Hạ Long Bay – an internationally renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam – is home to hundreds of limestone islands, crystal-clear waters and world-renowned diving and climbing spots. Day cruises and overnight cruises are the best way to see the bay and its many attractions.
Very beautiful. If possible do an overnight cruise that allows you to visit sunrise and sunset and visit the island. Price of the cruises can range significantly. Go during good weather and be awarded with amazing views.

A bit disappointing with the view as I might be expecting too much (as it's the world heritage). The cave is wonderful, the bay is so so, nothing WOW 😅
The port is nice and very big but it's very crowded with tourists.

A marvel of nature's creation this place is a must go for anyone visiting Hanoi. You can book any good 2 day cruise package and enjoy the scenic beauty of this amazing location at various times of the day. It's picturesque beauty can be captured from the cruise boat or from Titop beach.

Ha Long Bay is a breathtaking natural wonder located in northeastern Vietnam. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations.
Here are some key features and activities you can experience in Ha Long Bay:
-scenic view
-cruise tours
-islands and caves
-kayaking and swimming
-sunsets and sunrises

We took one day tour to Ha Long Bay. After getting on board of cruise we had lunch which was good and after that we stopped at one island where there was option of hiking or swimming. We did hiking which was tough and excruciating but view from above was worth it. After that second stop was there where there was option of Kayaking or Bamboo boat and we chose Kayaking which was awesome experience and last stop was the caves. Caves were fabulous and worth seeing.

Located off the beaten path, this island is a serene retreat with sandy beaches and crystalline waters, offering an ideal setting for kayaking and swimming.
Must visit in Vietnam 🇻🇳
Himanshu Verma — Google review
Ha Long Bay is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam. I was so impressed by the islands even when our cruise ship entered the bay. So many beautiful rocks and islands seem to pop up from the ocean. It is even better when we have a local cruise boat that can bring us up close to those islands, and our activities are delightful and fun.
Michael W. — Google review
This place was a fishing village before tsunami. The residents have been relocated and given opportunity by the government to continue earning a living at sea by becoming canoe paddlers. We can meet former residents of fishing villages when the boat leaning on a pier near the caves.
It is not as we we expected. The distance, the view of the cave is not meet our expectations. If you look closely, you will turns out that the dirty water -even though the color is still green-. There was some kind of oil layer, floating at top of the water, some sort of waste that might have come from our boats. With this water conditions, I don't know if it's safe to swim here. It's a shame the world heritage is not well maintained even though it has entered UNESCO protection.

Ha Long Bay natural heritage is one of the main attractions in Vietnam. Mesmerising and stunning views of ocean and mountains. Lots of cruise and boat tours available. Must visit destination. Recommended.

Beautiful and must visit spot!
Choose you’re cruise carrier carefully.
The water in the bay aren’t very clean and clear as expected. And the ones who jumped in to swim ended up smelling bad.
It’s a beautiful nature phenomenon that is a must go to in North Vietnam.
Staying on a ship for the night was really special and made our wake-up moment in front of the mountains unforgettable

I booked a tour through the hotel I stayed at in Hanoi. The drive there was calm, and not too long, just about 2 hours. We took a boat out to the islands. There was a pearl shop tour before the boat, which has a lot of nice jewelry. Lunch was served on the boat, and then they took us kayaking. I would recommend this for sure.

With more than stunning 1,600 islets raising up from emerald waters make this natural wonder worthy of a UNESCO World Heritage listing as unforgettable experience
I took a full day cruise booked online, my recommendation is to choose for premium day cruise to enjoy the trip of the amazing Halong Bay. Don’t forget to check the best month to go here ✌️👌

Beautiful!! Even the rain didn’t ruin the scenery instead it added a hint of mystique. We liked the “kissing rock. There’s a cave there that’s very cool too.

Stunning landscape. We had a wonderful cruise combined with kayaking, boat tour and other activities. One of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. The only negative is the amount of litter tourists leave behind, which is a shame.

Breathtaking experience. It was another level all together.
We stayed over night in the cruise.
We boarded the ship, went to caves, been to ti top island.
We had cooking activity in the cruise night. Our cruise was surrounded by the other cruise and the view was breathtaking in the evening. Had all the facilities inside the cruise.
It might be very difficult for vegetarians to survive. Need to rely only on Bread Jam.

Cannot recommend enough!!! Can’t believe I didn’t review about this place after being there for like 10 times in my whole life 😝😝😝 highly recommend overnight cruise and visit caves and hidden beaches around this bay 🥰🥰🥰

Splendid. Breathtaking. Marvellous. A true wonder that is not to be missed.
I totally recomment the 2 days/ 1 night cruise at least to fully enjoy the setting.
Paid 128$ for the cruise everything included except drinks...and you get a lot of food.
You get to visit a cave, go to a small island beach and viewpoint. Learn to cook spring rolls. Fish in the sea. And in the morning you will visit a pearl farm and enjoy kayaking in the bay.
A mesmerizing experience.

Went as part of our tour. It was an overnight stay on a boat out quite some distance in the bay. It is a stunning area and the trip through the many islands is amazing. I would recommend an overnight stay on a boat as we found the staff excellent in every way. On our boat we had great food and a cooking demonstration which we found participate in. The highlight was actually just sitting on the top deck with our other tour members just watching the sun set and then seeing all the other tour boats ( and there were many) with their lights on in the dark.

This has a great reputation and the beauty and scenery lives up to expectations. We had three or four really wonderful boat rides around the islands one particularly attractive one at sunset. Just a beautiful place.

Dramatic seascapes of towering limestone pillars jutting from emerald waters. Thousands of these karst formations create a mystical scenery, dotted with hidden grottoes, secluded beaches, and floating villages. Cruise options allow exploration of the bay's beauty, while kayaking and spelunking offer adventurous activities. Ha Long Bay is also steeped in local myths and legends, making it a destination rich in both natural wonder and cultural heritage.

Breathtaking magnificent scenery of limestone mountains rising from emerald water at Ha Long Bay, a Unesco World Heritage site. Hạ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi), including 1,969 islets, most of which are limestone. Ha Long means descending dragon.
CK Cheong — Google review
Famous area. A day cruise is sufficient to see everything, unless you want to experience sleeping on a boat. We did a day cruise from Hanoi hosted by Vietnam Tonkin Tours and it was great
Fred Liu — Google review
This was one of the the attractions I was most anticipating. Was unlucky with the overcast weather and absence of the standard warmth of the season. Still the boat cruise was smooth, with non obstructed views due to the off season. Would return again, in the peak season as the views with the weather would be magnificent
Adam Brown — Google review
Totally worth it! You should come here whenever you have the chance to visit Vietnam! The scenery is so beautiful. You can have lunch in the boat, then take smaller boats to see the caves. It’s breathtaking!
Nadya Janitra — Google review
So amazing place to visit to see nature! To see how the limestone cliffs just go straight up from the sea is magnificent! So much different to see while cruising between them, and you can go for an option of kayaking between them, that was so amazing even though we were a little bit unlucky with the weather!

Cát Bà Island is a beautiful place in Ha Long Bay with excellent hiking trails and stunning views. It is part of Cat Ba National Park, one of the world's most important biosphere reserves.
I have lived and worked on this island for 11 years, as a person who likes to explore beautiful places, historic sites on this island I feel like a paradise for beauty lovers. nature and want to learn the epic war history of the Vietnamese people. The friendly and hospitable Cat Ba people are happy to welcome you from all over the world.
KingCong Cat Ba — Google review
I have read some negative reviews about this island being overcrowded, expensive and dirty. Well, the reason is that most of these reviews come from tourists going to touristic places, staying at touristic hotels and buying from touristic stores. If you want a real experience then you have to be away from tourists! Try to do some research and find good spots to visit. We had a great time exploring the jungle and one of the caves in an unpopulated area. The scenery of the mountains and the sounds of the birds are breath taking.

If you're planning for retirement, please reconsider to this island everything was affordable inclusive of property. People are friendly quiet environment, beaches and mountain surrounding this wonderfull paradise.

A picturesque place. Peaceful calm, ideally for both couples and family. Best part is it is also very budget friendly. You can spend a week in less than 500 dollars for a couple while staying in good hotels and good food
Aamir Masood — Google review
If you’re an experienced traveller, you’ll probably think this area overrated. There is no landscape or city that will create a wow moment. Nevertheless, it is a relaxing place with a couple of things to see (town/beaches). I would not stay more than 2 days.

DescriptionCát Bà Island is the largest of the 367 islands spanning 260 km2 that comprise the Cat Ba Archipelago, which makes up the southeastern edge of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam. Cat Ba island has a surface area of 285 km2 and maintains the dramatic and rugged features of Ha Long Bay. Cat Ba Island has been included in the itinerary of many Ha Long Bay cruises and a strip of tall, thin, five-storey budget hotels line the seafront, receiving more than 350,000 visitors a year.
Nithin Chandra SR — Google review
Everything you read about Cat Ba mentions gorgeous beaches and crystal clean waters. It is far from it. The beaches are littered, and the water is mostly brown. We visited the first of three big beaches. It is small and filled with people, causing traffic havoc as more arrive. The main thing to do is boat trips which is what we want for. It was enjoyable, but if we had known what we know now, we would not have gone at all. We tried to choose sustainable activists as tourists, but unfortunately, travelling to Cat Ba merely adds to the situation.
Gabriel Lawson — Google review
Extremely busy, dirty and noisy. Avoid on weekends at all costs. Waters surrounding are heavily polluted. May appeal to some but we didn't enjoy our stay.
Ken Winning — Google review
Sod Halong!!! This is much easier and less touristy (and cheaper) if you want to see the bays. Soooo glad we opted for Cat Ba.....what an AMAZING experience, absolutely mind-blowingly beautiful!!! ❤️
Family of Six Travelling Nomads! — Google review
I really like this place very beautiful and peaceful, on the main island of Cat Ba there is a small town, but quite modern. People here live by seafaring and tourism, they are trying to catch up with the hustle and bustle of tourists from outside arriving on the island. However, the service here is not always good, when experiencing the restaurant here you should pay the price before ordering.

A must visit destination if coming to the north region
Situated a few hours from the capital, Cat Ba Island is an amazing place with a number of activities to do and sightseeing including a ever-green national park ( NP ) having very good views and treks, an amazing promenade giving the city view, a few beaches, i.a.
The most popular ( and the cheapest and feasible ) way to reach here is by a bus ( and then a boat, and then again by a bus ) which comes as a whole package, which run regularly from Hanoi. However, I took a way which can be called a long-cut but it allowed me to explore both the cities more and get a experience of the Vietnamese trains.
It took me about 2.5 hrs to reach Haiphong, and then a mile-walk to the ferry station, only to come to know that ferries weren't working on that day. However, taking a ferry means more requirement of transfers and extra walk, as they won't go as close the boats go and take long time. Boat transfers by private agencies are about three per day, and it took me around 12.00 pm to reach the Cat Ba town.
Ideally two to three days are recommend to explore here, one whole day for Cat Ba national park and the two caves, one day for the rock climbing and other sea activities, the beaches and local village sightseeing, and one for Lan Ha Bay tour. I did former and latter including a visit to just 1 beach. The slopes are sharp at most of the places in the city centre although the main road is wide and good to ride on. A night walk along the long promenade is recommended, and it allows one to immerse in fresh air and take a good view of the city.
The island has something for all the budgets including good hostels and hotels from as low as c $5 and c $12 respectively, and from street food to decent to fancy restaurants and bars all along the main road. Public transport is very limited, however getting a bicycle or motorbike on rent is easy and at very good rates. The plush hotels are situated a bit away from the city centre and have private beaches.
Overall, its a refreshing and affordable destination.

We really enjoyed our time in Cat Ba Island. It was recommended to us by a local in Hanoi in order to see Ha Long Bay on a budget. She was right! Full day cruises were a lot cheaper starting in Cat Ba and we had a chance to experience this quiet, seaside town. The locals are lovely and very hospitable and you will find anything you need on the island - it's full of small restaurants and cute cafes, there's grocery shops and pharmacies. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly seaside trip, a little relaxing weekend on the beach or a starting point before heading to Ha Long Bay.

Good way to spend a couple of hours walking to the jungle with great nature sounds. A nice viewpoint over the gorge and good waterfall. Footing tricky in places so not really suitable for flip flops. We biked there from phnom nha just a 500 metre stretch that was too steep without gears

Such an amazing place to visit. The cave is breathtaking and you will feel so cool inside.

Preservation is possible without charging 1650000d for a simple hike of a few hours, and this is the cheapest option - the proper hikes for 2-3 days are available around 500 USD. Absolutely ridiculous pricing everywhere, and not a singele indipendend hike available, left that cashtrap called Phong Nha the next day.
This park is all about quick tourist money. The surroundings are beautiful though, what a shame i could only enjoy it off of the motorbike.

This was my top one or two favorite places to see in China. Though from the outside. I paid for the ride to the top of the tower but they have other things that block the view. If I had to go back and do it all over again I might still go to the top just one time, but truly the best view is from outside.

This building is one of the highest TV tower in the world with 604 metres tall. There is nothing around it, not suitable for Sightseeing at the round, if you would like to get in and go up to it so you will have to pay about 200 Yuan for a person during 1 hour at dinner time, it would be fantastic and you will see the view of all the city.

Really unprofessionally run golf club ,no one really speaks English and the whole time everyone is trying to scam money from you for services that aren’t really provided
At one stage I was surrounded by 3 staff members demanding that I give them all the cash I had on me
In the end I paid over $400 Australian dollars for a game of golf and to hire some clubs that looked like they came out of a thrift store at best as nothing matched I just had 11 random clubs in a bag with a broken Odessay putter and a caddy
There is no ATM in the club and yiu can’t call a taxi to pick you up at the end either

番禺蓮花山高球會The Lotus Hill Golf Club at PanYu in China just simply unsafe:
1. They didn’t pick up members , no shuttle bus provide, even they have made a reservation
As the AGM, Gary, he represented the club and claimed that even if the members make a reservation, they don’t necessarily have to provide the pick-up service .
Gary basically responded to members’ complaints about his ill management style by shirking responsibility, and made a lot of excuses.
2. Their front door carpet is wet and slippery, they did Not keep it dry and put a sign , it cause member to slip, fell and injured quite seriously.
3. No staff or medication or first aid service provided to member after the injury. There was no help, no medical treatment, no one even attempted to check on the injured person cause by their slippery floor.
4. Poor Room utilities, the water volume from the tub was so small, and the cold and hot water was basically either extremely cold/ hot, very unstable and uncontrollable.
5. INSURANCE, In no part of the conversations with Gary had he mentioned about the venue insurance that had the resort/ golf course covered.
6. Extremely poor caddie service and attitude, not professional at all.

I loved visiting this park! I wish I had allotted more time to spend here, it was super difficult to get around the park, but beautiful. The 5 rams statue, temples and ponds were so nice. There was so much to do and see. It's very well manicured.
I wish the country had better animal laws/programs, I got into an argument with a man over a cat (someone translated) and there was no where for me to take the cat which still bothers me. I didn't hold that against the rating however.

The mosque is very fascinating place especially on Fridays. It was named after a great sahabah of the prophet Saa'd Bn Abi Waqas. After the Jumaat Prayer there is usually congregational dhikr. On Fridays, the Road to the mosques is usually filled up with Halal food vendors in various cuisine and flavours.

13 AUG 2016 I went there its overall beautiful place . People dont know English Much .Strolling in Yuexiu Park is one of the free things to do in Guangzhou. As the largest park in Guangzhou, in addition to enjoying the natural landscape, you can view the Five Rams Sculpture in Yuexiu Park, which is one of the most famous sculptures and the symbol of the city. The vibrant trees, placid lakes, as well as green mountains offer a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy the leisure time. After visiting the picturesque scenes, you can visit the Guangzhou Museum and old city wall in the park. The museum needs a entrance ticket for CNY 10 per person. In addition, some entertainment projects are good options for those people who take children.

Beautiful Church in the middle of Guangzhou.
Michelle — Google review
Located at Yide Road near the Haizhu Square in the city center, this beautiful over 130-year-old Roman Catholic cathedral is a holy and peaceful site in the bustling and busy urban area. From our hotel at Qiaoguang road, we walked here within 15mins of leisurely paced walk.
The cathedral was nice, aka the Notre Dame of Guangzhou (similarly to that in Ho Chi Minh City) with the same architectural style. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, the Cathedral was closed to the public for some private events and so we could not stand outside to take photos and read the intro from the information plagues.
And along the section of the cathedral was small square with 2 rows of shophouses and cafes and right next was a long stretch of shophouses selling dried foods, toys and stationery which was very crowded, noisy and full of vibes but within the cathedral area, it was quiet and peaceful, what a contrast, all within 100-120m of distance!

visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Guangzhou recently and was really impressed by its beauty and grandeur. The cathedral is made entirely of granite, which gives it a unique and striking appearance. The interior is just as impressive, with a soaring nave and beautiful stained glass windows.
The cathedral is a popular tourist destination, and it can get crowded during peak hours. However, it's still worth a visit, even if you're just taking a quick look from the outside. The cathedral is a reminder of the rich history and culture of Guangzhou, and it's a truly special place to experience.

It's a must-go if you visit Guangzhou! It's quite far from the city (around 1 hour trip by metro) but it's totally worth it! Plan a day to visit this place and another of the Chimelong Parks or the Chimelong Circus. It is huge! You should allocate at least 5 hours to see most of the attractions, and there are some shows that run on specific schedules. The Safari ride is amazing! You get to see the animals from very close range and you get crazy looking at both sides of the road! There is so much to see that words wouldn't be enough to describe it, just go see it by yourself, you won't regret it!

The drive-in part is rather short... we stopped at each area a good 10ish minutes and we're done in less than 90 minutes? So the extra US$50 to enter with a private car is not exactly a bargain, but definitely worth it...
The animals don't come to your car; they tell you to stay inside your car, but almost everyone sticks their head out of the sunroof for a better view...
Their guided trains (20-30 minutes) are actually window-less and cage-less... seems pleasant
There are actually gaps between you and all the territorial animals (net barrier for tigers). There are nearly 30 giraffes roaming at the end and are barrier-free. My kids loved them and we spent the most time there...
we parked the car and entered the zoo on foot afterwards...
- white tigers jumping into a pool for food in front of you (gapped by glass)
- elephant show
- pandas
- free roaming sloths (something about they couldn't get away)
- feeding giraffes (again, my kids favorite)
- birds flying over our heads
- cable cars...
we had a whole bunch of food inside, the beef and veggie pizza was surprisingly decent

Expect to spend the whole day if you want to experience all the attractions inside. Lots of restaurants and good signage. It's best to visit off peak when there isn't a lot of people so you can get enough time to visit the animals without feeling rushed. Walking distance from the Hanxi Changlong metro station.

What an amazing parc
Easy to reach by metro line no 3.
Prices are different during weekdays and weekend/holiday days. Weekend at 350RMB pp discount for elderly and children. So it might turn out to be a somewhat expensive day trip, however, worth it. What a beautiful parc.
Best to start with a gondel trip to get a good impression of the parc. Directions are overall very well indicated. You will need a full day to see all. Lots of places to sit dow and relax. Also plenty of restaurants and snack/drink stalls. Food bit pricey.
The parc is very well maintained, animals have plenty of space and are very well looked after. They have a special white tiger program and also a special panda program to protect these endangered species. The tiger cubs are amazing.
There is an option to buy special tickets to also visit one of the other theme parks that are located next to the Safari park but that would for sure be too to do in one day. Hopefully you will
Enjoy as much as we did.

This park and its extensive "water features" cover about 25 acres/100 hectares. The one kilometre river interconnects with the two lakes and one bay. There are about 30 bridges built over these waterways! There are also many examples of Chinese pottery, porcelain and brick sculptures as well as a Bronze statue of Confucius. The gardens include an area devoted to Roses and another devoted to Orchids. There are also four halls which exemplify historic architecture and paintings. While the weekends are quite busy, the weekdays are much less so! It is accessible as one can go by Metro. A visit will enrich your memories of Guangzhou!!

OK look, its a park, lets remember that for context, but as parks go, this ranks pretty high and you are not likely to find one of similar quality anywhere close. The Museum of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen is a renowned tourist destination that showcases cultural relics, exhibition halls, and statues. It was once the home of China's 'Father of the Nation,' Sun Yat-sen, and has been preserved to offer visitors an insight into his life and times. The museum features various exhibits highlighting different aspects of Sun's life, including his political ideologies, academic pursuits, and contributions to China's modernization.

One of the most important place in modern Chinese history, there are several exhibition halls here including Dr. Suen old house, neighbourhoods’s house as well as a huge exhibition hall.
Apart from that, the museum also contains a demonstrating farm of the city of Zhongshan, showing how this industry developed in the city. It’s quite a good place to escape from city and its completely free entry.
Martin C — Google review
Dr. Sun Yat Sen was a revolutionary ahead of his time: democracy activist, world traveler, and educated man. He is still well-known among Chinese the world over. His activities and life took him from China, to Honolulu for education, to the United States for a speaking tour, and also to Hong Kong and Macau.
This museum is made of two parts: old folk structures from his youth and a modern building showing his community organizing during adulthood. Inside the folk houses: I learned that beds during his time didn't have mattresses or pillows-- one slept on a hard wooden bed with the head supported by a wooden or jade frame not much bigger than a chopstick holder. One of my favorite exhibits though was the bridal suite: two mannequins representing a newlywed husband and wife in red, and a sedan chair. There are also several display cases with models of what traditional Chinese feasts looked like, including winter festival, Ching Ming, wedding party, and Chinese New Year.
Inside the exhibition building: photographs, newspapers, statues, and literature from Dr. Sun's activist years. A museum shop sold trinkets like pens andbkeychains; I bought a little flashlight using button batteries. I was disappointed to see the books were only in Chinese as I wanted to buy an English biography or memoir of his life.

(Translated by Google) The advantage here is that there is no admission ticket. But you need to take a battery car, which is divided into two sections, and each section is charged separately - and the distance is the distance unless you are thinking about hiking, if not, you probably won't choose to travel - but it's okay for many people, I I think it should be a place where local people come to hike.
We have booked a car, so we can take the ten mosquitoes directly to the first section (which is called saving money), but we must take a battery car for the next section.
There is a Yutai Temple here. It feels very historical and not over-developed. You can take a battery car to the top of the mountain. It may not be the right time, because it is supposed to be famous for its red leaves, but there are obviously no red leaves here - although On the way down, there was a lot of greenery, and it was nice to breathe in the fresh air. However, the instructions were not clear. There was a lake on the way up, and I really didn’t know what it was. So we could only live along a lake and walk for a while, that’s it!
🔸The whole feeling is that this is a tourist attraction that has declined. There are very few electric cars and they are very infrequent. There is also a strange phenomenon. Basically, after you buy a car, you have to wait for 15 minutes before there is a car—— There was obviously a driver, but we didn't know how to drive. Even after we got in the car, there were other customers, but they didn't gather us. The next round of customers also had to wait for 15 minutes. Weird and cute rules.

Ruins of St. Paul's are a popular attraction in Macau, with its imposing stone facade and staircase that leads to the windows for a panoramic view of the city. The complex also houses a museum of religious artifacts.
Great piece of European history in Asia. this is the only european/asian mixed design. visiting around Chinese New Year provided additional surprises with CNY decorations.

We visited this landmark of Macao. Its UNESCO World Heritage Site, very busy place that day or maybe in general too? So Interesting and beautiful ! It is very unique, the old town mixed between the Chinese and Portuguese architectural styles. We also stopped at this unique Starbucks there and around that area we also found the delicious Portuguese Tart as shown in the pics 👌

A true heritage and historical places which reflect the eastern and western buildings back then. A must to visit if you come to Macau by any chance, drop by and take some pictures, shopping and enjoy their local snack. It was an amazing experience based on my opinion!

The facade of the ruins of St Paul was beautifully restored. The fact that only one wall of the church has been left standing makes it extremely unique. I found it very impressive. We were lucky to visit on a rainy day when fewer people were out and about, which allowed us to take photos with relatively few people in the frame.

The Ruins of St. Paul's Church. Built in the 17th Century by the Portuguese in honor of St. Paul. Burnt during world war II and the only remains is the facade of the church. This landmark commemorates to the spread of Christianity and The introduction of Catholic Religion by the Portuguese in Southern Province of China.

Super crowded place which not recommended to go if you intend to take photo.
However, if you enjoy View and food, is a nice place to be there. The pork steak bun was amazing and portion are quite big. As usual the biscuits selling was famous and taste was great as well. Don't miss the egg tart which is must try items.

Must-visit sight in Macao. The site is well-preserved and well-presented. Avoid weekend if you don’t want to see wall-to-wall crowd. The surrounding area offers the best deal for all the famous Macao snacks such as meat jerkies and almond cookies. Don’t make the mistake we made. We postponed our purchase thinking that we can get them later. Once we left the area, other places don’t offer the same deals.

Having travelled through South America and Europe this was not very surprising. It is definitely a must visit while in Macao but it is excessively crowded and it's hard to enjoy it with hundreds of people. I think the whole area must feel more special early in the morning or in the evening when crowds start thinning out.

Most crowded landmark in Macau. Came on a public holiday and it was overcrowded that the police have to implement a one way crowd control. It’s beautiful but the museum behind was very lack lustre. Would really suggest people to not go on a public holiday and at 12pm when the sun is so hot.

A UNESCO heritage place and a must-see historical attraction of Macao. You need to climb the steps to the ruins from which you can see a nice view at the city center. On Sunday day there were so many people though that it was hard to make a step without bumping into someone. Nice place but probably better to visit when there are no crowds around. Recommend - get some takeaway food and enjoy it on the steps.

- It’s pretty tall
- Gets very crowded with people and it’s hard to take picture. Come early
- Go from the pathway on the right side (When facing the church) and you can take a picture with less people albeit from a different angle.
- Lots of free sample for jerkies and almond cookies on the way up
- quite a few stairs to go up to the church but not steep.

Very cool place to visit! Honestly, I didn't find much else in the area to be that interesting, but these ruins were very cool. This remnant of a catholic church that was built in 1602 will transpose you into a microcosm of Renaissance architecture befitting if an ancient European city rather than modern day Macau. Must see sight!

One of Macau iconic place to visit, the Ruins of St Paul, which was built back in 1602. Today it is one of the "must see" landmarks in Macau and so it is usually very crowded. There's garden on the right side of the ruins (if you are facing the ruin) and we found that during sun set it is arguably one of the best locations to capture the landscape, the sunset and the ruins. Moreover, in the evening, there's backdrop light points at the ruins. This makes another great opportunity for night photography

Always nice to se and learn from Heritage sites.... This once in Macau is running from a church that was destroyed by fire...
Only the front facade is standing and it a good photo op...
Behind this is also a Chinese temple, which is really beautiful!

The Ruins itself is a marvel to behold, as one would not assume that such a structure could endure time despite its condition. As for the area, it is filled with so many tourists even at an early 9am, so it was hard to take good photos alone, that I had to sneak to the street on the left side of the ruins to get good photos alone.
Above the ruins, there is also a free mini-museum where you could see more parts of the ruins up close. You’ll just have to endure the multitude of tourists nearby.
Also, lots of souvenir shops in front by the stairs.

A-Ma Temple (Templo de A-Má) or Mazu Pavilion (A-Ma Go in the local dialect), is a historical iconic temple in Macau, which has rich religious elements of Chinese Taoism and Buddhism. According to legend, it was built for the convenience of worshiping Mazu by the Chinese fishermen who lived along the coast in the 15th century. Because they believed in Mazu as the "Goddess of the Sea", they must burn incense and worship before going fishing every day to pray for a good fishing result and safety. When the Portuguese landed in the local area, they mistranslated by slips of tongue to the local dialect "A-Ma Go" into "Macao", so it has become the current local name since then. Many Taoist and Buddhist statues are enshrined in the Mazu Temple, including Mazu, Avalokitesvara, Queen of Heaven and so on. It has always been devoutly worshiped and prayed by believers, and tourists burn incense to worship too, making the temple is filled with incense smoke. The temple building is full of classical style and is a scenic spot for tourists to take pictures. The open area of the temple is condescending and you can also see the beautiful scenery of the sea, and is also a good focus for photographers. (211122/x)

Lovely Daoist temple in old Macau. It has multiple levels to it so theres some climbing. It predates the Portuguese colonial town, and is a great example of local Chinese/Cantonese style temples in Macau.

Great historical site, well preserved temple with loads of interesting past of the taoist deity temple.
Great views from atop the temple and lots of stone carvings with meaningful words.

We walked from St. Joseph’s seminary and it’s only a 15 mins walk. Along the road you can see quite a lot of historic buildings. And this is a nice little temple, the first sight when the Portuguese saw when they came to Macao. Until now it is still attracting lots of worshippers.

Macao's A-Ma Temple is a magnificent and historic place of worship that deserves high praise for its stunning architecture, intriguing history, and important cultural significance.
Dating back over 500 years, this temple is one of the most well-preserved and revered examples of traditional Chinese architecture in the world. Its intricate carvings, vibrant colors, and sweeping roofs are a true marvel of craftsmanship and design, and offer visitors a breathtaking glimpse into a bygone era.
But the A-Ma Temple is much more than simply a beautiful building. It is a site of great historical and cultural importance, serving as a symbol of Macao's heritage and traditions. People from all over the world come to this temple to pay their respects to the goddess A-Ma, who is believed to protect sailors and bring good fortune. In this way, the temple is a testament to the city's longstanding connections to the sea and its role as a major center of trade and commerce.
For all these reasons and more, the A-Ma Temple is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Macao. Whether you are a history buff, a cultural enthusiast, or simply an admirer of beautiful architecture, this temple is sure to leave a lasting impression on all those who visit its hallowed grounds.

Beautiful, classic Chinese temple. Built in 15 century. Quite many people praying there. Can walk also on top of the hill behind, there is altar (and great views). Well worth visit.
The Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center is a bustling hub featuring shops, a cinema, and various dining options, including a revolving restaurant with stunning views. While the Outer Harbour used to offer picturesque vistas of boats on the Pearl River, it has undergone significant development with highways, skyscrapers, and attractions like the Macau Tower. For a more authentic experience, visitors are encouraged to explore the vibrant Inner Harbour area with its historic buildings and local businesses.
Located near the stunning lakeside of the southwestern shore, the Tower and Entertainment Center is one of the most exciting places to visit in Macau. It rises to a height of 338 meters, providing a glimpse of the fantastic skyline of Macau city. The view from up there is fantastic .

The best part about visiting Macau. I went of the sky walk and it was an amazing experience. Your guide will take lots of pictures for you and then give you them on a USB. Amazing thing to do!!!! My only tip would be that if I were to go again I would not take my bag with me as there are not a huge amount of lockers available.

One of the best places to view Macau's landscapes. Nice atmosphere inside the observation deck. You can also try bungee jumping, Skywalk to experience thrill adventures. You can get photo of your visit memory if you can pay around 100 MOP.

Fantastic 360 deg city view, especially at night. Two observation deck. Was very few people (week day, sunset time). No queue. Absolutely worth visiting.

Been here several times. The view from the observation deck is nice, however strongly recommend skywalk to see the view from outside.
Even if you are afraid, the instructors make really good mood and fun atmosphere. A small group will go out only, you have to book in advance. You get plenty of photos and great experience. The instructors speak perfect English and are very friendly.
For those who want more adrenalin, try skyjjump.

This was my second time here. It was on a weekday and there wasn’t any wait. There were some visitors but wasn’t crowded at all. It has a nice 360 indoor observation area and have a nice view of the vicinity. There is a bungee jump you could pay extra for. While we were there, I saw some people getting ready for it. There are also a glass floor area you could walk or step on, so you could look straight down. It is definitely a landmark for tourists. At the base of the tower, it connects to a mall with stores and restaurants.

Beautiful view from the top, it is definitely worth its price. There's indoor observation deck on floor 58 and outdoor one on floor 61. I personally enjoyed indoor much more, as the view is unobstructed and there are even glass panels in the floor, allowing you to see the ground directly under your feet. There's a possibility of bungee jumping or sky walk on the floor 61.

I highly recommend a walk along the outer ledge of the tower. It is a breathtaking experience not to forget. We booked the skywalk in advance so there was no problem getting in.
What wonderful people who work there! When you go to the heights, their support helped us a lot.
Thank them very much for their care, because they persuaded us to wear a jacket, it was very helpful, the wind was strong, we would have frozen and would not have been able to enjoy the walk. The attention to detail is top notch. My husband and I wear glasses, the guys could have just forbidden going out with glasses, but instead they gave us glasses mounts! Thank you!!!
The views are great, so there are several locations on the trail for photos, which the staff did on go pro camera. The guys gave us tips on how to stand, what to do to make the photos interesting. We are very pleased with the pictures. We were also given branded t-shirts and a certificate for our trip, which will remind us of the wonderful time we had here.

At 233 meters (764 metrest), the Macau Tower's "sky jump" and&Bungee jump&by&AJ Hackett& from the tower's outer rim, is the highest commercial sky jump in the world. Unfortunately, given the wind speed after the Typhoon, the activity was called off, leaving me crestfallen.

At the end of the errand, I was glad that the bungee jumping was called off.

One of the highlights of my solo trip - the Macau Tower! Amazing views by day and night (I went in the early evening and stayed till night to catch both views). I wasn't daring enough to attempt the sky walk or bungee jump but it was thrilling watching other people have so much fun, added well to the whole ambience of the place. The buffet dinner at the revolving restaurant was amazing, such a wide selection of quality food and the service was impeccable. They have a shop selling very cute and well curated merchandise too, for those who want to bring something home as mementoes or gifts. Special thanks to Ms. Victoria Fuh for showing me around and explaining the history and geographical layout of the great viewpoints. I had a truly wonderful first visit to the Macau Tower and will definitely bring friends and family on my next trip!

Business and leisure activities here. Business - Convention Center., occupied a part of the premise. Basement - A small mall of mainly branded goods on discount, also has a patisserie. The Skywalk ticketing counter is here too. And there is a souvenir shop.
Ground floor is the plaza with outdoor plaza. Upper floor is Toy'rus.
There are buses shuttle to/from various casinos. The time arrivals list board are usually a guide and Before you hop on, be sure that bus is heading where you want. On weekdays, the buses are usually less busy.

Definitely the best vantage point to look at the entire Macau territory and get a glimpse of China from across the water.
I was lucky enough to go with so few people so I was able to fully enjoy my visit despite being extremely acrophobic. I bought the tickets on the spot as this was an impulse decision, and fortunately I did not regret my purchase.

If you're seeking a lavish and upscale casino experience, look no further than the Venetian Macao Casino. Situated on the Cotai Strip, it holds the title of being the largest casino and luxury hotel resort globally, spanning an impressive 10,500,000 square feet. If you're looking for a luxurious and fancy casino experience, then the Venetian Macao Casino is the place to be. But, let's be real, this is not your grandma's bingo night - the minimum bet here is $500+.

It modeled on its sister casino resort, The Venetian Las Vegas. The casino resort building resembles a huge structure. Stand in front of the casino, you feel like you are in Las Vegas, and inside the casino, you feel like you are in the Italian city of Venice. Though it's not free, take a romantic ride in a gondola down the canals of the Shoppes at the Venetian. Entrance to the casino is free, and you will play on a table with as little as 300~500 HKD. You can also plan one day trip from Hongkong if you don't want to stay in Macao.

Stayed there in 2011 this time a decade came back but didn’t stay because this hotel is considered old . And also it is overly crowded, brought my mum only for the casinos. One thing is you notice if u are playing slots , many Chinese nationals man will come and ask if they can insert their membership card just cheapo to get the points. For the four day we went these men loiter around . It’s so annoying that I had to ask then to stop . I seriously think The management should deploy ppl around these slots it’s bothering everyone who didn’t apply the membership card.

Dong'ao Island, located 30 kilometers southeast of Zhuhai, is a picturesque destination offering magnificent sea views, lush forest scenery, and historical sites. The island boasts three beautiful bays: Nansha Bay, Dazhu Bay, and Xiaozhu Bay. Nansha Bay is particularly renowned for its Diamond Beach with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. 1. Some hotel shuttle buses run to and from the pier for free (every 30 minutes in some times)
2. Other intra-island buses cost 10 yuan per trip
3. Apart from hotels, there are only seafood restaurants on the island, and the taste is average. (On that day, it cost 310 RMB for two people to eat, 210 RMB for seafood, 45 processing fee, 10 RMB for drinks, and 45 RMB for fried noodles)
4. Water activities are expensive
5. There are no land activities, even bicycle rentals, and sports center activities such as archery are simpler than expected.
6. Personally, I don’t like swimming caps in swimming pools, so I gave up. (The infinity swimming pool is in another hotel branch. Although you can go there, it is very annoying)
7. All nearby facilities are under construction, nothing interesting
8. Not many mosquitoes
9. It is best to buy snacks and drinks before going to Dongao Island. There are few choices on the island and the prices are expensive.
10. Buy the round-trip ferry ticket directly, otherwise you have to keep the ticket, otherwise it will be very annoying. You have to bring a government notarization and fingerprints before you can be released.
11. One night in a certain Hotel use.
12. The water on the beach is not clear, but the sand is indeed clean, and people clean up the garbage regularly.

(Translated by Google) It's too commercialized and doesn't have the characteristics of the past. It had a fishing village flavor, with all food stalls and processing places, and not a single coffee shop! I couldn't find a place to have breakfast in the morning. Although the hotels back then were simple, most of them had sea views. Now there are many buildings on the flat land, blocking the view, and it is about to become a concrete forest. The transportation to Nanshawan Beach is more convenient, but the scenery is about the same as before, and the facilities are not particularly special. Unless you like fishing, it’s not worth going on vacation. The rent is super expensive and the facilities are basic, but it costs 600 yuan a day!

The Zhuhai Imperial Hot Spring Resort offers a unique Japanese-style outdoor hot spring experience in China. Guests can enjoy various springs infused with natural elements like Ganoderma Lucidum, ginseng, Angelica, and flowers. After indulging in the warm hot springs, visitors can savor local cuisine at the resort's restaurants or have a fun time singing karaoke with friends. The festive ambiance and friendly service create a memorable experience for guests.
It was my first time at a hot spring resort in China and I was blown away at the services and attitude of the people here. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and the festive ambiance was amazing. There's one part of a building that's dedicated to catering to an all-you-can-eat festival style that's a definite must go!
They have a karaoke bar that's opened until 2:30 am and although the selection for English songs isn't much, they do have some of the older English songs if you're into oldies. You're in luck if you know Mandarin or Cantonese! The karaoke staff were extremely friendly and amazing and I definitely think they're one of the hardest workers in this resort.
The hot springs itself is amazing and the temperature is just right! The mood is fantastic and I really don't know what else I could say about this place that could show how much fun this place is.
I would recommend staying for 2 days and 2 nights to be able to relax and enjoy everything.

This is a very interesting hot spring resort to stay for a day or two. They have a fun buffet with a whole street of food and snacks, once you pay for buffet place, all the food on that street is free. Their breakfast buffet and the restaurants are very good as well. The only problem is that it could be hard for foreign people to make a resevration there, their English website is not working. The resort package in ctrip is hard to understand for what the package was included.

Your id or passport will be collected for registration and return to you in late noon to your room, or at the front desk if no one is in. 24hours hotspring is ready for visit. There's a big locker room to store your clothes and then proceed to shower. They even prepared hair spray and gel after hairdrying. Have choose to dine in the all paid food streets and it was lots of variety to choose from. Some games where you can play with the tickets given upon entering. Package I bought include the bicycle ride and fireworks to have fun with. Room was a Japanese style tatami, great and clean room.
