on the outskirts of Alwar en route to the Sariska Tiger Reserve, offers a captivating experience. The natural lake, cradled by the Aravali hills, presents a mesmerizing panorama.
Rumors of crocodiles add an intriguing element. The RTDC Hotel, Lake Palace, provides comfortable accommodation and dining choices, enhancing the overall stay. The culinary options are commendable, and alternative lodging can be found on the opposite side of the lake.
However, the presence of numerous monkeys, limited parking, and occasional fog obscuring the view are notable drawbacks.

Spent three days here. Sariska is a charming and peaceful locale & this resort comes well recommended when on a visit.
Was a lovely experience because of outstanding hospitality by the entire resort staff who smilingly and eagerly took up all our requests.
Infact this very aspect has made the resort a truly memorable place for us.
The resort features pleasant rooms, a pool, big lawns and a scenic backdrop of the Aravalli mountains.
Another thing which we really enjoyed were all the meals there, which were uniformly excellent. Different cuisines were served. Coupled with this was the very inviting way in which all guests were looked after in the Dining Hall.
Rajasthani folk dance & popular music, a DJ and dance floor and provisions for private bonfires in the lawns made things festive at night.

It has three zones. July to September safari is closed, however Jeep Safari is allowed straight to pandupol Hanumanji Mandir and back . It's about 21 km from gate. Every Tuesday and Saturday through out year private vehicles are allowed by paying a fee of RS 380 to Hanumanji Mandir and back. Safari is conducted in two shifts morning starts around 6 am and noon shift around 3 pm. It is for app 3 hours

It is lovely place to explore, don't expect much in terms of spotting a Tiger. As Sariska is a huge area and limited tigers are there. As per my recent trips only 12 tigers are there in the whole Sariska Reserve.
But Jeep Safari is enjoyable and much fun. If you are planning to go there, better visit in Summer as Summer is the best time to spot the Tiger.

(Tuesday and Saturday) you can also take your own car to the Sariska Tiger Reserve

There is one cafe for snacks and tea/ coffee, one shop for collections of mementoes of sariska. One gallery for information of the birds of animals of this national park, there is toilet and parking facilities, but parking is chargeable 50 Rs. This place is in front of sariska palace decorated for photography, neelgai, sambar deer and spotted dear was found to moving freely in this area.
Be careful for monkeys,

Did not see a single tiger...rather disappointing, plenty of monkeys, deers got a bit boring after a while to be honest. They should use drones to track their tigers.

Overall experience is good. If you want zipsy then book it in advance otherwise canter will available. Just check time slots before visiting. Chances of tiger sighting is low but if you have you are lucky enough you can
Mohit Yadav — Google review
There are 2 slots for the safari. One at 6:30 and another at 13:30. Gypsies can be only booked online. In-person booking only offers canter vans. It is recommended to book your slot one day prior (if online) or you can book on the same day (if offline).
The safari is of a good 150 to 180 minutes and gypsies offer a better experience than canter vans.

Wonderful experience. One of the best jungle safari. Guide was really nice. Carry water with you on safari as it gets really hot during this time of the year on afternoons rides. There are two different times one in morning and other one in afternoon. Please check timings before coming to safari gate.

Bhangarh Fort is a complex of historical significance, built in 1631, featuring the remains of Hindu temples, royal palaces and tombs. Located about 1.5 hours away from Jaipur, this landmark is rumored to be one of India's most haunted places but it has been well-maintained and offers beautiful views. It is advisable to take a government-approved guide who can narrate interesting stories about the place while exploring its ruins.
Beautiful place and well maintained. No need to be scared of Ghosts. However, would recommend to take a Govt approved Guide with you. You will enjoy the stories, he will narrate.

This place is often claimed to be the most haunted place in this country.
The tales of this place are famous all over India. A must visit for nature lovers and all the curious minds out there.
I would recommend to hire a guide to know more about the famous haunted story of this place. Also visit in monsoon or winters as there is no place to protect yourself from heat in summers.
Tip - Carry lots of your own water.

I had a long time wish to visit this " Haunted" fort, so made it on October 2nd.
Far from being haunted, it's a well constructed fort, built in a lovely natural location, surrounded by lush green hills forming a natural Boundary.
Though it is partly ruined, with buildings having NO roofs, it's a very nicely designed fort, well laid out buildings, market place, temples, etc, with exquisite architecture, paintings on walls, roof, etc.
The whole complex seems to have experienced a natural disaster like earthquake, bringing down buildings & in turn killing all people, hence the stories about being haunted.
Visit it if you get a chance, it's beautiful.
Sanjoy Bhattacharya — Google review
It's probably the most peaceful attraction in India. Even though it's one of the most haunted places in the world, it's really worth a visit during the day. The city must have been very gigantic in the past. Get a local tour guide so you would enjoy the interesting story behind it. Night visits are not allowed. Try to come out before dawn.

Was expecting to experience negative vibes or atleast spookiness of the place due to such a widespread rumours of the place itself.
But was pleasently surprised by how well kept and beautiful the place is in actuality.
Once in a lifetime visit! There are no ghosts, just enjoy your visit to this historic place and it's innumerable tales.

So Beautiful Place
Easy walking (there are steps) a visit is max 2 hours. You’ll see the royal palace, 2-3 temples, fortifications, and where the people used to live. Not much signage. Need a guide. Best to visit around 7-7:30 to avoid heat and crowds.
No water or toilets.

A publicity gimmick to make it sound haunted and attract more tourists. However, if people loved ruins then this place would be their go-to spot! But who love ruins, isn't it?
P.S. I do and manager to get some amazing photographs of the Bhangarh Fort. It wasn't haunted at all rather very beautiful ❤️

Firstly I would like to advise you take atleast 2 filled and chilled water bottles with you .It's a good place but not to interesting like you can go there on normal days but I would like to advise you don't go there on you special day . I saw many reptiles and insects in real like bat and this worm 🪱. Go there on a good weather day . And you have to buy tickets for 2 times. While parking your vehicle and while entering. You can't park anywhere around because it's not allowed . Hope it was helpful. Thank you ✨

Bhangarh fort is around 90 km from Jaipur( Raj) and it’s a must visit place if you like history like me. The place is beautiful in winters and monsoon surrounded by lush green hills. The place is maintained by Archaeological Survey of India.
It’s said to be the most haunted place which is a lie. There is nothing called ghosts here. People tend to believe that all forts and palaces have spirits etc etc but that’s not true. Beautiful historical place to be visited. 2-3 hours is good time to roam around.

Things to carry _ water bottles. Mint chocolates, fruits or biscuits if you have small child or elderly age people etc. Its difficult to find drinking water here.
But do not throw any where. Use dustbins
It is worth visiting if you get a chance, it's beautiful.

Dear Rajasthan Tourism Department you can still do better. We from far from state know better than the information you put. Anyways it's a huge place of ruins, A whole village it is, be aware of bat's and monkeys even though they don't do anything to you it's better to be careful.

A stunning abandoned fort on the shadows of the Aravalli Hills, the ruins include rows of old bazar buildings, temples, gates, gardens and a palace.
The location, setting, strangler fog trees and overall appeal make this place otherworldly and something out of a movie set.
Come during the end of the day towards sunset and the entire place is yours, but leave before it’s completely dark or else you might be locked in which will be a bad idea.

Little bit walk required here. Also with uphill side. Ample parking space available with 50 rs charges fort tickets 20 rs and child upto 15 yrs free. Fort tickets can be bought online also near window. Be aware from monkeys. I don't think guide is much required or u mAy get around 100-200 rs. Low availability of food here. Get some snacks together. Bit isolated space. Some scenic photography you may have. U can climb fort at your own risk as steps not there properly beyond few stairs.

The fort's grounds are peaceful throughout the day because of the little waterfall and temples that have been painstakingly sculpted there. The ruins of a few palaces located inside the fort are convincing evidence of the fort's former glory. The fort's peaceful daytime environment and the fact that it is an architectural masterpiece would have made it a popular tourist destination.

Bhangarh fort is situated in Aravali hills in Alwar district. The fort has been made famous as it’s termed a most ‘haunted’ fort of India or even Asia.
It is a ruined fort city with five temples, a bazar, Purohit Ki Haveli, Nathan ki Haveli and a reconstructed palace.
Interesting to note that no statues are available inside the temples or in palace. Bazaar and Havelis are roofless.
Fort was constructed in 1573 by Raja Bhagwant Das. It is not clear as to how and when the fort was abandoned.
Guide may tell interesting stories of black magic, tantric and ghosts which are amusing. Better hear from him and enjoy!
Scenery is beautiful.
Opens at 9 in the morning and closes by 5 or 5.30 depending on season.
Charges for parking and entry.
No restaurant inside or nearby.
Afternoons are hot.

Bhangarh fort was established by Madho Singh, the younger brother of Man Singh. It was a planned city with walls all around and four gates. It was a busy commercial center of its time. Folklore has it that it was cursed by a hermit who lived on the nearby hill top and the fort became deserted overnight. It became a ghost town and still now has the distinction of being labelled as one of the most haunted places on Earth. There are four temples inside the fort but only one, the Someshwar Mahadev, has a deity in it. No one is allowed to stay in the fort after sunset and only eight guards remain at the main gate, near a Hanuman temple. There have been reports of many paranormal activities & accidents in the past but the last twenty years or so have not witnessed any such things. The fort is maintained in a very good condition and the tickets are reasonably priced at ₹25/-. Private parking is also available @ ₹100/- per vehicle. It is around 100 km from Alwar and 30 km from Dausa on Alwar Dausa road. The road condition is not good.

It is a great tourist attraction. And I loved the story behind it. I don’t consider it haunted but it’s a mysterious place and I had a wonderful experience over there.
There are local people who tells the story behind the fort, don’t miss to hear the true and honest story of the fort from them.

There is nothing worth seeing there. Earlier everyone used to roam here for free but now minimum charges are taken from everyone about 50/_ by tourist & by local person they charge 25/_ and there are also parking charges 50/_
Bhangarh is a ruined palace.
Tourists come here with great enthusiasm and leave disappointed because they do not get anything to see.
The biggest thing is that there is no ghost here. This is just an illusion of the mind

This place has a history. Not very haunted, but it's better if you take a guide along who can share the story behind bhangarh being haunted. There are many stories with different versions. The guide asked for 400, but we paid 300/-. A lot of walking is required here. It can take around 1-2hours to cover the complete place.

Visited with friends on a weekend. It was bustling with crowd, big enough parking. Lots of monkeys and langoor, so take care of your immediate belongings.
Good walk till top of fort from where u get a good aerial view. There are few chambers where u still feel silence and vacuum even when people are outside. It opens at 6 am and last entry is till 5 pm.

2 hours away from Jaipur city. The fort is mainly ruins. Famous for the haunted story and mainly the movie Karan Arjun movie set was on this fort.
Need a full day to visit here, no other site seeing you can include in this trip. If you have extra time in hand then you can visit here. Otherwise not much to see.
Now Guides are available there. They charge differently depending on the tourist. So bargain hard.
Otherwise if you know the fort background story then you can roam around also.
Beware of Monkeys. Don't carry foods.
