Love love PCB winery! Our favorites are the Midnight Sun (orange coffee), Peach, Mango, red and white sangria, Key Lime, and really—everything is great! The tasting gives you so much to choose from, and includes and smoothie treat of your choice at the end! Friendly staff with great recommendations. Can’t wait to purchase more for family friends and gifts.

Sarah was fun and informative for my first “citrus” tasting. Love the store. My favorite is the key lime sparkling and wine!! The orange frozen was spectacular. Can’t wait to make it up at home!
Cleon Broussard — Google review
Such an amazing fruit winery. Normally, I am not a fan of fruit wines. They are usually a grape wine (often muscadine grapes) that is fortified with fruit juice or flavoring. Not something I really enjoyed.
This Winery is a cut above all others because their wines are made from 100% fruit juice. For example, the blackberry wine is made out of 4 lb of blackberries. Likewise, the mango wine is made from mangoes 100%. For us, the hands-down winner was the orange coffee wine. Not only was it very unique, but sipping it prior to eating the desert you could pick up on a lot orange flavor with a hint of coffee in the background. If you took a bite of the desert, the coffee notes were more pronounced. I highly recommend going for the free wine tasting. It was amazing.

Nice selection of fruit and citrus based wines. Some really nice slushy mixes. Free wine tasting. More expensive than Duplin but different wines.

If you’re in the area and looking to try some fun fruit wine, this is a fun stop to make. Swing by for a free wine tasting, enjoy a glass and then shop their store (they have many items that will make you LOL).

This place is a must if visiting Panama City Beach! Chuck the owner gave us a wine tasting and it was awesome! 100% juice wines that are amazing! World famous too!

Longtime friends are members in another state and vacationed here when y’all opened. We met them, had a WONDERFUL time at the tasting. Our host, Darcy was fabulous! As locals we have our favorite “local” places to go, you are ON the list. We’re members now. Can’t wait to visit again!

We finally made it. We were referred by friends who knew we were wine people. Now, knowing it was all fruit-based wines, I expected a lot of sugary fruit bombs. But I have to say that these wines, while mostly sweet, had a freshness, subtlety and character all their own. If you like traditional dry wines, open up your mind and palette to a new experience. The Passion Fruit and Tomato wines were truly unique and delicious experiences. And the service and staff was top notch! Knowledgable and friendly staff to walk you through your tasting. Would definitely recommend to wine lovers of all levels!

UPDATE: The new owner reached out to me and was very pleased. I’d like to thank you for responding right away.
I would give you a much higher rating. Thank you once again.

I called talked to the Manager. I had bought a lot of wine, moved and it was stored in a box in a dark cool closet. I forgot it was there, found it the other day and a friend was over so opened a bottle, it was terrible stuff floating in the bottle. I poured it down the drain. I sit here with 3 more of the same problem.
Well The response I got from the manager was we have a no return or exchange policy.
Well paying 15-20 dollars a bottle tells me they will never see me in their store again.
Very sad Customer Service.
Plus, there is no expiration date.

I feel like this is a little hidden gem. Alexie was so good at her job and knowledge. All the wines we tasted where good. My favorite was the watermelon and kiwi…DELICIOUS. The store was so cute and a lot of beautiful art. I would highly recommended this place. They had wine slushes and they where just as delicious as the wine. The staff was so friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean and it was just a peaceful setting. Best part.. if you are out of town you can order online!! Love it!

Yes totally recommend!!! Wines are good and not too sweet. Key lime was my favorite wine . I got a raspberry slush which was a tasty treat. The shop is very chill and pretty. Wine tastings are straight forward and theres plenty to choose from. Between the wine, the wine holders , mixers , and cups they have variety. The staff was very knowledgeable and were able to describe the different types of wine to us. We’ll be back!

This local winery is a hidden gem. Julie was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. She explained things well and even provided a dark chocolate dessert for me to enjoy with my orange wine (due to allergies I was unable to have the usual sweet treat). We ended up buying 6 bottles of wine and one syrup to make us wine slushy at home.

An attraction dedicated to oddities and oddities of all shapes and sizes, including shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons - Ripley's Believe It or Not! is a great place to spend a rainy day in Panama City Beach. With four main attractions (the Odditorium, the 7D Moving Theatre, the Impossible LaseRace, and the Marvelous Mirror Maze), it has something for everyone. Prices vary depending on what you want to do, but combo tickets are available.
It's worth doing once. There is so much stuff and to really get the experience your going to read a lot but it was a ton of fun. The mirror maze was really cool for me and my daughter, but didn't take long. We ended up going back and forth a few times. I will say, the weird space room was fantastic and it made it seem like we were floating. Loved it.
Eric Stender — Google review
I’m gonna start off by saying it is very overpriced for what is there. It’s a good place to kill some time. My kids were more interested in the gift shop if that says anything. The 7D game was the most fun. If you wanna just kill some time id say yeah go for it, but other than its quite expensive especially if your taking more than 2 kids.
Mitchell Lowe — Google review
Absolutely wonderful! So intriguing, so amazing that one man could have amassed that wealth of collections from around the world. Just a number of places you visited was absolutely incredible. The museum is a great insight to everything that was going on with Mr. Ripley and what he accomplished. You will not be disappointed! We did not do the maze, but the theater is a lot of fun! Take your time and make sure you get a chance to try everything in the museum.
Gregory Ritz — Google review
We decided to visit while we were in town and we ended up having a fantastic time. The exhibits were interesting and the interactive aspects were a lot of fun. The 7-D movie was about 5 minutes but was pretty fun. The mirror maze was a lot of fun as well.
Loren Fowler — Google review
Neat auditorium as usual, the mirror maze was entertaining as well. The 7D movie was also fun. The laser maze was not good. It did not work properly or set up properly I'm not sure. All I know is it turned on the lasers and music and did nothing else while other people kept trying to come in as well. Perhaps have an attendant over there to help direct everyone? It was costly as with most Ripley's but with exception of the maze I'd definitely recommend a visit. Also for the military people they do offer a pretty decent discount.
Chris Litton-Merrell — Google review
Definitely a fun place to take the kiddos, I would recommend for at least ages 5+ Our 4 yr old couldn't do the little movie theater ride. He wasn't tall enough, And he didn't seem very interested in the 'Oddities' attraction other than the little playground thing halfway through. And the maze scared him. The older two 8 & 11 had a blast. And were very invested in each attraction. So Definitely something that age group will find fascinating . For adults the place is loaded with a ton of interesting facts and a few good info-videos. Lots of neat artwork, and historical tidbits. I definitely want to come back just me and the hubby so we can really take it all in without being pulled through by tiny impatient people lol.
Emily Lipham — Google review
I first visited as a child so to be able to bring my husband, son, dil, and grandchildren was Such a rewarding experience. They did not disappoint. I recommend the pass for everything and don't forget to go online and get your discount coupon. It was worth it. It was worth every cent. I hope to do it again.

It was a fun museum. My only complaint was I felt the price was high for how short/little the museum was. I would expect 2-3 hours for that price, it did not take us that long. Family of 6- 3 year old free so had to pay for 5 which was about $150 with the mirror maze. They had a decent section on the Titanic, which we enjoyed. Some of the survey questions were wrong though- for example one questions asked how long it took to sink- it should have been about 3 hours but that was marked wrong.
Jon Riegler — Google review
Believe It or Not!! We purchased our tickets online which was easy. The kids didn't really enjoy this place. Some of the exhibits freaked my little one out so he was ready to go. It's a nice place just to kill sometime and get out of the summer heat.
Kay Lafleur — Google review
My wife and I went with some friends and loved it! We paid $35 each for the “VIP” experience which seemed like a great deal compared to prices of most other stuff in the area. We loved all of it: the mirror maze was fun and not too short/long, the laser maze was fun, the 7D ride was a surprisingly fun shooting game with a scoreboard, and the odditorium was great. Several interesting exhibits, impressive dioramas, and more! Some of my favorite displays are in the attached photos, great place for people of any age!
Ryan Finley — Google review
This is a fun location for an afternoon outing. It only took a couple of hours to walk through the entire museum. There was a lot of history and interesting exhibits. A few were interactive. Exhibits. Some fun activities for the kids. The cost was reasonable. It's not very friendly for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. There are a few stairs to climb and a lot of walking. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Jennifer Mordan — Google review
We were looking for something inside to do since it was so cold out. We bought tickets online and there was no line once we got there. Pricing wasn't terrible and was right around the price of other things to do in the area (zoo, marine center, etc) I have a 15 yr old and a 5 yr old. it felt like there was enough to keep them both fairly interested. Giving 4 stars because it did look like it could use a few upgrades and some TLC. We would suggest it to friends in the area, but it's one of those places that once you've been, you probably wouldn't need to go back again (unless you just really wanted to!) Overall a good experience, spent about $75 for 3 adults, my 4 year old was free. Then spent about $45 on 'souvenirs' in the shop.
Meg D — Google review
We visited here over the summer and it was a BLAST! I will say, I thought it was tied in with the crazy building across the street, but they are their own separate experiences. The displays are impressive and interactive. It kept my teenagers entertained for a few hours and that’s no easy task! I’d highly recommend!
Amanda Fraley — Google review
There are three different things to do here, which are the mirror maze, museum, and VR shooting gallery. We did all three and, while each one was fun, the mirror maze was the best. It was short and challenging, while also having history displays hidden within.
The museum is quite large and will probably take you about 45 minutes to an hour to get through depending on how much you read.
The shooting gallery only takes about five minutes and is moderately fun.
Dalton Carney — Google review
Ripley's offers a neat experience that you won't find elsewhere. While I do wish there was more to see/do (spent ~2.5 hours here), there is variety of displays and interesting topics to learn from like the Titanic, unique artwork/sculptures, deformed animals, and even cannibalistic rituals
Tyler Norris — Google review
The 7d zombie thing was so much fun! The mirror maze did give me some anxiety but we did make it out lol.
Robert Smith — Google review
We meandered for about 90 minutes then had another 15 minutes or so of fun in the maze. My 10 year old didn't want to leave the maze 😅
Rebekah Hills — Google review
Visiting Ripley's Believe It or Not was an incredible experience! The attractions were diverse and entertaining, especially the 7D theater, which took us on an immersive adventure. The mirror maze was a fun challenge, adding excitement to our visit. Throughout the exhibits, we encountered fascinating oddities and unbelievable facts that kept us captivated. The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall enjoyment. It's a perfect destination for families and friends seeking an unforgettable day of wonder and amusement. Ripley's Believe It or Not certainly lived up to its reputation, leaving us with cherished memories and a desire to return for more incredible discoveries.

ZooWorld Zoological Park is a tropical-themed zoo that focuses on conservation. The zoo has 260 animals, including big cats, bears, and apes. It is one of the most interactive zoos in Florida, and it also offers programs and shows for visitors.
Absolutely great place. It's got an awesome mix of interactivity and openness. It seems to be in such a weird location but they make it work and was my favorite part of the week long vacation in Panama.
Kangaroo experience was absolutely awesome. Would have loved to do the fox experience but wasn't in season and available.
Could get up close to quite a few animals and they do a good job keeping it shaded on your walk.
Highly recommend.

This was my second trip to PCB and first time trying ZooWorld. This place is very well kept and incredibly cute. The animals are well kept in this little conservatory. The staff are very nice and happy to answer questions. They shared with us on how they work with the Tampa Zoo and helped raise young. They also explained all of their work with conservation and animal rehab. It is a very family friendly place. You can buy snacks to feed most of the animals. For extra you can have a close experience with one of the animals. We paid to have the experience with a little Joey that was rejected from her mother that ZooWorld was helping to raise. I highly recommend this place as a great break from the beach.

Visiting ZooWorld was the highlight of our trip to FL. We had some chilly/cloudy weather for most of our trip, and wanted to find things to do as a family outside of going to the beach. This was such a treat. The zoo is very clean, and well maintained. The staff of very friendly and helpful. The animals are in some of the best condition that I've ever seen. Very alert and active. Very healthy and notably cared for. I cannot recommend highly enough! Please take your family here. You won't be disappointed.

Overall fun experience. Kids loved feeding the giraffe and birds. Price was pretty much what we figured due to it being a tourist trap. We spend around 2 1/2 hours there. They close at 4, so keep that in mind when planning your day. For $11 you can get a small souvenir cup with food for the petting zoo animals, 2 leaves for the giraffe and 3 budgie sticks for the birds. Adult admission is $26 and 2-12 kids was $20. Of course my kids got caught in the gem mining option and they shared a $25 bag. It’s just your normal stuff but my son did end up with a huge chunk of amethyst that he got excited about. I would say it’s a place you could visit once and it wouldn’t be a place you HAVE to go to again unless you’re just really into it. A lot more closeness with the animals though which was nice.

We had an amazing and wonderful time at ZooWorld. We did the Lemur experience. Our zoo keeper, Whitney, was great. We had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We interacted with the animals, we fed them and bonded with them. Animals were happy and enclosures were super clean. They are doing such an amazing job caring for these beautiful animals. We had a blast and we highly recommend everyone to go visit ZooWorld. Next time we are in town we will definitely go back.
Thank you ZooWorld for the wonderful memories.

This was one of the most precious zoos I've ever been to! They have so many animal encounters that are both informative and enjoyable. You can tell their animals are all well taken care of and happy. We booked the kangaroo experience, and it was so adorable. Someone at the front accidentally overbooked our time-slot, so we didn’t get the complete one on one experience we hoped for. But my son got his and that’s all that matters! The petting zoo is literally the best. All the animals are so gentle and hilarious. I wish this was closer to me so we could go all the time!
Madison Turner — Google review
This is a great zoo that has a more intimate feel than most zoos. It is bigger than it looks, and provides great experiences with different animals. The lemur experience was incredible and left me and my sons with forever memories. Worth a trip if your looking for something to do away from the beach for a couple of hours.
Timothy Pfizenmayer — Google review
This place was wonderful. As you enter the facility you cannot begin to image the depth of what they've accomplished. It is definitely worth the extra money to buy feeding sticks for the birds, and bring extra cash for drinks. The team is entirely friendly and they make sure you are smiling and having fun.

This place was wonderful!! 3rd time in Florida and I refused to leave without holding an alligator. This faculty not only offered a fantastic gator experience but also offered a wide variety of other educational animal experiences. The animals are clearly well treated and the staff were incredible.
My family was lucky enough to experience this park on a slow day and as a result had some quality time with some other beautiful animals as well. The husband got to meet their sloths, I had the pleasure of meeting and holding a beautiful baby Capybara and we all (including my son) were able to hold one of their feisty alligator girls.
Great prices for the encounter all the way around. Would go back in a heartbeat!

There may be a wait when you get to the door but we really didn’t wait long at all. They get people in quickly. Adult admission was $26 per person. Experiences can be quite pricey- $45 per experience per person. You don’t have to pay for the additional experiences BUT you can still feed animals including over 80 alligators, a giraffe, goats, axis deer & there’s an area to feed & hold little birds!! We bought a feed bucket for the alligators & a cup with pellets for the petting zoo animals that came with a few bird seed sticks. So much fun!
Sharlette Sharp — Google review
Absolutely loved this zoo. The staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. We purchased the Lemur, Capybara, and Kangaroo Encounters, and Trey was our Encounter Guide. He did a fantastic job with the animals, provided information on each of the animals and made the experience incredible. I will cherish these memories for a long time. The zoo was clean, shady in areas, and the animal encampments were clean. Enjoyed the petting area where you may feed a 4 year old giraffe. The Budgie encounter was so much fun, they climbed and chewed on your shoes. Highly recommend for any age.
Becky Lipka — Google review
My husband and I come every time we visit PCB and absolutely love it! The lemur encounter is always our absolute favorite, and it definitely did not disappoint this year. The lemurs were so sweet and friendly. We also did the capybara encounter this year, and it was great. They give you food to feed him, and he was so calm and friendly. There are many animals to see, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the animals. I cannot recommend this enough!
Hannah Hulsey — Google review
This zoo is perfect for adults and kids! We had a group of 7 ages 3 to 36 and we all enjoyed ourselves. With such a large group we did not pay for the extra encounters. But we did buy food for the birds, alligators, rabbits, and giraffe. The petting had lots of goats with a few baby ones, a miniature horse, one donkey, and a few deer. The biggest hit was the birds. I could barely get my husband out of the cage! 🤣 We all had a blast! We also got to witness a baby porcupine being born!
Melissa Griffin — Google review
Very sweet and cute zoo. They have a nice range of animals and a lot of them you can pet. I really liked having the opportunity to pet the sloths and hold a baby kangaroo. My favorite parts other than the experiences were feeding the crocodiles and the farm area. All of the animals were sweet (except that sassy llama which I loved). The giraffe was really cute too. I also liked the gem mining bags. Those are definitely worth the money and I’d suggest getting the $25 bag because it comes with all the fossils like shark teeth. When I pet the sloth, Whitney was absolutely amazing. She was very positive and and informative about sloths. The zookeeper that helped us with the Kangaroo was also awesome as well. The staff were all really nice and I could tell that they really care about the animals and love what they do. I also thought it was cool that they have little 3D printing machines that make you souvenirs. We made a lion and a giraffe souvenir. I highly suggest getting those it you go.

Friendly staff. Short wait time to enter. Affordable rates. Highly recommend season passes, they go on sale periodically & they’re so worth it. We are locals, we try to visit monthly!
The animals seem very well taken care of & happy. My son loves the lion, the giraffe, & the alligators! You can pay a few extra dollars for food to feed the animals. They also have experiences you can purchase!
The establishment is clean & there is staff around every corner, if you have questions or concerns! Plenty of shaded areas and benches to rest. Everything is handicap accessible. Tons of parking, including multiple overflow lots.
All of the animals are not out all of the time!!! Sometimes, the giraffe is inside. They have a lion cub that comes out periodically. Some animals may be relocated while their cages are cleaned & cared for.

My family visited here for the first time this summer and had to stop by the zoo! It was very intimate and we were closer to the animals than expected! We loved getting to feed the gators and the lion exhibit was awesome. The gift shop has really cool art and great gifts/souvenir items! Highly recommend for a fun day that’s not centered around the beach!

We highly recommend ZooWorld. We went the week after Memorial Day week. It was still hot and would recommend taking a handheld fan. Our (15 month at the time) loved it! We purchased a couple things of food for the animals and he enjoyed feeding them. The best part was the bird enclosure. He didn’t know what to think at first, but then loved them! He also enjoyed feeding the goats, deer, and Tony the giraffe. We will definitely visit every trip while visiting family. He also saw sloths, porcupines, lions, and many more. Well worth the visit!

We had a fun visit, some attractions were hard to participate due to there being several classes from local schools attending. It is a super cute and well kept zoo. Was definitely worth the visit.
D M — Google review
The Zoo is nice, informative and kept well. I think some of the habitats need attention and seem too small for the inhabitants. I felt to most for the Sloth, and know the organization can do better than that. The parakeet exhibit is top notch.
Annie Hackenberg — Google review
I had a very fun time at this zoo. I saw animals not available at my local zoo, and even got to interact with some. The entrance of the zoo is at the gift shop, where you can purchase personal animal experiences with animals such as sloths, kangaroos, and lemurs. These experiences are pricey, and one thing to be cautious of is that some of the experiences don't allow touching the animal, so you're just paying to see them close up. I purchased the sloth experience and luckily got to pet and feed them. You can also purchase food pellets around the park to feed animals throughout the park. This is a more interactive zoo than the others I have experienced, and recommend it if visiting Panama CIty beach.

Hey there, just had to share my fantastic experience with ZooWorld Zoological Park in Panama City Beach, FL. So, for Christmas, we scored these yearly membership passes, and I've got to say, we're absolutely hooked! Escaping the daily chaos and spending quality time observing the incredible array of animals is such a refreshing break.
From majestic lions and tigers to the intriguing hyenas and towering giraffes like Tony, ZooWorld has it all. And can we talk about the petting zoo? Loads of adorable farm animals to interact with - it's a blast for everyone.
Now, here's the real deal-maker – the animal encounters. Picture this: getting up close and personal with certain animals, even feeding them! Yep, we've had some incredible moments feeding the gators and sharing a meal with Tony the Giraffe. It adds a whole new level of excitement to the visit.
Sure, some enclosures could be a tad roomier, but you can tell the folks at ZooWorld are genuinely doing their best and providing top-notch care for all the animals. It's spick and span every time we visit.
Now, personal faves? Definitely the big cats, the impressive gators, those mischievous hyenas, and of course, Tony the Giraffe steals the show. It's become a go-to spot for quality family time, and I can't get enough.
Living practically in the zoo's backyard is a bonus, but even if you're not neighbors, grabbing those annual passes is a game-changer. If you're an animal lover, ZooWorld is where it's at! I'm even considering volunteering down the line, something I've enjoyed at other zoos in the past. Trust me, it's a gem worth exploring.

Uhhmm, what can I say other than WOW! This is a must do for anyone. You'll be impressed with the admiration and care shown to these big cats by Jim and Bertie. They can tell you anything and everything you could ever want to know about the cats under their care. Go ahead, ask them anything...whatever they don't know, Jim will go ahead and make something up for you (kidding, but he will.) It was a great time and you'll definitely gain a new respect for these cats. When you're face to face with a Mountain Lion offering him up a chicken leg, you'll quickly understand just how big and powerful these cats are. This certainly isn't a walk through the zoo to look at animals in cages! This is a bonified educational experience that teaches you everything you could ever want to know while offering a hands on experience that you will not find anywhere else. You will not be disappointed! Smaller groups or pairs work best (2-3 people)

Visiting the center was the highlight of our vacation. The group size was limited making it comfortable to move as a group to observe the varity of felines as well as hear the educational presentation. The felines are well cared for with clean, good size enclosures. I encourage anyone thinking of visiting Bear Creek Feline Center to do so, it is well worth the cost of enterance. You must prebook, no drop ins.

Bear Creek is the perfect place to visit if you want an experience of a lifetime all the while helping big cats and the wonderful people who care so deeply for them! Jim and Bertie do a great job off welcoming guests, and answering all your questions. To give you an idea of their hospitality, my father and I were greeted with hot coco along with the other guests, we were offered multiple refreshments cookies, and even post tour we had a BLAST talking with them and sharing stories!
These are the people who truly care for the animals, they're dedicated to offering the best care possible, while educating the public about the big cat and wild cat conservation. If you're ever in the area do yourself a favor and visit! Thank you Bertie and Jim for being such amazing people and hearing my reptile ramblings when I visited :)

We volunteered to be interns recently and learned about the new Sanctuary Status designation from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) awarded a year ago allowing Bear Creek Feline Center to be a forever home for Class 1, 2 and 3 animals. They currently house more than a dozen animals. They operate in accordance to all state and federal regulations. Their mission is to educate people about the importance of wildlife conservation and preservation.

Wow, what an amazing experience! This was easily the highlight of our vacation. Jim, Bertie, and their team really made us feel like part of their family, and we interacted with the cats more than we imagined. We learned a lot, and enjoyed the history and knowledge they shared with us. They gave us a deeper appreciation for wild cats, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! We would recommend this to anyone. Thank you BCFC for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

The way they treat them is beyond amazing, with utmost respect and care. During our visit, we had the privilege of observing the wildcats and even interacting with some under controlled conditions. The staff's knowledge and passion were evident throughout the tour. I wholeheartedly recommend this sanctuary for an educational and heartwarming adventure.

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Bertie, Jim, James, and all of the cats at BCFC. The Class 1/2/3 felines are cared for around the clock and anyone can volunteer to assist. I highly recommend stopping by (after calling to set up a visit, of course) for this unique opportunity!

We had such a wonderful and memorable time at Bear Creek Feline Center today! Bertie, Jim, and the entire staff are top notch and have tons of knowledge to share while also making visitors feel at home at the sanctuary. The felines are so very well cared for here, and getting the chance to assist with their feedings, learn about the different species, and get up close to them was incredible. I would highly recommend this educational adventure--simply put, BCFC is run with LOVE : )

You'll be so happy you came here! The cats are so beautiful and so well cared for. They are loved and respected. The owners are so dedicated to these gorgeous and mighty creatures. Very informative crew of volunteers that spend my much time with the resident cats. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!

Absolutely recommend this to everyone! It was an amazing and unique experience to be able to see the cats closely and interact with them. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. Safety is the top priority and you are very safe!
Gulf World is an aquarium that houses a variety of animals, including dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and tropical birds. The aquarium also features animal shows and exhibits, as well as a night show in the Tropical Garden Theatre.
This place is a MUST GO vacation attraction. From the moment you walk inside you are greeted with nature. The birds are out free and not behind glass, they must be trained very well to know not to fly or wander off, or attack customers. It was great to see them up close! They also have the sea lions that will come out every now and then and you’re able to view them from a close range. It was cool to see all of the turtles, fish, alligators, and sting rays too. They even had an employee who held an iguana and allowed for us to touch it! It was a very cool experience. There are open spaces for a picnic, or break from walking. There’s even a kids area where all of the children can go and play. Plenty of signs and back drops for pictures too. They do have a concessions stand inside for food and drinks, it is a bit pricey so I would suggest bringing your own. I did not see a water fountain and it was extremely hot out today so dehydration is a concern when visiting. Please bring a water bottle if you can’t buy anything or don’t want to stand in the long line. The establishment was fairly clean and does have a bathroom and an air conditioned space within the facility. My favorite part about visiting today was the dolphins! The mermaids/trainers are amazing at guiding the dolphins. It was so lovely to see. The program was also very informative while also being entertaining. I would definitely recommend coming here if you haven’t already.

We have never been to Gulf World and thought this time we should check it out while in Panama. I would not ever want to be there during a crowded season. It's a very small place compared to any zoo or aquarium we have visited. Being an off season now when we went it was fine. It was more expensive than for what we could normally get from other experiences at zoos or aquariums but it is still very enjoyable. I liked how you can pay for extra interactions and photos with the animals. We only needed two hours there so it is also good for a stop without it taking up an entire day of your vacation. It was pretty clean also. The dolphin show was fantastic and that's where I consider I mostly got my monies worth so if you don't see it you might as well just wait until you are sure you don't miss that.

I love that this place takes in animals that can not return to the wild! A rehab for the animals but I can’t help to think some of these animals needed to be separated.
I was able to do an encounter with this lovely sea lion Cooper! He did some tricks he hasn’t performed before. I would not recommend some of the tricks for younger kids because he is heavy. However he is a smart sea lion. He was free to go if he didn’t want to do tricks or interact with us. And that’s one reason I really loved this! I also had tons of questions about him and his species and the trainer was very kind and educational! We were only in the pool for about 20 minutes. I wish we could have done more. But I’m glad the staff had some boundaries on what could and could not be done.
The turtles were moved inside the building and they were attacking each other. The sharks in the tank outside were attacking each other as well. I tried saying something but I don’t think there was anything they could do. The shark was trying to tare off the other nurse sharks tail. And they were at it for hours.
There is a touch area for the sting rays where you can pet the top of them. You can also feed them. However there was a customer picking them up out of water many times and laughing at it. Telling his kids to come pet them. The staff members near by didn’t seem to care. Kids were leaning over the wall and one almost fell in. Again nobody seemed to care. I almost ran over to the kid because I thought he was going to fall in and his parents were not paying attention.
The dolphin swim adventure was really cool. You can take pictures with the dolphin and he takes you for a short ride on his belly. The dolphin was treat motivated. I don’t think the dolphin would have participated if he wasn’t getting treats the whole time.
Overall this was a great experience. But a friendly reminder these animals have their own minds and should be respected. Don’t do anything that could provoke them. Listen to the trainers. And please watch your kids.

We had the best time at Gulf World on Labor Day. It was too hot to be on the beach so we took the kids to explore and have fun. My 3 year old was mesmerized by the dolphin show. It was her first time seeing marine life up close. She was so excited to be able to touch a dolphin with the photo opportunity after the show. The reusable souvenir cups were amazing and I love they had 1 dollars refills for the icees. All the staff walking around were kind and helpful. We only ran into one lady at the outdoor food window that acted annoyed and wasn’t the friendliest. Overall, it was a great experience and very educational. I love they talk about reducing waste and recycling to help the marine life. We’ll be back again.
Holly Gray — Google review
We had a nice time in spite of the heat. There were not as many marine animals as we were expecting. The facility is showing it's age, but is well maintained for the most part. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative with the one exception of the obnoxious guy at the photo counter. We booked the morning time from 09:30-1:00 and the first chance to see dolphins was not until 12:30 so we missed it because it was too hot. Overall a nice experience, but not up to par with similar facilities on the gulf coast that charge less for admission.

Love this place so nice great experience over all but the prices are wayyy to high and it’s hard to be able to get a full experience of the place without spending a ton! The place is clean the staff is nice and the animals were incredible. I will be back here for sure and hopefully pricing changes to make it more affordable for families to really experience the animals in a more up close way .. my kids had a great time and loved it here as well.

This place is great if you want to book an animal encounter otherwise not worth the price for just general admission. The website wasn't clear that general admission was INCLUDED in the dolphin encounter so l ended up buying general admission also, that was non refundable. They need to make a change to the wording online. Also the email I received stated that there would be photos "for purchase" after the dolphin encounter yet they were actually included. The dolphin encounter was amazing and such a once in a lifetime experience. The photos didn't turn out that great though. A lot of the photos I received were very over exposed the camera settings need to be changed to correct this issue. There weren’t any areas to change after the dolphin encounter, so I had to change my clothes in a dirty bathroom stall. The rest of gulf world outside of the dolphins was pretty small. The enclosures were also super small for the animals.
Gabrielle Bollerer — Google review
Really great shows! The dolphin show was my 5 year old's favorite. Well done and the animals seem to well cared for. It's a great place to hit up in PCB if you have small ones or are an animal lover.
Jules Hoehn — Google review
Had a pretty good time viewing the animals located at the park. I will say that once you are in the park, everything seems like a money grab. The pictures offered with the animals run $10 a piece and can really add up. We looked at the swimming with the dolphins options, and came close to purchasing the packages. The cost isn’t cheap, but not necessarily super expensive given the opportunity. The only problem I had with the encounter was the banning of any kind of cameras, of course they offer to take pictures for you if you purchase a picture package along with the already pricey activity. The package does not specify how many pictures you get, if more than the singular pics that were offered at the end of each animal program. I just think if I’m paying all that money to swim with dolphins I should at least have to option to bring a water proof camera, ie go pro, to capture this amazing opportunity. Even as an observer to capture my children enjoying the moment. At least admission to the park is included with the cost of the activity. Unless we took part in one of the animal encounters I think the one visit would suffice and would not see a reason to return. Then again the kids and wife enjoyed it so you never know.

My daughter and I enjoyed a girl's day on our vacation here. We could not have asked for better! The shows were amazing and the staff was wonderful! My daughter asked to come back again! It is a very small place but, if you time it right and hit all the shows, you will have the absolute best experience!

Dolphin show, sting rays and sea lion talk were highlights. Much of the time we spent there was self guided and we spent about 3 hours there. Good for a partial day activity but wouldn’t plan on spending more than a few hours. Many options to pay extra for are presented throughout your time there including photo ops, interactions with animals, etc.
Our 4 and 7 year olds loved the sting rays and the dolphin show. I had a hard time hearing the person talking during the dolphin show, which took away from the experience a little. You can tell the trainers and animal care teams truly care about these animals.
Shelly Eberlein — Google review
My family and I had a nice time!! We wished we would have gotten there when they opened as we didn't get to see the encounter with the sea lion. But we did get to see a lot of neat animals. We also got to pet and feed stingrays and see a really neat dolphin show. So overall we had a good time and the kids really enjoyed it
Brittany Barnes — Google review
For an aquarium, I expected to see more fish, especially ones that are local to the area. We did see dolphins, parrots, sting rays and sea lions. There were also penguins and other random enclosures. I would not say this was your typical aquarium. The highlight of our day was definitely the dolphins. It was worth it to see the dolphin show alone.
Alicia Hauna — Google review
What an amazing experience! We did the dolphin royal swim. Everyone I have talked to that has swam with dolphins anywhere else says they just get to touch them and that’s about it… Here we got to swim out in their tank 2 different times and they gave us rides. We also got to enjoy sea lion shows and a dolphin show with our tickets. Highly recommend. This was the best day ever.
I am always hesitant about places like this but ALL of the animals here are very well taken care of and everyone we met were there for the right reasons and their main focus was keeping all of the animals healthy!
Krista Roten — Google review
I’ve been here twice in the last four years and I love it. The park is small but the shows will keep you busy for
3-4 hours. I like how they coordinate the shows so that you get a chance to see them all. I only wish the animal encounters were a little cheaper.
Melinda M — Google review
The entire family, with 10 people voting (5 children under 10), were unanimous that this was not worth the time or money. The dolphin show is the best part of the park and provides good entertainment while also educating attendees on topics of biology and ecology. We expected to see more of this level of care in the other attractions, but that standard was too high. The rest of the attractions are very poorly designed and maintained. Although the staff was friendly, they are stewards of a park where the leadership appears to have stopped caring. The Tropical Garden Theater attraction attempts to entertain the audience with feathered and furry animals performing cute tricks, but the script is slow and the animals at our showing were uncooperative. There was almost no attempt to educate the audience on the animals, their biology, their native habitat, or conservation efforts. Our family has all agreed that we will never go back.

A must do if you are visiting the panhandle. Worth the drive! You could easily spend 4-6 hours here if you wanted to see all the shows and take in all the exhibits. Super impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the entertaining amd educational shows. The Little ones were enthralled by the variety of sea life and exhibits.

The place could use some updating. I am sure they took a hit from the pandemic. Staff very cordial. Biggest ever Veteran's discount. Great variety of creatures and touchable stingrays. Displays are mainly indoors. Easy to find with free parking. Many concessions and the obligatory gift shop. Would be good for a "washout" beach day.

I was not expecting it to be as good as it was! The dolphin show alone was worth the price of admission. I loved the sting rays, the sea turtle, the sea lions. Everything was so interactive and entertaining. Fantastic experience all around!

A lot of cool animals, with quite a few you can get up close to. We had a good time here and would go back again. They didn't have their normal schedule going on the day we went, so can't speak the whole experience. Definitely a good place to take the family. Does look like they need to do some renovations there, but that didn't hinder our time there. We would visit again.

We did the dolphin adventure with my 2 girls one 7 one 3 and it was a pricey but worth it experience. Girls had a blast and the pictures were great and included. As a spectator the seating area is in the sun and the experience area is a shaded area. We are on the beach 30 minutes in the sun won't kill anybody and I have no complaints. Would definitely do it again. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. My only complaint if you want to call it that was we bought tickets for event beforehand and internet says to arrive at 9:15. We did and weren't let in until 9:40 or so. Again little time in the sun won't hurt anybody.

Positives:
The animals are undeniably beautiful, despite the less-than-ideal conditions of their habitats.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the habitats are too cramped for the animals they house, and some of the animals appeared unhealthy.
Even TripAdvisor doesn't recommend this place due to animal welfare concerns.
Food Court:
I tried the chicken nachos, which were standard park fare. Nothing exceptional, but they did the job.
The hygiene in the food court was subpar. A flickering menu on a TV with an exposed cord didn’t inspire confidence. And those paper fans for sale? Well, one had a squished fly underneath. Not exactly appetizing, especially considering it was inside the kitchen.
Bathrooms:
The bathrooms were downright scary. No stalls—just a large room with a toilet. Trash bins propped open the doors, and there were dangling electrical wires. Not the best experience.
Shows:
On the bright side, admission includes a few shows. The bird show stood out—well-trained birds that younger kids will enjoy.
Odd Room:
There’s this peculiar room with nothing but a small disco ball awkwardly tucked into a corner. Oh, and a projector sharing outdated info about a missing lizard. Odd, indeed.
Overall Verdict:
Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place. The treatment of the animals alone is concerning, and when you factor in safety, hygiene, and overall care, it’s best to steer clear.

Fun little park!! Perfect size for young kids and pretty reasonable priced.
Has small exhibits of penguins, alliagtors, and birds. Also has a large pool with a few animals like a nurse shark and large sea turtle.
There was only one sea lion but it was a fun little show with it hopping in and out of its pool and staff sharing other information about sea lions.
We loved the sting ray exhibit, that was the best part!! That was the coolest thing to feed and touch them!
Also enjoyed the dolphin show!! I was impressed with the training as I used to visit sea world when I was young and the dolphin exhibit was comparable to that.
Overall we enjoyed it. Only thing I could add was maybe to update the little playground area.

Do NOT recommend. We were completely floored by the conditions of these poor animals habitats. The sharks’ and huge turtle’s “habitat” was literally just a swimming pool with nothing added to make it look more like their natural environment. I’ve been in backyard pools that were bigger than their home. The sea lions’ habitat was honestly nauseating because it was so small. Again, nothing in their habitat to make it feel an ounce like the ocean or whatnot. The one sea lion looked so depressed. The alligators were just chillin on concrete. Don’t waste your money or time.

Overall a decent experience. Myself and youngest daughter purchased the dolphin encounter. I called before purchasing the tickets and was told as long as she’s 40+ inches tall she’d be able to participate. I had to hold her the entire time, which was fine for me but unpleasant for her. The water was definitely not clear and seemed dirty. I had anticipated the water to be clear/cleaned beforehand because of the photos they’ve posted on their website are clear water. The photos we received were decent. The times to the establishment weren’t clearly stated. Online it stated one time and on their phone line it stated a different time. It’s a decent place to take your children.

We visited on vacation with our kids. Mixed reviews on this one. The dolphin show was incredible. The remaining part of the facility didn’t seem the best from the animals perspective.

Pier Park is a large, busy shopping mall with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The mall is great for people who want to spend the day shopping, eating, and checking out attractions. There are over 120 stores in the mall, including a Grand IMAX movie theater and laser tag.
Amazing visit in PCB! There are so many restaurants, shops, and fun things to do and try! Great for all ages, and right next to the beach! It's a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of swimming, and I must say, the view at night is absolutely divine! You can get a wristband to walk out on the pier at night, and to look back at the lights and listen to the ocean takes you away and makes you feel free. The scenery is amazing, and during the day, the atmosphere is fun and inviting! You'll want to spend a whole day exploring and enjoying everything Pier Park has to offer and you're sure to find plenty of souvenirs to take home!

The 'Sky Wheel' is not your typical 'ferris wheel.' It is worth riding for the views alone. Pay attention at purchase. '3 attractions' is the cheaper option for 3 riders of the wheel. You must check out the free face painting booth! Amanda is amazing & did an awesome job on all 3 faces! She made the girls so happy!! The Aladdin man juggling was pretty neat, too.. & even took the time to let the children learn along beside him.

On a day that seemed to flirt with gloom yet graciously withheld its full embrace, Pier Park in Panama City Beach revealed itself under the nuanced light of spring break 2024. The mercury touched a comfortable 71°, crafting an ambiance that was neither too warm nor too brisk, but rather an impeccable middle ground for leisure and contemplation.
The imposition of a four-dollar entrance fee was an unexpected twist in the narrative of the day. Yet, in the grand scheme of experiences and the memories they bequeath, this modest levy scarcely registered as a grievance. It was, at most, a mere footnote in a chapter filled with the serene beauty of the park and the gentle murmur of the sea.
The park's cleanliness was a silent testament to the conscientious efforts of those who steward its grounds. In a world where the natural and the man-made often clash, here they coexisted in harmonious respect. The absence of litter was not merely a detail but a significant character in the story of the day, reflecting a shared commitment to preserving the beauty and dignity of this communal space.
Awarding Pier Park a four-star accolade is an acknowledgment of its subtle charm and the understated way it provided a backdrop to a day that could have easily tipped into dreariness but instead held a certain luminous quality. The park, with its clean environs and the soft, forgiving light of a clear but overcast sky, served as a reminder of the simple joys that are often overshadowed by grander expectations. In its quiet dignity, Pier Park offered a space not just for recreation, but for reflection, making it a cherished waypoint in the journey of life.

It's a great tourist stop. But we are locals now, and despite being local, we really enjoy coming here. There is a lot of stuff to do for the kids, as a couple, and as a family. The escape rooms are awesome, and Dave and Busters can get crowded, but that's to be expected. There are lots of places to stop and eat, plus the ferris wheel is amazing. When family comes to visit us, this is a great place to take them.

Pier Park is okay. There is plenty to do for all ages. My teenage son and I especially enjoyed the view from the SkyWheel (Ferris wheel), except it is completely overpriced. For example, I paid about $50 total for both of us to ride the SkyWheel for a matter of minutes. For double that price, we could have spent an entire day at an amusement park full of rides, which would have been money better spent.

So much to see and do! It was $4 a person to enter the pier but so worth it. We even saw a dolphin showing off in the water at the end of the pier. There were so many cool shops and wonderful restaurants to choose from. There is something for everyone!

A lot of fun to walk around. A good variety of food choices. The shops are a mix between the expected beach shops and some nicer stores you’d see in your hometown. We rode the Ferris wheel and did the bungee jump. Loved both. I gave it four stars because on Saturday night there were a lot of big trucks coming through revving engines with teens hanging out windows. The vibe changed a little toward a more rowdy feel. Not a huge deal but enough for us to call it quits and head back to the hotel. Aside from that, it was really family friendly.

Camping, hiking, picnicking & bird-watching plus rare trees & plantation home tours high on a bluff.
Wow, highly recommend for camping. The campground sits on the highest ground, and views abound. Suggest camp sites on the west or north end as the speedy drivers like to kick up lots of dust. The hiking trails are very nice. Be sure to visit the Gregory House gift shop for very nicely priced T shirts and other items.

My family and I spent two nights here at the campground. The park is a great place to visit if you enjoy hiking and history. We hiked some of the trails including the Weeping Ridge to the waterfall- small by any standard but still really cool to see in Florida. Be careful, there are copperhead snakes; I nearly stepped on one. The trail to the Confederate earthworks was neat to see.
If you are not into hiking or history, I would probably give this park a miss. Most of the trees were destroyed in the hurricane a few years ago, so it is lower brush still with some trees.
There are tours given at the plantation house at 10AM on weekdays and other times on the weekend (sorry, I didn't catch those times). We really enjoyed it and it was a bargain at $3 a person.

We stayed in the Cracker Cabin at Torreya — super cute one bedroom on one side with a queen bed (yes a bit to soft but not bad) with a window unit and portable heater (heater worked great on coldest day in Florida ) the middle is a screen patio which on the right side of it is another Pom but has two bunk beds with a unit a/c unit and portable heater - not sure about the beds as we did not sleep in it. Back porch view of woods and nice sunrise - has a fire pit - only bad thing is there is another camping spot super close however no one was there so not sure if they book it.
Lots of hikes and state parks in area - no gas station or food venues near

Torreya State Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Florida. The park offers a unique and diverse outdoor experience, with its stunning bluffs, pristine river, and lush forests.
Hiking trails are abundant, catering to both novice and experienced hikers, and the views from Torreya Bluff are simply breathtaking.
The park's campground is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whether you're into bird-watching, kayaking, or simply enjoying nature, Torreya State Park is a must-visit destination.
It's a peaceful and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

What a great hike experience. No flat Florida here. Lol! The Apalachicola River was beautiful. There is remaining damage from Hurricane Michael but that is an education and does not take away from the adventure. The stone bridge was cool. Missed out on seeing the waterfall because we ran out of daylight, shorter winter days. Great park. We'll definitely go again
JL Walker — Google review
Torreya State Park is tucked away by itself and has a smaller campground at only 29 sites, and it's part of what makes it a great place to get away.
Small and remote means peace and quiet. The sites aren't very private, but there aren't many and folks seem to keep to themselves.
The bathrooms are small but decent and well-maintained, and there are 30-amp electric and water on each site. Another nice feature is a very clean laundry area. It only has one washer and dryer, but the campground is small enough that doesn't seem to be a problem.
Nearby trails, some accessible right from the campground, also make this a good spot to use as a basecamp if you want to get out and explore some of Florida's natural beauty. Also, Gregory House is an 1850s plantation home that you can visit for a guided tour and is within walking distance of the campground.

We absolutely love this State Park. We live in western New York but enjoy travelling, camping and hiking throughout the U.S. We visited this park about 15 years ago and this year we decided to come back. There have been dramatic and devastating changes in the park since we were last there because the park is located within a path frequented by intense storms in the last decade, including Hurricane Michael in 2018, which damaged all of the forests in the park. Despite these challenges, park staff have made amazing efforts to make sure that park visitors can safely visit as much of the park as possible. The campground is great, with spotless bathrooms and water and electric outlets in most sites. We stayed in one the two yurts, which offer a delightful deck with a picnic table, a campfire ring and a gorgeous view into the adjacent forested ravine. We went on the 6-mile challenge hike and were impressed with the work the park has done to make the trails passable despite the many trees that fell during the hurricane. We thought the trail was great as it meandered back and forth through so many beautiful and interesting plant communities giving the hiker a real sense of adventure. Some of the bridge crossings over small streams still need to be repaired and may look intimidating but this 64-year old woman with advanced arthritis in both knees had no trouble getting across any of them. If you don't like an adventure, however, this might not be the best trail for you as stated in the park's description of the trail. We found all of the park staff to be friendly, helpful and hardworking. Please thank them for all they do if you have the chance.

We stayed here 2 days in April 2022. We liked the campground. It is small and quiet. Several of the sites are quite narrow. The one we were in we barely were able to get our slide and awning out. They were separated from the adjoining site by established bushes and trees. This made it difficult to back the camper in. (Our camper is long 37 ft.) When reserving look carefully at the pictures to see if you will fit. There is no sewage onsite but a decent dump station about 1/2 miles down from the campground. It had a cool CCC built registration building. There are old but clean bathrooms and shower facilities. There were lots of hiking trails but we didn't get to explore any. We would come back.

I love this place! Best hiking in Florida. Limestone rock outcroppings for fishing. It's remote and peaceful and lovely. I have heard owls and coyotes in the distance at night. We have seen wild boar and deer. On a dark, clear night, you can see the milky way. Be warned the amenities are pretty basic, which is lovely for me, but not for everyone.

Website says one of the trails is 6.7 miles. Turned out to be 7.83 miles. Also said it was a moderate hike. It was a hard hike and a challenge for me. Beautiful but challenging.

Small small rustic campground with the basics but nice and clean inquiry Google did not show where the gate was at was about 2 miles off. no real check in go to your spot, go by the office on a table should be your pass for your parking, otherwise see the campground host.

Beautiful historical place. Conferate battles and supply area. Extremely rare tree only found in China, California and this only location. We visited the Caverns and Waterfalls on the same day.

Unique state park with interesting trails and great views. It's probably best to visit before the warm weather.
Unusual terrain for FL.

The trails behind the Gregory House are the best. Go down one trail and walk beside the river and back up the other trail to return to the Gregory House.

It was a nice experience. I personally love the outdoors. My fiancée is a true Miami guy and he even enjoyed it himself. It was a nice walking trail and the cabin was nice and cozy. For those of you who don’t know, bring your own fitted sheets, pillow & blankets. There is a fire pit which you are able to use freely, they ve firewood available on site along with ice for less than $5 (bring cash as it’s cash only). The registration office is always open and there are games and movies located inside along with a small gallery of informational stuff. At night if you sit outside you can see a million starts and you could even hear all the animals. There was also a little playground available on site.
Things recommended to bring for first timers
1. Towel for when you shower
2. Shower sandals
3. Body Wash / Soap
4. Pillows
5. Fitted Sheets (I used a queen size)
6. Blanket to cover yourself
7. Fire Log
8. Stuff for s’mores !
(Don’t forget the stick for the marshmallow (We ended up getting one of the garden stakes at dollar tree to use))
9. Bug spray
10. Sunblock
11. Shoes !
12. Coal if you want to use the bbq grill
13. A cooler with ice in it !
14. Water
15. Sandals/crocs to put on easily when you want to walk around the campsite & to go to the bathroom !
16. Hat to protect you from the sun when you’re walking on the trails
17. A neck fan if this is your first time and you’re not sure how you’ll deal with the Florida heat
Something that is optional also is a walking stick, it is not needed but recommended. my fiancée had an easy time going down but going up he wished he had one
You are not along at night either, there is a ranger on duty and you will be provided a number to his/her cell phone & landline.
Great time kayaking. 20-30 mins from Panama City and the springs were really pretty. Kids loved it and that makes it worth every minute.

I had never been to Econfina before and I have only lived an hour and a half from it for over 30 years. We all had planned this trip as a group six months prior when we were canoeing down Black Water. I was SO excited and couldn't wait.
The check in went GREAT 😃. Extremely nice office staff. Also the gentleman who helped us pick out our canoe. I always canoe with my best friend, but he won't even let me have a paddle, so I have to have my beach chair so I can indulge in a little "Cleopatra Syndrome", as I call it, so he found a canoe for us that my chair fit in, along with a lot of extra leg room for me. He was awesome.
Econfina Creek is simply breathtaking! However, I had hoped to see more springs. The two that we saw, we saw as we were taken away by the current and it was too hard to paddle up the creek so we could stop. Might I suggest signs? Signs BEFORE you get to that point like signs on a highway and a BIG sign right before you are upon it. Not only will more people get to see them, but the signs will boost the anticipation of the springs and more people will return no matter how long the drive is.
The length of the trip is about 10.2 miles, which was AMAZING, and there are barely any beaches to stop at, which means that it is almost all paddling and the scenary is freaking BEAUTIFUL!! I wouldn't say that the trip is too long by any means because due to the beauty of the creek, I didn't want it to end when it did.
We all, (over 20 of us), simply LOVED our outing at Econfina Creek and we will definitely be back, and soon. Definitely going to tell everyone I know about it.
Thanks for everything!!

This place was amazing. The staff was super chill and laid out where all the springs were, what to expect, how to get picked up and the time it takes from launch to the end. All the reviews who say otherwise probably didn’t pay attention or don’t have common sense. There’s literally a white board with everything you need to know directly behind the counter, if you didn’t get told by mouth from their employees, READ. it’s that simple. This place was beautiful and we stopped at all 5 springs. Super fair price and already have friends planning to come here after seeing my Snapchat stories. Will always recommend you guys. MAKE SURE YOU BRING GOGGLES. LOTS OF ROPE SWINGS along the way.

So much fun! The creek is wide, the water is cold and deep. There are a bunch of places to stop and get out if needed. Canoe rentals were affordable and the staff was super friendly. We will be going again!

The river trail and pools were amazing. Our experience with staff wasn't the best. Parking is awful. The directions given for pick up were incorrect. They don't tell you to bring shoes which is a must to reach the springs. The springs have no signage from the river so you would miss them easily.

Beautiful clear water springs all along the float, highly recommend. Water feels so much better than the ocean in august!

I recently tried the Econfina Creek Canoe Rental instead of the usual public launches. It is a very convenient launch, and does not feature the steep banks or stairs that the public launches have. It is a quality launch, the rental operation, not so much.
We brought our own kayaks, PFDs, whistles etc. and strictly wanted to park and use the launch. I figured there would be a minimal charge ($5 or something), but they charged us $30 to launch. We paid this, and we told them we would be back late, did not need a ride and they assured us this would be no issue. This is an insane launch price; to put it in perspective, King's Landing, one of the jewels of Florida kayaking, rents single kayaks for $49/4 hours. Not sure how they are charging almost the same fee to launch as an Orlando destination rental spot...
The second star is strictly for the launch, the rental operation gets 1 star.
We returned to the launch around 6 or 6:30, to find the launch chained off, with the owner showing up yelling at us, demanding a late fee. We informed him that we paid to launch OUR vessels, used none of their property, did not need a ride and communicated this all to the rental guy earlier in the day. The owner called the guy who assisted us earlier, only to be told he didn't remember us-despite having a pleasant 40 minute conversation and exchanging info and names. I might be forgettable as a person, but my kayak is not. I don't think there were many green, motorized kayaks with wheels that day, and I did not appreciate the rental guy lying to the owner to save face for HIS miscommunication.
I think if you are just renting a canoe or a kayak, this place would be fine. However I was very disappointed to pay $30 to launch (considering many comparable counties have $25 ANNUAL launch/ramp passes) and then be yelled at and asked for more money upon returning. We were very supportive and appreciative of this place, and eager to support an up-and-coming kayak business, and the launch was indeed pleasant. I think there is some miscommunication between management and the landowner, but I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking to launch their own kayak.
I won't be back.

Great trip. Staff was available when we checked in. Very short portage to get boat in water. The water was clear and clean. The canoes were in great shape. The river had lots of stops at springs and plenty of places for photo opportunities. Wide and calm so great for family's or larger groups. Reasonable prices for renting. I would stage a vehicle at the end to avoid waiting for shuttle or arrange for your own ride to speed up the process the staff at the end to receive the canoes made it easy. Would definitely go again.

Just an absolute awesome place to visit with friends and family! We have been twice in one year and love it. Although the past hurricanes have damaged a lot of the tree that overshadow the river, just dive in to one of the natural springs to be refreshed! Staff is very friendly and the ride back is short and sweet. A definite visit if you are in the surrounding Panama area.

They dont have any dogs . It is very sad. They have live poker cards. No blackjack. Just Texas hold, duchess is wild, Jack's are better . The bartender was super sweet and very nice. He made my night. They are awesome people works there this place is a must go to.

We love to play 3 card. We called the number to make sure they would open a table before we made the hour and a half drive. We called 3 times and no one answered.
We decided to go anyway. We got there and I politely asked the so called manager if she was going to open a table. She rudely said no and that they didn’t have enough dealers.
I told her we tried to call 3 times and no one answered. She told me that we didn’t call and that they had been near the phones all night!!!
Unbelievable. A lot of the dealers were rude too.
They all need a lesson in customer service.
Will never go back

Great Wednesday $120 NLH tournament. I like the 9-per-table format. Good dealers, nice staff, reasonable concessions. Only complaint is one of the elevators wasn't working. That will improve as the renovations continue, I'm sure. I had a great time, and wish KC had something like this.

I’ve been playing poker here since they first offered it in the late 90’s. It has come a long way since then. Since 2017 I play on average about 1000 hours of poker here every year. I also travel and play poker all over the United States. Comparing Ebro to all of the other rooms I have played I can make pretty reasonable comparisons.
1. Poker action: maybe the best in the nation. Texas is close.
2. Dealers: some of the best dealers I’ve ever sat at a table with work here. As with any room there is a range. But I’d put this staff as a unit up against any room in the country on average.
3. Food: all of the food is good. It’s expensive. But it’s good. And the wait staff are amazing.
4. Facilities: this is the main shortcoming. Old building. Disrepair in places. Hot in the summer. Sometimes cold in the winter. I mean it’s a really old building and that shows. What I will say is that the staff have no control over this. And the staff does an amazing job of being generally professional, courteous, and pleasant while working under those same conditions. So kudos to them.
If you like action games, professional dealers, pretty good food, and a night of poker, Ebro is as solid of a place as anywhere in the US. Their facilities being the only shortcoming I’d mention. Hopefully soon the owner will invest into what could be an amazing poker room that rivals any in the world.
Look forward to seeing you at the tables!

I drove 425 miles from Orlando Florida to go to an audition to deal near poker room on January 17th the same day so by the time I got there I had already been in the car for nearly 7 hours I was greeted with Keith and to other staff members sadly enough they said that I failed the audition I felt that I did the best that I could and I know I can deal deep down but they felt otherwise although they were very nice and cordial they would not give me a chance to go on the floor I mean imagine driving near your 1100 miles in one day to go to a poker room to try to have a chance to deal I know I could deal but when you're driving that many miles in one day nearly 7 hours it's almost impossible anybody can forget what you do know and I felt that I could have been given an opportunity maybe to get my skills brushed up or at least give it an opportunity to try to see if I could do the job maybe by working behind the scenes a little bit but they wouldn't even do it it was almost like I was set up to fail and I'm very heartbroken and sad to know that I will never get a chance to deal other than that the poke room was very clean everybody was well-dressed it was a really nice place honestly so that you're in Panama City I would check it out it really is a very nice place overall and had a casino type atmosphere but the fact is the way that audition went down it's no surprise that things went down the way they did and I don't think they really understood what I had to go through to get there and if they would have just given me a chance to deal a little bit I'm sure I would have done an excellent job but to drive all that way very disappointing and heartbreaking and I guess I'll never get a chance to work at any program ever again

This is a nice place to go and enjoy. They have dog races here which you can watch and you can bet on them as well. They have cheap beers here so I am assuming other alcohol they sell is cheap as well. They also have a poker room here which is good. 60 dollars is the minimum buy-in. They also have poker tournaments here and couple other games to play

This scenic park with a campground & cabins is host to activities such as hiking, fishing & boating.
Spot #4 is really nice! Not much for evening shade but that's more an issue from hurricane Michael October2018. Recovery is ongoing. Facilities are very very clean. Only 31 sites and one cabin. We'll maintained trails. Unfortunately, all the roads are a minefield of potholes and erosion. You travel 2 total miles of this to get to the campground. This was a complaint 3 years ago in reviews, and hasn't changed here in Oct 2022. Very quiet and secluded,,,,no real road noises. Pretty hidden gem less than 10 miles off interstate 10!

We stayed here in April of 2022. This is a nice small campground right on the shore of Lake Seminole. We have a 38 foot trailer and we were able to maneuver pretty well into our spot. (not all sites are that big) We used the campground as a jump off spot to kayak some of the clear springs in Jackson and Washington Counties. The town of Snead's that it is in is small but has gas stations a small grocery store and of course a Dollar General. 😁 The park was very quiet and when we were there the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. There are only two times a day the park Rangers we're at the registration building (9am to 9:30 and 4pm to 4:30 oh and that is Central time zone). The only downside was the road coming in was very rough in spots and the don't have onsite sewage. (They do have a very nice dump station and for the price it is a great deal overall.) We would definitely stay here again.

Our likes were the daily doses of wildlife that included cardinals, blue jays, coots, northern mocking birds, limpkins, armadillos, and deer; the park was well-hidden and peaceful; and we were impressed with how well maintained the restrooms were. Our only dislike was our site (#26) accumulated a puddle after each rain storm.

Absolutely 5 stars. I almost don't want to leave a review because it was such a fantastic experience and there were VERY few other people there... all of them were on the water, so I had the trails to myself, which was fantastic. Mostly enjoyed the trail hugging the lake shore, but the higher-elevation trails were also very cool, where I encountered several red-headed woodpeckers, a bald eagle, many other birds, tons of butterflies, and a few deer bounding across the trails. Several picnic benches dotted the lakeside trail - so nice to just sit and observe while the butterflies flitted around me. Highly recommend if you like a little seclusion on your nature walks. (Photo is a black vulture... didn't get a good shot of the bald eagle)

We drove from north Texas to Chipley, Florida just to have a moment with these beautiful animals! I fell in love with wolves and am dedicated to learn more about them and even though I like to think I have a lot of knowledge about wolves, I still learned something new during my visit! Barb and Annette were great guides and good company and Lindsey was also great helping us to schedule the visit! The wolves weren’t forced into any situation they didn’t want to be in. Some wolves wanted to jump on us while others just wanted to lay in the sun and put their head on my lap. All in all it felt like a very personable experience and I hope if I come to Florida again I can make a habit of visiting Seacrest Wolf Preserve and supporting their cause!

I purchased the VIP tour for my wife and me. We had an amazing time at the preserve, the wolves are beautiful, the staff is very knowledgeable, and the property well-maintained. Would recommend the experience to anyone. Only issue was the organization. The cost for the two-hour tour was nearly $600 and you cannot bring in any watches to keep track of time. The staff should do a better job of that. We were only able to visit 3 out of 5 enclosures because we were promptly escorted out at the exact moment we hit the two hour mark. Our guide told us "you only have two minutes left and it would take longer than that to get into that enclosure." So we could only walk over and look at those wolves through the fence. If they get a little more organized, the tour would be perfect and more than worth the cost.

What an amazing place to cool off. The longer you can hold your breath the better experience. The spring is a large cavern under the diving board of the swimming hole. Nice place to get wet in the clear water. There is a covered area to swim with kids. Diving area is good too. There is entry fee including parking for 5 year and older. You can rent kayaks for very less amount onsite to explore the spring. We tool a kayak and went 3 on that for a spin. It also includes the life vest for safety. Though the water is full of algae, we could still see the bottom and fish swimming. I would definitely recommend visiting this place. It is similar to Wakulla but here you can have the kayaks. There are motor boats as well but I am not sure if it was for rent or people have their own boats taken there. Restrooms are clean and there is showers as well outside. You can grab some food and drinks as well there. Staffs are very friendly and helping. Definitely visit more.

Fun for the family. Cash or check only. $4 per person entry. Bring chairs, pop up tent, and your cooler for a full day of fun. There are benches and picnic tables scattered throughout. The water is clean and chilly, very refreshing. They have Kayak rentals $10 an hour. The kids loved paddling around and exploring outside of the swim area. Restrooms available. This is a neat place with tons of potential!

It was seasonally closed to the public but i was able to reach it by kayak. I found the whole pond (merritt's hill pond from public launch to blue springs ) to be grass-choked by seemingly excess fertilizers causing an noticeable overgrowth of algae choking its natural tall grasses and floating algae debri from all that overgrowth. The Blue springs is part of this ecosystem and not exempt from this same malaise.
I rated 1 star bc as a park, its administration needs to be part of solving this issue. I presume the agricultural activity around these lands is the main contributor to it. Also notoced very perfectly green lawns surrounding the pond..usually helped by fertilizers too.

Definitely the place to be to cool off in the summer heat! Water was cold but invigorating! I've lived in Jackson County for over 20 years and had to see for myself what the deal was, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful place for family gatherings and friendly hangout ❤️

We had so much fun! Will be bringing the kayaks next time!! Water is so cold but refreshing. Bring goggles! Diving board over the natural spring! Also an old school slide. Bring chairs, snacks and a tent if you have it and stay for the whole day!! We will definitely be going back!!

Very brutally cold water in the cave. But such a beautiful place!
They have amenities for changing and restrooms. They have rentals for kayaks and they sell food too. Staffed with lifeguards, though they could stand to pay a bit more attention to the swimmers! Overall I am very excited to have visited and the 4$ per person entry fee is cheap. The water is amazingly clear and despite there being lots of people I still loved it.
Underground caves offering guided tours, plus trails & freshwater springs.
My family and I visited here last weekend on May 23rd 2022. We had never been here, as well as never even knew Florida Caverns State Park existed but had the best time doing the cave tour with our Tour Guide Tim. Also the Owls and the museum were really neat to see. I definitely recommend this place as it was a family fun place. We'll definitely be coming back to do the Cave Night Tour as well as some of the nature trails and get to experience what we couldn't on our short day trip!! 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend. Kid friendly.

Breathtaking scenery! Took the family out to explore Florida Caverns and drove few hours to come here. It was well worth it! It really is an amazing experience. Everyone in our family (2 adults 3 children) was super impressed with this visit. We purchased our tickets online. For five people we paid $36-$37 and there’s $5 state park access fee per vehicle. Our tour guide Mia was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun. She walked us through the entire cave and took the time to explain how it was discovered, what it represents and shared many more insightful information. Humidity level is very high inside the cave thus, I recommend wearing something active and comfortable. Also there are many low clearance paths along with stairs and puddles filled with water so it’s also recommended to wear appropriate shoes that are comfortable and yet provide good protection and grip. There are some low clearance points inside the cave where if you’re a tall person you need to really duck down to avoid hitting your head. If you have knee or back problems you may find this activity to be a bit challenging though. You can bring your own cameras and take as many pictures as you want even with camera flash. Overall it’s a great experience. I highly recommend visiting this hidden natural treasure to everyone.

Our family really enjoyed the tour with our guide Tim! Kids from 5-7 enjoyed it. It was hot outside but cool in the cavern! A 1 hour tour. The gift shop was reasonably priced. Will go again. There was a beautiful swimming hole towards the back of the park. Wonderful experience.

I had a very fun time here; not only are there the cavern tours, but there is also a campground, small museum, and walking trail in the park too. I had fun on the cavern tours and they were definitely worth it. I saw a deer on the walking trails, and it was really cool; however, I also saw a Northwest Florida rattlesnake on the walking trail and almost stepped on it. The walking trail is also very rocky and somewhat difficult. Not ideal for children or disabled folks. That combined with the rattlesnake leaves it with a 4 star review instead of 5.

Very pretty and the tour guide was very educational and friendly and funny. Only down side for the day tour is that it's rather short/small cave. Other then that it's fun. The tour isn't free of course so expect to pay.

Steele is a good tour guide. My grade-4 class loved our caverns tour, the souvenir shop, and the museum. We were fortunate to have perfect weather.

A very nice visit to the Caverns. It might be challenging for tall people as there are several places the height is four feet, and a few places the width is two feet. The staff were all kind and helpful.
There are a few places that feel a little tight, but it still feels pretty open. Being wet and dark, it's can be slippery, but your guide will remind you where those spots are.

Visiting Florida Caverns State Park was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into the caverns, we were amazed by the stunning geological formations and the rich history they hold. The guided tour was informative and engaging, providing insights into the formation of these natural wonders. The park’s above-ground attractions, like hiking trails and picnic areas, were equally impressive, offering beautiful scenery and opportunities for outdoor recreation. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the park. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply looking for a memorable adventure, Florida Caverns State Park is a must-visit destination. Can’t wait to return and explore even more!

We added this stop on our road trip and so glad we did. It was a reasonably priced great stop for our family. We went on an hour tour with Lou through the caves , it was beautiful and the tour was unique and informative! The pictures don’t really do it justice, and the gift shop was well stocked and offered ice cream and snacks . We were towing a trailer and had room for us to be able to park. This isn’t far off the interstate so be sure to add it to your Florida trip!

Very fun!! I took my boyfriend here because he has never been in a cave and we had a nice time! It was cool inside the cave so it’s a fun way to explore nature while staying out of the sun. Our tour guide was extremely lively and made lots of jokes. At one point they turn off the lights for a few seconds. They also let the kids play with the buttons which seems fun for small children. Overall a good time!

What a cool experience! Our tour guide, Honeybee, was so knowledgeable and funny. The caverns were huge and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. We also hiked Bluff Trail to Tunnel Cave, which was another great experience. We ended the day with a dip in Blue Hole Spring, which was so refreshing.

This place was beyond words to describe. Something that I would not expect ever to be in Florida. Spent the entire day and a half at this park alone. There's more places nearby just as beautiful to visit. Looking forward to another trip up there. Highly recommended to visit.

The Park staff was very well organized and the park tour guide was very friendly and interesting. It's a great place to bring kids to awaken their exploratory spirit and it's overall a beautiful cave system that's is definitely worth of visiting. I suggest 3-4 h stay time including the 1 h + tour as this park has a lot to offer.

Fabulous park! Caverns are awesome, tour guides are informative. Would be nice if they offered a senior discount. Brand new roads. Signage is adequate. Rebuilding after hurricane. Never here, b4, so I can't compare. Kayak launch, horse camp, primitive camp, group camp, rv camp, with all connections, Inc. sewer spring fed " blue hole" year around 62 degrees. Well planned park.

The Caverns were awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He was very engaging throughout the entire tour and really made our experience much better. There were a few tight spaces, but the cavern is really easy to go through. I'm 6'2, and on the large side, and I was able to get through it easily.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The young lady in the gift store is a blessing to everyone she meets.
We stayed at the campground, which is very well kept. Sites are spacious with a hard gravel surface, full hookup, fire pit, large picnic table, and a place to hang your hammock. The bathhouse is kept clean with a laundry right there.

Amazing place. Worth the drive if your on east coast of Florida or middle. At end of parking lot first go to a trail near a dirt road. Walk down about 300 yards and there is a very cool tight cave to go through. Noone seems to know about it unless you hike a small loop trail. Enjoyed the learning about the place.

Tucked away off the beaten path, just Northwest of the state capital Tallahassee. This state park, like most all Florida State Parks is very well groomed and maintained. It was mandatory to purchase the " guided " tour in order to access the caverns. Which we thought was a bit pricey. 53$ for four. Inside the caverns is a magical place that takes you back in time. The stalagtites and stalagmites were amazing to see knowing they have been formed over the course of earths history. The Florida Caverns are a great example of the complexity and beauty of our planet.

What an awesome park, the history behind it, and the Cave tour wow! We were here for 4 days camping and loved it. The facilities at our campsite were great. Bonus points for the washer and dryer!
The cave tour was way more fun than I expected. We did the 2 hour night tour with our 3 kids aged 6,8, and 4 they loved it. Honey bee / Joni was incredible she was so knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun. I just loved her spirit, passion. She truly loves what she does, and made this experience for our family unforgettable. The caves themselves were very big, and impressive with their beautiful formations and the history behind how it was all made to be accessible to the public well that was a story of its own. Would recommend as a great family spot to check out. We will definitely return and be recommending to our family and friends.

We love Florida State Parks. This is one that we have not visited before. We only had a few hours to burn and we visited the caves. So worth visiting if you are short on time or have the whole day to spend. There is camping available at this park.

Nice park for hiking and a visit to the carverns is a must if you are here. They do charge $15 per person for 45 minute guided tour. I do not think you can go into the cave unless you are on the tour. The caverns are great. Plenty of lighting. Some uneven floor and some steps. Also there are several very low ceilings, so if you are taller then that is a little more of an issue. Just need to duck or crouch down. No place do you need to crawl. The cavern formations are spectacular and still actively growing. Outside the caverns, there are some nice hiking trails. The trails are not very difficult, so great for kids. Dogs can use the hiking trails on leash. No dogs inside the caverns.

This was just such wonderful, wonderful experience. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the whole OK because it was flooded so we only had half a tour but what we saw was so interesting and beautiful. we went on a hike around there and it was kind of rough walking it. Lots of rocks and stumps and it was challenging for me, but I made it but if you’re handicap I would not recommend it. They have a small museum and a gift shop. Was a great fun day

I wish i was able to explore on my own, but I understand that the limited self-control of the populus prohibits me from experiencing such wonders freely and without supervision.
It's a neat cave. It's not super big, and it costs about $16 for a tour. I probably won't go back . They do have other trails that i did not check out that don't cost money, but you have to pay an entry fee to enter the park.

Scenic state park & hiking area featuring a waterfall, sinkholes, campsites & a small lake.
Quiet and pretty campground with clean restrooms and showers. Spots are a bit snug but our 35 foot 5ver fit fine.
Trails to the water are nice and the picnic area at the pond is well kept and pretty.
The road to get in is a bit steep up and down but not as bad as it looks once you drive it.

Very lovely place to camp. There are hiking trails, a swimming lake, sand volleyball court, horseshoes and waterfalls to experience. There is a swing set at the campground and a bigger playground at the beginning of the hiking trail area. Bathrooms are nice and clean with several showers and a family shower area. There is electricity and water, a fire ring, and a picnic table but no cooking grill at any of the sites. Very shaded and cozy.

We stayed at Falling Waters State Park Campground for one night on our way west out of FL. Upon arrival we wished we had planned on a longer stay. Shortly after arrival they had a bad storm move over the panhandle, so we only had a few hours to explore. There is plenty more to do in this beautiful park.
The campground is secured and very well maintained. The gravel sites are level. All sites have power and water hook ups. The bathrooms/showers look very new. The garbage dumpster and dump site is close but not to close.
The camp host actually came around to warn each camper that there was a tornado watch issued for our county and that we should run to the bath house if we needed to.
We will stay again if in the area. Oh yeah, the price was very affordable.

This is such a beautiful state park. The sites are easy to get in and out of and the campground is clean. I only stayed for an over night stay so I didn't get to see the waterfall but I will definitely be back!

Falling Waters is a stopover more than a destination. If you need an overnight close to I-10 in the Panhandle, this is a good choice. Campground is nestled in a pine forest with clean bathhouse, dishwashing station, fire ring, picnic table, 48 over-the-air TV stations. One bar Verizon. Site 17 is large and fairly level, but no footpath to bathhouse or trash. Stretch legs from long drive with boardwalk to waterfall overlook. Butterfly garden is newly planted with no flutters in sight. Peaceful retreat for panhandle rest.

We drove nearly 2 hours to check out this waterfall after feeling cooped up inside after our college closed during Covid 2020. I was honestly underwhelmed and a bit disappointed at the waterfall itself. It was advertised as the Florida’s largest / longest waterfall but when we saw it, it was just a meager stream falling 70 feet. Regardless, we had a great friend-reunion and it was a fun walk for the dogs and exercise for us. The area is mostly flat.

Ventured here before the Florida Caverns state park, and it was worth the stop. It's a smaller park, but the area is pretty, and the waterfall was flowing after overnight rains. The area is ADA accessible so it's a nice paved trail down to the waterfall. That area is actually in the central time zone, so we got an extra hour to check it out. It's a nice park to check out if you're in that area.

Very well maintained, all of the trails aren't quite open, but they do have a detour to get to the lake, the walk to the falls is really short, very easy to do in 30 minutes or less. The water fall was labeled moderate and was very beautiful!

Great Brewery. The vibe here is just so nice. Rarely experienced in other breweries. Been there on a wednesday afternoon, not much going on, so I can’t speak about weekend experience. But the atmosphere and the guy (from Colorado, dunno his name) behind the counter made it a very nice afternoon. AND they have brew dog 🐕, his name is Buddy. They got RV parking, a beermergency and a chopper (drop beer not bombs). Ill be back next time when I am in the area. Cheers 🍺

The brewery itself offers VERY good craft beer from dark ales to blonde ales to sours Their gift shop has reasonably priced T-shirts, caps, koozies and other trinkets. The restaurant set-up is a bit odd, it’s one restaurant part of the week and another restaurant the rest of the week (see pictures).
The food is standard pre-prepped deep fried bar food, but its pretty good. They do have live music, and a great play area for kids that is all fenced in. The music is not too loud and it really does PROMPTLY stop at 10:00 PM.

We FINALLY got to come drink and eat at Folklore Brewing and Meadery and SOO glad we did! This is quite the experience and folks living near by are fortunate to have this nearby. We enjoyed our beers, tried some of the mead beverages and especially enjoyed our dinners. The menu pix are included - I’ve been trying to find out what’s likely on the menu for awhile. Yes, you can actually eat a real dinner. We enjoyed Boudin Balls (if you are a spicy wimp, be careful with the tasty, but way zingy remoulade!), the gumbo was delish (light on chicken and sausage), the grouper basket was
very tasty! We will be back on our next swing thru
the area.

We stayed overnight in our RV in July of 2023, as part of the Harvest Hosts program.
The Brewery is fun. Nice atmosphere. A number of places to sit inside, as well as outside. We got a couple of drinks and some chips and spinach and artichoke dip. The drinks and food were both good. They sell some merch and drinks that you can take home, including mead.
As for staying through Harvest Host, it went smoothly. We went inside and spoke with the bartender. He came out and showed us where to park. We did have electric, but don’t remember how many amps. The parking was in the grass. It was pretty flat. It was also quiet overnight.
Great stay and we would definitely recommend this place.

We spent the weekend it is very nice secluded camp, the staff could not have been nicer. I have stayed at many campgrounds and this one is one of the best.
They have a very nice going for, nice outdoor area, and the camper/RV sites are well done, good power, good water and sewer. It is not a big party camp and the crowd was much more quiet and Saturday night potluck was a joy.
We will definitely be going back again.

I have been camping for years, and i have been to many camp grounds, but this one really set it's self above everyone. As soon as I got there The owners made me feel very welcome. Gregg made sure I had a really good spot to set up my tent. After I got all settled in, I walked up the club house and was introduced to some of the other campers. No one was rude, or made me feel like i was a outsider. Everyone at the camp group visitor and owners alike made me feel like for the first time in my life I could be myself and have fun.
The weather was wonderful as well, even though the first day was rainy it was still very pleasant and the rain helped you sleep well. The sun and the breezes made beginning and the pool just the place to go. If you didn't want to be by the pool you could sit ob the deck and just chill out. I opted for beginning pool side and had a great time even though i got myself sun burned. NO amount of spf can help if you sit out in the sun to long. The pool its self was great. I had never been in salt water pool and I loved it. It was just cool enough to help against the heat but warm enough to enjoy it anytime day or night.
The location was awesome, i need to get some things from the little of Columbia AL near buy and it was very nice . The people and shop owners were all very friendly. They told me about different things in the area and where honestly nice. I couldn't find a fake smile from a single one. I even heard a couple of good jokes from one of the ladies from the gas station i visited . It isn't far from the Florida state line and only a couple of hours from Panama city and the beach which was great fun even in the off time i was there. I got a couple of eye sore shirts and enjoyed the beach to some degree.
But there was a couple of a draw backs to my time there. One my cell phone didn't really work at the camp site (Thanks t-mobile I will be dropping you as soon as I can!). The supervisor cats really didn't seem to like dog guest the much. (even thought I loved petting every one of them.)
But over all I loved this camp ground and i am working on my next trip to go down as soon as i can.

Lizard Landing is ran by despicable people. They are usually drunk by 9 am. They are so greedy for money, they think the campers are ignorant and do not know how to read the electric meters. Double charged for electricity month one. The next month, was gone for 1/2 the month, the electric bill was more than the prior month. Even with photos of the meter, the low life's tried to argue.
They have no morals. Go through the mail, delivered the packages they wanted too. Kept the ones they did not.

I really enjoy coming to this park, it is incredibly well maintained and in the past couple years they have really built it up and expanded it. And it seems like some of the staff has been here for years and they are absolutely wonderful. I've been to many of the old houses they have here several times, but I still like to go inside and take a look. Even though nothing changes with them. They have a little general store there with old-timey fountain, sodas and floats with ice cream. The general store also has this very strong ginger ale that is just so wonderful to drink and if you are a fan of ginger ale then you should give this stuff a shot.
Today they had a bluegrass and BBQ festival and it was really great. I had a good time listening to the bluegrass music, however, I think next time it would be great if they could get a real barbecue company to come in and do some local barbecue like Smokey Joe's. I think the barbecue they had may have been store-bought but I do not know that 100%. That's just what it tasted like. It was still fine though.
There are some bees if you're exiting towards Hartford highway, however, the bees here just seem to be a little bit more aggressive than what I'm used to working with, I seem to always get stung at several times, even just viewing from 15 or 20 ft.
Entry to this place is only $7 and there is so much to do, it is definitely worth the visit by yourself or with a family.

Love love love this place. My kids bought so many gem stones and rocks. They pack it with a little card that gives a description. Our fav thing to do is the planetarium. The trail on the bridge is so much fun as well

Just took my grand daughter and she loved it. So clean and boardwalk was amazing! Young lady inside was a joy to talk to. Great laugh. Haven't been in a while but definitely putting it on the list of things to do.

This park, and especially the Agricultural Museum are a hidden gem. There are two playgrounds right next to a covered pavilion for various events, and it is rarely crowded. One of my favorite places locally!

Loved walking around the trails. The historic buildings are realistic. We stopped at the soda fountain. I got a super delicious pecan ice cream cone. Will go back again

We always love going to Landmark park. Everyone is so friendly and it's fun to "go back" in time to a simpler time and way of life. The music, the people, the activities are always enjoyable and we always leave feeling a bit more peaceful and having learned quite a bit. We became members the first time we went, right after we moved to town, and it's one of our favorite places to go.

A nice well taken care of grounds & buildings. To really get the best experience i would recommend going during 1 of their events, than all buildings are open & activities are available. The boardwalk is great, the nature trail is limited still, due to some needed repairs. Fun place to stroll around anytime.

A nice place for a peaceful walk with nature. We walked into the woods and had a romantic picnic. The only negative is the lack of signage on the trails, we ended up with a bridge that was being repaired so we had to walk back to the main trail. We saw lots of turtles swimming around in the water. They have an area for children with swings and climbing areas. Great place for a family outing.

My husband brought me to landmark Park this past Saturday. I was in much need of get out of the house therapy! I can't believe I have lived in the wiregrass for 25 years and never been there! We really enjoyed ourselves. The boardwalk trail is beautiful and loved all the historic buildings. Animals are so fun! Biggest hog I ever seen! He gave us a good snort while we were there. The pharmacy is probably my favorite, my maiden name is "Martin" and I'm a retired nurse so I really enjoyed the vintage pharmacy. Young lady working was very helpful and informative about landmark park. We will be back soon this time with a picnic lunch and my grand daughters.
Thank-you so much! Best therapy in the wiregrass!
Serene retreat featuring 50 acres of lush, manicured gardens with ponds & shady walking trails.
Beautiful place to visit, with family or solo like I did! So many walking paths and amazing flowers and plants and much more!! There is even a kids playground area, it was $5 admission for adults and children age 15 and under are free. I will definitely be going back when I come to visit again. Very peaceful if you're looking for some relaxing time for yourself.

I haven't been here in about 3 or 4 years so I thought I would stop back by and see what's changed. They've really done a lot with the place in a short amount of time, and it is definitely worth a visit on a cool spring day. The Rose garden is an excellent shape. As always. There is a nice little walking trail that has some Forest foliage along the way.
There is a wonderful little tropical exhibit that has all of these tropical plants and the pitcher plants are truly amazing and I just love looking at them, I just would love to bring an insect one time here and try to feed one of these plants. Personally for me this is my favorite part of the exhibit because on the left hand side they have those neat little carnivorous plants down the center. They have at least truly alien plants that I'm just not familiar with at all now the right hand side. They have these other hanging plants but not the carnivorous plants and they're all just so great to look at.
They have a new butterfly garden where there are many butterflies flying about. The Butterflies look beautiful and are fun to watch, however the staff hand out these little sugar Sponges on a stick to people to try and feed the butterflies. And I'm not quite sure why they do this because there are flowers everywhere in this little greenhouse and people will literally walk up to these butterflies and shove this stick into their face and force them onto the little sponges. I have been to butterfly gardens or conservatories all over the world and I have never once seen any place that will let you do this. In fact every other one that I've ever been to strongly discourages you from touching or interacting with the butterflies and you just have to hope that one lands on you naturally. But I want to say that I am by no means an expert. It just seems weird to me because these butterflies are eating from a flower and then someone comes up and shoves a giant sponge in their face, that's like if you were to eat Olive garden and someone just come up to you and shoved food right in your face, you really don't need it and it's got to be stressful for the butterfly. All of the above is especially true with the kids. The kids just don't understand how delicate butterflies are and I saw A few get stepped on or be bludgeoned to death by the sponge because kids just don't understand.
Anyway, sorry to go off on such a long-winded rant about that. I just want to say that the botanical gardens in Dothan are a truly wonderful place and it seems like every time I go they've added something to it or improved it in some way. The people that work here truly have a great love and passion for flowers and the outdoors. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for something cheap and relaxing to do.

First time visiting this garden. On the smaller side but for $5 a person it was well worth the money! Gorgeous Asian garden and tropical plant house. Good variety of roses, camellias and herbs too. Paved walkways. Very peaceful and quiet on a Sunday morning. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Took a 2 hour road trip to visit on a Thursday afternoon in early April, and at that time, the Gardens were not busy. This a a very nice gardens with a newly added butterfly house. We thought the Admission cost was reasonable. We had a group of 5 adults & spent about 2 1/2 hours wandering the gardens. There were some flowers in bloom, but the best time to visit would probably be late May, early June, and I do hope to go back then. However, the tropical gardens house was amazing, the oriental gardens area with the red bridge was beautiful, and the new butterfly house was interesting. Don't miss the gift shop. It had some very cute and interesting items that we thought were very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.

My wife and I went walking the this beautiful place for the first time and it was very nice, we put a lock on the gate and tossed the keys into the lake, next time we will take the kids since now we know there's a kid zone. Our first time visiting we went alone so we could see if it would be somewhere to take the kids. We will be taking them next time.

Gorgeous place to take the kids or to have a photo shoot. It’s perfect for someone who wants to take a gorgeous stroll and look at all the flowers, they have a little playground, a bunch of fish ponds and every season they decorate! 10/10 recommend

A cute place to visit if you like nature and foliage. We enjoyed being able to feed the butterflies and enjoy a nice walk through the planted gardens flowers and trees . really great park rangers are informative. the grounds are kept up well, so you can walk right up to the mounds. the White Trail was closed due to some construction, so there were two available trails. according to the map we got, there also seemed to be a disc golf course but we could not find it at all. overall, it was a very informative and fun time.

This site was not as impressive as I remember it being as a child. The Indian mounds are fascinating, but I think the ones at Etowah and Ocmulgee are more impressive. The site is also very small and does not take long to do. This is a good one time visit. It was also expensive for the minimal things to see and do here. And the museum was not even included in the fee. Plus, when I went into the visitor center to pay the parking fee, it took over five minutes before an employee came out of the back to help me. I was not overly impressed with my experience and probably would not return to this site.

We had a fantastic weekend camping at here. The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere were truly refreshing. The campsite was well-maintained, and the facilities were clean. We enjoyed hiking the trails and had a great time by the campfire in the evenings.
Waking up to the serene view of the lake was a treat for the eyes and soul.
The campsite feels little congested should be more spacious.
Restroom was clean and well maintained.
Activities include swimming, kayaking, Paddle boating and nice trails.

This is a beautiful State Park. We tent-camped at site #3 on the lake for 6 days. Make sure you have sturdy tent stakes and a metal hammer to get through the compacted rock on the pull-through drive. The campsite hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the Rangers and staff at the visitors center were great. Be sure to see the film and the museum, very informative! Firewood and ice are also available at the visitors' center.

This small park was a perfect stop on our trek across Georgia. We went on a week day in December and there were very few people in the campground. The campsites were very nice, especially the ones right on the lakefront. We had a lovely walk exploring the mounds at sunset. They have a story walk trail and change the book each month. We could hear owls and saw an otter in the lake. Wish we had time for a kayak rental or museum tour! Actually, we tried to go on the museum when we arrived at about 415pm, but the kinda snippy ranger at the desk said we couldn't because she was about to close it, despite the sign that said open till 5. 🤷♀️ Other than that, all was great! Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot.

Museum, set on Fort Rucker, exhibiting restored military aircraft, including many Army helicopters.
EXCELLENT MUSEUM!!! Takes a minimum of a couple of hours to see. Would be much longer if you really like to read everything. Yes - it is on base, but access was not an issue. Really nice gift shop as well. I'd suggest starting with the movie screening on the history of Army aviation before going through the exhibits.
Richard Davis — Google review
Free to enter with pass for base. Outside area is great for pictures, and so is the inside. Gidtshop and clean facilities. Elevator access makes seeing all parts of the museum possible, I went when I was still on crutches. Probably one of the best things to do in the area, can get kinda busy on Saturdays

We stopped at the Alabama welcome center and got brochures for the Enterprise area. We picked three things we wanted to do. The first on the list was the Aviation Museum. It was great and the grandkids had a wonderful time. When you arrive you have to go to the visitor center and get a base pass. The museum is right by the gate.
The museum was a great choice and had a lot of exhibits. Great family trip! The museum takes about an hour and a half to see everything.

From the Wright Brothers to today's drones, this collection has them and everything in between. A very well curated and fascinating look into where Army Aviation has been, where it is now and where it will be tomorrow. There is a well stocked gift shop inside the museum. Definitely worth the visit!

Incredible exhibits chronicle aircraft and people from the birth of aviation through the present day. Many unique fixed and rotor wing aircraft in interactive and static displays. Many stories of heroes from all wars that Aviation played a role in. Exhibits both indoors and out. Plan for 3 or more hours. Easy access and several restaurants right on base.
Cris Kelley — Google review
Great enjoyable history here! Came with my 10 year old sister and she loved it as well. Much more stuff than what’s in the pictures and has a very nice gift shop. It’s on base though so make sure you get a visitors pass(free) located at the visitor center near the base entrance

I love aviation museums. This one has quite a bit of Army aviation history inside one building. Planes and helicopters galore. What a historic photo hall. And I found a piece of the Berlin wall on the second floor. My father is 88+ and went to boot camp here then known as camp Rucker in 1953 and then straight to Korea, later, Vietnam twice.
Also three is almost a hidden gem you might just walk passed and not notice the door leading into the Vietnam memorial room with the names of fallen soldiers on the walls.
The public is welcome to attend and it is helpful to have your starred driver's license ready to show at the front gate. Make sure your camera and/or phone is charged to full as you will surely want to take some photos.
There is no entrance charges. There is a donation box inside to help with expenses. Don't forget to stop by the museums store.
Enjoy!

Ft Rucker, recently renamed Ft Novosel, is the home of Army Aviation. This is Army Aviation's museum.
It has a good showing of early military aviation starting with a Wright Brothers designed two seater to an SE5A from WW1. Unfortunately, there are no aircraft to show for the WW2 period when the Army Air Corps ruled the skies before the USAF came into being. Then, the museum focuses on the Vietnam War before ending with the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The full-scale dioramas are first rate.
There is a nice gift shop with a lot of military aircraft prints for sale, apparel, kids toys and Army Aviation collectibles.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been to this museum twice since 1995 and it’s truly a hidden gem. Located on base, it will require base access, but definitely worth stopping by and seeing the facility and aircraft. A few one off prototypes and even some historical birds present and on display. The R66 Comanche helicopter and super 68 helicopters are located here as well and can be viewed!
Again can’t recommend enough and anyone visiting the Gulf Coast who is interested in air power and helicopters should definitely take the time to swing by and see what all is here to offer!

This museum has been so special to me since childhood and remains so today. The people at the desk are always friendly, the museum is easy to navigate, and it has such great displays and information. I used to beg my father to bring me every weekend and now as an adult I love to bring my own child.
The Boll Weevil Monument is a statue erected to honor the locals' resilience and adaptability in pivoting from cotton farming to peanut farming after being affected by pests. The monument stands as a symbol of perseverance and innovation. The statue holds great significance and draws tourists who come to witness its beauty and learn about the history behind it. It was unveiled during the Fall Festival on Main, which creates a lively atmosphere with numerous vendors selling their wares.
Loved it. There was so much to see and do. Lots of vendors and a great atmosphere. Edited to add...these pics were taking during the Fall Festival on Main.

The Boll Weevil Statue in Enterprise, AL, stands as a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the community. Depicting the insect that inadvertently spurred the town's transition from cotton to more diversified agriculture, it serves as a symbol of adaptability and progress. The statue itself is a well-crafted piece of art, capturing the significance of this historical event. Visitors can appreciate its unique story and its role in shaping the identity of Enterprise.

Interesting monument. Much smaller than expected (it's about 6 ft tall or so?) and in the middle of an intersection so it's hard to get a good look at unless you want to stand in traffic. The whole town follows a Boll Weevil theme which was kinda cool

Johnny Henderson Family Park is a lovely public green space that runs through Harrand Creek. The area boasts several amenities, including walking trails, picnic areas and restrooms. The playground is well-maintained, with plenty of features to keep children entertained for an extended period of time. There is also a disc golf course on site that adds some fun to the park. Although one hole may be challenging due to its steep slope next to the water, overall it's worth exploring.
Beautiful park with a paved walking trail, playground well maintained, and nice picnic areas.

I go here each morning for a walk and enjoy every second of it. The sun and shade ratio is unmatched. The people who walk (and run) there are friendly and respectful. It’s safe. Each lap is roughly 2,000 steps! Beautiful trees and scenery. It’s amazing.

A beautiful location to walk and spend time with your family. They have a splash pad which my nephews love and many pavilions to throw birthday parties or family gatherings at. There's a flock of geese who come and a lot of ducks. They're all friendly and ready to be fed. You can also fish if you'd like. It's a great place to play Pokemon Go if you're into that, a lot of stops and the highest spawn rate in Enterprise. I come here all the time to enjoy a nice evening walk with my wife. Enterprise would not be the same without it.

Our students had not ever had an opportunity to zipline. After completing a lesson on linear functions, students explored how a doll's speed varied when the height of a zipline was altered. Seeing those dolls glide through the air under various conditions was good; however, a trip to Butter and Egg Adventures where the students themselves could experience a zipline, was the perfect culminating activity for the lesson. Our students will never forget it!

Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, then Ziplining. It was a great day. A value priced zip lining experience. We did 10 zip lines including the ones over the lake which are a little longer than three football fields. And two wobbly bridges and a net climb were included.
We had two good attendants/guides.
A good value when compared to the prices of many other zip line attractions. Many others charge $80 to $110 per person.
It was worth the trip for the Barrios family.

We were a party of 8 (4 tweens, 4 adults) coming from out of state during spring break, and *everyone* (ages 11-48) had an awesome time. Both aerial tree courses were challenging but manageable for all of us, the zip lines were really fun, and we wrapped up our afternoon with some awesome outdoor laser tag. The staff was super flexible, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Our adventures ran longer than planned, but the staff was happy to accommodate and stayed open past their official hours to let us experience everything we’d hoped! Amazing museum, but it is not for the faint of heart. A lot of history is in this museum. Walking around, I found myself wondering just how in the world do they have such a big collection of things. We had such a great time! It was all very interesting and at each place they took the time to explain the time periods to show us how everything was used. So much to see!

The museum was very interesting & informative, and laid out well. The admission price was somewhat expensive for a family of 5. The gentleman in the military museum and young man in the general store were very helpful & courteous, although the staff within the main museum were very rude. As within any museum, you cannot touch anything- but they were over the top. For example, After one staff member said that my 4 year old could stand on the steps of the train, the lady within the main museum made it a point to run out across the parking lot and yell loudly that he could not ”climb” on the train. If a 4 year old can break an iron train of that stature by standing on the steps, it doesn’t need to be on display.

We originally planned to visit all three museums in Troy but spent the entire morning at the Pioneer Museum. The museum was full of items from the Pioneer days, the Civil War, and even had a large selection of Native American exhibits. Some of the exhibitions were closed or under renovation. I loved the entire museum, and even my grandkids had a great time. It would have been nice to see the inside of the log cabins. Several had plexiglass viewing ports, but most had hasps and padlocks. Many of the log cabins were in poor condition and had wood rot and termite damage. The church roof eaves did not overhang far enough over the log walls; the chinking was improper and allowed water to damage the logs. It was unfortunate to see so many of the cabins needing repair.
I would highly recommend Pioneer Museum for class field trips or family trips. We spent 3 hours here and did not even see everything.
My vehicle broke down on my way back to my city. A nice couple stopped to see if anything they could help me. They drove behind me to get me to a safe place while I waited on AAA
roadside assistance. The gentleman went into Saks& Kon to let the deputy know that I was in the parking lot, it was close to closing time. He came back to ask me that if I needed anything that the deputy would be checking on me. It was awhile before the tow truck arrived. The Deputy did came back to check on before he left. He asked if I would like for him to wait for the tow truck. I thanked him ,that daughter was just pulling up. I did go in the area where there was some people was working they was very courteous asked if there was anything that the could do or if I wanted to stay in the building until AAA arrived. Usually I stop in and do some shopping, the associates have always been courteous giving some Awesome customer service. Thank you

I ran across this store in the middle of nowhere in Alabama precisely at the right time! Only in February do they have their 20% off everything sale. It's a huge store with shoes and clothes galore 😍 for all ages. employees were very nice and helpful. The store carries somewhat expensive name brands so I appreciated the sale!

Love this store... I picked up some Hey Dude shoes on my first Visit and on yesterday 1/20/24 I picked up a bogg bag. I will be returning. The ladies at the register are always nice and helpful. I recommend this store to find all kinds of shoes, boots, bags, clothes and belts. They also have kid shoes and things for men and women. They also have all sizes of the bogg bags. I got the small this time... next trip I will get the medium. Just go visit if you was wondering. Even if it's just for the experience. You won't regret it. Prices are average. They have sales.

We spent over $200 so definitely lots of nice merchandise - very reasonable prices.
The staff was awful! Lots of giggling gossiping teenage girls that were not helpful at all.
A kind older lady offered some assistance in someone else’s “hall” and then asked the girl who was in charge of the “hall” we were in to help us out.
Upstairs the girls were very pleasant though!
Overall the shopping was wonderful but the environment not so much!

Insane prices! Great shoe, cowboy boot and tennis shoe options; however, the prices are extremely high. If you are willing to travel, go to Nashville and visit one of the stores that does buy one and get one free for the cowboy boots. Was so excited to catch this mall on our last trip, but then massively disappointed when we got inside. The ladies clothes were also more organized like a second-hand store.

We were greeted as we walked in and I enjoyed my conversation with the lady attending the dressing rooms while my son tried some jeans but as far as "outlet malls" go, I didn't see any bargains large or small. With fuel prices like they are I won't be making any special trips to go here.

I travel a great deal with my job and I pass by this location frequently. That being said, I usually stop at least once a month. I can always find something I need and or want. They have very reasonable prices and a huge selection. I’m not a big shopper but I enjoy shopping here.

Hadn't been in for a while and was disappointed in the current selection. The staff was so busy trying to restock that you had to get out of their way instead of being able to look at the shelved merchandise. Great place for farming and hunting gear though! Fantastic parking area. If you are driving through, it's worth a stop!

Awesome staff, minus 1 rude cashier.

Took my wife here to find a unique handbag, something unlike what she can find in the Philippines. I had forgotten about all of the boots and different styles of shoes that they sell. Also had some really nice shirts and blue jeans.huge parking lot and pick nick tables outside. Really a nice and enjoyable store for shopping.

The HUGE February 20% off everything sale is gonig on and they certainly have the largest collection of HeyDudes and Boggs in the state. So many styles, patterns, and sizes to choose from.Wonderful large selection on name brand shoes and clothing at a fair price. The store is super spacious, well organized, and stocked with a variety of styles and sizes. I found all styles of oofus and multiple color choices in the new balance model shoe I was looking for. Staff were present in all areas of the store willing and able to assist with the politeness of southern hospitality. Conveniently located on the 231 Southbound side of the road with a substantial parking area, with picnic tables and a shaded spot to walk the fur babies to the right of the store. Hamburger King is just across the parking lot, so you can shop around lunch and keep looking. A great business we are happy to have in the small community it is nestled into. If you need boots, sneakers, sandals, or Jean's, this is definitely a place to check out. Wonderful for backpacks and hats, too! You can find the whole outfit and fashionable accessories as well. Ladies clothing is upstairs and bursting with cute , fashionable items. Ray ban sunglasses and western leather wallets by names like Ariat and Twisted are front and center in the display cases.

Sprawling cafe & gift shop offering a wide range of candied pecans, plus fudge & other sweet treats.
They make a lot of the items in store. You definitely need to check out the samples. The employees are nice and friendly and very helpful.
Enjoyed my time there and bought some stuff as well. I have also added some pictures from their catalog. ENJOY your visit like we did.

Great shopping here, we were able to pick up several gifts for people.
We went for the Ice Cream thinking it would be something homemade with Pecans. It was just commercial hand-dipped ice cream. We both got a cup with 2 scoops, me with Peach and Coffee, hubby with mint chocolate chip and Oreo cookie. Both were wonderful. We sat on the front porch and ate while it rained. You only have a view of 65, but we enjoyed ourselves.
We also got a pecan sampler to try and now I wish I would have bought more. Their pecans were so good! I will be trying to order from here soon.

Easy to get in and out of. Some parking for rv’s and travel trailers. Ice cream cones. Fudge. Comfy rocking chairs out front for the men to sit in.

I love this place! I just tried their maple glazed pecans that I purchased and they are amazing. I love how they have it set up like a shop and pecan store. They have this super delicious artichoke dip so I ended up getting the artichoke salsa too. The staff told me it's really good. People in there are nice and helpful.

Priester’s Pecans
Stopped on a 10-day RV trip. They have two areas sort of dedicated to RVs for a total of about 7 slots. Large crowd when we visited but we still made our way to the old deli section (great sandwiches) they also have a hot food bar and ice cream. Sandwiches cost us about $8 each. Large porch to sit in the shade and a large grass area to walk your best friend. Huge selection for pecan food and a large souvenir section. If you are looking for a sticker to remember your visit, check at the cashier. They have two options for small stickers and each is about $3

Every time I’ve been in the bathroom here it is very clean. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The coffee is amazing. I always get at least two pounds when I go. Great stop off 65 for a quick, hot, home style meal and some goodies! Clean bathrooms, kind staff, and no fuss food. For the same price (or less) than other big chain restaurants, you get a meat & 3, bread, and a huge slice of pie! Kids plates were half our price but the same size (big win there) and actually ate the food. They loved picking out a fun candy afterward. We'll definitely be back on our next trip down!
We had a great time with our grandchildren! Bring your own sack lunch or snacks. Buy more than one bucket of feed before entering the drive thru. Bring debit /credit cards cash not accepted.

Amazing!!! The price at $22.95 per adult is comparable to other zoos and well worth it! Come in the morning when it's less busy. We bought the feed, romaine cup and budgie sticks. They give you a great guidebook to identify the animals. The petting zoo was nice and laid out very well. Excellent experience! Would absolutely come back.

We were here on 8/4/23. This place was absolutely amazing! We arrived mid-afternoon. It was 98°, with a heat index of 105°, and even with the crazy heat, THERE WAS SO MUCH ACTION!! We took the advice of others on here, and brought a large bag to dump food into, to help ration it out. Otherwise, it would have been gone quickly!! We would absolutely recommend this as a must stop for anyone, young or old! Absolute A+ experience that we would be excited to do again if we are ever in tje area! Including gift shop, safari, and quick walk around the walking area, we spent a little over 2 hours here.

Soooo amazing!! My 2 and 4 year olds were so excited. My husband and I also felt like a kid being able to be up close to the animals. I recommend getting 3-4 buckets of feed ($5 each). We bought 3. We dumped our feed into a bag and then adding small amounts in the buckets as you feed the animals because some of the animals will try and take the bucket or some will pour out in car as they eat. Camels especially love to try and take the bucket. Definitely get the bird feed stick $2 each. One per person is plenty

Such a fun place. Bring a vehicle that you don’t mind getting dusty and dirty and slimy. Well worth the money. The llamas are greedy and the camels are aggressive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Buy plenty of feed and don’t use it all at the beginning of the trail. The bird enclosure is very cool. The giraffe tower is shady and nice.

If you’ve never been to a safari park (ride), you are definitely missing out, big time!
It’s a must go place IMHO. Went to ASP, twice already and enjoyed both times. Will not hesitate to go for a third time. Didn’t know llamas were such a nice creature. Camels, zebras, giraffes, those Scottish highland cattle were memorable.
It’s a short drive from Birmingham, say 2.5 hrs. Costs about $25 per person. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic little safari park! Lots of animals in the park. Feeding the animals can be fun...but several of them are clever and will steal your feed bucket - especially the camels! I recommend getting a few extra empty buckets and just keeping a little food in them at a time.
Driving can be a little stressful, as some of the animals are very bold and will block your path on the road.
It's a great place for kids, but it might actually be a little scary for very young children. The animals can be very eager about getting food.
Overall, this is a great zoo. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restroom was spotless. And the price was reasonable. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through - kids or adults.

New favorite! This place is great. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be as legit as it was, but I’m here to tell ya, they’ve outdone themselves with this whole setup! I think it was well worth the money. We were here mid-day in august and got to interact with probably every species here. The giraffes were friendly and I love that nothing is micromanaged. It’s all very open-air, and free to come and go, yet it’s still safe (I have toddlers). There is TONS of shade in the park area. Perfect for a picnic! Love love loved it!

Genesis 2:19 ERV - The LORD God used dust from the ground and made every animal in the fields and every bird in the air.
☛We came as a couple, and it's amazing. Gave me greater appreciation for the design of God. We plan to return very soon. The cashier at the shop (the one buying a home) was absolutely terrific. I'm curious how they keep animals in designated area without fences. 🤔 I'd advise getting 2 buckets so you don't run out. I really like the fact book. We plan return very soon.

We went during the day for the animals and again at night for the Christmas lights. To me it's more enjoyable during the day with the animals. Only disappointment was the giraffes weren't out bc it was cold and wet. **caution the camels will take the whole bucket of feed and they are strong!** Kids had a blast! Even the Hubs really enjoyed it. The night ride through is much shorter and some dude in front of us was spot lighting the deers which was annoying, but the lights were pretty especially in the walk through part

This is the place to go! I don't think I have laughed this much in a very long time! These animals are funny and I had my bucket stolen from one of them about 30 seconds into my ride! But we were warned and they told us how to hold them. I just didn't do the things I was supposed to. The giraffes were very awesome and you have plenty of room from where it tells you to stand. They will come to you, I promise! They have a few other animals and it doesn't feel like a zoo here, which was what I really loved. We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing day here! We took our three teenagers for the day. We rode in the back of the truck while my husband drove, we all were able to interact with so many animals! To be able to be so close to the animals and feed them was so cool! The camel's stole a few of the feed buckets! They are so strong!!!!! Unbelievably cool experience! We feed the giraffes (my favorite animals! ) The bungee birds enclosure is super cool! I recommend getting the sticks for the birds. Then the twins went to sloth encounter for their birthday. So highly recommend

Get ready to get up front and personal with these gentle giants! By far the best drive thru safari around!! Grab 2 or three bowls of food because you're gonna want to feed them all! We went through twice and wanted to go through again just for the heck of it lol!

Limited food was very expensive. They offered no lids or straws for soda ( good for environment I agree) but offered plastic refill cups for kids….
We rented a van so we got to drive and get lots more hands on with the wildlife and got to take our time verses the guided tall buses.

Great experience for the whole family, a must do. We paid a flat rate for the safari and it included unlimited rides through the safari itself and access to the petting zoo. Food buckets $5. The safari took about 30min we did about 10 mph, nice and slow drive. They had a bunch of llamas, zebras, camels, bison, water buffalo, huge African cows, etc. You can also feed the giraffes which was one of my favorite experiences. They are super friendly and come right up to your face ($3 lettuce cups you can keep the cup as a souvenir) . They have parakeet habitat you can walk into to qnd feed the birds. ($3 feeding sticks) We had a really good time and are definitely planning to come back in the future.

This was a wonderful experience! We went with our daughter and son in law And our 5 year old and 2 1/2 Year old grandchildren. We all had a great time! We rode in the back of my son in law’s pick up, while he drove through the park. We were able to feed the animals and we went around. It was so cool to get so close to the animals. Beware of the llamas! They do think that they should be fed first!. Ration the food so you will have some for all the animals. We bought several buckets (hang on to them tightly, they will try to steal the bucket) and then dumped them into a bag. That way we could put a handful into the bucket at a time. They do eat it fast.the grandkids absolutely loved it!

The llamas will drain your feed buckets quickly so try to stretch it with those guys. We saw each of the animals that were included in the safari guide book we were given so that was great. I didn't get any pictures of the budgies but their enclosure was a lot of fun. One came and sat on my foot and another tried to get into my pocket. The Kangaroos were lazily watching us and a giraffe grabbed my daughter's shirt (keep your distance and this won't happen)

Absolutely loved it here. When we went, only 150 acres were open due to the recent flooding but we still had such a blast. I saw some negative reviews about cars being scratched but I feel like that's common sense being around large free range animals. 10/10 want to come back in the warmer months.

We had so much fun! Right away, we were surrounded by cows and llamas, so hold on to your buckets tightly because they are hungry! We immediately spilled a ton of food in the car feeding the cows, so make sure you hold the bucket out far enough. The camels are very strong and will take the bucket right out of your hand! Zebras were awesome and the longhorns were amazing to see up close. We laughed the entire time and our kids were squealing in the back seat watching us feed these animals. 10/10 recommend!!

This is a must-do activity in Alabama! My friend and I (both of us 50-ish) spent almost 2 hours driving through the Safari Park and then visiting the petting zoo area, and we had the BEST time! We laughed so hard when the camel stole her bucket of food, when the zebra surprised me by sticking his head in my window, when we fed the very bold llamas, and when we got to pet the giraffe! Go! With kids, without kids, with a friend, with your family!
Currently, this place is only opened on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:30pm. So, please call them ahead of time for any further changes ( the number on the museum webpage, not the Google map one).
I visited with my 7yr old daughter who read the biography about him which was the reason for this visit. 😁
It was very informative about this man, George Washington Carver, with biblical worldview digging in depth on all sorts of plants and crops, creating so many products from the God's creation. Such an honorable man!

TLDR: Frustrating experience to visit. As of Jan '23
I'm sure the museum and Tukegee Institute visitor's center are great. However, the experience of trying to visit during current hours of operation was a massive headache.
Their hours have recently changed to Thursdays and Fridays only, from 0900-1630. This makes it VERY difficult to visit. Additionally, visitor parking is across the street next to The Oaks Home building which isn't clear on the NPS website. Finally, the main picture on the results for "Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site" is that of The Oaks Home and not the George Washington Carver museum where the main visitor center is located.
My advice is to read the fine print on the NPS website and/or NPS app very carefully before attempting a visit.

I highly recommend this museum which is run by the National Park Service... George Washington Carver was such an amazing man. It was so interesting to learn of the hundreds of contributions & discoveries he made. The museum is small but staffed by several knowledgeable people who were eager to help us learn about GWC. GW Carver's academic life was presented very well.
My young son loved the museum and the displays.
There were many exhibits that were educational for me and held my son's attention.
The museum entrance is free.
This was well worth the visit.
It only took about and hour to go through and read nearly all the displays and information plaques.

Learned a lot that I never knew. My aunt's grew up seeing Mr Carver walking the land and farms, talking to people. He was amazing, goes to show that poor or terrible start in life does not have to hold a person back from achieving incredible things. I wish I had gotten to meet him!
Staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a ton of slot machines, some older and many new. We hit a few bonuses and lost a ton of money but had a great time doing it. Smoking is allowed which is a plus for us as smokers. Only downfall... we didn't see a bar or self serve drink station. We were offered beverages once in the 5 hours we were there but to be fair, we never asked anyone how to go about getting another beverage either. We will definitely be back!! (Oh and the $25 in free play for being a new customer was awesome! )

The plus is they give you a free $25 voucher if it's your first time and you sign up. They also give you an additional $10 if it's your birthday which is nice. The downside is it's way too smokey for my taste. They also advertised a big drawing at midnight NYE but if you were inside the casino gambling, they didn't make an announcement so the drawing happened and if you weren't in that area you missed it which was probably intentional on their part so they didn't have to pay out anything.

Went just for fun won a couple hundred I have no complaints!
But it is one of the lower end slot casino compared to WC.

Oh, they also give you a free $25 for your first time going so make sure to register.

Stopped here for a little fun on a Friday night but worst mistake ever. Half the casino was closed off (for new game installation) and what was available was barely your Vegas slots.
There was probably about less than 50 people in this huge place. Machines didn't pay anything. No drink stations.
I'm just glad the people who work there has a job but this will be my one and last time at this place.
You're better off driving a little further to Wind Creek if you want a lively atmosphere.

BE AWARE! This adult facility has a dress code. Where you can’t wear spaghetti straps. It is strange as is. But my issue lies with the fact they have a check point. Where the worker should let guest know of this rule as they are checking your ID! Not let you roam around this mediocre casino for a hour. To interrupt you and tell you to leave. After you say your workers should inform people at the checkpoint. They have an attitude saying you should have read the sign in the front. When there’s tons of signs by the door that most people overlook.

After reading some of the reviews about this place, I wanted to go just to see if it was just that bad as they say or if it was an exaggeration. When my sister and I first went over the 4th of July holiday, it was dead but picked up some as the afternoon trekked on. They automatically carded us upon entry, which is unusual, but okay. Since it was our first time there we were directed over to the counter. I thought we were getting player cards, like any other casino, instead we were both gifted $50 tickets for being 1st timers to VictoryLand. My sister walked away with an additional ticket for her age being it’s her birthday month. I just thought it was a nice rouse to humor us in getting their money, but we didn’t play any of our own money and walked away with more than half of each voucher. So, we felt good about the place absent of the fact its free to smoke anywhere in there. (Not picky, just asthmatic.)
That said, their machines are nothing like the machines you usually come across. They are kind of knockoffs of what you usually would play at the other casinos, and the playing space isn’t that big in comparison. The staff is pleasant and helpful. While it wouldn’t be worth a special trip just to go there (seeing that it's well pass its glory days), if you happen to be in the area passing through on I-85, and got a little time on your hands, it might be worth a brief stop.

We read that they give new customers $50 in free play and it’s true. We drove there yesterday. They gave one person in our party another $50 because it was her birthday month. She won $200 and we were close behind. I don’t know how they can do this, but thank you. If your driving down Hy 85, you have a stop.

It’s a fun place to visit if you are passing through on 85 and want to take a chance on video slots. We received a $25 gaming voucher at registration plus an additional $10 because it was my birthday month. I got a little lucky on “Smash the Pig”, and put it all back! I lost $60 that day, but I’d totally do it again in the future!

What a weird place. There’s a whole hotel tower that’s blocked off and apparently was only open for one year from 2009-2010? Why? They also have their own police and fire departments for some reason- again, why? And how is that even legal considering they’re a private business?
I was passing by on the interstate and stopped here solely for the $50 free play, which went *extremely* fast. You should know that all machines here are made by a single slot manufacturer I’ve never heard of and are basically low quality knockoffs of real casino slots. As others have mentioned, I imagine they’re pretty rigged.
I don’t know how Victoryland stays in business. It’s got a very depressing vibe inside, there’s no hotel or amenities of any kind and there’s not even a restaurant as far as I could tell. I tried to Google more info because I was interested to learn the history of this place but couldn’t find much.
Oh, also- they obnoxiously had a giant sign on the casino floor with a picture of a case of Bud Light crossed out, saying they no longer serve Bud Light. So just know those are the kind of people you’re supporting if you spend money here.

This use to be a nice wonderful place to play close to home but now they have changed the machines and my friends and I have lost a lot of money and absolutely zero jackpots. I will not be back ever again. Worst mistake I have made and I have given them about 7 chances since they changed machines. Machines don't act like they will even let you play much less win a decent amount. Just a joke to take money.

This place is great! The Freeplay vouchers they give out are phenomenal! You have to buy your own alcoholic drinks. But it's fine when they give money to play the machines just for being there. My wife got $140 her first visit. We won over $400 and all I spent was $10 on 2 beers. This place is a must visit!

I had the best time! We won and walked out with pockets full, and everyone was so so nice!

This casino is TINY. We had a great time. We stopped here for the night because they have an entire lot for RVs and busses. First time visitors get a $50 free play voucher, and anything you win you can keep! So we only played with the free play and left with $120. No restaurant open on a Saturday, no table games and no drink stations. But a fun way to kill an hour or two.

It's small and not many people at all, which I was perfectly fine with because I don't really like big crowds. However, their machines, I didn't care for, and you would think you'd win a little something, but quite the opposite. I wouldn't go back, but that's just my opinion. It is very clean and taken care of. It's so small that you have to go to the cashier just to turn a ticket in, which was super weird to me. I haven't had to do that in years.

First off walking in, you give them your ID to scan, Officer even asked if he could look in my purse 🤦🏾♀️ the casino is very clean and the staff I encountered was nice, no cash out machines, and the vibe is sad you don’t hear any bonus noises big win noises anything like that. The vibe is depressing, and none of the machines pay out!!! None of the machines are your normal slots, more like gas station slots go on down a few miles to WC
