Pier Park is a large, busy shopping mall with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The mall is great for people who want to spend the day shopping, eating, and checking out attractions. There are over 120 stores in the mall, including a Grand IMAX movie theater and laser tag.
Amazing visit in PCB! There are so many restaurants, shops, and fun things to do and try! Great for all ages, and right next to the beach! It's a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of swimming, and I must say, the view at night is absolutely divine! You can get a wristband to walk out on the pier at night, and to look back at the lights and listen to the ocean takes you away and makes you feel free. The scenery is amazing, and during the day, the atmosphere is fun and inviting! You'll want to spend a whole day exploring and enjoying everything Pier Park has to offer and you're sure to find plenty of souvenirs to take home!

Really nice area on Panama City with a lot of activity for children or adults restaurants everywhere many stores and shopping with a lot of seating if you just want to seat down and enjoy the view.
Highly recommend especially on night time the atmosphere is really cool.
If you are in Panama City you have to check it out!

The 'Sky Wheel' is not your typical 'ferris wheel.' It is worth riding for the views alone. Pay attention at purchase. '3 attractions' is the cheaper option for 3 riders of the wheel. You must check out the free face painting booth! Amanda is amazing & did an awesome job on all 3 faces! She made the girls so happy!! The Aladdin man juggling was pretty neat, too.. & even took the time to let the children learn along beside him.

On a day that seemed to flirt with gloom yet graciously withheld its full embrace, Pier Park in Panama City Beach revealed itself under the nuanced light of spring break 2024. The mercury touched a comfortable 71°, crafting an ambiance that was neither too warm nor too brisk, but rather an impeccable middle ground for leisure and contemplation.
The imposition of a four-dollar entrance fee was an unexpected twist in the narrative of the day. Yet, in the grand scheme of experiences and the memories they bequeath, this modest levy scarcely registered as a grievance. It was, at most, a mere footnote in a chapter filled with the serene beauty of the park and the gentle murmur of the sea.
The park's cleanliness was a silent testament to the conscientious efforts of those who steward its grounds. In a world where the natural and the man-made often clash, here they coexisted in harmonious respect. The absence of litter was not merely a detail but a significant character in the story of the day, reflecting a shared commitment to preserving the beauty and dignity of this communal space.
Awarding Pier Park a four-star accolade is an acknowledgment of its subtle charm and the understated way it provided a backdrop to a day that could have easily tipped into dreariness but instead held a certain luminous quality. The park, with its clean environs and the soft, forgiving light of a clear but overcast sky, served as a reminder of the simple joys that are often overshadowed by grander expectations. In its quiet dignity, Pier Park offered a space not just for recreation, but for reflection, making it a cherished waypoint in the journey of life.

This place was a great visit for me and my family. There is pretty much everything in here from clothing to surf/skate boards and to food and deserts.
Also easy access to the pier on the water. Could not find a “public. Bathroom” without going into a store to use. Great visit along with a movie theater also!

It's a great tourist stop. But we are locals now, and despite being local, we really enjoy coming here. There is a lot of stuff to do for the kids, as a couple, and as a family. The escape rooms are awesome, and Dave and Busters can get crowded, but that's to be expected. There are lots of places to stop and eat, plus the ferris wheel is amazing. When family comes to visit us, this is a great place to take them.
Victoria Black — Google review
Pier Park is okay. There is plenty to do for all ages. My teenage son and I especially enjoyed the view from the SkyWheel (Ferris wheel), except it is completely overpriced. For example, I paid about $50 total for both of us to ride the SkyWheel for a matter of minutes. For double that price, we could have spent an entire day at an amusement park full of rides, which would have been money better spent.

Awesome fun! My granddaughter and I have dubbed it, The Greatest Playground in PC. If there had been a place to pitch a tent, we would still be there.

It’s an awesome place for families with kids. Lots of things to do. The beach was also lovely and clean to sit and relax. Recommend, I would say this is probably the only good place to hang out during the summer in this town

It's a nice place to visit as a tourist. So many stores, attractions and restaurants. You can see everything from the top of the SkyWheel. There's a pier u can walk on across the street for a $4 fee. I've been here a few times and enjoyed myself every time.

Had a great experience here, there are tons of shops, stores, restaurants, activities, sights, and more! Great place, went here with my group and we all had a great time. You could definitely spend quite a bit of time here exploring, and going through shops.
Jacob Edson — Google review
So much to see and do! It was $4 a person to enter the pier but so worth it. We even saw a dolphin showing off in the water at the end of the pier. There were so many cool shops and wonderful restaurants to choose from. There is something for everyone!
Tharesa Martin — Google review
A lot of fun to walk around. A good variety of food choices. The shops are a mix between the expected beach shops and some nicer stores you’d see in your hometown. We rode the Ferris wheel and did the bungee jump. Loved both. I gave it four stars because on Saturday night there were a lot of big trucks coming through revving engines with teens hanging out windows. The vibe changed a little toward a more rowdy feel. Not a huge deal but enough for us to call it quits and head back to the hotel. Aside from that, it was really family friendly.

Great tourist spot. My second place of visit in the Florida State. Many shops, eateries are available. Ferry wheel is major attraction. Vehicles are not allowed to move in the street. Walkers can walk freely. A huge parking space is available.
Parking is free.

Definitely a must stop by and walk around place! So many things to do…shopping, amusement park, boardwalk, great food..etc
Golden hour is best time to go!

Something for everyone. Good assortment of stores, restaurants, gift shops, specialty stores, sweet treats and entertainment. Parking very close by. Close to the ball parks, beach and pier. Does get a little crowded during the tourist season sometimes but you can always get around if you don’t mind walking a little.
William Bruckert — Google review
It was just okay. We enjoyed the sky wheel and mini golf, but bring lots of patience and money. Way too busy, but it is spring break.
Samantha Grayson — Google review
Decent shopping center/strip mall adjacent to the beach and pier. More of a tourist attraction. Very busy and lots of traffic (spring break time); summer may be busier and some times may be quieter. Okay to experience, but too busy if trying to get to the beach.

Cool place for family! Pier was awesome and alive and also had dog beach! Did wish there was some more food options though.

Gulf World is an aquarium that houses a variety of animals, including dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and tropical birds. The aquarium also features animal shows and exhibits, as well as a night show in the Tropical Garden Theatre.
This place is a MUST GO vacation attraction. From the moment you walk inside you are greeted with nature. The birds are out free and not behind glass, they must be trained very well to know not to fly or wander off, or attack customers. It was great to see them up close! They also have the sea lions that will come out every now and then and you’re able to view them from a close range. It was cool to see all of the turtles, fish, alligators, and sting rays too. They even had an employee who held an iguana and allowed for us to touch it! It was a very cool experience. There are open spaces for a picnic, or break from walking. There’s even a kids area where all of the children can go and play. Plenty of signs and back drops for pictures too. They do have a concessions stand inside for food and drinks, it is a bit pricey so I would suggest bringing your own. I did not see a water fountain and it was extremely hot out today so dehydration is a concern when visiting. Please bring a water bottle if you can’t buy anything or don’t want to stand in the long line. The establishment was fairly clean and does have a bathroom and an air conditioned space within the facility. My favorite part about visiting today was the dolphins! The mermaids/trainers are amazing at guiding the dolphins. It was so lovely to see. The program was also very informative while also being entertaining. I would definitely recommend coming here if you haven’t already.

We have never been to Gulf World and thought this time we should check it out while in Panama. I would not ever want to be there during a crowded season. It's a very small place compared to any zoo or aquarium we have visited. Being an off season now when we went it was fine. It was more expensive than for what we could normally get from other experiences at zoos or aquariums but it is still very enjoyable. I liked how you can pay for extra interactions and photos with the animals. We only needed two hours there so it is also good for a stop without it taking up an entire day of your vacation. It was pretty clean also. The dolphin show was fantastic and that's where I consider I mostly got my monies worth so if you don't see it you might as well just wait until you are sure you don't miss that.
Kristiana Miller — Google review
I love that this place takes in animals that can not return to the wild! A rehab for the animals but I can’t help to think some of these animals needed to be separated.
I was able to do an encounter with this lovely sea lion Cooper! He did some tricks he hasn’t performed before. I would not recommend some of the tricks for younger kids because he is heavy. However he is a smart sea lion. He was free to go if he didn’t want to do tricks or interact with us. And that’s one reason I really loved this! I also had tons of questions about him and his species and the trainer was very kind and educational! We were only in the pool for about 20 minutes. I wish we could have done more. But I’m glad the staff had some boundaries on what could and could not be done.
The turtles were moved inside the building and they were attacking each other. The sharks in the tank outside were attacking each other as well. I tried saying something but I don’t think there was anything they could do. The shark was trying to tare off the other nurse sharks tail. And they were at it for hours.
There is a touch area for the sting rays where you can pet the top of them. You can also feed them. However there was a customer picking them up out of water many times and laughing at it. Telling his kids to come pet them. The staff members near by didn’t seem to care. Kids were leaning over the wall and one almost fell in. Again nobody seemed to care. I almost ran over to the kid because I thought he was going to fall in and his parents were not paying attention.
The dolphin swim adventure was really cool. You can take pictures with the dolphin and he takes you for a short ride on his belly. The dolphin was treat motivated. I don’t think the dolphin would have participated if he wasn’t getting treats the whole time.
Overall this was a great experience. But a friendly reminder these animals have their own minds and should be respected. Don’t do anything that could provoke them. Listen to the trainers. And please watch your kids.

We had the best time at Gulf World on Labor Day. It was too hot to be on the beach so we took the kids to explore and have fun. My 3 year old was mesmerized by the dolphin show. It was her first time seeing marine life up close. She was so excited to be able to touch a dolphin with the photo opportunity after the show. The reusable souvenir cups were amazing and I love they had 1 dollars refills for the icees. All the staff walking around were kind and helpful. We only ran into one lady at the outdoor food window that acted annoyed and wasn’t the friendliest. Overall, it was a great experience and very educational. I love they talk about reducing waste and recycling to help the marine life. We’ll be back again.
Holly Gray — Google review
We had a nice time in spite of the heat. There were not as many marine animals as we were expecting. The facility is showing it's age, but is well maintained for the most part. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative with the one exception of the obnoxious guy at the photo counter. We booked the morning time from 09:30-1:00 and the first chance to see dolphins was not until 12:30 so we missed it because it was too hot. Overall a nice experience, but not up to par with similar facilities on the gulf coast that charge less for admission.
Larry Clark — Google review
Love this place so nice great experience over all but the prices are wayyy to high and it’s hard to be able to get a full experience of the place without spending a ton! The place is clean the staff is nice and the animals were incredible. I will be back here for sure and hopefully pricing changes to make it more affordable for families to really experience the animals in a more up close way .. my kids had a great time and loved it here as well.
J Tay — Google review
This place is great if you want to book an animal encounter otherwise not worth the price for just general admission. The website wasn't clear that general admission was INCLUDED in the dolphin encounter so l ended up buying general admission also, that was non refundable. They need to make a change to the wording online. Also the email I received stated that there would be photos "for purchase" after the dolphin encounter yet they were actually included. The dolphin encounter was amazing and such a once in a lifetime experience. The photos didn't turn out that great though. A lot of the photos I received were very over exposed the camera settings need to be changed to correct this issue. There weren’t any areas to change after the dolphin encounter, so I had to change my clothes in a dirty bathroom stall. The rest of gulf world outside of the dolphins was pretty small. The enclosures were also super small for the animals.
Gabrielle Bollerer — Google review
Really great shows! The dolphin show was my 5 year old's favorite. Well done and the animals seem to well cared for. It's a great place to hit up in PCB if you have small ones or are an animal lover.
Jules Hoehn — Google review
Had a pretty good time viewing the animals located at the park. I will say that once you are in the park, everything seems like a money grab. The pictures offered with the animals run $10 a piece and can really add up. We looked at the swimming with the dolphins options, and came close to purchasing the packages. The cost isn’t cheap, but not necessarily super expensive given the opportunity. The only problem I had with the encounter was the banning of any kind of cameras, of course they offer to take pictures for you if you purchase a picture package along with the already pricey activity. The package does not specify how many pictures you get, if more than the singular pics that were offered at the end of each animal program. I just think if I’m paying all that money to swim with dolphins I should at least have to option to bring a water proof camera, ie go pro, to capture this amazing opportunity. Even as an observer to capture my children enjoying the moment. At least admission to the park is included with the cost of the activity. Unless we took part in one of the animal encounters I think the one visit would suffice and would not see a reason to return. Then again the kids and wife enjoyed it so you never know.

My daughter and I enjoyed a girl's day on our vacation here. We could not have asked for better! The shows were amazing and the staff was wonderful! My daughter asked to come back again! It is a very small place but, if you time it right and hit all the shows, you will have the absolute best experience!
Laura Gooch — Google review
Dolphin show, sting rays and sea lion talk were highlights. Much of the time we spent there was self guided and we spent about 3 hours there. Good for a partial day activity but wouldn’t plan on spending more than a few hours. Many options to pay extra for are presented throughout your time there including photo ops, interactions with animals, etc.
Our 4 and 7 year olds loved the sting rays and the dolphin show. I had a hard time hearing the person talking during the dolphin show, which took away from the experience a little. You can tell the trainers and animal care teams truly care about these animals.
Shelly Eberlein — Google review
My family and I had a nice time!! We wished we would have gotten there when they opened as we didn't get to see the encounter with the sea lion. But we did get to see a lot of neat animals. We also got to pet and feed stingrays and see a really neat dolphin show. So overall we had a good time and the kids really enjoyed it
Brittany Barnes — Google review
For an aquarium, I expected to see more fish, especially ones that are local to the area. We did see dolphins, parrots, sting rays and sea lions. There were also penguins and other random enclosures. I would not say this was your typical aquarium. The highlight of our day was definitely the dolphins. It was worth it to see the dolphin show alone.
Alicia Hauna — Google review
What an amazing experience! We did the dolphin royal swim. Everyone I have talked to that has swam with dolphins anywhere else says they just get to touch them and that’s about it… Here we got to swim out in their tank 2 different times and they gave us rides. We also got to enjoy sea lion shows and a dolphin show with our tickets. Highly recommend. This was the best day ever.
I am always hesitant about places like this but ALL of the animals here are very well taken care of and everyone we met were there for the right reasons and their main focus was keeping all of the animals healthy!
Krista Roten — Google review
I’ve been here twice in the last four years and I love it. The park is small but the shows will keep you busy for
3-4 hours. I like how they coordinate the shows so that you get a chance to see them all. I only wish the animal encounters were a little cheaper.
Melinda M — Google review
The entire family, with 10 people voting (5 children under 10), were unanimous that this was not worth the time or money. The dolphin show is the best part of the park and provides good entertainment while also educating attendees on topics of biology and ecology. We expected to see more of this level of care in the other attractions, but that standard was too high. The rest of the attractions are very poorly designed and maintained. Although the staff was friendly, they are stewards of a park where the leadership appears to have stopped caring. The Tropical Garden Theater attraction attempts to entertain the audience with feathered and furry animals performing cute tricks, but the script is slow and the animals at our showing were uncooperative. There was almost no attempt to educate the audience on the animals, their biology, their native habitat, or conservation efforts. Our family has all agreed that we will never go back.

A must do if you are visiting the panhandle. Worth the drive! You could easily spend 4-6 hours here if you wanted to see all the shows and take in all the exhibits. Super impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the entertaining amd educational shows. The Little ones were enthralled by the variety of sea life and exhibits.
Eric The traveling scuba diving bugman — Google review
The place could use some updating. I am sure they took a hit from the pandemic. Staff very cordial. Biggest ever Veteran's discount. Great variety of creatures and touchable stingrays. Displays are mainly indoors. Easy to find with free parking. Many concessions and the obligatory gift shop. Would be good for a "washout" beach day.
Timothy Robieson — Google review
I was not expecting it to be as good as it was! The dolphin show alone was worth the price of admission. I loved the sting rays, the sea turtle, the sea lions. Everything was so interactive and entertaining. Fantastic experience all around!
Brandy Stephens — Google review
A lot of cool animals, with quite a few you can get up close to. We had a good time here and would go back again. They didn't have their normal schedule going on the day we went, so can't speak the whole experience. Definitely a good place to take the family. Does look like they need to do some renovations there, but that didn't hinder our time there. We would visit again.
Matt Richards — Google review
We did the dolphin adventure with my 2 girls one 7 one 3 and it was a pricey but worth it experience. Girls had a blast and the pictures were great and included. As a spectator the seating area is in the sun and the experience area is a shaded area. We are on the beach 30 minutes in the sun won't kill anybody and I have no complaints. Would definitely do it again. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. My only complaint if you want to call it that was we bought tickets for event beforehand and internet says to arrive at 9:15. We did and weren't let in until 9:40 or so. Again little time in the sun won't hurt anybody.
Matthew Booker — Google review
Positives:
The animals are undeniably beautiful, despite the less-than-ideal conditions of their habitats.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the habitats are too cramped for the animals they house, and some of the animals appeared unhealthy.
Even TripAdvisor doesn't recommend this place due to animal welfare concerns.
Food Court:
I tried the chicken nachos, which were standard park fare. Nothing exceptional, but they did the job.
The hygiene in the food court was subpar. A flickering menu on a TV with an exposed cord didn’t inspire confidence. And those paper fans for sale? Well, one had a squished fly underneath. Not exactly appetizing, especially considering it was inside the kitchen.
Bathrooms:
The bathrooms were downright scary. No stalls—just a large room with a toilet. Trash bins propped open the doors, and there were dangling electrical wires. Not the best experience.
Shows:
On the bright side, admission includes a few shows. The bird show stood out—well-trained birds that younger kids will enjoy.
Odd Room:
There’s this peculiar room with nothing but a small disco ball awkwardly tucked into a corner. Oh, and a projector sharing outdated info about a missing lizard. Odd, indeed.
Overall Verdict:
Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place. The treatment of the animals alone is concerning, and when you factor in safety, hygiene, and overall care, it’s best to steer clear.

Fun little park!! Perfect size for young kids and pretty reasonable priced.
Has small exhibits of penguins, alliagtors, and birds. Also has a large pool with a few animals like a nurse shark and large sea turtle.
There was only one sea lion but it was a fun little show with it hopping in and out of its pool and staff sharing other information about sea lions.
We loved the sting ray exhibit, that was the best part!! That was the coolest thing to feed and touch them!
Also enjoyed the dolphin show!! I was impressed with the training as I used to visit sea world when I was young and the dolphin exhibit was comparable to that.
Overall we enjoyed it. Only thing I could add was maybe to update the little playground area.
Lisa Roelofs — Google review
Do NOT recommend. We were completely floored by the conditions of these poor animals habitats. The sharks’ and huge turtle’s “habitat” was literally just a swimming pool with nothing added to make it look more like their natural environment. I’ve been in backyard pools that were bigger than their home. The sea lions’ habitat was honestly nauseating because it was so small. Again, nothing in their habitat to make it feel an ounce like the ocean or whatnot. The one sea lion looked so depressed. The alligators were just chillin on concrete. Don’t waste your money or time.

A lot better than we thought it would be! Get there early - best shows start around 10-11. Food is decently priced . We loved the dolphin show

This place is a hidden gem. We thought we were only gonna spend an hour or 2 ther and my girls had so much fun we were there for 4.5 hours. They had fun little shows with the animals and awesome dolphin show and my kiddos loved feeding the stingrays. I would recommend!!

Overall a decent experience. Myself and youngest daughter purchased the dolphin encounter. I called before purchasing the tickets and was told as long as she’s 40+ inches tall she’d be able to participate. I had to hold her the entire time, which was fine for me but unpleasant for her. The water was definitely not clear and seemed dirty. I had anticipated the water to be clear/cleaned beforehand because of the photos they’ve posted on their website are clear water. The photos we received were decent. The times to the establishment weren’t clearly stated. Online it stated one time and on their phone line it stated a different time. It’s a decent place to take your children.

We visited on vacation with our kids. Mixed reviews on this one. The dolphin show was incredible. The remaining part of the facility didn’t seem the best from the animals perspective.

Old dog track facility that needs a refurbishment. Decent dealers. Played 1-2 and it was a VERY wild table (which I was told was very unusual). Next time I'm in the area I will stop by

We love to play 3 card. We called the number to make sure they would open a table before we made the hour and a half drive. We called 3 times and no one answered.
We decided to go anyway. We got there and I politely asked the so called manager if she was going to open a table. She rudely said no and that they didn’t have enough dealers.
I told her we tried to call 3 times and no one answered. She told me that we didn’t call and that they had been near the phones all night!!!
Unbelievable. A lot of the dealers were rude too.
They all need a lesson in customer service.
Will never go back

Great Wednesday $120 NLH tournament. I like the 9-per-table format. Good dealers, nice staff, reasonable concessions. Only complaint is one of the elevators wasn't working. That will improve as the renovations continue, I'm sure. I had a great time, and wish KC had something like this.

I am pleasantly surprised by the Ebro Poker Room! Non-smoking, good food (daily specials), comfortable, and clean. Tournaments and cash games for Hold'em plus other casino type poker games. I’ve been playing poker here since they first offered it in the late 90’s. It has come a long way since then. Since 2017 I play on average about 1000 hours of poker here every year. I also travel and play poker all over the United States. Comparing Ebro to all of the other rooms I have played I can make pretty reasonable comparisons.
1. Poker action: maybe the best in the nation. Texas is close.
2. Dealers: some of the best dealers I’ve ever sat at a table with work here. As with any room there is a range. But I’d put this staff as a unit up against any room in the country on average.
3. Food: all of the food is good. It’s expensive. But it’s good. And the wait staff are amazing.
4. Facilities: this is the main shortcoming. Old building. Disrepair in places. Hot in the summer. Sometimes cold in the winter. I mean it’s a really old building and that shows. What I will say is that the staff have no control over this. And the staff does an amazing job of being generally professional, courteous, and pleasant while working under those same conditions. So kudos to them.
If you like action games, professional dealers, pretty good food, and a night of poker, Ebro is as solid of a place as anywhere in the US. Their facilities being the only shortcoming I’d mention. Hopefully soon the owner will invest into what could be an amazing poker room that rivals any in the world.

I drove 425 miles from Orlando Florida to go to an audition to deal near poker room on January 17th the same day so by the time I got there I had already been in the car for nearly 7 hours I was greeted with Keith and to other staff members sadly enough they said that I failed the audition I felt that I did the best that I could and I know I can deal deep down but they felt otherwise although they were very nice and cordial they would not give me a chance to go on the floor I mean imagine driving near your 1100 miles in one day to go to a poker room to try to have a chance to deal I know I could deal but when you're driving that many miles in one day nearly 7 hours it's almost impossible anybody can forget what you do know and I felt that I could have been given an opportunity maybe to get my skills brushed up or at least give it an opportunity to try to see if I could do the job maybe by working behind the scenes a little bit but they wouldn't even do it it was almost like I was set up to fail and I'm very heartbroken and sad to know that I will never get a chance to deal other than that the poke room was very clean everybody was well-dressed it was a really nice place honestly so that you're in Panama City I would check it out it really is a very nice place overall and had a casino type atmosphere but the fact is the way that audition went down it's no surprise that things went down the way they did and I don't think they really understood what I had to go through to get there and if they would have just given me a chance to deal a little bit I'm sure I would have done an excellent job but to drive all that way very disappointing and heartbreaking and I guess I'll never get a chance to work at any program ever again

This is a nice place to go and enjoy. They have dog races here which you can watch and you can bet on them as well. They have cheap beers here so I am assuming other alcohol they sell is cheap as well. They also have a poker room here which is good. 60 dollars is the minimum buy-in. They also have poker tournaments here and couple other games to play

Love the Ebro. Go there whenever we are in Florida. Wish we had a place like this close to us. Like a bingo hall, only Poker.

We make it to Ebro anytime we're down at our condo in PCB. It's a great poker room with a decent amount of table action.
Located in the northwestern region of Florida, Panama City Beach is a popular vacation spot and waterfront town. An attraction dedicated to oddities and oddities of all shapes and sizes, including shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons - Ripley's Believe It or Not! is a great place to spend a rainy day in Panama City Beach. With four main attractions (the Odditorium, the 7D Moving Theatre, the Impossible LaseRace, and the Marvelous Mirror Maze), it has something for everyone. Prices vary depending on what you want to do, but combo tickets are available.
It's worth doing once. There is so much stuff and to really get the experience your going to read a lot but it was a ton of fun. The mirror maze was really cool for me and my daughter, but didn't take long. We ended up going back and forth a few times. I will say, the weird space room was fantastic and it made it seem like we were floating. Loved it.

I’m gonna start off by saying it is very overpriced for what is there. It’s a good place to kill some time. My kids were more interested in the gift shop if that says anything. The 7D game was the most fun. If you wanna just kill some time id say yeah go for it, but other than its quite expensive especially if your taking more than 2 kids.

Absolutely wonderful! So intriguing, so amazing that one man could have amassed that wealth of collections from around the world. Just a number of places you visited was absolutely incredible. The museum is a great insight to everything that was going on with Mr. Ripley and what he accomplished. You will not be disappointed! We did not do the maze, but the theater is a lot of fun! Take your time and make sure you get a chance to try everything in the museum.

We decided to visit while we were in town and we ended up having a fantastic time. The exhibits were interesting and the interactive aspects were a lot of fun. The 7-D movie was about 5 minutes but was pretty fun. The mirror maze was a lot of fun as well.
Loren Fowler — Google review
Neat auditorium as usual, the mirror maze was entertaining as well. The 7D movie was also fun. The laser maze was not good. It did not work properly or set up properly I'm not sure. All I know is it turned on the lasers and music and did nothing else while other people kept trying to come in as well. Perhaps have an attendant over there to help direct everyone? It was costly as with most Ripley's but with exception of the maze I'd definitely recommend a visit. Also for the military people they do offer a pretty decent discount.

Definitely a fun place to take the kiddos, I would recommend for at least ages 5+ Our 4 yr old couldn't do the little movie theater ride. He wasn't tall enough, And he didn't seem very interested in the 'Oddities' attraction other than the little playground thing halfway through. And the maze scared him. The older two 8 & 11 had a blast. And were very invested in each attraction. So Definitely something that age group will find fascinating . For adults the place is loaded with a ton of interesting facts and a few good info-videos. Lots of neat artwork, and historical tidbits. I definitely want to come back just me and the hubby so we can really take it all in without being pulled through by tiny impatient people lol.

I first visited as a child so to be able to bring my husband, son, dil, and grandchildren was Such a rewarding experience. They did not disappoint. I recommend the pass for everything and don't forget to go online and get your discount coupon. It was worth it. It was worth every cent. I hope to do it again.

It was a fun museum. My only complaint was I felt the price was high for how short/little the museum was. I would expect 2-3 hours for that price, it did not take us that long. Family of 6- 3 year old free so had to pay for 5 which was about $150 with the mirror maze. They had a decent section on the Titanic, which we enjoyed. Some of the survey questions were wrong though- for example one questions asked how long it took to sink- it should have been about 3 hours but that was marked wrong.

Believe It or Not!! We purchased our tickets online which was easy. The kids didn't really enjoy this place. Some of the exhibits freaked my little one out so he was ready to go. It's a nice place just to kill sometime and get out of the summer heat.
Kay Lafleur — Google review
My wife and I went with some friends and loved it! We paid $35 each for the “VIP” experience which seemed like a great deal compared to prices of most other stuff in the area. We loved all of it: the mirror maze was fun and not too short/long, the laser maze was fun, the 7D ride was a surprisingly fun shooting game with a scoreboard, and the odditorium was great. Several interesting exhibits, impressive dioramas, and more! Some of my favorite displays are in the attached photos, great place for people of any age!

This is a fun location for an afternoon outing. It only took a couple of hours to walk through the entire museum. There was a lot of history and interesting exhibits. A few were interactive. Exhibits. Some fun activities for the kids. The cost was reasonable. It's not very friendly for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. There are a few stairs to climb and a lot of walking. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Jennifer Mordan — Google review
We were looking for something inside to do since it was so cold out. We bought tickets online and there was no line once we got there. Pricing wasn't terrible and was right around the price of other things to do in the area (zoo, marine center, etc) I have a 15 yr old and a 5 yr old. it felt like there was enough to keep them both fairly interested. Giving 4 stars because it did look like it could use a few upgrades and some TLC. We would suggest it to friends in the area, but it's one of those places that once you've been, you probably wouldn't need to go back again (unless you just really wanted to!) Overall a good experience, spent about $75 for 3 adults, my 4 year old was free. Then spent about $45 on 'souvenirs' in the shop.
Meg D — Google review
We visited here over the summer and it was a BLAST! I will say, I thought it was tied in with the crazy building across the street, but they are their own separate experiences. The displays are impressive and interactive. It kept my teenagers entertained for a few hours and that’s no easy task! I’d highly recommend!
Amanda Fraley — Google review
There are three different things to do here, which are the mirror maze, museum, and VR shooting gallery. We did all three and, while each one was fun, the mirror maze was the best. It was short and challenging, while also having history displays hidden within.
The museum is quite large and will probably take you about 45 minutes to an hour to get through depending on how much you read.
The shooting gallery only takes about five minutes and is moderately fun.
Dalton Carney — Google review
Ripley's offers a neat experience that you won't find elsewhere. While I do wish there was more to see/do (spent ~2.5 hours here), there is variety of displays and interesting topics to learn from like the Titanic, unique artwork/sculptures, deformed animals, and even cannibalistic rituals
Tyler Norris — Google review
The 7d zombie thing was so much fun! The mirror maze did give me some anxiety but we did make it out lol.

We meandered for about 90 minutes then had another 15 minutes or so of fun in the maze. My 10 year old didn't want to leave the maze 😅

Visiting Ripley's Believe It or Not was an incredible experience! The attractions were diverse and entertaining, especially the 7D theater, which took us on an immersive adventure. The mirror maze was a fun challenge, adding excitement to our visit. Throughout the exhibits, we encountered fascinating oddities and unbelievable facts that kept us captivated. The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall enjoyment. It's a perfect destination for families and friends seeking an unforgettable day of wonder and amusement. Ripley's Believe It or Not certainly lived up to its reputation, leaving us with cherished memories and a desire to return for more incredible discoveries.

If you're looking for a fun afternoon out with family and friends, Panama City Beach Winery is the perfect place. With award-winning wines made from fresh Florida produce, it's no wonder this winery is so popular. Tours and tastings are available for wine lovers of all levels of interest, and between the lovely scents of fruit and the serene surroundings, you may just get hooked on wine yourself!
Love love PCB winery! Our favorites are the Midnight Sun (orange coffee), Peach, Mango, red and white sangria, Key Lime, and really—everything is great! The tasting gives you so much to choose from, and includes and smoothie treat of your choice at the end! Friendly staff with great recommendations. Can’t wait to purchase more for family friends and gifts.

Sarah was fun and informative for my first “citrus” tasting. Love the store. My favorite is the key lime sparkling and wine!! The orange frozen was spectacular. Can’t wait to make it up at home!
Cleon Broussard — Google review
Such an amazing fruit winery. Normally, I am not a fan of fruit wines. They are usually a grape wine (often muscadine grapes) that is fortified with fruit juice or flavoring. Not something I really enjoyed.
This Winery is a cut above all others because their wines are made from 100% fruit juice. For example, the blackberry wine is made out of 4 lb of blackberries. Likewise, the mango wine is made from mangoes 100%. For us, the hands-down winner was the orange coffee wine. Not only was it very unique, but sipping it prior to eating the desert you could pick up on a lot orange flavor with a hint of coffee in the background. If you took a bite of the desert, the coffee notes were more pronounced. I highly recommend going for the free wine tasting. It was amazing.

We finally made it. We were referred by friends who knew we were wine people. Now, knowing it was all fruit-based wines, I expected a lot of sugary fruit bombs. But I have to say that these wines, while mostly sweet, had a freshness, subtlety and character all their own. If you like traditional dry wines, open up your mind and palette to a new experience. The Passion Fruit and Tomato wines were truly unique and delicious experiences. And the service and staff was top notch! Knowledgable and friendly staff to walk you through your tasting. Would definitely recommend to wine lovers of all levels!

I called talked to the Manager. I had bought a lot of wine, moved and it was stored in a box in a dark cool closet. I forgot it was there, found it the other day and a friend was over so opened a bottle, it was terrible stuff floating in the bottle. I poured it down the drain. I sit here with 3 more of the same problem.
Well The response I got from the manager was we have a no return or exchange policy.
Well paying 15-20 dollars a bottle tells me they will never see me in their store again.
Very sad Customer Service.
Plus, there is no expiration date.

I feel like this is a little hidden gem. Alexie was so good at her job and knowledge. All the wines we tasted where good. My favorite was the watermelon and kiwi…DELICIOUS. The store was so cute and a lot of beautiful art. I would highly recommended this place. They had wine slushes and they where just as delicious as the wine. The staff was so friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean and it was just a peaceful setting. Best part.. if you are out of town you can order online!! Love it!

Yes totally recommend!!! Wines are good and not too sweet. Key lime was my favorite wine . I got a raspberry slush which was a tasty treat. The shop is very chill and pretty. Wine tastings are straight forward and theres plenty to choose from. Between the wine, the wine holders , mixers , and cups they have variety. The staff was very knowledgeable and were able to describe the different types of wine to us. We’ll be back!

This local winery is a hidden gem. Julie was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. She explained things well and even provided a dark chocolate dessert for me to enjoy with my orange wine (due to allergies I was unable to have the usual sweet treat). We ended up buying 6 bottles of wine and one syrup to make us wine slushy at home.

ZooWorld Zoological Park is a tropical-themed zoo that focuses on conservation. The zoo has 260 animals, including big cats, bears, and apes. It is one of the most interactive zoos in Florida, and it also offers programs and shows for visitors.
Absolutely great place. It's got an awesome mix of interactivity and openness. It seems to be in such a weird location but they make it work and was my favorite part of the week long vacation in Panama.
Kangaroo experience was absolutely awesome. Would have loved to do the fox experience but wasn't in season and available.
Could get up close to quite a few animals and they do a good job keeping it shaded on your walk.
Highly recommend.

This was my second trip to PCB and first time trying ZooWorld. This place is very well kept and incredibly cute. The animals are well kept in this little conservatory. The staff are very nice and happy to answer questions. They shared with us on how they work with the Tampa Zoo and helped raise young. They also explained all of their work with conservation and animal rehab. It is a very family friendly place. You can buy snacks to feed most of the animals. For extra you can have a close experience with one of the animals. We paid to have the experience with a little Joey that was rejected from her mother that ZooWorld was helping to raise. I highly recommend this place as a great break from the beach.

Visiting ZooWorld was the highlight of our trip to FL. We had some chilly/cloudy weather for most of our trip, and wanted to find things to do as a family outside of going to the beach. This was such a treat. The zoo is very clean, and well maintained. The staff of very friendly and helpful. The animals are in some of the best condition that I've ever seen. Very alert and active. Very healthy and notably cared for. I cannot recommend highly enough! Please take your family here. You won't be disappointed.

Overall fun experience. Kids loved feeding the giraffe and birds. Price was pretty much what we figured due to it being a tourist trap. We spend around 2 1/2 hours there. They close at 4, so keep that in mind when planning your day. For $11 you can get a small souvenir cup with food for the petting zoo animals, 2 leaves for the giraffe and 3 budgie sticks for the birds. Adult admission is $26 and 2-12 kids was $20. Of course my kids got caught in the gem mining option and they shared a $25 bag. It’s just your normal stuff but my son did end up with a huge chunk of amethyst that he got excited about. I would say it’s a place you could visit once and it wouldn’t be a place you HAVE to go to again unless you’re just really into it. A lot more closeness with the animals though which was nice.

We had an amazing and wonderful time at ZooWorld. We did the Lemur experience. Our zoo keeper, Whitney, was great. We had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We interacted with the animals, we fed them and bonded with them. Animals were happy and enclosures were super clean. They are doing such an amazing job caring for these beautiful animals. We had a blast and we highly recommend everyone to go visit ZooWorld. Next time we are in town we will definitely go back.
Thank you ZooWorld for the wonderful memories.

This was one of the most precious zoos I've ever been to! They have so many animal encounters that are both informative and enjoyable. You can tell their animals are all well taken care of and happy. We booked the kangaroo experience, and it was so adorable. Someone at the front accidentally overbooked our time-slot, so we didn’t get the complete one on one experience we hoped for. But my son got his and that’s all that matters! The petting zoo is literally the best. All the animals are so gentle and hilarious. I wish this was closer to me so we could go all the time!

This is a great zoo that has a more intimate feel than most zoos. It is bigger than it looks, and provides great experiences with different animals. The lemur experience was incredible and left me and my sons with forever memories. Worth a trip if your looking for something to do away from the beach for a couple of hours.

This place was wonderful. As you enter the facility you cannot begin to image the depth of what they've accomplished. It is definitely worth the extra money to buy feeding sticks for the birds, and bring extra cash for drinks. The team is entirely friendly and they make sure you are smiling and having fun.

This place was wonderful!! 3rd time in Florida and I refused to leave without holding an alligator. This faculty not only offered a fantastic gator experience but also offered a wide variety of other educational animal experiences. The animals are clearly well treated and the staff were incredible.
My family was lucky enough to experience this park on a slow day and as a result had some quality time with some other beautiful animals as well. The husband got to meet their sloths, I had the pleasure of meeting and holding a beautiful baby Capybara and we all (including my son) were able to hold one of their feisty alligator girls.
Great prices for the encounter all the way around. Would go back in a heartbeat!

There may be a wait when you get to the door but we really didn’t wait long at all. They get people in quickly. Adult admission was $26 per person. Experiences can be quite pricey- $45 per experience per person. You don’t have to pay for the additional experiences BUT you can still feed animals including over 80 alligators, a giraffe, goats, axis deer & there’s an area to feed & hold little birds!! We bought a feed bucket for the alligators & a cup with pellets for the petting zoo animals that came with a few bird seed sticks. So much fun!

Absolutely loved this zoo. The staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. We purchased the Lemur, Capybara, and Kangaroo Encounters, and Trey was our Encounter Guide. He did a fantastic job with the animals, provided information on each of the animals and made the experience incredible. I will cherish these memories for a long time. The zoo was clean, shady in areas, and the animal encampments were clean. Enjoyed the petting area where you may feed a 4 year old giraffe. The Budgie encounter was so much fun, they climbed and chewed on your shoes. Highly recommend for any age.

My husband and I come every time we visit PCB and absolutely love it! The lemur encounter is always our absolute favorite, and it definitely did not disappoint this year. The lemurs were so sweet and friendly. We also did the capybara encounter this year, and it was great. They give you food to feed him, and he was so calm and friendly. There are many animals to see, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the animals. I cannot recommend this enough!

This zoo is perfect for adults and kids! We had a group of 7 ages 3 to 36 and we all enjoyed ourselves. With such a large group we did not pay for the extra encounters. But we did buy food for the birds, alligators, rabbits, and giraffe. The petting had lots of goats with a few baby ones, a miniature horse, one donkey, and a few deer. The biggest hit was the birds. I could barely get my husband out of the cage! 🤣 We all had a blast! We also got to witness a baby porcupine being born!

Very sweet and cute zoo. They have a nice range of animals and a lot of them you can pet. I really liked having the opportunity to pet the sloths and hold a baby kangaroo. My favorite parts other than the experiences were feeding the crocodiles and the farm area. All of the animals were sweet (except that sassy llama which I loved). The giraffe was really cute too. I also liked the gem mining bags. Those are definitely worth the money and I’d suggest getting the $25 bag because it comes with all the fossils like shark teeth. When I pet the sloth, Whitney was absolutely amazing. She was very positive and and informative about sloths. The zookeeper that helped us with the Kangaroo was also awesome as well. The staff were all really nice and I could tell that they really care about the animals and love what they do. I also thought it was cool that they have little 3D printing machines that make you souvenirs. We made a lion and a giraffe souvenir. I highly suggest getting those it you go.

Friendly staff. Short wait time to enter. Affordable rates. Highly recommend season passes, they go on sale periodically & they’re so worth it. We are locals, we try to visit monthly!
The animals seem very well taken care of & happy. My son loves the lion, the giraffe, & the alligators! You can pay a few extra dollars for food to feed the animals. They also have experiences you can purchase!
The establishment is clean & there is staff around every corner, if you have questions or concerns! Plenty of shaded areas and benches to rest. Everything is handicap accessible. Tons of parking, including multiple overflow lots.
All of the animals are not out all of the time!!! Sometimes, the giraffe is inside. They have a lion cub that comes out periodically. Some animals may be relocated while their cages are cleaned & cared for.

My family visited here for the first time this summer and had to stop by the zoo! It was very intimate and we were closer to the animals than expected! We loved getting to feed the gators and the lion exhibit was awesome. The gift shop has really cool art and great gifts/souvenir items! Highly recommend for a fun day that’s not centered around the beach!

We highly recommend ZooWorld. We went the week after Memorial Day week. It was still hot and would recommend taking a handheld fan. Our (15 month at the time) loved it! We purchased a couple things of food for the animals and he enjoyed feeding them. The best part was the bird enclosure. He didn’t know what to think at first, but then loved them! He also enjoyed feeding the goats, deer, and Tony the giraffe. We will definitely visit every trip while visiting family. He also saw sloths, porcupines, lions, and many more. Well worth the visit!

We had a fun visit, some attractions were hard to participate due to there being several classes from local schools attending. It is a super cute and well kept zoo. Was definitely worth the visit.

The Zoo is nice, informative and kept well. I think some of the habitats need attention and seem too small for the inhabitants. I felt to most for the Sloth, and know the organization can do better than that. The parakeet exhibit is top notch.

I had a very fun time at this zoo. I saw animals not available at my local zoo, and even got to interact with some. The entrance of the zoo is at the gift shop, where you can purchase personal animal experiences with animals such as sloths, kangaroos, and lemurs. These experiences are pricey, and one thing to be cautious of is that some of the experiences don't allow touching the animal, so you're just paying to see them close up. I purchased the sloth experience and luckily got to pet and feed them. You can also purchase food pellets around the park to feed animals throughout the park. This is a more interactive zoo than the others I have experienced, and recommend it if visiting Panama CIty beach.

Hey there, just had to share my fantastic experience with ZooWorld Zoological Park in Panama City Beach, FL. So, for Christmas, we scored these yearly membership passes, and I've got to say, we're absolutely hooked! Escaping the daily chaos and spending quality time observing the incredible array of animals is such a refreshing break.
From majestic lions and tigers to the intriguing hyenas and towering giraffes like Tony, ZooWorld has it all. And can we talk about the petting zoo? Loads of adorable farm animals to interact with - it's a blast for everyone.
Now, here's the real deal-maker – the animal encounters. Picture this: getting up close and personal with certain animals, even feeding them! Yep, we've had some incredible moments feeding the gators and sharing a meal with Tony the Giraffe. It adds a whole new level of excitement to the visit.
Sure, some enclosures could be a tad roomier, but you can tell the folks at ZooWorld are genuinely doing their best and providing top-notch care for all the animals. It's spick and span every time we visit.
Now, personal faves? Definitely the big cats, the impressive gators, those mischievous hyenas, and of course, Tony the Giraffe steals the show. It's become a go-to spot for quality family time, and I can't get enough.
Living practically in the zoo's backyard is a bonus, but even if you're not neighbors, grabbing those annual passes is a game-changer. If you're an animal lover, ZooWorld is where it's at! I'm even considering volunteering down the line, something I've enjoyed at other zoos in the past. Trust me, it's a gem worth exploring.

This was an amazing experience to interact with the wolves. Our family had a private two hour tour. Rileigh & Barb were both knowledgeable about the animals and Seacrest. This is absolutely one of the coolest things my family and I have done in our lifetime! We included this visit in a trip to the Florida panhandle and the experience was positively incredible. Riley and Annette are wonderful hosts and educators. This is well worth your time and money. To say this is a worthy cause is an understatement. Wolves are misunderstood and this preserve is doing them a fantastic justice with their mission with education and outreach. Just wonderful!!!

Visiting Seacrest was an incredible experience! We did the VIP tour, which I highly recommend so you get more time with the wolves. The wolves are clearly well taken care of and extremely friendly and all interactions happen on their terms with their well-being (and your safety!) put first. Our tour guides, Lindsey and Mallory were absolutely fantastic! We learned so much and they were so much fun and took hundreds of beautiful photos for us! I only wish I lived closer so I could volunteer with them!

We drove from north Texas to Chipley, Florida just to have a moment with these beautiful animals! I fell in love with wolves and am dedicated to learn more about them and even though I like to think I have a lot of knowledge about wolves, I still learned something new during my visit! Barb and Annette were great guides and good company and Lindsey was also great helping us to schedule the visit! The wolves weren’t forced into any situation they didn’t want to be in. Some wolves wanted to jump on us while others just wanted to lay in the sun and put their head on my lap. All in all it felt like a very personable experience and I hope if I come to Florida again I can make a habit of visiting Seacrest Wolf Preserve and supporting their cause!

The VIP tour was such an amazing experience. I learned so much and got to pet and interact with wolves. When the pack howled, I got chills. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Mallory and Lindsey were especially great guides and elevated the already sky-high experience. The safety rules are clear and easy to follow. Highly highly recommend!

Seacrest was amazing. My girlfriend surprised me with a trip for my birthday. The staff was super knowledgeable about their wolves and wolves in general. They didn’t allow you to bring your cellphone because the wolves are sneaky but we gave our phone to the staff and they took roughly 19 million photos for us. My only complaint was secretly was super tight and I wasn’t able to steal baby Cha cha and bring her home with me. Thank you guys again for unforgettable experience!

This place was absolutely amazing!! The staff members, Lindsey and Barb, were very helpful, informative, and friendly. The wolves were just more than I could have imagined. It was so great to just be able to pet them and play with them! If you're thinking about doing this, go! You won't regret it!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Seacrest Wolf Preserve! The wolves were so beautiful and each had their own personality. We learned a lot of information before going into their areas and when we were visiting with them. It was educational as well as exciting. We did the private tour for my husbands birthday and it included pictures taken on our phone. They took over 239 pictures!!! All of them were incredible. We can’t wait to come back and experience this again!

Seacrest Wolf Preserve we love you!!! My daughter and I went hoping we could get an opportunity to hang out with and maybe pet a wolf.....we did that and more. We basically got to snuggle with wolves. The staff was awesome and extremely knowledgeable, extremely!! We spent 3 hours hanging out with wolves!! Surpassed my expectations. My daughter and I loved it! Loved it!! We will definitely come back, we have to you can't forget an experience like this. Thank you guys so much for such an exceptional day!!!!

I purchased the VIP tour for my wife and me. We had an amazing time at the preserve, the wolves are beautiful, the staff is very knowledgeable, and the property well-maintained. Would recommend the experience to anyone. Only issue was the organization. The cost for the two-hour tour was nearly $600 and you cannot bring in any watches to keep track of time. The staff should do a better job of that. We were only able to visit 3 out of 5 enclosures because we were promptly escorted out at the exact moment we hit the two hour mark. Our guide told us "you only have two minutes left and it would take longer than that to get into that enclosure." So we could only walk over and look at those wolves through the fence. If they get a little more organized, the tour would be perfect and more than worth the cost.

What an amazing experience seacrest wolf preserve for mom’s birthday. We learned so much from Lindsey and Jennie about the wolves and had the best time giving them lots of love. They were all so different and special in their own way. If you love animal or would just like to try a unique adventure, please go visit seacrest wolf preserve and help support them.

I cannot say enough about the experience I had at seacrest. Mallory one of our guides was immensely knowledgeable and answered every question that I had with sincere kindness. Braun our second guide was also extremely kind and took so many wonderful pictures for us. There is no denying the love and loyalty that the staff have for these beautiful, regal creatures. Each wolf has his/her own personality and it was an honor to be able to be up close and personal with each one of them. I left there feeling an awe and respect for the wolves and a deep gratitude to the amazing staff for making it possible for everyday people to have this experience. Thank you Seacrest for what you do! I will definitely be back and will never forget the experience that you gave me this weekend.

The staff here are so passionate about their work and the way the wolves interact with them says so much about them! Thank you for making this bucket list experience a core memory for us. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I have been wanting to go for years and finally made it up for the Saturday tour. The staff is all so friendly and knowledgeable! It is an incredible tour, being immersed in the wolves world and learning about these amazing animals! And obviously, the wolves are beautiful and so awesome to interact with! I could not recommend this preserve more! Go, meet and learn about these beautiful animals! ❤️

I had never been to Econfina before and I have only lived an hour and a half from it for over 30 years. We all had planned this trip as a group six months prior when we were canoeing down Black Water. I was SO excited and couldn't wait.
The check in went GREAT 😃. Extremely nice office staff. Also the gentleman who helped us pick out our canoe. I always canoe with my best friend, but he won't even let me have a paddle, so I have to have my beach chair so I can indulge in a little "Cleopatra Syndrome", as I call it, so he found a canoe for us that my chair fit in, along with a lot of extra leg room for me. He was awesome.
Econfina Creek is simply breathtaking! However, I had hoped to see more springs. The two that we saw, we saw as we were taken away by the current and it was too hard to paddle up the creek so we could stop. Might I suggest signs? Signs BEFORE you get to that point like signs on a highway and a BIG sign right before you are upon it. Not only will more people get to see them, but the signs will boost the anticipation of the springs and more people will return no matter how long the drive is.
The length of the trip is about 10.2 miles, which was AMAZING, and there are barely any beaches to stop at, which means that it is almost all paddling and the scenary is freaking BEAUTIFUL!! I wouldn't say that the trip is too long by any means because due to the beauty of the creek, I didn't want it to end when it did.
We all, (over 20 of us), simply LOVED our outing at Econfina Creek and we will definitely be back, and soon. Definitely going to tell everyone I know about it.
Thanks for everything!!

This place was amazing. The staff was super chill and laid out where all the springs were, what to expect, how to get picked up and the time it takes from launch to the end. All the reviews who say otherwise probably didn’t pay attention or don’t have common sense. There’s literally a white board with everything you need to know directly behind the counter, if you didn’t get told by mouth from their employees, READ. it’s that simple. This place was beautiful and we stopped at all 5 springs. Super fair price and already have friends planning to come here after seeing my Snapchat stories. Will always recommend you guys. MAKE SURE YOU BRING GOGGLES. LOTS OF ROPE SWINGS along the way.

So much fun! The creek is wide, the water is cold and deep. There are a bunch of places to stop and get out if needed. Canoe rentals were affordable and the staff was super friendly. We will be going again!

The river trail and pools were amazing. Our experience with staff wasn't the best. Parking is awful. The directions given for pick up were incorrect. They don't tell you to bring shoes which is a must to reach the springs. The springs have no signage from the river so you would miss them easily.

I recently tried the Econfina Creek Canoe Rental instead of the usual public launches. It is a very convenient launch, and does not feature the steep banks or stairs that the public launches have. It is a quality launch, the rental operation, not so much.
We brought our own kayaks, PFDs, whistles etc. and strictly wanted to park and use the launch. I figured there would be a minimal charge ($5 or something), but they charged us $30 to launch. We paid this, and we told them we would be back late, did not need a ride and they assured us this would be no issue. This is an insane launch price; to put it in perspective, King's Landing, one of the jewels of Florida kayaking, rents single kayaks for $49/4 hours. Not sure how they are charging almost the same fee to launch as an Orlando destination rental spot...
The second star is strictly for the launch, the rental operation gets 1 star.
We returned to the launch around 6 or 6:30, to find the launch chained off, with the owner showing up yelling at us, demanding a late fee. We informed him that we paid to launch OUR vessels, used none of their property, did not need a ride and communicated this all to the rental guy earlier in the day. The owner called the guy who assisted us earlier, only to be told he didn't remember us-despite having a pleasant 40 minute conversation and exchanging info and names. I might be forgettable as a person, but my kayak is not. I don't think there were many green, motorized kayaks with wheels that day, and I did not appreciate the rental guy lying to the owner to save face for HIS miscommunication.
I think if you are just renting a canoe or a kayak, this place would be fine. However I was very disappointed to pay $30 to launch (considering many comparable counties have $25 ANNUAL launch/ramp passes) and then be yelled at and asked for more money upon returning. We were very supportive and appreciative of this place, and eager to support an up-and-coming kayak business, and the launch was indeed pleasant. I think there is some miscommunication between management and the landowner, but I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking to launch their own kayak.
I won't be back.

Great trip. Staff was available when we checked in. Very short portage to get boat in water. The water was clear and clean. The canoes were in great shape. The river had lots of stops at springs and plenty of places for photo opportunities. Wide and calm so great for family's or larger groups. Reasonable prices for renting. I would stage a vehicle at the end to avoid waiting for shuttle or arrange for your own ride to speed up the process the staff at the end to receive the canoes made it easy. Would definitely go again.

Just an absolute awesome place to visit with friends and family! We have been twice in one year and love it. Although the past hurricanes have damaged a lot of the tree that overshadow the river, just dive in to one of the natural springs to be refreshed! Staff is very friendly and the ride back is short and sweet. A definite visit if you are in the surrounding Panama area.

An awesome and beautiful place. A must for any outdoor enthusiast. You need to dedicate a full day to be able to really enjoy it. Definitely worth checking out when you're at the beach. Only about 40 minutes north of Panama City Beach Fl.
Uhhmm, what can I say other than WOW! This is a must do for anyone. You'll be impressed with the admiration and care shown to these big cats by Jim and Bertie. They can tell you anything and everything you could ever want to know about the cats under their care. Go ahead, ask them anything...whatever they don't know, Jim will go ahead and make something up for you (kidding, but he will.) It was a great time and you'll definitely gain a new respect for these cats. When you're face to face with a Mountain Lion offering him up a chicken leg, you'll quickly understand just how big and powerful these cats are. This certainly isn't a walk through the zoo to look at animals in cages! This is a bonified educational experience that teaches you everything you could ever want to know while offering a hands on experience that you will not find anywhere else. You will not be disappointed! Smaller groups or pairs work best (2-3 people)

Visiting the center was the highlight of our vacation. The group size was limited making it comfortable to move as a group to observe the varity of felines as well as hear the educational presentation. The felines are well cared for with clean, good size enclosures. I encourage anyone thinking of visiting Bear Creek Feline Center to do so, it is well worth the cost of enterance. You must prebook, no drop ins.

Bear Creek is the perfect place to visit if you want an experience of a lifetime all the while helping big cats and the wonderful people who care so deeply for them! Jim and Bertie do a great job off welcoming guests, and answering all your questions. To give you an idea of their hospitality, my father and I were greeted with hot coco along with the other guests, we were offered multiple refreshments cookies, and even post tour we had a BLAST talking with them and sharing stories!
These are the people who truly care for the animals, they're dedicated to offering the best care possible, while educating the public about the big cat and wild cat conservation. If you're ever in the area do yourself a favor and visit! Thank you Bertie and Jim for being such amazing people and hearing my reptile ramblings when I visited :)

We volunteered to be interns recently and learned about the new Sanctuary Status designation from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) awarded a year ago allowing Bear Creek Feline Center to be a forever home for Class 1, 2 and 3 animals. They currently house more than a dozen animals. They operate in accordance to all state and federal regulations. Their mission is to educate people about the importance of wildlife conservation and preservation.

Scenic state park & hiking area featuring a waterfall, sinkholes, campsites & a small lake.
Quiet and pretty campground with clean restrooms and showers. Spots are a bit snug but our 35 foot 5ver fit fine.
Trails to the water are nice and the picnic area at the pond is well kept and pretty.
The road to get in is a bit steep up and down but not as bad as it looks once you drive it.

Very lovely place to camp. There are hiking trails, a swimming lake, sand volleyball court, horseshoes and waterfalls to experience. There is a swing set at the campground and a bigger playground at the beginning of the hiking trail area. Bathrooms are nice and clean with several showers and a family shower area. There is electricity and water, a fire ring, and a picnic table but no cooking grill at any of the sites. Very shaded and cozy.

We stayed at Falling Waters State Park Campground for one night on our way west out of FL. Upon arrival we wished we had planned on a longer stay. Shortly after arrival they had a bad storm move over the panhandle, so we only had a few hours to explore. There is plenty more to do in this beautiful park.
The campground is secured and very well maintained. The gravel sites are level. All sites have power and water hook ups. The bathrooms/showers look very new. The garbage dumpster and dump site is close but not to close.
The camp host actually came around to warn each camper that there was a tornado watch issued for our county and that we should run to the bath house if we needed to.
We will stay again if in the area. Oh yeah, the price was very affordable.

Falling Waters is a stopover more than a destination. If you need an overnight close to I-10 in the Panhandle, this is a good choice. Campground is nestled in a pine forest with clean bathhouse, dishwashing station, fire ring, picnic table, 48 over-the-air TV stations. One bar Verizon. Site 17 is large and fairly level, but no footpath to bathhouse or trash. Stretch legs from long drive with boardwalk to waterfall overlook. Butterfly garden is newly planted with no flutters in sight. Peaceful retreat for panhandle rest.

We drove nearly 2 hours to check out this waterfall after feeling cooped up inside after our college closed during Covid 2020. I was honestly underwhelmed and a bit disappointed at the waterfall itself. It was advertised as the Florida’s largest / longest waterfall but when we saw it, it was just a meager stream falling 70 feet. Regardless, we had a great friend-reunion and it was a fun walk for the dogs and exercise for us. The area is mostly flat.

Ventured here before the Florida Caverns state park, and it was worth the stop. It's a smaller park, but the area is pretty, and the waterfall was flowing after overnight rains. The area is ADA accessible so it's a nice paved trail down to the waterfall. That area is actually in the central time zone, so we got an extra hour to check it out. It's a nice park to check out if you're in that area.

Disappointed in the party package. We have had birthday parties at Adventure Land in the past, but this time it was different and not as good. In the name of COVID safety, an indoor party room is no longer offered. The cake and presents portion of the party is held outside in 98 degree heat at picnic tables. Our cake was melting as I was cutting it.
The batting cages now require you to bring your own bat, but this is not listed on the website in the party instructions. The “play cards” list both go-carts and bumper boats as “rides” in the computer system; so with a group of 12 year old kids, many of them rode the go-carts twice and then couldn’t do bumper boats. The kids didn’t realize that they were forfeiting their bumper boat ride when they chose a second round on the go-carts.
Our family will not have another birthday party at Adventure Land.
One positive note: the young lady who helped us was very nice, friendly and helpful. However, management needs to make the birthday party package more organized and user-friendly to the families.

Was here yesterday, golf was fun and what not but I went to go to the go karts and ended up going back inside and asking for a refund. The older man outside running the go karts was only letting 5 or 6 people on at a time and saying he didn’t have any help, there was one other young man out there with him in a white shirt. Overall my experience was fine except for go karts. Everyone else was amazing. I’ve been coming for years but yesterday just wasn’t the same I highly reccomend coming here but maybe when this older man isn’t here.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy on a night with you're with your family, go anywhere but here. The bathrooms were absolutely revolting like they hadn't been cleaned once all day. My family and I came in at 730 on a Sunday night to spend some quality time together. The staff told us that they were closing and we could not even play a round of golf or play arcade games. As they were telling us this they were covering up concessions, wiping down counters, and sweeping the floors. I understand the inconvenience if someone shows up right before closing but that is a downside of working in a customer oriented job. Also it's not like we came in 15 minutes before they closed looking to do bumper boats, go karts, golf, batting cages, and and the arcade. We showed up an hour and a half before closing just to play a single round of mini golf or at least enjoy 20 minutes in the arcade. When they told us everything was closed my young son with stage 4 brain cancer was so disappointed as was my daughter and I felt like I let them down as a father. Thank you adventureland for the laziness in your employees and the disappointment you instilled into my family.

Went to take my daughter to do something fun. Got there it was a bit busy which is fine. But we were next for go carts, that’s all my little one wanted to do. We were front in line then they come say they are shutting down because the track is “wet” even though a whole group of people already went, made me sad the woman said she could give us some tokens in exchange as they didn’t know when they would open. I’m sorry but how about give some tokens and also allow them to still go on the carts when they open? I understand the liability but it was not raining and was sad they didn’t even try to make it right. Definitely will be going to talahassee to go to a little place like this. Sad we wasted $35 and an hour drive. Left with a crying toddler. 👍🏻

Me and my son go all the time at least twice a month and I just went this last week with my daughter and my son and we had a blast that's why we come so often Jesse was great he helps us with everything and all the rules about the games and how they work and then helps us cash out our tickets he's very helpful and teaches us how to load on our own credit so we don't have to wait everybody that works there is so helpful and so nice and very positive and upbeat we love going and spending a lot of hard time they're actually the kids get rewarded every time they make enough tickets and my son loves it it's great family time and it's the perfect place to go especially with your kids there's something for everybody to do and the prices are definitely worth it. It's a great deal for everything you can spend the whole day there and then lose track of time for about $30 or $40 you can do so much and then the kids can always turn in their tickets for rewards so that's a cool part too cuz you actually get rewarded for all the tickets that you get for playing all the games that you played for spending all the money you spent so it's a win win situation. Because even after all the fun is over my son still gets to go get his prizes and my daughter does too and she was so excited about that and we had a blast!!!!! Couldn't take many pictures this last time because we had so much fun we couldn't remember to but I will definitely take some pictures the next time and post them

Attraction features a large wave pool, slides, a kiddie pool & picnic facilities in Westgate Park.
We have gone to this water park twice and had a great time both days. Coming in the morning (10) to around 1 it is a lot less crowded. The child area has a multitude of activities for children of all ages. The water slides are thrilling. The lifeguards are amazing, very well trained and constantly vigilant. The food prices aren’t terrible, but we did bring a cooler. You are allowed to being outside food and drinks, as well as chairs. Gotta love a city owned water park. Free parking, allowed to bring in food and drinks, entry fee is reasonable, and a great place for the family. The concession stand has easy to make food and it arrives fast basic theme park options on the menu. We always rent a cabana since added to the park. Definitely worth the price and bit of privacy pool side. Great place to relax in town on the weekends during the summer. If visiting definitely a place to visit while here get out together and have some fun in the sun and water. Wonderful water rides have been added to enhance the fun or scare the heck out of your hubby who thinks rides are still for him god bless him for trying to hang with our kids who most definitely on the rides every time we go. We always enjoy ourselves and continue to go and support this wonderful city owned attraction. More cities should take a page out of this book it's better to let the city own then outsiders any day hence the no parking fee, allowed to bring food, and reasonable prices. Season passes are good if you go more than 6 or 7 times. The slides are for kids taller than 48” which I think if an adult rides with child the height should be lower some. My 7 year old can’t slide on anything but one and it’s so disappointing. The park is pretty clean most of the time. It’s usually pretty packed with little to no shade or sitting. Ice creams are well priced and life guards are on point. It’s $5 to rent locker, $5 to rent float, children can only wear life jackets or one other type of wrap around arm & waist float (no arm floats). Donut floats for rent sell out quick in the afternoon so get there earlier. Bring your on everything except coolers, floats, or radios. But a water may be allowed.

Our family and church had so much fun! They were so accommodating! They made sure we were able to get in quickly and there were about 40+ in our group! We were able to easily pre-register 3 cabanas and they allow grills and things to be brought in and used in the picnic area! This is our second time bringing the church here and we will be back! Everyone loves it from the babies all the way up to the seasoned saints! The cabanas are large and have table, chairs, and lounge chairs and a fan and nice shade! There are slides, a wave pool, a baby area and more! You can rent tubes or go without. There are lockers and the locker rooms are nice size with showers, bathrooms, and changing rooms and vanities. There are concession stands as well!

Took my daughter she loved it. Wave pool was fun, slides were for all stages... from the first timer to the pro. Needs a lazy river. Food was normal pizza, burgers etc.. water was cheap. You can bring your own stuff in!

Went on a Friday and arrived at 10:30a. We entered immediately and settled into our cabana adjacent to the wave pool that we reserved online the week prior. Cabana had a fan, table, three chairs and two lounge chairs. We rented tubes and spent the day between the wave pool and the slides. Not much of a wait for any of the slides so you could go multiple times in a short period of time. We purchased food and it hit the spot. Nothing spectacular on the menu, but it came out quickly. Had a great experience overall.

Kids had a great time. Wave pool and bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. There were ants (alive) and debris in the water and filtration system. The rest of the park was clean and lots of fun.

Great Brewery. The vibe here is just so nice. Rarely experienced in other breweries. Been there on a wednesday afternoon, not much going on, so I can’t speak about weekend experience. But the atmosphere and the guy (from Colorado, dunno his name) behind the counter made it a very nice afternoon. AND they have brew dog 🐕, his name is Buddy. They got RV parking, a beermergency and a chopper (drop beer not bombs). Ill be back next time when I am in the area. Cheers 🍺

Great beer, prices are very fair! Darn I forgot to take pictures of the food, it was good. Best of all it's a harvest host. We stayed the night in our 5th wheel $15 for electric. Quiet, very gracious host. Definitely recommend stopping by for some food and refreshments! There is even a great outdoor space for adults and the kids. Dogs are welcome. A terrific experience all around!!!!

Wow! Really great vibe and friendly folks! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with incredible food! Buffalo Shrimp Poboy was fantastic! Splurge for the French fries! We came to try the mead and both the traditional and honeymoon were excellent!

The brewery itself offers VERY good craft beer from dark ales to blonde ales to sours Their gift shop has reasonably priced T-shirts, caps, koozies and other trinkets. The restaurant set-up is a bit odd, it’s one restaurant part of the week and another restaurant the rest of the week (see pictures).
The food is standard pre-prepped deep fried bar food, but its pretty good. They do have live music, and a great play area for kids that is all fenced in. The music is not too loud and it really does PROMPTLY stop at 10:00 PM.

Our stay at Folklore through the Harvest Host program was awesome! The staff was super friendly, especially Uncle Kenny, who rocked at helping us park our RVs. They've got a cool variety of beers, and now they even have liquor. Gotta try the chocolate coffee porter with blueberry syrup – it's a game-changer! Oh, and the on-site restaurant serves up some seriously tasty Cajun food. The shrimp po boy and fries were delicious! 🚐🍻

We FINALLY got to come drink and eat at Folklore Brewing and Meadery and SOO glad we did! This is quite the experience and folks living near by are fortunate to have this nearby. We enjoyed our beers, tried some of the mead beverages and especially enjoyed our dinners. The menu pix are included - I’ve been trying to find out what’s likely on the menu for awhile. Yes, you can actually eat a real dinner. We enjoyed Boudin Balls (if you are a spicy wimp, be careful with the tasty, but way zingy remoulade!), the gumbo was delish (light on chicken and sausage), the grouper basket was
very tasty! We will be back on our next swing thru
the area.

Strange location. Don’t go there hungry. The food is warmed in a microwave. Our dip was kinda warm but the pretzel was frozen in the big parts. Not impressed at all. Decent beer selection. If you don’t drink craft beer you’re screwed.

We stayed overnight in our RV in July of 2023, as part of the Harvest Hosts program.
The Brewery is fun. Nice atmosphere. A number of places to sit inside, as well as outside. We got a couple of drinks and some chips and spinach and artichoke dip. The drinks and food were both good. They sell some merch and drinks that you can take home, including mead.
As for staying through Harvest Host, it went smoothly. We went inside and spoke with the bartender. He came out and showed us where to park. We did have electric, but don’t remember how many amps. The parking was in the grass. It was pretty flat. It was also quiet overnight.
Great stay and we would definitely recommend this place.

My family and I visited here last weekend on May 23rd 2022. We had never been here, as well as never even knew Florida Caverns State Park existed but had the best time doing the cave tour with our Tour Guide Tim. Also the Owls and the museum were really neat to see. I definitely recommend this place as it was a family fun place. We'll definitely be coming back to do the Cave Night Tour as well as some of the nature trails and get to experience what we couldn't on our short day trip!! 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend. Kid friendly.

Breathtaking scenery! Took the family out to explore Florida Caverns and drove few hours to come here. It was well worth it! It really is an amazing experience. Everyone in our family (2 adults 3 children) was super impressed with this visit. We purchased our tickets online. For five people we paid $36-$37 and there’s $5 state park access fee per vehicle. Our tour guide Mia was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun. She walked us through the entire cave and took the time to explain how it was discovered, what it represents and shared many more insightful information. Humidity level is very high inside the cave thus, I recommend wearing something active and comfortable. Also there are many low clearance paths along with stairs and puddles filled with water so it’s also recommended to wear appropriate shoes that are comfortable and yet provide good protection and grip. There are some low clearance points inside the cave where if you’re a tall person you need to really duck down to avoid hitting your head. If you have knee or back problems you may find this activity to be a bit challenging though. You can bring your own cameras and take as many pictures as you want even with camera flash. Overall it’s a great experience. I highly recommend visiting this hidden natural treasure to everyone.

Our family really enjoyed the tour with our guide Tim! Kids from 5-7 enjoyed it. It was hot outside but cool in the cavern! A 1 hour tour. The gift shop was reasonably priced. Will go again. There was a beautiful swimming hole towards the back of the park. Wonderful experience.

I had a very fun time here; not only are there the cavern tours, but there is also a campground, small museum, and walking trail in the park too. I had fun on the cavern tours and they were definitely worth it. I saw a deer on the walking trails, and it was really cool; however, I also saw a Northwest Florida rattlesnake on the walking trail and almost stepped on it. The walking trail is also very rocky and somewhat difficult. Not ideal for children or disabled folks. That combined with the rattlesnake leaves it with a 4 star review instead of 5.

Very pretty and the tour guide was very educational and friendly and funny. Only down side for the day tour is that it's rather short/small cave. Other then that it's fun. The tour isn't free of course so expect to pay.

A very nice visit to the Caverns. It might be challenging for tall people as there are several places the height is four feet, and a few places the width is two feet. The staff were all kind and helpful.
There are a few places that feel a little tight, but it still feels pretty open. Being wet and dark, it's can be slippery, but your guide will remind you where those spots are.

Visiting Florida Caverns State Park was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into the caverns, we were amazed by the stunning geological formations and the rich history they hold. The guided tour was informative and engaging, providing insights into the formation of these natural wonders. The park’s above-ground attractions, like hiking trails and picnic areas, were equally impressive, offering beautiful scenery and opportunities for outdoor recreation. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the park. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply looking for a memorable adventure, Florida Caverns State Park is a must-visit destination. Can’t wait to return and explore even more!

We added this stop on our road trip and so glad we did. It was a reasonably priced great stop for our family. We went on an hour tour with Lou through the caves , it was beautiful and the tour was unique and informative! The pictures don’t really do it justice, and the gift shop was well stocked and offered ice cream and snacks . We were towing a trailer and had room for us to be able to park. This isn’t far off the interstate so be sure to add it to your Florida trip!

Very fun!! I took my boyfriend here because he has never been in a cave and we had a nice time! It was cool inside the cave so it’s a fun way to explore nature while staying out of the sun. Our tour guide was extremely lively and made lots of jokes. At one point they turn off the lights for a few seconds. They also let the kids play with the buttons which seems fun for small children. Overall a good time!

The Caverns were awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He was very engaging throughout the entire tour and really made our experience much better. There were a few tight spaces, but the cavern is really easy to go through. I'm 6'2, and on the large side, and I was able to get through it easily.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The young lady in the gift store is a blessing to everyone she meets.
We stayed at the campground, which is very well kept. Sites are spacious with a hard gravel surface, full hookup, fire pit, large picnic table, and a place to hang your hammock. The bathhouse is kept clean with a laundry right there.

Amazing place. Worth the drive if your on east coast of Florida or middle. At end of parking lot first go to a trail near a dirt road. Walk down about 300 yards and there is a very cool tight cave to go through. Noone seems to know about it unless you hike a small loop trail. Enjoyed the learning about the place.

Tucked away off the beaten path, just Northwest of the state capital Tallahassee. This state park, like most all Florida State Parks is very well groomed and maintained. It was mandatory to purchase the " guided " tour in order to access the caverns. Which we thought was a bit pricey. 53$ for four. Inside the caverns is a magical place that takes you back in time. The stalagtites and stalagmites were amazing to see knowing they have been formed over the course of earths history. The Florida Caverns are a great example of the complexity and beauty of our planet.

What an awesome park, the history behind it, and the Cave tour wow! We were here for 4 days camping and loved it. The facilities at our campsite were great. Bonus points for the washer and dryer!
The cave tour was way more fun than I expected. We did the 2 hour night tour with our 3 kids aged 6,8, and 4 they loved it. Honey bee / Joni was incredible she was so knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun. I just loved her spirit, passion. She truly loves what she does, and made this experience for our family unforgettable. The caves themselves were very big, and impressive with their beautiful formations and the history behind how it was all made to be accessible to the public well that was a story of its own. Would recommend as a great family spot to check out. We will definitely return and be recommending to our family and friends.

Nice park for hiking and a visit to the carverns is a must if you are here. They do charge $15 per person for 45 minute guided tour. I do not think you can go into the cave unless you are on the tour. The caverns are great. Plenty of lighting. Some uneven floor and some steps. Also there are several very low ceilings, so if you are taller then that is a little more of an issue. Just need to duck or crouch down. No place do you need to crawl. The cavern formations are spectacular and still actively growing. Outside the caverns, there are some nice hiking trails. The trails are not very difficult, so great for kids. Dogs can use the hiking trails on leash. No dogs inside the caverns.

This was just such wonderful, wonderful experience. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the whole OK because it was flooded so we only had half a tour but what we saw was so interesting and beautiful. we went on a hike around there and it was kind of rough walking it. I wish i was able to explore on my own, but I understand that the limited self-control of the populus prohibits me from experiencing such wonders freely and without supervision.
It's a neat cave. It's not super big, and it costs about $16 for a tour. I probably won't go back . They do have other trails that i did not check out that don't cost money, but you have to pay an entry fee to enter the park.

We rented a two person Wow tube for a float down the creek and river. I wish it was possible to make online reservations but with a bit of planning, a great trip was had. We drove from Pensacola and arrived at Bear Paw at 9am. After completing waivers, we paid and waited just a few minutes for the shuttle. The shuttle ride was a short 10 minute ride to another Bear Paw location. We were given our raft and paddle and began floating in Spring Creek. The water was clear and the atmosphere was so serene and enjoyable. After a few miles, the creek and our float transitioned to Chipola River. The river is wide, which continued our serene float. There was an abundance of turtles on the banks nearby and a new with an occasional fish floating by. Along our float, there wasn't sandbars to stop at but it truly is a pleasant float. The river water is cooler and less clear than the creek but understandably so as the river water is much deeper. Towards the end of the float, we floated under the I10 bridges. Since the river is wide, there was plenty of room for our raft and the occasional boater to pass. From the point of I10, we paddled towards the right side of the river as instructed. About ten minutes later, we approached the Bear Paw landing. Someone helped us off the float and that was the end of our trip. It was so enjoyable. I really cannot wait to go again!!

Had a great time. They were very busy, so it took a little bit longer. But it was well worth it. We parked at the beginning point of the trip. Water was clear and sparkling. Nature at her best. There were spots that were beachy along the way. We got back and were shuttled to our truck. Oh! A little hint, when you get to the end. Go to that office and tell them you need a shuttle. Enjoy 😉

The creek, river, & scenery were beautiful. We brought our own floats & they blew them up for us, which was very helpful.
We went on a Saturday & it was busy, which isn’t a problem except for the people were drunk, blaring foul music, smoking, and foul language was everywhere. Once you started floating, you really couldn’t get away from it. Not family friendly or peaceful.

If you are looking for a nice little day float, depending on the water levels this is a neat place to go. If the water is low, this little river has far too many sticks and branches in it. The staff isn't professional or kind, but if you look beyond that you can have a good time. When you arrive, you park, pay, get a pass, then they shuttle to where you put in, and then you float back to your vehicle. You may also park at the start and they will shuttle you back, but I would recommend parking at the end. You may bring your own float or rent one of theirs. If you bring your own, make sure it's a true river raft or the sticks will deflate you fast 😉

Easy to find, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The place is a little rugged but then again you are about to voluntarily float down a river lol. Fast efficient service, plenty of parking and about an 8 min shuttle ride to the top of the river so you can float back to your car. Rent their floats or bring your own, they will fill them with air for you (don’t bring inflated tubes, they can’t take them on the shuttle). Enjoy!
Haven’t rented their tubes before so can’t speak for the quality of their equipment. I always bring my own.

Fun place to go tubing. Takes about 4 hours to float down with plenty of opportunities to stop and swim and really neat areas. Most of the journey will be spent in crystal clear 4 ft water. You park at the end pay the money and they take you up to the starting point blow your tubes up if needed and then you're on your way.

What an amazing place to cool off. The longer you can hold your breath the better experience. The spring is a large cavern under the diving board of the swimming hole. There’s also boating in clear bottom boats that allow those not interested in swimming in the cold water to view the fish and other things to see in the bottom of the clear water swamp.

I've gone to Blue springs for over 25 years. So it has changed a lot since I was kid and now I'm taking my kids there. The changes are nice but I definitely miss them having life guards. If they do I didn't see any on duty. Also wish the beach area was wider. Other than that , it a great place to swim with family. The cost is $4 per person. Have fun!

Nice place to get wet in the clear water. There is a covered area to swim with kids. Diving area is good too. There is entry fee including parking for 5 year and older. You can rent kayaks for very less amount onsite to explore the spring. We tool a kayak and went 3 on that for a spin. It also includes the life vest for safety. Though the water is full of algae, we could still see the bottom and fish swimming. I would definitely recommend visiting this place. It is similar to Wakulla but here you can have the kayaks. There are motor boats as well but I am not sure if it was for rent or people have their own boats taken there. Restrooms are clean and there is showers as well outside. You can grab some food and drinks as well there. Staffs are very friendly and helping. Definitely visit more.

It was seasonally closed to the public but i was able to reach it by kayak. I found the whole pond (merritt's hill pond from public launch to blue springs ) to be grass-choked by seemingly excess fertilizers causing an noticeable overgrowth of algae choking its natural tall grasses and floating algae debri from all that overgrowth. The Blue springs is part of this ecosystem and not exempt from this same malaise.
I rated 1 star bc as a park, its administration needs to be part of solving this issue. I presume the agricultural activity around these lands is the main contributor to it. Also notoced very perfectly green lawns surrounding the pond..usually helped by fertilizers too.

Very brutally cold water in the cave. But such a beautiful place!
They have amenities for changing and restrooms. They have rentals for kayaks and they sell food too. Staffed with lifeguards, though they could stand to pay a bit more attention to the swimmers! Overall I am very excited to have visited and the 4$ per person entry fee is cheap. The water is amazingly clear and despite there being lots of people I still loved it.
Camping, hiking, picnicking & bird-watching plus rare trees & plantation home tours high on a bluff.
Wow, highly recommend for camping. The campground sits on the highest ground, and views abound. Suggest camp sites on the west or north end as the speedy drivers like to kick up lots of dust. The hiking trails are very nice. Be sure to visit the Gregory House gift shop for very nicely priced T shirts and other items.

My family and I spent two nights here at the campground. The park is a great place to visit if you enjoy hiking and history. We hiked some of the trails including the Weeping Ridge to the waterfall- small by any standard but still really cool to see in Florida. Be careful, there are copperhead snakes; I nearly stepped on one. The trail to the Confederate earthworks was neat to see.
If you are not into hiking or history, I would probably give this park a miss. Most of the trees were destroyed in the hurricane a few years ago, so it is lower brush still with some trees.
There are tours given at the plantation house at 10AM on weekdays and other times on the weekend (sorry, I didn't catch those times). We really enjoyed it and it was a bargain at $3 a person.

We stayed in the Cracker Cabin at Torreya — super cute one bedroom on one side with a queen bed (yes a bit to soft but not bad) with a window unit and portable heater (heater worked great on coldest day in Florida ) the middle is a screen patio which on the right side of it is another Pom but has two bunk beds with a unit a/c unit and portable heater - not sure about the beds as we did not sleep in it. Back porch view of woods and nice sunrise - has a fire pit - only bad thing is there is another camping spot super close however no one was there so not sure if they book it.
Lots of hikes and state parks in area - no gas station or food venues near

It's a peaceful and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

What a great hike experience. No flat Florida here. Lol! The Apalachicola River was beautiful. There is remaining damage from Hurricane Michael but that is an education and does not take away from the adventure. The stone bridge was cool. Missed out on seeing the waterfall because we ran out of daylight, shorter winter days. Great park. We'll definitely go again

Torreya State Park is tucked away by itself and has a smaller campground at only 29 sites, and it's part of what makes it a great place to get away.
Small and remote means peace and quiet. The sites aren't very private, but there aren't many and folks seem to keep to themselves.
The bathrooms are small but decent and well-maintained, and there are 30-amp electric and water on each site. Another nice feature is a very clean laundry area. It only has one washer and dryer, but the campground is small enough that doesn't seem to be a problem.
Nearby trails, some accessible right from the campground, also make this a good spot to use as a basecamp if you want to get out and explore some of Florida's natural beauty. Also, Gregory House is an 1850s plantation home that you can visit for a guided tour and is within walking distance of the campground.

We absolutely love this State Park. We live in western New York but enjoy travelling, camping and hiking throughout the U.S. We visited this park about 15 years ago and this year we decided to come back. There have been dramatic and devastating changes in the park since we were last there because the park is located within a path frequented by intense storms in the last decade, including Hurricane Michael in 2018, which damaged all of the forests in the park. Despite these challenges, park staff have made amazing efforts to make sure that park visitors can safely visit as much of the park as possible. The campground is great, with spotless bathrooms and water and electric outlets in most sites. We stayed in one the two yurts, which offer a delightful deck with a picnic table, a campfire ring and a gorgeous view into the adjacent forested ravine. We went on the 6-mile challenge hike and were impressed with the work the park has done to make the trails passable despite the many trees that fell during the hurricane. We thought the trail was great as it meandered back and forth through so many beautiful and interesting plant communities giving the hiker a real sense of adventure. Some of the bridge crossings over small streams still need to be repaired and may look intimidating but this 64-year old woman with advanced arthritis in both knees had no trouble getting across any of them. If you don't like an adventure, however, this might not be the best trail for you as stated in the park's description of the trail. We found all of the park staff to be friendly, helpful and hardworking. Please thank them for all they do if you have the chance.

We stayed here 2 days in April 2022. We liked the campground. It is small and quiet. Several of the sites are quite narrow. The one we were in we barely were able to get our slide and awning out. They were separated from the adjoining site by established bushes and trees. This made it difficult to back the camper in. (Our camper is long 37 ft.) When reserving look carefully at the pictures to see if you will fit. There is no sewage onsite but a decent dump station about 1/2 miles down from the campground. It had a cool CCC built registration building. There are old but clean bathrooms and shower facilities. There were lots of hiking trails but we didn't get to explore any. We would come back.

I love this place! Best hiking in Florida. Limestone rock outcroppings for fishing. It's remote and peaceful and lovely. I have heard owls and coyotes in the distance at night. We have seen wild boar and deer. On a dark, clear night, you can see the milky way. Be warned the amenities are pretty basic, which is lovely for me, but not for everyone.

Website says one of the trails is 6.7 miles. Turned out to be 7.83 miles. Also said it was a moderate hike. It was a hard hike and a challenge for me. Beautiful but challenging.

Small small rustic campground with the basics but nice and clean inquiry Google did not show where the gate was at was about 2 miles off. no real check in go to your spot, go by the office on a table should be your pass for your parking, otherwise see the campground host.

Beautiful historical place. Conferate battles and supply area. Extremely rare tree only found in China, California and this only location. We visited the Caverns and Waterfalls on the same day.

Unique state park with interesting trails and great views. It's probably best to visit before the warm weather.
Unusual terrain for FL.

The trails behind the Gregory House are the best. Go down one trail and walk beside the river and back up the other trail to return to the Gregory House.

It was a nice experience. I personally love the outdoors. My fiancée is a true Miami guy and he even enjoyed it himself. It was a nice walking trail and the cabin was nice and cozy. For those of you who don’t know, bring your own fitted sheets, pillow & blankets. There is a fire pit which you are able to use freely, they ve firewood available on site along with ice for less than $5 (bring cash as it’s cash only). The registration office is always open and there are games and movies located inside along with a small gallery of informational stuff. At night if you sit outside you can see a million starts and you could even hear all the animals. There was also a little playground available on site.
Things recommended to bring for first timers
1. Towel for when you shower
2. Shower sandals
3. Body Wash / Soap
4. Pillows
5. Fitted Sheets (I used a queen size)
6. Blanket to cover yourself
7. Fire Log
8. Stuff for s’mores !
(Don’t forget the stick for the marshmallow (We ended up getting one of the garden stakes at dollar tree to use))
9. Bug spray
10. Sunblock
11. Shoes !
12. Coal if you want to use the bbq grill
13. A cooler with ice in it !
14. Water
15. Sandals/crocs to put on easily when you want to walk around the campsite & to go to the bathroom !
16. Hat to protect you from the sun when you’re walking on the trails
17. A neck fan if this is your first time and you’re not sure how you’ll deal with the Florida heat
Something that is optional also is a walking stick, it is not needed but recommended. my fiancée had an easy time going down but going up he wished he had one
You are not along at night either, there is a ranger on duty and you will be provided a number to his/her cell phone & landline.
This scenic park with a campground & cabins is host to activities such as hiking, fishing & boating.
Spot #4 is really nice! Not much for evening shade but that's more an issue from hurricane Michael October2018. Recovery is ongoing. Facilities are very very clean. Only 31 sites and one cabin. We'll maintained trails. Unfortunately, all the roads are a minefield of potholes and erosion. You travel 2 total miles of this to get to the campground. This was a complaint 3 years ago in reviews, and hasn't changed here in Oct 2022. Very quiet and secluded,,,,no real road noises. Pretty hidden gem less than 10 miles off interstate 10!

We stayed here in April of 2022. This is a nice small campground right on the shore of Lake Seminole. We have a 38 foot trailer and we were able to maneuver pretty well into our spot. (not all sites are that big) We used the campground as a jump off spot to kayak some of the clear springs in Jackson and Washington Counties. The town of Snead's that it is in is small but has gas stations a small grocery store and of course a Dollar General. 😁 The park was very quiet and when we were there the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. There are only two times a day the park Rangers we're at the registration building (9am to 9:30 and 4pm to 4:30 oh and that is Central time zone). The only downside was the road coming in was very rough in spots and the don't have onsite sewage. (They do have a very nice dump station and for the price it is a great deal overall.) We would definitely stay here again.

Tons of birds..saw a gator, deer
The bathrooms are immaculate....cleaner than any public bathroom anywhere.
Tons of trails. Even the restrooms near the pavilions were exceptionally clean! Hats off to those camp workers!

Nice recovery from Micheal! Small campground with good sites. They are not crammed together. We caught some big bluegill from the dock, they were very tasty. Also caught a turtle, he was returned safely. Wildflowers and wildlife everywhere. We had a curious armadillo hanging around.

We had the best spot in the park, the host Patty was fantastic and she is the biggest sweetheart! We rented a canoe and went out and paddled around. There are some big gators, but they usually don't bother you. Beautiful area, the frog and the stars at night are amazing.

The most serene and calm I've ever experienced at a park, we were literally the only ones there and had the entire park to ourselves. What a treat! The birds were chirping, the weather was perfect and the trails are a joy to hike. Trails are well maintained and bathrooms are super clean.

Three Rivers State Park in Florida is 8 miles north of Interstate 10 with 30 camp sites overlooking a lake. It appears to have good fishing. Sites, bathroom and grounds are well kept -- with two bar cellular. I haven’t checked antenna TV, to far from Tallahassee. Site 19.

Our likes were the daily doses of wildlife that included cardinals, blue jays, coots, northern mocking birds, limpkins, armadillos, and deer; the park was well-hidden and peaceful; and we were impressed with how well maintained the restrooms were. Our only dislike was our site (#26) accumulated a puddle after each rain storm.

Absolutely 5 stars. I almost don't want to leave a review because it was such a fantastic experience and there were VERY few other people there... all of them were on the water, so I had the trails to myself, which was fantastic. Mostly enjoyed the trail hugging the lake shore, but the higher-elevation trails were also very cool, where I encountered several red-headed woodpeckers, a bald eagle, many other birds, tons of butterflies, and a few deer bounding across the trails. Several picnic benches dotted the lakeside trail - so nice to just sit and observe while the butterflies flitted around me. Highly recommend if you like a little seclusion on your nature walks. (Photo is a black vulture... didn't get a good shot of the bald eagle)

Camped in Camper with family of 5 for the weekend. We hired kayaks, canoes, fished, bushwalked and enjoyed a couple of campfires.
There is:
short 2.2 mile trail, dirt track with soil erosion not suitable for young riders. The boardwalk is short but has a nice outlook as you cross over the water.
The lake near the campsites has a tonn of turtles in it,not much fish in December we got no bites.
No gators seen.
There is a cleared and roped off swimming area with imported sand to play in.
Playgrounds, yes x2. The one in the camping area is the better one.
Plenty of animal tracks along the walking trail, saw bobcat, deer, boar and otter.
Camping.......
Campsites are clean, spread out and most have a perfect view of the water!
Friendly campsite Dennis, sorted us out with firewood.
There are two campsite libraries.
Dumpsite on the way out.

This is a fair park with a top notch staff. To be brutally honest there is not hardly anything to do here other than camp.
The cabins that border the lake are excellent, and seem to be in very nice quality. I have not changed in 20 years, which is kind of nice. The RV area for camping is going to go under renovation. Supposedly this winter and it does need it. Facilities are a little bear but they function and everything is well kept.
Putt putt is very small and there’s not a lot of excitement with this Course but it’s nice if they have it.
There is a beautiful dock behind the welcoming center that you need to go out and stand on. It is peaceful and beautiful, and offers a great view of the lake.
Inside the welcome center they could not have been more friendly and polite. Highly recommend the staff he was very down to earth and super friendly. Often do a lot about all state parks.

Decent sites and facilities. Bathrooms are clean but far from nearly all sites. No hosts were there during our stay so no one was checking the bathrooms to refill toilet paper. Nice playgrounds and a mini golf course at park. "Beach" and play area ar Park as well. We stayed in the Summer and were one of three sites occupied. When we pulled out there was only one obvious long term guest still there. The deserted vibe was a bit creepy. Cell coverage was excellent giving 4 bars consistently.

A sweet little campground and park. All the sites have a great view of the lake. Ours, site 16, was right next to the water. The staff and camp hosts were super friendly and treated us like family. The kayak rental was an easy process and a great value for the price! We live one hour away and will definitely be back for many more weekend getaways.

The state park is gorgeous. It was first come first serve, but I heard they are changing the camping to reserve only. We had a site right on the lake which gave us incredible views. We were able to stick our kayaks in the water when we wanted to and just go. Lots of things to explore. A nice swimming area for people to swim on the other side of the lake from the camping area. We camped the week of memorial day and the gnats were unbearable. I would love to try camping here when it's cooler out. The campground bathrooms were not great. They were never cleaned right, hair all over the shower stalls, toilets not kept clean. This is the campground hosts fault and we did complain. Overall, we would go back!!

Beautiful sun sets. Well kept hiking trails. Love this campground. Wonderful host eager to help and answer any questions you may have. Clean bathhouses and washer/ dryer. Roomy sites. Only half of the campground is open due to past storm damage, so book your site early. Thank you for a great stay.
This national forest offers swimming in spring-fed lakes, picnic facilities, hiking & canoeing.
Definitely a 5 star adventure everytime. Established in 1936, the Apalachicola is the largest national forest in Florida, covering about 574,000 acres. There is so much to see and do. Highly recommend taking the time to speak with some locals ask them a few questions before you adventure unprepared. Local businesses have great advice and you can support the communities by shopping with them. Get a map and always take extra flashlight batteries if you are adventuring at night. Really good advice would be to contact Florida wildlife commission and not go during hunting season. The hunters appreciate the quite and please don't litter or let your campfire get out of control. Preserve this forest for future generations please.

Apalachicola National Forest, is a wildlife management area encompasses over 582,000 acres in Franklin, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla county. There's so much to do. Rivers, creeks, ponds to enjoy fishing, boating or canoe/ kayak . Filled with an assortment of
wildlife, trees, plants it's a great place to ride or walk and enjoy nature. Always be conscientious of your environment example don't step on snakes or gators they'll pretty much leave you alone otherwise. If you plan on exploring deeper in the forest check out a map and get a compass heading or tell someone where about you will be. Please don't litter in the forest.

Hiked Florida Trail across the Apalachicola National Forest. Trail was amazing, and we saw many beautiful sites, especially along the Sopchoppy River. It was awesome to see all the old growth trees hiking through Bradwell Bay Wilderness, but it was somewhat difficult trudging through the swamp.
Only complaint was lots of hunters, who were all nice, but their barking dogs were very annoying. Didn't see a lot of wildlife... probably due to the same complaint.

I’ve played this course for over 20yrs and it’s in as bad as shape as I’ve ever seen. They have some type of weed growing on the greens that makes putting impossible. Reminds me of the price is right game “plinko”. I have no idea why they haven’t addressed this. The tee boxes are in uneven and not in good shape. The fairways are ok but not great. I will not return to this course unless there are major changes.

We were traveling and saw this on "trip advisor" we have the buffet. Southern food at it's finest. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef "Betty". She definitely knows how to make collard greens, and black eyed peas.
We paid $17 each, definitely give them a try.

I love this course. The lay out is great and have been playing here for years BUT the greens are the worst I’ve ever seen. So much crab grass you don’t know where your ball is going. They make excuses it’s bc of the winter months but you can go to any other course is this area and play for the same price or cheaper and they have no issues with keeping their greens great. It’s been on going for 2 years now. Either lower the price or do better Quincy. I feel like I’m putting in my backyard

$50 for the greens the way they are is ridiculous. Asked the proshop and the answer was we just sanded them? Buddy my ball shouldn’t roll in 3 different directions on the way to the hole. Either cut the price or don’t play here!

This is a nice country course on a great piece of property. Hilly contours and mini-vistas keep us coming back from out of town over and over. The greens are soft and spongy, the fairways are "fair", and everything else is hard and dry.

Love this hidden treasure! The 9th hole, par 5, is one of my favorites. Putting the ball on the green, over the water on the third shot is always challenging yet fun. It's never really crowded like most courses in Tallahassee. On Tuesday I can play all I want for 25 bucks.

I've never played golf there but have a social membership which I use to eat in the dining room on Friday nights... Wonderful food and lovely people working there with exceptional service. It feels like old home week. I cannot rate this place high enough for a wonderful outing on a Friday night in beautiful Gadsden County, Florida.
Pretty park. However, we didn't feel the campground was the best choice for our RV. We have a 38' class A unit and while the trees were beautiful, it seemed that the trees would be too low for our RV to fit safely. Recommend taking a look in person if possible before booking. These pics are ones I took while looking around.

Beautiful and tranquil little park in a part of the real Florida. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed camping here with our dog! Very dog friendly, saw lots of people with their pups. The campsite we stayed at was wonderful and very private and it had direct access to one of the trails which we loved!! The nature there is so gorgeous and the water was so calming and beautiful, especially at sunset!! We even saw a few white squirrels!!!!!! No white deer though! The only tiny little gripe that we had was that they only had one kayak ( people keep stealing them!! ) that my mom went in and that one had a hole in it and it started to sink while she was kayaking!! I guess they’ve had problems with people stealing kayaks so that’s why they only had one.

Our second time staying here. Small campground of only 30 sites—Big rigs to tents accommodated. Campgrounds backs up to the Ochlockonee River and offers dump, water & electric, hot showers, clothes line, fire ring, & table. Very clean & well maintained bathhouse, but no heat. Boat ramp, playground & picnic shelter also provided. Sites flat, but some are tight to maneuver. The trail along river and around park are the only trails. 4G Verizon good. Oh, yes, warning that the squirrels are pesky—destroyed some of my Valentine roses and well as chewing on plastic containers—couldn’t leave anything unattended even while we ate each evening.

I enjoyed the stay here. There was wildlife everywhere! We were hunting just down the road at Tate's hell so this was really convenient for us. Bathrooms were nice and clean, big shower stalls with hot hot hot water. We saw an albino squirrel, fox squirrels, and regular old grey squirrels. We started in site #20 and it was right close to the river, very awesome to have coffee and watch the sun rise.

Beautiful, peaceful park. Plenty of hot water in the showers. Close enough to put kayak in river from several sites or use the nice boat launch area which has a kayak launch. Enjoyed seeing white squirrels and "Sugar", the white deer. Lots of small birds. A nice walking trail along the river and scenic drive which we biked. Bring what you need, not much in the way of stores nearby.

Nice quiet campsite. Enjoyed our stay. Facilities and roads could be updated. As I looked over the surrounding landscape, the thought struck me that 10,000 years ago some animal would have been looking at me, saying, "Is it tasty precious? Is it crunchy?" Could use some marketing input on how to best promote their swimming area.

This is a great park for a variety of interests! This park offers a boat ramp, canoe and bike rentals, camping, fishing, hiking and is terrific for birdwatching. The mature pine habitat is especially good for woodpeckers, including the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker. The nature drive is a nice way for the whole family to enjoy the wildlife. It occasionally closes during rainy times but is still available for hiking.

This is another charming state park. Nice and small. Very quiet, very dark at night. Good for star gazing when it isn't cloudy! Very helpful staff. As an older park, the road into the campground is a bit narrow for larger rigs as well as for manuevering into sites, but we managed with our 36' fifth wheel. They had previously had a lot of rain so the ground was saturated and we received more rain. Therefore, there were puddles all around. We were able to change sites to one on a bit higher ground than our reservation, and we were very grateful, as that put us on a concrete pad rather than on the muddy ground. Nice trails and area along the river. Interesting white squirrels running around the campground! The scenic drive has trees marked where there is red-cockcated woodpecker activity and we did hear and see them. Also saw the leucistic deer, known as "Sugar," between the boat launch and campground area. She has a normal head and white body.

The park is clean and very well maintained, and the staff were friendly an attentive. The camping experience was calm and peaceful with plenty to see within a short walking distance of the site. There is only one camping site with hammock posts, but most of the sites would accommodate a hammock tent using some tree friendly straps.

Had an awesome time today here at Gulf Specimen Lab! Was shocked by how much there was to look at here, and my expectations were blown away. If you’re local to the surrounding areas, I recommend getting a members pass because they hold events here, and different activities for the Family to enjoy! Me and my grandmother had such a fun time learning about all the different little critters that live right next-door to us in our lovely ocean❤️ along with all the fun activities, we learned that this is a rehabilitation center. Most of these animals are unable to return to the wild due to health problems, and this staff does an amazing job at making sure All their needs are met! I love the “kill two birds with one stone” idea, Rehabilitating these lovely animals while also teaching the public about ocean life!!! If you Happen to be in the area, it is well worth the drive to check this place out!!!!

Awesome little aquarium! Kids had a blast and us adults had a lot of fun too! There's many touch tanks so we were able to hold a lot of different species of animals. Decent priced to get in and different photo opportunities outside with the fake gators, turtle, crab and sharks. I suggest anyone who visits reads their mission statement and "about us" on their website. This will give an idea of how the aquarium got started and some background on the people who own it. Makes the experience a little more special I think. Would def recommend!

Rather small, but gave a good glance at some animals in the Gulf. I enjoyed it overall, got to hold a Horseshoe Crab. 🦀
There is a small fee but it was reasonable for the experience.

So underrated! This place is fantastic!! The help they do for us Floridians and for the wildlife is unmatched.
Please consider taking your friends and family here for the day! They have several interactive tanks and lovely fish! Plus, an octopus and many nurse sharks. We were able to see the sting rays during feeding time, and I was a big fan of the eels. Don't forget to check out the turtles!

Small, educational and definitely worth a visit. The volunteers do a great job and this is a surprisingly good establishment for where it’s located.

One of my favorite places to go. The kids love the opportunity to learn about the animals in the ocean. My son was completely fascinated by the touch tanks. He loved the scallops and even got a book about them in the gift shop.

Very cool! Love it and will be back for sure!!! Thank you for doing what you do to help the animals in your area! Thank you for an amazing, fun experience.
We took our (old teens) and ourselves the first day so we could know what to look out for! We came and learned more than I had planned.

Our family really enjoyed this aquarium. We learned a lot, the staff was extremely helpful. I would love to see the animals in more enriching/larger tanks someday, I know that’s a big expense. The animals seem well taken care of and I love that many of them were rescued. The sea turtle was my favorite!
Amanda Amundson — Google review
My son and I went here and had a good day. Touch tanks were a hit. Lots of cool things to pick up and look at. Not a crazy amount of things to see but worth a stop in.
Cory Green — Google review
Enclosures are way too small for the sharks and big rays. One ray was causing the other to bleed during the feeding as it was frenzied. Many tanks were dirty and had no habitat to them, just concrete.
If you don't have the funds or staff to do something properly, relocate the animals. Research and education should not come at the expense of animal care and treatment.
The other tanks for smaller fish and animals were spaced well. The ray feeding attendant was great at her speech and friendly, as were other staff. Good gift shop and good information around the facility about the importance of preservation.

Very interesting local aquarium. Some tanks were touch tanks. The variety of fish was representative of local fish. We were able to see the feeding of the Loggerhead turtle, which was amazing.

I stumbled on this place by accident and so glad I did!
It is within walking distance of the RV park we are staying in. It is non profit, so you will not see all the high tech here. However, it has many pools for viewing different species of sealife. They also have several pool allowing you to handle different species. I discovered many of their sea animals are sent to zoos, wildlife parks and universities for aquatic studies.
This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and learn about sealife in the Gulf.

The Tallahassee Museum is a historical site on a beautiful lakeside property that offers school children enriching experiences with science, art, history and world cultures. The museum has exhibits of native animals in natural habitats and also has reconstructed historic buildings.
We had a blast and the staff was incredible!! We will be returning as it can be an all day adventure. I would recommend this park to anyone passing through or wanting to have a day full.of fun with the family 👪 😊. We did the full zip line trail and got to view some of the animals. We will be returning to view the rest of this wonderful hidden gem 💎.

Beautiful outdoors area with a lots of animals and Interesting dinosaur sculptures. I did not go zip lining but the people who were doing it looked like they were having a blast and there were a ton of lines to zip across. It was not very expensive to go here either, I did not know what to expect and can say that I was very impressed with this museum. I would absolutely go back.

Go here for sure! They not only have a cool zip line area for kids, but they have a nature area as well. The historical area was informational and neat, and the nature area was amazing! Cool animals and trails. Only started the nature trail, but want to finish it next time I'm in the area.

Wow. Went not knowing what to expect. Encountered school field trip. We were not in any hurry so just joined in with the crowd. The Phipps Gallery was featuring artwork by Ernest M. Lee whom we are familiar with. We took the walk to see the animals. I liked the cypress trees the best. Lots of historical information. We visited a one-room schoolhouse. A railway inspector car and the gift shop. There is a cafe on the premises and lots of tables outside also. Zip lines for adults and kids. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Beautiful place.

My daughter was a little too short for the mid grade zip line and the young one turned out to be a bit too young for her. My son loved the mid level adventure. You need an adult to go with the child*
The rest of the outside area was nice with the different animals and historical pieces. Wonderful for a nice day.

A totally awesome experience! Took my my daughter, who’s 11, we both loved the ropes course. Then enjoyed walking the grounds to sight see and read up on the local history. The walking trails are beautiful - take your camera.

We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the animals. The Museum staff and volunteers keep the property very well maintained. Everything was neat and tidy. The animals all looked amazing, and their areas were set up where you could see them easily. It was very hot the day we went, but there was plenty of shade to make it an enjoyable visit. Having a nice Café on-site to sit down to cool off while you ate was an extra bonus. Their lunch choices were very good and very tasty, as well as reasonably priced. It was also nice to have a gift shop to pick up something as a reminder about a great family day.

Great place. Large….something like 50+ acres. Agree it’s more like a zoo but animals appeared to be healthy and in their natural habitat. Agreed that reptiles should have larger homes but we were able to see almost all the animals. The tree activities would be great for younger folks. It was fantastic to be that close the animals and they were’t afraid. If I saw a black bear or panther in my backyard you’d hear me screaming in Texas!!
Suzanne Morton — Google review
This place is always absolutely wonderful. Even with it being a 100° outside. As long as you go in the morning because they open at 9. You will be just fine, and the kids will have a blast. Even if you don't have kids, you will still have a good time. They have a tree to tree adventure and zipliness all over the place, They also have a playground and lots of animals. I believe this place is definitely for all ages. You will have a wonderful time.!!

We have been to the museum several times for day trips and have also done some night prowls. The night prowls are our favorite! We became members and our son is going to one of the summer camps this year. Very knowledgeable staff especially on the night prowls! Playground, food, tree walk,

We had a GREAT time! I used to take my children and they went on field trips here. It was always such a treat. Now I have a Grandbaby and we took her for the first time. Her favorites were the sheep and the pigs! The otter was quite lazy and slept for our entire visit. What a great day. (The picture of the dinosaur is made only of car parts).

My boys went to zip line there. They absolutely loved the experience. Trainers were very friendly and instructed kids well. Please note that if thunders are in the area, the zip line place will be closed for further notice. We experienced this type of close-down twice in three days. I guess it’s pretty common during the rainy season. Parents, bring bug sprays and wear sneakers, mosquitoes and ants in the late July will annoy you for sure. I love most Jim Gary’s animal sculptures made of abandoned car parts. They look so live and beautiful. Oh, we encountered a golden lizard too, a live one not a sculpture.

Incredible!! If you enjoy seeing beautiful nature in Florida from an exhilarating view literally from the top of trees, visit the Tallahassee Museum and enjoy multiple fun zip lines and obstacle course up high in the tall tree tops! It’s very challenging but extremely fun and safe!

This was a fun little place! Definitely a good place to bring the family for a half day excursion. There's plenty of animals to see and some interesting historical buildings as well!
Sara Hunt — Google review
The Tallahassee Museum has a lot to offer for a low admission price. Nature trails, animal exhibits, history exhibits, and canopy walks and zip lines. Strolling through the tree tops has an additional charge, but the area is so beautiful it is worth it. The animals are extremely well cared for and have a variety of enrichment items to interact with. On top of it all, they participate in the SPP (species protection plan) for the critically endangered red wolf! The grounds are very well kept and so are the exhibits themselves. There is most certainly something for the whole family to enjoy here.

I went here March 2022 and another time afterwards and my kids and I had a blast. They had a lot of different activities so no one should be bored. There’s zip lining, a nice park, a place to get brunch and drinks, exhibits and much more. I’ve been here twice but I plan to go again. Definitely something nice to do during the weekend. Wasn’t too pricey either!

My favorite museum/zoo in the panhandle! The historic sites are beautiful and well maintained, and I love how all of the animals are rehabilitated rather than bred in captivity. The animals have a very realistic habitat rather than small, confined spaces. A very diverse museum that represents Old Florida in an interactive environment. 10/10
Regan Benites — Google review
Lovely place to visit and spend time. Plenty to walk around. Great animal exhibits. Lots of animals to view. Some cool history, but is more of a zoo sanctuary than a museum. Regardless worth the visit. Spent 4 hours checking everything out.

This is an outdoors museum. They have bears, white tail deer, Florida cougars, bald eagles, red tip owls, wolves, various birds, foxes, to name a few. The lake encroaches on the property which makes for beautiful cypress forest. There are various dinosaur sculptures by Jim Gary. He used old car parts from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. Whimsical and creative. The walkways are easy to navigate. Highly recommend the museum.

We went on a field trip today with my child's school. It was a fantastic experience, and the kids had fun. It is a lot of walking. There is a playground, animals, metal dinosaurs, and a farm area. The metal dinosaurs were a huge hit!
Will I be back? Probably for the next field trip.

All local animals found in Florida/Georgia. A lot of them are rescue animals found hurt or needing healthcare. Nice sized animal exhibit, very cool wooden playground and for the thrill seekers there is zip lines and obstacle courses! Little ones had a blast!
Aaron Ricedup7 — Google review
This place is definitely much closer to a zoo than a museum and pretty much all of it except a very small center is outdoors. This will not be very accessible to everyone as there's some parts that are dirt, mulch, gravel and boardwalk. However, the majority of it is shaded which is nice and the views were beautiful. All the animals had great big and very natural enclosures and all seemed healthy, which is always nice to see (I do wish their reptile enclosures were larger as they certainly have the space for it). We even got to see deer treading through swamp water which was new to me! The place is dotted with different flora all around as well. And my favorite part was trying to find the foxes up in the trees!! They also had metal prehistoric creatures sporadically placed around the property! It was neat!

If you're thinking, "the state capital of a tourist state must have a fantastic museum," then you don't know Tallahassee. This is less of a city museum/zoo and more of a Billy Bob's Gator Emporium where you're left wondering if you did actually find the right place. Don't get me wrong, the staff seemed to care, and the animals were taken care of, but it was also in the middle of the woods surrounded by swamps, and you could tell.
Probably my biggest complaint is the one bridge over the swamp that was pretty rotted and felt unsafe to be on the entire time. I'm not talking about turning brown and peeling paint, I'm talking squelching wood that leaks water like a sponge and leaves an indent of your foot. On the other hand, the bridge around the gators actually seemed to be in good repair, which was relieving.
I suppose if I had realized that Tallhassee was a fairly rural city, none of this would have been surprising. It was just surprising coming from another Florida city and having expectations for the state capital to appear something like Orlando, Jacksonville, or Tampa. Just know what to expect. I would describe it as a nature walk around a small collection of late 1800s farm houses that also has a couple of native animals, and sometimes you see a metal dino sculpture.

Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is a popular destination known for its riverboat tours, swimming, and snorkeling opportunities. The park boasts of a natural spring that is surrounded by Spanish moss and has an otherworldly aqua glow. It has been used as a filming location for movies such as Tarzan's Secret Treasure and The Creature from the Black Lagoon. With 1.
We love this place, the water is nice, the park is always clean including the bathrooms and grills. The hotel and gift shop is beautiful andbstaff is friendly. The only negative is if you get the covered tables by the woods you need to watch for ticks.

Beautiful fresh water lagoon! The water is cool, since it comes from under ground, and is super refreshing on hot days. There is a boat ride you can take and see lots of swamp wild life: manatees, alligators, fish, snakes, birds, turtles, etc. There is a public swimming area with swimming for little kids and adults. For those adventurous enough, the swimming area has a 20ft platform people can safely jump off of. We took our 3yr old on a boat ride, swimming area, and ice cream. Many others picnicked and grilled.

Phenomenal highly recommended a trip here and you need to go on the boat ride! We saw manatees, alligators and other wildlife on the boat! The water is so clear. The boat ride is cheap and very informative. The guide was awesome and knowledgeable! Do not miss going here when you are in the area! “The Hood” oh and the lodge is old so it’s got history and that’s cool. Black lagoon!

You will see wildlife on the boat tour. Our tour guide was awesome. I really enjoyed the nature experience. Saw multiple manatees, alligators, various birds and turtles! The shop has hot food and cold beverages to chose from as well. Great little store and park to visit.

I stayed at the Lodge and it was lovely! The beds were very comfortable! And breakfast was fantastic. The boat tour was very enjoyable, relaxing and informative. We saw many different birds, turtles, alligators and manatees. Due to the rain we did not get to walk the trails, but hopefully next time.

Nice park. You can see Manatees if you time it right. People were swimming and jumping off the deck. The water temperature stays consistent. Very nice gift shop. The food in the Restaurant was good. The only negative is they can't seem to keep their tour boats running. Not sure if that is a state issue or a local park issue.

Lovely grounds, swimming and picnic area. Absolutely no service inside. In dining room or snack shop. Multiple workers but none that seemed interested in any form of customer service.

Discovered this gem today. If you've never been, there is a huge lodge that you can stay overnight. A spring fed swimming area. And a boat ride through the spring run. The boat ride is additional cost from the park admission. On the boat ride, you will see lots of alligators, sea cows, birds and turtles. The guide will give you a lot of info about the park and how it was founded. There is also an ice cream shop in the lodge. The old 1950's movie, Creature From the Black Lagoon was filmed here.

It was very enjoyable. We had lunch at the picnic tables and even saw a tiny alligator at the sink holes! We were going to go on the boat tour but it was already booked for the day (due to FSU Homecoming traffic)
The chairs were super comfy in the lodge and the person behind the counter was super helpful!
The water felt great and there weren't very many people swimming!
Highly recommend

This is a must-do attraction if you’re anywhere near. Buy the river boat tickets ahead of time (make reservations a week in advance). This was the highlight of our trip to Tallahassee. We saw probably 30 alligators, hundreds of fish and birds, 4 manatees, and so many pretty views. There is a swimming area (which just happened to have a gator in it) with jumping platforms. The spring is pristine and such a treat to be able to experience. The lodge is beautiful, too.

The boat tour is a great place to see wildlife. We had a great tour guide (tall, young gentleman). A nice fresh water spring with a high dive to swim in. There are also some nature trails you can walk.

Oh yes. Except for the occasional loud person, who spouts profanity before jumping off the diving platform, this place is family fun. Cool water that's clear and clean. Two platforms for jumping into the spring waters. Trails to explore. The boat ride is a must, at least once.

We took the boat ride and it was great. We saw a lot of native Wildlife including alligators and manatees. If I can make one suggestion it would be that our guide spoke louder because he was really funny and informative at the same time.

We were there this year to enjoy the grounds and do some hiking. In the past, we have eaten at their magnificent Thanksgiving Day buffet. I love the architecture and nostagic feel of the inn. We spotted several manatees and a nursing calf this time. So special!

Moving back to the area, the Springs not as clear. However the park recently went to Electric Tour boats! Bravo WSP!
The foods fantastic and if you get a chance to stay at the lodge, do.
The staff at the Lodge are cheerful and very helpful. Checking in and out no snags and the rooms are clean. No tv. Thank you

Nice state park, some hiking trails, a hotel with restaurant and gift shop. Info booth and a boat tour that is pretty fun. Not pet friendly. We saw manatees, turtles, great blue herons, many other water fowl, lots of fish in the super clear water, and a dozen or so sleeping alligators along the shore. We even saw a deer bedded down in an alligator nest. $8 for the boat tour of appx 45 mins. Lunch at the lodges was very good, and a bit on the pricey side, but they are super slow. So don't plan to make it a quick bite

I have been visiting wakulla springs my entire life. As a child in the 50s and '60s living in Florida with no air conditioning, my mother would bring us here several times a week to enjoy the cool year-rounds 71° water. We would often bring a picnic. At the time there was a snack/ burger/ hot dog bar where the showers are. There was a sunken"tub" with windows, you could look out into the river and watch huge large mouth bass swim by. Glass bottom boats perusing crystal clear waters and watch a" trained" fish jump over a log. The rooms at that time were furnished with original antique beds with little ladders. You climbed up to get into the bed 🙂 it is still an amazing place to go, the jungle cruises still operate and it's never tiring to hear the story of the filming of THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. Do a little research and find out about the history of Ed Ball and his connections to politics in Florida and one of the most powerful families to ever exist in the United States. Nothing is perfect. :-), but holiday buffets are wonderful at wakulla springs and provide an amazing unique venue to enjoy. Book early!

The Mission San Luis de Apalachee is a museum that preserves the history of Spanish explorers and the merging of cultures between Spanish settlers and Native Floridians. The Apalachee Council House, which was once used as a meeting place for the Native chiefs, is an important part of this museum. Other buildings on site include the church, convent, fort and typical Spanish house.
This is a nice informative museum that offers a unique interactive glimpse into Florida's early Spanish colonial history. Tallahassee's little Williamsburg. I was hoping to find native American artifacts and I was not disappointed. The residents of the mission park are engaging and knowledgeable and add an extra dimension to the museum experience. The fort commander knew his detail and the friar at the church authentically made me feel guilty and ashamed. I had a good time.

Beautiful informative museum preserving Florida’s history. Quite a gem. Loved the blacksmith demonstration especially, that was our favorite part! We even bought a J hook from the gift shop made from the blacksmith on site. The interactive staff were great, adding information and facts about the different areas. Dog friendly, our pup had a great time walking around. Highly recommend. Really enjoyed our time here. 10/10.

This place has a small museum in the front that's free to visit, and a bunch of recreated buildings in the back that show what life was like hundreds of years ago at this location. If you like historical stuff, this is a very interesting place to visit. Recreated Appalachee council house, Spanish settler's house, Spanish fort. Costumed staff will explain things from the perspective of the inhabitants. Also, cheap to enter so overall well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed this stop! It is only $5 for an adult and you walk through the village with people dressed up telling you about their area. The blacksmith was actually making items that are for sale in the gift shop. The soldiers were really cool and very informative. We also really enjoyed checking out the church part and talking to the fryer!

The living history folks really make the place. With them telling the story of the location and explaining the details and then thinking of it in the overall context of what was happening in the "new world" was interesting to hear. Seeing the large structures and two cultures live peacefully was pretty cool.

It only took one walk through to know that we wanted Mission San Luis to be our wedding venue. We had done extensive research throughout Tallahassee and Thomasville for venues but nothing seemed to fit our style as well as Mission did. The beautiful ceremony area, the intimate cocktail hour courtyard, and the elegant reception hall all just matched our vision for our dream wedding. Though we had a beautiful ceremony outside in front of the arch, their inside alternative for a rainy day is just as beautiful. It gave me peace of mind knowing I had that option if needed. We appreciated their communication with any changes and willingness to let us drop to tour the premises multiple times. Mission San Luis provided us with a beautiful location for our wedding and we can’t thank them enough!
Mikayla Irvin — Google review
I had the most wonderful time photographing a wedding here. Firstly, there are rooms on the second floor that make it really easy to go from getting ready to the outside for ceremony. There are lots of trees and the landscaping is very well maintained so that there are tons of possibilities for couples shot and family shots. Inside in the reception area the lighting is nice and moody but we can get some really good shots with off camera flashes as the ceiling provides a good way to bounce the flash. Overall, this a great place for a wedding! I highly recommend it.

As a photographer doing a family session with young kids, Cascades park is great location. The flowers and playground and the amphitheater make such a fun location for the kids to run around and grab action shots! I loved my family session with the Fraites family at Cascades park. We had a terrific time and got some great family shots! Check them out below!

Very nice city park with sidewalks all around, a water splash for toddlers, dog friendly and an emphasis on education about the area . picnic areas and lots of benches and swings. Modern restrooms and a few geese and ducks in the area.

Cute little park. Didn't get to tour the whole area, but the parts I did see were nice and clean. Also had a great kids' play area. Good for a quick, safe stroll, and maybe a short picnic.

Another wildly entertaining event with The Flaming Lips on a beautiful spring evening in Tallahassee to kick off this weekend's Word of South.

We were visiting from out of town and I’m so happy I stumbled across this park! It’s beautiful and I has a couple of restaurants—we grabbed a coffee and a smoothie and enjoyed the walk. Super dog friendly and accessible!

Absolutely love riding the scooters around the park, but it wasnt very clean with our last few visits. I'm hoping the next time we visit that's different and if it is I will update my review! They do have a very cool water feature for kids, but there was alot of trash around. Overall a good place to visit.

It's a great place to have a relaxing walk or take a rest in the sitting area and enjoy the view
A beautiful park with gardens, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park is a popular spot for hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming. The grounds include a secret garden that is often used for weddings and also have a beautiful reflecting pool and camellias.
I absolutely love this place! The lady is very sweet who gives out the info. She always makes sure we are taken care of and have everything we need. The recreation area is nice and we love to kayak there! The gardens are fantastic in the spring especially, but all year around. It's just a magical place to me. I love the trees there!

Beautiful gardens. Come in February to seek camellia's in their Bloom. Come in March to see azaleas in their Bloom. Come in April to see a dogwoods in their balloon. During blooming season there is an extra charge in addition to the State Park entrance fee.

This park is so rich with scenic foliage and it’s masterfully landscaped. Rich in history it is highly recommended that you include the gardens and the hunting lodge. They have tours of the lodge included with the entrance fee and the volunteers are a wealth of knowledge on the family that resided here just a few months of the year. January to April are the months things begin to bloom, my pics were taken mid January this year.

I stopped here to break up a long drive on I-10. I just checked out the gardens but there are trails that I might try on a future trip. The gardens were in full bloom and so colorful with all the azaleas. I'd highly recommend a timing a visit to see everything blooming if you can.

Beautiful gardens and park. What a wonderful day to spend outdoors with your family. It's very peaceful and serene. I enjoyed all the flowering trees. The park rangers were very nice and helpful. Great place for a wedding maybe a picnic? There are other paths I need to explore next time. Definitely coming back here.

Took our two new kayaks there to test them out. They did great! There are lots of nice people at the beach. Beautiful flowers, water lilies, and herons. Small lake for kayaking, but if you circle the shores, you will get a good workout, and see pretty homes.

I can't say enough great things about this park. I was there to take a walk, but many families were there taking prom photos. You can see from my uploaded pics how beautiful it is. A true gem in Tallahassee. It is fairly small so it would be an ideal walk for families with younger children and elderly parents. There was a $6 car fee to enter but I have a state park pass so it was no charge.

What a beautiful park! You get to one area and you think that’s the best part…until you get to the next area, and so on… every area has its own unique beauty. My husband and I captured so many wonderful memories in picture form! The alligator sightseeing was a plus! We’re in Florida after all, this is their home.

Beautiful garden, we had such a great time! Huge lake and Oak trees with Spanish moss. We were passing through so we missed the bloom in spring but definitely worth coming back to see since the garden is filled with azaleas and camellias.

Wow... where to begin... this park is gorgeous and very well-maintained. There is a beach, trails and a beautiful garden area to walk through. This park is also a lot of fun for people who love history. The ranger at the entrance was also so sweet. Definitely coming back to visit again soon!

This park was awesome! Beautiful to walk around and plenty to see. Very peaceful. We did see an alligator so I’d suggest staying on paths marked for visitors which are likely more safe (we took a wrong turn at one point). Different feels for different areas. A recommended stop if in the area. I would definitely go back.

What a mesmerizing experience!
As we arrived and wandered into the gardens, it felt as though we were crossing the threshold into an enchanted realm from the pages of a cherished tale. Every corner revealed meticulously tended grounds, and the path unfolded like a magical ribbon guiding our steps. At each twist and turn, we were met with breathtaking vistas and inviting nooks to pause and immerse ourselves in the crisp, invigorating air.
Our visit, nestled within the embrace of late November, offered a delightful surprise – despite the approaching chill of winter, the gardens were alive with a riotous burst of blooms, as if nature herself had woven a tapestry of colors to dazzle our senses.
This haven proved to be a haven for myriad pursuits – from capturing the ethereal beauty through the lens of a camera, to embarking on tranquil nature strolls that soothed the spirit and lifted the soul. Truly, it was an experience that transported us to a realm where worries fade and the wonders of the natural world embrace us with open arms.

Beautiful gardens. If you have an annual Florida State Park Pass, you get in free. We missed the azalea and camellia season, it's didn't matter.

This was a nice stop on our trip home (right off the highway) and it was not crowded whatsoever. If you want to feel like you're completely alone in the middle of nowhere, this is a great place for that. We managed to stumble upon a little gnome's house right off of the trail, which was a pleasant surprise.

Ann at entrance was awesome! Very helpful! Beautiful gardens! You can’t take any water in or we would of stayed longer! Other than that it was perfect!!

Lovely quiet walk through the gardens. Be aware that in November the visitors center and house are closed, plus very little is blooming. But hey, November, right?

The park has a nice picnic area by the lake. The gardens were full of camelia and azaleas. The gardens have several walking paths.
