It's absolutely stunning, and it's a fantastic spot for a scenic stroll and photography. There's a lot to see, so you'll probably need to come back a couple of times depending on your mood for a long, long walk. A beautiful body of water with this adorable red bridge is only a small part of the scenic beauty that this park has to offer. It's also completely free. ( Parking is only $2/hr) unfortunately gift shop was closed because of private even.

This place is amazing! Fun for the whole family if they are able to appreciate beauty. Notice: Wear walking or supportive sportswear because there's lots of different attractions and trails. Might be too large of a walking area for toddler's and young children.

Probably one of the most well laid out parks I’ve visited, and this was my first time visiting. The only bummer was that there were some areas closed off due to landscaping so I wasn’t able to get photos there, but this park is a nature enthusiast or photographer’s dream. There’s such a broad spectrum of plants throughout the garden that you just have to see. The ground along the paths are pretty even which makes for comfortable walking since you will find something eye catching down every path. I wasn’t planning on going on a misty day, but the photos I took still came out amazing. Would love to do photoshoots in this location.

This botanical garden took me by surprise! It looks small from the road but it is quite large with plenty of walking paths. Even though it was moderately busy when i went it didn’t feel like it since there’s so much space to walk around in!
All the flowers, bushes, and other plants are meticulously maintained and it truly is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens I’ve ever been to.

Nice walk through various regions themed gardens and woodland. Not busy, pay to park. Staff very helpful and polite. It has a children's discovery area with staff supervision indoors and out.
Great place to chill with tree coverage providing shade.

This place is such a beauty to behold! You literally feel like you enter a place of enchantment. There's various gardens with different themes. Many places to sit and enjoy your surroundings during your exploration. The gardens are massive, so rest areas are great! There's workers riding golf carts who you periodically see to answer any questions and give directions. Definitely an amazing experience.

*LOVED* this place!! We moved here from Idaho in September and have been exploring a lot. This has been our favorite place so far. If you are from here, you might not realize how special it is to have banana trees and bamboo just growing outside in nature under pine trees and elms and maple trees. In Idaho, there was only pine so you didn't see leaves change colors with the seasons at all. I can't believe how colorful everything is here!! It's the thing I had been looking forward to the most, and it didn't disappoint.
There's a smell outside as you walk around. It's this earthy tree smell that is my absolute favorite smell in the whole world (tied for the #1 spot with my daughter's head and my dog's feet). It was a 76 degree day with a light breeze and it felt like walking around in a rainbow heaven. The grounds are beautiful and there's lots to see. I'm certain we'll come back frequently.
That being said, I will give one suggestion. It's a little bit hard to get around with my daughter's wheelchair and it would be helpful if paths were marked with arrows showing which way to go if you're in a wheelchair. They had an info both but it was busy so we skipped it, and I'm sure they could have told us where to go. Alas! We had to backtrack a little bit here and there, but there were other ways to get around. We took a detour to the chapel which was about an 8 minute walk from the gardens, and we did have to go up some stairs for that part. It was so pretty though and barely out of the way. Worth seeing. I expected only one chapel, but the university has tons of buildings that look like ancient mini castles. I didn't expect it to be so utterly breathtaking.
Back to the gardens, there were some gravel areas inside the gardens that we decided to skip. Otherwise, the majority of the gardens were very accessible. We all loved this place so much.

Beautiful garden .My wife and I visited in February and we couldn't believe how fragrant everything was at that time of year. We will definitely return in spring. Very nice walking paths with maps and signage. Dogs allowed in yhe mornings and evenings, which is awesome.
Highly recommend.

One of my favorite gardens! So beautiful and much bigger than I anticipated. I loved the educational section on growing produce/farming for children. If I lived in Durham, I’d come here all the time to read, picnic, and take a stroll. And it’s free! (Just $2/hr for parking). Photos were taken 10/31/21, so some of the flowers weren’t blooming. Would visit again in the Spring.

Beautiful gardens with even more various colors of flowers and plants all over the place. Gardens is maintained well and walking through gives you good feel all the way through. It's most famous for its natural light and scenery views for capturing your beautiful memories of any events or occasions😍 better carry strollers if you going with kids or toddlers as the walk can be easy with it instead of carrying them all the time.definitely makes you feel good and worth visiting this place.

Yes, please go there and enjoy the breathtaking gardens. Different plants and flowers, they decorate everything in a beautiful way. It was super hot, but we enjoyed every single stop. The entry is free, but you have to pay 2 dollars/ hour for the parking.

Wow!! We were blown away by how beautiful and well kept everything was. You do have to have cash for parking. It was $2.00 per hour.
It would be a great place for family pictures and can’t wait to go back to have a picnic there. Lot’s of shade and areas to place picnic blanket and sit with the family.
They do have restrooms around the area and it is very helpful with little ones.

Duke Gardens are a beautiful and tranquil oasis in the heart of Durham, North Carolina. The gardens are home to a wide variety of flowers, plants, and trees, from the Japanese Garden to the Discovery Garden. There are also walking trails, a lake, and a chapel.
The Japanese Garden was particularly stunning, with its koi pond, waterfalls, and bamboo groves. The Discovery Garden was also a lot of fun, with its interactive exhibits and play areas.
The gardens are free to visit, but there is a fee for parking. There is a small parking lot at the entrance to the gardens, but it can fill up quickly. There is also street parking available, but it can be difficult to find.
If you are visiting the gardens in the off-season, be aware that some of the trees may be dry and without flowers. However, the gardens are still worth a visit, as the beauty of the architecture and landscaping is still evident.

Visited with my boyfriend last Spring and the scenery was gorgeous. Lots of different kinds of flowers to view, as well as walking trails. We also stopped at the little shop and bought popsicles to cool down. Great place to visit and lots you can do!

The visit to the Duke Gardens on the campus of Duke University was spectacular. Much of the gardens were still in bloom. The staff, volunteers and workers were quite pleasant, very knowledgeable as well as helpful. It was a beautiful day to spend walking amid such floral beauty. We brought a simple picnic lunch to enjoy at the conclusion of our walk. If you are in the area, leave at least an hour or more to enjoy this treasure.

Absolutely beautiful. Visited twice while in town and still didn't get to see everything because it was so big. My favorite was the vegetable garden which consisted of a compost and watering system and a bee keeping section. The workers and volunteers were super nice. There was a little building that sold snack and wraps that were delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. They also had a gift shop and area where you could purchase plants. The garden is free but you have to pay to park but the parking fee is reasonable but parking fills up quick.

A most beautiful and delicate "World" of beauty, wonderment, joys, and serenity... filled with colors and textures and the miracles of Nature to feed our souls and hearts... while also offering to our eyes delightfully labeled plants and flowers to educate our minds as well...
Go there to walk around... or lay down on the grass... and rejoice in beauty and serenity all at once...
I so love that little heaven on earth...
Enjoy ❤️

Good place for relaxing. Lots of Verities of trees, flowers and plants. Good walking trail. Parking online $2 per hour. You can use free parking a few blocks away. Must visit between March 15 to 30 to see the full blossoms of cherry. 2 toilets, one in the main building and another in the middle of the park. A few free drinkable water fountains too.

I love Duke Gardens. It's my favorite garden in NC. I've been there many times in summer, fall, and spring. Every season has a different charm. The Asiatic Arboretum is my favorite part. It's like you're in Japan, walking around the pond, where you'll see a lot of wildlife: turtles, ducks, and I even saw a great blue heron, which was amazing!
I went there today 3/14/24 the cherry blossom trees at the entrance are in full bloom! It was so beautiful, like a cloud of blossoms. The blooms should stay intact for about a week, depending on the weather. I recommend stopping by for photographs no later than next week and also visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowd. No entrance fees!
Duke University is a private research university known for its medicine program and basketball team. The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University is home to more than 13,000 pieces of art, including ancient Mayan ceramics and abstract modern art.
drove around a bit. saw the bronze camel (I love camels) and lots of "academic" looking buildings. Interestingly didn't see a lot of students. Maybe it was a bit chilly? Clean, well maintained.

Just a quick insert so I can remember that I went to Duke University Camus. It was cold and wet, so I didn't tour the area much. But it seems like any other college, except older. ;)

Duke University Hospital is always warm and welcoming when we have to go for appointments. They have by far done more to try and figure out what is going on with my husband's health, and they don't leave a stone unturned. I'm very impressed with the care we get when we are guests in their hospital!

Good school. Historic buildings. Classy graduation ceremonies. The campus is quite peaceful and serene. But you'll pay through the nose for a diploma from this place. But as an employer, they treat their people well.

My daughter and I toured the campus. It was clean and peaceful environment. The tour guide was very informational around the West campus. She even gave an overview about the East campus. When the tour was over, my daughter and I ate in the dining hall. We both were able to speak to various backgrounds of students that attend the University. They gave a very honest opinion about the institution. I was very impressed to hear of the pros and cons of Duke; especially transferring college credits from another institution. The students even gave some expertise on setting your schedule, if you wanna go abroad or mingle between the other universities in the area. This was completely fascinating. I only wished the admissions staff would of given an overview about admissions before venturing the campus. Make sure you get a map, you can get a little lost when you're tour is over. I'm just thankful for what was shared to my daughter and I.

This one is for Riley Jenkins (last name unknown):
And once again
The setting sun
Once again, I am sated
The Humanist said, Love him for who he is, and do not hate him for the words of others.
Better than water
More pleasant than songs
The most pleasant thoughts I’ve ever had
Alone
In the setting sun
Such sweetness doesn’t air the skies
Nor such honor please the minds
For tasks are simple
And others don’t wish
Except for the pleasure
Of these words that mist
Watching the grass grow
Majicks of memory
Playing on the back of my lids
Humming human breaths
Birds singing, time passing by
No sweeter melody
Than the air in the sky
So much fear for my mistakes
That I have opened up from me
Fortified by the joy
Of the Humanist’s memory
Knowing I’d endure
I promised never to aim my mind at myself
Not at once, but soon after
Such joy to her memory
Ah, better than water
More pleasant than songs
The most pleasant thoughts I’ve ever known
Under the evening sun
It’s beginning to chill
And time for a walk
Thoughts of only the Humanist
I suppose
When I was alone, you appeared
When I was lost, you showed me the way
When it was dark, you glowed like light
When I was weak, you showed me strength
When I was crying, you brought laughter
While I was hopeless, you offered wonder

The classic tale of academic pursuit meets real-world plot twist! It seems like Duke University was churning out Ph.D. scholars with a penchant for the unexpected. Picture this: a cohort of brilliant minds, each armed with a dissertation thick enough to double as a doorstop, suddenly deciding that their true calling was in the art of maple syrup tapping or the competitive world of curling in the great Canadian landscape. It's like they all attended a seminar on 'How to Excel in Fields Unrelated to Your Degree 101'. But hey, who can blame them? The siren call of poutine and the promise of polite conversation is enough to make anyone reconsider their career trajectory. Here's to the Ph.D. adventurers who remind us that sometimes, the best use of a degree is to take a sharp left turn and head straight into the unknown – or at least to the nearest Tim Hortons. 🍁

Oh my gosh I love this school I been wanting to go here since 4th grade and I’m dreaming to be here it’s very beautiful trying to get my GPA up soon 🙏
Duke University Chapel is a neo-gothic building with a 210-foot tower and 77 colorful windows depicting scenes from the bible. It is located on the west campus of the university, and its 5,200 pipe Flentrop organ and 50-bell carillon are worth a visit.
Don't let the name "Chapel" fool you. This place looks like a straight up cathedral! If you love the architecture of a beautiful church make sure to go see this one if you are in the area.
Toward the altar on the left is the resting place of some of the notable Duke family members.
Also to the left of the altar is a staircase to the catacombs where some of the past university of duke presidents have been buried.

It the largest Church I have been to. It is roman catholic themed, it has a crypt with resting place for the founders of Duke University. You can light candles. Get your pictures clicked in the Hogwarts looking alleys. And at 5 in the evening you can here the bells rolling. It is truly mesmerising

Historic landmark great to see. The historic Gothic chapel, standing at 210 feet and on the highest ridge of Duke's campus, features pointed arches and ribbed vaults. The stained glass windows help add color into the impressive structure.
Kevin Wang — Google review
Nestled within the heart of Duke University's sprawling campus, the majestic Duke Chapel stands as a testament to both architectural grandeur and spiritual reverence. As I ascended the steps leading to its colossal doors, the awe-inspiring beauty of the Gothic-style structure unfolded before me.
The exterior, adorned with intricate stone carvings and soaring spires, seemed to reach for the heavens. As I crossed the threshold, a profound sense of tranquility enveloped me. Sunlight filtered through the stained glass windows, casting a kaleidoscope of colors that danced upon the polished wooden pews.
The interior of Duke Chapel is nothing short of breathtaking. The vaulted ceilings create a sense of openness, and the air is filled with a hallowed stillness that invites introspection. The chapel's intricate details, from the ornate altar to the meticulously crafted organ, underscore the dedication and artistry that went into its construction.
During my visit, the chapel hosted a choir rehearsal, and the melodic strains of the music reverberated through the sacred space, adding a celestial soundtrack to the ambiance. The acoustics of the chapel are renowned, and it's easy to understand why as the harmonies swirled and resonated, creating an ethereal experience.
Venturing outside, the chapel's expansive grounds provided a peaceful retreat. The well-manicured gardens and quiet courtyards offered a serene escape, a stark contrast to the bustling academic life just beyond its gates.
Duke Chapel isn't merely a place of worship; it's a sanctuary that transcends religious affiliations, welcoming all who seek solace and inspiration. Whether one comes to marvel at its architectural splendor, attend a service, or simply find a moment of quiet reflection, Duke Chapel stands as an enduring symbol of beauty, grace, and the pursuit of higher understanding.

Beautiful, wonderful campus. Parking was a bit of a hassle, had to download an app with sketchy phone service because the meter won't work but that was forgotten when walking through the Beautiful campus.
There were not as many AA students seen while walking, as compared to our visit to UNC chapel hill that same morning ... we did see a group of 20-30 having a meeting in the courtyard right in front of the chapel, so there's hope.

If you haven’t been to the Duke University Chapel, it is an absolute must! This was my second visit. Growing up Catholic my mother and her family frequently visited beautiful churches around the world. She is gone now but I know she would have put this chapel at the top of the list in beauty! There is a crypt. In fact, five Duke dignitaries are buried in the basement of the chapel.
Take your time and walk around. This place was meant for meditation and reflection.
Check out my videos and pics.

Obviously this place is historic and gorgeous, but the real trick is to follow their calendar and see when there are free musical performances. I saw an Organ specialist play a recital and although it was not exactly my cup of tea it was still really cool, especially when he played the second set on the older, more traditional Organs (they were louder). There are upcoming free choir performances. Definitely worth checking out.

We did the Duke Chapel guided tour which is free and open to the public. We were introduced to the beautiful history, architecture, significance, and traditions of the Duke Chapel and truly enjoyed it. The chapel is known for its gothic style architecture but one has to go inside to be able to appreciate the intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, the organs, carillon, and more! Parking is available at the Bryan Center garage on a first come first serve basis.

Duke Chapel is stunning. Wonderful place to visit if you're in the area or walking from Duke hospital. It is such a warm welcoming Chapel. A respectful receptionist was waiting offering assistance and a great information on the Chapel and also a cute story about the two mice ( I won't tell you the story you'll have to go see for yourself). The offerings of this chapel is quite amazing. The public is free to enter and be a part at anytime. Be sure to check of the music events etc. Go and pray 🙏❤️

It is the Jewel of the Duke campus and if you are lucky enough you will get to experience the organ being played on your visit. Take your time and enjoy the ornate glass, wood and stone while taking in the music. Explore all the chapel has to offer with its many nooks and crannies. From the side chapel to the vault in the basement and the exterior is as spectacular as the interior which includes a cloister like courtyard to the right.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the oldest public schools in the US, is renowned for its healthcare and athletics programs. A must-visit spot is the Coker Arboretum which boasts diverse flora including tiger lilies.
Once a Tar Heel, Always a Tar Heel <3
I had a wonderful time when I was on a global exchange program here for one semester. The campus seemed massive, but it was actually quite compact. We visited the UNC campus as tourists, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. A supremely well manicured and well maintained campus with a number of buildings that are couple of hundred years old.
You can just walk randomly and still take in a lot of the campus, but it is even better if you have someone who knows the campus and can tell you why to take a sip of water at the fountain or a bit of history of the Old West building.
We recommend the Coker Arboretum, a calming oasis with some excellent fauna (tiger lilies!).

My daughter and I toured UNC. I must say the admission department explained lots of information concerning being accepted into the University. I loved how the student panel introduced themselves and shared a prospective of the UNC program. The student panel was given a group of visitors to tour the campus. I like how they explained certain areas around campus during the journey. I love how they have a dormitory room setup for the parents and student to see. The guide expressed the difference for first year students versus transferring students. They also mentioned the various options for mingle between other Universities while taking classes. This information was extremely helpful. I also was thankful for hearing the rules in place as far as housing and bringing a vehicle. I love the setup for campus meal. The meal has various options based on the student. The University has a very diverse background which gives a very free spirit vibe. I loved how the students were mingling around campus. We did go to the dining hall. The variety of dishes in Lenoir Hall was amazing. We didn't know which restaurant to choose from. We enjoyed our tour overall.
Swimming beaches & hilly hiking trails around 9 lakes, plus campsites & boating excursions.
Very much enjoyed camping here with my son's. Campsites are nice enough and easy to get to, clearly marked. Bathouses we're better than expected. We camped right on the lake and the boys fished all day and night. Caught plenty of channel catfish. Will go again!

Views from the campsite are what we hoped for... Unfortunately, there are planes from time to time overhead... But not bad... Bathrooms and showers are well kept and hot water is plentiful... We will definitely be rebooking again...

Love this lake! My papa is a regular here he drives here from Durham. He goes to this lake almost every week. Caught some great fish here, lost my biggest fish I ever caught and made some awesome memories

It would have taken a 5 star review, if it was not for a situation we encountered on our second night there. Around midnight on Saturday (Sunday June 2, 2023), the campers in the campsite before ours began to argue loudly, screaming and using profane language. My daughter, a minor who has special needs and could not sleep, shouted "please shut up", to be answered by foul language. We contacted the park rangers and explained that their argument had become physical, also there had been statements of a knife or the threat of stabbing. 45 minutes later, rangers showed up, as the altercation had come to an end. Aside from this, we enjoyed the park and lake, my kids love the place and we will continue to go, but do recommend as an expert in the safety/security/enforcement field, to have a better response time for volatile situations as this, as this could have turned into a life threatening situation, without the involvement of other campers, not the rangers.

Love the set up of the sites and scenery. Facilities are very clean. Most campsites are level and are easily accessible for rv parking. Only gave a 4 rating due to no water at campsites as it is still winter. Currently here (February) and Temps are in the 70s. Attached pictures are of campsite C19 in Poplar Point.

Just beautiful 😍 I stayed at the Poplar Point section.
The RV sites are far enough apart so as not to disturb your neighbors.
Many of them double as tent sites.
I was surprised to learn that they just installed 50 amp service as well⚡
Nice walking trail🥾🚶

Really lovely campsites on Jordan Lake. We didn't have direct access to the water, but could have selected a site closer to the water if I wanted to.
This time of year, the bathrooms are locked during the week (which was on the posted info but we didn't really pay attention so it was a bit of surprise for us).
We love car & tent camping. Loved the clean and freely available bathhouse. Good privacy this time of year.
My only word of warning: be prepared to be "inside" of wherever you are sleeping when the sun sets. The yellow flies and other flying bugs came out and were relentless, even with our tried and true thermocell. It's not unexpected being out in the wilderness, but should be known in advance.
We will ABSOLUTELY be back for a longer stay next time!

It's a great place for a family outing, fishing, camping,They have 3 beaches. My grandkids loved it. You have to get there early in the morning, bring your food, drinks and don't forget the charcoal for the grill.

This was my first time here. It's a beautiful spot! It's a very big area, and was also very clean. There was a nice playground area for kids, nice bathrooms, and even a pretty area for camping. It is definitely a great place to relax.
WOW!! We cannot recommend this enough. Don’t hesitate, just book a tour! We had an AMAZING time on our guided tour, which I highly recommend as you learn a lot about the animals. Don’t let the chain link fences turn you off - you will see within 2 seconds of being there just how much the keepers and tour guides LOVE the animals and it is so sweet how the animals love them back. They get so excited to see the tour guide coming near their habitat and they are so interactive. Our tour guide knew how to speak to each animal, doing impressive animal calls, and getting the animals to “speak” back. It was so cool! From the wolves howling, to the lions roaring and literally shaking the ground, to all the other incredibly unique animals like BABY TIGERS and all kinds of other cat and dog species, plus rainforest animals we have never even heard of….it was just an experience to remember and we will definitely be back and bring all our friends!

Fantastic experience! Loads of volunteers to answer any questions we had about the animals. We went for their Easter activities and will definitely need to book a tour next time as I would love to learn more about each animal and what brought them there. We did learn about several of the animals stories, and it was great to hear that they are in better care now. My heart always goes out to the animals.

My daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Shri! He is so knowledgeable and clearly cares deeply for the animals he cares for here. There are so many different animals and enclosures to visit during the walking tour. We got experience the Wolfpack howling together, and a the lion prides roaring - really spectacular! Loved seeing the animals interacting with each other and the visitors. Quite a lovely way to spend the afternoon, we can’t wait to go back again soon.

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide Grace was awesome, sharing lots of great info on each animal. She interacted well with the animals. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The variety of food and drink was well thought out. Great selection. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable evening, can't wait till next year. Thank you!

This was an awesome experience. You could see most of the animals very well, because several of them are nocturnal so they couldn’t coax them out. Highly recommend it. Be sure to check the weather and wear good walking shoes. You can use a stroller for little ones but they probably won’t be able to see them from the stroller, we had to pick my grandson out of it often and hold him up so he could see the animals. Overall will definitely do this again

Our family visited for the first time last weekend & this is truly a special place. We made reservations for a public tour that ended up being just our family & a fantastic guide, Terri. The staff & volunteers are truly incredible, and the animals are nothing short of amazing. Do you know what sound lions makes in the wild? Ever been face to face with a bearcat? Want to meet the cutest skunk, named Channel? Highly recommend a trip to the Animal Park at the Conservators Center. Thanks to Terri for such a special visit!

I've been on the tours before, but never twilight tours. So far, my favorite. The animals are so active and you can tell how much these animals are loved. These types of places are always hit by bad stigmas of wild animals should be in the wild. But all of these animals have their own unique stories of how they came to be with the park. And like I said before, you can tell they are well loved and well taken care of. My next trip hopefully will be to do the photo package tour. And hopefully to be able to volunteer one day.

Sean our tour guide was absolutely amazing! The staff all seem to genuinely care about all the animals. Went today and spent quite a few hundred in the gift shop to help support. The only slight issue that I have is that in a way I wish they had more space. Even so, I think this facility is absolutely amazing & please visit. They all seem and look well taken care of. I think the animals are in good hands. I will be back

We went on the Twilight Tour and it was outstanding! We saw almost all of the animals on the tour. Sean was a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. He encouraged us to ask questions and was attentive to the tour group’s needs. Our group was small enough that it was easy for everyone to keep up and interact. I booked the tour because I was most interested in the wolves, and Sean led us in a howl with the wolves. He also got the lions to roar/“uff,” which was very impressive. The smaller cats, many of which I had not heard of, were very interesting too. I also enjoyed seeing the dingoes and the New Guinea singing dogs. I will definitely be back for another tour!

I love this place! I came for a tour 11 years ago and then became a volunteer. Everyone's focus is on the well-being, physically and mentally, of the residents in our care. We pull together as a team when needed and then celebrate together as family. And when Pacino Lion gazes directly into your eyes, the enchantment takes hold!
Conveniently located for a day trip between the Triangle of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the Triad of Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, the Animal Park, while not a zoo, is a 503(c)3 non-profit committed to education and conservation of key species such as lions, tigers, and bear-cats (Oh, my!) Family friendly, It's a great learning place for children and kids of all ages!
Andrea Chase — Google review
We have a ton of pets at our house, from guinea pigs to chickens, and everything in-between! We've been members of the Asheboro Zoo for as long as I can remember. We've fostered animals dogs and even caught and found homes for feral cats. By every measure of the words, we are animal lovers!
With that said the folks at this park are animal lovers on another level! The care and consideration for the animals there is touching. Some volunteers have been there for over 20 years! They give every part of themselves to the animals and it shows. They are engaging with visitors, answering questions, showing patience and educating people. They do it all while showing the genuine care for the animals there. You can't help but feel the connection with the animals too.
And what can I say about the animals. They are simply amazing. The personalities are always on show and it didn't matter that it was 30 degrees out!
If you're looking to learn about exotic animals and have a casual, relaxing afternoon, do yourself and the other animal lovers in your family a favor and stop by. You won't regret it! And you might just be touched enough to help and adopt an animal yourself!!!

Very well cared for and extremely organized Park. Staff are super friendly and make themselves available to answer all questions guests may have. All animals that I have observed in the Park seem happy, healthy and very active. I am so blessed to have such an amazing Park like this so close to my home. I have been to quite a few events at this Park, and will definitely be returning for more. To the Park Owners & Staff, Job well done!!!

Amazing accredited Sanctuary with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not my first visit and really hope it's not my last. They provide wonderful homes to these beautiful babies that have been rescued from folks who thought they could be pets instead of wild animals. Their love for all of the babies is noticeable throughout the facility, they have a ton of room to roam, they are happy and well cared for. You are within 6 feet of a majestic animal, how can it not be a wonderful place to visit?!

This place is great! Clean and organized and the cats all look well cared for. The volunteers are friendly and passionate about what they do and tried to ensure we were able to see as many of the cats as possible. Parents need to be aware though, that our guide talked a lot about cats dying, being put down and cremated, and at one point told a story a man killing himself at one of the places they rescued from.

Do not go when very hot and humid, the bigger cats are not active during this time at twilight tour. Then again you have to book some time ahead so you will not know the weather outcome that day of your visit. Tour guide is very passionate about the animals and very knowledgeable. I want to say his name is Tim but unsure.

Such an amazing experience! The grounds are nice, the staff is friendly, the gift shop reasonably priced, & the animals seem VERY well cared for! I learned so much on the Twilight Tour, but also heard really lovely stories about the cats because the volunteers leading it truly care for these big babies. My only regret is not visiting sooner. Will definitely be back when in the area!

This establishment is proof of the inherent goodness of humanity. The knowledgeable guide walked us through the tour, all the while pointing out not only the things that make the various animals unique, but more importantly speaking to the maltreatment of the same by less scrupulous entities. All in all, a great decision. And don't forget the gift shop! Everyone there is a volunteer, so please show support (ps...the tigers paint PAINTINGS!)

It was a super hot day, so many of the large cats were not out. The benches and water spouts along the way were good (and needed). The tour guide was awesome! He answered questions and was a wealth of interesting information. He did a good job of addressing maltreatment of wild animals and how they came to Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro Small kids approx. 5yrs old and younger were fussy and too young to understand or appreciate the tour.
Jessica Martz — Google review
My personal experience.
This is a great place to go to learn ALL about the Tigers and other animals they house there.
This is not a great place to bring children younger than about 12 years old. Very rough loose gravel trails and rocky dirt roads. Challenging for little legs to walk or adults to push a stroller. Also, poison ivy and fire ant hills!
Bottom line, the animals are beautiful, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, but the younger kids in the group definitely got bored.
Paul Petkanas — Google review
Loved our twilight tour of the big cats! Very educational. Recommend good walking shoes for rocky trails and best for older children and adults.

Great place with great ppl. Not rushed at all and got to learn a lot about the animals. Some of the tigers are very sociable and like to roll around by the fence for the visitors. All the animals seem really happy and healthy, and the volunteers are very passionate. Also seemed safe and well organized.
Katie LC — Google review
Our tour guide was great, telling us the history of the animals we were able to see. Not every cat will be on the tour path as they are a rescue center. Some cats unfortunately are not comfortable around the public and Carolina Tiger Rescue does all they can to make sure their animals are happy and healthy.
The terrain is uneven as the rescue is built on an old farm and you will have to remain with your tour guide at all times both for your safety and the animals.

Did the enrichment tour and was very cool. Definitely worth it to watch the big cats open boxes and get fed. The servals were very cute too. My favs were Sheila and Saber, the white tigers.
I will say one of the tour guides we had was quite rude. She also seemed to make up facts and then follow it with “but i’m not sure if that’s true”.

The twilight tour (5:30pm) was an incredibly intimate and wonderful experience. Our tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable, the animals were breathtaking and the lions were super vocal! This is a must see! So many great photo ops and stories about the animals. We went early in the morning when the cats were most active and waiting to be fed. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable. There are people cages on the trail in case an animal gets out, but our tour guide assured us that has never happened. The gift shop has a lot of great items.

Good outlet mall. Busy on weekends as expected. It’s always clean. As any mall they have several restrooms & vending machines in different locations but there’s one extra roomy restroom by Old Navy - by the mall offices. They have a private lactation/nursing room with comfy furniture separate from the restrooms.

Nice Outlet shopping center in a very convenient location. Several brand name stores, and large parking with overflow parking area. Place is well kept. Safe, clean, and spacious. No many places to eat so be prepared. In my opinion, is missing a lot of brand name stores to accommodate such large variety of customers and keep in mind this is the only Outlet shopping Center serving Wake, Orange, Durham Counties plus the Greensboro/Burlington/Mebane area.

Great mall with so much to do! You can find some pretty good deals and if it’s a good day outside your shopping experience will be much better. Very family oriented and plenty to do with the entire family. But it is a mall so you will have a lot of walking to do.

I came because I heard people talk about it 7-10 years ago and as I finally was passing it I was like hey I heard of this, let's check it out.
Well I'm sure it was more exciting in the past. The stores all felt the same. They styles didn't seem to vary store to store. I ended up only buying 1 item for each of my children from Oshkosh, since they weren't with me. I got nothing for myself.
If I ever come back through this way, I did like seeing the huge playground. I would love to have my children enjoy it, while I try some store I didn't make it into.

It’s crazy busy during the weekends. There is a electronic map which is easy to search for a store and find it..
If you have a EV there are free electric chargers too.
Only thing is the store shld have more variety..

For the most part our experience was good. My only complaint is that they upgraded the EV charging stations to include more locations but they are not very well signed, as I had to figure out that they were placed closest to the outlet at the front of the rows. The original EV charging locations where I was familiar with did not work. Those were a Shell ev charge station

Tanger Outlets Mebane is a favorite place of my family. Going there during weekdays are not so busy, but weekends are where many people come and shop. There are so many choices here. The place is clean and the stores are really great places to choose whatever you want or need. It has a wide parking area, clean restrooms, and beautiful areas to rest and relax. Unfortunately, there’s limited choices for foodies and no coffee house.

We enjoy our time here. Many of the stores are our favorite like Banana Republic Factory, Pandora Jewelry, Kate Spade, Coach, Sperry, Tory Burch, Under Armor, etc. They recently reopen the Playground for the kids to play again. Very busy during Black Friday. In 2021 Black Friday, I waited almost 2 hours in front of Tory Burch😅 Still many discount during the usual day, but not as much as in special occasions. The staffs in Shopper Station are helpful. I suggest to get the membership since you can get extra discount coupons.
I absolutely love this place! It's very informative and the nature trails are always nice and kept up. The plaques and the displays are awesome and the movie theater is perfect! I always enjoy going to the theater to watch the movie over again. I love stopping by here. This is often erroneously referred to as the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. However this battle predates the American Revolution. This battle dealt with out of control local officials, taxation, and lack of address of grievances. There is a small museum in shop, but they have very nice t-shirts. I love getting to walk the grounds and learn about the history.

Had a great time with our group. They did a lot of things directed for kids; such as a school master telling us how education worked then, an in depth look at how revolutionary war era families lived in their homes, as well as toys and games they would have played with. They also let us see what militia men would have with them and the weapons that would have commonly been used and why.

Team there is in period dress, but willing and knowledgeable enough to bring history into the now. Drew is a delight. Ask for the details, it's worth it.
Take the time to climb the opposite ridge, sit and face away from the road and imagine yourself as you were at 20-66 years old. You pick your bravest age!
Full of both fear and conviction. Freedom, valor and loss tied into a small, seemingly insignificant moment in our history, it is worth turning the car around and visiting if you drove past.
Accommodations are clean, maintained and picnicking is welcomed. Bathrooms are stocked, toilets run slow but are tidy.

This is a very underrated yet important historical site. The Visitor Center is small, but it houses the very interesting 20 min video on the events leading up to the battle. The docent/lady, gave just my wife and I, a custom tour. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire history of all that was discussed. The deciding factor in the battle was the cannons Gov. Tryon had on his side. The size used are fully on display in the Center and outside. The Allen house is also very interesting.

The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is a Greensboro, North Carolina museum dedicated to documenting the history of the civil rights movement. The building that houses the museum was formerly home to the Woolworth's store where four students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University joined in peaceful sit-ins beginning in 1960. The museum aims to memorialize these actions and others who participated in the movement across America.
This was a good guided tour, Gene, was our guide and she was absolutely amazing!!! She has great knowledge and a fantastic way of sharing. The tour was around one and a half hours long. Definitely visit if you get a chance and ask for Gene as your guide.

I wish photography was allowed, but I fully respect why it is not. This was a powerful trip. The tour guide we had was amazing. While many parts were not captioned, the staff worked with me to provide access to my deaf peers. The counter is an amazing experience, as is the entire tour. Go when you can.
I am sad to see how few white folks were there to absorb and learn. We must learn from our past and that includes learning from our painful truths.

You can’t visit Greensboro with visiting this pivotal place where American history occurred during the Jim Crow Era. The four young men who spearheaded the Greensboro Sit-In deserve to be remembered for their trailblazing efforts and I’m happy that this museum does just that.
You either have the option of touring the museum by yourself or with a tour guide for an extra fee. I highly recommend opting for the tour guide, because you learn much more about the sit-ins and American history involving the discrimination and intentional displacement/mistreatment of African Americans in the U.S.
Our tour guide was Darren and he was phenomenal! Very passionate and did not spare details. It’s so important that history as such is shared, especially since we find that much of the history mentioned in the museum still occurs today. I recommend visiting the gift shop on your way out :) so many options and the proceeds support the museum.

Solid local museum about the beginning of the modern Civil Rights Movement in 1960s America. The exhibits are well done and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. They have the antediluvian policy of discouraging photos. Still, the museum is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the American Civil Rights Movement.

An interesting museum worth the trip mainly to see the preserved Woolworth counter that started off the associated wave of civil rights protests. Many of the most interesting items inside are along this theme, such as an actual example of a 'separate but equal' drinking fountain. A few odd points: despite the name, I don't recall anything "international" inside. A mask mandate is still being enforced, which seems bizarre in April of '23 when the building is nearly empty. Also, photography (even with the flash off) is forbidden. The reason for this is unclear. Perhaps to discourage people from jumping over the partitions, sitting on the historic seats, and pretending to sit in? Still, it's off-putting, since seeing the counter is a huge part of the draw of showing up at all.

Visited on 7.19.23 with zero expectations, but we were all mesmerized by our tour guide, Angela. She is a wealth of information and we agreed someone that we could listen to for hours on end. The tour pacing is perfect. The displays are powerful!! The price is reasonable, $15 for student and $20 for adult. The gift shop is cute and quaint. There was no line or wait to buy tickets and every single lady we met was delightfully friendly. We enjoyed our initial tour so much that we visited 4 days later, so we could bring new friends with us to experience it with us.
I'm sure all tour guides are awesome, but when we return (and we will!), we'll call ahead to make sure Angela is working, because she is a phenomenal story teller as she shares the history packed in that museum.

We have been to many civil rights museums including in D.C. and Montgomery, AL and found this museum to be a real find. It was very informative at the personal level. Our docent, Jeanne Dulin, was exceptional. I would highly recommend the guided tour for the full experience.

A very moving and informative museum experience, more about life than simply history...well worth a visit (or several -- there's a lot to absorb!). Our guided tour (with Darren) was excellent.

I was in town for an event for my doctoral program and my cohort went on the guided tour with Darren. SO WORTH IT! This was not your usual museum tour or tour guide. He had passion, conveyed pain, infused humor, and inspired a hopeful future! His auditory style and story telling abilities really draws you in. Though I think the artifacts and other aspects are nice if I had gone on my own tour, it was Darren who made the experience spectacular. Highly recommend.

For Black History Month, the Delta Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. visited the International Civil Rights Center & Museum with our youth auxiliary group, The Sigma Beta Club. For a few young men, this was their first trip from the Durham area. I appreciate the amount of information and stories that Robin Easter provided on our tour. Although I’m an Aggie alum, it is always an amazing experience to visit the museum and see the new exhibits and artifacts that the museum has collected. Also, they have some amazing books in the museum store. Again, special thank you to Robin Easter and all of the museum staff. I also appreciate you taking a selfie with me!!!!

This museum is truly a hidden gem of Greensboro! It is obvious that the passionate and knowledgeable staff truly care about the continued expansion of civil rights in the United States and abroad. Thank you Angela for a fantastic and fact-filled afternoon!

My friend and I visited the museum on a Friday, and it was nice. We had a wonderful tour guide, Darren, and when I come back, I hope I get him again.
My family is from Greensboro, and my dad told me he used to sit at the counter (which they preserved for guests to walk through) and order a banana split after the A&T 4 made history. Things like this seem like a long time ago, but it wasn't. It was nice to walk through a piece of history like that in NC. The painful history is preserved so that we can learn from it...

Angela was wonderful. Very informative and interesting. The museum was definitely impactful and a good reminder of how far we've come but how much further we still need to go. We can't forget about the past or dumb it down. The museum lays it out in a way that's not chronological but in subjects. The guided tour is the way to go as it covers a lot and the guide is able to give you the idea of everything. Give yourself time to come back to certain areas of the museum that you might want to find out more about.

The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the Civil Rights Movement. It is located at the site of the historic Greensboro sit-ins, and it tells the story of the movement through interactive exhibits, films, and artifacts.
The museum is well-organized and informative, and it does a great job of explaining the complex history of the Civil Rights Movement in a way that is both engaging and educational. I was particularly impressed by the exhibit on the Greensboro sit-ins, which included a recreation of the lunch counter where the sit-ins took place.
Mrs. Washington our tour guide was passionate, thorough and kept our group together and used her platform to bridge the gaps in togetherness right in the tour. I was appreciative of her companionate wise words during such an emotionally wrenching time for reflection.
The museum also has a number of interactive exhibits that allow visitors to learn about the Civil Rights Movement in a more hands-on way. For example, there is an exhibit where visitors can sit at a lunch counter and experience what it was like to be a black person in the South during the Civil Rights Movement. There is also an exhibit where visitors can learn about the different forms of nonviolent protest that were used during the movement.
They just purchased the building adjacent to them. So more expansion is in the future. Be sure to donate extra for the build out and the staff so we can keep this history out in the open.
Overall, I highly recommend the International Civil Rights Center & Museum to anyone interested in learning more about the Civil Rights Movement. It is a powerful and moving experience that will stay with you long after you leave.
Here are some additional details about the museum:
It is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
Admission is $20 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $14 for children ages 6-17.
The museum offers a variety of educational programs for groups and schools.

Tour guide was amazing. If you are a person of color, don’t be surprised when
you see white people. They do come, but mostly to clear up how they history was taught to them too. Rooms are tight but it’s intentional.
The Greensboro Science Center is a popular tourist destination with four sections including a museum, an aquarium, a zoo, and a theater. The museum has exhibits on reptiles and snakes, zoology, and the theater shows 3D movies.
This place is fun for all ages. I see why so many people were here. It was so much to see and we loved every bit of it. We got tickets on a whim and they were for 30 mins before closing, thanks to Lori A. We were able to come back the next day with no issues and enjoy the full museum. If your kids like the new movie Turning Red they will love going here and see the Red Pandas in the zoo.

Had a wonderful time visiting the center. It would have been better on a cooler day or maybe earlier in the morning. The kids did not enjoy the zoo part in the heat and the animals were smart staying inside.
Was impressed with the amount of butterflies they had. Lots of play areas for kids to enjoy. The aquarium section had a good variety of fish and other animals to see. The dinosaur area was okay but wasn't a highlight. Pretty basic.
Bonus we got to see the baby red panda they had in the hospital building. It was so adorable.

Great place, friendly staff. I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but wish they had hours or even a dedicated day for adults only. Otherwise, go early to avoid the kids if that's not your thing.
Cool setup for all animals, the aquarium section was really cool too. Staff was all VERY pleasant!

Came here for the first time, because we had a reciprocal zoo membership we got half off our admission which was nice. The aquarium is small but was nice, had some interesting animals, penguins were pretty active and there was a touch tank. The zoo itself was small compared to other zoos, not a large amount of animals but a decent amount, some were napping or indoors so we weren’t able to see them well. Large play area for kids, pretty cool and fun for parents too I think. Science center was interesting had some good exhibits, lots of interactive stuff.

This place is awesome. Literally found this place just looking for something to do while in Greensboro. I'm so glad we did. The educational factor of this place is off the charts. Such a fun learning experience. The zoo section was one of the most fun parts of the whole place. If you ever go out, you should wander over to the red pandas and the lemars they are great.

Took my young kids here and they had a lot of fun. So much to do, we easily spent 7 hours here so make sure you leave yourself enough time to explore. There's a great playground and plenty of restrooms. The Cafe had great food and coffee

A coworker recommended this place to me and I was not disappointed! I was surprised to see so much for less than $20. I saw animals that I never even heard of. There is so much to learn and explore here! The only thing I wish that could have been better was the viewing angles of certain animals. I would've liked to see more of the tiger. However, several animals managed to keep my attention throughout the day. I especially enjoyed the peacock, red pandas, and gibbons monkey. This place is highly recommended for nature, science and animal enthusiasts.

Went with my nephew for a field trip. They have a lot exhibits & cool things for kids to do. If you like animals is essentially a mix between an aquarium & a zoo with other fun activities mixed in. They also have a playground area, zip lines, & a solitarium. We didn't get to experience everything because of the weather, but we still had a good time!

Our family loves our trips here. The exhibits are fantastic, and the facilities are super. There is something here for everyone in the family to enjoy. We like that there are some more unique animals and that there are lots of interactive elements to play with or on. A visit during the winter lights is also a must-do.

This place is a local gem. I took the family over spring break. They have classes, information sessions and you are able to interact with several animals. They even allow you to touch animals including the sting ray. We have been before however there have been many upgrades. The outside renovations are beautiful and so much fun. There are more animals and they even have an animal hospital where you can learn so much about taking Care of the animals and medical procedures they perform. The staff was polite and helpful. This is perfect day trip.

What an awesome experience!! I will highly recommended to purchase a membership and expect to make a day of it! Why?! There is so much to see and to do! A learning adventure packed with so much fun & excitement! Although, many of the outdoor animals were hiding due to the heat, we were still able to see many different animals from all over the world without even leaving Greensboro.
If you plan on going for the day, pack a lunch and some cool drinks. The cafe there smelled scrumptious and the prices were ridiculously high but an adventure like the Science Center a packed picnic lunch just makes it even more special!
One of the best Science Centers around and well worth the adventure

Loved it. I chaperoned for my daughter's school, and it was pretty easy to find everything with the map they give you at the front desk (I had to ask for it). All the exhibits were very well kept and all the animals were beautiful. Plenty of places for the kids to play, and/or sit down and rest. The gift shop was very nice too.

Wow! Great place with lots and lots of things to do! A walkable zoo with a good variety of animals, an aquarium inside with AC 🥵 😂 a cool dinosaur room, and lots of places for kids to play! The tree house style play area was SO COOL for my kids (age 4) and me. There’s a few indoor play things as well that are very interactive and engaging. A pendulum that swings all day, illustrating the rotation of the Earth is in the middle of the main building. That seems like nothing but our whole party stopped and stared for a while. There a small cafe upstairs and lots of spots to eat downstairs. Plenty of bathrooms! There is a family room as well for nursing moms or families with really littles. There are sensory bags available for those with sensor processing difficulties and a sensory map that warns you of the different smells, sounds, etc around the facility. We did not get to do the friendly zoo area that I believe is like a petting zoo or the butterfly room. The butterfly room is closed until May 17. We just ran out of energy for the petting zoo.
“This was even more fun than the zoo!” - quote from one of my kids
We definitely will come back. This was a great time.

We had such a great visit! They've added many new things over the years. My kids had a great time, the weather room, the dinosaurs, and the aquarium. The outdoor zoo was closed because of ice and snow, but they did discount our admission. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful science museum. I love the expansions to the outdoor animal habitats. Absolutely beautiful and easy to navigate. The renovated dinosaur exhibit is also really nice. The theater has a good variety of shows, but be sure to get in line early. The aquarium is a favorite spot; the penguins are so fun to watch. The behind the scenes tour of the aquarium is an extra cost, but it's worth it if you're interested in sea life. Really good tour.

Great family place! My little family and friends spent hours here. They have a small aquarium, butterfly sanction, dinosaur exhibit, zoo, and so many other things here! We went early to beat the crowd, but by afternoon, it got crowded fast! There were lots of different play stations and areas that the kids were never bored. We sadly didn't get to see the baby hippo, but we did see the baby red panda.

This was an amazing experience! The African penguin exhibit was by far my favorite part. As a bird enthusiast seeing different birds was really cool. They even had a merchandise store and I got an African penguin plush.
They have festive events like winter wonder lights which we will have to see later this year. All in all very fun experience and will be coming back again.

We had a great time here on a school field trip with a group of 3rd graders. I don't think we had any "I'm bored" moments. From the aquarium to the outdoor animals, we got to see a lot of stuff. The kids really enjoyed the giant playground.

Absolutely must-visit place in Triad. This place is very interactive and family friendly. Lots of various animals and many spaces where family can take rest and enjoy picnics. The museum itself is well maintained and has lots of aspects that visitors can think about their lives and environment. We spent about 2 hours to explore the place but it seems that we need more time to fully be emerged in the exploration.

My family recently visited the Greensboro Science Museum for the first time, and overall, it was a memorable experience. We particularly enjoyed exploring the diverse range of animals and learning fascinating new things. However, we were slightly disappointed by the size of the museum itself, finding it smaller than expected. Nevertheless, the zoo section was a standout highlight, offering an immersive and enjoyable experience. The aquarium was also a hit, especially the opportunity to interact with stingrays, which was simultaneously fun and slightly gross. Additionally, the option of trying out the ropes course, albeit at an extra cost, seemed enticing. The presence of a cafe offering snacks and lunch, as well as picnic tables, provided convenient options for dining. While unsure about outside food policies, checking the museum's website for details would likely clarify this. Overall, despite some minor drawbacks, the Greensboro Science Museum offered a fulfilling day out for the whole family.

The staff were friendly and professional. The gentleman working the aquarium was very knowledgeable and experienced with the fish. This place is a great place for families or couples. It's a great place for school and family trips. The animals look well taken care of, and you can see where they take care of the reptiles. They also have where you can touch sting rays. Staff is also friendly and willing to help.
The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is a large, well-marked park in Greensboro, North Carolina that marks the site of a key Revolutionary War battle. The park features statues and exhibits commemorating the battle and the general who led Continental forces to victory. Visitors can spend time outdoors on walking tours or enjoying picnic areas.
This historic park is unique. The paved trails are through the woods, with historic monuments and statues along the trail. We didn't get to explore the entire park because my girls were too tired from the other parks we visited prior to stopping here. There are a lot of people walking their dogs here, and I love that!! If I'm in the area, I will come back and explore the entire park. This is the best time of the year to visit. Since there are trees everywhere, the fall Foliage is beautiful!! If you are coming to this park, come in the Fall. I love seeing the colorful leaves fall and all over the ground. It's so beautiful.

We visited the park on Friday and Park Ranger Daniel Engelbau gave us an amazing tour. It elevated a battlefield tour to a history experience not just about the battlefield, but the experience of the people who lived during these times. Daniel talked about what stories get told and what else happened outside of the traditional stories. A great visit!

You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy it here. There is a 30 minute movie that was very interesting and easy for kids to understand. The museum was smaller than expected but we still enjoyed it. Unfortunately there are no benches in the museum or lobby while waiting to get into the theater, so it could be hard on someone who needs to sit often. There are walking and driving trails to see the monuments. A great place to get exercise and learn at the same time.

Very important place to American history. Interesting to see all of the different eras of preservation that the park or battlefield has gone through. The videos were well done and very informative. The staff was so happy, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The visitors center is a little older but still clean and kept up. If your going to do the walking trails I would say leave an entire day.

The museum inside the Visitor's Center is top notch! There are hundreds of Revolutionary artifacts that are beautifully displayed. There is also a short film with an animated map that provides details of Cornwallis and Greene. I highly recommend the Junior Ranger program for anyone with kids, as it included a kid-friendly activity book and swearing in to receive the badge. If you choose to walk the trails, bring bug spray! While the trails are clear, it's easy to imagine the guerrilla warfare through wooded forests.

There was plenty of parking spots and restrooms. Inside the Visitors Center is a museum, some hands on display items to touch, a gift shop and 2 separate films to enjoy. A 10 min one and a 30 minute one to enjoy for free as well...
Highly recommend visiting the park if you are in the area!!

Loved walking the trails, but more trail signage would be nice and the map you get at the Visitors Center isn’t very detailed. But, it was nice walking on the mostly paved trails and the benches are great if you have someone with mobility issues who needs a break.
It is dog friendly, they just have to be on a leash. Our two dogs loved it and we saw lots of other visitors with dogs, everyone was respectful and had control of their dogs.
We will be returning to enjoy some of the trails we didn’t get to today. Highly recommend a visit if you are a history fan, lots of monuments and facts about the pivotal battle that happened here during the Revolutionary War.

Wife and I have visited this park a couple times since arriving at Greensboro. Once for a simple walk, which this is a very nice park for. The second to attend the annual re-enactment. Something that has been a sort of bucket-list item since childhood. You know. One those things you read about and wanted to do throughout childhood. Well, 50 years later I was able to check it off.
The re-enactment is quite an appreciable effort with a large field surrounded by woods to depict the battle and n excellent narration the history and events that unfolded to become a major turning point in the revolutionary War. Well worth the time and effort.

We had a wonderful time here at the park! My wife’s 5th great grandfather was Captain James Tate (monument #3) he had perished outside of the park, but they interred him at his monument. He died in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in the Revolutionary War! We walked the tour of monuments and were very impressed. The stories told and the National Park App that had audio for the tour was wonderful.
They were amazing, great experience for the price. If you can have Easton, Evan, or Tyler as your guide even better. They were kind and funny. Handsome too if that's your thing. Everyone we talked to were welcoming.

We spent the afternoon on this exhilarating experience soaring through the Ziplines in the lush forest... it's a fun 2 hours and 14-15 Ziplines.. best of all kids 6 and up can do it... I made a same day reservation and we drove up... the process was pretty seamless with a quick consent form. Our host was awesome and the guides were a pair of entertaining young guys! It's $40 per head plus tips... close to $200 for our afternoon, so quite a chunk of change for a couple of hours of entertainment, but definitely worth a visit!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! We visited this establishment to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday, and I cannot wait until we visit again! First off, we were late, but they were so patient with us, and so very understanding. We are a large family so waivers had to be signed for all of the kids and adults and they were patient with us in that process even though we were late arriving. Our guides Mike and Ian were AMAZING!! Omg they were so funny and a joy to be around! They made sure we were all safe and knew the rules and we had an amazing time. The area was beautiful, and to have this be our family’s first experience ziplining, they made it the most memorable. There was a covered picnic area that we reserved so we were able to eat lunch and enjoy each other and nature before heading back home, which was about a 45 minute drive away. A thank you from my family to Richland Creek, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely make a trip back soon!
500-acre zoo with 1,700+ animals from Africa & North America in replicas of their natural habitats.
Visited for our anniversary weekend. We enjoyed ourselves, but we were super exhausted by the end of the day. You spend most of the time walking uphill, but there are plenty of stops along the way to rest. Bring comfortable shoes!
There are places to eat once in the zoo. Don't know how affordable the prices are, since we ate prior to entry.
Plenty of charging stations for electric vehicles. We were in the zoo the entire afternoon so it was nice to be able to come back to a charged car.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back.

This is a beautiful place! My only issue was the yellow jacket infestation! The facilities are clean. This is a huge place with a lot of hills to push through, so if you struggle with mobility, rent some type of transportation. We didn't get any food, but we did grab a frozen strawberry lemonade that was delicious and cost a little over $6.00. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean. The staff were helpful. Overall good trip.

This is a fantastic wildlife park, the animal environment enclosures were HUGE! I would love to be an animal in this park, the park has two sides, the North American park and the African park, both parks were truly amazing, they were under construction for a new addition due to open in 2026, this addition will be wildlife from the Asian region, we will definitely make our way back when it opens.
P.S where comfortable shoes, the park is huge, they have a tram service but we decided to walk the whole park and then back, we did about 7 miles.

I went during presidents day weekend and the park closes at 4:00 but the last tram stops at 3:30. so myself and the rest of the guest had to wait about 40 plus minutes for a 17 passenger bus to come back and forth to take people from the Africa side to the North America side just to leave the zoo. overall I had fun, there were not too many animals were out because it's winter still but it was a pretty good visit

The Zoo is nestled on 2,600 wooded acres. It is the world's largest natural habitat zoo, so definitely wear your comfortable walking shoes. We walked 5 miles while strolling through.
It is really nice that the zoo comprises several areas representing different regions of the world.
It's exciting that they are bringing Asia to the zoo! It's currently under construction, and I can't wait for it to be completed.

Clean& fun. Well guided trails and trams to travel on. Good food is available at multiple spots in the zoo. Bathrooms are set throughout the whole zoo. And in great spots. The animals and environments are well cared for, and so magical to see. Strollers and handicap electric scooters available to rent. It really is worth the trip. And cheap tickets for such a large zoo. Recommended 100% for any age.
Also, the paths are all shaded by trees so it's not miserable to walk in the blaring sun.

Had a pleasant experience. Made sure to go on a day before it was too hot even though a good portion of the walk through the park is under well placed shade trees. I was able to walk the entirety of the zoo without trouble. Not all of the animals were able to be viewed who were either sleeping out of view or not there at all. Probably best to arrive at feeding time for best viewing opportunities. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful. Park is clean and well maintained. All in all a good day and worth the 90 mile drive.👍
Martin Kerschus — Google review
The zoo was nice but the layout was strange and way too long between each exhibit. The food was way overpriced and the app to order ahead wouldn't work. The exhibits themselves were well done and most had good points where you could see the animals. We could see that a lot of construction was underway so may be in a little bit it will improve.

My wife and I went to the North Carolina Zoo. We didn't see some of the animals, probably out to lunch lol. Plan on doing a lot of walking in the woods up and down the paths. Bring plenty of water to drink and good walking shoes. It does get crowded but the people are friendly and polite. Admission for adults is $15. Cheaper for children and seniors.

Very well managed. The staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs and are very polite and respectful in their interaction with the visitors. Being a public holiday for most schools, it was definitely crowded but the trams were plentiful and frequent enough that we didn’t have to wait overly long in line.
The animals all seem healthy and well looked after. We were able to enjoy some of the animals up close via the zoofari and I definitely recommend reaching early to snag the limited tickets. Our guide Nancy was very informative and patient. Kudos to her!
We are eagerly awaiting the opening of the new Asia section and then the Australia one!
Also recommend taking out a membership because you will definitely want to visit multiple times!

This zoo is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. Zoo is so big, be prepared for extensive walking. They provide convenient amenities throughout, including water filling stations, restrooms, resting benches, and lemonade stalls. You'll find gift shops and food courts at key junctions.
Please note that certain attractions come with additional charges: Butterfly Gardens ($3), Carousel ($3), Treehouse Trekker ($3), and Giraffe Feeding ($5). Strollers are available for rent for kids.
During our visit, we noticed that some animals, like the lion and polar bear, were missing, possibly due to the hot weather.
There's a kids' playground and kids Zone in the North America section.
The zoo offers a tram service inside, running every 30 minutes to various junctions, and complimentary shuttle service to the parking lot. Parking is ample. Overall, it was a great experience!

It was Easter weekend and there ended up being a good crowd of people. I needed access to a motorized scooter because I wasn't able to walk and fortunately, I got the last one. I found this surprising, because it was only a few minutes after opening. And once they are gone, there are only regular wheelchairs. The animal were wonderful, though they didn't seem very active. It's a zoo..I'm really not a huge fan to begin with because I feel bad for the animals being confined, but what are you gonna do? It is what it is. Plenty of beautiful scenery and the staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the Top Ten Zoos in the country FOR SURE! I enjoy walking around and seeing and photographing the plant-life and floral-life equally as much as I do the animals! This is an absolutely beautiful zoo! Well cared for and landscaped. We love bringing our little boy here and he has always enjoyed himself here too! He loves the outdoor playground areas they have here for kids! FYI - If you buy the yearly family pass here at the zoo, it is also good to get you into the Sylvan Heights Bird Park, which is equally as AWESOME!!! Best bird aviary I have ever been to! Amazing! It is in the exact opposite direction from Raleigh though, but WELL WORTH the visit!!!

This is one of my favorite zoos. I generally have a love/hate relationship with zoos because I feel that many animals don’t have enough space in them. For the most part, other than a few of the large cats exhibits, I do not feel that way here. I’m impressed by how large the exhibits are. That does mean that there is a lot of walking and you may not see some animals. I think it’s a good trade off. Prices are cheap. The team is wonderful for when you’re exhausted and need a lift back to the front entrance. They have several education programs and are very involved in rehabilitation programming as well. 10/10 would recommend. I should also add that I’ve been several times and am a zoo member so I’ll definitely be back!

First time visiting, and it was the best experience ever. I will totally visit again. My 4 year old had so much fun seeing the animals. I do recommend getting the strollers they have there since there's a lot of walking. They have single and double strollers. The tram was great after walking to the other side of the park( started/parked in Africa and finished in N. America)it got us to near where we started. We loved seeing all the animals ❤️

Great variety of animals to see! I was glad that the animals weren’t in sad cages. Their enclosures definitely mimicked the wild. Just a warning, there is a lot of walking! But
they do have a ton of trees throughout the zoo, so we were able to walk in the shade most of the time (on a day that was 90 degrees!).

Fun place for the family to spend the day!
You can walk the park or take a tram for easier visiting. Our visit was just over 4 miles of walking! Friendly knowledge caretakers.
Lots of animals to see. Can't wait for the Asia exhibit to open in 2026!

Extremely well maintained with a lot to see. It's absolutely beautiful.
There are 2,600 wooded acres of land. Of which 500 are developed. It is the world's largest natural habitat zoo. Whose major focus is conservation. The Zoo has worked closely with organizations around the world to protect wildlife populations and their habitats. It truly is a must see!!

Was a fun time. Most of the animals were out as we went on a Monday in October. Good price and well kept place. Eat before you come and bring unopened water bottles. As it's $5 for water $8 for soda $15-20 for a burger $8 for fries. Will definitely be back looking forward to Asia opening!

The zoo is absolutely a great place to visit!!! This is my first time going during winter, there is hot chocolate and the popcorn is extremely amazing. I would definitely say that no matter the season, you should take the family out to enjoy everything the zoo has to offer!!!

Had a really nice visit to the zoo this past week. It was clean and spacious with lots of things to do for everyone. My favorite animal exhibit was the polar bears and desert exhibit. They’re also expanding this zoo with an Asia continent that will be open in 2026. Keep up the good work guys! This is zoo is def worth all 5 stars!

We have been 4 times in the last month and a half. We love everything about this zoo! Be prepared to walk a ton. There is trams to help you get to certain areas of the zoo faster, but there will still be a lot of walking. Plenty of bathrooms and places to get food or drinks through out the park. We can't wait to go back again soon to see all our favorite animals!

One of the best Zoos I have ever been to. The sheer size and number of exhibits is always so inspiring. Other than the polar bear not being out and about during our visit, every other enclosure had the animals front and center. Even with the construction on the new Asia region, there were no issues with the tram running frequently. We make an appointment to come at least twice a year.

We recently became Members which is well worth the price. Parking is always a concern but surprisingly we found a spot close to the entrance. Our 2 year old enjoyed herself and enjoyed the many activities for kids. We will definitely return to take our time.

We took a day off and stayed at a nearby hotel to visit the NC Zoo. Something unique about this zoo is that it is funded by the state of North Carolina, one of two zoos in the United States to have that! I believe that this contributes to the low price of the tickets, as well. The tickets were $15 for admission, which is a very low price to pay for a large zoo. It is also a huge zoo- the biggest natural habitat zoo in the world! We did a lot of walking on this day, and it was great exercise. We went through the zoo in a few hours. They have food and souvenirs, as most zoos do. The souvenirs are priced reasonably, and the food is a little bit expensive. We did not end up buying food here. Overall, we had a really nice time at the zoo. There is a good flow to the zoo's route. We came on a cloudy, chilly day, so we missed some of the animals such as the black bear, the white fox, and other cool animals. That's okay, though! I plan on coming back. They are currently building a new exhibit area, which I am excited for. We ended up at the "end" of the zoo, in the Africa area, and were too tired to walk all the way back to the front of the zoo. Luckily, they have a Tram that runs through the zoo, so we were able to go back and hitch a ride. All of the people that were working and/or volunteering were very friendly. Our favorite animals were the sand cats and the polar bear! It’s pretty clear that these animals are well-taken care of. They also have a series called “Secrets of the Zoo” that goes over some of the day-to-day operations and behind-the-scenes things. Super cool! I always appreciate and support AZA-accredited institutions, and this is one of them!

The NC Zoo in Asheboro is awesome for anyone who loves animals and nature. It's huge, covering 2,600 acres, and they've done a great job creating natural habitats for the animals.
The best part is seeing the animals in these habitats—it feels like you're right there with them in the wild. They've got all sorts of animals, from elephants and gorillas to polar bears and red pandas. It's a real mix, so there's something cool to see for everyone.
They've got fun stuff for learning too, like guided tours, animal encounters, and workshops about conservation. And the whole place is well-kept, with friendly staff and good food options.
If you're into nature and animals, the NC Zoo is definitely worth checking out. It's a fun and educational day out!

This zoo is absolutely incredible! They have lions, tigers, bears, elephants, giraffes, ostrich, zebras, bison, polar bears, otters, alligators, gorillas, chimps, and more! They have a really beautiful greenhouse-style desert ecosystem that has an abundance of desert plants, birds, and reptiles native to the desert, which is particularly cool. The zoo is huge--we walked over 5 miles from the North America entrance to Africa and back to our car--so I highly recommend wearing good walking shoes. They do have a free zoo bus that will take you between the different entrances and they run every 15-20 minutes. They also seem to do a good job with having ramps and labeling where the accessible ramps are for entering exhibits. We went on a weekday, which I highly recommend if you have the option, since there were fewer people with no lines to get in and see the animals. The zoo is incredible regardless of time of year--even in early February, there was a ton to see and we had a great time. I consider the zoo a must-see in North Carolina!
I love kersey valley escape rooms my family and myself have completed all but their newest one. It's a great time and if you get the right game master it's even better. Shout out to Chris Evans he's the best we have had so far. It's a great place with a long history and good people running it. Their attractions are endless. We went with a group of 9 for our daughter’s 15th birthday, we enjoyed our trip here!
the sanitarium was the escape we choose… our guide Chris was very kind and communicative!
There were a lot of puzzles that were different and creative. I expected more live actors or a jump scare or somthing…That’s how it seemed to be conveyed that there were other people inside to scare your or to put you in the theme like dressed up, but it was just one person one time from a hole… and everything was just props or noise to scare you. We went during the day… I would suggest going in the later evening because you can see in the house too much…which makes it less spooky.
Erica Burtoff/Kurtz — Google review
My friends and I did sanitarium with high hopes. We were driving through on I-40 towards the mountains, and went out of our way to check out this escape room. We’ve done over 30 rooms, and hearing that is was an entire house got us very excited. The puzzles were well done and fun. The rooms had good flow. We liked all the different spaces to move through. And you could tell a lot of time and money went into building it. However, we all agreed it was underwhelming and did not meet our expectations. And here’s why…without giving anything away: There are five rooms, which means you have an average of 12min to get through each room and escape within 60min. It IS possible… if they changed a few simple things.
Unlimited clues are great, and help nudge you in the right direction when you are struggling. However, the clues would move faster if the game master was paying attention. We kept joking he was watching Netflix because he kept asking us what we’ve already done to figure out what we need to do next. That wasted time.
It was VERY dark in the rooms and they only give you one black light flashlight for a group of people. Luckily, we only had four people. I couldn’t imagine having more than that and no light. Thankfully no strangers signed up, because not allowing private parties unless you pay for 10 people was a turnoff. But only having one light automatically sets you up for failure by not allowing anyone else to see, while tripping over “dead bodies”. You can’t solve the puzzles without seeing! And they won’t let you use your phones. Later the game master said that people keep breaking the black lights, but they can buy a supply of cheap flashlights at the dollar store or on Amazon so players can see what they are doing.
Also, there is no board to write on. There’s a ton of numbers to remember on the fly, and we constantly had to run back and forth because we forgot the numbers. That wasted a ton of time. And again, you can’t use your phone.
Finally, we made it to the last puzzle which takes a significant amount of time to solve (but would take much less if we could write down our findings), and there is no clock to show us how much time we have. So the music speeds up, and then they say it’s over and the game master walks in. They should have given us a couple more minutes which is all we needed.
Therefore in conclusion, it was fun. But by changing a few things, it could be so much better and a memorable experience as opposed to blah and not worth the money.
1) give players a white board & markers
2) give each player a cheap flashlight or hide them around so we can each have one
3) make all your rooms private with a minimum of three or four
4) put a clock in the last room if not every room
5) make sure the game master pays attention
Do all that, and it’s a strong five star experience!

Great place for kids. I highly recommend getting there early otherwise the line in is incredibly long. Parking is $10 per car. There is plenty to do here and our kids loved it. There are many activities that are included with the corn maze ticket such as rock climbing, kiddie zip line, bounce pillow, and train ride etc. The ropes course, laser tag, and ziplines are additional costs and requires reservations in advance. There are bathrooms and concessions onsite. Food and drinks are a bit pricey for what it is imo but kids liked everything. Fyi I don't believe have to pay unless you want to do the corn maze and the rides of course. I believe you could just take your kids pay for their wrist bands but call to clarify. They don't offer military discounts either.

We did the first class package for the ziplines and had an absolute blast!! Our guides David and Matt were the best! Super nice guys, really funny and entertaining, and were so accommodating to the health issues a few of us had. We booked this adventure because my father has cancer and this is something he has always wanted to do. He was having a bit of a tough time with the stairs/heat and when I quietly mentioned it they were very subtle about slowing down for him and giving him a break before hitting any stairs. (Their kindness and compassion was so appreciated!) I live in Kannapolis but my dad traveled up from Louisiana and my sister came up from Texas and we all said it was totally worth the trip for them! They made sure we enjoyed every single trip down the line and made the experience perfect. Our pictures and videos are so good too and have been fun showing them off. Matt was even kind enough to recommend a really good BBQ joint when we were leaving. We will be back for sure and will be requesting them for any future zipline tours!

It was great to see the lights and walk through, but you have to buy the train tickets, and picture packages to make it worthwhile. As an adult it was good, would be better for a kid adventure than adult only. Otherwise, the guys at Kersey Valley never disappoint.

We had a great time! We went as a large group! The atmosphere was fun and exciting while we waited. They played music and the DJ kept us entertained during our wait. We loved taking pictures with the characters that visited us in line! The spooky woods/house was scary but we made it through! This may not be the best for little ones! The props and costumes were scary and gruesome! We had a great time but bring your patience as there is a long wait before you enter and a long wait to park! Don’t expect to get in at the exact time you reserved! Also, the staff and police on duty were kind and helpful. My daughter was scared and we were able to get her out of the woods with the help of an employee. I’d like to go back again next year!

Honestly an amazing experience. I don’t scare easily at all since I grew up watching jump-scare movies since I was 7, and the Spooky Woods have definitely made me jump quite a a few times. The entire event takes roughly an hour and a half to complete and it involves multiple houses along with a cornfield full of fog.
The actors/actresses were all amazing and the decorations were on another level!
I highly recommend this spot!

Spookywoods was amazing. I came from Maryland to visit my daughter, we decided to go with one of her friends. Arrived at Kersey and the parking line was long. We finally arrived at the entrance when I realized I didn't have cash to pay for parking, the officers were very nice and allowed us to park. I paid general admission and the line was long but the music and DJ made the wait manageable. The actors were great and the trail was long which adds up a great time. Well worth it.

One of the best we have been to! Walking through the corn field and seeing the haunted house through the lights and fog was an awesome experience, really felt like you were in the movies… and that werewolf was insane! Buy the VIP! Saves so much time! The back entrance is better than parking in the front, you get to ride on a tractor pulling a trailer which adds to it!
King Aelf — Google review
The props, stores, atmosphere, actors customs and makeup were all top notch; however, the scare factor just was not there, especially for the first half. The ICONS trail was too heavily graveled, making it difficult to walk in. Most of the actors didn’t engage as much as most haunts do (i.e., no chasing you with a chainsaw kinda thino). You go through an entire corn maze with NOTHING in it - what a waste of a great corn maze! With all the great buildings and props, it has excellent potential, but it’s not there yet. We drove 3 hours for it and were a little disappointed, as there are better haunts at home.
We did buy VIP tickets, so at least the wait was minimal.
Becky Reed — Google review
It was a solid time. Nothing too crazy or elaborate, and certainly not scary. Perhaps the venue was hurt by the staffing shortage, as I felt that the amount of actors inside the venue was lacking and attributed to not being scared much. The sets were well done however though and designed with attention to detail. Would recommend for a solid night out if expectations aren’t too high.

Took my husband, daughters, and a friend to Spookywoods this year. Had a little bit of a wait but not bad. We got there early and went on a Thursday! We also got VIP tickets which bypasses some of the time waiting in the line. They have a DJ and actors in the lines which make the waiting process a lot easier. I LOVE all the new sections this year. The ICONS section was my favorite. There is so much to see and do in this haunt. You really get your moneys worth. Plan on being there for a few hours. Lots of jump scares and some creepy sets. They really invest time and money into this sets. I have been coming here for years and every year I think they can’t possibly outdo the year before but they always do. FAN FOR LIFE!!!!

Really enjoyed the theming and the length of the attraction! Some of the scare actors were really on point and added a good jump scare. Though some of the actors needed some type of light effects to emphasize their faces and scare.
Over all I really recommend this attraction! Can’t wait to come back next year.

We decided this year to take our eleven year old for the first time. In the beginning we honestly didnt think she would make it through til the end. However the actors throughout the attraction really helped her. They would fist bump or high five all while staying in character. The overall experience was out of this world. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Sharing this experience with my kids is perfect. Another year in the books :)

We love Halloween Horror Nights but this Spookywoods is Amazing hands down the best I would recommend anyone to come out to this farm. They do an amazing job from the theming to the sets ups that they have and all the scare actors do a great job they play their characters to a t! The midway is great from a variety of food and let me tell you the apple cider donuts and slushy sooo delicious. I happened to meet the owners and the creators that put their heart and soul into this attraction and how many years it has been around and to see what it has evolved into is just amazing. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Spooky Attraction. Will def be coming back from Florida for their future events. I can't wait to see what is to come next.

This was a really cool haunt, very long, costumes and makeup were really good. But one of the houses was way too dark to see what was going on and I walked face first into a wall :( I would advise anyone going to wear good sturdy shoes, a lot of the walkways are pretty uneven. I’ll definitely be back next year, the value for price is significantly better than Scarowinds.

We had a great time visiting! Cast members were super fun and enjoyable to watch and interact with! Was with co-workers who had never been to a haunt so it was a lot of fun to watch them jump and scream with every little turn. Absolutely the best haunt I've been too! We had a blast and had some genuine scares. Even the line was fun to wait in. The scare actors go above and beyond expectations, and the witch dancing is the icing on the cake.

A beautiful cemetery 🪦 directly in between Old Salem and downtown Winston Salem. The headstones are equally placed and flat to highlight equality under God. This is a peaceful place to reflect on history and the lives who helped build this city. The cemetery has ♿ handicap accessible parking nearby but the paths do lack some accessibility.

This is an interesting graveyard. It’s very pretty and right by all the cool old historical buildings in Old Salem. There is some information posted about the graveyard - the main thing being the explanation for all the headstones looking exactly the same. This is to represent that the dead are all equal. I feel like the Moravians must also have felt that all are equal while alive. I wish our modern society could incorporate more of that way of thinking.

This is a FANTASTIC space for younger and athletic kids. This is a wonderland for kids. We took our 14 month old there and there are plenty of activities for him to do even at such a young age. Absolutely loved this place! My 2 hyper five year old boys especially loved this place! Each interaction and themed area kept them busy! The only thing I wished was better was the electronics. It seemed as though most of the electrically components, lights, sounds and such were all broken. And I wish there was a little more organization in each area after a group of kids go through. For the first time being there everything was throw about and slightly hindered the full use of the play areas. But overall we would still go back, but go when they first open not towards the end of the day.

This is an amazing place to bring children of any age. My two year old son had a blast here! There's a library area, workshop, a huge imaginitive play area, a climable multi story beanstock, and an extremely unique outdoor hanging playground. Although there is no place to buy food in the building, they do have vending machines and areas to eat brought in food.
While visiting on a Friday afternoon they had music time in the library where kids got to sing along, make music, and dance.

My little brother had a blast! We did just about everything but story time (we just missed it!). We took a walk around downtown to get some air and we came back for a little. He really enjoyed himself. I recommend coming earlier in the day.

Absolutely loved this place! We were in town visiting and looking for somewhere kid-friendly. The price can't be beat, and there are tons of hands on, kid-friendly activities for all ages. There's also story time with a library of books!

My 2-year old had a total blast here! We got some free tickets from my friend's job and showed up early in the morning. The kids had so much fun we stayed for four hours! They were completely wiped out by the time we left

Fun outing for kids big and small. Interactive and self led. Small enough that kids can comfortably have some freedom to explore without feeling like you might lose them.
The Old Salem Museums & Gardens Administrative Offices are situated in a restored 18th-century town that has been beautifully preserved. The core of the Moravian settlement of Salem comprises several blocks south of downtown, featuring gardens, museums, and shops with costumed staff and hands-on activities. If you're interested in Moravian traditions such as gardening, doctoring, and gunsmithing, you can pay for access to on-site museums and houses where guides explain and demonstrate these practices.
A must see for anyone living in or visiting North Carolina!! Tons of wonderful artifacts from the original settlement as well as gorgeous reproductions from today.
Although not fully open, my family struggled to see everything available because there was so much to see, do, & experience.
My family is definitely planning to return soon!!

We really enjoyed our morning walk around old Salem and found our way into one of the buildings where the attendant explained to us that only 3 of the buildings were free to go into. She took out a map and explained how it all works. It was our first time and we weren't interested in paying to see stuff, so that was helpful to know. She also told us about the old cigarette vending machine they had, now stocked with artwork the size of cigarette packs that you can buy. Each tab you pull has a different type of art by different artists and she explained what you get with each one. I bought 2 to give to my niece and nephew and can't wait to see what they get. Anyway, we wandered around old Salem and stopped at the bakery (nice gift shop and you can buy some Moravian baked goods - the ginger snaps were delicious and I wish I'd bought more). The single sisters home was not open and we didn't go into the church. There appeared to be something going on and a small band was playing in the park across from the church. The fall leaves were beautiful. A great introduction to old Salem.

A great place to walk around. I went early in the morning before everything was open and enjoyed the quiet time. It's a mix of residences and park buildings.
I'm told Halloween is bonkers.

So much history here!! It is a easy paced self tour. The bakery offers so many sweet breads, rolls, strudels and quick breads. We picked up a variety of baked goods and had to take a taste of each one. Everything was amazing!

It was amazing to see the old, historic buildings and to walk around the streets of Old Salem! It's amazing that many of these buildings that date back to the 1700s are now private residences! We didn't go into any of the buildings.

Totally wonderful. The staff is beyond gracious, knowledgeable and kind. Buy tickets at the museum or the visitor center. The Moravian cookies are out of this world! Lemon & ginger are the best by far. Definitely recommend

An amazing journey to the past! Beautiful houses, gardens, old trees, really nice people. Look like a scene of a movie, great place to learn about history with your kids.

This is a beautifully restored 18th century American history village that documents the contributions of Moravian culture in N.C. It was like visiting Williamsburg VA. without the long ride. So if you have a day or even a weekend, see this cultural making of simpler times. I found in their gift store a repurposed book creatively sculpted from the pages of the past "LOVE"! Your kids will love their Moravian skinny Cookies...so don't miss a stop at the town bakery Also their Village tavern for lunch is a home grown farmer's delight ... not sure if they take reservations as things change day by day. Check the times and dates because they are not always open. If the weather is good, do the free covered bridge, village, college, and the stone tablet cemetary first and make reservations for lunch. It took us a day. Explore the more detailed and diverse history of the village by planning an indoor tour of the many museums on a rainy day or hot afternoon.

Old Salen Museum is such a beautiful small village surrounded by a lot of vegetation and nature that will define toy make your day. You can just park in the middle of it and walk around and trough all these amazing (perfectly preserved) buildings. There are a couple of options for eating and taste some of their bakery and desserts specials and you have to take the time to visit the Salem College too which is also so cozy and beautiful. Look at the pictures to have a better idea of the place ;0)

Cute place, parking is available. Shares the history of Old Salem. You can buy tickets. You can also buy their bread and they have a safe that opened recently.
I really only go here for Pokemon Go. Good for Comm Day but it is outside.
I really wish WS had an indoor area with stops and somewhere else with many stops because I heard that the lady there doesn't like us "pogo players" walking around
Mountain park with a lake & river offering fishing, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding & camping.
As a British man, we hardly have trails like this in England! And wow what a beautiful hiking trail to experience! Definitely recommend walking up the mountain for the experience rather than just driving up for the view. It's worth the walk! Seeing all the beauty that covers the mountain, the streams, different trees and the wildlife! Luckily the trees provide plenty of shade so you've not got to worry about sunburn

This is a lovely day trip to make if you’re anywhere within a couple hours away. The fall of course is one of the best times to visit, but we’ve been all seasons and it’s still beautiful. There’s a look out area and several trails. Some shorter trails and others that are longer. There are a few tables and a covered sheltered seating area. There are public restrooms and dogs are allowed.

This is my first time here and is a good place to enjoy nature. It has hiking trails, camping, fishing, little museum about its rich history. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to get away for the weekend.

Loved it. According to the visitor guide, there are 50 miles long of trails within the system. I'd assume most people would enjoy hiking the main 6 miles round trail (from the park office to the scenic vista or vice versa). It becomes quite strenuous when you reach 3/4 to the top.

This park has a lot to offer and should be a destination for visitors from not only the whole state, but even neighboring states. There are plenty of beautiful things to see and many options for recreation. There are even nice cabins to rent, in addition to the camping opportunities. Whether you're just passing through or you have time to make a whole weekend excursion, this park can handle it all. I look forward to returning soon.

Park is huge and there's a big river where people can swim or they can do other water activities. There are special places where you can grill with your family. Nature is wonderful, you can just enjoy the view. I believe especially when it's autumn. I visited this place at the end of May. It was hot, but still worth to visit.

Clean and lovely lake-front park with a swimming pool, camping, kayak rentals, boat ramp, walking trails, bridal trails, small museum, and a great view from the top of a small mountain. It's dog-friendly, there are plenty of picnic tables, the restrooms are clean, and all the facilities that I saw were even handicap-accessible.

It was my first time here with my family. I love this park. We completed 4.2 miles hiking loop and it was amazing. The boat rental was closed for the season but the beautiful river and mountains are breathtaking.

I found this hike on the way to a Hornets game in Charlotte. It was a nice way to take a break during the drive and decompress. I wish I would've allowed myself more time but enjoyed the one hour hike I took.
There is some road construction going on near the park so I ended up having to make my way to a different entrance than the one Google Maps took me to. Once I was on the park road it was easy to get to the trail heads.
I took a mix of the Morrow Mountain and Backpack Trails. Their entrances were near the museum and office parking lot. They were easy going and there was some snow on the ground still so there were some beautiful views. Not too many hills. If I would have had more time I would have found the trail to the summit and took it for the big views but was running out of daylight. The park closes at 7 so I wanted to make sure I made it out in time.
It was fun hiking if you ever get close and I'll try to get back some day and give myself more time.

Loving visiting this state park!
My favorite thing here is to go kayaking and exploring the lake and it’s secrets!
Kayaking is $10 an hour and comes with an orientation and you can buy water from the boathouse for the trip. I highly advise bringing some sunscreen because the lake is going to scorch you even if it’s windy.
There are some secret spots you can explore and inlets/ rivers too. There are these hidden lakes that are pretty, you can always get closer to the dam and you can go down river to see the rest of the lake. There is a lot of lake to check out.
The hiking trails they have are pretty great too and you can find them in different difficulty levels and ones that take a short time or a long time.
There is also group camping, tent camping, primitive camping and RV camping so there are a lot of great things to do here.

Mount Morrow State Park
Located in Albemarle, NC in the Uwharrie Forest.
A little history--
-600 million years ago, this mountain was part of a collection of volcanic islands.
-10k+ years ago, the mountains were inhabited by Sapona, Saura, & Catawba indians who used the nearby Yadkin and Pee Dee Rivers to transport the tools they made from the Rhyolite stone.
-Europeans colonized the area in the 1700s and the park opened in 1939. It is named for James McKnight Morrow who donated 1000+ acres.
This park offers 14 different trails of varying intensities with most being considered easy or moderate.
There is one strenuous trail--the Sugarloaf Mountain Trail-- that you will definitely "feel" on the ascent with some parts of the trail seeming to be almost vertical, but you are able to catch some decent views near the top.
Don't forget to save a reserve of energy though, because the hike back up Morrow Mountain Trail is another doozie, even though this trail is marked moderate. My suggestion is to keep your head down focused on your steps and don't pay attention to how much you have left to climb.Your calves and glutes are going to remind you of it anyways.😉
You can also just drive up to the top to see some lovely panoramic views and perhaps enjoy a picnic or catch a sunrise in the winter months.

The rds in were well maintained, and what I could see of the trails they were well groomed with a crushed stone. The bridal trails were plenty, and there were several horse trailers that come in, so I am assuming they were good. The view was spectacular. At this time of the year, you can see for miles, and it was lovely to see the river and the houses along the river.

Another place to scratch off my places to see in the Carolinas bucket list before we move! There is soooooo much history I didn't know about on this mountain and I've lived in NC my whole life and its only an hour away from Charlotte. The park is HUGE! I went with my five year old so I didn't get to see as much of the park as I wanted because anyone with kids know you don't want to be stuck on a trail far away from the car with a tired child so we just explored a small part of this beautiful mountain. I definitely want to go back and see more of it!
Please excuse the pictures with emojis, as my son is underage I prefer to not post pictures of him publicly. There were a few old trees that have fallen over that my son was obsessed with. I didn't take many pictures because we really didn't stay long. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Kudos to Park Ranger badge 238 (sorry I did not get your name!) He saw me walking along the road, not a trail, stopped by, made sure I was alright, offered water, and asked if there was anything wrong on the trail. I love divine llama vineyard! It’s a beautiful property with lots of llamas! There’s a good selection of wines to accommodate all wine drinkers. My favorite two wines were the Versailles (white) and Merlina (red). I’d recommend to get the flight so you can enjoy 4 different wines! You can enjoy your wine near the llamas or outdoor seating (covered & uncovered). It’s a great place to enjoy and hang out with friends. The llamas will come up to the fence to greet you! They are fun to watch and have so much personality

I spent the day there for my birthday celebration with my best girlfriends. It was an absolutely fantastic way to spend some time together. Th setting is gorgeous, the atmosphere is very laid back, and the llamas are a short walk down a lovely path. We packed our own lunch and enjoyed a few bottles of their wine. I highly recommend going to check them out.

This was our first visit to Divine Llama Vineyards and it wont be our last. The staff was great in helping us select or wines along with making some suggestions for us to try. In the summer, we were told they have 3 bars open. The setting was laid back, relaxing and beautiful. They offer a nice Sharkoutary board along with a food truck that changes regularly I overheard. You have a great view of Pilot Mountain in the background.

What could be more fun than a Sunday Funday with wine and Llamas?! This vineyard goes a step further than your typical wine tasting and sit and sip. Grab a bottle of wine and walk around the farm and visit with the resident barn yard animals, and of course the main focus, the llamas🦙
Very friendly staff and many different sitting areas to enjoy your favorite vino after tastings. I heard about this place years ago and finally took the 1 1/2 drive from near Charlotte and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m glad I finally decided to make the drive up there! I think it’s a place that most an wine lover and animal lover alike would enjoy!

This has got to be one of my favorite wineries of all time! They have a great selection of wines, both dry and sweet, some wonderful dog-friendly seating outdoors to hang out, and best of all there are a bunch of llamas on the property and some miniature horses to boot! You are welcome to go out and visit with the llamas, and some of them are very friendly. As a bonus they have just had some llamas give birth, so we got to see the baby llamas who are just too precious. My favorite wines of the one I tried where the Mustang, Sally, in a heartbeat, and the Versailles. There is also a gift shop in their winery with a lot of llama related items.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Divine Llama Vineyards, and I must say it was an absolutely stellar experience from start to finish. Nestled in the breathtaking countryside, this vineyard exceeded all my expectations and left an indelible mark on my heart.
First and foremost, the location is simply magical. As I approached the vineyard, the lush greenery and rolling hills instantly transported me to a place of tranquility and natural beauty. The sweeping vistas were like something out of a painting, and the serene ambiance set the perfect tone for an unforgettable day.
The staff at Divine Llama Vineyards truly epitomize hospitality at its finest. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. Their passion for their craft and dedication to ensuring guests have an exceptional experience is truly commendable. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, eagerly answering my questions and guiding me through the various wines and tastings available.
Speaking of wines, Divine Llama Vineyards boasts an impressive selection that caters to every palate. Whether you prefer a crisp white, a velvety red, or a sparkling delight, their portfolio is diverse and expertly crafted. The attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality wines is evident in every sip. The winemakers' expertise and the vineyard's dedication to sustainable practices only further enhance the experience.
One unique aspect of Divine Llama Vineyards is, of course, the llamas themselves. These majestic creatures add an extra layer of charm and enchantment to the visit. I had the opportunity to take part in a llama trek, where I strolled through the vineyard accompanied by these gentle and friendly animals. It was an unforgettable adventure, and the llamas added a delightful touch of whimsy to the day.
The facilities at Divine Llama Vineyards are top-notch. The tasting room exudes elegance, with its tasteful décor and comfortable seating. Whether you choose to relax indoors or enjoy the picturesque outdoor seating areas, you'll be surrounded by beauty and serenity. The vineyard also offers private event spaces for those seeking a unique and unforgettable venue for special occasions.
Overall, my visit to Divine Llama Vineyards was an absolute delight. The combination of stunning natural surroundings, exceptional wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the enchanting presence of llamas made it a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this vineyard to anyone seeking a moment of bliss in the midst of nature's splendor. You won't be disappointed!

We visted the day vefore my best friend's weddinh with the wedding party. It is a lovely place, the wine is great, and they even have a beautiful Collie that will walk around a greet you. Didn't really get a chance to try many wines here, but their petit Verdot was really good. The property itself is really beautiful and of course petting and feeding the llamas is the main attraction of this vineyard. I would suggest getting here early before the crowd, that way you have a chance to snag a place to sit and the ability to do the wine tasting. Overall though, the staff I interacted with were extremely friendly and they were working their butts off to serve customers as fast as they could. I will definitely come back and try the wines they offer.

Recently had my first trip to what I now affectionately call "Llama land". Easy to get to from the triad and very convenient to Winston-Salem. Picturesque and quiet location has room to walk around and check out the llama activity which always makes for some fun. We really enjoyed the low key atmosphere even on a pretty busy day in the fall. The taco food truck on site the day I went put the visit over the edge. Had such a relaxing time sitting on the porch. Mix this visit with a hike on the surrounding area trails before you arrive for a day's worth of activity.

Had a great time for HBCU Night with Livingstone College. Please note: The vendors take credit/debit cards only. The lines are a little lengthy too; however, it's a great atmosphere. Very nice activities for kids such as water shooters, jungle gym (outdoor), and there is a lawn seating area for blankets and lawn chairs. The food is reasonably priced and the workers are very friendly. For example, a footlong hotdog/sausage/philly cheeseteak with chips is $8.50. A hotdog w/ fries is $11.00. Chicken tenders with fries is $12/$13. A drink is $4. A shaved ice starts at $5.50. The fireworks at the end of the game were great too. To add to crowd entertainment, there is a gold jacket wearing emcee who is very energetic. Overall - it's a great and affordable family fun night, corporate event, first date, couples relaxing, or girls night out.

Great facility to watch a game. Terrible facility if you want a hot dog or anything to drink. Stood in line for 3 innings to get two hot dogs and a water. Photo illustrates it. Hire more kids to take orders!! No cash accepted so I can't quite figure out how difficult it can be to hand out food and drinks.
Update: two games later I figured out why the concessions don't work. Their point of sale system is a joke! It's the longest part of helping guests move through the line resulting in meaningless wait times for a $4 bottle of water which equates to $186 in revenue for a single CASE of water!! Cut the damn prices of the water at least!

Now this is how baseball is supposed to be done! What a great little city and ballpark. Extremely clean all around and the brick look in the town is very classy. Prices are very reasonable for the concessions and the park itself if excellent. If you have access to the Kinectic Club, they serve a great all you can eat buffet up there in a very nice room. Friendly staff. Not a bad thing to say about the place other than I wish they had a more profound entrance to the stadium rather than just a gate and concrete. Highly recommend!!
The Charlotte Motor Speedway is a highly-rated, 138,000 seat stadium which hosts NASCAR races as well as other events. It's also home to a drag racing track and other attractions.
We did the drive through fan experience and it was way better than you would imagine from their website description. The history of the track was great and we got to drive and walk on the track and stop in the winners circle as well as the start/ finish line. It was pretty awesome!

Very nice and updated track, huge! Seating is bench seating with looonnggg benches, so if you are seated in the middle grab your food and go potty before sitting down, it is nearly impossible to slid back out. I absolutely LOVED this track. It was my first experience with a Nascar event and I enjoyed every moment! It was a bit confusing getting to my seat but the staff was very helpful.
Parking was complicated. The people directing traffic sent us to an RV park and we drove in circles for 20 minutes trying to get out. It was 20$ once we found a place to park.

We went to see Christmas decorations. The entrants cost is 45 $ per car. And its a bit much for the light show that we saw. There are some nice lights decorations and there're very simple one. They have a village Christmas lights in the middle where you can walk, grilled smorth on fire. And there's a shop you can buy different things. Also you can buy snacks.

I was invited by my sponsor Blackpearlshowboards along with Mr Ed. It was Mustang 6oth Anniversary. We were right outside the Pavillion Auto Show Case. Joey Logano his family and dad all came back and saw Black Beauty. I autographed pictures for Joey Logano kids. Now I can mark that off my bucket list

The whole facility around CMS is top tier. I love this track especially for the Coke 600 on Labor Day Weekend. It’s one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks and I always enjoy spending a weekend here. The whole track area is laid out very nicely and we even found a great area for parking! The fan zone and fan experience is amazing as well. Overall Charlotte is one of the best NASCAR Tracks to visit for a race weekend.
SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium, situated in the Concord Mills Mall, offers a diverse range of family-friendly exhibits featuring an array of sea creatures. These exhibits provide play areas and group packages for added convenience. With over 5,000 underwater creatures including jellyfish, clown fish, green moray eels, octopus, triggerfish, and various sharks, visitors can explore more than 20 themed showcases that mirror North Carolina's natural surroundings.
I had a great time! Reasonable price for 6 hours of aquarium time! Walk-through took about 45 minutes at a slow-casual pace. Beautifully themed displays, fish, jellies, and turtles live in close up exhibits. A touch pool lets you touch urchins and sea stars. Gift shop at the end had a lot of varied choices for souvenirs.

We went here while we were on vacation. Very busy place. It was just us two adults with no kids. We really enjoyed it, it was smaller than most aquariums we have been to, but the price was good and we did enjoy it. They did have several different species they are trying to save. Very informative if you read the information provided. The staff were friendly and actually seemed to like their jobs.

I had a birthday party here for my son. It was really nice. Staff was nice they even set up the party room. It was a little pricey but well worth it. They let you bring your own food unlike most places. My guests had a good time. I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful little aquarium. Very nicely done. Neat tunnel and varying views of large tanks. You could buzz thru quickly, but we spent a couple hours really watching everything. They do have an intractive touch tank as well. We were surprised it was located at a mall, but that made it very convenient.

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!!!!
Please do not judge this place by what you see from the outside. Not that the outside is in bad shape or anything, but you would think that there's not a lot to see............you would be wrong!!
This is a very informative, colorful, and clean aquarium. You can tell that the sea life is well cared for and that the habitat encourages growth and comfort.
I actually came for Beasley but found so much more. I definitely recommend for children, family and friends, and even an evening date. I can't imagine this place will disappoint. ESPECIALLY THE TUNNEL!!!
I hope you enjoy the pictures and videos. This place is as cool as it looks.
PS - If you time your visit right, you can watch them feed throughout the aquarium.

Was a great time for the family and kids! They have quite a lot packed in and some pretty amazing aquatic life. We had a great time, and the costs were not excessive, especially considering it kept us busy for hours. Would absolutely recommend for a family afternoon out if you are looking for something fun and educational for your friends and family.

So much fun! We got there closer to close than I would've liked, but the staff was so friendly and helpful. We got to see brand new baby seahorses and there was a super friendly looking puffer fish. We loved the tunnel!

Great experience but the cost should be much lower for the size. We paid more here to visit that many other aquariums that were double and triple the size. As for the variety of sea life and staff, they were above and beyond. I also like how they provided extra education activities for younger ages. A great 30 to 40 minute activity with a younger child.

Had a great time. It took about an hour to walk through everything, but you could return at any point during the day. We also did the behind the scenes tour and the host, Matt, was great. He also interacted with the adults and kids in the group. Amanda was amazing at answering questions. We bought the VIP picture pass and it was definitely worth it.
Hades Daughter — Google review
Little pricey for as small as it is. I was not expecting it to be in a mall. Can get crowded in a heartbeat with little wiggle room to see anything or to get away. They do let you go through as many times as you want, so that helps, some. They have a tunnel which is cool but the lighting isn't set up well, so it's not easy to tell what you are looking at sometimes.
I did NOT realize this was geared directly at kids. My bad for not doing more research but it's super kid friendly, which means it's not adult friendly in terms of viewing or moving around. Also, by kid friendly, I mean exhausted parents that don't give AF what their kids are doing, which is screaming, yelling, tapping glass, shoving each other, crying and running.
So yeah, I just wanted out of our Airbnb on a rainy day and thought a visit to an aquarium would be cool. It wasn't as awesome as I hoped. But hey, floaty-butt turtles always make any day better.

An absolute must for kids!!! Everything is their height, 100% interactive displays, hidden portholes and the Junior Range kit keeps them engaged looking closely to really appreciate the different species. We did the behind the scenes tour and learned a lot. Staff are all top notch. Worth every dollar. Went with grandma and my 5 year old son and they were both beyond thrilled.

Some very nice exhibits but it is very small for the price.
There is a nice kid’s area and some good pop up spots for viewing fish. The tunnel is short but has many creatures swimming overhead.

We visited while we were in town for the holiday weekend. SeaLife was fantastic and they had a lot of aquatic life. We loved our time there. Unfortunately, we went on the busiest shopping day of the year, so getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare. Would recommend visiting on any other day though.

My husband and I are both in our 20’s without kids and we were pleasantly surprised by this aquarium! They had a good amount of different animals including stingrays, sharks, fish, turtles, and many more. We were able to touch starfish and sea urchins. I enjoyed the turtle rehab section where we could see a turtle who was rescued from the ocean because he was stranded and injured. They had a cool tunnel you could walk through to see the animals as well. This was a great experience for the price!

Sea Life was nice. We were hoping it was a longer undersea stroll but the location is probably the reason. All the exhibits were breath taking.
I'm not sure but I was trying to add a video. I was trying to show an exhibit where it looked like skinny snakes poking out of sand trying to get the small fish. It was so amazing to watch. I can't seem to show.

Went there with a group of people, and it was a blast. I loved the little shipwreck they had and we loved doing the stamps. Even though it was a great experience overall, it was kind of short. But yet again not surprising since it's in a mall. It's a great place to go to with kids or to go to on a day out.

How delightful to have an aquarium within the Concord Mills mall! We're not from the area and I love aquariums so this was a pleasant surprise. I was really impressed with the size of the aquarium itself and everything it has to offer. They have a touch pool which is fun for kids and adults alike. They have an underwater tunnel which is exciting. I think the porcupine fish might've been my favorite. He was huge! Highly recommend and will visit again.

My family and I visited a beautiful place over the weekend. An aquarium where you can see unusual bright fish. Electric skates, sharks, moray eels, sea stars and much more. There is a petting pool where you can touch starfish. It's unusual and interesting. Come see this beauty. Lots of useful stuff.

My wife and I went here while we were in the area on our honeymoon. It was fascinating to observe the creatures up close. We developed several favorites. Personally, I enjoyed watching the stingrays, sharks, and the fish that tirelessly dug holes in the sand. The staff, notably Greer, whom we spoke with, was exceptionally helpful, polite, and informative.

For being a small aquarium in a mall, they have several fish and even a cute rehabilitation tank that currently is hosting Beasley. It was really cute and had a lot of exhibits in it, surprisingly, including an interactive touch pool. My nephews enjoyed it, smallest barely wanted to leave. I would definitely recommend it for younger kids or people who love sea life in general.

It is bigger than I expected it and they’ve done a great job with this aquarium. Organize, clean, different fishes. Easy to navigate. Pretty good size, not too big or too small. The staff were polite.
I went Friday at 12pm and there were only two more families at the time so it was a great experience.
Once you buy tickets you can leave and get back inside as many times as you want. At least that’s what they told us on this date.

Very neat stuff here. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Just wish it was a longer attraction for the money. The kids enjoyed it but I don't see this being a "season pass" type attraction.

When I saw this aquarium was located in a mall I had low expectations. I could not have been more incorrect. Not only was this location large enough to entertain adults for an hour, but they have an ocean tunnel, in a mall! The facility was well kept, the tanks were all large and not overcrowded, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus it was affordable. 10/10 would recommend checking it out while you're in the area. Then you can go shopping in the mall, knowing you're in the same building with fun things like sharks, eels, and jellyfish 💛

Sea Life Charlotte-Concord is an incredible little place. I worked with several staff members (Kaitlin, Jasmine, and Erin) who treated me like royalty to make for a very VERY special night.
I was able to set up a beautiful proposal and evening and they helped at every step. They set up special lights and stayed open a little late to help make this magical moment happen.
The aquarium itself is very nice. The decorations are perfect (lots of pirate decor) and the flow from room to room makes the aquarium feel five times bigger than it actually is.
I am forever grateful to the lovely people that helped me propose to my wonderful partner. And I will be back many times to enjoy both the aquarium and the memories made that evening.

I absolutely love this park, it’s located in the perfect spot right by the lake. It’s always quiet and clear right before closing. It’s the perfect place to reset and paint. Maybe some grilling …. Whatever you like to do at a park you can do it here PG13.

You must visit this park if you are looking for a clean, shady, convenient, and awesome place to have picnic at or just enjoy your day walking on the trails. I was absolutely amazed at how convenient this place is especially the parking around the park near good spots. No need to walk a mile to take your belongings or to get to your vehicle. Every little spot has its own parking and being with 2 kids i loved that.
The entire park has a paved trail. The restrooms are only by the main building and they were clean. There is an event center and while we were there we saw people doing photo shoots, there was also a wedding event going on.
My kids had a great time playing by the water. Beware that swimming is not allowed and you will be asked to leave the water if spotted by the police or park ranger.
Find yourself a spot and enjoy your day!

Anyway people can play in the water.

Every time I come to this park I truly enjoyed it! There’s a beautiful lake view when you walk on pavement. There’s picnic tables and it’s dog friendly as well. I love watching a sunset and taking some pics!! It’s a great place for landscape and portrait photography.

Wonderful park with lots of walking trails. Several beachy areas. Apparently you are not allowed to swim or play in the water at the beaches. You can get your feet wet but that is it. Signs with fines and security/park police will write tickets.
Several boaters came near beach dropped in swimmers. That seems to be ok.
Several people launched paddle board, kayak and blow up boats. Nobody seemed to bother these individuals. So that too may be ok.
Enjoyed a little picnic and dice game while watching the water.

A very nice park with a great walkway all the way around in a loop. You can also ride your bike, skateboard scooter etc. on the same path. There are tennis courts, playground and a gazebo. They even have a beach area, however going into the water is not allowed. There are lots of nooks & crannies and of course trees where you hang your hammock for a siesta. You'll often find wildlife buzzing around, with lots of birds, ducks, geese, squirrels, etc. and occasional snake. Plenty of areas with picknick tables and BBQ grills. Overall a great place to come a relax a little piece of nature.

What a gorgeous park to spend the day at! We were traveling through the state with our travel trailer and stopped at this gem for a couple of hours to stretch our legs and have a meal. We biked around the whole park with my son and he played on the playground, then we had a meal at a picnic table and went on our way. There weren't any parking for RVs but we found a spot to park at. We loved
it so much that we stopped here on the way home as well.

I adore this park! Absolutely love it!
I have it as my home park, I refuse to live far away from it.
The walking trails are beautiful, the barbecue pits are plentiful and spaced out, so there's options in case one family got there before you. The playground is amazing! It is shaded and helps prevent heat stroke and sunburn in the summer.
There's a little beach where you can tan and watch the boats.
All in all, my favorite park!
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in the state, boasting an array of fish species that make it a popular attraction for families. The area offers plenty of recreational activities such as kayaking, biking, hiking, and swimming, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can also take advantage of the educational center to learn about the lake's history and its reach throughout North Carolina.

For us this was an exploratory visit.
From Charlotte (south of the lake), Google brought us to the northern most point, where the visitors' center is located.
I expect there are other points on the lake that would be more convenient to Charlotte but going to the visitor center explained the park's main feature is the bike trails (Hiking too, I guess).
Visitor center: gift shop & public restrooms.
No entry fee.
No parking fee.
Picnic areas, some with BBQ pits, for family sized group. Larger areas for organized events also available (reservations may be required).
Canoe & paddle board rentals.
Nearby boat ramp available.

Place is absolutely beautiful. Great place to hang out. Been here a lot, so it’s definitely worth it. Other than the water getting dirty at times, it’s a great destination to hang out. It truly is our own Inland Sea. Grew up on the shores of LKN and now spend just about every weekend March through September on the lake. Absolutely the best sunsets around.
Neal Young — Google review
Wow! This lake is a perfect slice of paradise smack dab in the middle of North Carolina. Great for boaters, swimmers, or just chilling on a quiet dock somewhere. The water is murky green and you can’t really see to the bottom, and there are small leeches in the clay that’ll attach to your feet and legs, so there’s all that. The Duke Nukem power plant pulls water from Lake Norman to cool off the reactor, which I’ve heard heats the water a bit in the South end. Pretty sure it’s not radioactive but I didn’t bring my Geiger counter. If this place ever goes Three Mile Island, those million dollar homes will be worthless, so rent, and enjoy the lake while you can. Watch out for Normie the Lake Monster. Reports say you’ll see him if you have too many beers.

Great family place. Kayaking, biking, hiking, or swimming, or camping you name it. You can do it all at Lake Norman.

Beautiful hike! My husband and I took the Lake Shore Trail to the 2.5 mile point and then cut to the short trail (it was hot and we didn't have enough water)
The trail is natural and in a few spots not really well marked. Roots and rocks make it important to watch your step.
We saw lots of spiders, a black snake and squirrels, but its the trees that really make it! The canopy gets really thick and the path shaded.
We can't wait to go back!

The NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina is dedicated to the sport of stock car racing and features interactive exhibits and a theater. The museum has grown from dirt tracks to super-speedways over the years and features memorabilia from famous NASCAR drivers. Race fans can visit the museum even if there is no race meeting going on.
My boyfriend and I came here for a day date, there was no line or anything- we like to do things that are fun and interactive. This was my first time at the hall of fame and there was more to do than I expected. The tickets are pricey but It would be a great place to bring kids if I had any. But it’s great for just adults too! I definitely recommend doing the racing simulation if you go, they were closing soon and let us do it for free and it was super fun, but typically you have to pay extra for it. We live uptown so we didn’t have to pay for parking but I suggest finding street parking and walking a little bit as opposed to a parking deck.

If you are in Charlotte, it is a fun place to visit and good for all age groups. You can buy tickets at the booth or book online, either you it works. Consider family membership option if you are family of two and have 2-3 kids, as the family membership provides more value for money and you get two buddy passes which you can use immediately during the visit if you have more than two adults in your group. Simulation drive is included with the family membership, so value instead of combo tickets. It is a long line sometimes and probably most times to get into simulation. You can easily spend 3-4 hours at the museum, rest rooms are clean and very accessible.

Its interesting and they have guided tours as well as a pit crew test where you can compete against other people. Not very expensive and they have a military discount, but not first responder for entrance tickets. It's interesting and neat to see the cars. But for 34 dollars and 12 dollars for parking. Unless your a really big fan of racing save yourself some money and skip this. There's a 12 minute movie that was interesting. But the best thing that is offered is the simulation it will have a long wait unless your going to stay all day plan on going on it once. Nascar is a billion dollar sport and this was the best they could do for its hall of fame, sorry but it's a big disappointment.

We had an absolutely amazing time here. About $ 80+ for 3 people with 2 of our tickets being discounted military. There are packages you can purchase to include a simulator ride. Very interactive. You get a card to scan at the stations for more information or to activate the kiosks. You can take a picture and get your face and name on the large jumbo screen with your favorite drivers you select underneath your picture welcoming you. There was a simulator qualifier, the real thing and a timed pit crew simulator. Super cool museum to view the history of NASCAR, owner and driver history. Amazing time for all.

We got to go after hours with our convention, so it was pretty packed, and im not sure how that compares to a normal experience. If you're interested in Nascar, you'll love this place! Pretty cool for a half day activity and have fun games and activities for the kids. Wish there was more representation of diversity and some bumper cart action to tie it all together. A bit underwhelming for how big the building is.

Great for kids, honestly it was much more interactive than I thought it would be. They have an individual card for you to use and scan throughout the tour to customize your experience, lots of models of the engineering and building of the cars too. They went all out on decoration and props, the place is extremely clean and well kept. 4 stories, but with elevators and ramps leading all the way up it's not a difficult jot though they said it takes about 3 hours to complete we were done in about 2. If you pay the extra for the driving simulator, there will be a bit of a wait and we didn't have that kind of time. All in all, great value and a good memory

Great place to visit if you're a Nascar fan of any kind that said, overall great place to visit. Even if you are just a car fan, it's well laid out and very interesting.
Extremely clean, if you care to eat there the cafeteria is not overpriced and is much faster than trying to eat in Buffalo wild wings which is attached. You can wait there till you're gray-haired and probably never get a table.

What a fantastic experience. One of the friendliest environments I have ever been in. From the front desk to the workers on the floor it’s like they were all trained at Chick fil a. Super high level of customer service at the hall of fame. The exhibits were beautiful and the car simulators were awesome. But the most fun had to be the pit lane simulator where you physically have to do a pit stop on a car. Such a great place to visit I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone

I'll admit, I'm not a die-hard NASCAR fan, but my visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte was surprisingly enjoyable! From the moment I walked in, I could appreciate the rich history and the excitement that surrounds NASCAR.
The exhibits were thoughtfully put together with interactive displays and engaging videos, making it easy for someone like me to learn and get into it. I was especially impressed by the Hall of Honor, which introduced me to the legends of the sport and their incredible stories.
Even though I'm not a racing enthusiast, I had a blast with the simulator experiences. It was a unique chance to feel what it's like to be on a NASCAR track, and I found it really fun.
The staff members were friendly and happy to share their knowledge, which helped me understand more about the sport. And the gift shop had some cool NASCAR merchandise that even a casual fan like me couldn't resist.
So, even if you're not a NASCAR fanatic, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte can still be a fun and educational experience. It certainly was for me!

I had a great time exploring the history and memorabilia of the Nascar Hall of Fame. Seeing the cars up close and on the banked track of the rotunda, you really get a feel for what it's like being a driver. Upon entry, every ticket holder receives a plastic, credit card sized card that helps you interact with the displays and make it a more personal experience. With the race simulator (for an additional charge) and the pit crew challenge (included in general admission), you get to experience what it's like to sit in the driver seat and be a pit crew member.
There are also tons of artifacts on display with a brief story behind the person that wore, drove, owned, or turned a wrench on. With so much to see and learn about, you really need multiple days to explore, but it's also makes a good day trip. Whether you are a Nascar fan or not, it's worth seeing at least once.

I purchased the number three combo pack and it was definitely worth it! The barbeque beef sandwich was great! You also get a $10 credit for the gift shop which is pretty cool and a free photo! There is the option to buy a second photo for $15.
The employees were friendly and it was fun exploring the museum!

I don’t know what kid or adult wouldn’t like this place!! Definitely going back! Well worth the money. I bought tickets online, but there still would have been no wait! Very organized and structured. Bought a package that comes with the simulator, lunch, a certificate to the gift shop and other goodies! Very interactive and educational museum! There’s like 3 or 4 levels to the museum so wear your walking shoes. A theater with a 20 minute show is included you can watch at your leisure.

Beautiful facility with kind and welcoming staff. The facility is setup so nicely! You will see and learn all aspects of NASCAR including detailed history. Don't skip the simulator and pit crew challenge. Well worth the price of admission. There is limited street parking but there is an attached parking garage. We went on a weekday (Thursday) and it wasn't busy.

A truly amazing experience. The architecture of the venue alone is a marvel. The cars, suits, helmets, trophies and other exhibits are wonderfully arranged. Do not miss trying the race simulation in a model car and the pit stop challenge. Something not to miss by any means when in Charlotte

Huge place. So much to see and do. So reasonably priced for all you get. Simulators, pit stop challenge and so many more interactive exhibits. We stayed 3 hours but, could have stayed 5. We loved it.

If you're a die hard NASCAR fan who appreciates the history, you'll likely really enjoy a visit to the hall of fame. For me as a casual fan at best, I had a very underwhelming experience. Also, I wouldn't bring kids here, they'll be very bored. The best thing was that all of the workers I encountered were nice and helpful. Everything else I found to be very boring and quite overpriced. The driving simulation was kind of cool, but was quite far from a realistic experience overall.
If the cost of admission was half of what they charge, I'd feel a bit more like I got my money's worth. Otherwise, it's just boring and overpriced. Plus you have to pay for parking too.

This place is fun for all! Knowledgeable about the sport and even had live simulators to enjoy from racing to pit stop challenges. Recommend getting the package to eat and enjoy free memorabilia and photos with crew or family

Pretty cool experience. I was able to go through a company party so everything was available for use. The driving simulation was really cool. You first qualify on a machine with a steering wheel and then you get in an actual life size Nascar and race with a screen in front of you. 16 people were able to race each other at once. They also had a tire changing challenge. The whole walkway up goes through all the degrees of the tracks. It was pretty cool. It also had a ton of memorabilia for Nascar fans.

Definitely a bucket list place for any NASCAR fan. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. I arrived a little later on a Saturday (after lunch) and it wasn't crowded at all. Lots of history and memorabilia there, stuff going way back.

Best place for inspiration and race car fans. Their display was beautifully done and they speak for the self. I would recommend go spend atleast few mins to read story around it. Overall was very inspiring and motivational visit

Fantastic museum completely different than I was expecting.
The cars are very well arranged, clean, all details and information about them with pictures and displays.
Information about the roads where they race, angle of the road in all angles. Their car simulator is a must to do for if you want to have the feeling of drive those cars at high speed.
They have a theater room to show movies of cars competition.
Better yet, they have discounts for seniors.
I recommend this place to all ages and gender.
The Mint Museum Uptown is a five-story art museum with a variety of traveling and permanent collections that features American, Contemporary, and European artworks. The venue offers numerous visitor amenities, including public spaces for learning, shopping, and dining.
This place is ridiculously beautiful. Security isn't too overwhelming. I wonder how cool it is to be an art museum security guard. You get to just walk around art all day. Anyways all of the art, exhibits, and installations are extremely beautiful and thought provoking. All staff is friendly, the environment is clean, and there's lots of space! Will definitely comeback to finish my tour!

We visited Charlotte from out of state. I’ve been to several modern art museums before but this one is by far my favorite. I thought the admission price was very reasonable and everything at the museum was nice and well maintained.
The special exhibit was movie and film awards. I really enjoyed it! The rest of the museum was divided by art mediums. I could’ve spent hours here (we spent about 2 hours). I also loved that we were able to exit and return later that day. We ended up getting a bite to eat and coming back. There is a restaurant attached the museum where they offer brunch and live jazz music. Their gift shop was also really nice. If we had more days on our trip I would’ve considered going to the Randolph location. Parking is included as well underneath the museum. This is a must visit even if you don’t love art!

The art here is very profound and original. They have something for every audience and I happened to arrive on a free Saturday which was super cool. I would definitely recommend this museum 👌 it takes about an hour to two to explore fully depending on your pace.

This is a beautiful building and great experience. There is a very nice store on the first floor with great gifts and offerings from all over. The exhibits change regularly with a wide variety of. The museum itself is located centrally to many other interesting places to visit

Such a gorgeous museum and an enthralling experience. The exhibit on John Leslie Breck was breathtaking and I highly enjoyed learning about him. There was much to see and it really keeps you happy. Also, admission is free Wednesday nights 5-9pm.

If you're a traveler looking for a great place to spend a few hours or even a whole day. This place is packed with incredible art from some of the world's most famous portraitists, painters, and sculptors. Plus, there are tons of cultural relics from around the world, representing different peoples and religions. You won't regret checking out all the galleries and soaking up the fantastic atmosphere. It's truly a wonderful experience!

The only art museum that has a quaint family room where plenty of art supplies are available to let our imagination go wild. They have cool stencils on salmon and how the artist applies it for her work. Kids and adults discovered how different materials are used in art, and they got inspired. 5 stars

This was a nice art museum with a large variety of different styles and mediums. It's located right downtown and is only $15 to get in. You get your money's worth as you can easily spend 1-2 hours here checking out all the different exhibits. Gift shop leaves a bit to be desired, but everything else is great.

Big museum with lots of amazing art. I enjoyed the contemporary art and sculptures. The chair exhibition was interesting to see and admire the handiwork. Nice to see a Dale Chihuly sculpture hanging near the entrance, too. Staff was friendly and admission was reasonably priced.
It was not crowded on the Friday we went so we were able to take our time and enjoy the museum.

The Mint Museum Uptown is a good place to visit in Charlotte for well-made items of art and design. It's free to visit every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It's on the smaller side for an art museum. Even if you take your time, you can visit all the exhibits in two to three hours.
Here's an excerpt from the museum's website regarding parking:
Mint Museum Uptown offers $10 maximum validation to our visitors in the Levine Center for the Arts parking garage located on Brooklyn Village Avenue between Tryon and Church Streets. If using GPS, you can enter address 130 West Brooklyn Village Ave, Charlotte, NC 28202 to find the garage entrance.

Amazing museum that's definitely worth a visit while in Charlotte. We spent about 2 hours here and enjoyed works by well known and lesser known artists. The art of seating exhibit was there while we were in town and gained a new appreciation for chairs. Front desk was helpful and provided great recommendations. The museum gift shop also had some fun and funky gifts to shop.

Very cool, unique art museum! I'm usually not the biggest fan of art museums, but I thoroughly enjoyed looking at most pieces here. The chair exhibit was so interesting & different!! My friend & I had so much fun taking the quiz & drawing our chairs. It really helped immerse us into the art. It was very calm & quiet throughout on a weekday afternoon. I really enjoyed how many POC & women artists they featured. I almost wished there was w even more since they tended to have the pieces that spoke to me the most! Definitely recommend visiting here with the wide variety of pieces!

The Upton Mint Museum is a fantastic Art Museum in a beautiful city.
The museum features glass art, ceramic art, wood art, fashion art, modern art, furniture art, classic oil paintings, watercolors, impressionist paintings and more. The collections are creatively put together and hold your attention throughout the visit.
I especially enjoyed the wood collection, glass collection, and the sculptures. I am not much of an admirer of modern art but, I still enjoyed the color and texture of their collection. The open atrium area contains a four-story painted glass window which beautifully fills the room with vibrant colors. It is a pleasure just to sit and enjoy the room.
If you love art, come early and plan to spend the day.

The temporary art exhibit was spectacular. The Mayberry depiction was the most poignant and thought provoking.
The Bank of America Stadium is a football stadium located in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina and home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers. The 75,523-seat stadium has been designed specifically for NFL football and features luxurious boxes and an open-air grass field. The stadium also has a large tailgating area which makes it popular with fans of all teams.
Overall my experience was good. I am Atlanta fan and came to the opening game where Charlotte FC played LA Galaxy. Good atmosphere. Looking forward to more games here.
The only negative: need better security at the gates when coming in and fixing the lines. I think this will come in time as they handle big games.

As far as NFL stadiums go, I would put BOA in the middle of the pack as far as how nice it is. We have been here for a few events the last couple of years and always have a good time. There are lots of food options in the concourse to choose from as well as plenty of drink options. Our last visit we were up in the suite section, which is really nice. Everything up there is air conditioned and we had everything catered for food and drinks, which made everything pretty easy and quick. I would always recommend getting a Bojangles box, it is worth the money more than anything in the stadium.

Haven't had a bad experience here. I think I've been twice and both times were great. Entry is simple and quick, in my experience. Plenty of resources, the bathrooms are clean and sufficient, and the seating is good. Definitely recommend for whatever events people may be looking to attend.

A clean and stunning stadium in downtown Charlotte. The city skyline made for a beautiful backdrop; especially when all the lights started coming on. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a few unruly fans in our section and security did a great job diffusing the situation and kept everyone around from being interrupted from watching the game. The food selection was beyond amazing. The souvenir cup for free refills is definitely worth it. A great stadium to enjoy a game!

I came here for the Panthers Bucs Game. It was with some family friends and it was my first ever NFL game. The atmosphere here is amazing and they have a really nice stadium and everything. They lost 10-3 but it was alright. I was in one of the sections near the scoreboard but still they were great seats and saw a lot. Wasn’t terrible coming in or leaving and it was a fun game and fun experience. I’m a NY Giants fan but I’d certainly go to another panthers game knowing I’m from Durham and it’s not terribly far

What a great experience, very easy to navigate, each employee was friendly, very clean & so well set up. I mostly appreciated the escalators lol! The Stadium is HUGE & great for many types of venues. It's very easy to get to from the interstate & parking was expensive but not bad for the walk. I didn't see much security in the Stadium as I did outside, I may have just missed them, but I never felt unsafe.

Home of the roaring Panthers and the cheers of their loyal fans 🏈🐾 Welcome to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina! 🌟 #PantherNation #CharlotteNC #FootballSeason
This stadium is located in the heart of uptown Charlotte. The seating is comfortable and offers great sightlines of the field. They offered a variety of food and beverage options, from classic stadium fare like hot dogs and nachos to more upscale options like BBQ and craft beer. Lines can get long, especially during peak game times, so it is advisable to arrive early or plan accordingly.
The stadium also offers a variety of amenities, including a team store, a Panthers Hall of Honor, and a kid’s zone. The team store offers a wide selection of merchandise, from jerseys and hats to unique souvenirs. The Hall of Honor is a great way to learn about the history of the Carolina Panthers and the NFL. The kid’s zone offers a variety of fun activities for children, including inflatable games and a climbing wall.
One of the unique features of Bank of America Stadium is the ability to take a tour of the stadium. Tour guides take visitors through the stadium, including the locker rooms, press box, and field. The tours are informative and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the stadium.

My son and I were in attendance for the Charlotte FC inaugural home match. The stadium is a very nice venue, especially considering it's age. Entry into the stadium was extremely quick. Traffic was very slow near the stadium. We parked in a garage across from the stadium. We won't make that mistake again, but will plan a little better and just walk a few blocks to the stadium.
Overall it was a great time.

Did the 5k for the Levine cancer center this morning. The best Saturday I've spent in a while. We were fortunate to have 3 generations walking for family. Must say that I'm not fond of the field being a soccer field though. Very nicely done, clean, and will be back soon for my panther's games. Loved the experience, and was well planned.👍💙🖤

Dream come true. I thought I would never get to see panther football game in my life. After I wining the football tickets form Amazon. I finally get to see the game. My first time ever going to watch the Panthers game at the stadium. It was humongous! I had a good time with friends . But hey, what do you expect, it’s costly going to a football game. I would definitely go again though. There was face painting there too and I got myself one. I say, go give yourself this experience just once to see if you like it.

Bank of America Panthers Stadium has been newly renovated to include better tech, seating as well as a locker room for the men's soccer team. We attended the epic Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour concert at the stadium and the new design is impeccable. The entire staff was extremely attentive and approachable. A beautiful venue.

It was my first NFL game and my 58th birthday!! Except for the loss and the cost of some items, I was very happy with my experience. Tickets were cheap because it was a preseason game. Parking cost near the stadium was astronomical, so I opted for free parking and the low-cost LYNX rail ride into downtown Charlotte. It was easy, safe, and convenient. Stadium concessions were very pricey, but I was impressed with the fact they offered alcoholic drinks other than just beer: You could get cocktails, wine, and hard seltzer too!

First time attending a game here and the experience was very good. My daughter and I came to town to watch our Dallas Cowboys play the Panthers and I gotta hand it to the Panthers organization, this was a very smooth and well organized event. I would recommend arriving when the gates open and just walk around and familiarise yourself with where things are located (it’s really pretty self explanatory and well marked). The staff members are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of security. It really was a very enjoyable experience especially since the Cowboys won

We had an excellent first time experience here at the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte. We sat in the silver club seats (section 313), which gives you access to a comfy indoor area with nice restrooms and plenty of bar & food options. The seats were comfortable folded-chair-back seats. There are two large score board screens at each end zone, and the game info (down, yards, play clock, etc) can also be seen directly across the field on a smaller screen. The staff was very prepared and made sure things went very smoothly, such as security check and scanning your phones for tickets. If you want to be sheltered from weather and sun, choose the higher rows in this section (19-21).

Atmosphere is electric here and the fan base for Charlotte fc is phenomenal. I’m coming from RSL culture in Utah and their fan base is a joke compared to here.

Back of America Stadium is a great place to watch football! This stadium gets a bad rap as talks of a new stadium are continually being mentioned. Let's be honest, BofA has some old bones. Some of the railings are bent. There are parts that are rusted. Some of the chairs are squeaky. It has character for its age. The best thing about BofA stadium is that there isn't a bad view in the stadium. You may be winded going up those flights of stairs, but you can still see everything just fine. A bonus is if you sit on the 550s side, you'll get a great view of the skyline. The concessions are solid. Bojangles, Krispy Kreme, & Domino's are our usual choices. The beer prices are as expected ($11-12 each). Whatever may happen to this stadium, I don't know, but for now, I'll continue to enjoy football games here & I hope to someday catch a concert here as well.
