The gardens are renowned for their well-manicured grounds, with a fantastic variety of plants, trees, and wildflowers. The gardens are closed on January and Thanksgiving and Christmas days, but they are still a great place to visit any time of year.
We were lucky enough to hit the gardens while the tulips were in full bloom. Really nice enjoyable time. Fair $15 adult entry fee. These gardens give you tons of freedom to roam about walk across waterfalls get off the main paths on stepping Stones closer to nature. Truly enjoyed the freedom these gardens give for roaming. Excellent garden area for children also. If you are a senior or have any immobility that keep you from getting around you can also request a golf cart tour to get around easier. I think the golf cart tours are included with admission but I am not 100% certain on this.

This is probably one of my favorite botanic gardens I've visited in a long time. A few key highlights was the Anthony Chapel, the tree house and a few of the overlooks. I love that it isn't just one path, there's multiple sub paths you can take through the gardens, like stepping stones. We had no problems finding parking and we went during the afternoon on a weekday, might be different for other times like the morning. I believe the chapel is free if you walk in the entrance to the East but the actual gardens is like $20. Great place to spend the day, views, peace and some fun!!!

This is a spectacular botanical garden incorporating multiple styles like Japanese, European and contemporary landscaping styles. The garden is designed by the University of Arkansas school of architecture and it's quite impressive how the architects weaved so many elements together like winding paths, bridges, ponds, arbors, treehouse, rock garden and the lake into a fluid tapestry. The tree house and rock garden definitely are a must see if you have kids. Highly recommended for families!

My favorite adventure of our vacation! It was pretty hot the day we were there but there is a lot of shade and a breeze made things way better. A very nice long walk through nature without the drastic elevation changes. Beautiful gardens and architecture. Highly recommend and I will go back.

LOVED visiting this garden! We enjoyed meeting George the Peacock and his trainer letting us feed him. The chapel was even more stunning in person. The walking trails were beautiful and very well maintained.

I took the golf cart tour with my grandma & had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable, skilled at navigating around large crowds, & patient when we wanted to stop and take pictures. Beautiful place! We loved the cafe too.

This is place is absolutely beautiful!! My girlfriend and I made a Saturday trip in early spring to see this place and it was absolutely worth the cost of admission and the drive time. It's fields and fields of gorgeous flowers of all colors and species. They have a giant artistic tree house for the kids and kids at heart to enjoy with a waterfall and creek framing it in... one of the most breathtaking cathedrals I've seen with roof to sky windows... and a Japanese cherry tree garden with a small waterfall backdrop that looks straight out of a painting.
Beau Branscum — Google review
This is a beautiful garden which for you to enjoy. Cost is $20 per person, and $5 for a dog to tour the grounds. You will see everything from a structured treehouse, waterfall, a creek, and even a small cave behind the waterfall that you can crawl through if you're physically able.
The walking trails are wide easy accessible some of which are gravel some of which are rock. You may even experience or see some multiple creatures that live in the area.
The restrooms are clean the gift shop is nice and well taken care of and this place even offers a grill for your dining pleasure.
During the Christmas time of year many decorations are placed throughout the garden which could be viewed as they are illuminated and help to bring the garden to life.
It's a wonderful place to simply spend time with friends and family, to take a stroll enjoy nature and get some of that much needed exercise your doctor keeps telling you about.
Take time to visit the gardens enjoy your day and take your time walking along the trails and experiencing the wonders of nature and what Arkansas has to offer.

Even if you are not a regular allergy sufferer be sure to at least have allergy stuff with you. We don't normally don't suffer from allergies but my whole family felt it when we went. Other than that this park is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming here!!! Everywhere you looked there were sights to see. So many waterfalls, just stunning. Definitely a good place to take family photos or senior portraits, so be sure to dress nice. I wish we could have stayed longer and took in more of the breathtaking views!

The cucumber sandwich was super yummy. Beautiful stroll. There is so much to look at and explore. If you go early, be sure to visit the chapel before it gets crowded. The resident peacocks will take food from your hand. Very peaceful.

Beautiful garden, very well maintained. One of the must see places to visit in Hotsprings. There are many walking tracks and gardens to cover, so plan to stay here for the whole day and enjoy outdoors at this place. Meet and greet the adorable Peacock George. He will surely steal your hearts. They have lots of Japanese Maple trees, so we are pla ningi to visit again during fall season. They already started setting up the holidays. Hearty that there will be 2 million plus lights in action for Christmas. It will be a good idea to sign up for new letter, when you can get regular updates all year round. Buy tickets online to avail a discount of $5 per ticket.

Me and my wife visited Garvan Woodland Gardens as our first trip on our honeymoon. We enjoyed every second of the expertly manicured park. The architectural craftsmanship of the man made exhibits is quite breathtaking. If you enjoy nature and architecture do not pass this up on your next trip to Hot Springs!
Grady A. — Google review
This place was awesome and much larger than expected. Give at least a half day to explore if not a full day. I only wish they opened earlier. 10am is late. Other than that, beautiful place, they are getting Christmas lights ready so seeing the stuff lying around and plastic poles everywhere kinda ruins the view a little bit but wouldn’t deduct more than a star for that because I’m sure it’s going to be beautiful when done. Also a great idea when weather cools down and plants aren’t thriving as much. The lights add the vibrant colors missing when weather doesn’t allow the vibrant flowers. Also love that it’s dog friendly. The chapel is also a great touch, just a short walk and absolutely stunning architecture. Wife already has plans for renewing our vows here.
Joel Collishaw — Google review
Beautiful gardens! We stopped by here on our visit to Hot Springs National Park and spent about 2.5 hours walking around! There were lots of different decorations up for Christmas time. We liked the trail that goes up to the lake. The treehouse and tower were also cool to look at! The only sad part was the chapel was closed when we went due to an event. The gift shop was cute with friendly staff too!
Alexandra Nusawardhana — Google review
Great place for family hikes. Especially good for amateur hikers as the trails are well kept.
Staff- staff members were excellent and seemed to thoroughly enjoy conversing with visitors and helping out.
Kids- Great for kids. Trails are well kept or paved. Map especially helped keep us on track to see the path to the next spot we wanted to see. Kids enjoyed playing the nature bingo and everything on the list! It was a great way to keep them engaged and concentrated on the hot July walks.
Trails- we opted for the non-paved trails which tended to be shadier for the hot day. Did not get to complete all trails. The only trail we missed was the long one set away from the main area.
Price- if you do not plan to spend a lot of time here, then I could see where the price is steep. If you plan to spend most of your day here hiking and seeing all the sights then the price is fair to have safe and well kept trails for the whole family.
Sights- the gardens are beautiful, even in the heat of the summer. I could see that it would be even better at other times of the year. The chapel in the woods is a must see (especially to grab some AC in the heat). My favorite sight was the amphitheater which doesn’t seem to get many visitors, but it looked like a fairy tale spot with miss covered areas. The treehouse area was a great spot for everyone.
We saw 2 snakes on our journey which was great for the kids.
Plan to spend a full day here and bring walking shoes and I think you will be impressed!
Kyle Melancon — Google review
LOVED IT. It was so magical and beautiful. To enter the gardens, the admission is 25$ but we are cheap and walked around the front grounds and over by the Chapel. So beautiful. 💯
Christina Currie — Google review
Beautiful gardens to walk. All the workers/volunteers are super sweet. We spent all day wondering around and exploring. Worth every penny. They have little nature Bingo for kids and offer a military discount if you purchase tickets at the entrance.
jenna Williamson — Google review
Nice place to take a stroll, downside is it's cheaper to buy tickets online. It's $20 per adult if bought online (no convenience fee) vs. $25 at the gate. Military service members and Vets. can get the same discount right at the gate. We spent about an hour, saw a few cool structures and plants. There's an option for touring via electric cart for those who don't or can't walk for too long.
Luis Duckworth — Google review
Buy tickets online. It will save you some money. It is a nice big garden. Your ticket will work for the whole day, can re-enter throughout the day. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The tree house is not worth 2 million dollars. It's a neat design, but not at the price tag. The children's garden is nice with all the rocks and a waterfall. The mini train wasn't on when we were there so it was a bit disappointing for the kids. Our whole family had fun there though. There's a cafe in the garden, however we didn't try it. Plenty of parking spaces, easy in and out.
Mitchel is a great tour guide, historian of the Grove, and home owner in keeping with the original architecture and interior.
It is a must see on your tour of historical homes.
He takes you back describing former owners, what is was like, what they did for a living and what the rooms were formerly used for and why some changes took place.
Amazing stories of former folks that still may roam the grounds and inhabit the home!
Great tour Mitchel!
Carla Norris — Google review
I love this house! Historical and paranormal, and the owners are proud of both facts. The owners love to share stories about both sides on the tour and welcome photos. They ask that no videos be recorded, though.
Noelle Crager — Google review
Mitchel was great. Very knowledgeable about the home. Wife and I were here for the weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about The Grove and its rich history. Be ready for that middle room. Thank you!
Jonry Edralin — Google review
We loved the tour Mitchel - the current owner - filled with wonderful history and great story telling. The home is beautiful and although a private residence it feels kept as a museum of sorts. Some of the items are from the previous owners. The oddity of the home is that people have had things happen here that they can’t explain. We had our own experiences here and yet, it was not scary or disturbing. Make time to come to the tour here when you are in Jefferson, Tx.
Christine Wilson — Google review
A truly great house tour by a great tour guide. Great mix of history, love stories, hauntings and humor.
Michael Kopf — Google review
It is a wonderful historical home. The current owner is very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge of the home and the town with us. There is rumor that it's haunted but I didn't experience anything.
So you don't have to be afraid just enjoy the history and the environment.
Vera Rogers — Google review
My wife and I took the tour of The Grove this afternoon. It is a beautiful home and Mr. Whitington is an excellent guide. Thanks to him and his wife for opening their historic home for others to experience. They have not only done a remarkable job in restoring this place but also in researching and preserving its history.
Do yourself a favor and take this tour if you find yourself in Jefferson.
Mr. Whitington is also an excellent author who has published many books.

If you are going to Jefferson, TX, make sure to call and make a Reservation. Lots of fun History and Tales if Haunts. Beautiful House
Amy Bean — Google review
Enjoyed the house! Mitchel, the owner, is a very welcoming and friendly tour guide and is passionate about the history of his home. He obviously told us paranormal stories but also told us history facts involving the home. The home is small and since its lived in, you understandably wont see every room but what we were able to see was really neat. I bought his book “The Grove” and highly recommend it, I am sucked in and I’m not even someone who likes to read books.

Excellent experience, Mitchell the homeowner/ guide was fabulous and entertaining to listen to. No ghostly experiences but we enjoyed the history and this lovely unique historic home.

The Museum is on 4 floors and is very extensive. The model train exhibit is amazing in the intricate detail.

This is a very nice museum with very interesting things if the eighteen hundreds. There are three levels full of history. There is also an adjacent building with an “ho” train. Wonderful for train lovers. The people at the museum are super sweet and great with kids. So happy we visit this museum.
Argeny Hunter — Google review
Amazing stay here. The entire hotel was the most interesting place I've ever stayed with the odfest assortment of things everywhere. It added to the whole creepy atmosphere! Room was very clean, staff was incredible. Easy walking distance to everything.
JL Vester — Google review
The workers are all SO sweet and helpful. The museum is very clean. There are stairs and a small elevator. There is a lot to see, I'd plan about 1.5 to 2 hours to see it all, 1 hr if you rush through it without reading the plaques and examining everything. There are so many handmade clothing items and quilts and food items and historically significant furniture pieces and hand-bound books. I was surprised some items weren't displayed at the Smithsonian because of the significance and age. The train room is a major highlight for children. I have never seen a display so intricate, all made by hand (no touching allowed). The trains run, and there's a tiny kite that blows in the breeze (electricity and wire). The detail is amazing to see. A must-see on a trip through historic Jefferson. The photos I added are less than half of what we saw.
Rae's Rave Reviews — Google review
My husband really enjoys going to museums and learning about the history. My style is more art than history which they had a good mix of at this historical museum. I will say a few displays that had clothing laid out on a bed or chair was a little freaky. They looked almost as if the persons body evaporated on the spot. They did a good job bringing in items that covered the history of Jefferson. Art depicting nursing mothers is important to me, since so many women seem to be pushed away from this natural way of feeding.

Four floors of Jefferson History, & an art gallery of a prominent citizen. Way more than we expected, not to mention the Railroad train museum right next door. Take an afternoon to fully enjoy this treasure. So glad people saved their families history & donated it to this museum. Very fascinating!

Wonderful local history museum. The building is a gem in itself. The docent was so engaging and it was clear she had been a teacher. Such a lovely person and very helpful. The train exhibit is beyond description. It is extremely detailed and extensive.

Very nice to place to visit but not a place for kids of younger ages, lots of breakable stuff. There is a lot of history in this one little place and the lady at the desk is very informative of the history of Jefferson. Veterans are free! Definitely a must see if you're in the area!
Barbara Redding — Google review
The mini Railroad was fun. The museum had quite a mix of items. Fun that it was a court upstairs and post office downstairs. It's 4 stories and they do have an elevator for 3 floors, not the basement.
Rochelle Kretchmar — Google review
This museum, housed in the former courthouse, has four levels of absolute treasure! Extraordinary exhibits and art work. So much history of Jefferson and its riverboat history & significance.

Great museum with some awesome historical items and very friendly folks here! If you get a chance to see the miniature train and town exhibit go see it! Well worth it!
Cypress swamp with camping, boating & fishing amid diverse birds & animals, including alligators.
We had a great weekend here under the tall pines. Even through the sleet and cold, we managed to hike and rent canoes. The front staff is very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we want to go back when it’s warmer. Additionally, we stayed in spot 42. It was the first level spot we have stayed in with our RV. Such a roomy campsite! Thank you so much for the great time!

This was a great weekend trip. We camped at a lovely spot that was well spaced from other campsites and offered shade. We rented a canoe for 24 hours. It was breathtaking and ethereal gliding silently through the moss covered Cyprus. All sounds seemed to be muted and other senses awakened while paddling in and out of the groves.

Caddo Lake, Texas, is a true gem! Its enchanting cypress trees, tranquil waters, and abundant wildlife create a magical experience. Perfect for nature lovers and adventurers alike, I highly recommend visiting this serene and picturesque destination.
The fishing opportunities here are fantastic, with a wide variety of fish species to catch. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, you'll have a great time casting your line.
For a delightful day out, there are lovely picnic areas where you can enjoy a meal amidst the natural beauty. It's a perfect spot to relax with family and friends.
Exploring the lake by boat is an unforgettable experience. The meandering waterways and mysterious bayous offer a glimpse into a diverse ecosystem teeming with wildlife.
If you're planning to stay longer, there are excellent campgrounds where you can immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. For added comfort, cabins are available too, providing a cozy stay amidst nature.
Safety is a priority at Caddo Lake, and the local authorities take great care to ensure visitors have a secure and enjoyable time.
Caddo Lake has it all - fishing, picnic spots, boating, camping, cabins, and a focus on safety. This Texas treasure promises an unforgettable retreat into nature. I can't wait to go back and create even more cherished memories!!!

Beautiful park. Serene vistas, placid mirror-like water, and friendly , knowledgeable, and overall simply great staff. The pads for sites 55 and 56 are entirely too close together. I shouldn't be able to hear the neighbor letting one rip. Some may complain about the adjacent bayou and the mudboat noise, but it's part of the charm for me. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. It's host to cool wildlife, including owls and raccoons. Help the rangers maintain the park and pack out your trash!

A quick trip to Caddo Lake State Park. We stayed in a cabin. It was appointed with all the basics you need and clean (you do need to bring linens, plates, silverware.... your camping just in a cabin; they do have a coffee maker in the cabin). Remember it's not a hotel, but rather a way to be in the park and experience the beautiful nature of Caddo Lake.
The park rangers were great and more than happy to tell you about the park, the area and much more. The trails are short and relatively easy. Saw Mill Pond is nice to just sit at and listen to the wildlife. There are canoes for rent by the hour. If you are looking for a place to stay in bayou territory this your place.

Loves this place! We camped in one of the cabins that has the screened walls. We pitched our tent inside where there’s a light and there’s a lock on the door from the inside. You can also bring your own lock to lock it from the outside. The rangers at the front station were nice and informative. We rented a canoe for 3 hours and it was $20. We paddled around the swamp and bayou and saw some beautiful stuff. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Beautiful State Park with wonderful views. There are elevated docks over the water with great views of the Bayou. The hiking trails were very nice and the trails were clear of fallen trees and kept natural. The steps up the hills were nicely spaced and not steep. Plenty of bridges that cross the small winding creek. The staff at the park are friendly and helpful.
David Kennedy — Google review
This is a beautiful park. The hiking trails are well kept but do have some incline. Make sure you bring insect repellent or you will be eaten alive.
Fiorella May — Google review
We visited in July, which I do not recommend. It is so hot. It is even more humid. The park is very nice and large. We stayed in a site with water and electric. The sites are nicely spaced out so you never feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. You can walk right down to the "lake" which I would call more of a swamp, but it is very pretty. Canoe rental is cheap and easy. My kids caught a spotted gar, bowfin, and bass all from the canoe in the pond area of the lake near the docks. The bathhouses are very nice and are kept clean, but they may be a pretty good hike from your site. Everything is bigger in Texas, including the bugs. The campground is also a short drive from a quaint town called Jefferson which is definitely worth the visit.
Patrick Maguire — Google review
One of the best state parks in Texas.
I have added pictures to show some of its beauty.
You can get a paddle boat, bring your boat. Nice big trees. People are nice. The place is not crowded.
The campsites are great.
Jahidul — Google review
Really great place to go camping. You can go fishing in the pond completely covered with old Cypress trees. You can go hiking on the trails or just hang out around the camp fire. Able to go in and out after paying for your spot. They have enclosed "shelters" at each campsite if it starts raining (which it did for us). Great amenities. The only negative would be the earth shattering noises at night. It sounds like a space rocket in the distance, very loud and consuming, almost worrisome.
Bradley Bailey — Google review
Love love love this place! We visited for 5 days and 4 nights in our RV. Best birthday yet 😍. The trails were nice. Our favorite was the one that went up to the ccc pavilion. We fished on the bayou, my hubby caught a little catfish. Didn't see any alligators, maybe next time.

Caddo Lake was the best state park experience! My boys loved fishing, canoeing and hiking. The park rangers and wildlife folks were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging! Couldn't have asked for a better experience! The CCC built cabins were wonderful as well. My 11 year old said "This is the best camping experience I've ever had!"
We were so lucky to be here during their centennial celebration. We arr leaving with amazing memories!

Cado Lake is a serene haven, nestled amidst stunning natural beauty. Its crystal-clear waters, lush surroundings, and tranquil atmosphere offer a perfect escape. Whether fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing, it's a must-visit for nature lovers. A hidden gem that leaves you refreshed and inspired.

We are staying in site 27 Armadillo Run Loop, it is very close to the Hwy 46 so there is constant sound of cars, if you walk down a few sites the sound is diminished and even better on the other side of the bathrooms. Those are pull through sites with full hookups.
We would not camp in this particular loop again we would camp further away from the road.
Bathrooms are large with showers, 2 stalls, one handicapped the non handicapped stall has a paper dispensed that intruders in your space.
Great fishing peer, and kayak put in spots. There are alligators in these waters but they are not aggressive.
Enjoyed the hiking loops, and CCC work that was done I. The 1930’s
Also nice boat ramp to put your fishing boat into the bayou that leads into Cado Lake.
Lots and lots of trees great shade, but little sun to warm you in the fall and winter camping.
Flamingo Moon Campers — Google review
This is a nice, but very small state park. There's one mile of hiking trails and canoe rental. After that, you're going to need board games. The park is relatively quiet and the mill pond campsites have great trees.

Very unique environment. Didn't see any alligators. Historic park built in the 1930's. Great for kayaking through the flooded forest and the bayou channel.

This was an unexpected stop one weekend. I wish I were better prepared because the lake is best seen from a canoe. The day was cool and colder on the water and neither of us had the right clothing to stay warm for an impromptu canoe trip! Yet, even from the two access points we found, one for boats and the other a couple of piers with canoe rentals, the lake is stunning! We are definitely planning to return.

Well this place was definitely the high point of the holiday, great views on a lovely cold and still morning made for some great photos. We went during the week and it was pretty quiet so nearly had the place to ourselves for the first hour but I imagine it can busy at times.

The scenery is breathtaking. The park's cypress swamps are unlike anything you've ever seen before. The trees are draped in Spanish moss, and the water is crystal clear.
The wildlife is amazing. The park is home to a variety of birds, including herons, egrets, and anhingas. You can also see alligators, turtles, and snakes.
The fishing is excellent. The park's lakes and bayous are teeming with fish, including bass, crappie, and catfish.
The hiking is great. The park has a number of trails that wind through the swamps and forests.
The boating is fun. You can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats to explore the park's waterways.
The camping is rustic. The park has a number of campsites that are located in the heart of the wilderness.
The stargazing is incredible. The park is located far from light pollution, so you can see the stars clearly.
The history is rich. The park was once home to the Caddo Indians, and there are a number of historical sites in the park.
The education programs are informative. The park offers a variety of programs that teach visitors about the park's natural history.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The park staff is always happy to answer questions and help visitors make the most of their visit.
One of the best lake tours i have done. $25 per person for 90+ mins is a steal. Do go for this tour if you are there. Captain Ron is very knowledgeable and tells history in details. He is very nice and polite and deals with kids v well.
A MUST do. You may or may not see alligators but i was okay with that. Ample of parking in restaurant parking lot and near Capt Rons swamp tour office. Boat was clean and blankets were available for those feeling cold...

We toured with Captain Ron last December 2022 and loved it! We decided to come back in June 2023 to see the summer colors! They were even more awesome and we saw a number of different channels and parts of Lake Caddo. We will definitely go again. It is a one-of-a-kind breathtaking environment.

Booked the 90 mins Swamp tour at Caddo lake with Captain Ron's Swamp tours. Firstly the booking process was very easy and the prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately a couple of our friends had to cancel at the last moment so I asked if we could get a refund and Jean was happy to issue us a refund without any questions, we really appreciate that. Secondly, we were late by 10-15 but still Ron and Jean accommodated us without any complaints. Once we reached there they welcomed us and quickly took us to the boat and started the tour. Captain Ron started the tour with a warm welcome and because it was windy and chilly he also mentioned they have extra blankets which we can use. He gave us so much information during the entire tour and answered all our questions. The entire ride was very pleasant and informative. I would definitely recommend this.

Just had a tour with Captain Ron today, and it was absolutely an amazing boat tour (nice and clean boat). Not just “highly recommend” but a “must go” if you ever visit Caddo Lake!!! You’ll enjoy the entire 80-90mins of the lake view as well as learn some kind of history n science.
We’ll for sure come back sometime soon, and hopefully alligators and other animals are gonna show up then.

You won’t regret an hour on the water with someone as passionate about the surroundings as Ron. Thank you for a great morning!

1 hour and 20 minutes tour. Good sightseeing of only 1 kind of tree as shown in the photos. Shoud try one time to know. The tour guide is so nice. He is willing to answer any questions of children. $105 for 2 adults and 2 children.

The tour is a relaxing way to see the cypress forest and the wildlife. The captain is super friendly, informative, and skilled. He made sliding between the trees in the large boat feel effortless.

Fabulous tour! Captain Ron effortlessly and passionately educated us on all things Caddo Lake. I especially enjoyed discovering how the tree knees support these amazing structures and how the cypress sap repels mosquitoes!

My daughter and I took a tour with Captain Ron and it was wonderful. He is so kind, calm, and informative. Saw a lot of beautiful waterways and got a lot of tips on navigating and when and where to see wildlife. Can't wait to go again. This tour lived up to every positive review I read. :)
Jubilee Zoo is an amusement center that offers a petting zoo and play area for children. The facility provides opportunities for kids to interact with various animals such as feeding and petting them. Additionally, there are pony rides and bounce houses available for entertainment purposes. A picnic area is also available for families to relax and enjoy some food while their children have fun.
So much for the kids to do here. Had a great time. Plenty of shade. Want to pet a kangaroo or wallaby ? (They hold the cones themselves, so cute ! ) want to bottle feed a baby goat ? This is the place to go. Admission is very reasonable and staff is super nice.

Today, we had a two pony party for our granddaughters and eight of their friends and cousins. Loved loved loved our pony party!! Arrived on time with beautiful well-cared for, well-trained ponies. Daniel and Ben were so good with the kids-they were so patient and kind! I think having the ponies was the best birthday party we have ever had. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. Next time, we will have the ponies and the traveling zoo!! Thank you, Jubilee Zoo, for a very special day!

Great experience, not everyday you get to hangout with some kangaroos. My 2 y/o daughter loved it! The animals are all very sweet and the staff are kind.

We had the Zoo to you plus pony come to our home for a birthday party on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely fantastic! All the kids loved feeding and petting the animals and the pony was great too. This is a family run business and they just do such a wonderful job with the children and animals. We also go to Jubilee Zoo too and that is a real treat for the kids, especially when they go out to feed the animals. I would highly recommend either!

The “Zoo to you” service was rented for a school function. The set up was inhumane. The animals did not have enough room to move, and they were practically on top of each other at some points. The staff could have cared less about the well being of the animals, as when I asked one of them why specifically the bunny enclosure was so small they said that it was “the best that they could do.” Not all of the animals has access to water, and the ones that did had empty water buckets. These empty water buckets were not noticed by the staff but rather by the students at the function, and they were the ones who refilled it. Mind you, it was a 90 degree day outside. The bunnies had a small ice pack to keep them cool in the enclosure that they could not move in. It was not replaced when it melted, even though the staff acknowledged it. I would not recommend booking this service, unless you want your function to be tainted by the mistreatment of animals.

It honestly pains me to give this place only three stars. But, after our last visit, I have no choice. My husband said to give ONE star. But, the first time that we ever went, it was a five star visit. So, I averaged it out by giving three stars. My son had been asking to come back here since the first time we visited last summer & it seemed like every time we tried to go, we got rained out. Then I saw their Facebook post about the little pumpkin patch that they added for fall, with some adorable photo ops. So I thought what a perfect time to take him! My husband does not get off work until 2:45 & we live an hour away so we unfortunately did not get there until right at 4:00. Which is the same time we got here the first time we ever visited & when we were buying the tickets the nice lady informed us that they close at 5:00 & wanted to make sure we still wanted to buy tickets. Which I thought was really, really nice of her! I asked her if we would have to leave right at 5:00 & she said no not until 5:30 or so because they had a lot to do. Well this time that wasn't the case at all. My son was having a great time playing on the bounce houses & had to potty so I didn't even put his shoes back on him, I carried him inside to pee. When we came back out, the bounce houses were completely deflated! My son bawled his eyes out & I gave my husband a look that I rarely give him. So he went inside & told them we would pay extra or do whatever we had to, to have the bounce houses blown back up. Especially because it was only 4:45! So they did, reluctantly & you could tell that they were aggravated. But I know they saw not only my son's shoes still there but all of our stuff! They deliberately deflated them while we were all in the bathroom. Then at two minutes till 5:00, a guy came out & rudely told us to wrap it up!!! I honestly can't even begin to express my disappointment in this trip. We paid $65.00 for basically 30 minutes of play. 😔 We all three left sad, especially my son.
On a POSITIVE note, the pumpkin patch is very small but the photo ops are pretty dang cute. And they have a few neat things setup to do in the barn. We also got to see a kangaroo with a baby it's in a pouch, which was a really neat experience.

Sooo much fun. The kids and myself really enjoyed it. Staff is super friendly. It does not have a barn smell. It's so clean and very well kept. We will be back soon.

We had my daughter’s birthday party there. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of! The petting zoo was super adorable and all the kids and even the adults had a blast. They were able to accommodate all of our requests and helped us decorate and even hang up a piñata. I highly recommend them for any of your kids parties!
Lurah Welch — Google review
Very dirty environment, the poor animals look neglected and are all starving. Very bad conditions for the animals. The blowup bounce house for the kids is huge, but also very dirty. The hay ride was the best experience, we got to feed a camel, zebra, horses and a cow. The kids loved that. Splash pad is a joke. They have 1 blowup unicorn, and that’s it. Miserable in the Texas summer but maybe in the fall/winter it would be ok. I’m honestly surprised those animals are allowed to be tortured in those cages, and the place isn’t shut down.
Natalia Watts — Google review
Was skeptical because of some bad reviews. Got to say we loved it. We had a blast. Most zoos are crowded and corporate atmosphere. This was family friendly and staff made us feel like part of their family. We stayed long enough for the hay ride and it was soooo worth it. Getting kissed by a camel and petting a zebra was awesome! The pizza was really good. The bounce houses were great for my daughter. We even bought a make your own stuffed animal. I am proud that we got to help support such a great place. One of the baby goats got out and chased my daughter down to be pet 😂 they even have a splash pad so bring your swim shorts!

I just want to say this has to be by far the best service, from the best staff, I’ve received. Being pregnant with two minor children the staff offered to help me when they saw me struggling to sign in. Then i felt lightheaded due to the heat and they got me a chair and water and sat me in front of an air conditioner and continuously checked on me. They are an amazing staff ! Highly recommend!!! The hay ride & train rides are great as well. I just wanted to highlight on the quality of the staff !
Destination with a sprawling reservoir for fishing & boating plus campsites & miles of trails.
We love the state parks, especially this one. A long ways off our transit of Interstate 30 but well worth the drive. Friendly helpful staff at the ranger station. Huge sites. Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful lake. Be sure to gas up before coming here.

Spacious sites, lots of coverage on most, we did not choose full hook ups, but very cool that this is an option. Lake is fantastic. Good swimming area.

We visited the park on total eclipse weekend, we booked 4 campsites, 18 people in total. We stayed at white oak loop. The sites were spacious and surrounded by tall and beautiful trees. Bathroom were pretty close, kind of outdated, but clean and functional.
Park is beautiful and well maintained, trails and day use picnic area has a playground for kids, tall trees and amazing view to the lake. Good Wi-Fi, enough for stay connected and maybe join an online business call if needed.
Look forward to come back soon.

I loved this state park! Free Easter Egg hunt was so cute and well-planned. We stayed in the White Oak Ridge loop and tent camped next to family with an RV. Spaces were a little tight with a big group, but I thought they were the perfect amount of distance to interact with your neighbors. Quiet time was respected, if we came with older kids I would bring bikes. So green this time of year! The “playground” is just a swing set, FYI for younger kids.

Beautiful park, well kept. We were there in Nov. 2023, and the fall colors were beautiful. My 10 y/o and 12 y/o daughters had a great time camping and walking the trails. The bathroom was clean, hot water in the shower. We saw white pelicans, deer, feral pigs, large birds of prey (not sure the species), and woodpeckers.

Saw the Atlanta state park on the way to Shreveport. Park ranger gave us 30 min pass to drive around the park. It's a nice kept park. Nice decorated for Christmas. This is the first state park restroom and shower that I experienced has air condition and it is very clean. Beautiful place for canoeing n camping.

We enjoyed our stay at this park. We walked several sections of the trails and seen different viewpoints of the lake. There was a lot of birds on the water, it was neat watching them land and take off again. There is a really neat area to have a picnic or just read a book an relax. The trees were just starting to change colors, so it was really nice to see all the yellow, orange and reds. Restrooms were clean and large most with showers. I believe all the restrooms also had AC/heat in them, which was really nice! All the campsites are within close proximity to the restrooms.

Camped for 3 nights and enjoyed the eclipse. Humongous lake and it's a large park, too. A few good hikes and geocaches, but it's not the most interesting. We fished, flew kites, hiked, and played around the camp site. Nice rangers and a really relaxed place. One of the coolest nearby features outside the park was Antioch farms/ranches, with all sorts of strange animals.

Loved Atlanta State Park in Atlanta, Texas! We went during the middle of March, during my late Spring Break. Beautiful environment with tons of pine trees, hiking trails, and a big beautiful lake. We camped in the camping only section at Knights Bluff, and our campsite was so private and surrounded by trees. There were a couple of other families there, but their tents were set up further away, so we had lots of privacy. Had to walk some to get to the bathroom, it wasn't as close as I had hoped! They have different camping areas for RV's and trailers and a few spots that you can set up a tent within those areas as well. We went whem the weather was beautiful, in the 50's and 60's, although it did drop to the 40's at night but we stayed warm in our tent. Each tent area had electrical and a water hookup, a picnic table, and a fire pit, as well as an outdoor grill. We didn't bring our dogs this time, but they are allowed, and we did hear some dogs barking late at night. We'll try to go back when the weather is warmer so we can swim in the lake! Truly enjoyed our time there with all the hiking we did, campfires, and sleeping under the pine trees!

Stayed 2 nights in the White Oak Ridge Camping area. Don’t recommend this area for RVs. Very short, unlevel sites. Access to the lake by very narrow trail. Minimal view of the lake thru the brush. Lots of mosquitos. Wilkins Creek area where the dump station is has pull-thrus. Same access to lake by trail or down the road to the boat ramp. Restrooms and showers functional with hot water. Otherwise beautiful setting.

Atlanta State Park Texas is a beautiful place to rv. A little wet this stay but very relaxing! Trails are nice but not well marked.
Hope to come back soon!

The park itself is beautiful. Tall pine trees, lots of camping sites. We stayed on site 04 at the knights bluff rv area… the spots aren’t as private for my liking. The staff on the other hand, first time I’m approached by the park rangers in a rude manner, I got yelled at pretty much. There are better ways to communicate with people and yelling really just threw me off. She almost seemed as if she were a police officer/owner of the state park lol. I almost broke a rule without intending to, 🤷♀️ it happens. Restrooms are clean that’s a huge pet peeve for me so I was quite impressed. The fishing area kinda sucks, it smells and the sand is very mushy. It was hard to walk on that side. I didn’t see other areas for fishing besides getting on a boat. Lots of hiking trails I did like that! Lots of spiders and lots of mosquitoes so be aware of that. The first night was very fresh so we didn’t feel mosquitoes around us, but that 3rd night it was warmer so we got bit like crazy lol. I think I’ll only be visiting that park in the chilly fall or chilly springs, before mosquitoes invade. Other than that, nice little park away from the big crowds! Ps, I took 2 stars off for the Park rangers.
Monster of a expirence...its a one stop shop for monster/bigfoot merchandise.
Staff and locals are super friendly and may even swap a story or local sighting spot with you.
I highly reccomend a stop at monster mart ...did i mention they have a mini museum of plaster bigfoot cast and movie memorabilia as well as photo opportunities.
K Train — Google review
I had watched The Legend of Boggy Creek when I was seven years old in the UK, and after 40 years of wanting to visit, I finally got to travel to Fouke.
The Monster Mart is everything I wanted it to be and more. It is part store where you can buy many things Bigfoot, as well as general groceries/Drinks. The best bit though is the wonderful museum, with fantastic displays and lots of knowledgeable information. It has sighting reports, photos and info on the movie, as well as the recent Small Town Monsters production display. Even if you are not into Bigfoot, this Mart is truly one you shouldn't surpass if you are anywhere near. Or make a special visit, as you won’t regret it.
I luckily managed to meet the owner Denny, who was amazing. We chatted for quite some time, and took photos. He is truly knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome, as did his wife, Brenda, who was also lovely.
Although Denny was busy, as he had a TV crew arriving the next day, he made sure that he answered every question and told me many stories which was so much appreciated. Took photos of us outside and made sure we knew where some of the recent hot spots were, and local places to visit. It was truly a fantastic visit, and I really want to thank Denny, Brenda and staff for making us all feel so welcome, and letting us spend all the time we needed.
I really can’t wait to go back!

OMG! What an absolutely awesome place. So many cool things about it. The service was great, the workers were very friendly and helpful. The museum is filled with so many neat things despite its size. There’s so much to see and look at, and you learn a lot too. The gift shop has many cool items to pick from. And the lil pizzas they have at the convenience section we’re actually very tasty!! So so so many awesome photo opps, how can you not take pictures outside with Bigfoot? Can’t wait to go back, and definitely recommend to anyone in the area or driving through! (:

This little store and museum is really awesome for the bigfoot enthusiast. Tons of merch from t-shirts, magnets, decals, tumblers, you name it, they have a bigfoot on it! The little museum has some great displays and historical memorabilia from the little town and the Fouke Monster lore. If you're passing anywhere near Fouke, take the detour and stop in. Their Pizza is also GREAT!

Fun stop featuring a one room museum with "artifacts" from the Boggy Creek Monster allegedly seen in May 1971. A movie was made later that year and released in 1972 based on the family story.
Purchase merchandise with the monster or Bigfoot ranging from postcards and magnets to sweatshirts and hats to Band-Aids and even socks.
The Mart consists of two gas pumps and standard gas station fare.
Interesting locally lore and friendly cashiers make this a place to visit when driving through the area!

Great side tour when heading up to Texarkana. Very interesting exhibits and kind staff.
Elegant, early 20th-century theater hosting concerts, musicals, plays & other performances.
Beautiful old theater. Very nostalgic. They put on a variety of great shows.
Dee Simmons — Google review
As one who enjoys the theatre, the time that goes into it, the work that goes into, and the ability of great to bring the audience into it. This is not one of them!!
This was for family and friends of the family.
80% of the audience was family and fringed of all the kids. This was a high school level show. Sorry... it just is and was.
Now...
Okay the issues..
The building;
Seating is bad. The seating is lined behind the seating inn front of it not off set so you do not have to look at the back of heads.
The public;
If you go to the theatre you should know there is an etiquette about it. Sadly, this understanding is lacking in much of the public.
I will seek other presentations of The Nutcracker.
Cheers...

This is a rare Volvo on the street. We had two vehicles of this brand. And loved each one. The Jurassic movie with a concert was expensive. But we'll worth it. It felt like when these musicians make music for the big movie productions. This was there second time doing this. What was cool was the great standing ovation. The bathrooms for the venue doesn't work for such a large crowd. Needs somebody to come up with a plan.

Beautiful wedding venue. The backyard is large enough for the ceremony and the reception, the trees come down low enough that you can decorate them with lights and create a very pretty backdrops. The billing itself is very photogenic for pictures and has a very nice walkway for the bridal party to come down on. The parking is good for a smaller scale wedding. They have bathrooms and an indoor space for catering to keep the food.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the museum as an event venue. It has a lot of potential for any size party!

The docent was amazing!! I’ve been to every historical home from the castles of Europe to the Biltmore. I did my homework on this place. From the dates of the first of door knobs and the internal latching system 1878, but made it very clear the ones in her beloved Ace were 1885 or later. This young lady made the tour comfortable for my mother. She carried a chair from room to room for us. She made the house come alive!! The Draughon Room… the gas light flicker. This young lady gave us chills. I recommend this house hands down. She was a pleasure, a real sweetheart. Getting a group together sooner than later!

We took several family pictures here.
Main draw for us was just the state line photo opportunity - we didn't go inside because we went when it was closed.
We went on a Sunday morning. It was easy to park and easy to take several pictures. One couple stopped while we were there and we took pictures of each others family. But other than that it was relatively vacant.
There was another memorial around the corner (easy walking distance) and across the street; that had Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana State Flags all together.
And a neat old church across from the postoffice - St. James Church. I don't know anything about it - but it looked neat from the outside.
Also a confed monument when we went over by the church.

A very beautiful camp. The views of the sunset over the lake here are priceless. The water did have a funny smell and taste perhaps it was too much chlorine or something, and swimming is discouraged due to the lakes population of Alligators, we seen one swimming along the dam while we were here it was really cool honestly. The wildlife and biodiversity are super abundant, this place is a little slice of the everglades or something.

Great stay, regardless of the triple digit temps. Her name escapes me, but the lady at the visitors center was very knowledgeable and sweet. Camp ground was in great shape and pretty clean. The sites seem very close together with little room to park. That is my only real complaint. We stayed for 3 nights and there really wasn't many people there (heat possibly) Too hot to hike so can't say much on the trails. This is a recreational park like no other, no swimming, no personal water craft, no wake boats, makes for an all round great time of fishing and site seeing, (bird & gator watching)
Oh yeah, the showers are terrible. You almost have to lean up against the wall to get under the head.
That being said, we will certainly be back....when its cooler and the fish cooperate.
I gave 4 stars bc of the sites & the showers. I'd really like to give it 4.5 stars, but....

I always enjoy visiting the State Park at Millwood. Sometimes, I just drive through the campgrounds just because.. and that's what I did this time. I had my puppy with me. Rolled down the window for him, and we slowly rolled through. Not a soul was camping. It was so quiet... and peaceful. The Canadian Geese were out and about walking around. There was 1 person at the boat ramp that I could see. It's a few dollars more than the other campgrounds but then again it's worth it. They spray for bugs. When we stayed at Cottonshed, on the other side of the lake, the mosquitos were so big they could carry you off. Also you pay for that service. Another one that I like is it is patrolled. The police and game wardens drive through to check the scene
I absolutely loved this quiet little park. The sustainable elements for the green building are what every State Park should strive for. The interactive, self guided tour in the Visitors Center was fun and knowledgeable. The outdoor amphitheaters were beautifully set into the landscape.

Logoly tries hard, but it is only for a day visit. The pond has drained and needs fixing. The State Park system can never seem to get around to it. I do like hiking the trails.

Wonderful park! We are from Houston, TX and we coming to Logoly every time we come to Magnolia to visit family. Great playground for the kids and the trails are suitable for kids of all ages.

Wonderful state park with friendly and informative staff. Beautiful well preserved old growth forest. Highly recommend all the trails as they are easy and can be done in an afternoon. Make sure to visit the visitor center and check out their displays they even have an indoor behive!

It appears to be a small state park. Has a new visitor center and nice play area for the kids. A few short hiking trails. No areas for camping, day use only.

This is the really small Lake and I was there when the sun is setting out I was like fishing more than two hours but I am not catch any of the fish. Don’t know why maybe the lake don’t have the fish or I don’t know but it’s so hard to fishing in the lake Coming to the fishing it’s not recommended but if you want to chill out, you have a long Trail around the lake and you can have a great great great time. Walking all around the lake and you may hear few gunshots. Maybe there are hunters but those are some scary you know you are in some mood and you just want to enjoy the weather. The nature The time but unfortunately you hear the big long-range gun shots just nearby. I’m not sure how far is that but you hear you feel like it’s just nearby. That’s only one thing I got everything is fine. Rest of the all things are good and the park says it will be closing at the sunset but I know it’s never mind you can any time I’ve been there two times after sunset. It’s around 8 PM which is chilling out with friends. Having some beer but I don’t know having beer is legal or not but we were just having some booze that’s it

Its a neat Arkansas State Park. They got a nice trail and area to have a picnic. They got a little lake with trails. There is some history about the springs there. The museum has some interesting things in it. They do have a nice gift shop.

What a great State Park! We loved the educational part of the visitor center, what an awesome hands on for both kids & adults. The gift shop was filled with much needed drinks after a great walk through the trails. There are plenty of picnic tables for grabbing a bite to eat & a playground kids to play. What a wonderful place to spend outdoors!

Cool little state park, really nice folks there, nice trails with springs. Dont go when its real dry or you will miss the springs. The vistors center is 1st of its kind, I believe completely energy independent. Like most state parks it really could benefit from some volunteers.

This is a neat little state park. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. We (large group, pre-arranged) had a presentation on snakes by one of their interpreters and it was fantastic. We all learned so much, children and adults alike.
The facility is well maintained and always clean. There is even a nice little playground that the kids love.
We didn't do the trails this time, but we do enjoy walking down to the pond. There are usually some interesting birds or other wildlife.

So this is a fun find. They give guided tours of the house. Ours had lots of info on the stories & life he live here. The museum part is very good also. There are a few things to visit in area so well worth the trip.

The tour was very informative. The workers seemed like they enjoyed their job. I actually visited the Clinton Library in Little Rock the day before. There are a few differences in the information being put out. I arrived after the start of the last tour. The park ranger/tour guide gave me a tour anyway. I would recommend visiting. It's free.

Small gift shop. Many of the displays are placards of President Clinton and his family. We saw the inside of his birth home. The first floor consists of three rooms and no original furniture. The only item from his early childhood is a child's book which I didn't get to see. The Rangers were nice though.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The visitor centre is tiny, but there is a never better place to learn about the early life of President Clinton. Highly recommend to start with the introductory video followed by an in-depth tour delivered by a ranger. The president lost his biological dad to a car accident and this is how he later inherited the family name Clinton from his step-dad. The care and love he received has determined his character, with an inclusive grandfather in the segregated era, and a hard-working mother. Most of the items in his birthplace house are not the originals, but from the time. I like the number cards which reflect how important his grandmother consider education is.

I decided last minute to stop here on a cross country trip and was so glad I did. I got a private tour of the house since there was no one else visiting and the ranger who led the tour was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything. She made my experience so fun! I spent about an hour here which was a nice break from driving all day.

Gained a lot more appreciation. These park services are amazing. The site needs more funding to match the National Park standards we've come to highly appreciate as of March 2024. The staff made it engaging and meaningful. The visitor center and bathrooms have ramps. There's a fairly big rectangle parking lot for RVs.

Surprisingly a lot more fun than I first expected but, you must take a tour with a park ranger. Especially to get a tour of the house the actual childhood home. The visitor center is just a random home adjacent the property. Thank you Ranger Cody, he did an amazing job showing us around and was able to answer all my questions.

This place is SMALL. like most suburban he would have more room and yardage. But the tour was amazing!!! Our tour guide was local.to the area, so it was literally listening to someone who grew up in the area during the time the Bill lived here. Absolutely worth the stop just to listen to her. The house is restored to period and if you tmhave a thing for vintage living this is also a great place to peek around at wallpaper, decor, layout, etc. Not really worth a trip on its own, this is a great place to stop on a road trip or if your going to be spending the day in Hope.

June 11, 2017: A small place but packed with information. I visited during the week and there were just a handful of people there but it is located in the town so it was a little confusing for maybe 3 minutes on where to park. The grounds were very well kept, very pretty. The Park staff were very knowledgeable. I walked around the home and grounds. I found it interesting that there were several things dedicated to his mother but not much of anything dedicated to his wife. Maybe because it was his birth home.

We decided to make a pit stop and so glad we did! America is just awesome! And we were given the tour by Jenny! Thanks Jenny for spending time with is
This 101-acre state park features 54 pioneer-era buildings, including a courthouse & a bank.
This is a nice way to spend a Saturday we came down to the festival and walk around the town looking at all the old building and museum. This place could be a complete reenactment place for the 1800 were everyone could dress up and learn about the period.

Very cool place if you like history. We have traveled all over the USA and seen thousands of cemeteries but this one had something we've never seen. 3 revolutionary War Graves. The blacksmith was awsome and taught us some new tricks to making things out of steel.
James Smith — Google review
I could write so much about this place, but mostly about it's potential. It literally has as much to offer as Colonial Williamsburg, just not quite as old as that. But at present because of covid, in part, just a few buildings are open. They offer several tours a day, which are well worth your time, there is an excellent restaurant, I added pictures of the food which was superb and reasonably priced, and they have a very nice bed and breakfast and the old jailhouse. It is a full breakfast and quite a value at $110 a night for queen room. My son loved the huge magnolia tree and the blacksmith who is a very nice guy and addition to being highly skilled. If you have never been to this park and you love history, this is a must-see. It's just 15 minutes off of I-30, so people crossing country should plan to do lunch here and take about an hour or two to take in the park. It is free to enter, but tours do have a small price. I hope everyone who has made it this far in this review will determine to go see this place and encourage the Arkansas Parks Department to put more money toward this park with such amazing potential.
Donna Schillinger — Google review
It is a beautiful state park but unfortunately the way that they allow you to see inside the houses is a little disappointing. They have different tours that you can go on at different times during the day Each tour has 3 places that you get to visit and go inside. It is worth seeing if you are in the area. There is a lot to see without going on a tour.

You need to check this place out and expect to be there all day. The whole town is a step back into the past. Be sure and go by the blacksmith for a great demonstration. There are also some notable trees that are majestic.
The tour guides where very good.

We didn't have much time to spend here, and now I KNOW we have to come back! This is definitely a park to spend the entire day at. We weren't able to take advantage of the carriage ride nor the tour guide, but for the prices, we will definitely do these next visit! Because we didn't do the tour guides, we were only able to view the buildings from the outside, and I will say without a guide, I KNOW we missed several of the buildings. We were able to walk around inside the new courthouse which is now the gift store/museum. There was so much to see inside and read about! We started here and tried to follow the map we received inside. We drove by several of the places which my pictures are too blurry to post. The ones were stopped at, I'll include pictures below. The largest magnolia tree you'll ever see is here, and it was beyond words! It felt like you were walking into a secret garden entrance, I totally could've had a picnic lunch here! The blacksmith shop is where the bowie knife was first made. The guy in there was incredible to visit with and we enjoyed his demonstrations! The school and some of the other buildings were nice to see. We seen the "moon" tree and a couple other historic trees in the area! Everything is rather easy to get to once you know where you are going. We'd like to see the candle shop, print shop, and fire dept for sure next visit. We're looking into staying at the Jailhouse BnB and enjoying a meal at the Tavern.

This place was awesome. I had the most fun I think. They offer tours of the different buildings and it was the coolest thing to go through and see. We did not have time to stay the whole day so we missed parts of the tours. But we will definitely go back to revisit and experience that aspect. Also, it is Home to the awesome maker of the Bowie Knife. Pretty cool stuff if you like history. Staff were super informative and very friendly. You could tell they enjoyed being there. They all Offered help and discussion as soon as you walked past the door. And there is a neat little gift shop at the end. We loved this place. Highly recommend a visit, take the day if you want to do the different tours.

The people that work this park are very knowledgeable and so helpful! We stayed at the Jail b&b - nice place and breakfast was great ! We did several tours. The food at the Tavern was very good also. We had a very good time here ! My car messed up and we were stranded- Mrs. Sheila went above and beyond to help us out. If you have AT&T cell service expect very very minimal service here.
We has so much fun here!!! Learning about the different periods they lived through and then getting to dig for crystals and arrowheads. I highly recommend getting the any of the buckets you can choose from! Grandkids had a blast going through their buckets and finding all the goodies in there. And the staff, 2 young men were phenomenal!!! They were so nice and helpful and we really appreciate it.

This is a really cool place to get some lessons about history. Mound complexes with pottery jars, skeletal remains, tools and pipes. There's alot of other things left behind from over 1,000 years ago. In the gift shop you can buy drums, moccasins, bows and arrows, gems, chrystals, arrowheads and other hand made items. You can also dig for gems and arrowheads and keep what you find. Definitely a great place to stop and take a look.

Cute little museum off the beaten path. Crater of diamonds was too busy so we took a detour and we did not regret it! The staff were nice and welcoming. The kids had fun digging and we had a great time viewing the beautiful gems and rock collection they had.

This is a wonderful place to visit to learn about local Native American history. They have some terrific options for finding your own gems or for sifting through buckets where they already include gems, arrowheads, and a tiny diamond. My daughter was so happy to go through a bucket, and the history is fascinating.

We had a nice time here checking out the Indian burial grounds and museum. Only thing I wish we would have picked a cooler day to dig for minerals and arrowheads. They also have a Metal detection area that is neat for find artifacts. The gift shop has lots of neat gifts as well . All and all its a good place to visit if your into natural Indian history

It is a fun place to spend time with family. The museum or arrowheads and other historical facts and items were educational. I never knew how many arrowheads there were. The history and details, including regional differences were well researched. The digging was fun. I also liked the history and display of the Indian mounds.

Very friendly employees, more than willing to help. Everything was explained in detail, and so much to do! My son and I purchased one of the buckets, and we found plenty of arrowheads, shark teeth, and a small diamond! You can go on a tour, and they even offer metal detectors to find things. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Went a couple years ago. We definitely look forward to going again. Loved digging for rocks, arrowheads, and pottery. We did buy a bucket for $100 to wash in the sloosh outside. Well worth it. Nice looking arrowheads, shark teeth, different stones, pottery, and fossils. Fun for all ages.

Another find on our way home. This is a great place to learn more about Native American history. The tour is very interesting!!! Great gift shop. Very friendly staff

For the price of admittance, it was pretty cool. There are three main burial mounds areas which you could easily work through in about twenty minutes. It was neat seeing the skeletons!
The kids walked through the museum area in about 7 minutes, but they weren't very interested in ancient pottery and tools.
I personally had no interest in digging in the dirt or metal detecting after 2.5 days at the diamond mines, so we didn't do that for long.
Honestly, the shop was the coolest part, side from seeing the skeletons in the burial mounds. My wife grabbed some cut quartz earrings (much cheaper than diamonds and just as pretty), and the kids got some rock candy and trinkets. They have tons of gems and stones for sale.
I really wish we would have come here before the diamond mines so we would have had a better idea of what to look for when we were sifting through all of our material. They have some of the diamonds found from the mine on display.

We stopped here during our Murfreesboro vacation. Very interesting history to learn about and museum to walk through with the historic mounds outside.
We spent about an hour searching the field they have. We were able to find some cool things. Tons of tiny crystals and colorful rocks. We were even able to find 6 arrow heads out in the field.
Of course we did the Gemstone Adventure. With a medium sized bucket the kids were able to find plenty of polished gemstones and handful of shark teeth. The shop also has tons of treasures to buy before you leave.
It was a nice stop for the kids to be able to actually find something searching through the dirt.

This place has multiple things to do and see. The yearly metal detecting event they throw every year is amazing. You can't beat it! I. A little expensive at $300. But there's not one I've heard of that does as big of prizes.
James Dismang (TheDizz) — Google review
It's a fun little place, probably more fun if you have little kids. My son is 11 and we didn't spend much time here. Most everything in the store is commercialized/made in China type stuff. Lots of fake items...but some neat stuff. The museum was ok, needs to be updated or just cleaned up a little. The guy at the counter was super nice and very knowledgeable. If you're in town I do recommend stopping, just to check it out!
Crater of Diamonds State Park is a distinctive geological attraction situated on more than 37 acres of land. It offers visitors the opportunity to search for diamonds, rocks and minerals in a thrilling treasure hunt experience. The park also boasts a well-maintained campground with access to excellent shower facilities and picturesque walking trails leading to nearby rivers. Although camping fees may be considered expensive at $42 per night, overall, Crater of Diamonds State Park is an enjoyable destination worth visiting again in the future.
Campground is a little pricey at $42 a night but we still had a great time. Shower house was some of the best I’ve seen and there’s nice walking trail to the river nearby. And of course the thrill of the hunt for diamonds! We would stay again

While the allure is to get rich quick, your chances of finding anything other than sweat and a fun time are pretty low.
That said, the cost to enter and dig ($10) was reasonable as was the cost to rent the tools ($15 for the full bundle but you can rent a la carte as well - note that a higher deposit is required but then returned).
Getting there early is a must to secure a spot at the water trough. Since there is almost no shade anywhere except the pavilions, bring a hat at the very least and a lot of drinking water. Heatstroke can creep up on you very easily because your hands feel cool when they are in the water.
El — Google review
It's was fun and challenging. You got to be there early if you visit during the summer so you'll get some shade. Other than that it is hot and you need to bring a lot of water and some things to give you shade. Also lots of sunscreen. If you are worried about the tools and other stuff you want to use for digging, they got it for rent. So just bring some clothes you are not worried about getting dirty, bring snacks and lots of drinks for hydration.

This was fun. Everyone was friendly. Staff are very professional. I could bring my dog with me. I camped, and the campground was well kept, and well patrolled. Can't give it 5 stars because, well, it was crowded. I thought coming in the off season would be a quieter experience, but I was wrong! Also, a gigantic family took the campsite next to mine on the second day of my visit (like 3-4 tents full and a floodlight/speaker) and were loud and obnoxious. Also, as another reviewer put it, some visitors are "all in" trying to get rich finding a diamond. I was just here to fiddle around, camp, and maybe find some crystals. I think it would be more fun to bring kiddos here and let them have a big time digging, hiking, and hanging out at the water park. Overall, though, it's a good place. Definitely felt safe.

This was a cool experience! We did go on a weekend in spring, but decided to go early. We got there when it opened, and saw online that you could rent everything for the day or bring your own items to dig. Dig. Since we were from out of the area, we did rent everything from the state park. Park. The only thing that we brought were gloves, we decided to stop and get gardening gloves ahead of time. I'm kind of glad we did! It was pretty cold that morning, and that really saved our fingers. For checking out the items, they require you to make a larger down payment but then you do get some of it back for returning the items clean. I think we got a bucket, some pans, and then a shovel. That was pretty much all we needed.
We decided to head out into one of the farther corners of the designated space. We spent a little over an hour and a half perusing the areas. It was pretty fun to do as a family! We found a variety of different stones, and then when you bring the items back to check them in, they do have somebody sitting at a counter helping you determine what type of gems and stones you find. We didn't find anything worth money, but we did find some neat rocks.
Some helpful hints, if you have kids they will get muddy. When we went, it didn't rain for a few days, but both of our preteen kids got full of mud. They were even trying to stay out of the mud and they still got mud all over them. So I would recommend bringing a change of shoes and or clothes along. Probably a good idea to wear older clothes as well. Another good idea would be to bring a bag or something to store your rocks and gems in after you're done digging. Luckily we had a ziploc bag in the car, and we were able to store what we decided to take with us. We didn't think of that ahead of time. Would recommend going early if you can, as we were leaving later, buses of people were arriving. It definitely got busy!
They did have a nature center, gift shop, and good size parking lot. The people we encountered were very helpful and friendly.
Overall it was a very cool experience and we were glad we did it.

We didn't stay this time to mine/dig for diamonds, but did enjoy the River trail. It was really nice to see the paved ADA trail for over half the trail. The 2 fitness spots were nice as well. The placards along the trail were some of the best I've seen, and were very informative. Loved the footprint and leaf ones! The river view was nice, but wished there was a dock or pier to go out on. The non-paved part was really nice too, like you're a kid playing in the woods! Wear repellent for sure. Very easy & quick trail. Walked the short wildlife viewing trail as well. Didn't see any wildlife, might be nice to have some feeders for them to draw them in. Was a nice clearly marked trail. The campsites were nature friendly & tucked away, not right on top of each other. The visitor center didn't have much in stock, but was very informative as far as the history of the park and how to know you found a diamond.

This is a cool place to bring the family and just have fun. You can rent equipment or bring your own. Digging all day looking for rocks, gems and diamonds. Finders keepers on anything you dig up. Has a water station to sift through the dirt you dig up, places to sit and cool off and stations to refill your water bottles. A cool gift shop plus some info and interactive places to learn more about what you can find. Has a water park to cool of in afterwards.

Very fun experience. The location was beautiful. The park had very informative information and provided beginner digging tools. Would highly recommend a visit. Gear to bring would include a chart to carry food and refreshments. Boony hats, sun tan lotion, and some type of sun shade covering. Digging equipment would suggest bringing a regular shovel or picking one up on the way.
Justice League — Google review
I really want to rate this 5 stars and brag about it, but it’s not my thing. We saw lots of folks that were “all in” on the concept, likely locals that have easy access to the place and can just visit whenever.
It’s essentially a large plowed field - it’s quite a few acres- and you’re just digging/sifting through mud or dirt. There’s no rock (for the most part) to scrape at and find the next big diamond. You’re just sifting through dirt in hopes that you’ll find something.
I lost interest after about an hour and really tried to make the most of it. But unless this is your “thing” you won’t likely enjoy it as much as diehards do. It was mind numbing.
Saving grace? The staff inside the shop were super duper helpful and friendly. The gift shop had quite a few fun things so that was cool. The staff out back are able to help you identify anything you find, so that’s cool.
I have no interest in returning and would be unlikely to recommend this to anyone who approached me specifically about it.
Aaron Barbee (A-A-Ron) — Google review
This was a very interesting and educational visit. While we didn't find any diamonds we still got the thrill of the hunt. My teen kids who normally don't go outside had fun digging and sifting.
It would be nice if there was more drinks and snacks but a town isn't too far away and there may be more available during the summer.
They post info on finds, last rain, and last plowing. You should do a little walk around and find a place not as well traversed to increase your chances. Overall a fun afternoon of family fun.

This is a fun place to visit! There was a 7.46 carat Brown diamond found the day we visited! It's amazing that diamonds are continually found and the park is 'Finders keepers'!
They have done a great job with this park. There is a museum that tells the history or the park, previous diamonds found, and how they recommend finding them. There is a small souvenir shop too. The park also has a place to rent equipment for diamond hunting. We did use their equipment and it was in great shape for us amateurs.
There is also a pool and kids area for warm weather fun! The park is beautiful and God did an amazing job creating this place!
This is a great place to bring kids.
I will be back to camp, spend more time here, and hunt for diamonds!

We had so much fun. I have plenty of recommendations including a requirement to wear rain boots of some sort. That would be my only issue as I went straight to the mud then went to the dry spot. Also look at images of diamonds in a pile. You really will know if it’s a diamond vs quartz, crystals, or glass. We can’t wait to go back.

We were there first week of January. Took two of my grand kids to look for gems. We like to look for stones on the beach, so I thought this would be fun. We didn't find anything but we had fun being there and trying. It was a bit chilly and some parts were muddy, but the sunshine helped. The visitor center is very informative and helpful. We brought are own tools, shovels, rakes and sifters and our chairs. Took a break and had lunch in our car, it was windy and chilly and gave us time to warm up a bit before heading back out.

A unique park, to say the least. We spent three hours here, mainly digging in the dirt. We found several gemstones and many neat rocks.
There's a nice gift shop with very polite employees. You can purchase basic digging supplies (bucket, bag, spade/scoop). There are restrooms here. A splash pad/water area. Trails. A restaurant that was closed by the time we got there. Picnic tables and shaded areas outside the crater. Plenty of parking.
It was a tad disappointing that they close down at 4:00 p.m. We had a long drive, and got there later than expected. We would have liked to stay another few hours, but we're pretty happy with what we found in our time there.
Well worth visiting! We'll go back again (hopefully much earlier in the day) next time we're in the area.
There are several Pokestops and gyms here.

Very nicely laid out. Our first time, and didn't have much time so went through with only our hands to dig. Some brought beach wagons, recommended if can. A sturdy small shovel or small garden tools recommended. Some sort of sifting, like a beach perforated bucket. You can rent the tools there. Plenty of rinsing stations in the field (don't rinse rocks at the exit showers, that's a no no) Very informative stations and staff at the entrance pavilion. Nice!

Very clean and nice park. Five star for the bathrooms in the camp grounds. The most clean and convenient bathrooms from all kind of parks I ever visited so far. I never forget my boy thrown up right away when opened the bathroom door in one of the famous national parks when he was little. Camped two nights and dig one day for diamond there. Though didn’t get luck but had so much fun there. The raccoon 🦝 stolen our whole bag of 🥜 at night and came back the next day to finish the leftover and eat half of our neighbors lunch :-) Will definitely come back again, for diamond and fun!

This is a neat park. The RV park looks nice and clean. The check in for the park is at the visitor center which is not ideal for large rigs due to the tighter turn around you have to do. The diamond mine is cool and is worth doing at least once. They also have a small little water park.
Cell reception is horrible for T-mobile. Verizon was fine though.

This has been on my bucket list for a number of years. I can now cross it off.
We had fun, even though we didn't find anything of consequence.
Be sure to wear appropriate clothing, and footwear. Don't forget sunscreen, and a ball cap or visor to keep the sun out of your eyes. You can rent tools from the facility, though I do recommend bringing plastic baggies for your finds.

Enjoyed our visit to the diamond field. For an entrance fee we hunted for diamonds all day, either by looking for them on the surface of the ground or digging then sifting the dirt to expose them. Tools are available the park and in town to rent if you don’t have your own. Unfortunately we didn’t find any diamonds but others did. Rangers are on site to look at and identify the stones you collect. It was fun and relaxing just exploring the field and hunting. Maybe we’ll have better luck on our next visit!

I usually give out 5 stars like candy, but I was not impressed with this place. I can at least say I did it, but not something I would do again.
It’s $12 to be able to dig. You then have to rent equipment if you don’t have your own. I knew this from reading other reviews, but I didn’t realize you don’t get everything back. I rented the basic equipment and it was $60 with $45 refundable. So $27 to try to find a diamond.
I see other reviews about not going when it’s too hot, I would also recommend not going when it’s too cold. The ground was wet from rain 3 days ago and my fingers went numb quickly.
I just don’t really see the appeal but there were people there who clearly go often, so I recommend trying it and seeing which side you land on.

Such a fun experience digging for diamonds.
Our family spent hours and came up with some interesting rocks, lots of quartz, & a peridot. Overall a fun time.
We camped there as well and the facilities were great! Wish they had a laundry facility because you do get dirty.

I love coming to this park. Even though I still have not found a diamond there is still nice stones and Jasper to collect. It’s a great way to spend the day. The women who work in the shop are incredibly kind. I love that they have an area to wash all the mud off your shoes and tools. The mud here is very sticky. It’s interesting how when dirt changes all over the park. Some has lots of small pretty colored rocks, some looks super volcanic and another section is super white sand. The water stations makes sifting much easier. Big clean bathrooms was nice too.

Amazing! I went with my family and it was so very fun! If I can, I would love to come back here someday. It is about 15 dollars per person to get in, cheap! Rentals were not too expensive, ot will sound like a lot, but you get most back when you return the tools. But wear clothes you're ok with getting dirty! It's a dirty activity, but very fun.

A big deep plowed field you can explore for precious stones for a reasonable fee. You can walk, dig, or wet pan sand for a fortune. Bring (unless you want to rent them) a shovel, sifters, chairs, and a cart that can traverse dirt and mud. Pets are welcome on a leash. There are plenty of amenities and the employees are nice. There is a small gift shop, equipment rental, stone identification desk, clean restrooms, and a food truck. It's a good place to bring young kids who love dirt and geology or need to get some energy out. It was 80 degrees and overcast when we went. That's as warm as I could handle digging in the field. There is a water park, but it wasn't open (call if you want to get open information). I highly recommend visiting, it's worth the drive. We even saw a marriage proposal (pics and video).

People seem to be all in or totally unimpressed. Some people bring the works, wagons, sifters, buckets, pop up tents, shovels, and mine like it's their job. Others bring or rent a few things and give it the old modest effort. We found absolutely nothing of interest. Neat experience, won't repeat.

We enjoyed the hike and state park. The hiking path on one side was nicely paved. The way back has an awesome nature trail with great picture opportunities. We took more time on the way back and noticed all the trees, flora, water, etc. The campground and diamond digging experience is something to do at the park.
Monique Ramos — Google review
In my opinion, SKIP IT, it's a complete waste of time and the experience isn't even fun. Just to put it into perspective, between 1972 and 2023, you have a 0.76% chance of finding a diamond, which are generally the size of a pinhole, and only 0.02% chance of one over 1 carat, and this includes all the professional diamond hunters, locals and youtubers who spend countless hours searching. So you would think, I just want to do it for the experience, well that's not fun either, it's a lot of work with likely no reward. Best bet if you must go, go take your pics waste $15 per person, search for a few minutes in the dirt and sun and then go do something more productive with your day. My suggestion is to go an hour away from here to the crystal mines on Mount Ida where you can actually have a fun experience and not leave empty handed.
Plenty of details about the battle that took place there. Was late in the afternoon when I visited so I opted not to walk the nature trail. Paved parking. Well lit. No facilities.

This was a great place to stop and get out to stretch our legs on the road. The history was very interesting and we loved the short nature trail that followed the spring.

No visitors center, but there is a little trail and you can call a number for self guided tours. There was a brochure about it at nearby White Oak State Park, if you want to stop there first.
Also, if you're collecting stamps from all of the Arkansas state parks to puuit in your book, make sure you bring a pencil so you can do a rubbing at the stamp station.

Beautiful little historical stop, nature trail, and picnic spot near White Oak Lake State Park.
Reservoir with waterfront parks & camping sites, popular for boating, fishing & wakeboarding.
Such an underrated lake! Spent my 4th of july weekend here - it was amazing!
The area is very green, the water is clear and you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating, and fishing.
Not crowded even in 4th of July.
The lake is large and you can "park" is a cove and have plenty of privacy.

Stayed at Parker Creek Campground. A beautiful campground, very quiet and peaceful in the fall. Host was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. He had great recommendations. Only con was like other corp campgrounds we have visited lately, the sites are not being cleaned as well as they used to be. Other maintenance, mowing, tree trimming, etc is being done so this campground has been a favorite in our travels so far.

Corey, Ben, and Ashley were super helpful during our trip to Arkansas. We'd called the day before asking if they offered shuttle services for paddleboards and Corey strongly advised against it with the low flow. Good call because even in the canoe we rented from them it was a bit rocky. Still an enjoyable paddle and Ben and Corey offered some extra local intel for other outdoors activities to do in the area. Super friendly staff, too

We went kayaking on July 4, 2022. We were the first ones on the river. We were told pull out is a big rock but there was no one at said big rock and we missed it. We made it to the said big rock in 1.5 hours when told it was a 4 hour float. Since no one was there and was no where near a 4 hour float we kept going. No one said there is a fee for passing the rock. No one cared when we called freaking out that we had been going for 6 hours and literally were at a point of dehydration and exhaustion. Only cared about charging us an additional $100. The only person that cared was the bus driver that came to get us. If there's a chance you could get lost or hurt don't count on them to help in anyway. All this place cares about is your money.

Very disappointed our last trip. We took a group of Boy Scouts for the weekend our reservation were completely messed up and split. The campground was overcrowded and noisy till after 3am. There was no support from management. We were rudely we could leave whenever we wanted to. Without a refund. Then we were double charged for equipment rental. It’s sad this used to be a great place for families and such to go but it’s definitely not anymore

This is the second summer in a row that we have used this company to float the Caddo River. Last summer was fun, but this year was even better!! First, we only had to get out and walk once, at the second bend (where the sign states "stay right")...the rest of the way was easy floating! But what led me to leave a review was the improvement in customer service!
Last year we had to cart our tubes from the covered area to the launch site. This year our tubes were delivered to our vehicle (which was near the launch site). Also, all of our tubes were fully aired, unlike last year.
This year, instead of carrying our tubes up the hill at the end of the float, we were allowed to leave them at the shore. Then, after a full day of tubing, we gladly accepted the offered assistance from the employees to carry our cooler up to the bus at the conclusion of the trip. Ben, Cade, and Skylar are the epitome of great southern hospitality! I hope to see them next summer!
The only critique I can think of is that I would like to see a larger selection of life vests, especially for plus-size floaters!
Thanks for the great memories, Caddo River Camping and Canoe!

Ok... I've been on lots of rivers and lakes, never the Caddo. What a nice river! Most of the river is wooded on the shoreline. However, we were told there is private property along the river and to stay on the rock bars. No biggie and I don't blame the property owners. We saw only a few houses. I would say it looks very similar to the lower Buffalo river but on a smaller scale. I thought the prices were fair, the staff very friendly and parking safe. We started in their private parking and floated down 4.5 miles or so. When you get to the "big rock" in the middle of the river you are near the end. Trust me, you will know the big rock when you see it. As soon as we finished the float, the bus was there to take us back. Maybe a 15-20 minute ride back. Some of it on a dusty road. We rented a single kayak, double kayak and a canoe. The kayaks were fine but most canoes we saw had many miles on them and were worn. Would I be back with this outfitter and float the Caddo?? Yes! Had a great time! Tip, go on a Sunday or during the week... Saturdays will be crazy. I did see basic camping at the boat launch and think they rent cabins. Have fun floating but stay away when I'm there. I'm greedy and don't like big crowds in the boonies!

Had the worst customer service experience. One of the 15 tubes we rented popped when it hit one of the rocks 20 mins into our journey down the river so we called to ask for a new one, but they said to call when we arrived at a designated area. When we did, nobody answered after calling 3 times, so we kept going. When we reached the end, the gentleman waiting for us was super nice and apologetic and said I would get a refund for that tube rental. However, when I arrived at the office to provide my credit card for the refund, the young girls that were there told me I wasn’t getting a refund since it was my responsibility and that it was in the contract I had signed. One in particular was very snarky and unprofessional, so much so that she even told me “byeeee” very sarcastically as I was walking out upset. This business shouldn’t even be allowing people to “float” down the River when the water level is so low. We had to drag out tubes 90% of the time, and had small kids with us. They of course don’t tell you that when you reserve the tubes. We are in a family vacation and this was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trips, but instead it ended up being such an unpleasant experience all around. I wish they would at least train their staff to provide better customer service and be more professional.

Overall it was a great time. We plan to do it again, but now that we have gone once we know what we need to actually bring to have the best experience.
Things to think about...
1. If you are a larger person, bring your own floatation device. The ones the provide for rent are NOT comfortable.
2. The floating cooler rafts are not worth the extra $20. Ours had holes in the netting and no others were available.
3. If you're a large group trying to tie off together, find a way to do it so that the really narrow gaps don't cause harm to some of your fellow floaters. Three tubes burst due to snagging on limbs in the very narrow gaps.
4. Make sure your water shoes have THICK soles to them. There are a few spots (even though the water was considered high for our trip) that you have to get out and walk your tubes through because it's so shallow, but the rocks are large and many are sharp. (3 of the 8 people with us got holes in their water shoes and were injured because of this)

We stayed in cabin 3. I'm 6'4" and tue doors and ceiling are pretty low. I wouldn't recommend it if your over 6'. Other than that... it was really nice with a great view.
Pat Donovan — Google review
Girls at the front desk are unfriendly and rude. River was so low that we had to drag our tubes 80% of the way. When we complained, the response was "we can't control mother nature". We aren't asking you to control mother nature, just tell us that the river is too low to float and don't rent tubes when you already know this just for a payday.

The kayak rental and shuttle service was a lot of fun and straight forward. They dropped us off 7 miles up river and gave helpful information about the route and how to get back to the start again. Beautiful river and plenty of rocky beaches to pull over and enjoy the water and relax.
Waterfront lodging with relaxed rooms, plus low-key dining, a seasonal outdoor pool & a hot tub.
Absolutely killer vacation spot. All the staff are super friendly and polite, especially Gina David, Rick and Shanon. Food is spectacular, scenery is even better and the rooms are very clean. There's extremely little trash outside so people clearly care about keeping things clean! Lots of stuff to do and plenty of variety in trails so it's perfect for anyone no matter their experience. Highly recommend!

It was our first stay at the lodge. If you're looking for a winter weekend escape to a peaceful and serene setting, the lodge will not disappoint. We stayed in a suite. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The window views of the lake is amazing. The staff was very attentive. We took a 1-hour boat tour from the marina near the lodge, to see the eagles. We had a great guide and seeing the eagles was pretty cool. There are local nature trails to enjoy, and a sunset stroll on the lodge property is a nice way to end the day. The lodge restaurant provides good food at a reasonable price.

When it comes to customer service this place went out of their way to make us comfortable. We showed up later than expected and no reservation. They got my son and I into a lake view room.
The restaurant showed my son and I amazing hospitality. When my son and I wanted to have our dessert in front of the fireplace they had the fireplace lit and made us comfortable in front of it with games to play.
The marina was generous and so friendly. We had a blast renting water toys and hiking in the beautiful forest right behind the resort. We saw about 4 dear during our hike.
An unforgettable experience for us! My only regret is not staying longer.

We stayed in the campgrounds site 104. It was full hookups. Didn’t use the bathrooms but popped my head in to check it out. It looked about average. Our site had a partial lane view and was pull through. It was pretty level. Looked like it had been a long while since the bbq or fire pit had been cleaned out. We also got has lot of ants all around the site and they even came in our camper. Had to go to the store to get ant killer.
The lake itself was really nice. We did a boat tour and swimming trip that was $14 a person. We were the only ones on it so that was real nice.
The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to golf or hike.

This was our first stay at the park. Stayed at the lodge while other family members camped. The lodge is nothing fancy but very comfortable and enjoyable. The camp sites were great too along with very clean camp bathrooms and showers. Our room in the lodge was on the second floor and had an amazing view of the lake. Definitely worth the extra money for a lake view. Ate breakfast in the Shoreline Cafe. They were only serving a buffet which was just ok. Gift shop had a surprisingly great choice of items. Such a beautiful lake. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend for all ages.

The location is very beautiful surrounded by tall pine forest bordering a well maintained lake. Food in the resort is expensive and the breakfast was over cooked dry but the service was nice. Went here for the Thanksgiving buffet for $40 (includes drink and gratuity) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! They had everything you could want and more, from a massive salad bar and two tiered dessert table, to three meats, three gravies, and all the sides and fixings your heart could crave. We got there and immediately found a parking spot, went inside and there was no wait or line, got immediately seated and was able to head straight to the buffet with hardly any one around the food. The dining area had a great crowd but not chaotic and we got a lovely window seat overlooking the crystal waters and mountains with the trees changing colors. It was a beautiful Thanksgiving meal. Very low key, very delicious and zero stress involved. Afterwards it was nice to stroll the grounds outside and take in nature away from the hustle and bustle of town. I LOVE this holiday and I love cooking but this was definitely the way to go for anyone looking for a nice break at a place that takes you in like family, keeps the sweet tea full, and gorgeous views and no chaos. Only downside is no leftovers for later!!! Will definitely be back, this was truly a beautiful memory I want to experience the years to come.

Best lake I’ve been to. Had some good fishing and really fun islands.
Anyway here’s some cool lake facts.
Did you know…lakes can die?
Once formed, lakes do not stay the same. Like people, they go through different life stages—youth, maturity, old age, and death.
All lakes are either open or closed. If water leaves a lake by a river or other outlet, it is open. All freshwater lakes are open. If water only leaves a lake by evaporation, the lake is closed. Closed lakes usually become saline (salty). This is because as the water evaporates, it leaves behind solids—mostly salts.
The Great Salt Lake, in the U.S. state of Utah, is the largest saline lake in North America.
The lowest lake in the world is the Dead Sea, on the edge of Israel and Jordan. The surface level is 418 m below sea level.
The highest lake in the world is the crater lake of Ojos del Salado, on the border of Chile and Argentina at 6,390 m above sea level.
The deepest lake in the world is Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia, it is 1,637 m at its deepest point.
The longest lake in the world is Lake Tanganyika in Africa at 660 km and it is also the second deepest lake.
Anyway 10/10

It’s a great spot for free camping, it wasn’t crowded at all, with benches/tables/fire pits, and they did have pit toilets, but it was out of TP and didn’t look or smell like it had been maintained frequently. And it’s very buggy with lots of spiders, and my friend saw 2 tranchulas on the road, so you definitely want a tent that’ll keep everything out
If you’re into crystals and minerals, This is a great area to do some rock hunting...
Only crazy thing I feel obligated to mention is at around 11pm we heard this CRAZY unnatural noise! Like a Sasquatch howling really close to our tent, repeatedly nonstop for like 5min until we heard a gun go off, then we didn’t hear it again....

I'm from out west and this was the best lake I've ever been to!
Pirate-themed mini golf course with 18 holes that are set among waterfalls and caves. Kids love the mini golf course and it is a great family attraction. The course has all the obstacles and features you would expect on a mini golf course, like waterfalls, windmills, and bridges over streams of water.
Pirates Cove is a spectacular choice for large groups. Plenty of space to run around (part of golfing with toddlers), well maintained property, $2 coupon online, adjacent to a convenience store - so the winner/loser/whichever can treat ya to some sweets 😆
The employees were so kind! One gentleman even obliged us by taking a group photo of all 13 golfers on the pirate ship.
Stop by! There were absolutely no negatives. People hopped holes, made space for kiddos, and kiddos thankfully didn’t dart onto the greenbelt area - which is the only thing separating golfers from the highway.
This was a BIG VICTORY on our spring break adventure. “The Cave” was a major favorite. No idea which hole # that is, sorry Googlers. I was chasing a toddler.

We're visiting from Texas on a family summer vacation and decided to do a little miniature golf to get out of the cabin for a bit.
They have 2 courses, but after the first, we had so much fun, we came back for a second after taking a break for lunch. Afternoon proved to be a bit hotter, though it's cooler than it is in Texas right now, so that was nice.
Pirate's Cove was an economical way to spend the day as a family, and if we find ourselves in Hot Springs again, we'd definitely come back!+

This was a fun little place. They have 2 courses. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to do both but would have loved too. The courses have pirates all throughout the course and some beautiful waterfalls. They were really busy so there was a lot of waiting on the courses for the people in front of you. We did the Captains course. I’d really like to go back and do the other course. It’s $10 for each course but if you do both they give you the 2nd course at $5. So $15 total per person.

Went on a Monday morning when they opened and had a blast with the family. Some of the holes were easy, and others not so much. Just one word of caution, my kids (8 and under) got spooked by the prisoner in the cave (see photo) because they were so infatuated by putting under the waterfall.
I got a good laugh at the fright it caused, but had to do some damage control afterwards about it being fake.

Awesome place to spend time with family and friends. This place is not only for playing mini-golf but also for adventure time too. The place is perfectly made with beautiful scenery in every section. They have huge fans for people to get cool while playing /resting . Everything was well built and thought. I couldn't take too many pictures as I was too busy just enjoying the view but it's beautiful. My kids had so much fun while playing golf. We were visiting the Hot springs area and stopped by this place and were happy at the end. They also gave us some souvenirs at the front desk when we returned the golf 🏒 . We will definitely visit again if we are in the area. Thank you for building this beautiful place.

Lots of different options to golf and even a double at 36 holes!! We did the captain at 18 holes it was fun and not super easy so the challenge was fun!! Go early if you're going in the summer it has partial shade with fans in the trees, had a wonderful time!

My son (10) and I really enjoyed our visit here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We played both courses (36 holes), paid for the first course, then just the difference to get the special rate for both. Both courses consist of par 2-3 holes, and they have fun pirate trivia along the way.

My husband and I took my daughter and two grandsons to play mini golf. We really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't know how long it would take us to go through. It was about an hour to play 18 rounds. I wish we had opted to do both courses. Next time, we will do both. The whole area was clean and everyone was nice.

Great time had by all! Fun course, loved using the app for keeping score, and reading the pirates facts as we played was super fun! Our kids loved the gift bag of pirate goodies they got at the end! Staff was super friendly and helpful! We’ll be back for sure, next time to try the challenging course.

It was pretty busy here today on Memorial Day weekend! This is a really nice location, though! This place is really kept up well! All the putting courses were pretty clean.
Oaklawn is a horse-racing track and casino with table games, video poker, slots, and a Creole restaurant. The history of the place dates back to the 1800s when it was established to encourage gaming spirit among masses and provide an outlet for some fun. Today, as one of the most popular places in Arkansas for racing events and other games, Oaklawn is a must-stop for anyone visiting the state.
It is very clean and I love that smoking is not allowed in the casino... I do wish people didn't stand outside the doors and smoke, forcing nonsmokers to walk through their smoke, but that happens many places. I went twice within a week or so and made a snap but if money on the slots each time, playing for hours each time. I find it to be good entertainment.
Unlike many other casinos I've visited, the cocktails are not complimentary, but are really no better than the free ones at other casinos... Which just means I will not be ordering anymore of them!

We came to Hot Springs to see Aaron Lewis, an amazing artist. That was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to, loved the acoustic concert. Everyone seemed to be well behaved and respectful. The facility is so nice, very beautiful. Elegant bathrooms. I’d definitely go back for another concert. If I had one complaint, the ushers need to have those that are standing up in front of others that paid the same price. Definitely not cool blocking the views!

My wife and I stayed at the resort the Friday of Memorial Day weekend for a concert. Awesome facility in every way (rooms, dining, concert venue, amenities, parking, etc.).
One clear standout is the customer service/experience.
Uncharacteristically, I left a very important item in my room upon checkout and didn't realize it until I was over 4 hours away. I quickly called the resort desk and was connected to Mr. Landon Snell (Front area manager I think).
Thankfully they had the item in his office, and he explained he'd be more than happy to mail it to me. I was pleasantly surprised - one; they had the item, and two; how pleasant and helpful Mr. Snell was ensuring me he'd mail the item to me. Wow.
Superior experience and service!

Rooms were great! Comfortable bed, 75 inch TV, large rain shower head in shower. Casino is very nice, none smoking although they ate very tight machines and card are electronic with a dealer passing them out. The nice restaurants are not open on Mon and Tues so we had to leave to get dinner. Overall, nice couple of days.

The hotel was nice. Was on the 8th floor and had a great view of the horse track. The room was clean but housekeeping made it to out room after 5. It was peaceful considering there is a casino on the second floor. I would stay again. Russel at the front desk was also very nice and professional. Overall in hot springs it’s the best you are going to get

Beautiful hotel and rooms, and the service was excellent, far above anywhere in the area. We enjoyed the check in process with Brian, the manager…I mean who enjoys checking in?? He was a pleasure to talk to though. It’s a little pricey but I would say worth it because of how nice the hotel is. The bed was super comfortable, and the AC worked great. Everything was crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay, and the view of the track would be amazing during race season.

Just went into the casino. It was a pleasant experience. I was a bit on the plus side, had I not answered my phone. It always breaks up the fun mood when I'm on the phone and trying to enjoy myself.
I also wanted to make it a "one-stop shop" with dinner after playing, but I guess I was too early.
They should have at least one 'nice' dining area open for a nice sit-down dining experience.

Oaklawn is a great experience into racing and a good time for a weekend away. You can stay locally or at the hotel and casino. Rooms are plush and you can get track facing rooms. In the evening we ate in the casino and they had your normal flair of slots and tables. Only negative I noted was the manned Roulette table is a min $25 bet and they lose some customers due to that fact alone. The auto Roulette wheel was a $3 buy in...don't miss the sports betting area all the way in the back. Excellent parking, however there is a fee if you arrive the morning of the races, but free later. Valet is available. As its a casino and horse track, I an not sure this would be the best kid friendly place. Added note: they recently installed metal detectors to casino entrance. Not a big deal, but noteworthy for those that exercise 2A.

We have been in Hot Springs since Nov.
Went New Years for the Prince Tribute.
The performance was really good!
Only the chairs in the rows were entirely too close together. The rows were also too small. Some people had difficulty getting into and out of the rows.
The casino was very nice. Loved the smokers being in their own section! This was the first time I had come from a casino not reeking from smoke.
Will definitely be back!

Do not use the pads in the room to order. Take the time and place a phone call. It will save you from having to jump out of bed to get dressed to answer the door to ask what you ordered 30 minutes before you planned to get up. This is after they called the night before to see what time I wanted the order (which was also entered on the pad).
It makes you wonder how accurate the betting pads are in the casino portion. Please consider your payment method. They do take $250 immediately in case you cause damage. They are kind enough to return in 3-5 days whenever it works out . The personality at the front desk is not what I would want to represent my business, but I was kind on the front end as it really was a small thing until I had to call back. It just deviated from there.
The positive - The facility is nice. I was impressed with the physical features. Beyond that, I have no words.

I have little interest in gambling, but did want a NICE, MODERN, FULL SERVICE HOTEL in Hot Springs. There is NOTHING to dislike about this hotel...clean, modern....inviting lobby w/parking valets & bell service....large beautifully appointed rooms ( with robe, slippers, and a GINORMOUS FLAT SCREEN TV, super comfortable bed and amazing art work/furnishings!
I had a room with full view of the racetrack on a racing day, and mountains in the background. Nice restaurants, bars...spa facilities (massage, facials, fitness center).
Front desk, restaurant/bar and casino staff were friendly & efficient...even the housekeepers/groundskeepers were welcoming and polite.
My place to stay whenever i come to HS.

I can only rate based upon stopping by to have a little fun. We did not stay at the casino hotel.
However, if you want a total smoke-free casino (the majority of it), this is the spot. I don't smoke, but I looked for the smoking section anyhow. Could not find it, could not smell it, it was a joy not to leave a casino smelling like stale second-hand smoke.

Went for a concert only. Lovely facility, but was surprised that most of the seating was just chairs in a standard event hall space with a stage. The seating map was deceiving , as it made it seem it was a permanent theater hall. Next concert, I’ll choose the seats in the back. Better view and better seats. The bar out front was so backed up, so we went upstairs to on the casino bars. Not full, but the guy was so slow. The two bars inside of the hall, they worked their tails off, but too a while. But at least u could stay and enjoy the show while u waited. Overall, it was good!

We didn't stay at the hotel so I cannot speak on it. We went to watch horse racing which neither of us had ever seen. The track is very nice, like a golf course. We had a great time betting on the races and am not much of a gambler. Hours of entertainment for far cheaper than going to a casino.

We had so much fun. 1st race post time was 1 pm, they opened the gates at 11. You have to order tickets online, you can't buy them at the track (but you can pick them up at will call. Will call is inside, so don't try before 11. Parking on site is $5 and you need cash, exact change. All of the betting only takes cash, but all the places to eat take cards. Every staff member we interacted with were VERY friendly. There were 9 races, from 1 pm til 510 pm. They had both 1 1/16 mile races and 6 furlong races. We had tickets in row L down near the glass (row c) and the seats were great! The first 4 races we watched from our seats because the free outside area was in full sun. Once the building was shaded we moved out to the rail. We tried watching from the infield but you can't see anything. Long story short--go. Bring cash. If you can afford it, buy tickets and sit inside for at least the hot parts of the day. Visit the paddock--you'll love seeing the horses. We WILL be back!!!

Any OTHER casino will compensate you for your stay and play. This casino will take and then take some more. You do not have free food when you play. Yes it's smoke free but there is no casino games except for blackjack and craps. On weekends you'll be lucky to find a 15 dollar table. On race days you'll be lucky to find a 25 minimum. There is another casino an hour away that offers more games cheaper drinks and will compensate a full buffet to just sit and play.

We didn't stay here, but we went to the casino there. This maybe how casinos work in AR, but the payout for exact same game with the same amount of money bet is about half of what OK pays out. We still had a great time just time we are in AR we won't spend money at their casinos and wait until we go back to OK or Vegas. Vegas pays even better than OK.

We were blown away by the breathtaking view of the track we had from our room. Not to mention, the room itself was beyond spacious and had us feeling very pampered. Every amenity had been thought of, even a scale and slippers. Will be returning, for sure. Smoke-free casino was also a delight complete with kind, helpful staff. I haven’t a single complaint for this fine establishment.

Went with a girlfriend and played till one of us lost the mad money we brought. We went early on a Friday and had our choice of where to park. We could freely move around and pick slot machines. No tables were open for black jack. There's a smoker's room which I didn't visit. There are restaurants and a hotel.

I think the only thing that I didn't like here is will. I'll get. The only two things is that they always take all my money and the smoking section is small really too small and the game's in it are really more tailored to the high spenders, not the penny slot machine you know

Beautiful first class, full service, smoke free, resort hotel & casino with all the amenities that anyone could want.
Awesome horse racing track with climate controlled seating and outside seating.
24/7 on-site sports, dog, and horse race betting.
Free hotel guest valet/taxi service to and from anywhere in the city.
Plenty of slot machines and table games.
Great on site fast food outlets and restaurants.
It was refreshing and wonderful to have fun without being exposed to rancid, disease laden tobacco smoke, dirty ashtrays, and ash on every surface.
So good to see an intelligent business management group that really cares about the health and comfort of all their employees and customers.

We went for the live races and had a BLAST! No bad seats, indoor and outdoor options. We went on a Sunday- so much less packed than a Saturday. Infield was too wet to go to, sadly, but it looked awesome. On a sunny day, would be a great place to be for the races. Kid friendly and can see the horses close up (again, probably better on a Sunday). Friendly staff throughout and a fun experience.

As compact casinos go, this one is clean and comfortable. Everything feels relatively new. There's a 24 hour dining eatery available plus additional restaurants during normal hours. The place is a perfect size for Hot Springs and hosts decent performers. When you're up late with nothing else to do, head over here, get a grilled sandwich, and play some slots.

Love the racetrack. We did encounter a bartender charging customers extra for drinks, they were $5 instead of $4. She did it to us 2 days in a row, when I called her out on it she was like oh my, oops and gave us the correct amount back. Then she did it to my husband the next day, without me. Hopefully management fixed it

Definitely worth visiting. 80% of the casino area is slots, with a large sports betting area in the back. The casino is non smoking except for a closed off area with more slot machines, which is super nice. They also have some roulette, craps, and blackjack, but its only about 20 tables. Didn't see any poker so I assume it's in a different area.
We had some food at the main restaurant by the casino, and they had reasonable prices. You can also walk up to the bar while you're gambling and get drinks, and they're pretty cheap. I think I paid $6 for a mixed drink. We're going to go back and check out the horse racing, the casino just wasn't for us.
Also I went during my birthday month and they let you spin a wheel for Oaklawn merch and casino credits, so that was cool.

I only experienced the casino. The main area is nonsmoking. I was so happy for that. I used to smoke and had a smoker with me so we did go in the smoking area and played. It was so thick with smoke it was hard to breathe. There should be better ventilation and a warning on the door. I never saw a waitress and the lines for nonalcoholic beverages took forever. But we played for hours and had a great time.

We were on the top floor with a view of the racetrack. Beautiful room that was spacious and clean. Frankly, we loved everything about our weekend getaway! Everyone, and I mean everyone at the Hotel was very warm and friendly. They made us feel right at home. Shoutouts to the Bellman to the ladies in the bar in the lobby to the Gift Shop associates! I think the only issue, which is very minor, was there weren't enough servers in the Casino (slot areas.) I had to track them down for a Mimosa, which was way, way overpriced. We plan on coming back to the Hotel soon!

We drove over from Conway for the evening. Around 10:00pm I got hungry and decided to get something to eat at Big Al’s Diner. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and I have never in my life been served a sandwich like this! It was an absolute mess! So greasy I couldn’t even pick it up. The other half of the sandwich I was not even able to pick up it was such a mess. The sandwich was so greasy it soaked through the to go order box and left a spot on the table. I didn’t even bother to take a bite of the sandwich because the bread was SOAKED in grease. If there is a way I can post a picture I sure will! What a disgrace!

The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center is a restored structure that features exhibits and films about the bathhouses of yesteryear. It is one of the only places you can enter other than the Buckstaff, which has been in operation since 1912. The center also houses a museum with information about Bathhouse Rows interesting past and its famous former clients.
Such an interesting place! Definitely a must-visit for your first trip to Hot Springs. We did the self guided tour, and it felt like we were stepping through a looking glass into the early 1900s. As a nice bonus, there is no entry fee.

This is a cool place to visit and learn about the history of Hot Springs bathhouses. The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public. There are 4 floors, with artifacts and panels, images, and a brief history of the people that came to hot springs for thousands of years starting with Native Americans. If you're fascinated by history and a glimpse into how hot springs once looked, come to this place.

So much to do and learn! Beside Hot Springs having all the modern the National Park is the gem. Taking time to go through the visitor center and learn about the history of the bathhouses is a must. They have preserved and displayed something from each historic house. They have even displayed the separation of genders and race.
Remember to bring your water bottles and fill up from the hot and cold taps!

We were looking for "something along our route" and the bath houses came up as a Google recommendation.
My first thought was...that doesn't seem too exciting. I looked at some reviews by others and thought my family may enjoy an hour or two here so we would go. I didn't have any great expectations.
Boy was I surprised! This place was great! We stopped into the visitor center and picked up a map and a coupon booklet. Do that first!
We wandered down the bustling street and passed by countless little shops. We saw an amphibians tour and thought we might try it. Maybe later.
We stopped in a few bath houses that were still operational. With e kids tagging along it wasn't practical to think we were going to bathe, so we went to the next one. Everyone was super friendly and told us about the one that was turned into a museum....the Fordyce.
We made our way over to the Fordyce and saw they had guided tours, or you could self tour. We didn't want to wait for the guided tour so we checked it out alone. My kids were fascinated and I quickly read all the narrations to them as were breezed through the building. They especially like the electromassage and other "weird" technology from back then. We even watched a little of the theater info video.

We visited here on this trip as my husband had never been here. I thought it would be something fun for us to do. The Fordyce Bathhouse is one of the old bathhouses on Bathhouse row on Central Ave in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a visitor center and is a museum of sorts as you can tour through the 3 floors and basement. It is a step back into the glory days of what it was like for people who visited the bathhouse for either treatment for ailments or just to relax and have social interactions with other patrons. The natural hot springs that run underground were a great resource. They have an elevator here as well. The staff/park rangers are very friendly and helpful. It's a clean establishment, and there are bathrooms for you located in the basement. There is a gift shop as well. The Fordyce is a must-see if you are visiting here, and it is FREE to tour also.

My favorite stop on Bathhouse Row. I always take time to visit this beautiful, historic building when I’m in Hot Springs. It’s been so well preserved, it’s hard not to get caught up in thoughts about the lives of the people who are long-gone that occupied this bathhouse. Some of the stained glass is truly breathtaking. Every room is a snapshot of history, some sad, but very thought-provoking. I recommend the self-guided tour for anyone who would like to reflect on the past in their own time.

Fascinating history. We took the 10 am. outside, ranger-guided tour led by Ranger Chimill. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. There was also an inside tour, but we preferred slowly going through the museum by ourselves as they had the information well marked on signs and placards.

FREE Admission- What an amazing visit! The building is kept at 62 degrees- you may want to bring a jacket. If you are thinking about stopping in it is so worth your time. Very educational while enjoyable experience as well.
The park rangers were so friendly and knowledgeable. There are guided tours at set times of the day, a video segment. Make sure you make it to the third floor and see the beautiful stain glass ceiling in the parlor. There is free parking near by the building. It is a very busy area. A bit challenging to access but very worth it. Restrooms are available in the basement.

The landmark Hot Springs Mountain Tower has views of the surrounding mountains and Hot Springs National Park. The tower is 216-feet tall, making it a great place to see the area.
Hot Springs Mountain Tower is a must see when visiting HS, Arkansas for sure! You get a beautiful view of the town below and surrounding mountains. Makes for nice photos. I've gone twice and would go again next time I vacation in Arkansas. Gift shop always has cute things to choose from. My husband bought me birthstone stud earrings the first time we went and a lovely ring the second time. Being way up high is always so exciting!

A breathtaking view of Hot Springs and the surrounding area! If you are visiting for the first time, this absolutely needs to be on your list of things to do.
The gift shop was cute and full of local souvenirs, the employees were very welcoming, and the top of the tower really is something to experience.
The very top floor is open-air, while the floor just below has windows and goes into the history of Hot Springs, the tower, etc. I can tell you I have a pretty intense fear of heights, but I went up for our kids and I really did feel safe once I got to the top. If you're nervous about going, I'd encourage you to give it a shot.
If you have young kids, be prepared for them to get to the top and say "Wow! We're up high! Can we go now?" 😂 You may have to do some speed reading to read some of the information on the enclosed floor.
Honestly, I may have enjoyed the drive up and down the mountain as much as I enjoyed the tower! It was filled with switchbacks and was really a beautiful drive. Lots of places along the way to stop, see the sights, have a picnic lunch, and even walk some trails if you'd like.
David Engle — Google review
Our family of 5 came for the bath houses....decided to see the tower. There was the option of parking at the bottom and hiking the trail to the tower, but the drive seemed like a better idea as Temps were nearing 93.
The drive up the mountain was beautiful with dozens of switchbacks winding though the trees as the sun poking through created a natural strobe light effect.
Parking up top is limited to about 50 vehicles...so come early, although many who come up do not stay too long. There is a gift shop in the bottom of the tower that looks a little dated, but the workers were extremely nice.
The price for the tower is a little steep costing 13 for adults and 9 for kids. 1st responder discount and a 1 free admission coupon from the guide book we picked up at the visitors center in town...we spent less than 45 bucks. The tower was busy (July 3rd) so there was a 5 minute wait for the elevator. There is a turnstyle from an old subway that you place your token in to access the elevators. A 1 minute ride to the top and you can staybas long as you like. The very top was open air but if you go around to the staircase, the is another floor lower that is enclosed with A/C and lots of reading panels.
We took the staircase back down which was pleasant.

Great views but very windy! Recommend bringing a jacket if you visit the outside observation deck! The inside observation deck is the level below it, but the views are better from the very top of the tower. Wish we got to see the sun set all the way. Unfortunately, their hours say it closes at 5pm, but the tower actually closes at 4:30pm. Wish they would extend their hours, especially during the summer when the sun sets later because the views would be beautiful! Admission was $10/person and parking is free.

So very pretty, and also very interesting. The gift shop is kind of pricey, but the lookout tower views make up for it. The staff is so nice, upbeat, and pleasant to interact with. To put it simply, the staff was refreshing. I highly recommend!!

My wife wanted to go up in this tower for our anniversary today. It’s a beautiful view of Hot Springs and the surrounding mountains. The elevator has a window and goes up the middle of the 216 ft. crossbeam structure that the overlook platform is built on.
Lots of souvenirs
in the gift shop at the bottom. Everyone should visit here at least once.

Beautiful uphill drive and nicely built tower. The best part was the elevator going up to the viewing deck. You could see miles away while going up. The views from the tower are awesome. You could see the buildings and the hotels around. Hot Spring, AR has so many trees. You could see the greenery all over the place from the tower. You also find the hot springs at the base of the tower while going back.

Easily accessible from the main road, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The drive up is very nice with some view points. You can also walk up to the top
There was not a long wait to buy tickets or for the Elevator to go up. You can also walk the stairs if you like.
Excellent 360 view from the top with plenty of Historical Photos and information.
There is a nice shop where you purchase the tickets.

Lovely view and really good customer service. You do have to pay to go up. They give a discount for groups of 15 or more and also offer a military/veterans discount.

Amazing view from the top. You can drive to it or hike to it. Roughly 1/2-3/4 mile hike up the hill. Medium level of difficulty but worth it in my opinion.
Gift shop items are excessively overpriced, kind of expected, but not to this extreme.

$12 with a National Parks pass to get elevator to the top which is 216ft.
Great views over the National Park and over the town of Hot Springs. There is an exhibition level below the top deck giving the history of the town and the famous people who came to the area to bathe in the spring water.

The tower tour was a quick in and out. Lots of information on the history. Great views. We were able see the pretty fall colors view. The tower closed at 2.00pm due to the day before Thanksgiving. We also got $3off per ticket as we had the annual national park pass.

Must see and do. There are a lot of history placards on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor is an outdoor viewing area. Loved it. I have a National Parks pass so out entry was $10/person

360 degree view up to 5 miles on a good day. What you see is downtown Hot Springs and a lot of trees and more trees for miles.
Two levels are accessible. Second last level is barricaded with glass and exhibits explaining the history of the town. Last floor is partially obstructed and you can feel the wind on your face as you immerse in the breathtaking views of the town.
Plenty of parking around the tower. 5 minutes easy drive through the winding roads from downtown.
It is wheelchair accessible and has elevator.
If you get a coupon book from the downtown visitor center, you get one free entry to the tower. They also offer military discount and if you are a military gold star family member, you further get a dollar off on already discounted military ticket.
Restrooms are near the exit/gift shop.

Recommended by a native from Hot Springs, we made a point to go before sunset and got there just in time before they stopped making runs up to the top (4:30p in November). Hold on to your hat when you get to the top so it doesn’t blow away! Beautiful drive up the windy 5k road to the base of the tower and peaceful, gorgeous views await you at the top!

Awesome views of the town Hot Springs! Well worth it, elevator was a bit sketchy though. You also have to pay for the viewing scopes up top. They have a gift shop at the bottom/ entrance when you first come in.

*Don't worry...there is parking at top next to tower.
The drive up, as the fall leaves are in peak change, was beautiful. No vehucles over 30ft due to tight turns on 1 way road.
You only pay if you want to go up. It costs about $13/person...there's also a discount for military/first responders.
Tower is the highest point around and view is beautiful. The gift shop at bottom is full of souvenoir options too. There is an elevator to top.
*To the owner: my appologies...typo regarding cost to go up.- C. Lopez

The drive up was very nice lots of scenery. When we at the top looking up at the tower was very impressive. So we paid our way in and took the elevator to the top and what a view! Then there is all kinds of history about Hot Springs and the tower with all the famous people from the 30s to include Babe Ruth and lots of other baseball players. The gift shop is also very cool with shirts, hats and other items. You won't be disappointed at all. This was my first time up and I did it for my 61st birthday!

I helped cater the food for an event here. The staff was very helpful, and the facilities are beautiful. I've also attended a concert in the main hall. It was very lovely.

We went to see the Wizard of Oz here at the Ponce De Leon Center. The show was outstanding!! This facility has lots of room for seating and your knees don't feel cramped against the back of someone's chair.

I had my Wedding reception in the Ponce De Leon Porte Cache. If I could do it again I would rather have no reception than support this company with my money.
I was very disappointed when I went to pay the fees and they tried to charge me DOUBLE what they promised me.
The receptionist, Valerie, was not professional when discussing the mistakes they made on the cost of renting this facility. She spoke rudely to me and had very poor costumer service.
When looking at this venue there were many specific questions I asked to make sure it was in my budget and supplied my needs. They had all the answers I was looking for in our personal meeting.
Unfortunately, by the time it came to pay, their word meant absolutely nothing, and they tried to charge me for every single thing I asked about in the personal meeting.(table clothes, decorating early that day, and hanging lights that I bought for decoration)
After an hour of conversation they took off the cost of hanging lights up and decorating early, but put me in a terrible position to either pay them money for tablecloths, or have none at all. THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. Even though as a company they had already promised them to me with no extra cost!
I was shocked, and strongly disappointed in their customer service.

This fantastic 640 seat theater serves as the cultural heart of the largest, private gated community in the U.S. The covered portico entrance not only welcomes each visitor to the theater's many live entertainment offerings, but it also serves as a location for special pre-show gatherings and hosted activities. And on the other side of the portico from the theater sits the Ouachita Room complex, which hosts a stream of meetings, club activities, bridge tournaments, and other similar events. The Woodlands Auditorium and the complex it represents is truly one of the jewels of Hot Springs Village.

Great and cheap selection. It offer a wide variety of different items to furnish your house. A lot of the stuff is really good quality, there's a few things to stay away from that look cheap made. Overall though, definitely a place to go if you want some unique items you won't find that some chain department store. They do have drinks and snacks and other miscellaneous types of things. I went here a few times, the first time I went, easily spent almost two hours. If you're in the market for some home furnishings, it's a definite this is at least one of your stops to go. Also, definitely budget some extra time in your schedule before you visit here haha.

Cool place with lots of antique, reclaimed, restored, and custom pieces. Much of it is the distressed look, but there's plenty of everything else too. We've gotten a few pieces here: a dresser for our daughter and some smaller decor items for shelves and walls. Only complaint is some sellers don't price all their items, so you have to get the cashier to call them for a price.

My wife and I love this place. Store is kind of a mix between an upscale flea market and a southern craft boutique. It has a mix of new items, antiques and repurposed goods. Lots of furniture and clothing. Has a very warm home like feel, with a southern charm.

1st visit to this area. Very nice store.
Friendly Employees. SELLS ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT!!!
Not a musty flea market. Upscale booths a variety for all budgets! A true marketplace. I really enjoyed shopping here. Worth the drive here from Oklahoma.

This is a really neat place, we have been there several times. The only downfall is that the staff is not friendly at all. I am not one to put reviews on websites about businesses but the few times we have been in there to shop the staff was very unfriendly. They do not greet or speak to you when eye contact is made and will look right at you and not say anything. It would be more inviting if the staff was more welcoming.

This place is so much bigger on inside than it looks on outside and so many amazing crafts, furniture, and unique items to purchase. Neat place to spend some time

Painted Tree is such an awesome community of small businesses. Perfect place to find gift items during the holidays.
The Outlets of Little Rock is a shopping mall that specializes in selling outlet brands. It is located close to the highway and has a variety of retailers, including Under Armour, Old Navy, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Clarks, Banana Republic etc.
I wish there were more stores at the Outlets because this is the best way to shop during the spring and summer! You get to stroll from store to store in the fresh air. No need to worry about getting a sunburn because they have shades put up throughout the Outlets. Great stores like H&M, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Children's Place. The Outlets are very close to other great things like the Bass Pro, Dave & Buster's and the Movie Tavern!

Was significantly better in the past before COVID. Used to have RH and Brooks Brothers. Lots of empty storefronts, but still has popular stores like Le Creuset, Levi's, and Nike.

Great place to shop, it was very cold the day we went and we didn't stay long. Lots of great shops, I went to bath and body, was great, and a few other shops. Not many people out yoday

For everyone like me that was tired of the same old stores, there is a new store called Grand Palace at the Outlets and it is a great place to shop as far as variety and deals. My husband bought a watch from there last weekend and after getting it appraised we found out it was worth much more than we paid for it. On top of that we were even able to add it to our Home Owners policy. Genuine products, great prices, I would give the Outlets 5/5 stars even if Grand Palace, Under Armour, Bath & Body Works, Nike, and H&M were the only store there along.

Rocket Fizz is the best. I used to take my son to the one in Conway but that was years ago. I just haven't been in forever but when I saw it at the outlet mall I had to go in for a soda and salt water taffy. I love that place and will be going back soon.

I really enjoyed myself here! It was our first time here (family) while visiting family. Didn't get to explore a lot because we showed up a bit before closing and it started raining, but will definitely be back once we're back in Arkansas. Only giving 4 stars because I didn't get to really walk around and see all of the stores. Just stopped at 3 stores while there..

Don’t waste your time unless you are looking specifically for Nike and Under Armour outlets. Most other stores that are still open at this strip mall can be found elsewhere. Very disappointed in my recent trip. When they first opened up, they were awesome. This past time, there are hardly any stores opened up anymore and tons of vacancies. The site should really update what’s still there and the mall maps should also reflect the change.

Not a bad little outlet mall. There seems to be a decent number of shops gone, but I'd say it's a little over half full (I didn't count total store v. Empty). Overall, it was clean, and I really liked the provided shade overhead. If you want to shop your favorite outlet shops, you should find a good portion of them here.
Stephanie Magnuson — Google review
This is a really nice outdoor mall. It's big and requires a bunch of walking, but there are tons of stores to choose from. Many of the stores have more sales than stand alone locations too. It's kept clean, there are places to sit, and it's definitely a good place to check out.

The bathrooms at the Outlet are absolutely disgusting! My son couldn’t find 1 stall with toilet paper and it smelled awful! Please do better! You had all night to clean!
Crystal Duncan — Google review
This mall is...trying. It has a lot of good stores and a huge selection. There's tons of parking and a lot of neighboring businesses. We mostly go here for Banana Republic and the Levi store. It is an outdoor mall so be aware of that if it's boiling outside as it has been recently. Overall it's a decent place to shop. However, it is difficult to look over the vast amount of violent crime that takes place here and at the surrounding businesses. If you need examples, just Google the name of the mall and add shootings or deaths at the end of your search. Plenty of reading material will pop up. It's a shame because if it were safer we would feel more comfortable visiting more often.

Hot Topics is the place for Animate Shirts or plush characters, and they have clothes also. If not able to find in store, you can always order online. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They do have other stores in the outlets.
Maria Stanford — Google review
A lot of empty stores. Nothing opens until 11 am! Trash littering the sidewalks. Don’t bother stopping. Appears to be a dying outlet mall.

If you're looking for a great place to find clothing at a discount, the Outlets of Little Rock is a great option. There's a ton of stores here, and you can find some really cool places like the Otaku Takeout. The parking is easy to navigate, and there's plenty of it.
Kevin Ao — Google review
I really like this place (and EVERY outlet I have ever been to) because of the outdoor setup and nothing but named brand store fronts to choose from. There definitely needs to have a playground and picnic park to complete area.
BeAtte Stokes — Google review
It's a large open shopping center with some really pretty buildings that seem newer and clean. Some really cute shops here. Typically I don't go for shopping malls anymore, they seem semi dry occasionally, but there were definitely a few that made the trip worth it.
The public restrooms need cleaned pretty badly... the vents in there were absolutely caked with filth.
Otherwise very accessible, not too busy on a Saturday somehow, lots and lots of free parking. Some big store to walk around in, like Bass Pro Shops, Michael's, and also some fun times and arcades, like Dave and Buster's and Lucky Cat Arcade. Also, gotta love anywhere that has a boba tea shop! (Rising Star Boba Co., right across from Otaku Takeout).
Walking around is something fun to do for a few hours I'd say.

I liked this mall more a few years ago as there were more small stores with personality (Bookstore, Jerky Store). Now, the majority of the stores are the typical large chain stores found in almost every mall (Old Navy, Michael's, Bath & Body). It is still a pretty good walkthrough if you are clothes shopping.

Ladies Bathrooms not in working order. One toilet is missing , the handicap toilet was not working. The water to wash your hands for the faucets with also not working. The bathrooms are located close to Carter's and across the street from the Nike store. I would Have pinpoint at a precise location but it will not allow me to do so.
